Be careful where to step. Butterflies all over the place. You get to walk around inside the habitat and interact with the butterflies. You can also feed them. They also have a challenging mirror maze and some rain forest animals to observe. Definitely fun for the kids and family.

Kinda small for the price. The good thing about it is it helps with conservation efforts. While the website list several activities they are all really small. The butterfly exhibit, which is what we are all there for anyway, is the largest area. Glad we did it but probably wouldn't do it again.

We definitely enjoyed our visit! My son enjoyed it enough to want to go back the best day! You are able to go back 2 more days if bracelet stays on! The mirror maze was hilarious for my family! The butterflies were pretty and it was cool they would land on you! I would recommend this place to someone! Only thing is I wish the rainforest adventure part had more animals. It’s just one small room of them.

My 2 year old grand daughter was terrified of the butterflies coming around her, but we loved the place!

They have done a spectacular job showcasing butterflies! First, we watched the video and learned a LOT about the monarch butterfly. Who knew they traveled the USA? Then we walked in the butterfly aviary. Wow! You can hold these sticks containing some kind of food that attracts the butterflies. They come right up and just hang out. They will hang onto the stick but also lay on your back, arm, etc. It was delightful! Your ticket allows you to visit for 3 days. I can see why! We also went through the mirror maze. It’s a must to go to, however, it was really hard to get out! We kept walking into a mirror. At first was surprising to see yourself and you will want to check your hair. Our visit was so much fun!! I highly recommend!

I could spend and entire day at this place just enjoying the beauty of the butterflies. It is a very nice place with lots of education and butterflies and other creatures.

The Butterfly Palace is not inexpensive, but we have been there each time we visit. This time we had two grandsons with us (6 & 3), and they both enjoyed it. We recommend it to our friends.

Pretty neat place with all the reptiles to look at. The butterfly part was nice with all of them flying around landing in the nectar plant they give you to feed them. Wear bright red shirts and they will land on you.

Butterflies were beautiful and interesting to have them land on flower you can hold as you walk thru the Butterfly Palace. Many different colors, sizes, etc. The Mirror Maze was also a lot of fun and reptiles.

Very enjoyable. Has 2 short movies, small area with fish tanks containing insects/reptiles, special area about trees, mirror maze, and of course the butterfly garden with dozens of live butterflies. They give you a test tube with gatorade and red nylon flower on it to attract butterflies.
It will take about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how long you watch butterflies. Tickets are good for 3 consecutive days, so nice to return if weather is bad.

Grandkids, 1 1/2 and 4, absolutely loved it. In the butterfly exhibit they supplied the kids with magnifying glasses, explorers hat and butterfly food, they had a blast exploring the butterflies and climbing the bridges. They have an area with mirrors that they loved also with some exhibits that were interesting.

Great place to take the kids- you get a tube filled with sugar water and a flower on top while you wander the butterfly sanctuary and butterflies will land on them while you visit . Children there were all excited at this.Worth the visit !

Did not live up to the expectation. Overpriced ticket to see butterflies. The exhibit isn’t that big which made it crowded. Not a lot for littles to do.

Visited on a wet rainy day therefore was pretty busy. We enjoyed all activities but overall it was a bit pricey for the amount of time/entertainment.

It was a beautiful day while we were there, and we had just come out of the Esther Show, and this was such a gorgeous calming thing to do afterward. The scenery was beautiful and I didn't know there was so much to learn about these beautiful creatures. Getting out in nature in April was lovely.

The tickets last for 3 days as long as you don't take the pretty waterproof bracelet off and they don't just have butterflies, there is much more to explore in the halls and it was well worth the trip out there. Their artistry with the butterflies in the cases are stunning to behold and everyone there is very informative should you have any questions. Overall, I'm very impressed by everything they offered.

Overall this was such a fun stop and I would definitely recommend it! When you buy they wristbands they last for three days, so it’s a good idea to go her towards the beginning of the trip so you have more time to go back. It kind of pricey so this makes it more worth your money. It’s very warm and humid so definitely keep that in mind when dressing for the trip! (It was in the 40°s when we visited so my husband was in a hoodie and the was miserable the whole time we were inside bc of this) Overall there were so many different butterflies and it was very beautiful inside! The workers were also very friendly. The only thing I noticed was that I saw several dead butterflies… I don’t think if this was from children but once I saw the first one I started seeing them in more places.

Absolutely loved this place. Even my 5 month old grandson was intrigued.
Very fun for the whole family. My 5 year old granddaughter loved it as well.

It was an interesting place. Kind of expensive just to see some butterfly’s and reptiles. The 15 minute movie they show was informative. I learned more about butterflies in our short visit than i did in school. It was OK place to visit but nothing spectacular.

Our daughter loved having the butterflies land on her. The 3D movie was very interesting and informative. The reptile exhibit was cool too.

There was a ramp, but walking steep ramps is difficult even if walking slowly. Can’t imagine this would be a good event for one in a wheelchair. The butterfly experience was everything I’d hoped for! The gift shop had plenty to offer, but was hoping to find a dish of sorts to use at home to offer food for butterflies back home.

That little tickle you feel is a beautiful butterfly that landed on you. Take a "Feeding Flower," stand quietly and watch as maybe as many as 3-5 land on your feeder. While you're at it, observe the delight on the faces of those who are with you. Child to grandpa were all enchanted by the variety of sizes, colors, and types. As you exit, continue to move cautiously as an attendant checks to be sure one isn't hitching a ride on your back. Enjoy as long as you wish.

