I have to disagree on seating at this venue. Yes, theater is very nice but if your seats are not in the center, your experience will be less than desirable. We were in sec 106, row S, last 2 seats to the right side of row. Everything from mid stage to the right (facing the stage) was not visible to us so we did not see more than half prior to intermission. The sound was terrible as well. Fortunately, there were vacant seats in the back closer to center. Thank goodness because even the sound was a 100% improvement. Will not visit this theater again. Il Volo was at the Chicago Theater last year and that concert was wonderful!!

We enjoyed our afternoon at the cinema it was like being at home in the lazyboy with an incredibly large screen and surround sound. It was the middle of the week when we visited. it was practically empty. food was great, a little pricey but worth it.

This theatre sets itself above most in that the sound system and visual acuity offers a great experience.

We came to see Disney Jr. Live and it was a great experience. I would suggest valet parking because it is so much easier to get out and much closer to the door. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the experience here.

It's nice to have a place like this that must be deemed more "affordable" for shows to put on performances in the suburbs. However, it needs to be updated or replaced with something more current. The sound could be a lot better for concerts. The balcony seats are rather far away. For the concert we saw, the audio for the performers was an issue as well as they repeatedly took out their ear pieces. The bathrooms are clean and there are some hidden off to the far sides of the theatre if you find lines in the more central areas. The parking is expensive at $20. Makes you wonder if you could park across the street for free at the new Fashion Outlets of Chicago as long as you leave before the stores close at 9pm.

We went here to take my young grandson to Disney's Live on Tour - Princesses & Pirates show. The theater itself is nicely done. Seating is comfortable and there don't appear to be any blocked seats. There are adequate bathrooms and elevators. For the amount of patrons, the parking lot does seem to be adequate and at today's show, the parking fee was $13.00. The biggest drawback is the traffic going in to and out of the parking lots. Even though Rosemont public safety officers are at a lot of traffic chokepoints, traffic still gets clogged. Leave yourself enough time to get in and then, sit back and enjoy the show. Then relax when you leave to your car and from the lot.

having attended 19 of his concerts, this was his best ever! He did 2 complete sets and had a good comedian in between also, for the very first time in memory, he had an encore of 3 songs. He performed 3 songs! this was a major treat! At 79, his voice is amazing and better than it was in 1962!!!

This theater has a nice layout and it used to be great. It need some serious touching loving care. The place is ran Rosemont style (if you know what I mean). Parking is steep. If you organize events here be prepared for all kinds of surprises. Because of the Rosemont style and of the unions, this place becomes prohibitive.

Saw the Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker with family and had a good time. Theater is smaller than the Chicago downtown ones, which actually allows you to be closer to the stage. Lobby is very spacious and nicely decorated. Did not have an issue with parking and planned for the traffic. Cost of shows is similar to downtown as well as parking ($20). Nice option to see shows if you don't want to travel into Chicago.

We got to the theatre well before curtain call. After parking in the lot we waited in the car for over an hour as guests were not allowed into the building foyer until 30 minutes prior to showtime. I agree with others that parking at this venue could be a problem and $20 to park in their lot is a little steep. Since we were second in line for parking, it wasn't an issue for us, however if you arrive just before a performance is to begin, it's your own fault for having parking issues; early bird gets the worm so to speak, or best parking! We attended the Saturday 8:00 pm performance of Riverdance, it was very enjoyable and we were able to exit the parking lot after the performance with no problem. I did notice there weren't any parking attendants on site to assist with directing out of their lot. The way the theatre is laid out it doesn't appear there are "bad" seats in the house. Can't comment on the concession service during intermission.

My favorite theater venue by a mile . its modern sound system is to die for and the valet parking is hassle free . I think this is a great theratre venue . was talking to the manager of Madison Square Garden recently and we were discussing the Rosemont as a excellent venue with state of the art acoustics

This was a horrible experience from the very beginning. Saw a show that wasn’t even sold out and the parking lot was a disaster. No one directing traffic and almost impossible to find a parking spot. We finally got inside and the concession lines were 30 minutes long. They were out of wine and the credit card machine was out of service. Rosemont should be embarrassed. For what they charge at this place they could afford to provide better service. This is the last time they get our entertainment dollars. It’s a shame too, because it’s a nice looking theatre

By red7bird |

If you are visiting Chicago, or live here as I do -- spend your money on something else! They hype this show to be so fabulous and it doesn't even come close. The costumes were colorful and flowing but there aren't dancers leaping through the air and all the magical beauty they promise in the commercials. The Rosemont Theater is a great venue but this production is Mediocre at best.

By LifeAsMummyPeanut |

Parking is large and easy in and out but expensive at $25 for the length of the show (although it is average for chicago). Food inside is also pricey soft drinks and popcorn at $6 each. Lemonades at $17. The theatre is lovely and well maintained, so are the bathrooms.

Some people just park right across the street Fashion Outlets which has free parking.

We went to see Frankie Valle and the 4 seasons. I reserved 3 seats 1 on an isle. Well we get there and it isn’t an isle at all, but a wall. We were the last row against a wall. We were in a corner which was HOT, claustrophobic and miserable that we couldn’t enjoy the show. The seats we had 112 row HH 1,2,3 should never be sold. I am so disappointed in this venue I WILL NEVER be back and will not recommend this venue.

By tabcatt238 |

I didn’t enjoy the show we went to see, but the theater was very close to everything, so it was nice and convenient.

