Lots if reasonably priced clothing . I Sho here every year to find great deals and to get brand named thungs.

The outlets are huge and has amazing shopping. There is a store for everyone including build a bear. Lots of great stores!

I noticed an advertisement from Premier Outlets for locals. As a local I would receive discounts Monday thru Thursday AND a free gift on Wednesday! I’m all for discounts when I need something. The guest service employee was pleasant and helpful. It was fun playing “scratch off” to determine my Wednesday gift . I had two choices and the leather (?) notebook I chose isn’t a bad giveaway at all. Not all stores participate, luckily the one I needed does. Using my discount was easy. Locals this is worth the less than five minutes it takes.

This place is not what I would consider an outlet. The stores I walked into were high end retailers. They did not have outlet pricing so it can be deceiving. There is alot ro look at though. Some of the stores do turn their noses up at you though. I could afford to buy from any of them but not with the attitudes they have.

Awesome options, all in one facility! Usually try to stop at the outlets wherever I visit. All outdoors, and great deals! Would definitely pitstop as it's easy on and off the highway.

Great stores and values. Check online for coupons before you visit. Ask for coupons at the service center.

The San Marcos Premium outlets have AMAZING deals. Their North Face outlet was selling shirts for $8.99. The Armani Exchange store had fantastic deals. If you like PacSun, you need to go to this mall; they had the best sales at PacSun I have ever seen. I recommend going to the outlet mall if you're in San Marcos. There is also good food close and inside the mall.

Lonnie review. Great place to go wide variety of businesses great that we live close by. To enjoy it. Just saying

Recently was in town for business and spent some extra time at the outlet mall. This is a great mall filled with great stores of all types. Tried to walk the whole thing but my feet gave out. Definitely hope to return soon.

You can find anything and everything here!! Great selection of stores, and most have pretty good deals.

This outlet has some great stores but some of the employees do not greet you unless you seem to wanna break bank. I am slow shopper so if I am not greeted I feel my money isn't welcome and certain stores have been slacking

Every imaginable brand is here. Massive place with hundreds of stores. Better focus on what you need otherwise you might waste a week roaming around. Most stores offer good deals. Some are a total waste of time. Overall it is definitely worth the visit.

This place is awesome, so many stores to shop till you drop. And Tanger Outlet is next door- pretty awesome.

Seems like every outlet is on sale. Most outlet offer great discount offer. 1 day shopping is definitely not enough to comb thru all the store.

This a huge outlet. There are tons of shops to choose from.
It goes in a big circle with the parking lot in the middle. Didnt see places to eat but check their website directory

We stopped here to break up the journey back to Austin. Unlike some other outlet malls there are fantastic bargains to be had here. Add to this that the place is huge. Good mix of shops, too - great variety of stuff and mix of prices.
We were only hindered by our luggage allowance and shopping fatigue.
For those who still have energy after this there is a whole separate lower end outlet right next door....

The Prime(Premium) Factory Outlet stores vastly differs from other Prime and Tanger Outlet malls in that there are many higher end companies at the Premium Outlet. The Tanger Outlet is on the other side of Centerpoint Road. Yes, there are repeated stores as well. The higher end stores on the north end of the shopping center include stores like Ugg, Lacoste, Tumi, Tory Burch, Juicy Culture, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Kate Spade, Niemann Marcus, Prada, North Face and Johnston & Murphy. The traditional stores include but not limited to Oakley, Victoria Secret, Sony, Bose, Gap, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Addidas, Rockport, and so on. There are about 140 stores to include the eating places(Subway, Auntie Anne's, etc.)
This place can get really crowded on the weekends and it's not impossible to have a great shopping experience. There is ample parking in the rear. On Centerpoint road, go past the 4-way entrance and go past Victoria Secrets(to your left). Make your left into the rear parking lot and drive about halfway down. There is a food court you can cut through and a few other cut-throughs. They are open from 10-9 M-Sat., but if you are a big shopper, you may need more than 1 day. This is an outdoor outlet with main parking right in the middle. During certain times of the year, you can find tremendous savings. I have always enjoyed every trip here, even if it's just to window shop. They have a tax office behind the Bose store where the restrooms are if you are from out of the country to claim your taxes back. Save your shopping receipts to utilize the service. I recommend starting on the Niemann Marcus Last Call side and work in the southward direction toward Centerpoint Rd. to avoid the crowds.

Awesome place to shop. Tons of Name Brand places, filled with discounts that you would not find in a retail store. I have discount on Nike, Adidas, in Zumiez, Coach, Michael Kors, and the list goes on. If your in San Marcos, its a must to stop here.

Stopped for dinner while staying in area. eXtensive Mexican menu with lots of combo options if it is hard to choose. We had quesadillas and they were deliciously filled with beef, chicken and shrimp. Prices are reasonable for both food and drinks. Good service. Recommend.

Yesterday, Aug 12-2019, I drove 45min to this outlet. The interstate is having some work and you have to take detours if you are going there from the San Antonio Riverwalk area. At first, I was confuse with the Tanger outlet ( is just in front of the premium outlet), then I drove to San Marcos. The place is big, there is not enough tree to park under the shadows. The food court doesn’t have a lot of options and the place just looks old. It has great brand names stores (coach, Nike, UA, BCBG, etc) but the price is like going to a regular store. During free tax weekend is very crowded. For me it was just a waste of time!

Although a little far from Austin, this is a good outlet venue. The variety of stores are more than adequate and the prices were considered lower than what we used to see. Lots of parking spaces. Very weak of food options. Go prepared.

Not the level of service I have had at this store before, but found what I was looking for. Clerks did tell about the sale but were more interested in chatting with each other.

One of the reasons we travel down to San Antonio is to visit the outlet mall. You can easily spend 7 hours walking around the incredible number of shops. Sales can be amazing after the major holidays so make sure you car is empty on the way down as it will be packed with bags on the way home.

Stopped by since we were in the area. Huge number of retailers, many higher end. I was fortunate to find several items that I haven’t been able to find in the big box stores- but they were here, at a discount. Price wasn’t as important for me as finding the particular item. All in all, I was glad to have a successful experience.

Great great shopping as well as values for name brand merchandise and the area is so nice and clean.

Nice job w the Venetian motif on the RH side of the shopping area.this place is enormous ...everything bigger in TX ? I guess wow.
Pottery barn/williams
Sonoma home was good selection and pricing... same w RH, I would track when they get shipments, how to get pieces delivered and call before I drove here . appreciated the higher end like Ferragamo , Stuart Weitzman, Burberry , Vince , Prada, Gucci ...did not see Tods , Louie or Hermès which would’ve been nice .
And some standbys like vineyard vine, Tory , Lulu , J crew and adidas were there..
Premium coupons I printed proved useless . Overall pricing was OK , but not great and many places had made for outlet items ( j drew abs vineyard) so I don’t consider that a discount from retail..just possibly lower quality brand erosion?
Victoria secret and Michael Kors had such long lines -were they giving away free stuff? Can’t imagine waiting in a line. Mall doesn’t open until 11am on a weekend? I like to get in and out early w a plan for the few shops I am going to for planned items to beat crowds ...stopped through Gruen on way to SA from
Austin so this needed to open much earlier . Once it got
Going..the parking and traffic were ridiculous ..so would not return unless I planned a weekday and again arrived before it opened w a precise plan of stores. Outlet shopping is not enjoyable...it’s smart shopping for luxury goods, furniture/larger items that you can accept an imperfection or commodity buys like vans or Nike underwear/activewear that make sense to get for less .

Great selection of stores and easy on and off the interstate. Really good sales the night I was shopping. There are some mid priced and high end shops here so something for everyone.

Lots of stores, pretty easy to get around even in holiday crowds. However merchandise was less than impressive in many stores. Lots of damaged product sold at premium prices. Or inferior products, hideous colors etc. Not our thing.

Location next to Tanger Outlets makes this great - over 320 stores between the two malls.
Area is huge and parking lot layout a bit odd in the dark - but the selection of stores is top class. Not sure if prices always that good - but the convenience of location and variety of stores more than makes up for that.

The outlets are located in a medium size, college town (San Marcus, TX) located on I - 35. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Come to the outlets with an empty suitcase: it will be dull when you go home!

The San Marcos Premium Outlet is a massive complex full of name brand stores, that form a huge circle around the parking lot. These outlets have brands such as, Coach, Fossil, Citizens, Under Armour, Gucci, etc, One can spend an entire day going store to store. It has a great location right off the highway, so getting there is not a problem, it's exiting the complex that might have some issues, due to the small number of entrances/exits around the facility. Like most outlets it does have food vendors providing fast food mostly. Overall this isn't a bad way to spend an afternoon w/ family or the your spouse, lots to see, walk , and buy.

