There's always something going on at the steelstacks. From free concerts to trivia nights to comedy shows, I can easily find something to do any night of the week. My favorite is trivia on Thursdays, but I also love the comedy shows.

We were there to watch a couple of musical acts at ArtsQuest, and in between we walked around the old plant, all lit up in red. They are doing a great job of turning an old industrial site into something the public wants to visit over and over.

Get your creative juices flowing. Learn some history of the steel industry. The physical structures are awesome. This is a great venue to host a networking event or conference.

Came for the high school jazz competition and I was as excited as the kids to be here. It is set up like a club, with plenty of seating and also a balcony with tables and chairs. The atmosphere is so different here. When it starts to get dark, it is awesome to see the steel stacks in the background. It seems like in nice weather there will be plenty of seating outside.

From concerts and films to culinary events and SoccerFest, this dramatically designed historic and beautiful venue is a gift to everyone in the community and beyond.

We really enjoyed doing some Christmas shopping here. Different and unique things to purchase. I am already looking forward to going next year. I can't believe we didn't go sooner.

Fabulous venue for outdoor shows. Big name acts and smaller local talent alike, these people know how to make us want to come back.

The DiscoTeks always look forward to performing at MusikFest. Heartfelt thanks to the staff & management for inviting us back again this year.

Can't believe we missed this for the last 7 years! The 8th Peepsfest was a first for us. Took the two granddaughters in town from out-of-state. We were amazed at the range of activities, mostly free, suitable for preschoolers to teens. The disco floor was packed. There was free entertainment on the lower level of SteelStacks and the second floor had lots of crafts-tie dye, leaning tower of peeps activity, photography, peep pouch, peeps diorama displays, free peeps samples, etc. The real action began around 4 PM with a live band on stage at the outdoor Levitt Pavillion. It was cold, but with mutiple layers, mittens, scarves, hats, etc. and the chance to dance along with the band, we kept warm. The Peepsmobile was on site as was the local TV Station 39. At 5 PM, the new and improved multicolored lighted 200 lb. peep was dropped from an overhead crane. The Little Band That Could did a second set, and the fireworks show to the left of the lighted steel stacks was spectacular. Ample free parking. This was a great way to ring in 2017 with the grands and family!

I live near the area and love to walk around. This place is historical, you need to see it and come with family and friends. Stop by and enjoy the view from the top of the steel stacks a must see sight.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bethlehem Steel. After a 30 minute film about the rich history of the amazing company, we embarked on a tour of a several mile portion of the huge campus with an excellent tour guide - wish I could remember her name. She was a wonderful person with so much passion and intellect - and sense of humor. We visited on Sunday, Feb 19. She was related to a former steel worker and passionately described the steel making process and rich company history. We also took a self guided trestle tour immediately adjacent to the remaining five blast furnaces. Fascinating!!

So happy that they revitalized the old SteelStacks and made a beautiful and fun place for the whole family. Always lots to do.

Sight lines are great, food is standard tasty pub fare. Having been a sound engineer, it’s a nightmare. Glass walls, concrete floors, lots of hard surfaces amplify sound(especially rock bands) to approach the threshold of pain. Conversation is impossible, and earplugs are a must.

Loretta was our tour guide & she was a wealth of information—passionate about the subject, too, as her father worked at Bethlehem Steel for decades. She was one of the rare tour guides who imparts so much that she didn’t even breathe the whole time, I think—just dispensed info consistently. She went out of her way to infuse humor & to make the history easy to understand. Super-cool to have a Bethlehem native giving this tour!

Always great things going on at steelstacks, whether it is a festival, music, comedy, movies, art. What a great variety of things here in south Bethlehem. Have been to several outdoor events at levitt pavilion and more, but attended first concert inside steelstacks in the musikfest cafe. It was great! What an intimate venue, so close no matter where you sit really. Plus you can get food and drinks, it was a great time. And Steve Vai was amazing as usual!!

We saw Bohemian Rhapsody at the ArtsQuest, the movie was great! The theatre is clean and the seating is the best. Big roomy seats with plenty of leg room.
We have been going to this theatre for the last few years as we like to be able to walk around after the movie and the steelstacks offers us that opportunity.
They are having the Chriskndlmarkt right now. It's a great place to find a gift and to have lunch. There are many vendors at the market, too many to mention. If your going to plan a trip be sure to visit their website first.

Comfort and convenience no matter what the event all year long. From free concerts to low admission movies you will not be disappointed. My go to place for entertainment.

Saw a great show at the stacks - This palce is really cool. You can take tours of the statcks. It is really neat to see how this place once produced a whole lotta steel for the USA.

We took the guided tour and watched the film show . Both were excellent with interesting facts that are so relevant in today's political situation with tariffs on imported Chinese steel . The scale of the whole industrial site is staggering . Our guide Charlie was friendly , knowledgeable and interacted with our group very well . A most enjoyable couple of hours . The casino is huge with lots of smokers glued to one armed bandits - really a weird reflection of addiction and the indoor smoking seems so out of place in a modern world .

When I went her I got a nice surprise. They have a museum which explains about the history of the steel mill. It gives the visitor a better understanding of the industry. I learned about the different projects that they provided steel for. I also learned about the tragic outcome of the plant when it closed its doors for good. An interesting place to visit because you can actually walk around by the actual steel stacks and get a better idea of how steel is produced.

SteelStacks is a captivating destination that truly brings the city of Bethlehem to life. This beautiful area offers so much more than just a picturesque backdrop; it serves as a thriving cultural hub that never fails to impress.
One of the standout features of SteelStacks is its commitment to providing free concerts during the summer. The live music performances are an absolute treat, attracting talented artists from various genres and captivating audiences of all ages. The opportunity to enjoy high-quality music without any admission fee is truly commendable and adds to the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere of SteelStacks.
In addition to the captivating concerts, SteelStacks hosts a plethora of events throughout the year, ensuring there is always something exciting happening. From art exhibitions and film screenings to festivals and community gatherings, the calendar is packed with diverse and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. This dedication to creating a vibrant cultural scene is truly admirable, showcasing the commitment to enriching the lives of residents and visitors alike. The various festivals are all truly well done and there's something for everyone.
Beyond the events, SteelStacks itself is a historic sight to behold. The backdrop of towering steel structures provides a unique and industrial aesthetic, creating an atmosphere that is both gritty and artistic. Whether strolling through the area during the day or admiring the illuminated stacks at night, there is a certain charm and character that makes SteelStacks an unforgettable place.

We, again, had a good meal and concert. We saw EagleMania and enjoyed a meal. Great venue. Very personal small venue.

Such a fun and interesting place. Our visit coincided with Oktoberfest Fest which was phenomenal. Have been once before at Christmas Time and it was beautiful! Great spot to walk Around during the day
Many spots for great photo opps.

We were staying at the Sands Casino in our RV because it's free and had NO IDEA we'd be right next to this! The sheer size of it was impressive during the day, but at night they light it up and it looks so cool! Plus, we kept hearing music, so we went for a walk and found a free concert at the base of the stacks! I think they only do that in the summer time, so check their website & schedule. What a cool thing to happen upon though!

We were in the Steelstacks complex but specifically at Levitt Pavillion. For the size and scenery, this place is worth a visit. It’s very cool to look over the clamshell and see the steelstacks. The Arts Quest building s nice too, and bathrooms were clean. Sound was good for the show and parking was easy and free...

went to the christmas market it and it was very cool. Lots of awesome places to take pics and decorated perfectly for the holiday season

Came all the way from Baltimore to meet and speak to Val Kilmer, but unforunately was not given that opportunity.
The venue itself is very cool and laid out nicely, with the old steel stacks in walking distance, staff seem nice enough.
After seeing Val Kilmer's movie on Mark Twain, taped back in 2013, some guests paid ahead of time an additional fee for a VIP to meet and get photo taken with him.
But very turned off when we were moved along like cattle, camera or phone handed over and over again by various staffers, and Val;s PR was responsible of taking the photos, which came out aweful and blurry, just rushed him out after that.
If you know anybody that is doing this event at another city, please have them think twice, complete waste of money and time.

Gross... this place has remnants from dilapidated Bethlehem steel..decrepit,delapidate giant rusty stacks from a bygone era and a general apocalyptic feel. I realize they want to remember what a great industry was once here (keyword once) but it's time to knock those grotesque eyesores and just keep a museum with good pictures before this place turned to abandoned crap!! On the other the outlets close by are not too bad plus you have the Sands Casino if that's your thing.

A huge casino with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Plus huge hotel right inside the casino in the heart of Bethlehem.

I had seen this two years ago and wanted to show my friend. There was a festival going on but I went to the back and parked and were walking around - then there was a stairway up to the top. WOW oh WOW. Definitely worth the visit. We walked and then realized we needed to leave so we didn't do the whole tour. I would LOVE to do this tour with someone who worked here and can tell some stories. It is so worth the visit.

Family friendly music Venue. Love this Place! We enjoy musikfest yearly and have done tickets events especially blast furnace blues. Always good time even with kids!

This closed steel plant is rusted, decrepit and awe-inspiring. There are stairs and an elevator leading to a free walkway around the plant with plaques describing the operations. We were there on Labor Day weekend and a car show was going on. There is a visitor's center, a fast-food style restaurant, several stages, a playground, and a nearby museum of industrial history (not free). It is a good place to bring children (not sure the children will agree but it will be good for their minders).

Massive structure - really an awesome sight. It's hard to believe that people worked like this in these conditions for over a hundred years.

We finally made it to the Bethlehem ChristmasMarket at the SteelStacks. Nice day shopping and the food tent was festive with entertainment. We’ll definitely be back in other seasons.

Went to see a favorite band and have dinner. It was our first visit and we were truly impressed with how they have integrated the Steel history with the venue. Dinner was excellent and it was great to see the band so close!

