Beautiful Saturday night and had a great time with our son and his family at the ballpark. The ballpark has a play area for children inside the stadium that our grandchildren enjoyed playing in. Furthermore, behind the home plate seating area are various buildings and behind them there is a lego exhibit, where adults and children can build small lego baseball players for free.
BTW, The food is very good inside the stadium. We ate at the ballpark and my Nolan Ryan blu-cheeseburger with jalapeños was delicious! Be advised that the food is a little pricey but it is food being sold inside a baseball park after all !

This is a great little stadium. All seats are great views and the staff was very willing to make your visit a memorable one. Lots of variety of studious foods to choose from and a great area for kids to play. We didn't head that way since our kids were a bit older.

My first Baseball Game and it wasnt to far away.It had a large parking lot and the prices were great

At a recent charity event, I bid for and won tickets for four reserved seats to a Monday-Thursday baseball game. When I went to pick up my tickets for a Monday night game, the lady at the box office gave us tickets to section 126 which was in the bright sun for about 2 1/2 hours after the game began with temperatures in the 90s. Funny thing is we were the ONLY people assigned to that section and there were tons of open seats closer to the actual action on the field. When I went to customer service to see if we could change seats, I was told we could not be reassigned but it would be fine to sit any where that was open. Other than the seating issue, we had a great time. Employees/volunteers we interacted with (other than the box office) were friendly and very helpful. Concessions were quick and the game itself was a lot of fun. Parking is $10 or free if you drive a Lexus.

I have been coming out to the Park since the beginning and it keeps getting better every year. There aren’t any bad seats and it is great entertainment for families young and old. From the pool outside Right Field to the Rock Wall. Several great local restaurants.

Loved it!So family oriented and funness & baseball! The food was yummy and the kids loved the phonezone is ladies enjoyed the wine tastings :)

We go to several games a year. The facilities are great, the food is good and ticket prices are affordable. They have a great play area for little ones that aren't too interested in the game, and for the older kids, they have bungee trampoline, rock wall, basketball and pitching station.

What is better than an affordable baseball game? The Express baseball team offers a good family time at an affordable price. Baseball is always fun. The stadium is small so all seats are good. There is even a pool for the kids.

We visited the Round Rock Express on their second game of the year. The ballpark is still beautiful and food options are good. Sight lines are good from all parts of the field.
They also had the Budweiser Clydesdales in the parking lot- I believe they will be there for the entire first weekend!
Changes for this year include:
- Netting behind home plate is now extended to the far end of each dugout, improving safety but making it harder for the kids to get balls thrown to them by the players.
- New LED stadium lights that virtually eliminate shadows on the field. When the team hits a home run, the lights flashed in patterns while he rounded the bases.
It is still a great place to spend a few hours for an affordable price!

This past Saturday, my Grandsons (ages 7 & 5) and I attended the ROUND ROCK EXPRESS baseball game, against the Iowa Cubs, at the magnificent Dell Stadium. We once again were priveledged to watch the Express win. This was not simply a ball game. It was a delightful family experience, and one that my Grandchildren will not forget for many years to come. My Grandson especially appreciates that his hero, Spike Owen, has arranged to win all the games we attend. I attended minor league games with my Grandfather more than a half century ago, and this has become a family tradition. After my very first Houston Buffaloes game (at the end of WW II), my Grandfather told me, "There is nothing minor about the minor leagues!" That bit of wisdom is just as true today. If the rest of you "old codgers" really want quality time with your Grandchildren, take them to a ballgame.

I had not been to a baseball game since my son was in little league (he is 45 now). I really enjoyed the game, the food was good and the fireworks after were spectacular. I understand they have fireworks every Friday during the season.

Great place for kids to run around and watch the game. Great for parents to get out of the house. Lot's of specials and the mascot is hilarious.

When I went there was no breeze and it was way too hot. Never again. I am a sometime enjoy sports person, but this was a waste of my time & money.

My husband was home on leave from deployment and really wanted to go to a ball game. Round Rock Express was in town and a shorter drive then Dallas or Houston.
The park is really clean and has a ton to offer to entertain families and kids besides the game! There are a few inside bars, a rock climbing wall a pool! When do you have time to watch baseball?!? During the game between innings are family fun contests and all that you expect at a minor league park. We had great seats down the first base line, BRING A GLOVE! I didn't have mine and was worried all night that a foul line drive would come right at me! There were a lot of switch hitters and lefties batting!
But the BEST part of the night, after the Express lost :-( we saw some super awesome fireworks! I would go back to a game just for those! I noticed a lot of people with kids left to watch from their cars to beat the rush out, but the best seat is inside for sure!

This was my first visit to the Dell Diamond since moving to Round Rock in November. We had a fantastic time and it's great that they don't try to gouge you on the ticket prices and parking. Loved the fact that you can get a 32oz beer for just $5.00 although I wasn't too happy about the less than stellar hot dogs and chips for $9.00. If you get a chance, eat before you arrive and then you can just sit back and enjoy the festivities and $5.00 beers.

A great place to watch baseball! All the seats are decent, and there are plenty of promotional opportunities for fans to win this and that. There are little entertainment bits between innings that keep the atmosphere fun. There is also an activity area near the outfield for kids. It's fun for the whole family. It can get a little hot in the summer, but the evenings aren't bad when there is a breeze. They could use a few more protective nets for the occasional wild foul ball. The fireworks are really impressive, especially for a minor league game. For visitors from out of town, the park is located northeast of Austin - a quick commute up IH35. It's totally worth checking out!

This place is so fun to watch the live game with friends and family. The place always has an up beat happy feeling to it. I would recommend going to a baseball game here. Have fun eat cotton candy, maybe a beer and watch a live baseball game ( Round Rock Express is a great team)

Fun, relaxing, blast from the past atmosphere!
Has all the makings of fun and childhood memories!
Beer, Hotdogs and like foods!
Can buy General grass with blanket sitting or a real seats
Condering prices for most days hinges nowdays one of the cheaper outings unless you have a slew of kids!
Good for idividuals or families
Suggestions Dress for weather, or sun depending on the day
I like night games best so nice on cool sunset and lights at night.
Has many choices of food areas
Play areas for kids
WArning as with anything today everything is separate cost.
Have fun!

I have attended numerous baseball games at Dell Diamond over the last several years. A truly family-friendly ballpark. My grandsons, ages 12 and 7, always have a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A nice secure and safe place for a family to enjoy a ball game on a Summer evening.

ALWAYS A BLAST! I grew up in round rock and I have been here hundeds of times. There is a very beautiful park right next to it and an awsome bbq place to eat before or after the game. friday nights they have fireworks!!

Always enjoy coming to the Dell Diamond for a RR Express game. Just be careful along the baseline. Saw someone get pegged by a baseball that went foul.

This is a very nice stadium. Many food options. All seats have a great view of the field. They have a great area out in the outfield for kids to play.

Great place to hang out with friends. Theirs no place id like to hang out with frieds to have fun in the sun.

We have been to several sporting events and concerts at this stadium. The RR Express is a very entertaining team with good quality players. We have never been disappointed with the game. It does get hot later in the summer. There is a great selection of food there, the Nolan Ryan beef hotdogs are a family favorite.

For minor league base ball this park is first class! I have visited serveral time and we always enjoy the games. If it is a hot sunny evening be sure to get on the third base side so you can have some shade. This is texas and thhe first base side can be brutal in the heat.

Great fun there, tasty food and many different game activities during the season for all to enjoy Nice location for travelers easy access from freeway #35 plenty of food for sharing with friends

This was a first in a lifetime for our Woden Eagles, 2A State playoff. Our fans had a great time. Beautiful field but extremely hot. Hope we make it back. This is a great place!

Went with friends and family to a game. Lots of fun, food and beer. Great place for kids and adults. As this is a minors team you may see future big leaugures

Fun for the whole family. There is a pool there too! Sit on the berm to save money. There are lots of food items to select from.

Good experience at a fun park! Went on a Saturday evening and had a blast! Seats were right behind home base; Beer was nice and cold; crowd was fun and fireworks after game an extra added bonus! Would go again!

Love seeing the express. so much more fun then watching big league games that move so slow. Good food selection. Enjoyed the game very much.

Tickets for good seats are under $10 and you can enjoy a decent game with a family for relatively low costs. Just don't eat in the stadium as food/drinks are pricy. Overall a very entertaining way to spend an evening in Round Rock.

Alwayds a fun place to catcg a game. Great players and the ballpark is 1st class. For food and beverages, the pizza is very good and lots of made to order beverage choices

Being at the Express helps me with my Anxiaty. Love it. My teenage boy has a passion for baseball. He loves the game.

Great place for kids or just Baseball fans. Only drawback is the price of beer! It is sad, being a Texas Ranger fan that I read the park is now going to be a Houston farm team. Oh well.

Salt Lick BBQ in the parking lot, great to go to before the game, and a great park ,behind the the field, has a great big pond and a 18 hole disc golf course and lots of base ball diamonds.

This park is without a doubt one of the better parks you can visit. There isn't a bad seat anywhere and the entire club is family oriented. We plan to have my 5 year olds birthday party here this summer at the pool. From the time you sit until the last firework is popped, you will make memories that every kid will remember for years to come. Season tickets are in our very near future. From the youngest newborn to the oldest grandparent, Dell Diamond is a local staple that you MUST frequent if you are in the area!!

This is a wonderful place to take in a game. Great views from everywhere, even the grass seats out in centerfield. Nice play area for the kids. It's AAA baseball, and often players from the Texas Rangers are on a rehab assignment with the Express. The last time I attended a game, the couple sitting in front of me had a little "incident," but the Express employees took control of the situation and removed them. All employees are friendly and eager to help. I love the big Margaritas. Fireworks on Friday evenings are a nice extra touch.

