It was suggested by friend to go see Bubba at Tennessee Shine in pigeon forge, and that we would be missing out if we did not. They were TOTALLY correct. We had awesome time with him at the tasting, so much so, we came back next two nights!
June 4, 5, 6. Hes a great fella, and makes shine tasting quite the experience!! if your ever in pigeon forge, and plan a moonshine tasting, Tennessee shine company is the place to go!! Bubba will hook you up!! take a walk with Bubba!! thanks Bubba for the great experience!! keep it up!!

Bubba is one of the coolest guys. We come 2-3 times every year and we always come see him at Tennessee Shine. On your vacation make sure you stop and see him.

Bubba is the best at Tennessee Shine. He makes your visit worth the trip. He is always nice and enjoys seeing his customers try new flavors

Great time—Wild Bill was fun and informative! Great time. Come visit Captain Spaulding… just as fun and not as scary. Drinks are great but company was better.

We had Bubba as our sample server. He did a great job and we had a great time with him. We went to Gatlinburg to see him just to find out he moved to pigeon forge so we drove there to sample from him and buy our shine there.

What a awesome time. Brian did such a great job on the tasting. He was so funny and just made the experience even better. Whole staff was amazing. The flavors were so good. I was a VIP for around 30 min. Thank you Tennesse shine. We didn't leave empty handed

Of all the Moonshine places in the area you must stop here on Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge. The staff at this location is top notch! Heidi is great and took us through all of the wines. These wines are fantastic! We ended up taking quite a few home. Bubba is the funniest shine server in the area. The mixed moonshines were out of this world. We ended bringing some of these home as well. We will definitely be back to visit Tennessee Shine Company and Heidi and Bubba.

Nice little museum. When finished with the museum we went to the wine bar for tasting. Big Sexy was working he was a smooth talker and was aggressive for a sell. Went over for shine tasting and seem to be ignored.

Bubba did a great job with making everyone feel welcomed and was very entertaining! Tennessee Shine Co Rocks! Make it a point to check out this great place.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere! Worm was our bartender and he was hysterical! We had a great time! 10/10 recommend!

Tennessee Shine has gotten too big for their britches. Even the Pigeon forge location is charging for samples. Old Smoky and all the Gatlinburg places were forced to charge for sampling. Most all the rest of the moonshine retailers offer a few sips gratis. The gal on duty incorrectly advised that ALL the liquor distillers charge now. At any rate, we've been customers of this brad for 6 or 8 years and enjoy the creme product, so we gave 'em some business. If you're touristing in the Smokys, just go someplace else.

The level of customer service is top notch because these were the nicest people! The shine is amazing and we will def make this a staple every time we’re here!

Worm was great! Provided an enjoyable tasting experience with his witty one liners! Very patient with my wuestios, and knowledgeable with his answers.

My wife and I went in just to experience the tasting and had a great time. We had Wild Bill as our host who was very fun and experienced in any questions we had for him.

This was an amazing experience for a cold rainy day. So many decisions in one trip. Moonshine tasting was amazing, we went when it wasn’t busy so it was very personable and they took the time to explain the different flavors and went above and beyond our expectations. We did the moonshine tasting first, then did the wine tasting with Christina. We purchased bottles from both the wine store and the moonshine store. Will definitely be back our next time in the area!!

The most creative tasting room, with everything from candles, food and spirits! Lots of fun & the staff is awesome!! Hard to make a choice of the best flavor!

We walked in early Monday right after opening and was welcomed with great hospitality from Shana,Brittney and especially BUBBA with giving us an amazing moonshine taste test. He gave us a lil bit of history of not only of the company but also his personal story which was very interesting and we absolutely loved the hospitality from everyone. They were by far more comfortable to talk to than some of the other distillers around town. I very very much recommend stopping in and trying out their stuff, their moonshine is slightly more authentic too if i do say so myself.

Bubba and this tour were a BLAST! We’ve done a few tastings since being here and this was by far the best. He is very gracious in the pours and very knowledgeable. Definitely reccomend

Tasting with Bubba was amazing! The entire staff was super friendly! They all made it fun. The flavors of moonshine and bourbon were excellent. We left with a truck load. A must stop in Pigeon Forge.

Great tasting with Bubba! He had some really fun suggestions and I learned I love Bloody Mary's (or at least theirs!). Their own Bloody Mary mix with their jalapeño cornbread moonshine topped with a splash of their pickle juice 🤤 So glad we stopped in.. thanks for a great time!!