This was a great way to kickoff vacation. The butterflies exhibit was nice. But there was also a great reptile exhibit, bungee maze, and mirror maze. A lot of activities for the price of admission. And then rent out electric wheelchairs, which was great.

We started in the reptile room for about 30 minutes because the kids enjoy watching them barely move. lol Next, the forest mirror room was a lot a fun for 3 generations. We went through it 4 times. So many butterflies in the butterfly room. It was memorable experience watching the kids excitedly awaiting for the butterflies to land on their flower or shirt. They also had the opportunity to let a butterfly loose to take it's first flight. AAA discount offered here. Ample parking. Wheelchair accessible most areas.

What a pleasant time at the Butterfly Palace. The butterfly aviary is amazing. So many large beautiful butterflies. We also went through the mirror maze (fun) and watched the butterfly migration movie (interesting). We also walked through the rainforest reptile room. All very good, fun, interesting. We recommend.

Great place to see. The beautiful butterfly’s are so awesome. Great place for children to learn! We will be coming back again!

I brought my 6 year old cousin here and she loved it! I'm a local and often recommend this place to others but realized I haven't been here since I was young, so I decided to bring my young cousin and she loved it! It was a great form of entertainment and education for her! The employees are all very nice, but I need to specifically give a shout out to Heather who was fantastic and educated us greatly on the butterflies! An overall great place to visit for kiddos.

The Palace has a large variety of free-flying butterflies that are not native to the United States. 4 times a day they release newly emerging butterflies with the help of children. They have a Mirror Maze, educational movies, the Banyan Tree Adventure and a gift shop.

If you like butterflies, you must go! Don’t skip the 3D movie — it’s amazing and worth the time. My only negative is that EVERYTHING in the gift shop was made in China.

What an awesome place. We’ve never seen so many butterflies in one place and the nectar tubes used to attract the butterflies to land on you was very innovative.

If you are into butterflies, this is a one-of-a-kind experience you cannot get anywhere else. My husband and I love anything butterflies so this was a must see for us. There are five exhibits for your admission price.
1) movie about the flight of butterflies: don’t miss this. It is very interesting insight on the lifecycle of a monarch
2) mirror maze: this had us all sorts of twisted and confused. If you get easily disorientated I would skip. We were all sorts of turned around and lost our sense of direction for a second
3) tree adventure ropes course: more for little kids than adults
4) nature center: nothing creepy like snakes or spiders which I really appreciated. Had neat lizard and frog species you usually don’t see at a zoo.
5) butterfly aviary
The highlight of the trip is the butterfly aviary. You are given a test tube of “flower” nectar to attract the butterflies. There are no time slots so you are free to stay as long as you like. We had butterflies landing on the nectar, hands, clothes, one landed on my face. It was a very neat experience. You are not allowed to touch them unless they land on you but it was such a neat experience. We even got to release a newly hatched butterfly. A few tips…. Butterflies like humid, warm weather. Dress accordingly. It does get warm quickly. Wear red. Butterflies are more attracted to red. It worked for us! They flocked to both my husband and I. Bring as little in with you as possible. It is a somewhat of a tight space and you will be so busy “chasing butterflies” you don’t want to lug around a bunch of stuff with you. Also, if you plan to go during covid times masks are required. No exceptions.

Really beautiful place, you canfeed the butterflies, they are gorgeous, very sweet staff, if you go before 10am it's not as busy. They open at 8am, lots of stuff in the gift shop.

We stayed about 90 minutes. Very neat butterfly experience. Cost is reasonable when compared to other similar adventures.

Amazed at the number of different ones on display. Great immersion experience. Loved having the feeding nectar and watching little kids let out new hatchlings. Do not miss the movie about the life stages of the Butterfly or the reptile exhibit. We had no kids with us and are older adults and loved it.

The highlight of my visit was the 3D movie about the journey of monarch butterflies. Very informative. I just thought admission was a little pricey for what was offered.

I absolutely love it here. The mirror maze was a bonus. It was so fun. The reptile section was pretty neat and tiny. I wish I watched the 3D video before entering the butterfly zone. The video was well made and very informative and entertaining. The butterfly zone was so beautiful. They really fly all around you, land on you, and just do their thing in there. There is corner where a man plays fairytale like music that was enchanting while you stare at all the butterflies flying. A bridge that you can cross to see from a different view as if you were in the rainforest on a hanging bridge. There's even 3 different types of birds. You just have to look. My favorite part was the little laboratory where they had various types of larvas displayed that I have never seen before. I got to see 4 of them hatch in the process. It was so beautiful. I got to meet a gentleman that was like the director and he answered all my questions and even told me amazing stories. It was so educational. I highly recommend and support this place.

What a cool spot! Our seven year old was in heaven. I wish we had bought the wristband at the beginning of our week here in Branson because it’s good for three days so we could have popped back in multiple times! We were impressed by how many butterflies there were and how frequently they’d land on you. The volunteers and workers were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

I took my mom here for her 73rd birthday since she loves butterflies. It brought me so much joy to see they joy the Butterfly palace brought to her. I highly recommend adding this to your list of attractions.