Great for the whole family. A good value every night of the week. And never a bad seat in the house, even on the grass.

We visited Dell Diamond for a high school playoff game and found the stadium to be nice and clean. There were many options for food and snacks including all of the regular ball park fare. Parking was easily accessible. There were several rows of seats that had tables in front of the fold down chairs - nice for being able to have somewhere to put your food and drink.

One of my favorite AAA ballparks. Food is great, prices are fair and the baseball is always competitive.

Watched game then fireworks and ran the bases afterwards. $14 tickets , good selection of concessions and nice atmosphere. Traffic was bad leaving but expected with 12,000 people leaving at one time.

We had a fabulous time at the ballgame. It was the first time at a game for my 3 grandkids and they really enjoyed it. We chose the grass outfield and it was good because they could move around and not have to sit still for the whole game.

I don't have any children, but those who did got to let their kids play in the play area and there's also a small pool for the warmer days. The big kids (adults) have plenty of food and beverages to choose from while enjoying a fun game of baseball. Friday nights, they shoot off fireworks after the game, so that's "a blast" to watch. And for those who want Round Rock Express merchandise, they have a large store full of all kinds of products.

Fantastic place to enjoy a baseball game. Ball Park is top notch. Great fun for all ages.
Baseball at it finest.

I've been to many different minor league baseball stadiums across the country, and Round Rock Express is easily one of the best. The stadium is very modern, has great food and beer, and exudes energy. They often hold events like Bark in the Park where you can bring your dog (pre-registered and background checks for shots) and frequently have fireworks shows after the games. I'm not even a huge fan of baseball, but I love going to the Round Rock Express games because I always have a good time.

It’s a very well kept and easy to access ballpark. Great food and cold beer. If you go to a game on a Friday night with the kids, you can watch the fireworks after the show. Plus the tickets are extremely cheap. You can sit anywhere you want for a very reasonable price. Check it out!

Beautiful ballpark, seats are very reasonably priced and are close to the action. Very good (though not cheap) food and drinks. Staff is very family -friendly. Parking is easy. The overall experience beats the two Texas major league teams hands down.

Very modern and well run franchise here. The baseball is good and the ambience of the ballpark is also very well done. Great for a family nigfht out, so check the website out for specials-- music, fireworks, etc.-- which happen often after the game.

It's a great team and a great time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that after visiting the Midwest and seeing the charm and small town appeal of their ballparks there, I feel the Express could do a lot more toward that end.

We like everything about the Express, the stadium is awesome, tickets are cheap and great selection of food and beverages, lots of cool promotions

It was my children's first time to go to a baseball game! We live in Europe, but were visiting my family in Texas. My dad invited us all to the ballpark. My kids had a great time! My son, who's 9, watched eagerly as he plays baseball in Amsterdam. My daughter, who's 12, in joyed to safe environment to run around and explore.
The food was plentiful and good, the seats were comfortable and the people were friendly. My son even got an autographed ball!
All in all, it was a good day at the ballpark!

Big, clean and beautiful. Full of fun filled activities for kiddos and prices for seats from $6.00. The announcers make it fun and they have little games and a great mascot. (Spike) If you want an afternoon of old fashioned fun, try a trip to the Dell Diamond to watch the Round Rock Express play. They are a farm team for Texas Rangers. Always a good time!!

This is one of the best minor league stadiums we have ever been to. There are a lot of fun things for kids and they even have a pool/hot tub area groups can rent. The have different activities between innings that keep your attention. If you go on a hot day and have a choice get seats on the third base side so you are not in the sun.

Went to the ball park for a family fun evening. Ate fish and chips and enjoyed a beautiful Texas evening. Such a lovely place

Decided last minute to go see a game. Able to get tickets online and pick up at window. Fun place. Lots of food options, close parking, entertaining between innings. Good for anyone Great activity area for children. Love coming here

My kids love to go the baseball games, they are reasonably priced, you can bring in an unopened water and snack for each person, sit on the lawn, choose a rocking chair, or a seat, they are all great. Craft beer and a hot dog, home team baseball, and you are ready to go.

This was our first visit and we will be back!!! The food was yummy and the drinks were awesome!!
See ya next time!!!

Took the grandkids to a ball game. The seats were very reasonable and the park is beautiful! First class facility for a minor league team. However, I was really annoyed at the very high prices for any of the food there. You have to buy the food on site. $4.50 for a bottle of water. $7.00 for a plain hot dog. The kicker was $6.00 for a small soda and they would not give me a straw for it! They said that they only gave out straws for the milkshakes which were $7.50. I get that ballpark food is expensive. It's not right, but I get it. BUT...they couldn't even provide a straw with a $6 drink. Boo, Hiss!! We will not be back.

Passing through and had an extra night. Tickets were reasonable and right behind home plate. Kids had a blast! Great food options, friendly crowd, and activities to watch between innings. There was a kids zone we didn't walk over to. Restrooms stayed clean throughout.
Only negative was exiting the parking lot after the game. For the size of the park and crowd it seemed like it took a lot longer than it should have. We sat about 30 minutes without anyone really moving. Both the major and minor league parks closer to home seem to have better traffic systems. A bunch of people around us left after the 8th inning. Guess that's the trick.

Love the Express games and Dell Diamond is a beautiful ball park! If you don't want to eat at the game (although some of the best foot long hotdogs EVER are there!) it's right by Salt Lick BBQ so go early and eat first! It's a relatively inexpensive family evening to go to the game and get a hot dog

Who doesn't enjoy baseball in a beautiful setting that's family friendly and easy on the pocketbook?

Dell diamond was a thrill to see some my kid play. The place has a closeness to field feel. Parking lot was nice and clean and no bums hanging around.

The experience was great, like always. Food was a disappointment, but I'll chalk it up to it being their second day and having a young guy who doesn't know how to use q grill. Otherwise, it was q fun event, nice seats, and very accommodating of my mom's wheelchair. Oh, and great fireworks!

Everyone is so friendly; beer is cold, hot dogs and corn dogs are the best. Fun times! Bathrooms are clean too and the fire works are a nice additional to a baseball ticket. They are awesome!!!

We were there for an sporting event other than an Express game. It is a very nice facility and found it very clean and well designed. Will try to catch an Express game next time.

I'm not a baseball fan but I really enjoy going to these games. They have a lot of entertainment between innings. I highly recommend it. Food prices are pretty high but that's expected.

Love going to the games. It's great baseball at a great park. And the food's not bad either. Not a bad seat in the park.

Fun times for every member of the family. Besides watching exciting baseball, there are basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, an inflatable moon walk and more activities for the kids.

The staff is amazing. Concessions everywhere. Every seat is a good seat. Beautiful ball park. Enjoyable time was had by entire family.

Great atmosphere.. great staff.... very clean and organized facility ! Only one thing get there early not enough parking available if you are late to the event !

This place is perfect if you aren't a hardcore baseball fan. It's nice to be able to watch a game and socialize at the same time. The atmosphere is great for kids. They have a bunch of kid friendly attractions! Friday nights are firework nights and I'd recommend going that day. Tickets are really cheap. They have grass tickets which are great for families it's kids.

Fun time for all. The Round Rock Express ball park is a great place for the entire family to enjoy baseball and all it entails.

I love the game, love sitting on the lawn with my kids, they can run around and have a good time while I can sit back and enjoy the game. PLUS There are fireworks EVERY Friday night!, Didn't give it a full rating just because it is super expensive to eat there.

Minor league baseball at its best!!!
The Round Rock Express play at Dell Diamond = a great place for baseball - AND - for a lot of other things. There is a water park in the back, picnic and play area. There is a great seating on a nice grassy area beyond left field. The team is competitive. You can run the bases with Spike (team mascot) after the game. Plus events in-between innings to keep you busy.
Only down side - it can get hot in August in Texas !!

This is so much fun to go watch baseball that is minor league but they play like major league! The facility is very nice and clean and it is a great family event too

Where else can you get good baseball, fun activities, tasty food, AND outstanding fireworks for this low price? As usual, we had a ball (pun intended).

It is a good event for families, with more to do than just watching baseball. The food / drinks available are pricey but when aren't they at stadiums.

Great place to take the family for a baseball game, you tend to see some MLB players playing there during off season with AAA players. There are things for the kids, its fun and affordable

Always a great time at the Dell Diamond. Great seats all around with friendly staff good food and cold beverages

First time here for me, second for my husband. Stadium is great and fun for families and couples. Our company has suite seats by the Intel Club. Sitting outside to watch the game behind home plate is great experience. Inside is the Intel Club where food and drinks are served. We sat inside to eat. We waited for a waitress for 20min. When one did not show up, my husband went to the bar. The girl took our order. My Dr. Pepper was flat and awful. He went to exchange it, and it was not any better. We waited 45min for our food (we waited this long because we saw how busy they were). Finally, my husband went to ask about it. The girl behind the bar admitted that she forgot to put out order in. So we went ahead and reordered our food. Another 20min went by, we finally got the manager. He went to get our food and our food came out at the bar. Our food was wrong. We ended up not paying for our food, but by the time we ate, it was the 7th inning and we had wasted the entire evening in the loud crowded clubhouse. I would have preferred a bar and its food, over this "VIP" experience. Next time, I will make sure to eat before going to the game. One would think this was a "one time experience" but my husband said that his order was messed up the last time he came here too.