Bubba is the best server and just a great person!! He always is so friendly and always has a smile on his face. His drink concoctions are delicious. He is always a highlight of our trip. We visit several times a year and always remembers us. Great employees are hard to find this day and age and you have a great one in Bubba!!

This was a great stop because some people in our group like wine and some like moonshine. Everyone was happy.
There is a working still on the back room and Paul was more than happy to walk us through how the moonshine process works. He took the time to answer all of questions except their recipe. 😉

So I had been in there once before and had so much fun! This time though, wow. We walked in, were greeted by the register employees promptly they were so nice! So we go to stand at the tasting bar, the only thing this older man says to us is “you boys better go look around and see what ya want cause I got about 20 people about to come up here” in the most dismissive way possible, so we left. He then says loudly “well I don’t tell them to leave!” Well what the hell are we supposed to do?? Sit and wait after you dismissed us so quickly? Yeah forget it.

Bubba is the greatest!! What fun!! Bubba treats uou like family, and if you dont feel like family you will once hes done with you!!

Went to Tennessee for a quick weekend getaway and stopped in Tennessee Shine for the moonshine tasting. Bubba was our bartender and he was great. Lots of fun, made the experience very memorable. He knew the shines and mixed them to make some amazing combinations as well. Will definitely stop in again the next time we are in town.

Visited Tennessee Shine in Pigeon Forge Tamilee was excellent. Top of line experience . She was amazing. Must visit and ask for Tamilee.

Rented a cabin nearby with my husband, sister in law, and friends … we were passing through the area and noticed the moonshine tasting sign turned around and figured we would give it a try. So glad we did, it was a very fun and informative experience. Heidi , Bj, Worm and another gentleman who told us about the wine slushy were all very nice and the moonshine and wine was amazing 🤩

We have tried many moonshines over the years, commercial and backwoods, and this has to be some of the smoothest hands down. On top of great shine Bubba was our bartender and he was so fun, cracking us up and well as giving us a great taste of what Tennessee shine Co has to offer. We have all heard of old Smokey and Sugarlands (which have some good offerings) but TSC is superior in taste! Highly recommend checking this place out if shine and fun is on your list

We were visiting the area for my husband’s birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. JMoney and Wild Bill the bartenders were very entertaining . Paul who runs the moonshine distillery was very informative having done this all his life.

Scott was the best, most entertaining bartender we could have asked for. He was the coolest, funniest ever! We do shine tastings all the time & he was the best we’ve dealt with by far. The store was so clean & smelled amazing. The staff is absolutely great, anytime your in the area stop by & see Scott! You won’t be disappointed!

We've been to Tenneesee Shine Co numerous times, but this time, by far has been the absolute best visit. Bubba is the best bartender that we've had at any tasting. He's funny and treated us like he's known us all his life. We will definitely be returning. 10 out of 10, highly recommed.

Morgan made the first visit really fun, left feeling pretty good. We had to make a second trip back and ended up buying a sampler and Whiskey

Bubba was the greatest and kept us laughing! He is knowledgeable with which shine mixed well together and will always have us as loyal customers when we are in Gatlinburg. The girls were super helpful and such a good time as well. They had wine slushes that were off the chain. 10/10 you will not regret the experience!!!!!

We met Paul in the back by the actual working still. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the still and the Moonshine process. He was a literal gem and so polite. We loved speaking with him!
We then moved to the tasting counter and found BJ who, again, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about the history of the recipes and which shines went best with what mixers, etc.
Overall a great experience and a must stop on your next visit!!!

Britt was awesome!! Super friendly and fun. Wines were great and i purchased Rocky Flat Red. Moonshine was also very good. Purchased White Chocolate raspberry and Jalapeño cornbread. Excellent selection. Only con was that it smelled nauseatingly like marijuana that we left early instead of shopping for more bottles. We couldn’t do the smell. We would have liked to have shopped more and even check out the shirts but couldn’t handle the smell. Pet friendly

My boyfriend and I took a trip for his birthday weekend to the Great Smoky Mountains and our stop at Tennessee Shine Company was one of our favorite parts of the trip! We are so glad we chose this place to get moonshine because the experience inside sold us! We had the pleasure being served by BJ who provided us with many laughs and knowledge about the products. We spent longer than we anticipated there but we aren’t mad at all! We left with great memories and lots of yummy take home presents! Straight off the Still is my boyfriend’s favorite and brought 2 home from our 6 pack we made! Seriously can’t thank BJ and everyone at Tennessee shine co for a great experience! :)

What an AMAZING experience! The spirts, shine and wine were all wonderful, but it's the people that make it so special. Bubba, Paul, Heidi and the other ladies were great hosts. The fun begins the moment you walk in the door! Instantly greeted by fun, friendly staff. Tasting all the moonshine flavors, bourbons and whiskeys (all excellent) was taken to a new level when served by Bubba. He made the tasting so much fun, showed us how to make flavorful mixes, and was just a sweet soul. A great stop and one of the highlights of our trip to the smokes.