This was a fantastic place to visit. We saw a great show there and the view was absolutely amazing. Afterward we walked across the street and visited the old Steelstacks. I wish there was a way to separately review the ArtsQuest Building, Steelstacks and the food because the food was average, at best. My husband had a sandwich, which was ok. I did not like my food at all. The service was good. But food alone, I would have given it a 2. Eat somewhere else beforehand.

Ever since we heard about "MusikFest" (held every year in August) we've been making it an annual fun thing-to-do with friends. Over a span of 10 days, many different bands showcase their talent. Most are local & some are national acts. It has grown in popularity, over the years. It's not to be missed.

The SteelStacks is a must see. Once the location of Bethlehem Steel and now an art venue music, entertainment, art, films and much more.

While this is something to see close-up. The real value is having a good tour guide. And we did, her name is Michelle.
She gave us such a volume of in-depth information that was very interesting. She did a great job of fielding questions from a few older gentleman that obviously had some experience with steel mills. Good weather helps since you are outside except for the short bit in the very beginning that’s in the visitor center. The combo ticket gives you the industrial history museum, which is just across the parking lot.

Whoever decided to take an old run down steel mill and make it into a venue such as SteeStacks is a genius. We attended a comedy show at Musikfest at SteelStacks and was in awe with the grounds and what has come of what used to be. I could have photographed this area for hours! We will be back in the Spring to partake in the many festivities that is offered here!

go. take a camera. learn something. this will make great dinner conversation when you get back home.

Bethlehem steel is a beautiful old site. The view of the blast furnaces is spectacular, and the area is full of history. The steel stacks center has tons of history along walls and just feels historic. It's a great place any time of year. Inside the building, Bathrooms are always clean and kept up with. The bar is good, it's not always open but when it is they have a decent selection of beer and snacks.
A lot to do here- there's the catwalk along the blast furnaces which offers super cool and close up view of the old Bethlehem steel, the outdoor music pavilion, the museum, artsquest center, and walking path. Truly beautiful location with always something going on.

Very clean, a lot to do. Shopping, dining, history, gambling and much more! Steel stacks at night, lit up are so neat to see.

Went for a wedding last fall. Place was very nice. Cool rustic views of the old steel mills. Our food was phenomenal and hall was spacious. Big room didn't hold heat very well and it was a very cold night. Nothing more whiskey and dancing didn't help. all in all wonderful spot

Went to the Steelstacks venue for their Oktoberfest this past weekend. This place hit the mark on so many levels. The festival itself was well run and had plenty to keep us busy for hours (any time the kids break free from electronics for 5-6 hours it's a parenting 'win'). Different beers, German food, and activities like keg rolling, axe throwing, horseshoes, and bocci. Every once in a while during the festival we would look up at the hulking steel mill towering above us and think about what this place once was. We would enjow walking around even if there were no festival taking place.

Had a horrible experience last year after going for many years in a row. My kids are 15 now and they were not welcome! We were told they could not participate because they are too old. This is of course after I already paid ahead of time. They even refused to give them the free peeps samples. What a way to ruin it.

We've been to many events here and we've always had a great time. The only reason why I didn't give them all five stars is because they don't have enough of bathrooms. Considering the size of the events that are held there and even the regular business conducted here day to day they should have built more.

Cafe style venue with a balcony upper area. Acoustics are pleasing. Have seen a variety of acts and the room worked for each. There is a short menu available for many shows. The foods are varied and we have not hit one that was not a hit. The service is friendly and capable.

What can you say about a place that puts on 50 plus free concerts a year. Attended on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The grounds are always clean and the help is always friendly. You have to get there early to get a good spot for your chair.

The best theater in town. Have not been to the other venues there but really like the comfortable seats and great viewing at the movie theatre!

The steel stacks are an imposing sight from miles around. The skywak setup along their ediface, along the old trestle, provides a wonderful self-guided tour providing insight into this history.

Pulled into town and saw the desolate steel mill structure to left of sign for casino. Had no clue about this place but parked and followed the crowds. We were amazed at what the city has done as I was here 13 years ago and it was depressing There was a Christmas extravaganza happening which I’m told goes on until
Xmas $10 admission and entry into a wonderland of kiosks ! 5 huge heated tents set up and one had food and drink. Very tight so those with baby carriages should be cautious of banging into others.

Discovered about 4 years ago. Since then, probably average going to see a concert or movie at least pnce per month.

Whether it's concerts, Christkindlmarkt, or to hangout it's a great place. After my most recent visit it dawned on me that I really enjoy going here. My family and I have visited numerous times and enjoy every time. The elevated footpath which crosses the width of the steel mill is cool, the facilities are clean, and it's easily accessible from the highway. The casino is in the same complex if you are interested in that sort of thing. I honestly can't think of anything to criticize. I highly recommend checking out what is going on and visit, it's worth it.

This facility has a theater, gift shop and coffee shop. The gift shop did not have a cashier the time we visited that place

This is an amazing venue. The way the outdoor concert stadium is built into old Bethlehem Steel factory and plant is just wild.....like out of a Sci-Fi movie. Very beautiful when lit up at night. Skip the food inside the concert arena. Enjoy the better and healthier food choices outside at the food trucks if available.

We just hosted a wedding reception at the SteelStacks (ArtsQuest Musikfest Cafe) and it was *amazing!* It is the perfect venue for a unique event. The views are spectacular, the setting is unique and the event coordinators are beyond helpful. Susan and Adrienne made the planning process easy and enjoyable and the results were phenomenal. The guests are still raving (literally raving) about the experience.

Great place got a concert. Checked tickets about 30 minutes before opening and the bag check was fast too. Nice bathroom area. Just wish the stage was a little higher

I appreciate everything that seems to have gone into this venue. It's a classic example of a town reinventing itself after a forced identity shift.
As to the Peep event, a good place for the little ones.

Today was my first time here to see the movie “Isle of Dogs”. Too cold & windy to explore. Definitely a place I will revisit in better weather! Looks fascinating & there is so much to do there, free concerts, classic movies & a number of restaurants!!!

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! My husband wanted to see it before entering the Christmas Market. So glad we did! It’s a tribute to the industry, the contributions to architecture and military activities as well as those many hard working immigrants who worked so hard. Our country grew with and because of this industry. So happy we went - and quite honestly it surpassed the Christmas Market itself!

interesting stuff, definitely a place for unique gifts and great music and food... a must see if visiting our beautiful area..

A piece of history right in front of you! The elevated walkway takes you through time and explains everything you are looking at. You learn so much of how things worked and why. So worth a trip up!

We visited the SteelStacks Nov. 3, 2019.
We watched the video in the visitor center which was informative. The site has informational plaques throughout the site enlightening the visitor to what the workers experienced in this American icon when open.
Always of interest to see what immigrants provided the labor force to make america great.
Would return here if in the area again.

The Blast Furnace Blues was a three day event. We attended Saturday. It was from 12:30pm until 10:00 pm. There were two venues and it was nonstop music and nonstop fun. It was a great day. Will definitely return next year.

Have been here a few times before. This is always a great place to come and walk around. The steel stacks themselves offer a great view at history and provide great photo backdrops. This place is no secret. Outlet shopping is within walking distance as well as casino.

Nice event location, always clean, but parking isn't always free. Other than that, it's a nice place to visit. Staff is also always pleasant.

Recently saw an Arlo Guthrie concert here. Was pleasantly surprised with the venue--great acoustics, food and drink available for purchase--table service available on the fourth level. Intimate venue--acoustics great, but i repeat myself. In the background were the remains of the foundry. Tours were available through the Tourist bureau and a walkway was there for a self-tour. In addition, there was an outside stage with food trucks and two theaters inside. PBS Channel 39 had a building with children's activities on site also. Go, if not for a concert, for a look back at history!

Imagine an old steel plant transformed into a destination place. The size of the steel stacks and the size of the old machinery is breathtaking. They have signs about the equipment and owners and laborers as you walk around the huge site. An amazing place to spend a few hours

Inside & outside concert venue, including a Levitt Pavillion, meeting / wedding venue, art gallery, outside area for Oktoberfest and other festivals, SteelStacks has it all. This building and expansive lawn sits at the base of the former Bethlehem Steel Furnaces which provide a beautiful and historic background.

The catwalk lets you get up close to really appreciate the massive structure. Also lots of free concerts!!

Went with my cousins to see our annual Southside Johnny holiday season concert and as always Johnny put on a very good show. The venue is a beautiful place to see a concert with great acoustics with food if you want. We choose just to stand and not be seated inside the Yunglein concert Hall.

What do you expect for $17. Not too much selections. You get what you paid for. Good enough for a quick meal.

I love this place. It s one of a kind. Other cities should look at this as a model to duplicate. Steel Stocks has it all. Inside, 2 great movie theaters with stadium seating. These movie theaters are also used for comedy & improve shows on a regular basis plus other special events like A Night at The Oscars or showing a free documentary such as, "Racing Extinction" to bring awareness of what is happening to our planet with a Q&A period afterwards. Food can be purchased as well as liquor. Upstairs, there is the Musikfest Cafe. Great place to see different kinds of music with no seat more than 60 feet from the stage. Behind the musicians is a huge glass wall of window where you can see the steel stacks lit up at night with changing colors. Just beautiful. Sound system is always great. Food &drinks are quality made. Outside, there is a stage and huge lawn area for free music almost every night during the warmer months. Also, there is a smaller stage and frequently when the main stage finishes, the smaller stage is playing. There is a farmers market every week/not sure of the day. Many special events are held outside like Cars and Coffee on Sunday mornings during the nice weather. Also, I saw huge screens outside for a soccer match with the crowd cheering on their favorite team. There is also a walking tour of the Steels Stacks where you can relive history with a guide. Or see the film on the history of Bethlehem Steel and it's demise. Overall, this facility is a 5 star GEM in my book.