I live about 5 minutes from the Dell Diamond. I saw it get built from the ground up. It is a first class facility with no costs spared. It accommodates Triple A baseball which is one level below the major league play. At least once per year, the Houston Astros play there. The stadium also has a huge play area with swimming pool for kids. Good food inside the stadium and the Saltlick BBQ has a large new restaurant adjacent to the parking lot. Fireworks happen every Friday night and on holidays.

Games are fun and the stadium is small. Its a great place for families. Concessions are crazy expensive.

Growing up In West Texas not a lot to do, but being here in Round Rock I’ll you have to do is drive right down the street. Love baseball. Not only baseball is there. They have art and craft shows carnivals and what ever they can throw at you

We are used to watching the Diamondbacks and the Cactus League Spring Training teams, and a game at the Round Rock Express stadium is just as good...maybe better. The baseball is excellent. The stadium is as good as any small stadium you've seen...lots of food, drink and reasonably priced seating. The really fun part of minor league sports is the goofy time-filling activities they do to keep the crowd engaged. The dirtiest car in the parking lot contest, the little kid races on the field, the various "cams" like the baby cam and the muscle cam. It's just good, clean fun! The stadium and the team are worth your $20!

We've watched a lot of minor league baseball across the country -- it is the best way for a family on a budget to watch baseball together.
This park is clean and easy to get around, with wide concourses, plenty of parking, and even a water play area for the kids.
I took off a star because the concession prices were among the higher prices I've seen at a minor league park.

We (my wife and I) have visited this venue since its first year of operations. At that time we did not live in Round Rock, but since have moved to Round Rock. During baseball season, we attend at least 2 games a month. We would attend more but work schedule limits opportunities to attend or become season ticket holders. BUt while in attendance, all personnel at all the games have provided exceptional customer service. The operating group provides upgrades/changes annually to enhance the fan's game experience, even though the Express team has changed affiliations. I've visited other minor league stadiums in other states (as well as Texas) and none have compared to that of the Round Rock Express. The team is quite community oriented which really makes the games that much more enjoyable. We really love attending to watch the Round Rock Express play baseball and also amenities of the stadium.

The stadium is beautiful, great venue to enjoy a ball game. Plenty of parking and easy to access stadium. The Guest Services Staff is outstanding, so friendly and helpful.

Do yourself a favor and take in a ball game here. Minor league team affiliated with the Texas Rangers - and frankly I would MUCH rather go here than to see the Rangers themselves. About 1/3 the price - MUCH cheaper concessions. Much friendlier staff - and a much better view. I have been half a dozen times, and enjoyed each visit a great deal. This Stadium and the one in Pensacola (for the Blue Wahoos) are the two best minor league stadiums in the country.

The minor league baseball team in Round Rock provides low cost entertainment for both families and individuals. One does not have to get a loan to see a baseball game.
The ballpark is well designed and a delight to attend.

Great fun for the entire family. Great variety of food inside and outside the ball field. Plenty of parking. The berm area is great for little ones.

We always enjoy going to the games. There is lots to do here. We are hoping to take the kids. There is a great play area, a pool to cool down, and a great atmosphere.

We enjoyed our visit on the fourth of July. The game was okay (loss) but the atmosphere at the ballpark is outstanding, everyone was friendly, a very good experience.

If you enjoy a crowd and the activity of a slow paced action filled outing, how can you pass up a Baseball game. This ball park has it all, a wide variety of food and beverages. Souvenirs galore, a small amusement park atmosphere with a pool area and a small mix of games for the kids, special twist on in-between inning games and audience participation, and they manage to throw in a Baseball game to boot. You can sit in seats, or on the grassy outfield slope behind right field. Aside from the Texas heat, it has the making of a great adventure.

Family ball park, variety of concessions, friendly staff, good ball team to watch in comfortable ball park

We went to a game with 3 kids under 8. It was a lot of fun and there was plenty to keep them occupied. The prices were reasonable and much better than a major league park. They activities between innings was entertaining.

State of the art ball park in which to watch minor league prospects, recent draft choices play their best in an attempt to move up to the majors. Minor league ball is full of players who are not yet cynical or arrogant and still playing all out ball. I have watched many ballgames but none are as fun are satisfying as minor league ball. The setting in Round Rock is just short drive from Austin and is luxurious. You can sit on the hill to watch the game. Spread your blanket and let the children have the run of the area as well as enjoy the playground area. Great concessions stands to get that hotdog that never fails to be the best hotdog ever but is in the song "take me out to the ball game" and there is no better place to be view a ballgame." The players are in the Texas Ranger system and possibly steps away from the majors where you will pay a lot more to see them in action.

It's a nice evening to spend out watching a game with some of the players someday playing in the majors-This ball club always has an outstanding player on its team

We've been going to Express games for about 5 years now and always have a good time at the Dell Diamond. The food is definitely average but just sitting out on a nice Texas evening watching some baseball is awesome. As long as they remain the Rangers Triple A team we'll continue going to about 20 games a year.

This is a must if you are a baseball fan and happen to be in Round Rock during baseball season. The management does a great job at keeping everyone very entertained and also be part of the action.

great base ball games for area, military discounts, salt lick steak house right next to it. not to far off of I35 and the toll rode

Went to watch one of their games, and it was a great experience, definitely going to their next game when i'm in town.

We have been to see the Round Rock Express play several times, and it has always been great fun. The other night, just the two of us senior citizens went, the first time without grandchildren or friends. We wondered if we would be bored. Absolutely not! We stayed until the end. Some great plays were made on the field, and the activities they have between innings are always entertaining. Kids can have birthday parties there. There is also a huge play area for kids, but our grandchildren have always been so interested in all that is happening on the field that they have not been there. The entire facilities are kept very clean. Being there just feels like a slice of real good ol' American entertainment.

Texas Rangers AAA affiliate. Great way to watch rehabbing players or future pros before they get called up to the bigs.

Round Rock Express at the Dell Diamond is a great family-friendly event. Even if the ball game doesn't keep the kids attention for the duration of the game, there are lots of kids activities at the park to keep them occupied. Make sure to stay for fireworks.

Get there early there is a ton of stuff to do before the game. rock climbing, swimming pool jump cables for kids. I have never seen so much stuff

Excellent place to to watch some baseball. The local team is great and sometimes the Longhorns baseball team plays there too. Nice venue, almost like a real Major league venue.

Minor League Highway Robbery! Have been to Major League games and paid 1/2 the price for food and drinks! $9 for a Hot dog! Why people buy this high priced junk is beyond me!?

texas farm league baseball at its best and incredible food,,the nolan ryan grill is wonderful, we get season tickets because my guys love it soooo much!

It's a fun family experience. The tickets are cheap and the fun factor is high. I recommend going on dollar hot dog and soda night because the food adds up. (Double check before you go, but I think it's Mondays). If you have young kids (preschool) don't buy them seats - just grass tickets because they will be on your lap or standing anyway. Teens need grass tickets because they run around the whole time and ignore you, never sitting in their seats. We've been to games every season - they offer a consistent experience.

I went to a Saturday game (they have them several days a week) it was quite busy but once everyone was seated there was still plenty of seats left so you don't have to worry about sitting next to strangers who are very passionate about their local baseball team. Long game, Round Rock lost but it was still fun (you have to pay for parking)

Discount seats available but don't count on seeing or hearing anything; I need earplugs so my ears aren't overwhelmed. The park boasts a play area for kids & plenty of food fenders - including 1 or 2 nicer restaurants
The Express are a pretty good team so expect a good show. More than one player get bumped up to 'The Show' each year. If you've got the money invest in infield tickets. If hanging out with group is the idea then those centerfield seats are just fine.

We've now visited the Round Rock Express stadium on several occasions. We've enjoyed each and every visit. In my opinion, this is the way baseball should be watched. Great for families and couples. Very relaxing and many seating options. We're going to try the rockers in left field on our next trip. We love this stadium and the experience. We'll be back soon.

Family oriented, great food and the gift shop employees are great and friendly. Game day pricing allows for this to a great family experience.

...I mean you can't really go wrong getting to visit a field you have never been before!
There were not any games going on, we just looked at the field through the gates and then walked around the store to see if we could pick up any souvenirs. I loved it!
Something not usually on the premises was the traveling Baseball Hall of Fameand that would have been awesome to go to but we just looked at some of the merchandise they had on hand and skipped the $20/person entrance fee.
I would have loved to see a game but the Express were playing out of town this particular weekend ... It was fantastic just being able to walk around though. However, if my husband and I ever plan on visiting Austin again we may have to check the schedule.

The Texas Rangers is one of my favorite teams and being able to watch the Farm Team- Round Rock Express- is so much fun. I just watched a game in Nashville, Tn at the new stadium for their farm team: Nashville Sounds. The stadium for the Round Rock Express is really a nicer facility.

The venue for baseball when you give up on the Big Leagues with their big seat tickets and super expensive drinks and snacks is something you don't ever want to go back to after the old time joy of minor league baseball. We had a fantastic time on their dollar drink and hot dog night-able to fete a big family group. Fun, fun, and they had action-home runs, double plays, awesome catches and I felt like they must have felt in the 50's. Thank you RR Express!