As I was pumping gas, I seen the Tennessee Shine Company and I said “This may be the real deal” B.J gave a great presentation very energetic and passionate about the Moonshine and history. We took a chance selecting this distillery due to its convenience to our stay. We had an absolutely delightful and fun experience with Scott in the moonshine and spirits section and then Shana in wines. What a great team! And we loved our selections enough to bring some home to New York!

Everything was good and the service was exceptional. Try the pink kitty and the dill pickles! Katrina, Scott, Brittany were so so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Literally had the best time. Had some time to kill before going to Dollywood and few minutes after I came in a was greeted my multiple employees asking if i wanted a sample. The bartender was awesome with recommendations and i tried so many flavors! After I spent a long time talking to Heidi, who was a pleasure to be around and was full of friendly conversation and great business ideas. I’m so glad I ended up here.

My husband and I went to the Tennessee Shine Company yesterday. There are lots of other distilleries near by and we are so glad we found this one! We had such a fun time! When we walked in the door, we were greeted by some of the friendliest staff ever. And then we met Worm! Best and funniest, I guess you call him a "bartender". He introduced us to the world of moonshine! He is awesome! And our visit to this distillery will not be the last!

Paul was very knowledgeable. He is a true artist when it comes to shine. Paul knows how to make each batch the same. I look forward to sampling his wares.

This wine and moonshine tasting tour was great!! Although we had rainy weather, they made sure that we had a wonderful home. Bubba was a spectacular host. Her was personable and made you laugh till you had cramps. This was a wonderful tour.

Kaylee was so awesome. He knew all things shine. We paid for the tasting and got comedy as well with it. He explained all the flavors and the deals when he was finished. I would highly recommend paying him a visit. You won't be disappointed at all

This place is much better than all those yuppie places that are so crowded that you can’t even get up to the tasting bar because of all the children sitting on the ground. Bubba is awesome at mixing the shines & teaching some great pairings. We always go to TSC. It’s just all around better.

The Tennessee shine Co makes way better spirits the others in the "smokies"! I have visited both and they're all amazing. The one in Wears Valley is my favorite, but the one in Pigeon Forge is equally amazing. The wine they make is amazing too. Highly recommend this place over others. My personal opinion of course.

We stopped in to try a tasting and it was a much better experience than Ol Smoky moonshine where they pick what you get to try. Scott was an excellent server! He even shared some of his famous mixes that got us to buy a few more jars. You get to choose 6 samples from a list but I definitely recommend trying the banana split and anything else they suggest.
My husband and I like this moonshine much better than Ol Smoky. The atmosphere is lighter and a lot more fun. It was definitely a much better experience than we've previously had at other places. Plus the tasting is free 😉 I didn't catch the other gentleman's name, but he was great at helping us get our items and making sure we got the right ones to mix and make unique flavor concoctions

Frankie in the wine section and Scott in the moonshine section were excellent. Made the tasting a great and fun experience.
Paul did a great job explaining how to make moonshine, starting from the mash bill to the end product.

This is my favorite distillery in the Pigeon Forge area. There is an interesting variety of moonshines that you can sample, and the staff is very friendly. I had samples with Allison and Melissa pouring, and they very friendly and helpful! Don't visit this area without stopping by Tennessee Shine! Best moonshine for me was Jalapeno Cornbread moonshine--took a bottle home as my souvenir of my visit! Yum!

My boyfriend and I visited here on Valentine's Day as part of a trip he planned for us. He had been here before and told me how amazing the Moonshine was so I was anxious to try it for the first time. Bubba did our tasting and he was so kind, so much fun and so knowledgeable about the Moonshine. Of course they both were laughing at me and the faces I made when I was tasting it for the first time. Yesterday we visited the Tennessee Shine company and we got to see Bubba. He was entertaining and made it a truly fun experience. We had lots of laughs and plan on going again.

You have to go to Tennessee Shine Co. to get their moonshine because they are blowing up, BUT we didn’t like their moonshine as much as Junction 35. To be fair, we may have been moonshined out by the time we got there! Haha We were on a moonshine tour.
The wines are all sweet EXCEPT for two wines but this is the VERY first time I ever liked a wine slushy! The peach wine slushy is excellent & I only drink red wine. Stop and check it out for the experience.

