Nice friendly park, great for walking when geese are not there. Can be kind of gross around the lake when geese are present.

It is a peaceful place. It has everything you need and Plays in the park is a perfect place to recapture favorite plays.

This park is such a nice place to take a walk in (power walk or slow stroll) ... love the lake and the peaceful atmosphere.

Park is good for all ages. kids playground, small lake surrounding walk /bike path.
Picnic area,
Ice skating rink in winter. Close proximity to Rt.1 and Menlo park mall.

A perfect park in the middle of a city. Yes Edison is a city, it is wrong to call it a town. Roosevelt park has tennis courts, basket ball courts, more than 1 playground and a nice lake to walk around. There are open groves and areas that you could reserve to enjoy a picnic. Their outdoor ice skating area is nice. This is also home to the Plays in the Park which are great.

The park is so close to my house and we visit it twice a week in summer days. Big park and has a small pond in the center and can do fishing too. Got Renovated play area for kids.

Great place to bring family and friends.
Quiet and peaceful.
Well kept park .
Military memorial.
Very green .
Lots to enjoy.
I always check TripAdvisor first and so should you.
Enjoy .

It's a great park, very serene. There you can go fishing or have a very nice walk. There are many ducks and wildlife to see.

I drive through the park every evening on my way home from work and it helps me de-stress. There are many activities to choose from, and it is well kept up with improvements.

Beautiful walk around this park, very clean. The lake is wonderful to walk around. A great day to spend out in the open for free.

We stayed in Edison for 2 & 1/2 weeks and used to visit this lovely park often. Lot of families with little kids and teenagers were seen having a good time. There is a separate play area for toddlers and teenagers were seen playing basketball.
I used to walk for 30+ minutes with my husband around a beautiful lake.

A gem for family fun and love the plays in the park offered during the summer. Winter also a great time to visit since there's a well maintained ice rink. Also, plenty of walking room.

Nice and calm park, I visit here often and like the water front side. I also had few birthday parties here and had very good experience.

Nice place to walk in cold breeze of winter or warm temp in summer. Only problems are exit near railway track and garbage

Have been to Roosevelt Park many times to see concerts and plays. You can't been the price of the ticket. You bring your own lawn chair and once the gate opens you can place your chair where ever you like. (Up front, on the side or at the back of the seating area. I go at least twice a year during the summer.

We saw the show “Ain’t Misbehaving” with a wonderful cast. The songs were a revival of the swinging 1920’s when black singers played the blues. Oh, so good.

I have been going to this park since I was probably 10 years old or younger and well in my 60s now. It’s immaculate beautiful and big. Trails , lake , plenty of picnic and cookout areas to bbq
Love it !!

Always enjoy a walk around the lake even in winter. Grounds are kept clean and it’s easy to get there

I never tire of going to this park, one of the few in Middlesex County. Here, you can fish (it's stocked with trout certain times of the year), walk around the pretty pond and watch the ducks, sit on a park bench and watch walkers going around the pond, or take your bike or skate board for as many turns as you wish. Great for picnics in shaded groves with BBQ spots supplied, ice skate during the winter in the rink, play tennis, go to the old water hole, after rains, check out the water slowly cascading down rocks, let the kids use the play area, swings and play gyms set up - or simply take a book along or listen to your music while sitting on the vast lawn (bring chairs) - or - during summer months, enjoy one of the Plays In The Park. The main trail around the lake is paved so it's handicapped accessible. And if you walk to one of the parking areas, you'll find exercise spots set up to test your ability.

The park is huge. You can fish, skate, watch a play in the park, have a picnic, take a hike, play tennis etc.. There are also multiple playgrounds and gazebos. You can get a permit and gave a party. The list is endless. One of my favorite places..

Excellent for walking, watching ducks swim by and relaxing. Well maintained and has almost everything - basketball courts to children play area to picnic benches. Very nice summer spot but it is crowded.