I had been in many outlets. This One is far away the the best.
I love that it has many varíety of shops

I love stopping here so much. Lots of great stores for really nice prices. Ex) Pottery barn, Tory Burch, Northface.
I would caution against coming during holiday weekends. It gets super busy and parking is a nightmare.
Also, this place is gigantic, so take in consideration the Texas heat. It can be intense.

This Outlet Mall is very nice. The various stores offer a very wide array of shopping experiences for anything you could be looking for. If you go onto the Outlet website, you can purchase a savings booklet for $5 that can be used in a lot of different stores within the Mall. Their is also a trial on the website, so you can look at the stores before purchasing the savings booklet. This Outlet Mall does provide very good deals for those looking for them. Their are technically two different Outlets but they sit right next to one another. One of the Outlets contains Premium Stores and the other has more of stores for everyone. The only thing I would change is I wish they had motorized carts for those who cannot walk long distances. I would recommend this Outlet Mall to anyone looking for good deals.

Long day but did a lot of shopping. We saved a lot of money, bought christmas presents and winter clothes. Nice experience. Great stores

We went there last Friday and I was amazed for how big the place is and the amount of stores and brands . You can find anything!! Great prices and great variety!! Really worth it!! Parking was fine, a little crowded though.

So many shops to see! Great parking for an outdoor mall. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great shopping trip.

This is advertised as a premium outlet center, but half price Tommy Bahama T-shirt’s are still $38!
The strip mall box layout is nice during winter and shoulder season, but quite hot in the summer.

My experience at San Marcus premium outlet is totally different than the tanger outlet. While I enjoyed the tanger side, the premium side consists mostly of the high level expensive brands such Prada, Burberry and Gucci. The employees at Prada were so mean, they started speaking Chinese, and they were looking at me, and no one offered to help me out. Burberry employees acted as I was not exist, and Dooney and Bourke cashier got so irritated when I asked her a simple question. Most the stores that I visited I didn’t get any help, or no one asked even to help ( expect salvatore ferragamo store which has the nicest and most professional employees). The weird thing about the premium outlet that some stores that have location on each side treat you differently if you are at the premium or the tanger location.

Lots of great top stores. Huge outlet mall covers several blocks. Wear your walking shoes. Most high end stores are there.

Really need to check the map, get an idea where everything are location and plan what store to visit. MK, Coach, Gucci...still pricey, but they are luxury brand. There's not much of a food court. There is a Johnny Rocket Restaurant, old time burger and shakes. Lots of parking. Do watch for other drivers that are not looking where they are going.

I took my teenage daughters to the outlet mall to celebrate their hard work and help them get prepared for the upcoming school year. We had a great time and we were able to find reasonable deals.

Nice clean place to stroll around and shop with a good selection of stores. If you are a savy shopper, you will realize the prices are not really sale prices. If you are in town, stop by but don't make it your destination.

This outlet mall has a lot of different stores from luxury to budget. The Victoria Secret outlet had a lot of bargains and was organized and clean. The Pottety Barn was huge with a lot of furniture and cookware. The location is right between Austin and San Antonio which was convenient.

Huge outlets with many branded shops around. Very convenient if you have lot of stuffs to buy and can easily spend one whole day at his place.

This place is gigantic. I was impressed with all the stores at this outdoor mall. We went in August and it was very hot, so dress for the heat.

so many stores with discounts, and a very nice shopping plaza, many good brands stores, and nice people

Love this outlet. Whenever I go to SanAntonio, I stoped by there. I like to shopping at Neiman Marcus, Tumi, Frrragamo, Gucci, etc…

This outlet mall is ok to shop other than clothes, good for perfume and other item clothes very expensive, foodcourt doesn't offer too much choice also very expensive, same with food cart, I'll suggest to eat outside.

We usually get to go shopping when company comes, but today dinner prep was nearly complete when the family and friends decided to go. With little traffic and parking spaces galore, we've decided this is the best time to go. Sales staff were attentive and smiling and it was an enjoyable day. Next time, try waiting, it was fun.

This is a great outlet and competes with most of the ones we have visited - has almost all the stores you could want!!!
Plenty of parking and space to walk around - we spent a whole day there!
Would highly recommend

Our German guests filled the car with bargains like they had never seen before. I predict a trip to the luggage store before they are able to get on their return flight.

This outlet centre was great value. It is just outside San Antonio. We Uber and it was quite cheap. We got fabulous bargains at the Michael Kors shop.

Been here since 11 and haven't made it half way through. They have the only Dooney Burke's outlet here in Tx. If you're a purse lover come visit. Restaurants are placed throughout the area. Stores range from Old Navy and Toys R Us to Prada.

Always love coming to these outlets. They have all the main brands . Very tidy and well-kept, enjoy the beautiful flowers in summer. My favorite store is beef jerky outlet where I can buy my favorite South African “biltong”! Parking, WiFi, open all day every day.

San Marcos premium outlet maybe the best in the country. Get your walking shoes on. And then there is "the other" outlet mall across the street!

The best. We can find everything here. Highly recommended to visit these outlets with major savings.

We're from Oklahoma and don't have the convenience of outlet malls but decided to stop while in the area. The Michael Korr's store is amazing, I found a $348 handbag for $113, got a great deal on a NorthFace coat for my 8-year old and had a great time shopping in the Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma store! If you're in the area, definitely stop by!!!!!

This is a great outlet mall. All of the usual stores and a great upscale store collection that you don’t find at every outlet! Very conveniently located off 35 and easy to get to. Definitely worth a stop.

Went with the family - shoppers paradise. Found the place really good for all the shops you need - get the vouchers booklet from the vending machine as you save a lot at the shops using the vouchers
Go on a weekday, avoid weekends

ASICS and Nike stores were great with good size ranges and stock available. Staff friendly and helpful. We were there during the week so parking was easy and we could drive to park outside each store instead of walking in the heat.

Been visiting the outlets here for many years. Unlike some malls, this one has high quality stores with reasonable prices but not cheap. It has grown over the years but still maintains high quality items and a variety of item. Food court is excellent as well. When friends come to visit this is one ofthe placesImshowwith proud here in San Marcos.

This is a great outlet mall and there are tons of stores to choose from. Spent about 2 hours and not nearly enough time.

Our German visitors love this place! I have been outshopped by the best! The car was full, we were exhausted, and had to get a hotel room before continuing our trip.

Good place to shop with families. It's outdoors, so rough in the summer, but overall a good experience. We have been to this location numerous times and have always enjoyed finding good deals.

My wife stopped here on forth of July weekend on our way back to Houston. It was in the midst of the Covid 19 case surge in TX, so we were cautious. We drove around the parking lot (huge) and parked near stores we wanted visit. All were responsible controlling the number of customers in the store as necessary, offering hand sanitizer or even requiring its use upon entering. One inconvenience was that some stores did not allow the use of fitting rooms. The return policy for some of those stores was a generous 60 days, but if there was no outlet store near you or you were not planning on returning to San Marcos during that time, you would think twice about purchasing. Other stores did allow the use of fitting rooms and sanitized the stalls as soon as customers would leave them.
As a side note, if someone was looking for cool/cold weather items that were typically sold during winter months, there was A LOT of DEEPLY discounted stock - presumably due to the pandemic.

This is still the largest outlet mall complex I’ve ever visited. You could spend days here. There are many places to visit when traveling with young children.
The Disney outlet is probably the best I’ve seen.

The shops are very nice even with covid restrictions in place (limited people in store, masks worn). We arrived before the stores open and stood in line 15 minutes before opening then another 20 before we were allowed in. So my advise is arrive early go directly to your number one shopping choice and have on comfortable shoes!! Once the area filled up with people the traffic became stand still. Terrible!!! We decided to leave instead of continuing our shopping. We did enjoy the four stores we went into.

There are two sets of outlet malls here, a Premium outlet on one side of the road, and a Tanger outlet mall on the other side with a different set of stores. I am not a big shopper, but I did spent a couple hours walking around and hitting some of the stores. Overall, I thought a good selection of stores and I got some good quality clothing at a reasonable price. If you like outlet malls, this is a good one.