My grandchildren loved the Butterfly Palace. My grandson was so excited to see the Salamander up close. Natalie loved releasing the Butterflies.

We have been to many places where one gets to see butterflies. This was unique in that they gave you a vial with nectar to attract the butterflies to come up close.... It was fascinating to see them eat and observe them close up. A truly great butterfly experience.

I love butterflies so this was a must for me.
The admission price was high—but for 3 days. I believe there should be a 1 day price that isn’t as expensive.
But the butterfly room had beautiful butterflies and they would sometimes land on you which was neat. Do wish there had been even more variety of them though.
The video was very informative and interesting about the Monarch butterfly.
Gift shop items were high priced too but nice selection of things—all butterfly of course.
You are searched for “Hitch-hiker-butterflies before you leave through 3 sets of doors.
It is a federal crime to “steal” butteries from there.
There is a hatchery there also.

This was our second visit to the Butterfly Palace and this time the butterflies were more active or more plentiful. Great photo ops, lovely colors and types. Fun for the entire family.

If you love nature and butterflies this place will bring out your inner child. The butterflies are attracted to bright colors and love to land every where . So, be careful where you step!

This is a good activity for families with small children. The fact that it is in a nice, air conditioned building makes it great for summer months! It’s a bit pricey, but your ticket allows you to return for 3 days.

Spent hours wit butterflies all around. Great staff and fun place! We enjoyed this better than another butterfly place we have been!

We've visited the butterfly museum in Key West and in NOLA - and both are better than the Butterfly Palace. It was neat and they do allow you to "feed" the butterflies - but overall not worth the price of admission. Perhaps we've been spoiled by the other butterfly exhibits. They do show you part of the Monarch Butterfly movie and there is a small mirror maze that our kiddo enjoyed. But we still found it expensive.

We went on a cold and rainy day and the myriad of multiple beautiful colored butterflies lifted our mood immediately!! there is a delightful short 3-D video on Monarchs that is well worth the 15 minutes.
Even the gift shop part is great. I got some amazing pictures too!!!

We went through the rain forest first and marveled at some of the amphibians in the various enclosures. Then we went in the butterfly palace and picked up some nectar to feed the butterflies. We enjoyed relaxing, feeding, and watching the many colors of the butterflies. Twice while we were there, varous people in the palace released the newly hatched butterflies--they started with the children present who wanted to release a butterfly and then offered the experience to the adults present. Highly recommended!

I took a motor coach group here in the spring. They were from the Bahamas! Loved it! It had been a bit since I'd been there. The ladies were all fascinated being in the atrium WITH all the beautiful live butterflies. Did I mention they loved the unique gift shop as well?

We went the Branson for years before ever trying the Butterfly Palace. It just seemed kind boring with everything else to do in Branson. However, it is now a highlight when we go to Branson. It is a good deal, under $30 for three days. Since nothing much happens in Branson in the morning, we visit then. It is relaxing, peaceful, interesting and fun. Didn't forget to check out the mirror maze during your visit. For many years I thought we'd be disappointed, but we weren't and you won't be either. They are going through an expansion project right now to be even bigger and better.

We enjoyed our time here. Be prepared to be warm when you're in with the butterflies so dress accordingly. We spent about a half day there which allowed us to see most everything. There's also a small theater, a mirror maze and gift shop for everything butterfly.

Imagine being in a large aviary with over 1000 beautiful butterflies of all colors and sizes. Now imagine them landing on the feeder you carry in your hand. This is the Butterfly Palace, A tip...wear bright colors and they will come to you.

We enjoyed the butterfly palace. Lots of butterflies and the price included nector feeders which you could hold and the butterflies would land on. If you love nature/butterflies and are a patient person, this is a fun activity. They also have a mirror maze and a reptile room (small) to go through. It was a rainy day when we went and we had time on our hands so spent a fair amount of time in the butterfly room.

When the weather is cold, this is a great place to visit (because it is warm, cozy indoors)! Depending on the time of year you visit, there is a variety of different butterflies to enjoy!

Nice place, loved all of the beautiful butterflies and the beautiful flowers. I think The ticket price was too high though. Wonderful view from the hill overlooking Branson

Amazing 3-D movie about Monarch butterfly. Enjoyed the butterfly garden. Children would really enjoy the mirror maze

I had such a beautiful experience in the butterfly room! There was even a person playing relaxing music live. The tubes of nectar are awesome and do a great job drawing the butterflies to you. Some of them landed on my clothing and hands! If I lived nearby, I’d be a regular!

The movie on the Monarchs was extremely interesting and educational. "Interacting" with the butterflies was very enjoyable. The ticket/wrist band was good for 3 days. We went 2ce and would have gone a third day if we had time - which we didn't. You can carry a "nectar flower" with you as you walk around the butterfly habitat and if you're lucky butterflies will land on the "flower" to sip the nectar. I had up to 7 butterflies on my "flower" at one time. Even better is if a butterfly lands on you. Both my husband and I had a Blue Morpho land on us and stay awhile. Two of the attendants told us if that happened it meant someone was watching over you. They said the Blue Morpho prefers fruit to the "nectar flower" and flying around so it is rare they land on someone. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we both highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the afternoon at the Butterfly Palace. We gained a lot of knowledge about butterflies. We enjoyed the butterfly release and feeding them. As they fluttered through the air, it was very peaceful and enjoyable. We picked out cute souvenirs! Our wristbands were for more than one visit.