Great for nature lovers. There's also an exercise circuit which we totally enjoyed. Stopped along the way to admire the wildlife, shoot some hoops and checkout the different play areas. Great for families.

I come here many times and enjoy walking under the tall trees during all the seasons of the year. I also meditate here on the benches in the peaceful company of the trees. It has a stream running across it. The atmosphere is tranquil. Also, there is plenty of open space to have picnics and there are benches too to sit down and enjoy some food and party.

Spent time at their open-air ice skating rink for an event and was surprised how nice their facilities. Service staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. The receptionist/security guy at the gate gives you a good sense of security.
Rink is great for both beginners and talented skaters.

Always love this place! Small lake in the center makes it more attractive. Nice place for family outing, walking or jogging

Having lived in Edison for a long, long time, I drive through Roosevelt Park all the time. But, not until recently, did I go for a walk around the lake, then proceeded to explore more and more of the park. It's such a beautiful park - just get out of your car and start to explore! They are known for the summer series - Plays in the Park - and present amazing Broadway-types of shows. There are tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts. There's also plenty of parking.

Kiddie Keep Well Camp has been here almost 100 years, serving seniors and children. A fountain in summer, ice skating in winter. Take a jog around while you are here.

For outstanding, Broadway caliber shows, visit Plays in the Park at Roosevelt Park. Shows in June, July and August. Great night of entertainment ...

Love going to Roosevelt Park for weekend fun activities and letting kids enjoy the play areas. Gazebos are great for picnics and the skating rink is a great attraction for those into that activity.

Roosevelt Park in Edison has great walking trails that are perfect for getting in a run or an easy stroll. There is a pretty stream running throughout, a skating rink for both roller skating in the summer and ice skating in the winter. There are abundant trees and rest rooms that are kept clean! Seriously!
Great for picnicking or walking around the pond.

Walk, barbecue, play tennis, fish. Beautiful Roosevelt Park has it all. In the summer also Plays in the Park. Restrooms too

Great Plays in the Summer and this park has so much to do- a pond with recreation area, plenty of places to run (a track and plenty of green space). Easy to get to and just delightful!

Roosevelt park is a large park - with many area's There the lake for fishing or walking around, Many play grounds, Basketball and tennis courts Ice Skating in the winter
Lots of picnic grounds, Oh and Plays in the park too Just a good well rounded park with many area's

This park has been around forever and it is always well-maintained by the Middlesex County Parks Department. The park was build by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1940s and has been enjoyed by the locals ever since. There are picnic groves, playgrounds, places to walk, ice skating in the winter and the Plays-in-the Park in the summer. Right near Menlo Park Shopping Center so you can relax and then shop. Always kept nicely and is a local icon!

This park is a great place for young and old playgrounds walking paths benches and a peaceful lake .

Trees, small lake ,sketinstadium two tennis ground and so many arrangements of group party in real sense very good park for everyone.

Every summer my sister and I attend the three plays in the park. It is a outside theater and we bring our lawn chairs. We usually bring a picnic meal and eat at one of the park tables. If we don’t bring our dinner there are great restaurants nearby to eat at.

Roosevelt Park plays in the park are always superb and the set design is incredible. The show is always done professionally and the staff is fun

We were so fortunate the summer weather was cooler. While we waited to see a “Chorus Line“ play, we had a wonderful picnic at one the tables in the park. With the cool wind and warmth from the sun, it was a perfect afternoon to enjoy the scenery and people.

Very family friendly....bike/walking trails. Picnic areas throughout the park, fishing for boys and girls...don't forget to get you permits. Great local afternoon.

This park can be a tourist attraction if you visit during spring and beginning of Fall. The trees look really beautiful and good place for photography.

Excellent park , very nice trails
Most beautiful in Middlesex county... they have a nice lake where people come for morning walk and evening strolls... plays in the park, a skating rink are added attractions.