2 outlet centers across the road from each other . Wear your walking shoes. One Centre seems to be more upscale with coach, Michael Kor, Victoria secrets. The other side has the more average banana republic, Nautica, shoe shops, Levi etc. they have maps to assist you find everything and enormous car parks. Incredibly busy on a Saturday . There is the tax refund shop to claim back tax for those from other areas - not all shops are involved in this but most are. There are food outlets around the outside of Tangers outlet and the more upmarket one has a food court. I think you could find everything and anything you needed here. You can google the centers and get list of all the shops - I think it was amazing there were so many so close to each other.

i am not a shopping person but even by the time we left we were unable to carry the amount of bags we had.. it was impossible to resist... if visiting during summer make sure you carry plenty water with you...

Super good place to shop cheaply. However, not all well-known brands give you the same benefit from shopping, but in general it is good money to save.

I love shopping here at the outlet mall. I have been here before. There are a lot of nice shops. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The two outlet malls in San Marcos set the standard for outlet shopping. Between the two they have everything you would want. Right on i35 so easy to find lots of hotels and restaurants in the area. Something for ebrryone

Mostly clothing stores. Hot between stores and crowded walkways. No rest areas or eateries. Really far between stores..

The mall is very accesible from I 35. Its been about 20 years since my last trip to this mall. There were not many really discounted items. I believe with the internet people are doing most of their bargain shopping on line. Disappointing and probably wont return.

We stopped intending to only visit Pottery Barn. We went there and I did buy a quilt at a very nice price. Of course, we found ourselves wondering from shop to shop looking at various products, trying to snag bargains. There are a lot of nice things at this outlet and I think you would enjoy spending a few hours here walking around.

Here today, no parking. They have a parking lot roped off and are charging for “easy parking”. Ridiculous. We left and did not spend any money here.

We were there for a conference but decided to stop by for bargains. We had a good sale on some brands like samsonite Michael kors coach etc but you need to have a purchase with minimum sales tax of $12.00 to get tax free refund if you are non-Us citizens and they charge you a commission fee but at least you get some money back

Had a nice shopping experience here. So many upper end stores with some good bargains. Very good parking as my grandson has issues walking distances so we shopped then drove to another area for more shopping with spaces available. In each store the employees were welcoming and helpful. Wish we had an outlet of this caliber close to home. There is a Tanger Outlet across the street but the store choices weren't as plentiful some even duplicates of this outlet.

Great deals!! Amazing store for everyone in the family! We love all the different stores. We enjoy discovering new store's too at the outlet.

Nice amount of stores! We really liked the variety of stores in the same outlet mall. It was easy to access from I-35.

I love to shop but not in enclosed areas like malls. I really enjoyed shopping at the retail stores here in accordance to what I need or was looking for. The prices were not bad, lots of sales. We made out like bandits. lol

Exceptional outlets mall. My wife loved it. We spent 4-5 hours here. Great selection of stores. Attractive layout. Great service in all individual stores we visited. Will return.

So many shops and choices. Very good sales when I went. It is so big you really need a car to get around it.

Lots of shops! Lots of walking! Some really good values. Lots of choices. Something for everyone. Restaurants close. Chocolate shops. Found several fascinating finds

This is a large shopping area and even has the “other” outlet mall across street. Don’t expect a lot of bargains. It seems like they all have a “discounted” item in the front but the rest of prices are same and even more that your regular mall. Nice shaded area to sit. Also has the high end stores as well. Be prepared to walk or car hop. We did hit the semi-annual sale at Bath and Body works but could have done that at any of their stores.

Great stores and deals but get there early we got there at 11; by 2 the parking lot was full. Also the bigger brand are on both side of the outlet Tanger and Premier. There are two Tommy Hilfiger and Polo by Ralph Lauren, the Johnny Rockets there in Premier is ok.

A huge outlet where you can find almost every brand and everything you need. Nice landscape - big parking lots- sitting areas— You can enjoy the experience of shopping with your family and friends.

The premium outlet and the Tangiers outlet mall together make an outstanding collection of shops to buy from. One will find goods across prices points and categories, from shoes to clothes to luggage to kitchware to luxury items.
One can easily spend a day here picking things at a bargain. Both put together are quite big so it’s best to drive to a point, shop and then drive some more and repeat.

Visit these outlet malls as we travel and this is one of our favorites. Great stores, good selection and some real bargains. They also have a good selection of eateries. Starbucks and Johnny Rockets for when you need to take a rest!

Outstanding choice of brands. I found everything I was looking for and more. We went early in the day and avoided the crowds.

Was forced to stop in by my wife while on vacation. I told her the outlet mall in Georgetown was better. She didn’t listen. She never listens. She was actually driving since I drove 4 hours the day before. She pulled into the parking lot and found the first empty space. The entire lot was empty! We then trekked from poorly maintained store to the next. Purchasing nothing, thank god. I backtracked a mile to the car where she parked it. She found the one store amongst the hundred she NEEDED to go to, and we left. Guys! There very few benches outside, and the ones the do have are in the sun. This is not a testosterone friendly mall. Not fun.

This is a great place to save big on fashion, there is a lot of brands, with great discounts. You can even get additional discounts if you subscribe to their VIP club, on the premium outlets webpage.

If you like outlet malls this is a nice one. Very large, excellent variety. Lots of non-clothing and shoe stores, specifically including a number of restaurants and places to take a break from shopping. Easy to walk around. Can get very crowded.
I’m not sure that I saw very many bargains at the couple of stores I dropped into, but I didn’t go to all that many places.

Great shopping center with everything from Nike to Champs Sports to Coach. Great place to enjoy the day if you like to shop. Only draw back is no restaurants on property.

Lots of great shopping! Lots of places for teens. Great nail and hair places. Wonderful candy shops. The Lindt chocolate shop is the best! Be ready to walk!!

When I say big brands , it means the likes of Prada and Gucci . This is the only outlet mall inn Texas that has the luxury of such brands and is a must place to go if you are in that area

A must see/shop place, on the way to San Antonio. Great selection of shops. Decent prices. Outdoor Mall layout. Could use more shaded areas for parking.

We were so impressed with the amount of stores, variety, and prices. Basically this is one huge outlet. Tanger is on one side and premium outlets is on the other. My highlight was the North Face store. So amazing! For example, I purchased a new winter jacket for $60.00 that normally costs $170.00. In fact, I got a new jacket, polo shirt, children sandals, a child's hoodie, and an adult hoodie, all for $175.00! Boom!

A lot of shops. High dollar and economical. Very busy on the weekends, so go on weekdays or evenings. Something for everyone from furniture to clothing to jewelry and accessories to bags and luggage.

I’m not usually big on shopping but loved the large selection of fine shops and stores at that location ... we try to stop here every year on our way back from Mexico to Canada.

We went to shop and we knew what we were looking for but after looking around we found more than what we needed. It's crazy I walk into stores and wish I could take everything so difficult to choose on a few items. Recommend for anyone especially family. You will definitely find something for everyone.

Pack light so you can shop lots! Every store had a sale going on. Check their website for special deals, wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Loads of parking, easy to find. Basically a 'one stop shop'

very big outlets and including almost all brands. On the other side of the road, there is Tangle outlets as well.

We've made the trip a couple of times now, and it's been well worth it. The shops are great, and a lot of them have some great deals. It's SO huge that it's hard to make it through it all in a day! There are some great premium stores, and then the other side of the mall has 'regular' outlet stores. All (both sides) are great! And it's outdoor, so if it's raining I'd recommend taking an umbrella. Also, the couple of times we have been there it's been pretty busy, so you may have to park and walk a little... Wear comfy shoes! We'll be back for sure, we love this place!

We visited the premium outlets to do some clothes shopping. I like VF Outlet for wrangler jeans. They have some decent prices, especially on their very large clearance section. Some outlet stores don't really have better pricing but I have had good luck here.

You could shop to your heart's delight here! There is a large variety of shops and almost anyone could find a store that would interest them.

This place is a BEAST! Suggested time 2-3 hours? Really? Maybe 25 years ago when they built this place, but not now. There’s everything you could want here. It’s so spread out that going during the summer is torture, but we went with a few specific goals in mind and found them all. Employees in each shop we visited were helpful and courteous and each of them helped us locate and navigate to our next destination. The only problem is the parking lots. You’ve got to go slow and you’ve got to be patient. People just walk out in front of cars and people get sick of cars driving slowly so they hotheadedly try to go around. Recipe for disaster. Crosswalks are merely a suggestion. You’ve got to be alert! Prices are ok. Fun day!

Lots of stores with pretty good prices and deals in some instances. It's convenient and a good shopping atmosphere.

It has numerous shops to visit of first brands, there is parking and food court if you want to drink or eat something. Capable of being Christmas Eve, we found the stores quite messy and not with as many promotions as in other premiun outlets we have visited.