We visited the Butterfly Palace simply because it had received such wonderful reviews. I have to say that we REALLY enjoyed it. There's no question that a lot of it is aimed towards kids, but just as a couple, we found it very interesting. It all starts with a film that will tell you more about butterfly migration than you can imagine - after watching it, we're going to be planting butterfly-friendly plants in our garden. The butterfly habitat is beautiful, and it's amazing to be walking around a rainforest atmosphere with butterflies fluttering all around you. As far as the other things to do, well, as adults we had as much fun exploring the mirror maze as any kids there. This is a wonderful place to spend a few hours in Branson.

Of the many things we did in Branson this is one of the more enjoyable attractions that everyone from young children, teenagers, and even grandma said they enjoyed.
We stayed for quite a long time as feeding the butterflies is very unique and almost magical. While inside you are surrounded by hundreds butterflies in a relaxing environment where you walk a path at your own pace. Sit in one of the many provided benches inside the butterfly room and relax while you watch a butterfly silently fly down and feed on your "hand held" feeding "flower" - many opportunities for photographs and interaction with a beautiful creature rarely encountered so close.
Kids also enjoyed the mirror maze (more than once)...
Very unique and well worth the money...

We enjoyed walking through the butterfly room plus the other animals in the building. We can tell the animals and butterflies are well taken care of. We also think the gift shop had a lot of nice merchandise.

Beautiful! Lots of activities for all ages! The butterfly room is neat! We also liked the frogs, lizards, and other reptiles! There were also birds in the butterfly room!

The Butterfly Palace was a great experience that I would recommend to anybody in the area. Their reptile exhibit had animals that were very appealing and exciting to young children, and the nearby mirror maze provided a fun adventure to navigate. Up at the top of the palace, we found a bungee activity that simulated vines in the rainforest, this interested the younger kids and gave them somewhere to roam and explore. As for the most exciting part of this excursion, the butterfly display, I cannot express what a great experience I had. We had a blast, getting to go inside and interacting with the butterflies, and even getting to feed them with nectar! Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would love to come and visit again.

Kids were all having a good time. Make sure you wear red to attract the butterflies when you are inside.

This was on our list and we happened to need something else to entertain a toddler. The butterfly dome did entertain him for about half an hour. The ability to move around with a treat for the butterflies, and getting them to land on you was so enjoyable and relaxing. This is truly a great spot for photos and photo ops with the butterflies. We all enjoyed it. The 3d movie provides a great story of the migration, but is mostly for adults and older kids, our toddler and another young child did not want to sit down through it. Overall a great experience and love the ability to return if you leave your armband on, but it can all be done in one day really.

I could spend hours there not only experiencing the butterflies but watching the people and children

Very interesting and educational. The guides an others working there were informative and friendly. The price seemed a bit high though.

I feel like we could have used more guidance when we purchased tickets. We went upstairs to see a short film about monarchs and to see the butterfly area. We went back downstairs to see some reptiles, amphibians and insects. I felt like we sort of wondered around and that they want the gift shop to be the central attraction.

My parents and kids all enjoyed the experience. My daughter (who is almost 2) had great fun catching butterflies on her nectar bottle. The forest play area was a good place for my 3 year old to run out some energy and settle down before going to see the butterflies so it worked out well.

Was a calming and unique experience. Wish there were more butterflies but those that were there were pretty and came to you easily when holding the syrup flower.

So neat to have the butterflies land on you, or can get a nectar tube to attract them. Beautiful colors. Large gift shop

Wife and I have said for several years we wanted to go here. We finally made it and glad that we did! They have a very nice gift shop with very reasonable prices. The ticket prices are reasonable as well, with the arm band they give you being valid for 3 days. Be sure to watch their movie as it is very educational and informative. Inside where the butterfly's are, is simply amazing. Wear bright colors so the butterfly's will be attracted to you. The butterfly's will land on you hand, head, shoulder and everywhere. It's so enjoyable and relaxing to have a little quiet time. Great place to take the kids! But adults enjoy it just as much as the kids!

Everyone was thrilled with the feeding tubes. It made the experience fun because you got up close to the butterfly. Our grandkids loved the mirror maze. We went back twice per our kids requests.

Wonderful experience. Had loads of fun and at a relaxed pace. The butterflies flocked all around us giving some great photo opportunities. Must see in Branson. Better than all other butterfly parks I have been to so far

The difference between this butterfly palace & other butterfly places we have been to is that you are given a vial of Gatorade solution that has a flower on top to hold. That attracts the butterflies so you can see them up close and personal. This made it more interesting to stay in with the butterflies longer.
There is also a mirror maze that is not easy to get through, a short, interesting film on the migration and life story of the monarch butterfly, walking through mangrove roots, and a reptile room. There is a lot to do and worth the trip.

These are definitely beautiful creatures but not what I really enjoy doing with my valuable vacation time. I can see how if this is your thing that you would find this pleasurable but I was bored after the first 20 minutes. Use your own judgment! You might find this worthwhile.

We loved it! Staff was super friendly and the butterflies were so fun to feed. I suggest wearing reds and greens!

This was a fun little family experience with and 18 month old. The mirror maze was definitely a family favorite. And our 18 month really enjoying seeing the butterflies land nearby or on the nectar tubes that we got to hold.