Been here many times and enjoyed the lake view walk with my family; a very good place to have summer party or social gatherings. There is a open air movie theater which shows movies during summer nights.

Has a little bit of everything. There are plays in the park, a nice lake with a path around it and benches. There are pits for Barbarque, couple of B Ball courts, swings and a bike/walking trail. There is also tennis courts, ice skating in Winter and roller skating in summer.

Enrolled my 11 year old son in skating lessons this past winter. Price is excellent - skates included in lesson - plus get to practice at the rink for free with free skates rental several times during the winter season. Instructors are very good - my son definitely improved and enjoyed the lessons - this is a must do for your children who don't know how to skate - or at least not very well. It also got me and my husband to the rink several times for winter fun with our son and his friends - a win-win!

We visited this park twice during our visit. It has a very nice, well kept playground that the kids loved. There were a lot of different things for them to play on, and it was nicely shaded. Great place to let the kids run around and tire themselves out.

Plays in the park are the best thing about this park. Nice lake to walk around but be careful of the goose poop!

I have gone since my doughter was born. Every time of the year is a great place to walk, excercise and let the kids ride the bick. This year they renew the playground. Family friendly. LOVE IT!

I started visiting this park in 2015. Quite honestly, I knew nothing about it until a neighbor told me about it. Since then, my wife and I have been there 4 or 5 times. Each time we have brought our dog. It's a big park with walking areas around the lake with many benches to sit awhile. There are people fishing, playing tennis, basketball and picnicing. There's a skate park for roller skating during warmer months and ice skating in the winter months. We like to walk mostly and sit a bit and people watch. All in all, this is a great place to spend time outdoors whether you enjoy summer or winter weather. Every June, my son, daughter in law and 3 grandson's come up from South Carolina to visit for a week. We are looking forward to spending some time at Roosevelt Park with them during their visit.

The park is good for walking and trout fishing during state stocking in April. There is plenty of shore access and a large board walk with seating. The park is well kept including the bathrooms thanks to the park crew.

This is one of my favorite parks to do my walks or just sit by the beautiful pond. The walking paths are filled with activities. A real plus is that it’s walking distance from Menlo Park mall. If you’re in the Edison area do check it out.

Love this park. Superb and peaceful. Nice tennis courts. In winter they have ice skating rinks. Very peaceful walking trails. Overall a great place to walk and play with kids.

I go here a lot of times on my lunch, just to get away from it all. There are many sections of this park, little kids, older kids, couples. Any place you decide you will enjoy it.

Many things to do. A lake for fishing, a level playing field for sports. Roller skating in the summer, ice skating in the winter. Many walking paths. Picnic areas.

Every year there are great plays put on. The cost is $7 and $5 for seniors. This year we saw Sister Act and South Pacific. If you get a chance give it a try. I`ve seen plays as good here as on Broadway!

Roosevelt park is a great place to run, jog, play basketball or engage in other fun activities. I go here often on a nice sunny day to walk around the lake or sit on a bench for some fresh air.

Excellent Place for kids and also adults if they want to try out Ice skating
If you do not have skates don't worry you can hire them here
Go Covered as it would be quite cold but you would sure enjoy the Rink
To keep you warm you have a Eatery inside where you can buy u some good food

They have 2 dog runs . 50lbs. over and under . Tennis courts , baseball fields , play ground Raritan river boat launch a small lake . I enjoy it and go 2-3 times a week.

Roosevelt Park is the oldest park in the Middlesex County Park System, dating back to 1917. Here park visitors can enjoy 217 acres of majestic trees complimented by a picturesque eight acre lake just perfect for fishing. Roosevelt Park offers a multitude of special facilities to make it a perfect destination for day trippers.