This is a huge and modern premium outlet with many brands that I love. They have A&F , Tumi , Coach , Nike , Under Amours etc . On my road trip to the Texas Capital , I stop here for 2 hours on my way back. The mall is huge and it was not too busy on a weekday.. The deals was decent and we end up getting UA Curry 3 sneakers & Ecco shoe for me, A&F kids jeans for my son , Ecco shoe for my mon & Levis for my dad. So definitely you can shop for the whole family here and everyone left happy. Plenty of parking. I am from NY so I been to crazy busy outlet like Woodbury where I can never find any sizes. Here , the crowd is very low and plenty of merchandises. The sales in ECCO was extra nice and gave us some bottle water.
The hanger outlet is right next door .. when you combine both outlet , I think you can go a few hours here if you love shopping. We worked our appetite and had a great dinner back at San Antonio (45 mins ) away from the mail.

Tanger outlets and Premium outlets in San Marcos are really super outlets center here. It maybe is #1 outlets center in southern America. Here looks like have every world famous and American famous stores as Armani & Armni Exchange, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Dior, Polo Ralph Lauren, Bebe, Boss, Brooks Brother, Coach, Cole Hann,DKNY, ECCO, J. Crew, LOCOSTE, Movado, Neumann Marcus, New Balance, Nike, Puma, Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, Puma, Saks Fifth Avenue, Samsonite, St. John, Talbots, Tommy Hilfiget, Tory Burch, True Religion, Tumi, UGG, Under Armour, Victoria Secret, Victorinox Swiss Army, Zales, more and more etc. We will get anything we like it here. It deserves to come here and get everything. And definitely, the goods price here is unbeatable, nowhere is cheaper than here. It is fantastic shopping center in San Marcos Texas. It means here is great Texas, here is super outlets stores in great Texas.

Along with Tanger Outlets you may find any store that comes to your mind. You can find from the most expensive store and so as to the cheapest.
The offers and sales the outlets has are unique, and irresistibles.
If your objective is to go shopping that’s the correct place!

Visited there on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017 and the young man who waited on us provided EXCELLENT customer service! He was patient, friendly, courteous and not pushy at all. We ended up buying a hard-to-find Adidas pair of shoes for my niece. We need more sales personnel as this gentleman. We will return if ever in the city again.

Big and beautiful premium outlet good to shopping but the food court is terrible and very dark tax refund lady is not friendly and they charge you 50% of your refund amount (without acknowledge it)

Two biggest outlets in one place. What ever you can imagine, you can find it. Take a whole day for visiting and browsing for just you need

Love the Brighton & Jockey stores. Plus the VF opened at 930am. Great sales! Getting out to the frontage road took some maneuvering, but otherwise, great trip

Premium Outlets is correct, all the best store! Coach, Dooney, Gucci (can you tell I lone shoes and purses), Tory Burch, Burberry, outlet stores that you don’t see very often.

You've heard it. People have told you that just because it's sold in bulk or at an outlet store, it's not necessarily a great deal. Only if you know your prices, and know exactly what you're getting - it can be a great experience.
With that said, my honey and I had an amazing day at the San Marcos Outlet Mall. I have seen stores here, that I've never seen any other place - Brighton, Neiman Marcus and the like.
My honey is a Tommy Bahama Poster Child and it doesn't come cheap. He's tall - more Torso than leg and TB just fits him to a "T". So whenever we travel, we're on the look out for a TB outlet for him. This one - didn't disappoint. Three pairs of colored jeans - regularly $138 or more $55! They fit him perfectly - what a deal!
Found a BDay present for one of my Besties that has her own cupcake business - at Kate Spade. Discovered a tote covered in cupcakes that she's going to love for $35.
The Brighton store didn't disappoint! I have two other Besties that love Brighton and I was able to get a jump on my Christmas shopping.
And, for me - I could spend hours in Williams and Sonoma. Bought a couple of new cookie sheets .... top quality for $11 ea. Along with a pair of teak salad forks for $9...the same ones I was looking at in the regular store for $30. Not bad!!
Locals told us that maybe the best time to hit this outlet mall was Sunday morning. We were there by 11 and snagged a parking spot very close to the middle of the mall.
Lots of fun! LOTS of people, but lots of bargains too.....

It is worth the trip to get here. There is such a variety of shops and lots of bargains to be had. Try to avoid weekends if you can, although there is plenty of parking it can get busy.

The best choice and value.for gifts for familyMore choices of top quality stores than any ive seen anywhere

Loved visiting this mall. Scored a great deal on a pair of SW 50/50 boots! The mall has several high end shops including Gucci, Tory Burch, and a Neimans Last Call. Happy we came here!

Shopping heaven! There are stores for whatever you are looking for. There are also plenty of restrooms... in case you’re wondering.
You will most likely have to park and go multiple times, unless you’re lookin got get those steps in!
Most stores boast rebates or promotions.

Not sure which one is better (SM Premuin or Tanler) as they are both at the one place. Great outlets here, save your time to visit what you want. I arrived right after 10AM on Saturday and was so lucky to park my car close to the shop I wanted to visit firts. But departure was so tricky, spent some time in car. Overall great place for shopping and some small food as well.

Been here multiple times and continue to find good deals every time I come. Got a pair of New Balance for under $40 and wife found some good deals as well.

A trip to San Marcos to visit the outlets is a must if you visit Texas. The city is great and the highlight is the amazing bargains you get at the outlets. It’s also in the middle between San Antonio and Austin so you can shop then go visit these two great towns in Texas.
Always highly recommend San Marcos to anyone who loves a road trip and a bargain 😀

Spent most of my time at the north face. Huge store with tons of gear for the whole family. Great staff that will look everywhere for your size. There are so many stores here that are of good quality. When I'm in town I always make a stop here.

The outlet is beautiful, but the higher end outlet. Tanger (across the street) is fair more wallet friendly!! This side does have street vendors/kiosks that sell accessories and ice cream, which is fun.

Whenever I am in Texas, we go to the Ralph Lauren Polo outlet store and always find great clothes for my son!
Today we found two pairs of jeans, two shirts and a new wallet.
We also go to the Ecco Shoe outlet store and always find the best shoes for everyone.
I think there is something in those many, many stores for everyone!

The premium outlets where it carries many exclusive bland products is next to Tanger Outlets which carries more common & popular stores. In stead of going to two locations, we can enjoy expensive and economic shopping in one stop.

Retail therapy, it works! There’s so many stores, from low name brand to luxury stores. Many great deals, I basically shopped until I dropped. Every time I’m in Austin, Texas I have to make a pit stop at this outlet mall.
I would definitely recommend this place, just be ready to spend most of your day shopping away!

You can easily spend a day here.
It has a lot of stores with a lot of the high end brands which gives it that "chique" feel to it.
Recommend to get there early because parking can be difficult once it's full.
The food court is very small and limited options. No sit down restaurant close by.
The layout is great because you star at one end and walk around the parking lot.
A great place for quality shopping and great prices.

My wife and I took a day trip to the San Marcos Premium Outlets. We found many top quality stores with top quality merchandise. They also had deep discount sales going on. For example , I bought a North Face light weight water proof jacket with a hood for $40 !! Good quality and good price. After shopping , go to the downtown area and enjoy the charm of a Texas town built on a square with the court house as its primary focus. There are also many great places to eat in this fun town.

I love to go to San Marcos outlets on weekdays, it is peaceful and you find great bargains. You will find great restaurants within 10 miles to relax after shopping.

The weekend is a little crazy, but this place has great stores to shop in. Good discounts. Lots of options. Get your walking shoes- you will be doing a lot of it!

We stopped and shopped. Wear good shoes and be ready to do a lot of walking!! There are lots of stores and all types from hot sauce to purses to toys to housewares.

If you are looking for clothes this is the place to be. All major brands are there and with big discounts . I bought levi jeans and Marco Polo shirts cheap .

Biggest outlet mall we've ever been to. I'd say to see it all you'd need 2 long days. Glad we stopped!!!

Two great outlet malls in one place!! Outlet heaven! The ladies go one way, the guys go another!! Fun fun fun! Only minor glitch is we aren’t the only ones enjoying the savings! Traffic and crowds are inevitable. Worth the effort to save money.

There is a good selection of shops with good variety. It wasn't as impressive as Woodbury Commons in New Jersey but has enough to satisfy most people. The highlights were the Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren outlets.

More than a hundred of shops. Suggest to download the app from the Apple Store and navigate deals and mall map before going shopping
There was a tax return shop inside. Did not use it but should be considered for foreigners.
Pay attention to where you park your car! It is so big that you can lose it.