We went for a concert on Thursday evening. My platinum club member friend reserved a table (with table service) upstairs looking down onto the stage. Which I thought was the cats meow. We were close to the bathroom. And I so enjoyed looking down onto the stage and a bit of people watching too. Acoustics were very good. A very nice intimate venue for a concert.

SteelStacks in Bethlehem is a true symbol of American industrial pride. Once home to Bethlehem Steel, famous worldwide for its high-quality steel used in iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Rockefeller Center, the site now has a completely new purpose.
While touring the old plant, I find it fascinating. You really get a sense of American ingenuity, especially when standing near the massive furnaces; it's impressive and humbling.
Today, SteelStacks has been transformed into a vibrant cultural venue. In the spring and summer, it comes alive with concerts, movies and performances. There's even a food court with a solid beer selection and a food menu to enjoy while you're there.
In December, the area hosts a huge Christmas market that's worth checking out. Public bathrooms are clean and plentiful, and parking is free--though depending on the size of the event, you might have to walk a bit to find a spot.
Overall, it's a unique mix of history, culture, and entertainment that's well worth a visit.

My wife and I enjoy the theater. New movies and old movies. Its comfy, cozy and you can have an adult beverage when you watch the movie. We went for the Zoo Keeper's Wife. Great movie and atmosphere.

This area is great. Love to stroll around the factory skywalk, the museum, walk along the road to the other abandoned buildings. The area has so much history and well maintained for an enjoyable day.

This was a ton of fun. Lots of awesome venders with unique gifts. $9 enterance fee was reasonable. They had a couple places to buy adult beverages which you could walk around with which was an unexpected surprise. We were shopping and walking around for hours. Then we took the free trolley into the town of Bethlehem for more shopping and beverages along with a good dinner at Fegley's Brew Works.

My husband enjoyed the casino much more than I did, so I opted for shopping at the outlets. Felt the air-quality was not what I enjoyed in the gambling area. However after a couple of hours we did eat dinner at Emeril's and the food was amazing!!
Shopping was fun too!

Went for a Christmas thing. They had 3 tents with different vendors and food.
It was really nice and the town is super cute.

Saw Renaissance concert in the indoor hall (3rd and 4th floor seating). It's quite a small place (seats 500?) where you sit a dinner tables - with dinner optional but a card said $10 per person minimum. Nice that it was NOT TOO LOUD :) There is also a 2-3 movie theater there, which shows 'indie' or 'art house' movies - which we enjoy back home but didn't have time to see.

What an amazing place! We happened to be in the area for something else and saw this place advertised, and decided to visit. Free parking, free band, lots of people, families and children. This is a great idea for deserted places, well done Bethlehem.

What a great place to hear and SEE music. Unique setting. Easy parking. Peaceful crowd. Clean. No obnoxious police presence. Decent acoustics.

We’ve been for several events recently and it has been great! Highly recommend Musikfest! Security has been excellent and the food has been amazing!

What a great idea for this venue to have a back drop of an old factory. So cool to imagine what it was like here when it was fully operational. We had lunch here with the Octiberfest band. It was a fun time. Band was great. Service was great and the food delicious.

I was on board the minute I heard that we could tour the old Bethlehem Steel Mill, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It turns out that you get up next to the steel mill in a visitor's center, on the trestle (which lets you walk right along next to it while elevated), and up to the fence at other parts of the facility, but the actual mill equipment is off limits of course. The tour is led by one or more people who used to work for the mill, who can tell you about its history and operation. It was a great insider view into the property and local industrial roots.
There are other things happening on this reclaimed industrial site, including the ArtsQuest facility, which has restaurants and live music at times, among other things, and the Museum of Industrial History (which has its own listing and reviews on TripAdvisor). Pretty cool what they are doing with what would otherwise be a decaying industrial area!

went for the Kriskindlemarket enjoyed walking around the stacks and the market, it is quite expensive to enter the marker if you are with a big group

There are always some special events going on there. Depending on what it is, it could be a very entertaining place.

I went to the ArtsQuest Cafe to see Mr. Phzzz/The Melvins/Boris. Everything about the experience was good, from the 1/2 pound hamburger (really) to the seating, the acoustics, even the cleanliness of the bathrooms. As soon as the venue has another act/tour I want to see, I'll be back.

If you are looking for a diversified place, this it! Inside you will find a nice gift shop, a bar, a place to get simple eats and a movie theater without all the big expense of the chain movie theaters. There are nights full of comedy, there are upper floors for concerts, and outside during the summer they have free concerts for you to sit and enjoy on their patio. You will have wonderful views of the Steelstacks across the street and also the stage across the street holds free concerts most nights during the summer. A playground for the kiddies with cork base for less mishaps is also right there. Fun for all ages!

Parked and went on a tour, walked in the sun for an hour. Tourguides passionate about sharing information and happy to answer questions. but quite confusing if you know little about the process. Not very clear to understand. No time to read signs. They leave you to walk out yourself. There's an exhibition too.

I went there on occadion of an art exibit
The place evokes lifr from the past inserted in a modern environment. The theather is great and the art show was excited.

So many things to do. Movies, concerts(we saw Graham Nash a few months ago) in an intimate venue, museum, casino, outlets and the Peepfest for the kids on new Years Eve! And more coming.

This venue is always a great place. We’ve been for weddings and other celebrations, and most recently went for the Christmas market. It’s a great area icon to check out.

Our excursion with Kathy Z was the BEST. She was so knowledgeable, to such details that this sight was even more AMAZING to us...BECAUSE of her !! If you are into the History of the Steel era that Started this town into a BOOM TOWN...this is the PLACE to see. PLAN on HOURS. The tour takes at least an hour and then there is a little bistro in the Arts building that is GREAT to grab a quick bite. Top off the day with MORAVIAN history and then a MEAL at the HISTORIC BETHLEHEM HOTEL !!! It would be best to allow for a weekend in Bethlehem !!

I came here for Meeting of the Malts VI at the end of March and this is a really nice venue. There's plenty of (free) parking and I love that they've renovated and are reusing the old steel stacks instead of tearing them down. The venue inside was spacious and we had no issues navigating it. I would definitely come here again for an event!

Wonderful place to visit and great music venue. We were there for a concert for Melanie and it was so nice!

What a sight of the area and what it offers from historical to modern. This is an excellent example of revitalizing an area from now modern to educating what once was. A must go to see.

What an amazing venue for a show. It is intimate, not a bad seat in the place. The stage is open and viewable from all areas. The acoustics are wonderful and the lighting is awesome. The backdrop of the historic steel stacks lit up at night adds to the ambiance. We had food and drinks during the show and the service was excellent. I'd love to see a show here again!

If you are staying at the nearby (walking distance) Sands Casino, but may need a break from the gambling, head here for a movie, popcorn, free lobby entertainment, and even a beer or glass of wine. First-run films are screened. Fun place.

We went to see Justin Hayward perform. This is an intimate setting. No bad seats anywhere. Good food, good drinks, reasonable prices.

This venue is roomy and comfortable and the views of the stage from all the tables were very good. Tab Benoit gave a fabulous performance and the acoustics were better than most venues this size. The Musikfest Cafe food was diasappointing, my brisket sandwich was very chewy and dry and the onion rings were a bot soggy.

Lots of history and very interesting history lesson about the industrial revolution. The educational signage is well done.

this is a nice place to walk around. I have never attended a concert here but it would be fun. we did attend peeps fest which was really nice but it was mobbed.
it is really cool walking the trestle and being able to look into parts of the original Bethlehem steel plant.
the light show on the stacks during christkindlmarkt is fun too

We visited this area for Christmas 2025 when the Christkindlmarkt was situated at the SteelStacks. It is beautifully decorated for the season!

The (Stacks) are located in an area near to the movie theater. It was enjoyable to have gone on the same days that the Christmas bazaar was going on. The walk through the Steel; Mill area was both educational and fun. They have a walkway built from one end to the other. Seeing the old mill and envisioning the workers in such a massive plant was exciting. We both like historical sights so we were well pleased. The Sands Casino is a short walk from the stacks so it was easy to get our lunch right there. We advise you to stop by the Stacks and enjoy a piece of history. The parking is free and close to everything!

4 fun and exciting tents at the Stacks (Arts Quest) with vendors, German goodies, food and Beer! We try and go every year and it keeps getting bigger and better.

Went to a movie and took a walk. Movie theatre is small and clean. Perfect. I love that you can bring drinks and food into the movie. The outside area is beautiful and the workers helpful. The price is right too. The only down side is that it is a little far to walk from the parking lot.

The area is a great spot for concerts, most are outdoors in front of the blast furnaces. Bring lawn chairs.

Great place to see a live show - Staging is great - Sound system is awesome - They have a restaurant and bar - Prices are a competitive - They also have a movie theater - All about the Arts .

Fantastic venues for sale or free. We love to come out after work and sit outside and enjoy some good music. It’s a pretty ambiance and nice to walk around.
It doesn’t matter what your going for whether a romantic evening, a stroll with the kids or just a get together with friends. You won’t be disappointed

This area was rather interesting in seeing the magnitude of the steel industry. Sadening though, to think of all the people who lost their jobs and the impact on the community. Hopefully, we can have the opportunity to see it come back. Appears though they would have to look for another location because of the building conditions here. Maybe I'm wrong. I am glad though that the city kept it standing just as a reminder how great this community once was because of it.

Walking the trestle by the steel stacks is one of my favorite things to do st Steel Stacks so much history and plaques explaining the steel making process. The view is amazing also. The ArtsQuest center always has things going on outside and inside the building. Bands play at Levitt Pavilion and the TD Bank stage outside food vendor and inside is a bar.