This park is huge! Ive been to Menlo mall a bunch of times and had no idea it existed! Went yesterday on a beautiful day to play some tennis. Courts were quiet and we'll maintained. Then walked a bit until we drove to the lake which was so pretty and walked around a bit. Definitely a great spot that's a go-to

This park has amazing trails and hills. There are a lot of extracurricular activities to do here as well. Picnics, many barbecue locations, basketball courts, tennis, ice skating(winter months), & roller skating (summer months). They even have a cool Veteran's Memorial and outdoor Plays in the Park.

I'm at this park about 20 times a year because it's close-by and a great place to walk, roller blade, fish, and more. It offers ice skating in a nice-sized rink during colder months and roller skating in warmer months for a nominal fee. You can spot birds on the lake, and going twice around the lake is a one-mile leisurely walk. During spring, the variety of trees is outstanding, as is the color. Kids like chasing the geese over the lawn areas and it's a good place to take them. There are other short walks within the park, plus a picnic ground complete with tables, benches and a fireplace at some of the sites to make an old-fashioned hot dog roast, etc. Bathrooms are available. The park is free of charge and there's lots of parking available in one main parking lot and also in the lake area.

Roosevelt Park is a great place to spend a few pleasant hours. There are lots of activities including ice skating in the winter and tennis in the summer plus a beautiful lake to stroll around. There are sited for cookouts and lots of quiet places to relax.

I visited Roosevelt Park several times fishing. The first time I was there I caught a channel catfish.
The second that I was there I caught a white bass.
I like fishing there even though I don't always catch fish there. It's located in Roosevelt Park Edison, NJ off of Hughes Route 1 north.
It's a family Park. I just go fishing there.

This gem of a park is located in Edison New Jersey. Nice well groomed park with lots of different types of memorials all around. Plays in the Park is located here also.

We grew up in Metuchen and spent many hours at Roosevelt Park. Its very easy to get to. A nice surprise was the new (to me) Veteran's Memorial, which included Merchant Marines...., especially poignant for my sister and i, as our father was in that branch. The park is also close to Menlo Park Mall. There's a beautiful lake as well and nice waking trails. Lovely visit back to childhood!

Been going here for 60 years. Clean, nice play area for kids. Lake with seats to people watch or read. Always a pleasure

We love the plays in the park, ice skating, roller skating, basketball courts. It is very peaceful and quiet.

I've driving through this park numerous times in the 30+ years that I've lived in Middlesex County. The landscape is beautiful. Picnic areas are great, fields amazng and the lake is so nice!!!!! In the summer they have plays in the park.
A must visit!!

This review is only for Plays in the Park (I have not really visited any other part of Roosevelt Park). PIP has an amphitheatre under the stars that seats at least several hundred persons. Ticket sales opens at 5:30pm for an 8:00 show. Seat location is first come first served so most people get there early to get good seat locations. You bring your own chairs (you can also pay extra to use one of their chairs), buy your tickets and put your chairs where you want to sit, and leave for dinner and come back right before show time. There is a nice incline so most of the time, you will have a good view of the stage. The shows are "classics" so you know the scripts are good. The stage is Broadway quality and amazingly enough, oftentimes the cast is also Broadway quality!! I have seen MANY very high quality shows here over the years. And maybe best of all, seats are only $7 ($5 for seniors).

The storm passed leaving behind a wonderful day for an outdoor play. Middlesex County in NJ offers several amphitheater style play in the park. “Beautiful” which is a tribute to Carol King provided inspiration about her lifelong career as a songwriter and singer 👩🎤. The cast was memorable and noteworthy because of the singing and dancing 💃. Great night out .

We visit Roosevelt Park a lot to either walk around the lake or sit on their gorgeous grass area & enjoy the sun. The Park has a nice Lake for fishing, several picnic areas with grills, basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, ice/rolling skating rink, walking trails, exercise routine route area around the lake and walking trails, restrooms & gorgeous grass area for playing or sitting area, etc. Great place to relax and get away from it all.

Lovely place in central Jersey to spend an evening with family. Very clean and tidily kept park. Lots of benches to sit and pathways and trails to walk around

Great place to take short hikes, Park is always very clean and it is easy to get to. Highly recommend Roosevelt Park !!