If you are near the North Austin city limit marker on Interstate I35, you are minutes away from a convenient, family afternoon treat: the attractive, clean, and safe environs of the only minor league stadium in the Central Texas area-- the place the "Round Rock Express" calls home.
Although this facility is something of a landmark, only a baseball fanatic would even suggest you consider this the primary purpose of a visit to this area of the State. A great add-on though if you are visiting other attractions in the area like the University of Texas, the State Capital complex, etc.
The almost new, speck and span facility, which touts lots of convenient parking, decent food, good seating, modest ticket pricing etc. is located a few miles East of Interstate I35 on Texas Highway 79. Here you can enjoy an afternoon of fun with family or friends as you mingle with the friendly, hospitable locals. This is "major-league" entertainment presented at a somewhat lower skill-setting but gobs of color, sights, and sounds that can only mean "baseball".
For those who prefer air-conditioned, somewhat sterile setting, this is not the place. In particular if you must avoid sunshine, do not attend an afternoon summer game but opt for the early evening engagements.
I am confident you will be pleased even if you are just a casual baseball fan and very pleased if you enjoy college-level play. But if you are the only one in your group that detests the game regardless of the skill level, not to worry as you could easily while away your time at the essentially on-site BBQ restaurant, "The Salt Lick" which is the Round Rock version of the Austin BBQ classic by the same name. (Do not miss this "diversion" before or after the game if you are a BBQ aficionado!).

Awesome ball park! It was great tonsee the future of the Astros. Great seating. Parking was very accessible.

Grab the kids and get them to a ball game.
Great experience, fair pricing and look for their week night specials.
By the way...The Express is in first place in their division

I liked the King Bed and the couch, kitchenette, the breakfast, the workers. Jennifer and Ryan who work there, made me fresh, hot oatmeal raisin cookies with their new cookie maker oven.

Local grassroots Family fun for those on a budget. The grass berm allows family to bring a blanket and watch the game. The open stadium is justthe right size to allow the game to be enjoyed and not just seen on a big screen. My special needs child has a love for baseball and enjoys the dancing and family fun that the Dell Diamand has.

Go on Monday for $1 Sodas and $1 hot dogs. Always a fun place with lots going on for the entire family!!

Love going to Express games - especially evening games. Almost always a nice breeze keeps you comfortable watching some minor league ball. It's an affordable night out - you won't be sorry!

When my girls grow up, one of their biggest memories will be going to Express games. We go to almost every Express game. They’re reasonably priced, especially for a family of 4. There is a variety of different foods to try, and if you have little ones who need to run around, bring a blanket and grab Berm tickets. You can buy refillable drinks and that’ll save you some money. They have a great store to peruse in. They also have a whole playground area for the little ones, and a basketball court for the older littles. They have a Junior Member club and it’s the best deal! You get tickets for every Sunday home game, a shirt, a bag, 2 free parking passes (and at $10 a pop, the $20 for the membership just paid for itself), and several other perks. They also get to line up first for the Running of the bases after the game. I️ feel so grateful to have this so close to my house!

My husband and I go to pretty much every Thursday home game. It's a great time to people watch and get into the crowd atmosphere. Personally I do not like baseball. I can't even tell you if we've won or lost any game I've been to. But I love going, it's so much fun! Thursday is Thirsty Thursday and draft beers are half price, can't go wrong.

Beautiful faculty. Great parking set-up. Friendly staff. Plenty of crazy fun family stuff going on. Looks and feels like a smaller version of a MLB Stadium. Round Rock is a AAA ball club for the Texas Rangers. Media team in the A/V booth is on it.....tons of great clips cued up....filling in every second of down time. They do a great moving the game along.

There is always SO MUCH going on at the stadium! From baseball games to carnivals to 5k's to RV shows.
The baseball games are a GREAT value. Cheap tickets, reasonably priced food (check out the Buffalo Wild Wings in Right Field - it's probably one of the best deals), always entertaining. Free playscape for the kiddos.
Buy a day pass to the Intel Club during the summer - you get to watch the game in the AC! (and the bathrooms are nicer) :)
The staff are friendly and helpful. They have concerts during the summer - go see the Spazmatics for a great time!
You won't go wrong with an Express game!

So many sports venues lack intimacy, and this delivers. You feel like part of the action, see the players faces and expressions. Smell the freshly cut grass. The staff treats fans like guests. The AAA quality of baseball is nearly major league. The fans are friendly and its so easy to make friends. My 30 year old daughter, not a baseball fan, loved the evening there, as did my 5 year old grandson (especially Spike). Be careful of the sun in the first base/right field side during summer nights before the sun sets, and bring money for the food and drink: its not cheap.

Dell Diamond home of Round Rock Express. A nice facility. It has been open for over 10 years now. It is getting more and more expensive to go to a game. Reserve tickets are now $17 plus all the fees and tax. In 2016 it cost $10 to park your car unless you drive a Lexus. A hot dog is $7. Popcorn $6. Yes, they have dollar hot dog nights during the week. However, to drive here on a week night is impossible for most of Austin. Traffic is too bad. I do like seeing the same ushers year after year. I also like the "pass the hat" tradition for players when they hit a homerun. I think that needs to be broadcasted more as I don't see many fan doing it anymore. It does make me wonder where all the extra money is going now. Everything has gone up in price but not much has changed in the time it has been open. Oh wait the Budwiser second story has been built. Same silly promotions in between innings. We used to come to a few game a year. With increase in price and traffic we barely make three a year. Which doesn't make some of the packages worth it to us. That is one way to get the actual ticket price down. Doesn't help with snacks and parking. The actual facility is clean. Plenty of woman's bathrooms. Staff is usually friendly. Just wish they didn't increase price every year.

This is a beautiful ball park. Our first time here and were very impressed. Even had a couple of Houston Astros players that were rehabbing here and was super good game. Food and beverages were less expensive than what I thought they would be.

Nice place to take your family. They seem to cater to families and kids. Mondays they have cheap hot dogs and soft drinks. You can watch the game and feed your family very easy.

Round Rock Express is a great, affordable place to take entire family! We've been there several times for games, as well as other events (i.e. Race for the Cure) and the facility is always clean!

It's cool if baseball is your thang, food and beery was very pricey. mascot was sort of funny to watch, I just went to say I did.

We attended a baseball game on a day of one-dollar hot dog night, Although the ball park is not as large as major lead that we used to attend, we were surprised how great the park runs. Aside from hot dogs there are enough eating places to choose.

Half price Tuesday, sat behind home plate for $7 a seat. If I lived in the area would probably have season tickets. Nice park, as with most minor league games, lots of on field activities between innings. And the Express came back to win, so even better. A fun time for all.

Yes it's AA ball. Come see some talent that you might see on the big screen at any moment if they are called up. Fun, sun, picnic, family of four can actually afford to go. Food isn't bad and FIREWORKS Fridays!!!

Amazing stadium! The crowds were polite and did not heckle the umpires or the players. It was enjoyable to watch a baseball game where people knew baseball protocols. The customer service people were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and seemed to love working at the ballpark. Definitely a trip to repeat next year.

We always have a great time at RR Express games! Whether we get the cheap seats on the lawn or the awesome hook up right behind the Express dugout, we have a great time no matter what. Too bad it gets so HOT here during BBall season! The facilities are amazing....there's a pool and a rock wall, etc!

Round Rock Express is a great cheap place to bring the family. Getting to watch live baseball and have a beer while kids can play at the kids area is pretty sweet!! can wait to get more tickets

A very good AAA baseball experience. This park seems much improved since our last visit, and the game and surrounding events were highly enjoyable.

Loved the _Fear_the_Walking_Dead_Night_ They also have fireworks, bands, half-priced tickets, and other deals. Always a great outing, even if it's not cheap. May is a great time for a game, not too hot/cold.

I took my wife to see the Round Rock Express vs Iowa. It was an exciting game.
We also enjoyed the wide variety of food and drinks. Our seats were in Section 125 which were great. The announcer and staff kept everyone entertained between innings.
It was a great family atmosphere and we appreciated that. Everything from accessing the park, parking, vendors and staff were very friendly.
Our trip to the Dell Diamond on a Friday night when they have fireworks. Since this is 4th of July weekend, the fireworks had a beautiful patriotic them. The last song to the fireworks was Bruce Springsteen's version of This Land. Both my wife and became emotional and enjoyed the show to end the night.
It is hard to achieve perfection but the Dell Diamond and Round Rock Express achieved it. The Ryan family have setup and run a class operation....thx!

Tickets are super cheap and the stadium is small enough that you are never very far from the field. There are numerous food options, and there is even a playground and a pool beyond the outfield wall.
I would recommend sitting on the west side, that way you are in the shade the entire game

RR Express games are fantastic esp for the family. Love the location, team, food & drinks. Great fun.

Season ticket Holder - obviously a huge fan. If you like baseball and a great family activity this is a great place to visit and enjoy a leisurely family event.

The Ryans have a treasure at the Diamond!!! team is good and plays very competitively... good action, the guys hustle...and the crowd enjoys their effort

Great for a nice night. Clean facilities, friendly staff. The only drawback is the food and drink prices. Last time we were there we got two hamburgers and two waters and it came out to nearly $30. I almost fell over when my husband brought our food back and told me how expensive it was. We now know to eat before we go.

If parking wasn't so expensive ($8), this would be a 5-star activity.
An Express game is a great way to spend a casual evening for couples, friends, family. We love baseball, but if YOU don't, it's still a relaxing evening. The stadium has a play area with climbing wall and bouncing swing thing; big screen scoreboard with plenty of candid shots of the crowd; distractions for the crowd when the teams are switching on the field. Kids are always fun to watch.
Monday night is $1 hot dog / $1 small drink night.
As for ticket prices, when I got tickets for a specific date so a number of couples could attend together, tickets were $14 each. But if you can plan ahead, you might be able to find some deals. We got a couple package deals (something like 9 tickets for $100) and we picked all our dates in advance, spreading out the tickets through the season.
All the seats are decent and fans are friendly. We went to three games during all the recent rain - umbrellas don't block the view of those behind you if you keep them close to your head. If you don't have an umbrella, the home run porch is a great place to catch the action.
I've never met a rude staff person or vendor there.
Though parking seems expensive to me ($8), it's easy in and easy out. There is a park farther down the road, beyond the stadium and the creek, and you can park there for free and make the ten-minute walk to the game; or dine at Salt Lick, located at the edge of the stadium parking lot, and park for free in a tucked away part of the restaurant's lot.