The Rosemont Theater uses excellent sound and lighting systems and provides comfortable seating by theater seating standards. (This is not your dine in Movie theater with reclining seats though). The security is most excellent and the design of the theater allows for every seat to be a good one and for the feel of the theater to be on a more intimate scale.

Purchased tickets to see Shen Yun at the Rosemont. Have never been to this venue which is located close to O'hare Airport. I was pleasantly surprised at its convenient location near the freeway with a huge parking area. Decided to use valet parking and the attendants were friendly and professional. The theater is nicely laid out and nicely decorated. Entrances to your seats are in a semi-circle in the lobby as well as the balcony level. The lobby with stairs going up to the balcony reminded me of the scene from the "Titanic" with its sweeping staircase and a humongous chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Refreshments were available on both levels as well as courtesy booths and a shop to purchase souvenirs. Restrooms conveniently located also. The ushers were professional and helpful and the layout gives a good view of the stage no matter where you are seated. All in all, this is a beautiful venue that is user friendly and tastefully appointed. Oh, by the way, Shen Yun was a magical performance and well worth the ticket price and my travel time.

First once in the theatre and seated, The Riverdance show and production was 4 Star!

To bad we missed the first 10 minutes of this show since parking was a train wreck. Are show started at 2pm we got in line for parking in the area at 105. Walked into show at 215 this is pathetic. If you have tickets get there at least 2 hours early. This needs to be fixed!!!!

By Kathy6022 |

As a frequent visitor to theatres and concerts, I was quite appalled at the difficulties in getting to the Rosemont Theatre. They have done little to help with traffic patterns and moving traffic in a quick and efficient manner. The traffic stops on the highway, and we sat for over 90 minutes attempting to get into the parking lot. After spending a small fortune on tickets, we missed a big part if the show along with many others. On top of that, it costs $25 to park the car. If you must go to this theatre, plan on arriving a minimum if 2-3 hours early. We planned an extra hour for arrival and still missed the show. In talking to police officers our experience was a common occurrence.

Went with my daughters to see their favorite k-pop group. Very nice theatre, my daughters commented on how much they liked the decor.

Great environment for the Ozuna concert, nice two level theater for concerts and other performances.

Spent an hour on the last mile of this trip due to traffic just not moving. Sorry, valet parking full. Loved this venue in the past but traffic and parking have become a nightmare. Tickets went unused and just headed back home. Won't be going back.

1st time at the Rosemont Theater. Doors were open early (we were glad because it started to snow- the end of April) We went for a concert, we were very pleased that the lighting was good, attendants in sights were helping everyone to find their seats or bathrooms. The sound and lighting was outstanding. We had good view not the best but 2 large screens -that gave us a close up of our artist. If somebody stood up blocking the view of others, the attendants immediately and politely ask them to go back to their seat. We saw the bar open but the lines were very long so we skipped getting a drink. During the concert we saw guys from the bar offering drinks while the concert was going on. Since we lodged across the street from the Theater, we didn't have to be in the parking lot mess. It was a chaos trying to get out that parking lot. They should have a better way out or police guiding traffic out. Overall experience was very good.

Great venue. Decor is classy and bright - beautiful! Parking, while expensive at $25 was easy in and out. Arrived at 7:30 for an 8 pm show. Sound and lights perfect. Side section seats are all instructed views due to curtains and speakers but you see a little. If there are empty seats better located they don’t mind you moving to see better once show is underway. Great fun place.

By Jason S |

Great Theatre. Friendly Staff. Traffic is a NIGHTMARE. Getting to a show 60 minutes beforehand, and missing the first 30 minutes because, while there were police present, they were doing nothing to help, and in a couple of places actively making the traffic worse. The cops were rude and snotty when asked simple questions. We will likely think twice before seeing a show here. For the same cost and better experience, with traffic, with parking, with better food options, you can go see a show downtown.

We will think very hard before we come back here again. And it is not the theatre's fault.

Fabulous....Muvico theatre is unbelievable. Love the reserved seating. Bogart's restaurant and bar are located there. Will return when back in Chicago.

By Mickayla R |

I've been to this theater twice now (and will be visiting it again this week) for concerts for some of my favorite bands and there honestly isn't a bad seat in the house. It's got great acoustics, really nice decor and comfortable seating. I would recommend this venue for anyone considering a show there.

Saw Get The Led Out. Great concert, good venue. Heard traffic is a nightmare in the entire area, so we stayed at Aloft Hotel. Walked there in about 6-7 mins. Bathrooms not bad.

By Surashakta |

I love the atmosphere of the Rosemont Theatre for KPOP Concerts! The majority of seats give a good view. I also like that if my daughter and I cannot buy seats next to each other we're never too far apart so that I can always keep an eye on her.

By LisaJSM |

Saw Juanes here. As a smaller venue, it appeared that every seat was a good seat (unlike some of the bigger arenas). The lobby is open and pretty (but the auditorium decor is kind of 1980's). The staff were very friendly. Concessions had a variety of options (including beer, wine, or select mixed drinks).

By PHoyle1966 |

Have been to this venue on several occasion and never thought to leave a review till now. There isn't a bad seat, even the nose bleed seats that I had years ago were great.

By Lynn |

Went to see Mannheim steamroller and it was wonderful. Should have had vendors on each floor. More ushers would have been good as it was difficult for people to find their seats if they arrived a little late.