One of the best park you can visit in the central jersey area. Has every thing from basketball courts, skating rings, tennis court. You need to have a permit if you are doing a group picnic, which you can get it from the park website. Overall a nice hangout place.

Plays The Park in the summer. Ice skating rink in winter and roller skating in spring/summer is cheap but good.

Nice clean park to enjoy when the weather is nice outside. Fountain is popular place and good for people watching, play area for kids is also real nice. Lake with seats to read and relax is also a very nice area.

It’s a great place to unwind, go for a walk orund the pond, a picnic with friends or a swow at the outdoor theater.
For active individuals enjoy the basketball courts, tennis, rollerblading or ice skating in the winter.

This park is huge and has a lot of walking, picnic and sitting space. The water front is also a big attraction and can get pretty crowded in summer evenings. Nice neighborhood park.

This is a fun, activity filled park. We grilled out on one outing , we picnicked on one outing and enjoyed walking. The kids enjoyed the theater in the park. You won't regret visiting this park.

It's a lovely park with tall trees, open areas and a stream running through. It's great for a walk, meditation, yoga and enjoying nature. Since it's conveniently located close to residential areas I go there often to enjoy the peaceful ambience.

I have lived in Edison for about 8 years now, and this is the best park in Edison, New Jersey. It is great for walking or jogging around the pond, has tennis courts, basketball courts, great park for the kids, and ice skating in the winter. Also great for biking, BBQs or picnics. You will even get a peek of wedding photos being taken every once in a while. Great peaceful scene!

Huge park with several good-sized picnic grounds and great local hiking. Also has a seasonal outdoor theater with low prices. Large lake is scenic but not for boating or swimming.

Roosevelt Park is located very close to Menlo Park Mall in Edison NJ, actually just behind it. Has a nice little lake with a paved path to walk around it entirety. Tennis Courts, Basketball courts, Baseball Diamonds, Plays in the Park and soo much more. It also has one of the few flat leveled padded areas for wheelchair bound individuals to play outdoors.

This is a large man made pond, with a paved walk way all the way around. Plenty of parking. Getting in is a bit tricky, finding your way is a one way circle.

I have taken my toddler here to ride bikes. It has nice trails and lovely spots with grills for cook outs. Also admission to the park is free. Has nice play areas for kids.

Roosevelt Park is a welcome oasis in a busy section of town. It is close to Target, Menlo Park Mall, JFK Medical Center and many more businesses, However, when in the Park it is serene and full of possibilities. Within the Park there is a school for special needs children that allows the opportunity for the public to use the ice skating rink in the winter. There are streams that run throughout the Park where you can explore for small "wild life". There is also a large pond for fishing , jogging or walking around or just quietly sitting around reading or people watching. You can have a picnic or cookout. There is a covered area for shade or protection from rain is available. You can walk, jog or ride your bicycle around the many paths and during the summer, enjoy a "Play in the Park". Basketball and tennis courts are also ready for your use. Roosevelt Park is well maintained and easy to get to. I have been going there since I was a child, then our children and now our grandchildren continue to enjoy it.

Go to the plays in the park every summer, just beautiful. The grounds are very well kept. They have a war memorial area, must visit. Also the fountain is a popular sight to see. Very interesting.

Stopped in here for a break from driving. Had a lovely walk around the different areas of the park. It was difficult to find a map so we could see where we were and if there was a circuit back to where we had park.
A lovely place to get some fresh air and have a walk.

this is very good park for walking. i wish they would post to inform how much one round in miles. we generally take 3 rounds around the lake in the evening.

I visited Roosevelt park quite by accident while walking towards the Menlo park mall and I must say that this is the nicest park that I have yet seen in New Jersey. What I especially like about it is you can have a quiet moment there without being disturbed by passers-by or noisy chatter.