Enjoyed the 20 min video of the migration of the Monarch butterfly. Then entered the butterfly aviary and enjoyed interacting with many different types of butterflies for several hours in a butterfly paradise. Beautiful! If so inclined, they have a mirror maze and Banyan tree room to enjoy. My only complaint is that after going to level 3 (where the aviary was) using my walker up steep ramps, I noticed they have electric scooters I could have used had the guy at the desk advised me of them. I don't know if they were free or for a fee, but I was exhausted after going up 3 levels using my walker. Luckily my rollator has a seat I could rest on.

This place was incredible! I have been to Branson over 20 times or so and I’ve never been here. My wife and I was amazed by this place! It was clean and affordable and the whole experience was great!

My 2year old really enjoyed it. She loved the butterfly's and got a kick out of holding the feeders. My biggest issue was the price point. It was almost $50 for my wife and I and there seemed to be very little. We took our time with everything offered and it still only took as about an hour to do everything.
I would recommend this place for families with young kids but be ready to spend some money.

The building is beautiful, The staff is very nice. There is a 3 d movie about monarch butterflies it takes 15 minutes. Do not miss this. It is very good. The mirror maze is really fun, and the butterfly room is awesome.

It was a nice place Butterflies everywhere and they would land on you. I did not give it a 5 star because theres always room for improvement.

Couple of seniors had a great time feeding the butterflies, checking out the reptiles and even the mirror maze. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Even my service dog liked the butterflies.

wasn't expecting much and was very much surprised how much I enjoyed it. Could have spent more time if we didn't have tickets to a show. Kids will love it.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend. I am so glad we did!! We used a coupon from the Branson coupon leaflet!! We had a great time going through the science center, the mirror maze, bungee jungle, watching the movie, and seeing all the beautiful butterflies!! One of the best attractions we've been to so far. My daughter and I were very pleased with the exhibit!

I loved the butterfly palace. 🦋 you have to carry nectar around in order for you to see the butterflies close up. One thing is that you have to get lucky enough to get a blue butterfly land on your nectar. The ones that land on your nectar are nice 👍 but not that colorful butterflies. your ristband last for 3 days so you can come for that long.

The workers are very nice, informative, and knowledgeable about their job. Learning about butterflies and other creatures is very interesting. The aviary is hot so don’t wear a jacket. I appreciate they have a stool in the bathroom for kids to reach. Very nice gift shop too

My daughter and I enjoyed this as the highlight of our quick Branson trip. The movie was very entertaining and we learned a few facts. We enjoyed the gift shop, the mirror maze and especially the butterfly interaction. The employees were kind and there was always someone close by when you needed direction. We spent two hours with the actual butterflies. There were a lot of people there but we never felt crowded and it was fun seeing how everyone interacted from little ones all the way to senior citizens. Everyone was polite and tried to be very gentle with the butterflies and we all watched our feet as sometimes the butterflies would land on the floor for a bit. Some people are butterfly whisperers and you’d see multiple butterflies resting on them. Bright colorful clothing seems to help attract the butterflies to you. We found it a delightful place and can’t wait to go back.

Need to mask up so passed up the chance to visit. Beautiful building from the outside, but not worth wearing a mask for an hour so you can't breathe....

Small butterfly habitat. A lot of construction still. Was interesting though to see the new butterflies being released into the habitat. Was too expensive for what you saw.

My 14 yr old daughter and I visited March of 2024 for Spring Break. She was here many years ago. We throughly enjoyed the reptile exhibited. Watching the turtle play with a pink floating ball was especially interesting. We made our way to the butterflies where I immediately had two butterflies land on my red shirt (apparently, butterflies like red). We then picked up a tube of sweet goodness for the butterflies and carried it around as we walked through the jungle like environment with 100s butterflies flying around. Several landed on our tube to get a taste of the sweet liquid in the tube. So beautiful and relaxing. There are a few birds in there as well. Lastly, we watched the 3D movie about the Monarch’s migration. Fascinating. Our entire experience was about an hour. We highly recommend this for families. BTW, the butterfly palace is wheelchair and stroller accessible as well.

If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip for a bit, then this the place! Slow down and truly enjoy the butterflies! We enjoyed both movies, the mirror maze, the Banyon Tree challenge, and explored the butterfly area twice. We also helped release butterflies for their very first flight which was a cool experience! And don’t forget about the rainforest reptiles. The chameleon is so cool!
BONUS...your admission allows you to visit for three days! Sadly we were headed back home or we would have come back. A must when we return for sure!

It was a nice little place, but I emphasize the word little! The building from the outside is huge, but the actual butterfly area is pretty small. The butterflies mostly stay gathered up on the top by the lights, I guess for the heat. It is nice in there though. The gift shop is by far the biggest part of the building and very overpriced for the quality of their merchandise. If you have any mobility problems, it is very challenging to get up the stairs and then walking a ramp that actually wraps all of the way around the huge gift shop/reception area to get to the butterfly area.

Beautiful butterflies but not worth the high price. No air moving and very stuffy in there and very hot. Wouldn’t go back

This is mildly interesting for adults. It is very kid oriented. There are lots of souvenirs for sale.