By Bill V |

Awesome venue for concert goers! First row balcony is the best seat in the house. Security needs to check out people standing in front of others while concert is going on. A simple flash of the flashlight will do the trick.

My three daughters and I went to see Ina Garten, she was fabulous!
The lobby was very nice with a beautiful chandelier. Ina's signed books were available for sale in the lobby with plenty of cashiers on hand.
They had security there and they were nice and visible. Chicago is a pretty scary place to go with all of the homicides.
We sat in the balcony in the middle and the view was pretty good. The seats were comfortable with leg room and cup holder. No concessions upstairs, so my daughters had to go downstairs to get their snacks. They didn't take their ticket with them and we're told by the lady usher they weren't very "swift". She leaned over us several times trying to point people in the direction of their seat. She was just .....not very nice....a bit of a snob.
This was a special trip for us and the usher was definitely the thorn of our night of fun.
I had to leave my seat because I wasn't feeling well. I was sure I would miss the best parts of Ina, but the theater had speakers in the outside foyer and restrooms so you could continue to hear the interview going on stage. How nice was that?

I brought my grandson to see a Wild Kratts Live performance last night. The show itself was great, but the theater’s parking situation was bad enough to negate any post-show good will. $25 to get into the lot, and apparently no other option is available, so they have you over a barrel. After the show, we sat in the car for 45 minutes before someone allowed us to inch into the exit line. No one was directing traffic and the street lights didn’t sync, so even after finally getting out of the lot, you still had to sit ( isn’t everything in Rosemont owned/controlled by one family? Seems like they could do better ). What a nightmare- we’ll avoid this venue from now on unless we can get creative on how to park.

By JosephPvt |

The traffic pattern around this theater is the worst resulting in every one arriving late for events. Even with police directing there was total gridlock.

By L j |

This production of the Nutcracker was lots of fun, wonderful sets, great staging and costuming. Not to mention the Moscow Ballet company! Drinks of any kind are ridiculously expensive, so go prepared. Good sitelines and accoustics. Parking garage directly behind the theatre with a mall to entertain yourself if you have a wait. Lots of restaurants across the street. A busy area.

By h3ro_me |

My friend and I traveled all the way here for a concert. The lobby area is really beautiful with the giant chandelier hanging from the ceiling, with beautiful staircases. The place is not that big, but I don't mind it, closer to the show vs. big arenas. I've been here a few times for concerts and I really enjoyed them.

I have been to the Rosemont Theatre for concerts, plays and most recently, my own graduation ceremony! It's a beautiful facility, and I have yet to find a really bad seat. Although, as with any theatre, seats towards the middle of the house are better. The parking can be very tight, and expensive. While there are options around the theatre, all of them can cost money unless you are in the know. For example - a friend has parked in the garage for the discount mall for free. It's relatively close by, however depending on when your event is, there may not be any spots. Also, when you leave you will get wrapped up in the same traffic leaving the theatre. Here is what I like to do - across the street is MB Financial Park that has a number of very good restaurants. Usually, when I go the Rosemont, dinner or at least a drink or two is had before or after our visit, so I park in the MB Financial Park garage, have your parking validated by the restaurant you visit so it's free (don't forget or you have to pay!), and then walk across the street to the theatre. When you leave, avoid all the traffic from the theatre by turning right out of the garage onto Balmoral.

(1) Attending an Il Divo concert there this week, I was VERY disappointed the facility allowed use of cameras. Hundreds throughout the audience had their cell phones lit up constantly filming videos. It was distracting and RUDE. (2) don't sit in section 201-202, or 209-210. You can see barely 25% of the stage from these seats. (3) The sound is MUCH BETTER on main floor than balcony level, where I was sitting. I listened to the last 3-4 songs on the main floor and couldn't believe the difference in the sound.

By Stephanie N |

The show was fantastic! It’s beautifully decorated on the inside. Parking and traffic was a nightmare, though. Not sure if it was the local law enforcement or another company directing traffic in to the venue, but they did an extremely poor job letting cars enter to the parking lot for the actual venue. The parking lot had plenty of open spaces but whoever was directing traffic wouldn’t let multiple cars in the parking lot - even after telling them you’re there for the show. Directing us to a paying garage instead of the lower cost/free parking for the actual theater. Very disappointed in that decision.

By Geroge F |

Went to the Rosemont Theatre to see Il Divo in concert, a gift to my wife for Christmas last year. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel which was located right across the street from the Theatre so we simply walked over and avoided any parking issues.

A beautiful theatre with a large amply lobby, comfortable seating. Very enjoyable event and evening.

We spent a lot of money for the Got7 concert and was thrilled to be there. Once the concert started, staff started walking the aisles & screaming at kids not to take pictures. Are you kidding me? Those tickets were expensive and being way in the back, all you'll have left are the photos. The staff members were yanking people out and when they returned, those people didn't look happy and wasn't enjoying the concert. How sad! These people were mostly young girls like my daughter. For this reason alone, I would never again go to the Rosemont Theatre, no matter who is going to be there! I really didn't like the way the staff members treated these young people.

My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to see ZZ Top this past weekend and the yahoo's at the bar had absolutely no idea what they were doing. It was two gentlemen on the mezzanine level on the right side of the theatre, towards the elevator. I had to use the restroom so she stood in line for us. Even after I had finished the line had only moved two feet. I soon realized why:. #1) The bar tenders had absolutely no sense of urgency. Both of them were incredibly lackadaisical. 2) None of them knew what their beer selection was so they had to stumble over to the beer cooler every five minutes to check. I don't know if these guys were new or very poorly trained, but they definitely need to be re-trained. This definitely tainted our experience right off the get go.. Other than that major issue, our seats on the balcony were great even though we were far away and the sound was exceptional. The venue was very well kept as well.