There is a lot to do in this park. They have a walking trail, a playground, fresh spring water, basketball court, outdoor plays in the park, bar b q areas which I see a lot of people have big affairs , man made pond to walk around the track. tennis courts, and ice skating rink in the Winter. People from all over come to this park there is so much to do.

They've got lots of events going on there and plenty of tennis courts. This park is kept clean and is safe.

A popular spot at Roosevelt Park is the walking path around the pond. On any given day, you'll see young runners, older walkers, and even multiple generations of a family making their way around the pond. There are also walking paths that take you through some of the picnic groves, where people can relax and barbecue while the kids use the playground. During the winter there is an ice skating rink and during the warmer months, there is "Plays in the Park." For over 50 years theater goers have been bringing their lawn chairs to watch Broadway musicals under the stars. (There is a fee for Plays in the Park. Tickets are sold on the day of performance only. )

The park is beautiful all year round, walk the trails, bathe in the sun. enjoy a little tranquility in the midst of Menlo Park Mall.

Great place to walk or jog around the lake & in the hilly sections
Plays In the Park in the summer months is also a great way to see Broadway shows inexpensively

It's such a beautiful public place.
I really wish township pay more attention to develop this place better.
After paying such a high property tax in Edison, we deserve the better use of part of our tax money in the places like this.
Hopefully someone will come forward and develop this place in a better way.

Overall people are very friendly, and it is a great place to fresh water fish. There are many places just to sit down and watch the beautiful people walk their children and pets. Very clean and plenty of parking.

Awesome park that's been around for ages...and it's huge. Great place for picnic and BBQ and parties. Great pond to walk around. They have awesome shows in the summer time as well.

This park is absolutely beautiful. it has a very nice track for walking and a large lake.
i am a regular visitor to this park and just love to walk around this place.
there is a very nice kids play area and biking track.

Beautiful, well kept park and it's right down the street from me. Lots of people using it to the fullest for walking, tennis, basketball, several areas for kiddie play, picnic and bbq and today I learned that every other Sunday from 3 - 6 there are musicians under the gazebo playing guitars and harmonicas and ukuleles. You can reserve picnic areas for large parties and can also fish in the lake. I've seen sporadic yoga groups and other group exercise classes - not sure how to find out about them though. I'm so happy to live so near to this haven in home town. On the down side, it can get a bit noisy....but it's sounds of people having fun so it's always bearable. I'm sure there are quite areas on the other side of the lake to sit and read a book or as I have seen....paint a picture. OH I almost forgot. I've gone to all three plays in the park the nine years I've lived here. They are one of my summer treats. I have learned the tricks to other negative comments about them in other reviews but that's my secret. LOL. If they were so bad would the parking lot be so jammed? Go to a play in the city and see what a hassle that is. Just go. You'll enjoy.

A nice family friendly park which has trails in the wooded areas, man made lake, kids play areas, picnic benches & BBQ pits. Not to forget it has skating rink for summer & ice skating for winter.

I have been visiting this Park for about 30 Years. My Son and I walk around the Lake, which has a Resident Cormorant, occassional Egret, some Turtles and lots of Fish. I have also utilized the Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts. I have had Picnics here, and held Parties at the Shelter by the Kiddie Keep Well Camp. My Son has also participated in Buddy Ball Soccer here at the excellent "Level Playing Fields".

I come here to walk often, at least 5 times a month. It's very serene and a great place to relax. The trees are so green and its especially nice in the spring time. It's very big so you can get lost but once you know your way around its awesome.

We walk the park often during the spring/summer/fall. Very popular for trout fishing as the pond is stocked by NJ fish and game. In the winter, there roller rink becomes an ice skating rink and the prices to skate are reasonable. Menlo park mall is less then a 1/4 mile up the road.

This extensive Park is next to Menlo Park Mall. There are walking paths, parking lots, basketball and Tennis Courts, a lake, theatrical events during the summer and other events throughout the year. Take a stroll and relax. A lovely spot.