Great variety and great quality shops - definitely worth a visit you will find a bargain - very quiet on weekdays mornings so go then !

I am staying in Austin and this has been my "go to" shopping place. I love it! Great shops and prices.

Great selection of stores. Just not best prices for an Outlet. Pretty surprised some not even have sales.

Very big, nice area very clean and a lot of stores. The nike store very busy, a lot of high end stores ie Gucci, Michael Kors, coach and etc

There are a lot of stores in the San Marcos Premium Outlet Mall. It is spread out. It is bright and it is full. Good deals and friendly faces abound.

I was always thinking that the perfume selling here are cheap with sales on it. After checking against online prices from well known sites, the discounts are almost the same.

Good selection of outlet stores. Prefer to others in central Texas area for larger selection of stores and merchandise.

If you are within 3 hours away from this outlet mall and you have time to shop, please make the effort and go. The Pottery Barn/ William Sonoma store is worth the visit. On Good Friday, the WS store had 70% off all their Easter decor and dishes. The Premium store side has a much better selection of stores...we also shopped at Pandora and Bare Minerals.

We decided to do some shopping during our trip to Austin and we're advised this was a good place. It was much bigger with far more stores than we expected, all the big brands and famous names the car boot was full of bags by the end of the trip. Certainly planning to return

Great variety of high end stores with plenty of deals! Specials that correlate to holidays are perfect.

Excellent selection. Go mid week for best sales. If you go Friday through Sunday prices jump back up to regular prices with some discounts. Seen up to 50-60% on Wednesday’s.

Visiting the USA and Texas in June we found time to shop at both the outlet malls in Sa Marcos, both next to each other.
Plenty of shops to choose from, upmarket shops and low market, good prices at all.
It was HOT in June but there were areas to cool down with drinks or ices and there is a food court with a good choice from barbecue, Chinese and burgers.
Plenty of parking spaces at both malls and easy access to the highway.

Went there to a couple of stores. Has a large variety of stores and is spread out. Gets very crowded on the weekends.

I was very happy with my visit. We spent a full day there and it wasn't enough. Main places we bought were the mid ranged ladies wear brands, NIke, North Face and Clarks.

There is probably one of every store you can think of here. Plenty of parking. Easy access from the main highway. About an hour from downtown Austin.

We stayed one exit away arrived about 10 AM. Enjoyed the Neiman Marcus last call, Saks off 5th, William Sonoma, Pottery Barn. We also visited several specialty stores. Spent almost the entire day here. Really could use 2 days here just to look and shop. Prices were good, but the day we chose it was 100+ outside. We will return when in the area.

This outlet came as a pleasant surprise on my drive from San Antonio to Austin. A wide variety of brands for sports (i.e., Converse, Lululemon, Nike) and clothing (Cole Haan, Lucky Brand, Calvin Klein). In comparison to other outlets I’ve been to (Woodbury Commons Outlet) in New York, this location has all of the key brands you typically might find at an outlet mall. Best leather jacket I’ve ever purchased!

One of the first outlet malls and frequently visited.
A great selection of stores.
Come in during the week to avoid the weekend crowds.
A GREAT variety of stores for all to visit.
I would suggest for the ladies and gentlemen to split to visit their own stores to avoid frustration.
Plenty of food places to rest or visit while others are visiting stores
a must visit.

The San Marcos Premium Outlets is located near I-35, about halfway between Austin and San Antonio. The Outlet is very large with about 140 stores, mainly well known brands.
We visited on a relatively quiet day and enjoyed shopping here and also found some good offers.

Unbelievable the number of stores here! Some of the stores offer real outlet pricing and others not so much. If your liking for something you should be able to find it.

Not a lot of great deals on the main brands, I guess if you have something specific in mind and you know the store is part of these Premium Outlets then you can expect a 25%-30% discount on what you would have paid on a store in your town/city. Other than that there are really no hidden-gem deals like you would found in other Premium Outlets.

We've been to stores on both the Tanger and Simon sides of the Outlet Mall. Tanger, on the north side of Center Point Dr. is a little more upscale but good shopping can be found throughout the entire mall. It's so large that I don't think you could see every place in one day. Parking is plentiful, especially during the week and it gets crowded during the Christmas holidays, There's also some good restaurants.

Lots and lots of places shop, some pretty good restaurants and lots of parking.
Unless you find sales this place doesn't really seem to be much cheaper than the regular stores. But the great thing is the convenience of having so many selections of stores. Be sure to get the coupon book from the vending machines in the lounges they help a lot with discounts!

Big outlet mall. Not much special about it. It frankly felt tired. Stores were full of last years clothes, but it all felt piled up. Sad.
I am not a big shopper, but stopped in just for a look. I really wanted a couple of short sleeve shirts, but the prices were higher than I have seen in a regular store and the quality was not there.
Been there, seen it, doubt I will go back.

Been there multiple times. Stores have great inventory & selection. Who doesn’t love a Gucci outlet????

This “mall” is completely outdoors and by necessity requires a great deal of walking. During a two day visit, expect to walk 5+ miles if you plan on going through the entire property. Comfortable clothing and shoes are a must. If visiting during the summer, please consider your physical limitations as there are not a lot of cool places to sit. Also, strollers and wheel chairs may find it cumbersome to transition from building to building especially when very crowded. This is not a place to bring babies or small children; it can be hot and crowded in popular stores. Restrooms are spaced periodically throughout and are air conditioned with limited seating for those requiring a rest. We did see trolly stops throughout the mall, but did not see one trolly for passengers during our two day visit.
While there is a great deal of parking, getting into and out of the main parking lots can take 20 minutes due to pedestrian traffic, numerous stop signs, and general congestion. Plan to arrive early or late afternoon to avoid peak crowds on the weekends. Bring water with you as vending machines are expensive and spaced sporadically throughout the mall. Food courts and restaurants are nearby but not necessarily convenient to all parts of the mall.

Nothing so different. The only thing different from his brother Round Rock is some of the store unique to this one, like Columbia, Vitamin World, and others.
On this version the parking lot is concentrated in the middle and the stores around it. So the tip is to move your car as you go on to farther stores. Otherwise you will end up walking too much.

They have the best choice of stores and so many times they also have another sale on top of the low prices. It’s a long walk if you do the whole thing! Wear good shoes or buy some!!

This place is like a city. Be prepared to spend a while here as you browse the big brand name stores. It was a bit disappointing in that you really had to look for the bargains. Most things were pretty pricey, especially for off-shore produced good of lesser quality. Easy access from the freeway, and well marked.

Was overall satisfied with out experience here. VF definitely had the best selection and best prices. There were a few other stores that also had decent prices. Some were high for an outlet may I thought. Will return in the future.

Excellent shopping plaza, friendly attention of workers is amazing. Ample parking lots, clean bathrooms and fresh water in drinkers, if you try it because the soda machine swallowed my 5 dollars!!!

Shopping in the outlet mall in San Marcos has totally spoiled me to shopping anywhere else, including online. Numerous high end stores are within easy walking distance and most offer store-wide discounts on top of their already reduced prices. You'll want to go early in order to find a parking space if you visit on the weekend but parking is readily available during the week. The large public restrooms are generally well-maintained.

Had an amazing time shopping in San Marcos Outlets. So many stores. We stayed at Hilton nearby and enjoyed our stay. Great food options. My favorite stores are Brahmin, Michael Kors, Victoria Secret and Kate Spade. You won't be disappointed! There's something for everyone.

Many stores had closed since last time I went, and I am not sure if it is because the pandemic or other reasons. Almost every store now has its own closing and opening time different than the outlet time. It is mostly outdoor , yet mask is required and social distancing is enforced. It has big brands as Prada , Gucci and jimmy Choo. Would like to visit again for sure . Good deals and bargains.

Whenever I am in Texas, we go to the Ralph Lauren Polo outlet store and always find great clothes for my son!
Today we found two pairs of jeans, two shirts and a new wallet.
We also go to the Ecco Shoe outlet store and always find the best shoes for everyone.
Today I found some wonderful glycerin soap at the Crabtree and Evelyn outlet store too!
I think there is something in those many, many stores for everyone!

I really like this place, good deals friendly people.
I will come back next year
I found a really good prices
I hope come back next year...