By royhard |

Paid over $500 for three seats. Terrible seating. All seats need to be replaced. Not enough servers between break to serve crowd. Stood in line for 20 minutes. Never was able to get drinks. Would NOT go back there again until renovated. Very disappointed in Theater!

By djohn76 |

EXCELLENT show!!! Great guys. Parking was $20. I think with the price of the tickets, parking should be FREE! What a scam. Millions were made just from tickets sold. Why not a break on parking? Not a happy customer.

Went to this theater for a graduation. It's spacious, sitting in the balcony afforded a great view, seats were reasonably comfortable, and sound was good. Overall, it's a nice venue, attractive, and easy to navigate. Not sure about the parking as we stayed at one of the nearby hotels that are in walking distance (which is great if you are coming from out of town to attend an event at the theater). The convention center is also walking distance away from the theater.

By Mamaw58 |

If you are attending any upcoming performances at this venue plan to allow at least a hour to sit in bumper to bumper traffic in order to park. We crawled along the Northbound exit off 294 on to Balmoral. The lights are not in sink and it is next to impossible to move traffic. The officers were on corners watching the traffic. This area around the Rosemont Theater cannot handle events at the theater, the lot is too small and there is no signage. The nearby office parking garage we were directed was difficult to get out of after the performance, actually scary the second floor of the parking garage the cars could not move out of their spaces for at least 30 minutes.

The Dancing with the Stars show was entertaining, but it is hard to see the stage from the 202 level seats.

As much as we loved the performance at the venue the parking really left us upset and doubt we would want to attend another event at the venue.

By Princerman |

We went to Mannheim Steamroller here. The acoustics are solid and the theatre is pretty comfortable and easy to get in and out of.

By lynnloveslife |

Loved the music, entertainment... I would like to commend the two lead vocalist... lovely!! The acrobats and left us holding our breaths! The Clown was super funny too! This theatre is one of a kind - I hope we dont loose it to another shopping mall!

I had forever heard about the amazing seating in this theater. I finally had the opportunity to check it out this past weekend.. My friends were right.. I was in the balcony, but my seats were amazing. The sights and sounds were as if I was right on stage..

Saw a fan meet here of a Korean Pop group called Shinee with my daughter. Interior is gorgeous. Acoustics outstanding and visibility from all seats pretty good.

Recently went to a Kpop concert at this venue. I have been here before for Kpop and other events. This time i was very upset. When entering the venue we were checked by security, wanded and then a security guard checked our purses. Have had this done many times but this guy was unreal. I had a very small purse. He literally grabbed my wallet out of my purse was holding it in his hand and pulling other things out of my purse. I was like what are you doing how dare you take my wallet out of my purse. I was to say the least pissed off. Also, they should have said no cameras. There were signs up that said no professional cameras. I had a small camera which i showed them when i went in ( so it was not hide in my purse) and was told no cameras so i had to take it back to the car. They had people going up and down the line while waiting to get in yelling no backpacks allowed but nothing about no cameras. And people were going in with backpacks!!!! Was really confused at the whole situation. The group I saw was amazing. The venue....needs to get there act together.

We have been here numerous times and the latest was May 3 to see Copeland and Paramore. The theater is well run, clean and efficient. It does not have the same ornate architecture as some other well-known theaters like The Vic, Riviera, etc. and this place is pretty much all seats as opposed to other places that are a combination of seats and an open floor for people to get close to the stage. The gray interior gives the place a bit of a prison cell block look and feel but overall it's a decent place to watch a show.

By BadgerBob67 |

We went for the O'reilly-Miller "Don't Be A Pinhead Tour", and had first row, Mezzanine seats, so even though we are both somewhat vertically challenged, we didn't have to look around a tall persons head in front of us. This is a large, several hundred seat (2-3000) venue, but once they turned up Dennis Miller's mike, the sound was clear, crisp, and sounded as if it were coming directly from the comic's mouth, not from speakers somewhere. Large concourses on each level offer beverages and snacks, and display cases showed off larges collections of Lladro statues, displaying scenes like Cinderella in the pumpkin carriage with horses and footmen, for example. The value of their collections shown may be in the hundreds of thousands..

By Larry L |

Last minute budget priced tickets for Seats in Section 201 Row F, Seats 1&2. Since everything was center stage and seeing the comedians' faces wasn't critical the seats were very good. Read earlier reviews lambasting Section 201 but Rows A thru F are ok. Acoustics were good - but it was a monologue so don't know how musical would be sound-wise.
As for the performance - all great. Opening comedian, Nick Hoff, was very good as was Larry the Cable Guy, and Foxworthy excellent.

By Annaline |

I love this place because it is nearby my house and there are several restaurants nearby to choose from for “apres cinema” party. But most of all: large free parking!!!!

By ReneeT52 |

I took my family to see a country concert (Lee Brice, Justin Moore, William Michael Morgan). We got balcony seats in the corner with hopes that the kids could still see, but wouldn't be in the middle of too much action. This theatre was perfect. It's small, so even the last row in the balcony was a good seat. Very cool theatre.

By BAPA1950 |

Took my wife to see this show. The show was great! We had great seats and the show was very high energy. Parking is convenient but expensive at $20.