Outdoor concert venue that is really nice. There are some concrete benches in the back but you can bring your own chair and sit on the grass. Inside is a small gift shop and a bar. Also a food stand but with limited selections. The restrooms are always really clean!

Unique atmosphere, good food, service was excellent. This place is part of the rebirth of the area. We found Bethlehem has many new and eclectic eateries.

Christkindlmarkt is a great fair with something for everyone. It's a nice tradition when combined w Hotel Bethlehem and Santa's brunch.

The Steel Stacks dominate the skyline and the history of Bethlehem, PA so we appreciated the opportunity to learn about it.

Loved the Peeps Festival! Amazing conversion of old steel mill property. So much to do! Great for kids. Plenty of parking.

Is is a great venue for a party. The second and third floors overlook below. The curtains open and look out at the old blast furnaces which are lighted at night in various colors. Plenty of outdoor walking areas and seats to get away from the party indoors. A great place repurposed from an old steel mill property.

It is a nice place for a concert. You are very close to the stage and they have a bar and limited restaurant. Great view of the steel mill stacks.

Was there for 1st time Sunday, saw David Crosby. Of course Croz is my favorite singer song writer, but regardless of that, this place is really cool. I will go there whenever I can. I was only in the Musikfest Cafe itself, the indoor theater, but I can see how the outside amphitheater could be pretty neat as well.

Great stop convenient near casino and outlets and close to historic area. Theatres, restaurants, shopping. Kids events. Very enjoyable

The Steel Stacks entertainment complex has it all. This time when I visited I went to see a performance by Matthew Morrison and it was great. The Steel Stacks offers more than performances by great talent. On the first floor there is a movie theater featuring current releases. You can bring your own food and drinks and they have trays that hook onto cup holders on the seats. Mike & Ike café is located on the same floor as an alternative eating arrangement. Free kids shows on Saturday so check-out their website.
The second floor has gallery space and seating that over looks the stage on the first floor. Their is a private room for parties and the Sand's deck that overlooks the blast furnaces of the old Bethlehem Steel Works.
Located on the third floor is the Musikfest café. It's a cabaret style performance space.
They have two bars and table space that face the stage. Seating is intimate in this structurally modern steel and glass venue. At night the all glass backdrop gives you a spectacular view of the illuminated blast furnaces. Their are elevators and the bathrooms are clean and handicapped accessible. The last row in the middle section is better than any of the side sections. You will have no trouble hearing no matter where your seated. . Prices are reasonable especially compared to NYC.
In the summer, they have free concerts out at the Levitt Pavilion, Try to find some shade if you can. Food Truck Wars complimented by music are fun events.. It was a $10 entrance fee, food and beverages were not included. Music,. Yuengling beer and pierogi's were great. Walk the Hoover Mason Trestle located in the complex and learn about Bethlehem Steel in the glory days when their steel built the Golden Gate Bridge. The trestle historic walk is free.

This building is in a league of it on. One wall is all glass and gives you a view of the old steel mill blast furnace. The have free concerts in the summer on 2 outdoor stages that are free and showers inside that are not too bad of a price. It is the hub for kriskindlemart and the location for the paid concerts during musikfest. Go and take a good look at this place you we enjoy it.

This was a horrible experience. My husband and I bought tickets to see one of our favorite bands, Dustbowl Revival, playing at the Blast Furnace Room 101 Founders Way. This venue is advertised as an intimate experience, seating only 200 people. We were excited. The tickets were general admission, so we got there early in order to get second row seats. The room is one level with a stage only slightly elevated. Chairs were arranged in a semi-circle pattern, leaving an area in front of the stage with no seating. Was this a dance floor? Sure enough, when the band began playing, about 30 people crowded into this space, standing so as to completely block the view of the other 170 people seated in the room. After a couple of songs we left. I never did see the band at all. So disappointed. From now on, we'll go to the Sellersville theater.

Went to historic Bethlehem for a long weekend and visited SteelStacks. Hot day so we took in a movie. Had a couple of Drinks before the movie and walked around the amazing buildings.
I'd been there once before for a concert upstairs and it was worth it. If you get general admission you stand downstairs. However if you spring for a few extra bucks there's a small restaurant upstairs with waitstaff where you can have dinner and watch the show from your table.

Read reviews on the Hoover Trestle as it is part of this area. Sat morning a free childrens concert was happening. Gift shop, souvenirs, a great view of the imposing rusting Bethlehem Steel Works. Many sealed up industrial buildings are in the area. Sad but a great way to utilize the area. Large concert area. Not sure if the Mack Trucks that were on display are there all the time, very cool. Location of Music Fest. Plenty of free parking during day, not sure if they charge if events. Hard to describe the unique mix here, it is worth stopping by.

This place hits all the bells and whistles for small seating entertainment as there's not a bad spot to be found. Seating is right up close to the stage as is the top dinner level section looking down onto it. Lighting and sound mix is very good. Security isn't a pain in the ars which is a big plus, waiters are very accommodating. No smoking, clean everywhere including the restrooms, also a big plus. Merchandise sections laid out nicely. Elevators or steps option to seating. Good parking with OK outside lighting. Downside includes kitchen closing early and some menu prices are ridiculously priced. Directions to the parking sections after a dark could be better, signs into complex too since getting here through road work was a drag but well worth it. Entertainment time could've gone longer considering tix costs but probably not the venue's fault. Will keep coming back as long as the quality and variety of entertainment holds true. Highly recommended.

Lots of interesting independent films, musical performers. Primary venue for Musikfest also these days. Fascinating walk around the old blast furnaces with information and tours.

I recently took my visiting family to Steel Stacks in Bethlehem to see the blast furnaces and unique raised walkway through the old Bethlehem Steel works, and I was great impressed by the unique and interesting way it is exhibited. We really enjoyed the information signs along the walkway that explained everything that we were seeing of the the old Steel Mill. We then visited the casino and Mall area. Everything was very clean and very organized. Plenty of parking too!

My wife and I enjoyed another show, Tracy Morgan, at the Music Cafe. We make the one hour trek to this venue a few times a year. We like the venue and the various talent they present. We normally make an evening of it enjoying dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. They do serve food at the venue, but I can’t comment as we have not eaten their food. Parking has not been issue. Nice place.

Purchased tickets to see Judy Collins for my partner's birthday, we both just loved the evening. Arrived at Steel Stacks a little early so we could walk around the grounds, which happened to still have some fall flowers in bloom. Toured the Steel Stacks and walked the pedestrian walkway, learned about the history of the plant and the many people who gave their life to the steel industry.
The concert was just so much fun, Judy was funny and sang all of her hits, venue was quite small so you felt like you were part of the show. Great experience and a fun night out.

The 2017 OktoberFest at the SteelStacks was great fun and so were the sights of the old Bethlehem steel works.

Was able to take in a dinner/show while in Bethlehem. Great venue ... looks like just about any seat would have been a good seat! Super sound system and good tasting and reasonably priced food! We WILL be returning for future shows!

My husband and I spent a day touring the Old Bethlehem Steel site. We took both walking tours, The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel and the Hoover-Mason Trestle Tour. Our guide, Loretta, was exceptionally informative as she explained the history of Bethlehem Steel and the actual steel making process. You can walk the Trestle and read the informative signs on your own, but she made walk more interesting.

The Stacks have so many activities, it’s impossible to pick the best! They offer great music options, from free outdoors to featured artist on the top floor. They have a nice, although small, movie theaters with big box movies to some art shows - and you can bring your cocktail of choice into the theater. The many events that are offered are to many to list but go to the website and pick!
The history is abundant, you can take tours of the Steel buildings or Hoover Trestle, or just wander around in your own!

The beautiful story of Bethlehem steel...They have a walkway built from one end to the other. Seeing the old mill and envisioning the workers in such a massive plant was exciting!!!

Amazing structures/machinery from the steel era of days gone by.
Visited here & loved walking around & exploring before heading over to the Sands Casino.
Walked back through after 11pm & felt safe doing so. Neat area for concerts, good eats & kids.

Swear to god I would have been happier spending $7 as an exit fee. Can’t fault anybody for the cold, but this was the saddest public event I’ve seen just about anywhere. All of the attractions we were told about from years past were nowhere to be found and everything had a massive line with virtually nothing at the end of it (Ex. The “chalk station” which was literally a single open box of broke chalk on a table).
Our kids’ biggest excitement was to see the K-Pop Demon Hunters performance. Said kids are 5 and 8 years old. Their exact words were “that was embarrassing”. I don’t think any of us were expecting a Broadway-level performance, but the girls playing the characters didn’t even know the words to the songs. Call me spoiled, but I feel like that’s a pretty basic pre-requisite.
Best feature in the whole place was the coffee truck. 0/10, absolute waste of time.

Even though it's > 30 minutes away, SteelStacks is our go-to place for movies -- great art-house films plus beer, better-than-average popcorn/snacks, comfortable seats, and no car commercials. :-) We've also been to a number of concerts at the Musikfest Cafe -- a comfortable, intimate setting far superior to the nearby Sands -- as well as a few free outdoor concerts. There is literally nothing bad to say about SteelStacks. It's a wonderful community resource that really does have something for (almost) everyone.

It truly sounded like Karen Carpenter as on stage singing to us. We have enjoyed the Musikfest cafe for years. The acoustics are perfect, and what a great venue to celebrate Valentine's Day. The food was great and the band was magnificent!!

Loved just walking around the area and reading the various signs about the history of the Steel Stacks. We are so glad that they were able to save the area and put it to the benefit of the community. What a treasure.

The venue is nice and cozy. The show was upstairs and there was a small bar, stage and seats on 3 sides of the stage. Comfortably fit 150-175 people. Outside it was about 17 degrees F and windy. Cutting cold. Inside the temperature was perfect, around 68-70. Acoustics were fine and the show was great. Will definitely go there again.