We really enjoyed our time here. Being in the area with the butterflies was amazing! They flew around us and sometimes they would even land on us. This place isn’t as big as I was thinking, but it is definitely worth a visit!

Excellent environment created to sustain these beautiful creatures and make a connection with visitors. Both fun and educational. Don’t miss the videos. Great for all ages!

You buy one ticket and can come back! Over three days. The staff are amazing, the butterfly’s beautiful. We will be back

The Butterfly Palace looks huge from the outside, but, once inside, the butterfly room itself is very small. We spent over $70.00 for 2 adults and 1 child (with the coupon), and feel we did not get our money’s worth at all. The armbands are good for 3 days, but the display and butterfly variety are so small, there’s really no reason to tour more than once. Most of the building where visitors can go is the gift shop. We would not recommend this to a family going to Branson on a vacation. This attraction is a tourist trap. If you want to see a wonderful butterfly display, the Butterfly House in Chesterfield is so much better.

This is a neat experience for all ages. We took our grandkids, ages 3 and 1, and had a lot of fun. The 1-year-old wasn't interested in the butterflies, but the 3-year-old (and us) loved interacting with the butterflies and identifying them. The room with reptiles and amphibians was very small but it offered something different for us to look at. Finally, the kids loved the Banyan Tree and the Mirror Maze. It wasn't crowded in the mid-afternoon, so we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in each space. We spent about 2 hours here and the experience was well-worth the entrance fee.

Traveled to Branson for a weekend getaway for my birthday. The one thing I wanted to do the most was to check out the Butterfly Palace, because I spent many years when my daughter was younger collecting Monarch caterpillars and watching the process of them transforming into butterflies. This place did not disappoint! Even my husband who was a bit skeptical thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s a must do when in the area for a visit!

This was absolutely amazing we loved it. My wife really enjoyed it as it was her birthday present from me

I’ve visited other butterfly houses but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. Many gorgeous butterflies that will land on you or your flower-topped tube of nectar if you are quiet and still. New butterflies are released 4 times a day. Children are engaged in this activity. It is a very relaxing place where you can spend 30 minutes or as much time as you can. We went late afternoon on a dreary day and were put in a much better frame of mind by both the butterflies and the children learning to appreciate them. We enjoyed it so much we kept the wrist band on and returned the next afternoon for free. Admission is good for 3 consecutive days. The second day was sunny and the butterflies were even more active for that reason, we were told. We watched the 3D movies on Monarch butterflies and plan to plant some milkweed next spring. The second movie on the conservation efforts inspired a trip to their wonderful gift store to contribute to the effort. We plan to make a visit whenever we are in Branson. (Red is a good color to wear if you want to attract butterflies)

This is a great place to go anytime of the year. We went in the winter. There are lots of fun activities here for all ages. You will be able to go again within 3 days of your first visit as long as your keep your bracelet. The kids love the mirror maze! Staff is friendly.

This place is absolutely amazing! There are so many butterflies from around the world. I could have literally stayed there for hours as an adult. Kids on the other hand seem to be easily distracted and could maybe last an hour in the entire place. Upstairs is the butterfly area downstairs they have some lizards, tortoises, and frogs. All over seems to be a great facility and the staff seem really friendly. The bands/entry fee seems pricey but for those that enjoyed the place you can go back the next 2 days with them.

A unique and interesting place to visit to see many butterflies. I have always loved butterflies so couldn't miss this attraction.

Best part is the butterfly room. It's warm so make sure you layer. Plan to spend many peaceful moments attracting the butterflies with a free nectar that is provided.

Wonderful, we loved it, but more importantly, so did the two 15 year old teenagers (m/f). We went back three times.

The two videos gives a great over view on how amazing butterflies are and how the palace works. Don’t miss out on them if you can.
Also try and call ahead to see when they will be releasing a butterfly group so you can be there on time.
The gift shop is also pretty lit. I’ve never seen so many butterfly themed items.

My husband selected this attraction, and our friends and I were dubious. But we really enjoyed the experience and particularly enjoyed seeing kids interact with the butterflies. It is quite warm in the "rain forest" so shed any jackets (etc) before going in. Holding a red nectar flower definitely increases the likelihood that you will attract butterflies, but a brightly colored shirt also seems to do the trick. The gift shop is small but nicely stocked with unique items. Try the Mirror Maze before you leave....it is harder than you think.

Walk inside at your own pace; butterflies will land on you esp. if you have bright colors on. A place of serenity

Definitely not worth the price. Biggest waste of money I ever experienced. Even the kids were very disappointed. Branson has yet another "attraction" that is really bad.

We visited the Butterfly Palace Oct. 2022 about 3:30. From what I heard the best time are 10 to 2 and then some of the butterflies are tired and not flying. Nice experience overall but I was hoping for more butterflies and more colorful ones. The two short films are well worth watching However, I wish there was more educational material on the life cycle of butterflies, examples of different kinds of caterpillars, chrysalises, etc. The rain forest area was very little and not worth much at all. I expected more from this attraction.

The ticket is a little steep but totally worth the money! A fun experience that also helps the environment. I loved seeing all the butterflies and they add new butterflies everyday which you can be a part of if you choose.

The staff was very rude and have no bedside manners.
The advertisement was nothing like the actual exhibit.
The one star is for their bathroom. They were very clean.
It was very overpriced

We thoroughly enjoyed this place, even with a school field trip in process. Very well done with the split floors. The frogs and lizards were interesting. The mirror maze was fun (went through twice)
The 3D movie was interesting, but the butterfly exhibit! My or my! Excellent!