By Dennis R |

It is very hard to have a bad seat at this venue. I was there for its' grand opening and there recently to see a comedian. And now it is even better as parking is not free instead of $20. If you want valet, it is $30.

By Izzy223 |

The parking lot and the directions for parking were overly crowded and there was no help. It took us an hour to find any parking. Once we get to our seats in the balcony 211 section the view was terrible. The left speakers blocked the left side of the stage and over half of the screen. When we purchased the overpriced tickets we were not informed of the obstructed view seats. Overall would not recommend sitting on the sides.

By Allen21096 |

I had purchased tickets for a birthday present to the Shatner show on Thursday, 20 Sep 18. We had gone to dinner next door at the Capital Grille, but when we left we noticed that as we were turning towards the parking lot of the Rosemont Theatre that there was only one car in the lot - at 6:45 p.m. We did find a sign on the window at the front entrance to the theatre advising that the show had been rescheduled to 8 Mar 2019, but what happened to any type of electronic notification. Even a Google search disclosed nothing about a cancellation. We haven't decided yet whether to use the tickets for something else.

Good security - check
Sufficient staff to get people in fast - check
Sound system - Good
Seating - UGH

We were thrilled to get the chance to see the last two Monkees - Mike and Mickey - and our first time seeing Mike.

Everything was great until the guy who was sitting in front of me showed up. The seats aren't staggered, and I spent the entire show looking around his head. UGH. Rosemont - all you have to do is stagger each row one half a seat - no problems. Nope - I was looking around a big head.

The venue itself is pretty good. We didn't hit the concession stand, and all the t-shirts and what not are on the far south end of the venue and were nutso pricing, so be ready for that if you want to buy a concert T-shirt. I have enough t-shirts without adding ones.

Another thing I didn't enjoy was the lighting - for some reason, they felt it was necessary to BEAM the audience in the face with several lights - they were strobing at a point where I was concerned it might cause someone to have a problem. Just too much - light the stage - not the audience.

The seats were comfortable (apart from the view).

I heard through the grapevine that the parking situation was a gong show, but thankfully for me I was on foot. I was there for a concert and was seated in the balcony on the far side. The 4000+ seat theatre is decently modern and seems to be in pretty good shape. However, the sound and sightline from there were pretty brutal. Fortunately, the show wasn't sold out so I moved closer to the middle and enjoyed the rest of the show. Moral of the story: If you're going, don't sit on the fringes!

By AJLIllinois |

The Rosemont is a very nice venue to see a show. We had seats in the lower balcony and had a great view-- parking was easy and the staff friendly

By Laura L |

It was nice and staff was there to help us find our seats parking was a little hectic but the staff handled it well.

By Jamie G |

First. Traffic was a nightmare. Once we got close to theater couldn’t park in the half empty lot next to theater. Had to park in a garage several blocks away and walk to theater with small children in the cold. Asked traffic officers why they weren’t parking people for the theater in the theater lot. No good answer.

Then once inside. Only 2 working concessions stands with 1 person working at each. Lines were horrible. Missed half the show waiting in line for something to drink.

Show itself was good. The rest of the experience was the worst. Will never see another show at venue again.

By AJLIllinois |

Does not seem to be a bad seat in the house. Staff is very easy to deal with and very helpful. Highly recommend seeing a performance here.

I purchased tickets for immediate family. My parents, especially my mom is handicapped and uses a walker. We were immediately greeted by a very nice woman as we entered who informed us that it would be about 20 minutes before they started scanning tickets, would we like a chair for my mom?

By the time we went through the doors, she had a chair there waiting for us. As lines formed for ticket processing, we were ushered to the front to get our tickets scanned so she wouldn’t have to stand.

To get to our seats in the first row of the upper section she had to climb six stairs. When we got to our seats, a very friendly usher named Sandy came up and took the walker and placed it in a safe place. She was so very nice and attentive. When she saw mom start to get up she was right there with her walker.

A great show, with exceptional and kind treatment from the theater staff. You made our evening!

I really like to attend events in this northwest suburb of Chicago but every time there is gut-wrenching traffic to park before the show.

I would give it a higher rating except for that traffic factor.

Part of it is due to the location, and part to very rude drivers who cut in, however......
- I know the Village of Rosemont has a lot of police - they could be better utilized in the period before a show
- Re-time the lights for those getting off of 190; it is scary to wait up there with 50+ MPH traffic whizzing by when you are trying to exit
- The light between the exit ramp and the first ramp on River Road is terribly mistimed and too short to allow any flow off that exit ramp
- Consider allowing two right turn lanes on event night into the parking lots

Bottom line - allow PLENTY of time (more than you think) for driving and parking. I am a good time planner and it is still very stressful.

That being said, this time we were with someone with a handicapped sticker and once we did get up to parking the Rosemont Theatre staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating to get to a parking spot or in to the seats.

Once you are in the theater, all the seats are really good. A tip for restrooms during intermission is to avoid the lobby and head instead to the exits on the lower level. Restrooms there have consistently little to no wait.

Went to the Kenny Rogers concert on a Saturday night. The facility was comfortable and balcony seats (Sec 2 row K) were fine. Sound system was good for music, but poor when he told stories. Drinks and snacks are outrageously expensive. It took 45 min to drive from Higgins to the theater on River Road; a trip that should take no more than 10-15 min. We couldn't get near the parking lot due to traffic jam on the property, so we parked in the Outlet mall garage next door to the west. That worked out great and saved us $20. Unless you need to get on the expressway when you exit, I recommend you turn right (southbound) onto River Road. Go to first light (Lawrence) turn right and go to Mannheim (Rt 12/45) where you can go north or south.