We always stop by here when we visit Austin or on our way to San Antonio.
This outlet is right aside I-35, 30 minutes from Austin or 1 hour from San Antonio.
Here is a good place to spend a day for shopping especially during holiday sales.
We enjoy shopping here for good deals but my only dissatisfaction is the food court is way too boring.
This outlet may be one of the biggest in the southwest, but the food court is lack of variety.
At least, a must visit spot is a Häagen-Dazs store in the middle of the parking area (right in front of PUMA).
We always enjoy Häagen-Dazs ice cream before departure.
Another fun to see was we were following two geckos running in the middle of pathway.

Girls trip with my daughter. We found lots of good stuff. It was a lot of fun and we cant wait to go back

Day before the Formula One race near San Marcos we decided to do some shopping. High quality items for sale at high end stores provided huge savings. Well worth the time and money.

I have been to outlet malls all over the country and this one has it all. It is also very easy to just park infront of the particular store you want to shop. Worth the drive!

If you're going to visit just one of the outlets at San Marcos, make it the premium outlets. The tanger ones were looking a little tired.
Plenty of parking and it's free, and there is a great amount of choice in the stores. Currently there's a pottery barn, coach, Saks, Nordstrom, Tommy Hilfiger, Bose, and so many more! The types of sales will depend on the time of the year but there were some good deals when I visited.

On our late summer vacation, the rain closed the pool so we went shopping. We found lots if great deals, love the Tommy Bahama outlet! We saved a ton shopping here and all the best brands! We were able to drive and park next to most stores too.

If you’ve never visited, you have to do it if you love to shop and find bargains. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking a lot, and drink plenty of water if it’s warm. Otherwise, you will have a great time.

Glad I got to stop in here on a trip to San Marcos. Huge selection of premium outlets and some amazing sales on.

This part alone is huge...Tanger outlet across street. Many amazing shops; something for all. Oakley, Under Armor, Bare Minerals, Coach, Fossil, and much more. Great place to shop

Flew to Austin from Las Vegas with the express desire to shophere. An old friend from college joined me and we shopped till we dropped. My favorite retailer was the Brahmin Outlet. Only Brahmin outlet west of the Mississippi.
Terri help us - and she was just wonderful hats ogg ti you got agreat retainer - 2ith !

Like this place ! They had a Brooks Brother Outlet, Kate Spade, Vans, etc.
Lots of deals lots of savings!

We make it to the San Marcos Premium Outlets 3 or 4 times a year. We also have an enjoyable visit with ample selections and a few bargains. The center is clean and well maintained. Seating is provided near stores for those that don't want to walk as much as others. Only complaint this last time was Johnny Rockets (please read a separate review), but there are other places nearby to have lunch. Can't wait for our next visit.

Easily 3 miles of shopping available. I wide range of stores available for all your needs.
Plenty of food courts and restrooms available. With east access from 35.

I shop here regularly. As a resident of San Marcos I can go on weekdays when there are no crowds. You have to be a smart shopper, some of the prices are really great, some not so much. Also I find it best not to have a particular item in mind, it is unlikely that you will find the perfect pair of chartreuse pumps in size 9. If you are open to looking around there is always something that you cannot live without. I have had particularly good luck at Nieman's Last Call as they stock smaller sizes that fit my adult daughters.

This is one of the best outlets. Two for one. Best stores, best sales. Luxury goods are amazing and well priced.

We went on the 26th without much expectations since the Christmas season had passed, we arrived early and had a couple of hours of peace to browse stores, my impression is that since the pandemic there are no longer so many products on clearance, although still better prices than in Mexico.

A wonderful place to shop. Over 200 outlets with everything available. Sales are great! Avoid just before school begins...it's crazy-crowded.

Lots and lots of stores but spread far apart. Parking is terrible on weekends and holidays. All outdoors so plan ahead when the weather is rainy.

Good open lots, and unique driveways through the center of the complex.
Missing a few stores I look for at Premium Outlets, such as Guess, Nine West, White House Black Market for example.
Another key perk to "Outlets" is good prices, which was lacking at the Forever21 store for example. I've visited multiple Forever21 stores in the Northeast US, and this was atypical.
Lastly, good clothing options in smaller sizes, are a typical find at designer stores, which were lacking in some of the stops visited.
Had a couple of good finds at Express.
Not bad, but could be better.

They have luxury brands and normal brands. There is a big Victorias Secret outlet store on the corner that occupies the whole corner building. Most of other outlets are outside. It can be really hot during summer to walk from shop to shop. There is a food court in the middle. Shops are scattered around, you want to take your car and park if you want to explore the other side or areas of the outlet.

We enjoyed a day spent at the outlets! From having breakfast to stopping in for a chocolate treat in between shopping- they had any and all stores imaginable!!

I love hitting the outlet when I visit San Marcos. Vans never lets me down on a good deal and Victoria Secrets as well. They’ve now got an H and M and lots of great stores.

This outlet mall is a great mall. It is clean and well laid out. There is a wide variety of retail, food and beverage options. The stores are clean and have for the most part friendly service.

What can I say! The best outlets in the country. You name it the stores are here. Plenty of parking and lighting.

My PUPPY #lucasthecrazyaussie really loved to be at the outlets it is very pet friendly in some stores they even had dog treats like VINE YARD VINES and at BURBERRY we could take LUCAS our puppy inside. My teenage daughters reaaly loved the stores they have....and If your hungry you can go eat at JOHNNY ROCKETS outside with your pet they have tables.

This is arguably the largest outlet mall I have ever been to! It is wonderfully spread out, with lots and lots of parking space. And even though there are many shoppers around, the place doesn’t feel crowded due to its layout and its mammoth size. Bathrooms are conveniently located. The only complaint is there are not many eating options, and one has to walk down to the adjoining Tanger Outlet to get a decent meal. Plan to spend the whole day shopping till you drop!

San Marcos Premium Outlets is one of TWO outlet malls side-by-side. Together, they are one of the largest in the USA. They are a "shopping" destination, with tour buses from Houston on most weekends and at least 25 percent of the parking lot full of cars with Mexico license plates. Of the two Outlet Malls, Premium has more of the higher-end stores. I'm sure the ladies will recognize the names, but to me they just look expensive. Ladies I know tell me there are great bargains to be had. All I know is that I can buy ALL my clothes in just a few stores. And, those stores are all here. Plan on a full day, if not more; especially if you move between the TWO outlet malls. There are stores here for everyone in the family.

The actual shopping area was fine but the restrooms were disgusting. I have been impressed by the cleanliness of public restrooms in Texas on our trip. These were awful - ok they are old but that's no excuse not to keep them clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand soap. The sink in the disabled toilet I ended up using was filthy. Other toilets had the toilet seats handing off or no paper.
Would not determined due to this

Return trip for us, from Australia, while in town for the Motogp. Has all the stores I liked and I could have bankrupted myself easily!! Spent loads in Oakley, Levis and North Face.

A lot of shopping at Calvin Klein for myself!!! I told myself I will never buy anything instead just accompany my friends but the temptation is too much. Would have been perfect if not for the iwatch that was lost by my friend during fittings at Gap. She tried iwatch locater but it never work. She also ask the Customer service but none.

We drove to the outlets from San Antonio. It’s a leisurely drive and not that far. We were impressed with the variety of shops at San Marcos. Plenty of choice for everyone including premium brands. Easily spent around 4 hours here including lunch. Didn’t take any photos of the actual mall, but we did buy chocolates at Lindt, so had to photograph those!

Great outlet stores and with being adjacent to Tanger outlets the shopping opportunities in San Marcos are endless!
We visited while on a recent road trip and got a couple of bags full of bargains. We had to restrict the number of stores we visited as we had limited baggage allowance to get the purchases back to the UK.
This is my idea of retail heaven!
Great selection of shops on site although not everything was a bargain from my point of view. Some items are cheaper in the UK but if you know your prices before visiting you will be able to pick up some bargains.

We arrived late on a Sunday night and although all the stores and restaurants were closed, the Tesla Supercharger and other EV chargers were available in the back parking lot. We were able to get take out from Schlotsky's (which was still open) and then drive over and eat while we charged. Very convenient and felt safe. Next time we'll try the shopping. :-)

What a way to spend the day! So many shops to see so many bargains to be bought! Food court not large or much choice so that wasn't brilliant but we managed!
An outside Mall but it has cover so if the rain comes you can , on the whole, stay reasonably dry.

Was so pleased with all the great sales and little crowds. Directly off the interstate with more stores than you can visit in just one day!

Very nice place, there are many stores but too many people and its almost impossible to find a parking spot and in specific we saw a lot of toxic people at the nike and the staff that “helped” us were toxic

We always get great buys at the Ralph Lauren Polo outlet store.
It is always chaotic with lots of folks looking for just the right item! The staff is very helpful and though size availability can be erratic, we always find several we like.
The ECCO shoes Outlet store is great, too. Always a good selection of quality shoes and knowledgeable staff!