Love to visit Tennessee Shine! My family and I come to Pigeon Forge often and always stop in. A little saddened that the old bartender wasn't there. He really put on a show and made it enjoyable. This time the atmosphere felt very corporate operated instead of just down home people loving what they do. I will say that Paul was very down home and genuine. He talked us through the process of how the shine is made and how the still processes the mash from beginning to end. Even offered to take our picture for us. Tastings would better be described as pairings. The only moonshine tasting business in Pigeon Forge that actually pairs the different drinks together to open your tastebuds to the possibilities of their products. Individually, each shine is smooth and easy to drink. As amazing as the tasting experience is it remains secondary to their bartenders. My husband and I visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg frequently from Michigan. We ALWAYS stop by Tennessee Shine to stock up because it’s our favorite. The 6 minis deal is a great way to get more flavors (because they are all good) instead of buying a jar. We also love the jar deal which is great if we know it will be awhile before we visit. We don’t just love their booze, but they also have great deals and service. Tennessee Shine’s has a great selection of clothes, shotglasses, hats, etc. Scott at the Teaster location, was our bartender on our trips in December ‘23 and February ‘24 and he was great! We also love Pickle and were so sad when he left the Teaster location. We’ve tried visiting the Sevierville location specifically because of him, but haven’t caught him yet.

Absolutely freaking Amazing! Bubba needs to be a comedian. 100% recommend stopping by to see him and taste some shine while you're at it!

We have been coming to Tennessee Shine every year for the past 3 years on the anniversary of my dad passing and have never had a bad time. Quite frankly it is our favorite thing to do in Pigeon Forge and not just for the moonshine, I mean dont get me wrong the moonshine is THE best tasting you will come across hands down, BUT it's the people. They are some of the most fun and genuinely heart warming people you'll ever come across. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Bubba and his manager Brittany and once again we were not let down. Bubba was one of the funniest with his entertaining jokes and whimsical concoctions but beyond that he had a way of making you feel like you were home. Brittany was so sweet and helpful and both went above and beyond to be sure we had the best day ever on this what should have been one of our hardest. I can't thank you both enough. We seem to live in a world these days where simple hospitality doesn't exist and no one wants to work ,yet alone with a smile and I can't tell how refreshing it was to get both. If you want the best moonshine check out Tennessee Shine....if you want to have the best day spend some of it with Bubba and Brittany. You won't be disappointed! Until we are "home" again next year 😘

Paul was very knowledgeable on the production process and explained the process very well. BJ was a hoot at the tasting area. Overall there were flavors that were very creative and were good. Jalapeño cornbread and bread and butter pickles were great! A very down home feel that you're made to feel like part of the family.

First time visiting Tennessee Shine Co. we have been to most of the other distilleries in the area. The people were absolutely amazing. The drinks were sampled along with some really delicious mixes of their drinks. Paul was working in the back on the still, where we got a great explanation of how the process worked, and how much he could produce in a day on his small still. Would definitely recommend a visit for anyone in the Pigeon Forge area.

Ok seriously, everyone needs to come here when they visit pigeon forge. The bourbon whiskey was so good that as a strict wine drinker I bought a bottle, in addition to their spiced rum and moonshine. The staff was also amazing and down to earth which made for such an awesome and enjoyable experience with family-we had a blast and lots of laughs. We are already planning to come back to pigeon forge next year and this place is in our top five places to revisit! Do yourselves a favor and go here and buy up all their bourbon whiskey!!! You won’t regret it!! I’m even writing this review with a glass of their incredible peach bourbon by my side.

My family and I visited TN Shine in Gatlinburg this previous weekend to do a moonshine tasting. I was hoping to do a tasting with a guy named Bubba that had been referenced to me by my clientele and family, I also saw so many good reviews on him and was looking forward to that prestigious experience. Needless to say we were taken into a separate room to do our tasting with a lady named Red. Every other word out of this girl's mouth was so foul I couldn't believe it. She was saying God D**n and F*ck every other word. My husband and I had our little kids with us and we were just beside ourselves. I own my own business and I'm just thinking what kind of establishment employs people of this caliber and lets their employees engage in such foul language especially in front of small children. My husband and I were so sickened by the way Red talked that it put a real bad taste in our mouths when it comes to TN Shine Co. The worst part is that their moonshine was pretty good. As a business owner myself, I really think the owner of this establishment needs to a little more cautious about who they employ in their store. Employees of a business represent the owners name and product. Sadly to say, my family and I will not be back to TN Shine due to the obscene language and embarrassment that myself, my husband, and our kids had to endure. Reds low class acts of such obtrusive and vulgar language really dampers the environment of what should be, people having a good time.