The theater is great. Seats are well laid out and you have a great view of the stage.
Acoustics are phenomenal.
The security staff was friendly and kept the theater organized and safe at all times.

I saw George Carlin here back in the late 90s and it is a venue but it was comfortable. Getting in and out was easy. Lots of parking, but high price for that.

Last weekend my family went to a concert held in the Rosemont Theatre . Every seat is a good seat in this theatre. We were in row ff on the bottom floor, we felt close to the stage. It was great!

By DeeDee J |

We loved everything about that place. The upper section with the food and bar service. The huge screen and excellent surround sound. We loved the love seat style seating. The roominess of the theater. In conclusion, very comfortable.

Easy access, all seats are very good. Easy to get the family or for just the two of you. Beautiful entrance and close to the outlet mall and nice restaurants

I am always excited when a show or artist I want to see is appearing at the great Rosemont Theater. What makes it great? It's big enough to attract first rate acts, but small enough that if you cannot afford ground floor or first balcony seats, you can still get a great seat. The theater has great self-parking, but also offers valet parking for a nominal additional charge ($10 more). In my recent experience I brought my son to see Lindsey Stirling (violinist/dancer) and we had the opportunity to purchase orchestra pit "seats." I say seats, because there were no chairs, you stand. However, you get to stand right by the stage, which was amazing. I did not realize that food and drink were sold at the theater until I saw people noshing on pizza and pretzels. Great to know if you're rushing around for a pre-theater bite. All-in-all this is a great place to see your favorite act.

This place was fantastic! The parking was so easy and close. The feel inside was spacious in the lobby and the theater was comfortable. Easy in and easy out too!

Today we saw the worst ballet in my life.
Some of the ballet dancers are maybe maybe professional , but their ballet is terrible, horrible , unbelievable !!!
They danced with local dance academy kids. I found that this ballet was just a RECITAL for these local dance academy kids!

We bought 3 tickets and costed more than $300 !
For kids recital ballet , it is too expensive !!!
If I knew it, we would never go to see this ballet.

And even maybe professional dancers, their dance was like beginners dance.

Totally this ballet was just a mess !!!

If you have already seen the real Russian ballet in Russia ,
I can say , You will be disappointed
at this ballet!!!

Please be careful to buy the tickets of this ballet.
YouTube advertising video is NOT real one !!!

Nice theater. Larger than expected. Full house for Pentatonix. Easy getting in and out. Parking more difficult unless you want to valet ($40). I have heard the lot and garage are difficult.

We have attended many events here and always had a great time, but won't go back. Attended Chelsea Handler who was great, but the parking is not only legal theft-it is a total mess. Getting in and out was a total disaster- and to have to pay $25 to be taken advantage of and make a supposedly fun night out, nothing but stress? No thank you. Inside was no better- total chaos- lines were hundreds of patrons long. I imagine that the owners treat their team like they treat their patrons. We all deserve better- plenty of other venues in the Chicago area or drive to a nearby city- but avoid the Rosemont until things change

Let it Be, Beatles tribute. Fantastic show and a very nice theater even though a bottle of water is $4.25. Comfy seats and decent site lines. Easy parking.

Had my Master's graduation ceremony there. The place is large, well kept and organized. The building looks nice from the outside as well, and there is plenty of parking space.

As a venue, the theater is OK. For this production our center balcony seats provided a view of the entire stage, but average height people in front can obstruct your view. For this production the left and right sections were blocked off entirely. As others have said, parking is sort of a mess. They charge $20 cash only, and unless you're lucky, you'll probably have a good hike to the theater entrance. We heard complaints about the service during intermission, both the service and long lines, and the high prices. We escaped early because we were parked fairly near the entrance, but others who had to hike to their cars were most likely stuck in a massive jam trying to leave. Horrible traffic control.
Regarding the ShenYun production - save your money. The show is nothing like what is portrayed in the colorful, exciting commercials. It was repetitive, with what seemed like the same/similar dances done in different costumes. Not much of the leaps and tumbling and flowing costumes you expect. This show is also a long political commercial for the Falun Gong or Falun Dafa religious organization. There are banners promoting that group during the performances, and several of the "dance stories" and the solo performances involved references to their beliefs. Not cool, because they aren't out front with any of this. I was not the only person underwhelmed; several people left at intermission. Applause was lukewarm and polite, and afterward people just got up quietly and left...... Didn't see many happy, smiling faces. You've been warned.

Great Theater and easy to navigate and great parking. It’s really not a bad seat in the house. Everything is clean and plenty of staff to help with seating.

By mml1015 |

We recently attended a concert at this venue. The entrance to the parking lot was a little complicated for us to find (although this was our first time at the venue which could explain our confusion) but once we were in we were impressed with the efficiency of the parking process.

The foyer of the venue is beautiful and reminded me of ornate, old theaters that I have been to for ballet performances. It set a nice ambiance for the evening. The inside of the performance space wasn’t as impressive as the foyer but was still nice and had very comfortable seats (even up top where our seats were!). I feel like almost any seat in the house would have had a good view of the performance. The acoustics in the venue were really nice!