This is a great "small" park in the very heart of Edison, centrally located and easily commutable. It's beautiful all year round. Lots of huge green trees in summer and pretty fall colors in autumn. There are quite a few short trails for quick easy trekking. The park has a lot of picnic areas. Some need to be reserved while some are fire-come-first-served type of locations. There is a small man made lake in the park with a walking track around it. A few kids play areas are great for parents to take a breather.

We used to visit this park in late 90s when we were living in Iselin. When we visited a few weeks ago, we were delighted to see the park so much improved with facilities and upkeep. There are spots for picnics, playing, place for artists to perform and everything a good community park should have. Felt very nice to be here.

This park was built during the Great depression, and has been a great place to chill out anytime. Adjacent to Menlo Park Mall, it allows you to enjoy nature. You can always enjoy the Plays in the Park in the Summer.

Visited the Roosevelt Park with my family in the evening on 16th July, 2017. We went for a walk around the lake and sat on the benches overlooking the lake. It is a very beautiful place full of greenery. The area is very clean. The sight of the lake with the ducks swimming in them is so very relaxing. Although there is a board prohibiting visitors from feeding the ducks, it is not being enforced, because we saw a number of people feeding the ducks. The only sore point was the moss in the water which spoils the show.

Roosevelt Park is a great family park - playing fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, skating rink, trails for walking and biking, picnic groves, and a outdoor theatre for plays in the Summer. The are also music concerts.
The focal point of the park is park lake which is a great place for an afternoon stroll. You can also go fishing in the lake.
This is a wonderful community asset.

We take my granddaughter to the park as often as we can on nice days -- she loves the swings, and the ducks/geese. It is very relaxing to take her in her stroller around the lake.

I have been going to this park for the last 50 years. It is easy to get to, and has had quite a facelift in recent years. The lake area is one of the best you will find in any park. There are numerous picnic areas, and the ones near the lake are very scenic. There are several play areas for the kids, which have also been upgraded in recent years. They also have free plays in the park all summer long.

This is a beautiful park well maintained with having one enclosure for animals and birds. Speciality of this park is human friendly animals who accompany you if you walk around their enclosure. Speciality of the park is white peacock which many of the people might never have seen. The air is so fresh and environment so beautiful that you would like to stay there for hours and hours. The Government feeds all of these Birds & animals and protect them from harsh weather in winters.

My friend took me to this park in the morning and it was a pleasant sight to find lot of morning walkers. We completed our quota of morning walk and then found garden gym apparatus very helpful for a good workout. One gentleman was very kind enough to guide me on using the platform for abs! The water body makes the park really attractive. A must visit on a daily basis, if possible.

This is one good park in Edison area. Very close to Menlo Park mall. Always crowded but def'ly good if you haven't visited.

This is an awesome huge local park that's been there obviously for ages...went when I was a little kid as well...great for picnics and huge family gatherings. Great for walking, hanging out, hiking, and they have shows their in the summer as well.

Something for everyone. You can't go wrong at this park. We ride our bikes here, roller blade here, we have attending plenty of picnics and BBQ's here.
Lots of parking, plenty of places to play all sports, they do have kids are. They have grills all over.

Visiting from out of state and a friend took me there on Sunday afternoon. What a lovely place we used to visit as kids. They really did an excellent job of making this a great place to just rest, read a book, walk, fish or do nothing...

Roosevelt Park is a great place to bike, walk ,picnic It has rolling hills and well paved asphalt paths to walk, places you can go "off-road" with the dogs or a mountain bike. There is a goose pond and little grills to reserve a grove you need to call Middlesex County Parks at 732-745-3900. Sometimes you see deer at the edges of deep underbrush. The swing sets and playground are well maintained. there are real bathrooms near most of the playgrounds and they're pretty well maintained but sometimes there's no TP. Right now they're re-doing the tennis courts by Woodbridge Avenue.