Come shop for a couple of days! Love the deals! Check out Michael Kohl’s and Kate Spade outlets! Right of I-35!

This place gets super busy- especially on the weekends! Arrived be early to get a decent place to park- it's hard to find one otherwise. Our favorite place to shop was the Victoria's Secret outlet. Great deals and the workers keep restocking throughout the day. It is a very large outlet mall, so plan to wear good walking shoes! It's not a bad idea to have a small wheeled cart to place your purchases...

Arrived Sunday at 10:30 AM and purposefully went to the Cabi Outlet. Was able to park right in front of the store. While I shopped here, my family went to their favorites.
Get the passport savings book at guest services in the food court. Although it costs $10, it offers a lot of additional discounts.

San Marcos, TX has one of my favorite outlets to shop. First, this outlet has two oulet mall parts-the Premium Outlets and the Tanger Factory Outlet Center. Second, there are over 300 stores for every budget. Next there is a great deal of walking, but there are eateries for the entire family that will allow for time to rest, chat, chew and regroup.
I visit San Marcos at least twice a year. During each visit I am able to find great deals and the customer service is Awesome.
This outlet is worth the time because of the savings and customer service.

This is a great location off 35. All the stores you're looking for are here. A one stop Shop. Had stores for kids. Also has a lot of Restaurants within the Outlet area👍.

Huge premium outlet place and not far from Austin. Have every brand you can think of. Be prepared to walk a lot and don't forget to claim your tax return if you are tourist.

They have great quality branded stuffs with the best deal in UNITED STATES!
Yes , in the US! My friends and families just have to come all the way from different states and countries and spend nights at our house, just to shop!! Crazy. We are sooo lucky that it is only 10 mins away from us. :)

Well organized quality shopping, probably the best prices in the US of A . No tax on clothing, great deals too. On the way eat at Rudy’s bbq grill in a rustic setting.

The outlet mall in San Marcos is the 2nd most visited site in Texas. 24hrcarunlocking.com is proudly offering lockout services with big/

Massive site, in fact two sites separated by a road, with just about every store you can think of represented, from high end fashion to refurbished tools. My main recommendation would be to go off site for lunch as the food hall is disappointing.

Its good this time of the year because the main stores have clearence and discount around 60-75 % off
I think if you want to save money and time january is the best time at outlets

We visited this outlet on our Vacation in Texas. Here you will find several stores with shoes, clothes, furnitures, boks and other Things.

This outlet has all the major brands. I definitely recommend J.Crew as you can find great socks at this place for a reasonable price.

They have everything. You name it, you can find that store there. Do your homework and look up the website before you come to save time deciding which stores to visit. Prices were pretty good, no steals, but no gouging that I could see.

Due to the low prices, people come from Mexico and all around the state to shop during the weekends. Locals shop during the week. If you shop big sales in large department stores, you can sometimes get a better price. However, the outlet lets you get those prices on any day. They are starting to not use credit cards in a few stores. They prefer cash or a check. You can shop for yourself, husband, teens, or young children.

These outlets are far superior to the Grove City outlets. We went on a Monday. There were not a lot of people. Plenty of free parking.

You can find many stores of diferents branches, and buy all you pocket can, specially because they have all types of prices and the variety of clothes you like and accessories.

I've only visited a couple of Outlets in the US but this is the best to date.
Lots of premium brands. The ones we visited we're Kate Spade, Guess, Citizen, Fossil, Under Armour, Gap and cosmetics outlets. Even with the GBP exchange rates, discounts were over 50%. In Kate Spade discounts approached 70%.
Plenty of free parking. If you are in the area it's well worth the visit.
The only downside is that this us an outdoor mall and spread out over quite an area so it can get a bit hot. As it's open until 9pm it's best to go later in the day.

Passing thru and I was impressed by the top end store names. However when you look more closely it’s mainly old stock at expensive prices.
I had imagined that they would up their game to compete with internet. But no.
Example : saucony echelon 5 $130 retail $75 Amazon / eBay . Outlet $100 with very few sizes.
A shame but at least they have top end stores . Across the road at Tanger even worse.

Really I found everything in this outlet and it's cheap you'll see all brands with a good arrangement.

Great place. Extremely busy. Customer service was pretty good. Recommend more handicapped parking.PARKING AND TRAFFIC ARE HORRIBLE....Recommend traffic lights,or someone to at least direct traffic. That may cut down on some of the combustion.

Premium Outlet in San Marcos, TX has it all. It covers a very large area with easy access and lots of parking. Stores are great and if they don't have what your looking for, you don't need it! Highly recommend this shopping mall for an all day or more visit.

This outlet is great if you are looking to purchase Gucci items at a discount. They have a good selection of bags and shoes and some clothing. I was able to buy a page of shoes that originally cost almost $700 for only $270. If you are fine with last year's items, then this is the place the go.

Was in a neighboring town visiting a friend and had to pass through San Marcos on our way home. Decided to run through a few of the outlet stores - and the selection is huge. One section of lower end stores and the luxury brands in a different section. Something for everyone - and there were LOTS of shoppers. Needed a specific item in Kiplinger but they didn’t have it. Saw a small crossbody I liked on a rack that said “2 for $42” - but I only wanted that one. Didn’t matter. 1 was $42 or 2 for $42. Crazy!!! Not falling for that! Left empty handed. Found some good prices for items in the Tumi store. Prada was overpriced- even for the outlets. But it was fun wandering.

Visited several stores but found some things in Torrid and Old Navy. We found several good deals. We had a lot of fun together.

We drove on a very busy highway from San Antonio to get here. I think I was expecting more deals. I think I made one purchase at the Ecco store settling on a pair of golf shoes.

Amazing outlet my first time to an outlet that included Victoria Secret and so many other stores highly recommend this place, hopefully no xtra charges when boarding 😊

This is the place for bargain lovers like me. There are many different shops here for kids and adults alike. Plan to spend at least 4 hours here so you will have ample time to check the sales out. Don't worry, there are places to eat within the Outlets and nearby so you don't have to go far. If you want the best deals, go on holiday weekends as the prices can go at least 60% off of regular price plus % off on top of that. Happy saving!

We came to the outlets already several times. Here it's possible to find almost everything in reasonable good prices. Most of the famous brands are there

Not worth the time getting in. Not worth the time parking. Not worth the time getting out. Just stick to internet shopping

Excellent selection of shops in a nice setting with selection of restaurants and cafes. Positioned on I-35 about 45mins south of Austin. Decent discounts across all shops. Would recommend if in the area and looking for a bargain.

This place is HUGE, it is best to go there with a plan of which shops you want to go to. When I was there it was not so busy and I could drive from quadrant to quadrant with easy parking everywhere I went. I would not want to be there on a busy day and have to walk the entire place. The range of shops is supreme, but many of them are not outlet or discount shops, so expect to pay full price unless you are a size XS or XXL and can buy off the clearance racks!

We have visite many outlet shopping centres........and I do mean many.... on our US trips in lots of States from the North East to the South West and Florida to San Francisco but this is the Best of the Best.
I really can’t enthuse more.

Very nice people. Pet friendly and great sales to make you look cool. The manager with the small Scales of Justice tattoo is really nice, helpful and friendly.

The Outlets are excellent. There are many well known shops such as Gucci. The Citizen shop offers nice solar watches at reasonable prices. The parking is adequate.

I frequently shop at the premium outlets because of some of the great values they have. I seem to only stop at the same three or four stores each visit. The merchandise selection is hit or miss, but the values when they have the stuff I need are generally pretty good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the many shops that I visited. The sales reps gave the same customer service and care as in the actual retail stores. Great atmosphere.

With plenty of well known shops this is seventh heaven for shopaholics.
Supplying everything from sportswear to high class jewellery.
Situated between Austin and San Antonio you will need a car to get there.
Bring an empty suitcase I am sure you will need it.

Great outlet mall but crazy parking and driving! Great selection!
Several times, my husband had to drop me off and had to drive around while looking for a parking spot.

This is a large outlet mall and has Versace, Armani, Brooks Brothers, and children’s boutiques. I cannot name all of the stores but many brands are represented.

The architecture is as if i was walking in Italy. Great place to spend the day shopping and eat. Nie little play area for the kids also

This outlet is huge. It's broken up into sections so it seems smaller but keep going to the next section and you should be able to find any outlet you were looking for.