The only complaint I had was that it appeared that many people that arrived after the show started had great difficulty finding their seats. This probably was in part because the rows were not backlit so once the lights were off people had to use their cell phones to try to find row labels. However the theater staff appeared to be trying their best to assist. I just wish there was something that could be done to help people find their seats as it was distracting.

Overall I would definitely attend a show at this venue again.

Hi,He has been around for about 55 years and yet people still say WHO.We went for the Christmas show and it was OK.I wanted him to sing my favorates yet he sang Christmas stuff, hence the Christmas show. His song selections I thought were poor and the second half was disappointing. We do not care because we came to him.
The Rosemont theater is a good theater there are no bad seat. The sound was good with plenty of leg room at your seat.I will go again when my next entertainer plays there.

Went here to see Johnny Mathis in December. entry into the event was extremely efficient. Beautiful venue. Great acoustics. Helpful staff.

Right near the convention center, the Rosemont theatre was a great venue for a live panel discussion.

By Kenneth O |

Parking cost was high, $20 cash only. Inside is very nice and clean but there again be prepared to pay if you want anything. Be careful on choosing your seats, we got seats just above the balcony entrance ramp and there was a HUGE handrail splitting the stage. You are forced to slouch in the seat in order to see the stage. Very uncomfortable! Saw Shen Yun 2017, very good show, sound and lights are exceptional.

By Laurence S |

The seats were comfortable. The sound system was superior. The foyer was clean and plush. The staff was as as friendly as possible. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was parking. There was a time when the theater was there pretty much by itself. Then they built an entire shopping and entertainment district around it. It may have escaped the planners that such a venue would attract lots of cars. There is not nearly enough parking for the theater. Many shoppers use the theater lot rather than the adjoining parking garage, meaning even less spots for the theater. It's a mess. I strongly recommend that anyone attending a show get there at least an hour beforehand. Make a day of it if necessary and shop and dine as there are some fine eateries in the area. But don't get there at show time and expect to be in your seat on time.

I also have a few issues that did not affect my rating. Can young people put down their damn phones for just the few hours of the show? First, there are big signs in the theater saying "no pictures", something ignored by more than a few people around me. And when at a live show, why would someone want to sit there and stare down at a small screen? In a dark theater, do they realize how distracting this is to others? Then there was the large group of women behind me that yakked their way through the show. I finally informed them that I wanted to hear Frankie Valli, not them. Do modern theaters need manners enforcement?

We purchased tickets a year in advance, excited to see some treasured artists whom we've loved for decades. They were outstanding in every way!! However, with the added fees onto our seats, we could not have been more disappointed! Not exactly cheap. Section 211k. Spend the extra money!! These seats totally stunk. We couldn't see the full stage, any of the screens, and barely the performers. Our expectations were dashed and it wasn't a cheap evening! Sooo disappointed. A good thing the Spirit of the Lord overrided it. The theatre was lovely; the artists extraordinary; only our view was poor.

By Allen21096 |

If you have an opportunity to choose between coming to a performance at the Rosemont Theatre or a downtown Chicago venue, I would choose the Rosemont Theatre every time, if only because of the parking. Inside the theatre is every bit as good as a downtown venue, though the Rosemont Theatre does not have multiple balconies. There are more than enough restrooms that are clean and well-kept, and there are enough concession stands so it is relatively easy to get something to drink, albeit a bit expensive. The parking can be an issue, as far as the price. It seems as though the price for parking does change. There is nearby parking, but parking in those lots can also have issues.

By Renee R |

Where to begin? The traffic jam to get in turned a 5-minute drive into 50 and caused us to be 20 minutes late to the show. We were directed to a remote lot. The theater is cavernous, devoid of any decor and completely uninviting. Exiting the garage was a complete disaster. Never, never, never again!

By jeff j |

Spent big bucks for up close seats. I landed the 3rd row , row C. I expected a great view. But our view was 50 percent blocked by this 4 foot high wooden wall that separates the pit area and the regular seats. All we could see was the performers waste and up. It was a dance show and we came to see the dancers feet and shoes in action too. Don't buy tickets in row C OR D , you will be sorry. ROSEMONT, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL.

Came to the theatre for DanTDM with my son. Parking cost was very high and cash was only accepted. I am glad I looked at reviews online prior to make sure I had cash with me. The theatre was beautiful and very clean. Also was happy with the seats. We sat in the balcony and had a clear view of the stage. Also leaving after the show was congested but not as bad as expected! Would attend more events here if given the opportunity.

By Danielle L |

The theatre is very pretty and it seems there isn't a bad seat in the house! Parking was very convenient for us (we showed up two hours before the show we were seeing). Easy in and out.

Please - if you are coming from out of town, do not spend money at this venue unless you are seeing a rock band or sports maybe. We saw the Nutcracker here 12/4/22 and it was terrible. Not just the show but the venue as well. Parking was very expensive $25.00 and the schmucks sent me to the wrong parking lot. The tickets purchased through Ticketmaster were a rip off. The performance was sub standard. The security/ushers were initially non-existent, (people in wrong seats etc). when they were around loud radios cracking here and there. They allowed late seating and did not hold performance until all were seated. People were talking, eating, rustling wrappers. They did have to remove someone for this behavior in back of me, so I did appreciate that but it was Ghetto. Never again.

Rosemont is a very nice theater/ venue accommodating over 4000. Plan to arrive early for no problem parking (cash only onsite). Restaurants in the area are an easy walk. With so many attendees, I was impressed how smoothly exiting the facility was at the end of the Dancing With the Stars performance.