Good for a walk around the lake and the plays in the park are nice I am not a skater but from what I see there is a nice rink. The flat playground is great for handicapped kids but to tell the truth I never seen antone use it.

Its a lovely park, lots of free parking, a pretty lake, places to sit and relax or exercise with a brisk walk around the lake. But the real treasure is the Plays in the Park. Live theater, live music, fabulous entertainment, always an excellent variety of shows each summer season. Introduced my grand-kids to live theater at these shows! The price can't be beat - its not relatively inexpensive, its VERY inexpensive... just bring your own lawn chairs and sit down to be HIGHLY entertained.

Family friendly place for all the activities. sit out and just enjoy the nature. walking, biking, playing .. anything you ask for.

It has a fun playground with a tree lots of kids like to climb. You can bike around the lake and onto the little island in the middle of the park. There is also a skating rink in the beginning. That is sometimes wet. There is also a hiking trail on the mountain. There is a pokemon gym and lots of poke stops too.

This is a awesome park, with Facilities:
• Level Playing Fields
• Family Skating Rink
• 7 Tennis courts (lights)
• 4 Basketball Courts
• 1 Softball Field
• 6 Reservable Picnic Groves
• 1 Open Picnic Grove
• 3 Playgrounds

• Kiddie Keep Well Camp

Gorgeously kept lawns and trees, trails for walking, deer in the evenings, plays in the park in summer.

I go to this park almost twice a day every day with my puppy Max. This is one of the best & clean park in the neighborhood. Every morning I see more then 4 park staff cleaning

Its massive with alot of different section but thats it. Nothing about this park interests me compared to the rest around the area. Others are smaller but have more to offer and draws more crowd. Only good thing about this park is the ice rink but that is in winter

A nice park for a picnic or a walk - they also have tennis courts etc. I used to live near this park and over theyears it has gotten more user friendly.

My husband and i wanted to take advantage of the weather while both off from work. We had a very nice picnic at the first set of picnic tables (i forget which grove) by the parking lot next to the big playsets. Even though the park was crowded there was still plenty of parking and benches to eat. They offer grills too, but we just brought sandwiches. There's also picnic tables all throughout the park in even more secluded areas. We walked a bunch and found a very serene spot where there's a natural spring. Next time I go I'm bringing a beach chair and a book and sitting quietly by the spring. It's a pretty secluded area. There's a few different play sets spread throughout the huge park. We also walked around a large pond stocked with fish. All in all a great - fun - FREE day enjoying the weather. They also have a rollerskating rink that turns into ice for winter, basketball courts, tennis courts and a trail that offers working out stations. I also plan on taking advantage of the movies in the park offered during the summer. This would be good for beginner mountain bikers as well.

I was holding a get together for a group of teens and needed space where we could organize game play and be able to have the space for over 20 people. We did have to arrange with the park and pay a small fee to reserve an area that suited our needs. The park is all kept clean of debris and lawns are manicured / mowed. The bathrooms were clean and trash was emptied and there paper towels and toilet paper available. They provide a grill for charcoal grilling and as many picnic tables you need for your group. There are picnic groves throughout the park with playgrounds nearby and the track around the Lake is well maintained. For the fee paid this is best way to go if you don’t have your own yard space.

We have been coming here for years and years and always love this beautiful park.So many trees and live plays in the park in the summertime and swings and seesaws and slidingpons for the kids.Loads of trees and peacefulness. They have a large pond with ducks and this is where I first learned how to drive when I was 16.I love this park and it holds a special place in my heart.

We always enjoy a walk around the lake even in winter. The trees are so green and its especially nice in the spring time.

I stumbled upon this park over the summer and it's been a great place to go for a run in the evening or morning. The area around the pond is a great view. I have seen people come for wedding, maternity, and engagement pics.

For over 50 years this Middlesex County has been producing plays & musicals. Lots of talent out there!