The Round Rock Express is the Triple A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and boast an impressive stadium and facility. A recent visit to Austin and Round Rock included a night time game (great because the Texas summer temperatures dropped from 112 degrees to 102 degrees at gametime). Despite the still sweltering temperatures, there was a decent breeze and sitting over the 3rd base dugout kept us out of the setting sun. Unless you are a masochist, avoid the first base side of the stadium because the still setting sun will roast and blind you.
The food and drink selections are ample and both were well stocked for a game that was almost empty (a factor of the heat again). $2 Taco Tuesday night was great and the tacos more than respectable. Top that off with a $3 beer special and you couldn't go wrong. We found the concession staff to be amazingly friendly, outgoing, and accommodating. In fact, no where in Texas did we find a local who was unwelcoming.
Like most minor league operations, there is a balance between baseball and family fun activities. There seemed to be a good number of activities for the kids past the centerfield concourse. The between inning activities are entertaining and provided a mild respite from marginal baseball play. AAA baseball is fun to watch and the disparity between that level and the Big Leagues is dramatic. Nevertheless, the opportunity to see up and coming talent (and occasionally someone passing down through the ranks) offers an appreciation for how good a player has to be to make it and survive on a major league team.
In summary, the Round Rock Express Dell Diamond Stadium is a great venue with great people and will offer a very nice family outing. Check their website for special ticket offers and food discounts and save even more.

The baseball game was fun to watch and there was a large variety of drinks and snacks to make it a real event. Plenty of distractions for kiddos if they get bored. Parking was easy.

Beer is still $10, but you get 36oz beers. Great way to spend an afternoon or evening, tickets are cheap and parking is $10.

The weather was beautiful so we decided to go to Dell Diamond for a baseball game. We got 50% off the tickets for reserved seats so it was affordable. The Dell Diamond is clean and the seats are comfortable. We sat under the overhang behind home plate. It was about half packed so not too crowded. My only complaint is the cost of the food and drinks. They are priced twice as much as you pay outside the park. They also charge for parking. When I consider what we paid for the evening, I think I may have liked a movie and dinner better, but my husband enjoys baseball (even though RRE lost). We are planning to go again because it is a relaxing evening out.

In the horrid Texas heat we took five grandchildren and a daughter-in-law for an evening of fun. It's a great facility and good entertainment.

Great experience not expensive fun for all. Special nights are great 1 dollar hot dogs and beer especially

Fun place and not a bad seat in the house! Staff is helpful and the baseball is always no matter what team you are rooting for. Excellent BBQ right on the parking lot. Get there early as there is always a full house!

I didn't actually go to an Express game, but the stadium looked very nice. All the great amenities you would want to have to go along with catching a game. The best part, Salt Lick BBQ was right in the same parking lot as the stadium

Attend lots and lots of baseball in all kinds of leagues. This just made the short list of favorite parks to attend. Easy in and out to Dell Diamond, great, great, great food selection, and a very accessible team. We got two balls tossed to us, got a dozen or more autographs from players that were in the majors last year; and/or are sure to be there again this year, had great seats for a good price, and found a dramatic sale on apparel going on in the team store.
One of the best surprises was the ticket price. This is the AAA affiliate for the Texas Rangers (one step below the Bigs), and yet ticket prices were lower than for the AA team in Frisco. Dell Diamond holds about 8,000 folks, and is very easy to get around in. While the game wasn't sold out when we were there, even if the crowd had been twice the size, the concourses would not have been a problem to get around in. Besides the typical baseball fare, there was a heavy emphasis upon "Texas" food (burgers, BBQ, steak). But, again, the prices were lower than both at the Majors, and the AA team in Frisco.
Staff at the park was not only accessible, but went out of their way to be helpful. We got lots of tips from ushers about best places to see this, or to stand while.... As hard core baseball fans (we average 10 or more different stadiums each Summer, with 30 or more games each Summer), we have lots to compare this. Low prices, great baseball, accessible staff and players, the only drawback I can think of is the fact that you do have to make a very concerted effort to get here. It's on the edge of town, and Round rock is not a top touristy destination. Austin is close, but is just far enough away, that it's a hike to get here.

the ballpark is clean, ample parking, a great variety of food choices and lots of specialty nights.
The fireworks nights are especially nice. Theyre are lots of things to do with fidgety kids too. All at a good price!!!!

Visited the ballpark for the July 4th festivities. The park is amazing. It is probably as good or better than some of the major league parks. Not a bad single seat in the house.
The whole environment is very family friendly. Ushers are super helpful and want you to have fun. The whole staff genuinely cares. There ire a lot of family friendly activities throughout the park. Bungy, pool, basketball court, inflatables - you name it. There is also lawn seating option. The price can't be beat.
Fireworks were very good and an added bonus around this time of the year.
Lots of food options as well. Regular ballpark menus. All in all an excellent facility for a good family time. Will be back there again.

I've coming to The Express games since they first arrived in Round Rock in 2013. It's always a good time. There's not a bad seat in the house! It's even better now that you can go to the roundrockexpress.com and pick out which seat you want. We were sitting right behind the visitors dugout where you could hear almost everything that was said on the field. Only draw backs are monetary ones. The ticket prices are reasonable (ours were $14 a piece) but the cost of concessions are high and it's $5 to park your car.

Round Rock is a fun time for everyone, great stadium, good food selection. Minor League Baseball at its finest, Fun for the whole family.

I love the RR Express games...it can be pricey when buying snacks but worth the experience. The evening games are the best because not as hot as the day games.

I like this triple A (I think) ball park. There is a swimming pool and large play area for the kids. Usually you can sit just about anywhere you want. As is the norm, prices are a little high for food and drinks, so I think it is best to eat before you go and just get a snack.

I was offered free tickets through a Veteran organization and took my Grandson to the game with me. Everything was great from the staff to the guy pointing the way for us to park.

Went to a Round Rock Express baseball game at the Dell Diamond. It was a week night so attendance was sparse. The BBQ sandwiches from Southside Market were good, though I am not a fan of their thick potato chips. Also they have only beef, no turkey. The article in the newspaper said they had both, but that is false. There were little blurbs of entertainment between innings and in the middle of innings when one side retired. It was warm, There was a bit of a breeze, but down in the seats, it was quite still and muggy. The home team lost that night.

Highly recommend catching a game at Dell Diamond. Great atmosphere and gorgeous surroundings. Make sure to purchase tickets online prior to the game to save a couple of dollars on admission.

The stadium is very nice. Well kept up. Well located. We were more outside the stadium for the run/walk

Love baseball or not love baseball, you are going to love Dell Diamond and Round Rock Express baseball. A great family atmosphere, got kids, get on the hill, its cheap fun and great baseball. Are you a veteran, you will never be treated more fair on ticket prices than you will at Dell Diamond. Look for their promotional nights, best bargain in town. How about Friday night fireworks, traffic management is great, parking lot empties fast. Ya gotta go, everyone else does.

Great place for a game... Good comfortable areas and very good views. Family fun for all and economical.

Love minor league baseball and Round Rock Express did not disappoint! Really nice stadium, clean, inexpensive, great frozen drinks! Get a seat in the shade if it's a really hot Texas day and enjoy the game. Go express!!

Though it's the wrong team, it's a nice little ball park. Modern, fairly new, with fair prices. But, it's not Indianapolis, it's not Akron, and it's not Dayton...but if I lived in the RR area, I'd have season tix.

We LOVE going to the Express games! The staff does an amazing job, the ballpark is always clean, lively & fun! The theme nights & programs are so fun and there is always plenty of fun for groups of friends, date night or families!

They are so friendly here. We had a blast we were there, in able to go from the seats to anywhere in the stadium to see different points of view.

This is a great minor league park, outfitted with pool, basketball, jumpy play things, and all types of fun activities for the kids. It distracts a bit from the game, but it's a great way to bring the whole family and keep them involved for all 9 innigns. The wife and kids can go do other things, while you and the oldest son watch the game. Great Express store inside for garb. Decent ballpark food, and really nice grounds in Round Rock, TX brought to you by Dell. One of the better minor league parks I've seen, and good pricing for admission. They also do music shows after some games and stand alone when the team is away. There are a lot of different events held here outside of the Express.

The Express is just a fun relaxed time. The ball park is lovely and there is something for everyone. Lots of food and drinks.. fireworks on Friday night.. what more do you want?

Needed to go as part of the Pacific League, which my husband is intent on seeing all of the ballparks in this league. For him, the game is everything, for me (the non-fan) I found the facility very nice for a AAA park. The people from the gate folks to the information desk, even the vendors and the people sponsoring the game with their freebies were are making me feel like I was at home. Even when I found myself in a restricted (to patrons with a wrist band) area, the lady was pretty nice. There seems to be an onfield activity after every half inning. The food selections were Major League. The fans love their team and jump and shout better than I believe I have ever seen! It was Friday night, so there were fireworks and lots of families enjoying the entire experience. Public transportation was not available from our hotel; do not know about others.

I am not a huge sports fan but this was a fun experience! They do lots to entertain everyone and the ballpark is so nice. Great drink and food options.

The last time I went to an Express game which was a while back, there was a fan who was SO RUDE that I left the game in disgust and have never returned. If this happens to you, call and they will come talk to the person if not throw him out of the facility! In my situation the game was almost over and so it was too late to do anything.
If the game is not enticing, there will be plenty of other entertainment for you to enjoy. The summer games can be REALLY hot so try to get seats under the overhang where there's a bit of shade. Seats higher up are more likely to feel the slight breezes that may come through.