By Chalita J |

Okay, so I went here on July 3rd for a Got7 concert. People were lining up three hours before the concert start. I don't really have any complaints about the place. But security was very tight and a bit rude. I mean, I don't mind them being strict because that's their job. But rudeness was just unnecessary.

I haven't been here in years, but it was just as great as I remember.

Beautiful theater hosting a variety of performances.

Beautiful grand staircase, ample bathrooms, and convenient parking for a fee.

Beautiful grand staircase and chandelier.

Excellent legroom and cup holders provide and ejoyable environment.

Like most theaters, the farther to the sides, there is some obstruction to the deep stage view.

Easy access on and off express ways.

Beautiful theater. I've been to see comedians here, a play, graduations and concerts. The sound is excellent and there isn't a bad seat in the house. It's easy to move around in...get the the restrooms, bars and your seat. Parking is a piece of cake. The lot is huge and if by chance no room left in the lot, the parking garage for the Fashion Outlet Mall is right next door or park at Capital Grille then stop for a nightcap after the show. All in all I think its one of the best venues in the Chicagoland area

By Ally R |

Went for the Brett Young concert! Seats were great, but I also agree a super tall guy was in front of me and the seats were not staggered. Lots of head tilting and hoping he would sit lol.

At the end of the show, Morgan Evans was doing a meet&greet so we waited in line for a half hour only to be cut off and told ‘sorry you guys have to go’. Seriously?? Don’t know who messed that up but totally killed my mood. Figure out that cr@p before people wait in line and have to drive over an hour home.

Acoustics in this theatre for Jerry Seinfeld were great. Seats in section 110-row U were really good. Seats a nice width-size but a little tight if you're long-legged. All good though. Wish they had large screen TVs on both sides of the stage. Even though Row U is pretty good, I would have appreciated to see Seinfeld's facial expressions during his routine.

By QuellyAnne |

I've been going to this theater for the last couple years and I love it. The seats are some of the most comfortable seats I've sat in for a theater. I love that you can pick your seats so you never have to worry about getting to the theater super early just to get good seats. Although, most of the seats are pretty decent no matter where you sit.

By Tom M |

Smaller, maybe 2000 to 3000 seats. Very comfortable. Bar service before and during shows. Variety of entertainment offered, from holiday shows, country groups, comedians, etc.
Parking, although a little pricey, is close and convenient. Easy access to the highways, airport. Check their website for schedules.

By travellingangie |

great indoor venue for concerts. Even if you have nosebleed seats, there is a large board to show you the stage.

By steelchess77 |

Remember, you can park across the street, and parking is free! (as long as you get your ticket validated at one of the restaurants). Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Such as Hofbrauhaus, Toby Keith's Bar and Grill, Adobe Gila's Mexican food, Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouse, and more.

By leafy |

Seats were extremely close together compared to other theatre venues I’ve been to. If you’re tall, etc. you’ll be uncomfortable and impinging on the seat next to you (my experience w/the balcony seats, anyway). The sound was mediocre and I could actually hear the singer’s voices better after popping in earplugs. The view, however, was great. Security was straightforward.

By Jreynolds517 |

I have seen a few shows here and I enjoy the atmosphere and the seating. The sound here is pretty good as well.

By Gail C |

The show was fantastic. I have some safety concerns: The elevator to the balcony was disabled and there were no railings along the steps. How is that helpful to people in need of a little extra help? Ushers? What ushers? Beer was $16 and people were not allowed in the theater until 30 minutes before the show. Fine, but there were no benches or chairs. Why should people have to sit on the floor or lean against a trash can? And, the parking lot after the show was mass confusion. I saw one person directing traffic in the parking lot. The show gets four stars, the service gets none. Not going back.

By IndianaKris |

The theater itself is nice. Seats are comfy. The decor is nice. But two different ushers were RUDE to us. We were there for the Matt Smith/Karen Gillan Panel during Comic Con. I was nicely asking about when we could go in...etc. The time had been changed. And two different ladies were very RUDE to me.

By deby p |

We had tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld, it took us one hour to go 3 blocks, when we got close there were police standing on the sidewalk, not directing traffic, acting as if the traffic wasn't a problem. Then they told us to go over to the new mall parking lot! We saw Jerry before, he starts on time , by the time we would have gotten to our seats the show would have been half over, we didn't go, blew the tickets and they wanted $30.00 to park!! We will never go to this venue ever again. Rosemont, get your act together ..

By Ashley G |

Went to this venue last night to see my favorite band play, the concert was amazing, the venue totally lacking. Poor lobby structure for sold out events, disgusting/over priced popcorn and pizza, and $12 for a can of bud light. The theater itself is in need of a desperate renovation, seats and carpet should be replaced. The sound, lighting, stage, and acoustics of the theatre were outstanding. I guess I would return for a specific event, but if given a choice of a different venue I would not. Also $20 for a suburban parking lot should have been run more efficiently with exiting vehicles after the event.

By Abenture |

Gotta hand it to the Stephens family and their death grip on these venues. Their "officers" directing traffic had lines backed up to the I-294 off ramp!! This isn't public safety, its stupidity. Last 1/2 mile takes longer than the entire drive to get there. If you want to offer up $30 for the worst valet service ever, Welcome to Rosemont.
You can "Rosemont it" - I'll stay away and go elsewhere.