The staff was amazing, big sexy (Glenn) even recommend a mountain coaster to us (pigeon forge racing coaster) and we had an amazing time! My husband and I have been to the Gatlinburg location multiple times, but after seeing that there was Pigeon Forge location too, we decided to check it out and we’re glad we did! Bubba was awesome! We were there during a slow time, so it was just us at the tasting, but Bubba was still as entertaining as if he had a room full of people there instead of just us two. A cut above the rest! The wife and I do a fair bit of travelling, and always stop at the local breweries and distilleries we encounter along the way. We go in with the expectation that all are chasing our favorites that we have found. And most are! Tennessee shine, however, flipped the script on all of that. Easily the best moonshine experience we've had to date. All of the moonshine we tried on the tasting were fantastic! We left with several jars and a gift flask,( much more than we anticipated going in) and now are certain we will be going back at some point to buy the flavors that haven't made it to our local liqour store yet. Highly recommended!

My family and I go to Gatlinburg every other year, but this was our first year participating in a tasting at Tennessee Shine in Pigeon Forge. We did a wine tasting with Britt, who was sooo friendly, informative, and helpful! We also did a moonshine tasting with TJ and Gabriel. I had such a good time with TJ that I brought more family back, but this time Gabriel was on duty! We laughed and had such a good time...and of course walked out with boxes of moonshine and wine! haha

Went to Tennessee Shine Co for my 21st birthday 12/22! The staff was exceptional. Scott was our “moonshine mixologist”was very knowledgeable about all the moonshines gave us some of his secret recipes and let us try flavors of our choice. The environment in there is very welcoming and all of the staff were very friendly. We were also given a tour of the still in the back while they were making moonshine. Go check this place out it is awesome! 10 out of 10.

Favorite part was Bubba himself! All the whiskeys tasted really good as well! Very welcoming and fun spot. Was able to take pics and learn how loo shine was made as well

We went in for a tasting, and that’s when we knew we were in for a crazy good time, as we approached the bar there in all his bib overall glory was the man they call bubba! One word can describe bubba…. Insane! If you’re looking to be entertained while you sip on some of the best moonshine around then I highly recommend you go here and partake in all the insanity that is bubba! He’s Extremely funny, knowledgeable and helpful! A+++

Madison and Frankie were head on at explaining what each moonshine/wine would taste like. The store is well organized and clean. Go for the blood Mary with the pickle juice And ask Frankie about the peach wine.

We found an awesome moonshine distillery in the Tennessee Shine Company! Great Shine, helpful emplyees, and worth the stop. Love the blackberry and jalapeño cornbread shine. Oh, don't forget the wines! Brandon and Karen helped us - and a wonderful lady in the wines section. Knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly!!!

Fantastic experience! Bubba and his son were the ones who greeted us initially. They were super friendly and went above and beyond the whole time while we were there. Our great experience didn't stop with them, while we were doing the tasting the two ladies at the cash register went above and beyond by talking with our kids and getting them moonpies and just making sure the kids weren't bored and that they were having just as much fun as we were.

Bubba gave us the best experience while in Pigeon Forge. Constant jokes and cracking up, while putting together some of the best moonshine concoctions I’ve ever had. Would 100% recommend to anyone. He is genuine and loves what he does, but also makes sure you’re comfortable and gets you whatever you need. A MUST STOP IF IN PIGEON FORGE!

Bubba The Bartender, J-Money, and Heidi are the best. Bubba will teach you all kinds of hillbilly cocktails and they all taste so good!!! Don't forget to eat your fruit and veggies while you're there!!!

Saw Tennessee Shone through tour group- Paul was informative; we learned a ton about moonshine and stills. All the servers were extremely helpful! Not even a moonshine fan and loved the experience. Wine bar was cool too and great souvenirs!

Love Tennessee Shine. We go down a couple times a year and I always have to stop in so I can see Bubba, he is amazing. Little disappointed he's in Pigeon Forge and not Gatlinburg. Bubba please go back to Gatlinburg you make that place fun. Love ya Bubba

Did a tasting experience with Worm. He was very knowledgeable and fun. D talked us into purchasing two kinds of pickles instead of one but they are both worth it. Good atmosphere, friendly staff.

Brian was our bartender again! We love Brian and he always makes us laugh, has great recommendations for flavors and always makes the visit a great experience! He even remembered me and I'm sure that's hard sometimes depending on how many customers come in there every day.