Was a fun place to go. The main attraction is the Butterflies it’s self. You walk freely among them. Staff controls door in and out to make sure there are no stowaways (Butterflies). They also have feeder tubes you can walk with for hopefully a closer view. Definitely need to watch your footing so u don’t step on any! Great experience!!!

This is a hidden gem to be sure. Yes, the admission price feels a little high, but given the nature of the building, the butterflies, and the cost of keeping it operating, I don't think it's unreasonable. You should be able to find a coupon on the website to save a few dollars on an admissions ticket.
Be sure to watch the 3D movie before seeing the butterflies up close in person. It details a lot of background involving butterflies and their migration.
After watching and experiencing the butterflies, it's easy to see that there has to be a designer or God behind all of this. I don't have enough faith to believe that these wonderful little creatures happened by chance, any more than any of us happened by chance.
The butterflies are so pretty. One even landed on my son's baseball cap and stayed there for a time. Great place for photos.
Friendly staff and nice environment. Although it is a rain forest setting, it really wasn't uncomfortably warm to me.
Worth the time and money if you choose to go.

Visited this today and truly enjoyed my experience. Starts out with real nice The Great Migration 3D video. You then walk into the Butterfly area. Which was really cool, I recommend getting a nectar stick, the butterflies come right to you. The area was a little smaller than I anticipated, but plenty of great photo opportunities.

Family friendly activities at the butterfly palace. Fun and insightful butterfly room and informative movie. We enjoyed our time there.

We have been coming to Branson for many years but this was the first time we visited here, it definitely won't be our last. It was amazing and we learned much about butterflies. Great place for young and old. Be sure and check it out.

Great place to learn about butterflies and see different species of butterflies. Also seeing them up close.

My kids absolutely love this place! They always want to go and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

We spent a relaxing afternoon at the Butterfly Palace first browsing the gift shop then entering the tropical area containing the butterflies. You will receive a wrist band that is good for 3 days entrance. They provide you with free sugar water containers that will attract the butterflies. The room has various bowls sitting amongst the plants filled with sugary treats where the butterflies will come to sit. We learned (by observation) that if you put the end of your sugar water container up to a sitting butterfly, it will hop on and stay there. You can sit and observe for as long as you like. We took lots of pictures. Very friendly staff. Kids and adults will enjoy this attraction.

They have a nice variety of butterflies. Very nice environment for the creatures. We had several landing on us and they provide some handheld "flowers" with fluid inside they land on to drink and eat. You can go back 3 times with one reasonable fee to get in. Nice gift shop.

We really enjoyed going to The Butterfly Palace. First of all, it is such an interesting building up on the hill. We must have driven by it 10 times going other places. We waited until our last day to visit The Butterfly Palace, which was a mistake, because your admission is good for a couple of days. It would have been nice to return to see all the butterflies. Your admission allows you to do five events. Reptiles, mirror maze, Banyan tree obstacle course, part of an IMAX movie about butterfly migration, and interacting with the butterflies. The gift store has all things butterfly! We of course thought the highlight was interacting with the butterflies. My daughter just happened to be wearing a red shirt and the butterflies are attracted to red. They give you a flower tube filled with Gatorade that the butterflies really like, so the butterflies are very interactive. The whole experience was a lot of fun and my teenage 14 year old loved it!

A great way to spend a few hours. We went on a day that was not very busy. There were only two other people in the butterfly garden with us. Plenty of butterflies landed on our plastic flowers so we got to see a lot of different butterflies up close and personal. They also had a lady playing harp music which was great. It was very peaceful. The 3-D movie was interesting and the mirror maze was fun.

This place was amazing. The different butterflies are so beautiful and they have other creatures too! Lizards, frogs, skunks, etc.

I love butterflies and this gave me the opportunity to see many of them up close. There is an area where you can walk amongst them and they will come and sit on your shoulder, arm, ect.... Great place for kids.

While staying near Branson, Mo we decided to check out the Butterfly Palace. I am so glad that we did! The first pleasant surprise was that the admission tickets we purchased were good for three days if you left your wristband on. (They survived very well in the shower!) The reptile exhibit is small but varied and very interesting. The mirror maze was great fun, even for two kids in their 60’s!! But the most amazing part is indeed the butterfly aviary. It was such a calming, serene place. The butterflies are so beautiful. And all tropical so they are varieties we do not see in our backyard! It is beautifully landscaped and so pleasant. I totally lost track of the time and couldn’t believe we had been there for a couple of hours! We most certainly took advantage of a second day there with our wristbands. Our first visit was on a cooler, overcast day. While the butterflies were active on that day our second visit was a real treat. It was a warmer, sunny day and the butterflies were out in full force!! I will certainly return, hopefully with my grandchildren!!

Very relaxing with taking it at ones own pace. Interaction with butterflies was so much fun. Also have an area to walk through with mirrors that can be misleading but much fun to do.