All kinds of entertainment. Check out website. Looks really awesome at night. Enjoyed the free parking. Would definitely go back again.

I have seen at least 3 current movies here. There is PLENTY of parking, but the parking lot is nearly 3 blocks away - even for the handicapped section. The two movie theaters don't have many seats, but the seats are comfortable and partially recline. Sound and projection were first rate. Bathrooms are a HIKE from the theaters.

On the site of a former Bethlehem Steel mill they built a park, casino, industry museum, and a walkway next to the former steel mill. The former mill is still here and built walkways where you can come right up to it. This is the story of America. Immigrants came here from Europe around 120 years ago. They worked 16 hour shifts 6 days a week in a hot steel mill to build America. This is a story that needs to be told, we need to preserve some of OUR country’s industrial past.

Stopped by to see what was going on and realised a free concert was happening. Grounds were clean and nice so was the back drop off the steel stacks. Food choices were lack luster but who goes for the food. I would suggest you check it out

We went to the Steel Stacks at night and during the day. At night they are lit up beautifully with a variety of vibrant colors and look amazing. There are several sets of stairs and a walking path asking the stacks that allow you to walk the lengthy of the stacks for a closer look. There are also restaurants to eat at and a museum on site.

This facility has a theater, gift shop and performance venues. We were there for Peepfest and the Peepfest 5k. This is a good central location for Bethlehem activities: tours of the steel stacks, various shows and events. Easy parking

Our family attended the 2016 PeepFest for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect, and with a "tween" its hard to impress! First of all the event is entirely free. There were a few activities going on through the day. We came late in the afternoon to watch the peep drop and fireworks. (5:30 with fireworks afterwards) I've never been to the SteelStacks and it was fascinating to my husband and son. We are definitely coming back in the spring to take the tour for more info.
The Peepfest was great for families with young kids. It did get crowded in some of the areas. Parking was ample, but after the fireworks everyone left and most of the events were shut down, so you couldn't really do much afterwards. Everyone headed to the parking lot, which took a good hour of sitting in the car, waiting for the lot to empty in order to leave.
Fireworks were great and was fun for a free event. Not much food, just some tents with snacks. We did not go into the art center, so I can not speak to what is in that building. Something interesting and fun to do on New Years with the kids.

Dependent upon the time of your visit there is usually an outdoor event happening. From MusikFest to the Christmas Market, Bethlehem has made the most out this area of town for adults and families. Just down the street from the casino and outlet mall. This is a great town and place for a day excursion.

We had a wonderful work event at the Steelstacks center. It was very modern, decor was beautiful, and the food was just so good!

was short on time so did the vistors walkway which is a few flights up, then along the Steel towers. Very Cool. This abandoned steel mill eye sore is now a worthy photo shot, plus the Sands Casino next door makes it a destination. did not see meauseum.

Steel stacks would be a wonderful place if it wasn't stuck in the middle of nowhere!
the movie and entertainment venues are really quite good, showing "art movies" that are wonderful to see. it's a walk for you however, even if you drive there, lol. the parking lots are big but a couple blocks away, no big deal however. I made a separate review of the trestle walk with is also fabulous! Great place to visit in good weather!

I saw the Avett brothers there this summer. It is an outdoor venue so the risk of rain is always present, but fortunately the weather held. Nice venue. Near to the casino for after concert entertainment.

Located on the old Bethlehem Steel plant, this truly is an extraordinary place to visit. The industrial architecture is unique, and has huge historical significance. The site has something for everyone who enjoys American history, industrial esthetics, or cultural history. It is also home to the National Museum of Industrial History, which is worth a visit.

We had a large business meeting at Steel Stacks. My contract prohibits me from revealing the company that I was there with. The Steel Stacks provided great service - the staff was very helpful, the room was set up well, and all of our requirements were met. The room itself was private but we felt like we guests - not just paying customers.
We had Steel Stacks provide lunch - the plates had good food that was attractively presented and served quickly and with a smile. There was plenty of food and plenty of variety for people to choose from. After the meeting there was a social hour with great local snacks (pirogues, soft pretzels, meat and cheese trays).
The only downside was that parking, while plentiful, was about a block and a half away. Otherwise, I recommend Steel Stacks for this type of meeting.

For a week in August Bethlehem presents its Music Fest every year at the SteelStacks of the old Bethlehem Steel Mill. Clearly a future destination for myself and family. Caught Ian Anderson aka Jethro Tull on closing night and took part in the shuffling madness! For a week there are many, many Music Venues spread across the campus. Parks and lodging nearby, shuttle buses if you want to avoid the traffic and park at a nearby high school.. Music for almost every taste. Yuengling beer and many others and food and fun galore. I'll be there next year, come along. Check out the Stacks and old mill and just thoroughly enjoy some really awesome Americana.

My family and I could always find free entertainment for people of all ages here, from free concerts to holiday celebrations and fireworks. We love it!

We checked it out quickly because a storm was brewing. It was really cool to walk along the bridge and take pictures. The visitor center was next to it and was closed. So there wasn’t much happening on a Wednesday afternoon. The Arts center was closed too. Also, there were no bathrooms open.

So glad they didn't tear this all down when the steelworks closed years ago. It is an impressive sight, you can truly imagine what it was like in operation. The Hoover-Mason Trestle walkway gives you a close up view of the technology of the age. There are interesting placards telling the stories of the steel works and the workers.
The SteelStacks venue is great too. A fun place to eat and watch a band, although they need to do something to improve the slow service. I'm sure they would make much more money if they got their act togeher.

This is an amazing reminder of what Bethlehem Steel was all about . You are able to take a lift up to the walkway and check out the stacks up close and personal. Plenty of informative boards along the way outlining the history of Bethlehem Steel and plenty of places to sit along the way to take in the views over Historic Bethlehem and admire the gardens. . There is a visitors centre which again has plenty of information and a shop to buy souvenirs.

SteelStacks has become a cultural epicenter in Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. Concerts, movies, various events - you name it and it's here in one form or another. From the fine that have been bringing Musikfest to life every August - there is always something going on here!

Really cool to see the Steelstacks and guess how steel was made. There are tours available but we opted not to go. Would have liked to go up to the trestle walk but it was closed all week due to ice so I would check the weather before you go.

Great night out with friends! Great band ! One of our favorite venues. We love seeing shows here and they have good food 👍🏻

Kudos to Bethlehem for making a fascinating place out of what could have become a giant pile of rusted steel. Take the tour and hear the story of steel.

If you want to see an great concert, a comedy act of an art film, the Steel Stacks is the best place for these things in the Lehigh Valley. Plus a lot of other special events including MusikFest

We were hoping for an outdoor experience, similar to European Christmas Markets. Instead, everything is located inside heated tents -- which totally detract from the experience. Much of the merchandise was just okay (and the one genuine German products vendor was insanely overpriced), but we did end up finally finding a few things we liked. As for Steelstacks, the owners should be applauded for repurposing the old mill in a very interesting way.

We have family ties to Bethlehem Steel, so it was particularly interesting to us. Even our 24 year old son found it interesting. Well-thought out, and a good place to see.

This was just so disappointing. We came to learn more about the Bethlehem Steel complex. The Visitor's Center was closed with no notification on the website. Tried to buy tickets for a tour but they seemed to know nothing about what the tours offered. We opted to skip it. Needed a cup for water for our son but all food venues said they were prohibited from providing a cup.
Plenty of free parking.
Just didn't feel welcomed at all.

The site is a treasure with much to do and so much is free. All year there are events and during warmer months outdoor concerts. The mid summer Musikfest is the big (mostly) free event that takes place at this site. The year round events are things like indy movie theater for grown ups, smaller ticketed indoor concerts and cars and coffee car shows on Sundays during the summer that has a huge turn out. If you have the opportunity to visit the site it will have you coming back.

Loved this venue! So different than anything I've been to before. We then visited during the day and walked the trellis and was amazed by everything and that this could be the same place we were the night before. Highly recommend visiting for a concert as well as to walk through during the day!

My family and I have been for Christmas Kindlemarket and just to tour the Steel Stacks. It is really an amazing site and we loved the self guided tour - learning a little history of the town. It looks like an amazing place to see a show.

Check schedule always has something going on . Also close to Sands and Bethlehem attractions. Arts quest and Pbs are at Steel stacks as well.

In addition to the incredible history and the preserved remains of Bethlehem Steel, the entertainment ... much of it free ... food and drink, easy access and proximity to the Sands Casino, SteelStacks has something for everyone. And you're a stones throw from historic downtown Bethlehem.

The Stacks has everything maybe not on that particular night but variety it has!
Movies, music, comedy educational programs you name it and the Stacks is your spot
Check the web for updates and you are guaranteed to find something

my husband and I really enjoyed the sights and the learning. I'd like to bring my dad. Definitely some good photo ops.

My Poor rating is only because we could not find parking or an entrance to SteelStacks. We tried two different times. If you are planning to visit I would suggest getting detailed instructions on where you are allowed to park and where is the entrance. Sorry we didn't have more time in Bethlehem to find this out.

we recently attended the Blues Festival at Steel Stacks and it was truly great. The talented musicians and opportunities to see different artists makes it a worthwhile experience

Enjoyed the gift shop and photo ops. Enjoyed some afternoon live jazz in the lobby. Explored the building. Enjoyed the visit. Pre Musikfest preview night - visitors purchased some souvenir pins.

As someone who used to work at the Steel, along with friends and family of half the people in the area, this is a very sad place to visit. It was once a dirty noisy smelling polluting place but we were proud of it. The company just could not keep up with competition from new plants where the the equipment and processes produced far better product (not to mention working environment was safer, and the air pollution less.)
This is a must see in the Lehigh Valley. The walkway along the stacks is a highlight. Stop and read the info boards. Plan an afternoon so you can go to the museum.