Best place on earth. I love the Express games. Always a place to sit back and relax and maybe catch a ball. My kids love it too. be prepared to walk from the parking lot to the stadium. Buy on line before game day and check out their nightly specials. Get a good seat or bring a blanket for the cheap seats on the burm. Great little place to make some noise.

Can't say enough about the experience. The price is right, the atmosphere great and food and drink are't outrageous. I just wish they were more successful on the field! It's a great way to spend an evening.

Worst game day experience possible....I calmly write this as a baseball fan that went to ASTROS games with my grandmother in The AstroDome when I was 7 years old.. Now hoping for the same experience with my kids at the DELL DIAMOND it left me disappointed and upset for my kids that will never want to go to a baseball game again,
Big loss for me, my kids and baseball.
Living in ATX I thought that I would be able to enjoy Express Games with my kids for years to come but the attitude of the staff was surprising and unexpected. DO NOT think that the staff at this stadium likes kids. I thought EXPRESS games were family friendly but they are NOT...my kids left crying and VERY scared!!!
I was very excited to go to a Round Rock Express game with one of my best friends and our 7-year-old boys. We both work long hours and time with our kids is very special. The stadium is great. The kids were very happy about the game, the good seats we purchased online and most importantly...spending time with dad.
We sat in our seats on the 3rd baseline. In the 3rd inning, our kids saw that there was nobody sitting the front row next to the Express "dugout". My kids went down to see if they could be one of the lucky ones to get a ball from a player. There was "ONE" person in the front row with literally about 20 empty seats around him. This is when the NIGHTMARE started. I kindly asked this guy if he could move over ONE seat so all of our kids could sit next to each other. His answer was "NO" and he looked away. No problem I thought. I will just sit behind the kids. Moments later an " employee" from the stadium came down and told me that "someone" said I asked him to move over, was upset and I needed to get my kids out of the seats. WAIT...nobody was sitting in the seats and NOBODY needed the seats! BTW: there were kids sitting in seats all around the dugout without tickets & having fun but they were not asked to move.
I don't need to go into more details but you get it. My kids were running down to get a baseball from an RR EXPRESS player, in a place that they thought was a SAFE environment. Then just because one angry dude complained that "kids" were in seats that were OPEN and he did not even have tickets for the "staff" at the park treated us like trash. My kids were crying and will always think of DELL DIAMOND as a scary place.

Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan & friends had a vision, build it and they will come. Traveling around the US visiting other ballparks they combined the best parts of each into Dell Diamond, home to the Round Rock Express. Great baseball at a fraction of the price. EXCEPTIONALLY family & friend friendly. The concessions exceed most found in major league parks and most definitely outdistance the Alamodome's (San Antonio) by a country mile. Get this, my $35 ticket was behind home plate, 10 rows up, fantastic. The Round Rock Express team, player, management, make attending a game special. WE WILL RETURN AGAIN & AGAIN even though we have the San Antonio Missions roughly 45 minutes away, we'll drive the extra 45 minutes just to be seated in the Round Rock Express home stadium, Dell Diamond. Nolan Ryan, thank you...

Going to a Round Rock Express game is very enjoyable, in fact it is one of the most enjoyable things to do in the whole Austin area. There is standard concession fare like hot dogs, peanuts, and cotton candy, but also TX BBQ and fish and chips. Plenty of soft drinks and beers to keep you hydrated, and plenty of family friendly diversions like a rock wall, basketball court, and the like.
The stadium has a wonderful design, every seat has a great view, but try to sit infield behind home plate if you can. The tickets are fairly cheap too and the parking is relatively inexpensive.
This is the thing to do during baseball season from April to September!

Great ballpark. The price is right and the seats are comfortable. These guys play so well, you won't know that you aren't watching a major league game. The food is good too, but a tad on the hit side. The Friday night fireworks are top of the line.

Our family of 5 went to a Round Rock Express game the other night. It was a Friday night, and there were fireworks after the game which was nice. Evening games are better, because it's not as hot. We got good seats for only $7 each, and the best part was dancing in our seats alongside the mascot "Spike", who was a blast. We spent about $90 all together(tickets, hot dogs, drinks, beer, admission to the trampoline jump for the kids, cotton candy, and parking) but we had a great night.

My husband and I went to a game just before the fourth of July. It was a ton of fun and even though RRE lost, it was a great game. I would recommend a season pass!

This was my fourth minor league stadium of the year and I wasn't disappointed. It provided me with 3 hours of entertainment at a very affordable value. Great place to bring the family.

The place is great for a family day. The only real downside is the Texas heat, so plan your day with this in mind. It can be over 100 degrees in the hottest months, inside the stadium. Parking is plentiful, but extra. There are promotional events throughout the year.

I got to visit the Dell Diamond a few months ago with some friends before I moved to Austin. The Round Rock Express has a very nice venue at the Dell Diamond. The game offers plenty of entertainment between innings etc. to keep you engaged. I am looking forward to my next visit when the weather cools off a bit.

The round rock express team do a fantastic job- always something quick and fun to watch during the games to keep everyone entertained. Close up viewing makes you feel like a part of the action. Absolutely a great family experience every time we come.

We took my 7 year old son this summer and he had so much fun. There were activities behind center field - a rock climbing wall and a bungee jumper. There was always something going on between the in inns to keep the kids interested. I would highly recommend this for a fun family outing.

What an impressive firework show! Apparently they have fireworks every Friday home game. The place was packed and the team was fun to watch. The stadium was absolutely beautiful, they had a kid zone, seating on the lawn and even a swimming pool (to be rented by corporations).
Parking is $10, our Class B RV fit well in the parking lot.
As a side note, the 2nd location of The Salt Lick is located on the far side of the parking lot so if you are a tourist like us you can knock out both great items at once.

I love baseball, always have. Got the chance to take my family to a game last night, was really excited. Pulled off the highway to park, $8. I could see why so many were parking at a nearby church. Bought three tickets, two adult, one child - $46. I thought that was high. The seats were good but not the most expensive. We bought some food, a hot dog, cracker jacks, portobello mushroom burger basket and a Hawaiian basket - $38. Beer was typical, $5 for a small. I just moved back to Texas, love the state. In my previous town there was a ball park and we would go frequently. The overall costs there were about two thirds cheaper. Oh yeah, we lost, made paying the higher prices seem higher!

If you like baseball, then this is your place. This is one of the best family events that you can spend your money on.

Two of us attended a Round Rock Express game on the afternoon of Sunday, April 14, 2019. Stadium was easy to navigate. There is a variety of food choices. Events were family friendly. We purchased tickets for reserved seats on the first base side. Our seating had a good view vantage point. We noticed many families seating on the grassy outfield areas. There is a swimming pool located on the property.
We were surprised that parking was $10.
Glad that the Round Rock Express is now part of the Astros organization again.

The Ryan brothers take care of their guests (Nolan Ryan's sons Reid and Reece). We visited several times over the summer and enjoyed every game. It is good for corporate events and you can even rent a swimming pool for your event!

Always a fun family or friend day at the ball park. Great price and not a bad seat in the house. Play Ball!

Great place to see a game. One of the best minor league parks in the country. Relatively cheap night out for the family and a great atmosphere.

It's alwaus a nice experience to watch a game at the Stadium. The seats are comfortable, the food is good and the atmosphare is always great! One BIG minus is that they charge you $ 10 for parking on top of your entry fee!

Visited for Opening Day and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the experience. Easy to park, decent variety of food for a stadium [get the hot dog sampler!!], fireworks (since it was a Friday), and they even won the game! A great baseball experience all around!

We caught a game here with the Round Rock Express against the Iowa Cubs. This is a beautiful park and a great family venue. The food choices are pretty decent (not only burgers and hot dogs) and the beer is cold -- always a plus. The employees are friendly and there is not a bad seat in the house. If you are concerned about the heat, there is an option to pay additional fees for access to the Intel section which is air conditioned. Traffic control allows easy ingress/egress. Overall this was a nice experience.

Baseball games make great memories, especially with family and friends. We usually attend Round Rock Express games with three generations of family members and all have a booming time. Toddlers and young kids love to give Spike a high-five and play on the special kid toys. Adults enjoy the eats and the great atmosphere and energy at the park, especially on Friday nights with fireworks and postgame entertainment.

This is one of our favorite family events. Nights at the ballpark are fun and relaxing. Our boys love the Friday night firework show after the game. The ballpark is beautiful and there is always something to do or watch. They even have some good food options.

Absolutely best Donuts I have ever had. Best when they are warm. I don't come to round rock often, but why I do I make sure to stop by. My only suggestion is staying open later.

We just went to support keeping Round Rock, and Surrounding Animal Shelters a no kill area for dogs. Sat on the lawn with our pups, and enjoyed the game. friendly to all ages, and pups alike. good food and drink.

I'm not a fan, but when I took my visiting 10 yr. old grandson, he said "It's almost like a real ballpark, but much smaller." But, he's a very sophisticated kid.

We took our 10 and 13 year old and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of activities for kids. The concessions are about the same you would pay at the Ballpark in Arlington, though. We expected them to be a little more reasonable. We would return.