Sprawling stores layout. Lots to pick from depending on your shopping needs. The temperature is oppressive to walk far even though there is shaded overhang as you walk from store to store.

If you can't find what you're looking for at the outlet mall om San Marcos, TX, then you probably don't need it anyway. It is the complete deal. Don't miss it if you like shopping. One side145 luxury and brand-name outlet stores --cross the street and ---Over 100 name brands offering 30-70% off!
Get your shop on!

I like all the stores in one location to shop at. The stores I visit, the staff is always friendly. The weekends are usually pretty busy. The secret to parking is their is parking behind the mall that many folks do not take advantage of. Use the space.

They forgot to remove a security device off shirt. We went to our vacation spot only to find out later. We returned after trip to the store and told manager. He said it happens all the time and said sorry. Thanks a lot for nothing! Waisted my gas and money!

This premium outlet mall is very nice with a mix of high end luxury goods and affordable bargain outlets. The atmosphere and layout is very nice. The Tangers outlet mall right next door makes this a must visit destination.

This has to be one of the best outlet malls i've been too. You can easily spend a few hours here. It has a store for everyone! They have alot of high end designers but also bargain stores as well.
Location is great too. It is halfway between Austin and San Antonio.
Definitely will stop by again when I am in the area.

The place is huge. Plenty of bargains and plenty of none bargains to sum it up depending on the store. Basically the place has something for everyone and you’d be hard pressed if you didn’t find something to buy here. I was very impressed as I was visiting from Australia and we have bugger all to nothing compared to this mega outlet.

Hard to believe all the different stores that are here. There are too many to name as this outlet mall is huge. Just looking around, I can see Polo, Under Armour, GAP, Movado, Brooks Brothers, and Banana Republic. If you can’t find something here, chances are it hasn’t been made.

There are so many shops! The other outlet mall is across the street! Look at them before you go and make a plan! You can't go to all of the shops in one day!

Love this outlet mall!! Great prices and good selection at most stores! Gets pretty crowded so go early if you can!

As my title suggests san marcos premium outlets has one of the only victorias secret ACTUAL OUTLETS in the country. My husband and I are travel nurses and on our contract in dallas we came here 3 times. Its a big outlet with everything you could imagine but the victorias secret keeps me coming back!

We went here during our June trip....and its pretty much consistent with other outlets. Same stores and deals. I will visit again and recommend.

This is a must stop! Such great stores and deals! Lots of high end brands too! The premium side is better than the Tanger side in my opinion.

Tanger and Simon's Premium Outlets are right next door to each other making this complex absolutely vast and slightly bewildering, still all the brands you could possibly want are represented. We went just after New Year and it felt the stores had been stripped of decent inventory and the discounts were relatively sparse in the Premium section, indeed then later dropping into Houston premium outlets the same brands had much bigger discounts. There is a little shuttle going round to help people cover the distance.

Great to visit and get some great bargains at excellent prices. Could do with more quality food outlets with more choices.

Off and running sales are a continuous happening at this shopping venue. But be careful, the sale price isn't always a good buy.

In my opinion the most complete outlet in US, here you will be able to find any brand (low, mid-range, high class). Be ready to visit and shop at your favorite designers, print your coupons before arrival for better deals. Most shops will accept coupons over final sales, but probably if you love shopping time and budget will be your worst enemies. The food court is small and has enough options but probably not my personal favourites for fast food.

This was our first visit and we found it well worth the trip and our ten thousand plus steps!Definitely a good walk😉 was easy geeting around and parking was good if you get there before the shops open...we went on a Sunday around 1045 and had zero trouble parking but if you go later parking is horrible...I enjoyed the look structurally of the outlet and the layout.
Every store we went into we were greeted with smiles...although I expected better sales due to it being labor day weekend.
I'm sure we will go again around the holidays.

I was looking for sneakers- I peeked in on Saycony outlet store & rack room, normally fair prices. The prices here were pathetic, high for what they were selling, It’s an outlet store… but a complete rip off! To walk around this one.. is cute and beautiful but… it’ll be the price of a mortgage to shop! It’s a rip off! However, if you shop for the fun of it & not mind paying an arm/leg & getting ripped off, then it’s your type of place. We paid a whole lot less than we would have else where!

Anything you want you can find. Walked and road store to store. Hugh outlet. Many restaurants to keep you fueled for the day.

Were staying outside of Austin at a resort and had an afternoon off from meetings so we headed over to the Outlet Mall. This is probably number two on my list of all outlet malls in the country (Las Vegas being number one). They had a wonderful variety of designers and they truly had great deals. The way this one is laid out is a little harder to shop than Vegas and you had to walk quite a distance to get around. We relocated our car as went since we had a limited amount of time (normally we like to get the walking in, but we only had a few hours). It does take about an hour or so from Austin area and the traffic home got pretty heavy so we opted for a less traveled route rather than the toll road in order not to get stuck. There weren't really good food options, so we were thankful we had lunch at our resort prior to leaving. We were lucky and got to go on a weekday afternoon, I can see where this place probably gets very busy on the weekends. Definitely worth a drive.

soon many stores! i can be here for hoursssss!!! bad for my wallet, great for my soul! so much walking, the only con is that during the summer times is wayyyy to hot to be walking.

I honestly usually only go by the Coach Store. I lose track of time in there and don't have time to check out any other stores. Lol. Lots of options, though, if I was better at time management😁.

Very close the the Tanger outlets. More designer shops here so great chance to get some bargains. Advise to get here early as parking can be difficult.

San Marcos has outlets I’ve never known were outlets!! Victoria’s Secret, Restoration Hardware, Abercrombie.
It was an awesome find while traveling!!

Hadn't been back in a couple of years. This is one of our favorite outlets in the country. Convenient location and easy to get around. Great selection of of quality outlets. Definitely worth the visit if you get a chance.

Headed into San Antonio a little early for check in so decided to take a trip to the outlets. They are enormous and sell just about everything. I was surprised to find that there was an equally as big outlet across the road from it. We spent a good few hours there and picked up some great bargains.

We had a great time here!! Lots of options with some of my favorite specialty stores like Vera Bradley and Nike for the kids!! There is a large food court and another outlet across the street!!

I believe outlet malls no longer offer better deals and / or prices than regular stores.
Went in the Hanes store for undergarments to find that prices were only about 2 or 3 dollars less than regular stores. I ended up going to their discounted rack ( not many options) ; got a bra for $25 bucks 😳

I visited this outlet a Friday there is no crowded excellent day for visiting this place. There are clean bathrooms plenty of parking space. Restaurants near the place. Stores have a lot of offers, clothes with clearance value is good. Also you can look for coupons and have an extra discount on some stores.

It took us more than 6 hours to walk this place! I feel prices are ok, not super low but I am sure everyone can find something here. We drove from Houston so I wouldn’t make a trip again unless I had to or was in the area.

This place is absolutely amazing and is located within walking distance of Tangier Outlets as well. It was an awesome day trip for my Army retired husband and I. The savings for those in the Armed Forces, in addition to the sales, were worth the 2-hour trip. We actually went on a Saturday and were so impressed that we returned the very next day!

I have never been to an outlet mall with such bad parking. The stores are cool but the parking is a mess!!

This stay felt like a mini vacation. The staff was very nice and helpful. Cleaned daily, not noisy, workout room ,laundry room, out door pool. One thing could have a bit better priced but overall good stay experience. I stayed 14 days thank you Candlewood suites

Love the amount of shops and the prices! A must go in San Marcos. Jimmy choo and Victoria secret are a must visit!

Great selection of stores. I found it to be easy to navigate around the outlets. Plenty of free parking. There’s something for everyone.

These outlets are the best I have been to. There are all the great stores, it is very clean. Have been here many times.

The outlet is the best place to go to shop for any occasion and any kind of gift. It offers two different shopping side. One side is high end store and the other side is the affordable side lol.

We arrived when the stores opened and did not have many crowds. There is a wide variety of upscale shopping outlets. By the time we left it was beginning to get crowded and parking was at a premium. You should be able to find whatever you need here.

Lol of items on sale. Not to crowded on weekdays. Bring your own water. Bottle water expensive . Arrive early on weekend to get parking.

Cute outlet mall, tons of stores! The prices are still pretty high but there are a lot of variety in the stores. It’s a great place to walk around and do some window shopping. Just be careful around holidays, it gets so busy you can get trapped in!

Victoria’s Secret is a must stop for me and by the time I leave that store I barely have enough time to go anywhere else!
Good Shopping
This outlet has a good variety of stores however there was a lack of current merchandise in several stores. Overall we got what we wanted and all was good. Great parking