I have gone here many times. I take folks who are visiting. So much interesting history about the area and the steel hay day of America.
Great place for camera buffs. And it is free.

its ok place but should be better. some of the places are nust empty and seems not atyracting too much venues. prices are a bit overhead and this place is only active during the musikfest. at my advice they nust reserve too much space for arts that on the other hand is not pushing businesses. furthermore you can admire the furnaces but it shpuld ptrserved a bit better. some of the complexes are in rotten state abd a mall with amenities would be beneficial. bethlehem has an active sudent force.

As we were on holiday from the UK & had heard about Bethlehem Steel from popular American culture, we took a 2-hour drive outside of Philadelphia to visit the town of Bethlehem.
Even as you come into the town from the highway, you can see the steel works in the valley below the town. It is one of the most impressive sights, I have seem of a steel works dominating the town's environment.
You can park for free at the SteelStacks car park and take a short 5 minute walk to the Steel works, which is no longer operational as it finally closed in the early 2000's after being in operation since 1857.
There is a stairway to the walkway, which may deter old or unfit individuals, but is easily achieved with normal fitness. Once on the walkway, it is possible to view the grandeur of the steel works at approximately 3 metres. Overall, the walk can take about 20 minutes.
Aside from the Steel Works, there is a cinema / movie theatre & a PBS station. Concerts are regularly held in the SteelStacks arena but we were not able to stay long enough to see a concert before moving on to Pittsburgh.

Came here for the Sangria Fest (great idea but the lines were too long). However my highlight was the entire venue. They have a nice walk with historical markers that take you right up against the old mill. There is an informative visitors center with clean bathrooms. A spacious cafe provides reasonably price drinks and light fare. The place really is special. Catch a concert here if you can.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the SteelStacks. It was Octoberfest and there were quite a few people that enjoyed the libations. Parking was confusing.

A must see - the sheer size and scope was unbelievable. It was sad to imagine the conditions in which the men worked. We walked along the highline and took many pictures.

I had the opportunity to go to an early movie at the Steal Stacks over the Thanksgiving weekend. From a theater standpoint, it was perfect. Nice intimate theater and not overly crowded. BUT....why would you have a movie shown at 11:30am but not have the concession area opened until after noon? I’m sorry, but movies and good buttered popcorn go hand in hand. We were assured that the stand would be opened PRIOR to our movie, but that was not the case. The associates did attempt to accommodate those of us there, but not fully. Either don’t lie and sell me a ticket (just to sell me a ticket), or don’t show a movie until the concessions are opened. Think REVENUE

We came here for the famous Christkindmas Market. It was our first time there and loved it, will be back every year!
Located literally on the old Bethlehem Steel property, they have free parking, you can walk around ans up on the balconies and see the historic abandoned steel property. It looms high in the sky and is a monster in size. Seeing that alone is worth the trip!
$9.00 a adult ticket (parking was free!) and you enter the market. Very festive, lights, music and decore! Enter the 4 large heated tents with tons and tons of artists, local companies, and food galore. We did alot of christmas shopping here and enjoyed the day. You can spend a full day here. Don't forget to check out the ice carving and hand blown glass stations!

My sister lives in the area and suggested this spot. It was very scenic and reminded me a little of NYC's highline. I learned a lot about the history of Bethlehem steel though the photos and viewing the remnants of the steel factory. Recommend a visit.

We were there in December for the Kriskindlemarket. Because we arrived early, we went into the visitor center and ended up watching a fascinating half hour film on Bethlehem steel, which also proved to be a sort of history of the town as well as the industry.

We did the tour with a former steel worker (there are several different types of tours so, pay attention when you sign up). First things first - the tour was two hours. They don’t make that clear at all, in fact, they tried to get us to get a ticket to the 30 minute movie an hour after the start of the tour. Anyway, we were of the impression it would only be an hour so we were getting a bit fidgety at the end. Having said that, the tour was very interesting. The steel worker had many interesting stories and insights without bashing management too bad. He got carried away with a couple of stories but, all in all, did a nice job. He didn’t go as much into the process of steel making as I had hoped so don’t expect to get too educated in the process.
You can do a self-guided tour and walk along the same catwalk, just without the stories. That would be just as educational, if not more so and you get the same views. Regardless how you do it, it is an interesting place and an important part of American history.

Gorgeous spot, but hard to find! Had a lumcheon here. The catering was ok, but it was really a modern and beautiful building.

Friendly people, great show ! Close to Sands casino. Beautiful reuse of closed steelmill. Much like High line in Manhattan. Recommend a visit any time of year. Holiday light show is worth a visit.

If only for the history of this magnificent place, it’s worth a visit. To learn about the history of steel in America. The gift shop, the movie theatre with great choices and a great pub. I have not been in good weather but seems like lots of things are there to do and bring the family to. Lots of parking. Nice to see there is some re-vitalization happening.

We were in Bethlehem to visit Christkindlmarkt and took some time to visit the steelstacks. I definitely recommend touring the area. So much history here.

My parents loved Willie Nelson and I ended up purchasing 9 tickets (about $250 each ticket) for my aunt, uncle, sisters, and brothers in law. It was supposed to be in 2020, but postponed until 2022. Funny, but originally I had got only 2 tickets, for me and my hubby, but after everything closed down my plan morphed into a family reunion with seats scattered... 4 seats at one table, 2 at another, and 3 at another.
Got to our tables under the covered tents to find one of the seats occupied. We figured someone was being rude and didn't want to get into an argument. My family didnt want to upset anyone and quietly moved to a table further away from the stage that was provided for smokers. No one smokes and 3 of us have cancer.
The next day, I checked my email and found one explaining that my already purchased seat had been resold and I needed to call to get another seat. I didnt check my email the day before because I was celebrating with family. I responded my being upset, but have heard nothing. After spending over $2,000 on this one event (we go there several times a year), I would like to think I am a valued customer. Guess not. Hope this is not a preview of a business going downhill.
I would still recommend visiting. It is usually amazing.

Fascinating. Visually terrific. Plan to go back. Excellent guide. Nice town for lunch and window shopping c

We had great expectations regarding seeing the Steel Stacks, and the website indicated that tours were available for the day we wanted to go (1/20/24). We made the 2 hour drive to go there only to find out that the tours were not being conducted due to snow covering part of the tour route. We were further told that it was closed "indefinitely"--and perhaps as late as April--until the snow covered areas would be safe for foot traffic. If you are planning a trip, you cannot rely on the website. Pehaps a call would provide better information and results.

We had a great visit to the Steel Stacks! We went on the Rise and Fall Tour with the movie. We initially thought we were going to get to go inside part of the plant which is not the case. It was very informational and we enjoyed the movie. My husband is a steel worker so it was neat for him to see things he was familiar with. The place has free concerts and a really neat walkway where you can get close to the stacks. There is a theater and food places as well. A very historic place!

I love this place! We visit once a year or so and there is always a new program, renovation or seasonal change to appreciate. The deliberate and thoughtful work to take this sight from an industrial site to a regional tourist destination is astounding. The addition of the High Line inspired walkway is terrific!
With food, drink and plenty of places to sit and people watch, it makes for a great day trip!
Kudos to everyone involved! Keep up the great work.

They've done a great job repurposing the hulking Bethlehem Steel facility as a cultural arts center with a Highline-style walk on the train trestle overlooking the massive structures. Did not visit during any concerts, but seems to have a lot going on.

We happened to drive by the Sands casino nearby and stopped to check this out. It was amazing here, an outdoor exhibition with so much local history. My kids enjoyed walking through and the playground. There's a movie theater across the street and a few eateries and a Peeps store. Glad we stopped to check it out.

Steel stacks is a great place. I often go to the concerts and it is very nice. People are great and the music is really good. Plenty of parking and food is good. Great place to go with family.

The Bethlehem SteelStacks complex, containing motion pictures, gallery, open air music venue was a compact, fun way to spend the afternoon. A great band with no obstructed views and a surprising "dogs welcome" policy mad for a relaxing time.

Very good music venue with good seating, sound, intimate experience. And you can get drinks!
Movie theater also has the same intimate setting. And you can get drinks!
A great place any time during the year.

It's amazing how intact and grand this is! You can almost see the men who worked there! A truly worthwhile look!

Been coming here since it first opened for various activities including concerts-indoor and outdoor. Free outdoor shows are every weekend in the summer. There are also many festivals including Oktoberfest and Sangria Fest amongst many, many more. Walks/runs including The Heart Walk and Alzheimer's Walk are also some other going ons at the Steelstacks.

This is a great area to get a real sense of this little town’s history. The backdrop of the steel Mills provide a great photo opportunity. There is a visitor center that provides tours, but there is also a walk up path that you can do on your own. You can walk along the stacks and it is fascinating

The "stacks" are pretty impressive, from far away or up close. Makes for some awesome photos, day or night. Nice walkway that lets you get close enough to see way down into the center of these "stacks". Really makes you think of what it was like at the height of steel production there.

The Musikfest Cafe is a good venue for intimate entertainment. Comedians and musicians are both enjoyed here. There are two bars. Drinks and pub food are both available. Service is very good.

If you arrive at the Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem during peak, it may take 30 or more minutes to find a parking spot. When events take place nearby, many of the parking lots are reserved for attendees of only those business establishments. As parking is limited, you may have to walk 20-30 minutes to your destination. So, if you were intending to shop, are or are with with a handicapped person, have a plan. As for me, after 30 minutes of driving around to park, I left. Hopefully, there are plans for improvement in the future. Freshly painted crosswalks need to happen, too.

So glad we made a stop to explore the Steel Stacks. It really brings the reality of America's complicated success and failures of the industrial Revolution into focus.