This review is about the Round Rock Express (RRE) team and organization. You can also see my review on Dell Diamond, the RRE’s home stadium.
First, I must say this is our first visit to a Triple A or even a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) game. I was truly impressed by the facilities, organization and by the players. The players engaged with fans and children, greeting them as they entered the field and signing autographs.
The Round Rock Express organization also impressed me with the organization of the game, as well as the entertainment and promotions during the game itself. The announcer was excellent, upbeat and energetic throughout the game.
The stadium staff was also very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The environment feels more relaxed than major league, while still enjoying a great ball game.
Very well organized and informative game/team programs were distributed at the entrance.
I am very glad to have come for a Round Rock Express game and look forward to watching many more of their games in the future.

I am not a baseball fanatic, but I enjoy games at the Express. They have such a great set up with seating, even including rocking chairs for fussy babies and the lawn for a picnic type feel. It is a great place to bring your family or go with friends. The fireworks nights are so fun and festive! Very well done!

This is a great location .
I love this baseball stadium.
I love how it has activities for kids including a rock wall pool and playscape.
I would highly recommend to anyone that loves baseball.
The food is great.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We love the Express games, everyone is fun and outgoing, they have a lot of fun prizes and special days! This is great for dates, family and even business! Food is good and so are the prices. They have a wonderful kids clud too!

The Dell Diamond is a great place to watch baseball. Cheap tickets and all the seats have a good view. Only thing, don't sit on the west side when it's hot - you'll fry. There are lots of yummy places to eat and drink but they're very pricey. Thursday is the best night to go. Half off beer.

This is such a great ballpark and has hosted high school playoffs recently as well as the AAA Round Rock Express which is the league that feeds into the Texas Rangers. The food is excellent and features Nolan Ryan beef. The ballpark is also a great venue for fall crafts fairs in October. Parking is huge and wonderful, and the Salt Lick is just across the parking lot.

Before the games there is a kids activity area past the outfield. Kids can buy tickets to climb the rock wall, check your speed when throwing baseballs, jump on a trampoline, play basketball. For smaller children, there is a playground. Round Rock Express is a very good baseball team. In between innings, there is something that will be entertaining to see. Good food! For families. Friday nights are fireworks nights! Parking in the ball park lot is about $7.00.

Go see a ball game or a concert. I recommend popping by the Cork and Barrel Irish Pub before or after the game or concert. Great spot to link up with friends and family.

Long time baseball fan and heavy duty Chi. Cub fan. Moved to RR 21 years ago. Last year my prayers were answered...Go Cubbies! As far as Dell Diamond goes it is awesome. Good views from any seat, great ballpark food, friendly staff and vendors, AND...the ballpark is CLEAN. My wife appreciates that. Go and have a good time. Only area that can be difficult is traffic and parking. That probably can be said about most ballparks.

Had a great time with our kids at the ball game. Really glad they had added Jack Allen's when we went - awesome food. Aso great to grab dinner at the Salt Lick before or after (our favorite BBQ in TX)

I have been a season ticket holder with RR EXpress for at least 8 years. We have good seats and we love going to the baseball games. I think that if you are looking for a wholesome family outing this is the place to go. Lots for the kiddos to do in the fun zone and good food to purchase from any of the vendors. Lastly, the fireworks are great and the kids sure do like them.

Great smaller baseball park so it's easy to have good seats. They even have lawn seats which are very cheap and the younger children like to run around. They have a playscape and other kid entertainment so they don't get bored.

The staff was friendly and our group was well taken care of. The park food was good but a little more expensive then the ranger ball park which I'm used too.

We've been Express fans since we've moved here in 2006. We go to as many games as we can. Great baseball stadium. Very family friendly, Great baseball! Go...you won't regret it!

If you love baseball then you must come to Round Rock, Tx and visit the Dell Diamond. The atmosphere, layout of the park itself, amazing consessions, gifts and seating 360 degrees all the way around the park is totally amazing. There is not a bad seat in the house...guaranteed!!!

I love the Dell Diamond. They know how to do it right. I love the stadium and all that it offers. The latest Beer Garden addition was a great touch. Cool place to take friends, family, business friends and a date.

we went as a family of 5, and had a blast. we sat in the covered balcony out in the outfield, and it was a great idea, since it poured while we were there.

Very clean ball park and there's a lot of different activities for everyone to be involved in besides just the ball game and they have a awesome fire work display!!

Just does not get any better. Formerly Texas Rangers and now Houston Astros affiliate you’ll love watching a game here with food and cold beverages. Sit on the third base side for evening shade.

This is a really nice ballpark. My kids were able to interact with the players and get pictures and autographs. The only downside is the price of food. 3 hot dogs and 3 large sodas and it cost me more than $30. Still it was a fun night and glad we went.

Thanks for such a great warm welcome to your Dell Diamond Stadium, home to the Round Rock Express. There was a total of 8 adults and 1 infant that attended their 1st ever Express game. It was bobble head night for Mr, Nolan Ryan and of course the liquid sunshine appeared. The game was called off due to the weather in the area. This didn't stop the staff of the Express to keep the smiles on their faces as well as well as being very helpful and informative.
We love Ms. Nancy (of 16 years) at the Guest Service booth. She and her co-worker were able to answer all of my questions and concerns about if "rain" delays where and what do we need to know as well as if the game is called due to weather.
We were so excited to find out that our tickets and parking pass is still good for an upcoming game. Just call In advance to get it all set up. Looking forward to seeing a baseball game at your field.

Love this ball park and even more love my Round Rock Express! Doesn't matter if you have an infield reserved seat or general lawn ticket in the outfield you can always pickup a ticket to the Intel club and enjoy the game from the indoor AC cooled restaurant from above. Atmosphere, amenities and service is better than any major or minor league park I have been to in the last 10 years. You can even enjoy the game from the 'on location' swimming pool they put in a couple of seasons ago.

There is just something about heading to the ballpark in the summer..great family activity or date night and the fireworks on the weekends make it all the more special!

Very affordable and fun night out with the family! Everything was convenient and clean. Glad we came!

This such a great experience for the whole family. Plenty of things to keep the kids busy and if you like baseball you must go to a game.

When we visit Round Rock was always try to get to a game. This is my favorite ballpark! Beautiful setting and lots of fun. I do prefer night games since it is much color.

Baseball Fans will love it. Every seat in the house is a great seat. You can even bring your blanket and sit on the grass with the kids.

One of best minor league places in the country. The friendliest staff, good value and entertainment for the dollar. Reasonable prices and good food.

Variety for everyone, 100% family friendly and very affordable
Ample parking and wide variety of concessions to choose from

Great Stadium, great food, great service! Easy on/off for autos and parking is good - not having to walk. This is the TX Rangers Farm Team. Come out to see the up and coming and enjoy a beautiful nite. Bring Sunscreen and Mosquito spray and check the weather! An old TX saying, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute, it will change!"

First time visiting here and it was great. I have traveled to about 40 or 50 minor league ballparks and this one is in my top 10-15. Well worth visiting.

We had a great time. They always select someone to sing the National Anthem who can do it justice, and our last visit was no exception. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and it truly has an "everyone's your neighbor" feel. Add to that the fact that you never know what major leaguer who is rehabbing might show up and it's just a great evening of entertainment. We got to see Josh Hamilton right here in Round Rock! It was such a thrill. We've also been out there when Matthew McConahey and Roger Clemens were there. But, the most important thing to us is that every time we go out there it is clean, safe and wholesome.

It's always a nice casual time with good food vendors. I love the carnitas nachos from the vendor behind home plate.

Great park, food and team. One of the best minor league franchises in the country. If you love baseball, it is a must.

This stadium has it all... several genres of food, a grassy area berm, an area with rocking chairs, rock climbing, and even a swimming pool. The special attractions can be expensive, but people on a budget can have a great time as well. Intimately built; doubt there's a bad seat in the whole stadium.

I absolutely LOVE to go see the Round Rock Express play ball every summer. Especially on Friday nights! We get to enjoy fireworks after the game! Such a great time with the family....

Going to an express game is certainly a family affair. Reasonable prices, good food, a nice safe environment and a lot of fun.

My son and I go all the time to watch the Express. All the seats are great, lots of choices for food and drink. Daily specials. The people are all friendly.
Not to mention - the BASEBALL
Whether you are a resident or just visiting, this is a great night out!

This is a great place to catch a game. Parking and refreshments are just as expensive as a MLB park. The food and beverage options are creative. There are things for the kids to do. Not a bad seat in the park.

Great venue, great fun. The private lounges are excellent. The vending food when in the stands needed help.

Love the feel of the LIVE baseball game. The announcers and music and games keep it lively. The food is a little pricey - but, a nice treat!

We used to have season tickets when they first came to town. Having girls involved in sports, however, left us traveling quite a bit. Enjoyed the atmosphere of being back at the Dell Diamond! Great food, great game and great atmosphere. Even got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. You can't go wrong.

Really nice ballpark to watch our own Round Rock Express play ball. Park has a children's play area, plenty of variety of food vendors. Always fun to take in a game there.

This is a great minor league park. Seats are great with a n affordable price range. Good concessions and food trucks available. Great ball for the kids and parents alike. Parking is fairly easy. There are lots of restaurants nearby if you want to grab a bite before or after. Just a fun time for all.

that is clean, user friendly, and puts on a great show! Triple A baseball in a most enjoyable setting. All seats are good. The prices are reasonable. We went on $1 hot dog night so our grandson had a great time!

We first visited Dell Diamond last year and was so impressed we retuned again this year. It is a new diamond (3 yrs?) and ver child friendly. There isn't a bad seat in the park and is very affordable. There is rock climbing, basketball, swimming and a couple rides all for the kids. Plus the great game of baseball for the adults. The park is very clean.

This is a fabulous place for baseball! There is not a bad seat in the house. Safe and fun place to take your kids or great way to unwind from a hectic day!