We weren't sure what to expect but the former Bethlehem Steel works is a well-done walkway up about two stories along the former catwalks and tracks. Signs provide a sense of the hulking equipment and importance of the steel. Even up in the air the works loom over. There's an exhibit and movie with more information below.

We saw an indoor show, which was just two guys trashing the movie "Independence Day." Some found it funny. I didn't. To each his own!

We were fortunate to attend a dinner concert for the funkadelic band, Here come the Mummies.
Great band for having a light bite and take in the music.
This venue also houses a movie theater, Bethlehem themed gift shop and other rooms for events.
In the Spring and Summer time take in a free concert on site at the outdoor Levitt Pavillion. Bring a blanket, lawn chair and watch the musical acts for free. There are stands that provide drinks, including alcoholic varities.
The Steel Stacks is also filled with Bethlehem Steel history. Take a walk on the elevated walk way and learn about the history of the Bethlehem Steel as the blast furnaces are the backdrop. My favorite time to traverse the walkway is as the sun is setting. Great photo ops
Looking for something to do check out the Steelstacks and Enjoy!

Friends recommended I stop by the SteelStacks on the way out of town. I am so glad I did. This is an amazing monument to Bethlehem Steel, consisting of the actual towers of the former plant, on site. Massive and amazing, and highly photogenic!

Take an old steel plant and make it into an arts venue and you have the coolest, eclectic event and arts center that makes you proud to be a part of the Lehigh Valley. So much to do from movies, to concerts- both small and large, plays, food, drinks, learning, art, you name it. I just love everything about Artsquest.

A very comfortable venue. The acts are mainly for an older crowd although they have some newer comics.
The drinks and service is good. And they have food that okay for a music venue.
The movie theater is terrific.

This venue is a terrific adaptation of an old, industrial complex. If you're coming down here to see a music act or another event, give yourself plenty of time to just wander around. The venues are terrific -- intimate and fun. Landscape is engaging. Just a super cool place to visit -- but wear your comfortable walking shoes - stilettos may not be the best choice here.

I was very impressed with this brownfield redevelopment. The civic planners for Bethlehem (and corporate sponsors) have to be commended for the manner in which they have redeveloped the property. I am excited to see how the rest of the property is developed/reused.
It is hard to grasp the scale or the working conditions for the men working here without actually visiting up close. The trestle is a must-do even for families with small kids.
I wasn't there during a day when they had a tour- so I did the audio tour which is very well done especially in the way that they provide additional media to augment the stops if you want to delve further.

Elevated walkway among the stacks! Great photo opt. Great thing is that it is free. Be sure and see 20 min film in the information center. The film explains the history of the steel mill.

This is a great music festival that takes place all over Bethlehem in early August. If you like music and pretty much any kind of music you can find it at this festival. There are events you must pay for, but for the most part they are free. Add to that the endless food and beverage opotions and it's a sure fire win for any kind of day. Most entertainment is presented under tents so even on a dreary day such as the one I attended the festival this year, it's still a great time! They offer free parking and very reasonable shuttling to the festival site which makes it very convenient. The busses run continuously so very rarely do you have to wait for transportation to or from the sattlelite parking areas.

Bethlehem, PA, is not a city to say "look at me," like a number of wannabe cities but simply states here I am. The Steel Stack is what was the remnant of Bethlehem Steel, all massive rusted structure massively and awkwardly arranged as the skyline take it or leave it. But this place is a welcome respite. A movie theater, grand walkways and vista are part of the panorama.

I live near an ex steel town in the U.K. so I was very interested to see what had been preserved here .
The site brought back many memories and I was impressed with the viewing platforms and just how much had been preserved .
Yes it’s rusty but that adds to the history . Which my town had preserved our furnaces .

Another place in the area you can see amazing shows, separate from the norm, variety and arts programs. It is nice to see an arts focused center in the Lehigh Valley. They also are a part of the many concern and arts festivals. Love visiting here.

Not sure what to do on Bethlehem's Southside? More often than not something interesting is happening at SteelStacks...live music, children's programming, art exhibits, and comedy. While you're there, grab a brewski or coffee and head up to the observation deck for a beautiful view of the steelworks and Lehigh River beyond, or check out a movie at the Frank Banko Alehouse Theatre. Outdoors, cozy up by the firepit, stroll the Tressel bridge, or take the kiddos to the sweet little playground.

Steel Stacks is an amazing reminder of the industrial revolution. Towering stacks of rust stained steel remain from the bygone era of mass steel production in the US.
The elevated walkway takes you up close to the structure.

Went this past weekend to see The Record Company, a great band. Our hotel shuttled us there-- not much nightlife right around that area, but this place was a great, open space to see a band. There is a general admission area floor in front of the band where you stand, and then tables/seats all around it, on 2 floors. Not a bad seat in the place. They also have a music festival in August and will definitely consider going there to see it. I would come back here to see entertainment in a heartbeat! Serving staff was quick to get you drinks, but there's also a bar area you walk up to. GREAT place!

SteelStacks is a great photo opportunity if you are in the area. I wish we would have been able to have take a tour or go inside but the photos were awesome! Very historical.

My daughter had a dance thing here, it's really nice. Will go back for other events. I think they have a lot of events to attend.

We visited the SteelStacks to attend the Chriskindlmarkt and it was fabulous! Just to see the old steel mills was amazing. Very historical and fascinating.

Steel Stacks and The Sands Casino are my go to places in the Lehigh Valley.
Excellent Concerts!
The food is excellent but a bit over priced.
Parking is great.
The spring yard sale at Sterl Stacks is amazing.
Enjoyed watching world cup a few years ago outside. What an amazing experience.
A little hard to find. But if you have good GPS, NO WORRIES.

We love the Stacks!
From Memorial Day to Labor Day free music.
Great bands, good food too.
Bring your own chair & donate some $ to keep this going.
What a great way to reuse a great retired mass of metal.
Reminds me of a Pink Floyd album backdrop

I would say the buffet is good during the week but weekends I feel it's overpriced. They have delicious garlic knots but not under a heat lamp so they are cold especially with the air conditioning on.
One bad thing I noticed they would have an entree item and you would go back it would be gone. They constantly change their entrees. So if you see something take it or it may not be there the next time you go up.
It could use improvement. We were there once where the food was not hot. They need to turn it more or put up the heat under the sterno..

We visited here for PeepsFest to ring in the new year on December 21, 2019. The event was great and fun for kids of ALL ages (we have teenagers, but my husband was in heaven!). The venue is spectacular though. I wish I could visit here frequently. Amazing thing to do with the old steel plant. Loved taking pictures - and the giant Peep with the steel stacks in the backdrop was a fun juxtaposition.

Found this on our recent trip there. Loved being able to walk and get up close the the steel stacks. Great place to visit. Definitely go to this ans check it out.

Frank Banco theatre best place to see best movies in area. Enjoy a real drink while viewing and find the movie no one else is showing👍👍

The tour for the stacks was really interesting and I love how this massive factory has been incorporated with green space and the Artquest center!

Great atmosphere. The plants are lit up and look pretty neat. The kids really enjoy walking around this area and there is a cool arcade at wind creek.
Blase Garrecht

I have to say that I've never cared a whole lot about steel production, but I do love old stuff, especially old abandoned stuff. While this isn't technically abandoned anymore, the steel stacks walking tour still has plenty of abandoned feel. I love how they took the tracks to make a place for us to walk, and the greenery is a nice addition. I imagine it's even more lovely in the spring. It reminds me of the High Line in NYC. It was rather drizzly & windy when we were there, which made it pretty chilly & somewhat slippery. But, it was still worth the stop. I got lots of great pics. :)

Very cool place, great for pictures! I hear concerts hear are great, hope to catch one next visit! We walked the catwalk where you can see different sections of the old steel plant. It was fun for a short day trip.

Around 120 kiosques of arts and crafts. Beautiful items for all. The set up was very well organised and the merchants very friendly. We took the trolley to get to the market, it was pretty nice.

Amazing venue with so much going on. Love the free concerts and the walk above the trestle with all of the informative signs. This is really the gem of Bethlehem-- every single person told us to spend our summer here when we moved here. And we will! Watching movies, concerts, celebrating Musikfest, enjoying Yuengling and pierogies, and even bringing our dog! Next time we'll be sure not to forget our lawn chairs!

This was a must do if visiting this region. It doesn't take long and is free. It tells a good story of American history and an amazing example of revitalizing a former industrial site.

When Pa went green Steel Stacks had a Latin band. We had drinks and a huge pretzel. Our waitress was Lucy she was fantastic! What a nice evening. Can’t wait to return.

I come here at least once a month to see a film usually an independent that you don't find in one of the big complexes. 2 very comfortable theatres, food and drinks (alcohol available) at the stand and very clean bathrooms). The concerts are also great on the upper floors.

Spent a night at the Sands Casino and took in a comedy show here. The show itself was a disappointment, but the physical space is very interesting. It houses several different venues for arts and attractions. When we first walked in there was an oldies band playing in the "lobby" and several couples were dancing and having a great time - for free. This is an amazing re-purposing of a huge industrial site. I checked the listing of events and shows and was impressed at the concerts and performers they have lined up. Give it a look if you're within a couple hours of here.

Bethlehem had an amazing idea when they decided to offer free concerts at Levitt. We have attended many since they began... all different types of music... many groups who command high ticket prices in other venues also perform! Thank you to all who make this possible for our area!

Many of the concerts are free. So is the parking. We recently moved to the area and went to the Steel Stacks to hear the U.S. Army Field Band. The old and rusty Bethlehem Steel Mill provided the back drop. Despite my description, the structure provides a unique, but impressive setting. Just bring a lawn chair, sit in the park, and enjoy the show. We had so much fun, and met so many interesting people, that we returned the next evening to hear another band.