The Express experience leaves much to be desired. The stadium is clean, modern, and has great sight lines. It is also very expensive. The stadium food choices were varied but often not very tasty. There were a few local beers available but all were at major league prices. Parking was also expensive for minor league play. If you go, try Friday night as they do put on a very nice fireworks show. Expect your exit out from parking to be very slow however.

This is an excellent small stadium. Easy to get around in, good food choices, family friendly, and can't-be-beat prices. I love to catch a couple of games each season.

There is something for everyone and every age. I was invited to go with a friend. When I went, had box seats and it was awesome. You could be in A/C or out in the bleachers. You could even watch the game on closed circuit TV. Food and drink could be delivered to the box or you could go to a convenient concession to order. There is a playground for kids. And 7th inning stretch entertainment. We had a great time.

The Round Rock Express is a well maintained, family oriented and very pretty. Parking is ample and not a lot of walking. There is a pool and kids area. Be sure to browse through the shop before you leave. A good time will be had by all.

The Round Rock Express games are always so fun! Besides the game itself, you can rock climb, swim, etc. depending on the time of the game, though, you may be sitting in the hot Texas sun. Dress accordingly, wear sunscreen and bring a hat and sunglasses!

One of the best minor league parks in the country.
The prices are good. The facilities are great. The customer service is excellent.
We always catch a game when we come to town.
If you love baseball, make sure to get some tickets.
Plenty for kids to do. Good food.
High level, AAA baseball.

Great time at the ballpark. Good food, great for friends and families. Fireworks on Fridays the best!!

We drive four hours to catch an Express or a Rangers Game, and especially with the family The Express games are by far our favorite. Players are friendlier, balls easier to catch, food is better, seats are cheaper. This is an amazing park. There is even some shade on the berm for cheap family fun.

I really appreciated the fact that the facility here was so clean. I did not see one piece of trash on the ground nor restroom which makes for a great experience. BUT I FIND THE PRICES OF WATER,BEER,FOOD ETC Overpriced. TIP: Eat before you visit. Unless you want to pay $10 for one hotdog and $11 for a overly sugary marg.

Good baseball, friendly staff, easy to park and have other things like rock climbing and a pool in the baseball park (but think you have to rent the entire pool to use).

Very fan friendly; tons of things to do for the family with kids, if they are not that into baseball and such a beautiful ballpark. Really gorgeous. $10 to park.

I went to check this place out after recently moving to the area. People were friendly. The staff seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The entertainment between innings was great. There was a playground for kids who may get bored watching a baseball game. Seems like a great place to bring your family, and not expensive.

while at our 11 year boys baseball tournament we could attend an Express game as part of the package. Unfortunately, our seats were located in the sun and the heat was so unbearable we couldn't even sit in them. Players were not supposed to be charged but at last minute when we are at the gate to go in they say boys have to pay too. WHAT A JOKE!
Concessions are good quality but overpriced and charge you $5 for cup of ice in 108 degree scorching heat...unbelievable!! Left in third inning when couldn't take it any longer as only shade was in crowded walkways. Horrible experience especially taking advantage of the boys and the heat/water situation. Never Again!

A small sized stadium with great views of the field. A triple A ball club that has it's ups and downs but provides a good game to watch most times I've gone. A little pricey on parking and beverages though.

never having being to a baseball game, i was invited by a friend who is a fan and he had tickets. everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was wonederful. despite not knowing anything about baseball people around me took time to explain how it happened. I trully enjoyed the Americas favourite past time game thanks to Round rock express. ill definitely go back at the end of the semester. Plus they had fireworks at the end. :)

Came here a few days ago. Great experience. Just the nicest people working here. Dont know where they got them all from. Only negative is concessions are rip off.

My kids loved the train and three huge inflatables to play on before the game. They enjoyed getting ballon animals, the game itself and all the fun activities between innings

Round Rock Express games are a fun way to spend a summer evening. Minor league ball usually has a lot of hitting, so there's some action, and this particular ball park has some really good food and quality beer. Prices for that are inflated, which is typical, but not astronomical, and the selection is surprisingly good. If you can bring a radio to listen to the game while you watch, the announcing adds a lot of color and fun.

Great place to catch a baseball game - not pro but still great to watch. Round Rock is a nice town too

Great venue. Good level of play and very close to the action at a great price! Second trip, and was as good as first.

Super nice ball park. The environment is good, clean and a great place for the family. Nice local outing.

This place was spectacular. Being from San Francisco I am spoiled by the SF Giants ATT Park. This Round Rock Express Park is equally as nice. Yes it is smaller, but I was blown away by all the food, drink and entertainment venues inside the park. The Salt Lick BBQ restaurant in the parking lot was also fun. Definitely visit this place if there is a game in town.

We went to Dell Diamond or Round Rock Express field for a Camp Gladiator Games event. The entire day was a blast, and the overall facilities were great for the event.

If you love Baseball you must stop and take In a game here. This team is a Texas Rangers affiliate and getting to see some of these young players making their dreams come true is a fun experience to be a part of. Not a bad seat in the house!

A Great Venue... soft summer breezes, snow cones, a bit of fireworks, some rock and roll music ... and some great athletes playing America's game! Parking is easy... during the week less than 5 minutes... maybe 15 on a big weekend game day. If you worry about too much sun, get seats to the left of home plate (south) and to the top. Also, if you don't like steps, buy tiks on the top row. You will only need to be on one step. Avoid the food, 'cause it tastes manufactured. Eat in Round Rock... maybe try Jack Allen's.

Great time. Specialy the lawn area were you get to lay out on blankets. Not too expensive and very fun for a nice day out.

Whether going out with a social group, or just a family outing, the Round Rock Express at the Dell Diamond provide an affordable, fun experience. If you're a baseball fan, get ready for some exciting games. If you just want to experience the "stadium experience" for a few bucks this can't be beat.

I'm not a baseball fan but I'm a huge fan of cheap, fun outings with the family. Oh, and nachos. I'm a fan of nachos.
Round Rock Express is a great time for families, work get-togethers, or scouts. We like the grassy area so the kids can run around and we don't spend too much money.
Concessions are amazing.

This is minor league baseball with a major league feel. No seat is a bad seat. Concessions are good. Nice Park for an evening of baseball. Now and then you will see major league players on rehab assignment or former major leaguers trying to get back to the show. Good baseball. Fun evening for families and friends.

Because of injury, sitting on ground was not very comfortable, but we had a great time nevertheless.

Great Family Fun. Comfortable and clean. Fun to enjoy a game with so many others cheering, laughing.

Love going to the Round Rock Express games! We live minutes from the field and love to see all the games we can here!

We've been attending games here since 2000. Our kids grew up here. It's always been a safe, clean and beautiful venue. Love to be outside in the evenings and support the local team!

Easiest entertainment you could ever ask for!
Four generations (6 to 83) spent a wonderful evening enjoying Triple A baseball. The ballpark is wonderfully accessible: comfortable, clean, and friendly. Great parking and seating. Good food served by wonderful staff. We’d have season tickets if we lived in the area.

As good as it gets to watch a baseball game. There's not a bad seat in the house and the staff there makes it a first class experience. Plenty of promotions to make sure you get your money's worth! Can't miss Friday night fireworks!

Dell Diamond is an excellent destination to enjoy a family outing. The field is small enough to provide an intimate & affordable baseball experience. The Round Rock Express is the Triple A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and we often see major league players on rehabilitation play here. Climbing wall & play area in outfield to provide additional fun for the children. Fireworks on Fridays during summer. Tickets are $8-$16.

The park is well kept and entry is cheap. They have fireworks on Friday so that is a bonus. Beer is less expensive on Thursdays. And some nites they have door buster give aways.

I have been to Round Rock Express so many times that I lost the count... my house is in the neighborhood just behind the park so I can watch Friday Night Fire Works from the comfort of my backyard but watch the games there is great. It is not a big stadium so you can feel very comfortable inside it. The green field is the best place to go with kids because they can watch the game, play with other kids, roll in the green and you spend a few hours of entertainment.

Ticket costs were in mid range. Food was good but almost same cost as a Big League park. Fun for family....but too many give aways.... Overall nice experience. Gets HOT !!!!

A wonderful family experience that just so happens to have a baseball game going on. There are playscapes for kids, plenty of activities for kids of all ages & no a bad seat in the place

Dell Diamond is the home of Triple AAA affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Some of these minor leaguers make it up to the Majors. And, some of the Rangers come down here for rehab. This is my favorite baseball stadium. It is a friendly atmosphere. The volunteers and the paid staff go out of their way to welcome everyone and treat you special.

We went there on the Fourth of July and had an OK time. The game was decent, and the events and fireworks were pretty good. I am most got one of two balls that were hit toward us during the game, but the negatives seem to outweigh the positive's in my mind. One : group of drunken people sat behind me and made the game unpleasant. I feel the back of my shirt was covered in beer from them sloshing it back-and-forth and screaming profanities at the players. Also, one of them fell on me trying to catch one of the balls that I mentioned earlier. This kind of ruined that for me. The worst experience for this event really had to be the parking lot. We pay $10 to park all the way in the back of the parking lot and after the game spent an hour and a half trying to get out of the parking lot with drunk people swerving around us at every turn. I would recommend going to the stadium on an off day, maybe a weekday. Lastly, take out a small loan if you would like to get any concessions. Everything cost money, everything.

Fun place to take the family. Clean bathrooms, food is so so. The nacho chips were old, the frozen margaritas were ok.

We have been to this park many times and have never had a bad experience. It has always been a fun, safe, family friendly experience..
Family fun
Great experience. Staff at the ball park are friendly. Great game and fireworks after
I would recommend it for both old and young people. Good selection of food and great prices for the seats