We have seen several shows at SteelStacks / Musikfest Cafe and have never been disappointed. Food is good and hot when it is served. Drinks are made well. Servers are SO friendly! My only complaint would be to keep the bar open after the show so we can all spend more money and network and talk about the show!

Great place for a movie, concert, or to book a tour of the old Bethlehem Steel site. There is more than one concert stage. Some concerts are free, some are paid.

We visited the Christmas market at the stacks and it was very tastefully done. Three tents of vendors, some 150+ in one location with much to offer. Mostly local artisans which made it very special as well.
The food tent says they offer real German food but don’t expect it. What they offer was very good but not very German.
A really good place to visit and enjoy some history of Bethlehem with events of today. It really is very ominous to tour the old plant area and imagine the many generations of workers that contributed to many, many cities using steel beams and iron goods.
We thoroughly enjoyed this site and recommend this to all.

The stacks themselves are amazing to see alone and now they have added an elevated walkway so that you can get up close to see the stacks and machinery that produced steel.
So much to do in the area.
Concerts. Movies. Chriskindlemart. The casino is close. Food court.
There is a museum that is across the parking lot that I want to see next time. We saw it on the way out. Outlets are easy to get to and the sands event center is right there also.
Plenty of parking but it does fill up fast closest to the events.

Dress for the weather and season. Wear comfortable shoes. If your visit coincides with a special event, arrive early. The parking lots fill up quickly. Stop in at the Visitor’s Center. Use the bathroom. Watch the orientation movie. Take advantage of the walking tour, or engage in the self-guided tour.

Catch a movie that you won't find elsewhere, and support the arts movement in one of the places that helped build America! Buy a shirt that shows your support for Bethlehem steel, and enjoy the stadium seating during your show!

The good is so good!!! The steak was cooked amazingly, I couldn't ask for more as a customer. The server were courteous and quick, food was exquisite.

A must visit for travelers and area residents. Top flight talent at admission Musikfest Cafe, FREE shows every weekend from April to September. Many festivals throughout the year. PLUS, a trip back in time with Museum and retained steel making facilities of Bethlehem Steel. Our family and friends visit constantly.

We came with another couple to see CARBON LEAF, who, as always, were great!
The venue itself, set amidst the rusting hulk of the old steel mill, is just beautiful! While the act performs, you gaze out floor-to-length windows at the softly-lit edifice (also a nice touch...the flaming arch). Crisp clear sound and comfortable seating with great sightlines and a professional, attentive staff. Ample, free parking...
They offer reasonably-priced drinks...but....all 4 of us got the 14 dollar cheeseburger...you’ve got to be kidding! Served on a stale-tasting roll with just-okay beef...we all agreed it was one of the worst burgers ever. On top of that, the other couple paid 5 apiece for limp, soggy fries...stay with the chips...they were delicious!
To sum up....as a music venue....5+!
As a restaurant..2...

I’ve been to the Steelstacks on several occasions; watched a few films, taken a few “classes”, attended a couple of shows, and joined in a few activities they had going on. There’s always something to do, no matter what your interests are. Demographic can be skewed sometimes but it’s Bethlehem. Overall great place, programs, and atmosphere. If you’re visiting or a local, I’d look into what’s going on currently and get involved.

We had a blast at our first Peep 5K and seeing the peep drop for new years. Definitely great for younger children (4-8) as ours are 13, but they still had fun.

We attended a concert by Chicago on the Wind Creek Steel Stage on August 5. It was our first time seeing a show there and we paid for the premium tickets on the Steel Terrace. The view from our seat was so bad that all we could see was the slide of the trombone when Chicago was on stage. There was no mention that these were obstructed view seats on their website when we purchased. I complained to the ushers and they sent.Curt Mosel , COO of Artsquest to talk to me. He offered me my money back if we agreed to leave the show immediately! The show was only halfway through and we drove an hour and a half to get there so we did not take him up on that. We did find empty seats with a slightly better view on our own . Chicago did put on a great show of what we could see of it.

Living in Bethlehem we are fortunate to enjoy movies, concerts, comedy and special events throughout the year. It is a hop, skip and a jump to great and reasonably priced ( if not free) entertainment. We go regularly to events and love sharing it with out of town family and friends.

The Ale House cinema is a wonderful place to see a movie. They often have films that are hard to find elsewhere. It’s also nice to be able to get a drink at the bar and take it into the theater. However, the bar prices are ridiculous. $11 for a single shot drink at an afternoon viewing. Obviously never heard of Happy Hour, or just not interested selling drinks.

Enjoyed the National Industrial Museum and then walked over to the former Bethlehem Steel. You can take a paid tour or just walk around. The enormity of the once vibrant steel mill is staggeringly. One end converted to a Sands Casino. There is a movie theatre, outdoor performance space, public television studio and much more. Hard to see such a once vibrant facility continue to decay - but parts are being repurposed. Enjoy the views.

They have the elevated walk way to see the old steel stacks. It is beautiful in the summer to sit out and listen to the free weekend concerts while the sun goes down and the stacks are lit up. In the Fall and Spring, there are free concerts on the patio. In the Winter, music is inside, but these are most likely to be locals. Upstairs they have a two story Paid concert venue. The main-stage of Muskfest is also here on the "South Side", in the summer.Once per hour, in the evening, they light up the burning sculpture over the road for 5 minutes which is beautiful at night. The ART Cinema is my favorite haunt. You can take in cocktails which you purchase at the bar just outside the door.

They have a scaffold trail that runs along the Stacks, so you can look inside the old steel plant. It is surreal and an easy walk. They have some great interpretive signs that explain what you are looking at, and there's are museums, theaters, and shops and restaurants. This place is one of the best urban retrofits I have ever seen. You can easily spend a day exploring all there is to see at the stacks.

Good breakfast, quick easy, happy no buffet however it could have a few more items to select from like oatmeal, granola etc

The Hoover-Mason Trestle which conveyed the steel through the smelting and shaping process has been turned into a fascinating pathway. The trestle bridges the commercial Sands Casino / Hotel / Mall complex and the creative Steelstacks / Artquest showplace. As long as you can climb the well designed flight of stairs to the walkway it is an easy hike. As one walks along the broad elevated system, there are information displays explaining how each building and section functioned. The enormous now rusted structures are indeed picturesque.

Great atmosphere, drinks and entertainment. Love going To Musikfest every single year. Also impressed with the security there.

I don't know what we expected but this was definitely nothing for us it actually was boring nothing for the kids to see either

The Banko cinemas are one of the few places in the Lehigh valley to see quality motion pictures. Many of the Oscar nominated movies and winners can be seen here.

Very cute place! Wonderful mix of new architecture blending with old town memories. Grounds are beautiful. Can’t wait to go again for one of their many shows

This really is an amazing venue with great versatility for events, shows and movies. With outdoor and indoor options depending on the season Steel Stacks has great options to host an event and attend others. I've been here photographing many events and live the background of the old Bethlehem Steel. Enjoy!

Went to see little feat residue (post Lowell obviously). Music was ok. Maybe a little past their prime ;)) food was barely bar food

"Big Whiskey" would like to thank SteelStacks for inviting them to play at this year's Musikfest. Everything was well-organized, even the parking. It was a fun event; a great music venue.

We stopped by in the afternoon and really loved it. The transformation from Bethlehem Steel is amazing.

We visited the Steel Stacks and decided to take a tour. Our guide, Joe, was phenomenal. Because I had hurt my knee and was limping, he went slow and made sure I was okay. Even when I could not go to the tressle due to stairs, he explained exactly what they were going to see up there so as not to exclude me. The tour was very interesting and informative and I highly recommend it. So sad if its demise.

Had movie passes to this place and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere that was very retro and industrial but the theatre was modern and cool. Very well done!

Had A wonderful time with my Road Dog yes it was it was GREAT Thanksfor ur help went to Emerial for Thanksgiving dinner seafood for me this year it's was good

Went with family group. Took the tour. The tour guide was very informative and explained all the relevant physical structures; in addition to the history of the steel industry, mill and surrounding area.

My wife and I were literally down the street for a concert at the Sands. The next morning we wandered over with our cameras and were blown away. What a great idea to maintain the foundry in a way that allows visitors to appreciate the immensity and complexity of the steel making process.

Great liftoff free and pay activities that would fit any budget or family size. Love all he outdoor fun in the summer, love brining the kids of meeting friends fro drinks.

Location is very unique. Indoor and Outdoor venues of music, concerts, food, bars, outlet shopping within walking distance with the Sands Casino. I love it there during Musik Fest in the summertime, and for the holiday festivals at Christmas time.

We were moving north, but stopped here for 2 hours. Just loved the history, the inspirational hugeness, the knowledge to put it together and the dedicated efforts to run it - it is a free venue and then check out a movie, the bar, stores.....

It's hard for me to describe the strange haunting beauty of the ruins of the Bethlehem Steel facility in Bethlehem, PA. I have been there twice, and walked along the catwalks that run along side the old blast furnaces.
It is a very emotional experience, as you look at pictures of generations of workers who made their livings in the once thriving rust belt of the United States.
There is a picture taken on the day they did the last pour at Bethlehem Steel, with a caption describing the tears of the employees working that last shift on that last day.
Both times I visited, I was approached by older men who told me that they had worked at Bethlehem Steel. They were anxious to describe what it was like to work there, both for almost 30 years, and to describe how their fellow employees had become like family to them.
I am so glad that this historic place has been preserved and turned into something that will be used and visited for generations to come.

Visited Steel Stacks for my nephew's wedding. Loved the ecclectic combination of old and new. I thought the flaming arch was incredible but went to take pictures of it when it got dark and it was shut off.
Wow, such a great adaptive use
What a great park/entertainment venue with historic site and interpretive museum all in one setting. We absolutely enjoyed the visit here and got a lot out of it. It's truly a one-of-a-kind place rich in history and wonder. Definitely recommend stopping by.