Great interaction with some beautiful creatures. My older crowd loved the up close and one on one feeling of the butterflies. The food tubes to help them land near you are an amazing touch. Great cold/rainy day activity

so much family fun! We chose this destination because in the winter you want to stay warm! The Butterfly Palace was WARM AND FUN! The kids love the interactive palace and the opportunity to hold a skink ~ there is an additional charge for basically everything you do besides butterfly room so be prepared. Its not astronomical but it adds up

Unique experience for the family. Our kids are 4 and 2. Everyone enjoyed seeing the reptile exhibit and interacting with the butterflies. The short film about the monarch butterflies was interesting and informative.

We had an excellent experience here. Came on a Tuesday early afternoon before spring break. Very few visitors. We enjoyed the rain forest creature room and had fun wandering the mirror maze. The 3D movie was excellent. Our favorite was interacting with the butterflies. They were attracted to our feeders and very friendly. Quite a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.
There was a nice gift shop.
Large parking area. If you are inclined to do so you can visit three days in a row here.

Absolutely loved it. It was very informative about butterflies. You can walk around and feed the butterflies, it is just so relaxing. We did this on our last day in Branson, but we were told that once you buy the general admission wristband, you are able to come back the next day for free.

This place was so incredibly interesting to go to! I don’t even particularly love butterflies per se, but we all LOVED this experience!! At first I was sort of put off by the “security” steps they follow to ensure the safety and health of the butterflies, but now I totally understand and agree with them. They offer you a test tube of butterfly nectar with an artificial flower on top so you can feed the butterflies. The butterflies are EVERYWHERE! They have no problem landing on you, feeding on your tube, or putting on a beautiful show for you. Not liking bugs of any sort, it took me a while to get used to allowing something to land on me without wanting to swat it off, but it was still worth it. My kids were covered in butterflies and were in heaven! They have a beautiful bridge, waterfall and offer perfect photo opportunities all over the place. They also have a reptile place downstairs that is really cool too. We were fortunate enough to get to see the employee feed cockroaches to the elderly lizard. She was very fun to talk to as well. I am spaced on her name, but she has very short hair and a small ponytail, so if you get to see her, you’ll enjoy her also! But THANK YOU to her! This is one experience in Branson I will HIGHLY recommend to all, even if you don’t have small kids with you. Enjoy!

So many butterflies! You get nectar sticks and tons of butterflies land on it. Very pretty set up and tons of different butterflies. Also a mirror maze and bunjee rope course for kids.

We enjoyed the Butterfly Palace it has a few different rooms to explore and one large room with the butterflies in it. The butterflies were beautiful and my daughters enjoyed the experience... however I think it was a bit pricey for the experience. It only took us about an hour to enjoy the entire place

Came to Branson for my birthday and my wife loves butterflies so she want to go. I enjoyed it but was not nothing special. She enjoyed getting to see the butterflies.

Make sure to put this on your places to visit in Branson. It is really amazing .... catch the 3d Monarch Butterfly movie; it's really well done. You get up close and personnel to the butterflies and other exhibits. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Expect to spend at least 1 hour here .... you loose track of time watching the butterflies.

Entire family had fun for a couple of hours, ages 4-11. The nectar sticks was a great difference from other similar experiences.

Had a great experience. Went early so not long wait times. Daughter really enjoyed butterflies and all the items to look at in the gift shop. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful and fun place to visit. Our daughter (7) absolutely loved being in the butterfly area. She would have spent hours in there. We got to see so many varieties and colors. It is a bit pricey but the ticket was good for 2 days so that was nice. Would definitely recommend.

This was so much fun. We had multiple butterflies landing all over us while we were there. There were a few nice places to sit and just watch the butterflies and a lady was playing the most beautiful music on her dulcimer. Wished I had remembered to check the gift shop for a CD.
We also went through the mirror maze - super fun - and the banyan tree course. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely go back here on my next trip to Branson.

This place is so cool! I went with my mom and we didn’t do any of the activities they offer other than the butterfly room and the 3D movie about monarch migration. The butterfly room is just awesome! There must be thousands of butterflies in there! They offer little flowers with tubes of butterfly food for guests to carry around and it doesn’t take long till you have a butterfly or two hitching a ride. The room is set up like a mini rainforest complete with a small waterfall and an overlook bridge. It’s warm and humid in the room, so be prepared for that. You can also look through windows into a butterfly nursery where you can see boxes and boxes of cocoons, and you probably will see at least one butterfly working its way out of a cocoon. One of the employees brought outa container with a butterfly in it and let my mom release it. That was cool! You get 3 days of admission with your ticket (have to keep the plastic bracelet on). Get there early. They open at 8:00. The butterflies really start getting active around 9:00. By 10-10:30, the line to get into the butterfly room starts getting long, and according to a staff member I spoke to, it stays that way the rest of the day. Wear red. The butterflies really seem to love it. Really awesome experience!

I did the butterfly room but loved every minute of it. butterflies were numerous. They limited the number of people in the room so it was not overly crowded. They had flowers we could use to attract the butterflies and many feeding stations where we could watch the butterflies. I did also go in their critter room and saw some fun geckos, turtles and other critters. An enjoyable visit!

The butterflies were amazing! My kids loved the rainforest animals and the mirror maze! But walking through the butterflies and feeding them was the highlight of the experience.

This is the 3rd butterfly sanctuary that I have been to. This place had a wide variety of beautiful butterflies from all over the world. Each person gets a vial of nectar when they go in that the butterflies will land on. The butterfly room is huge and has lots of tropical plants. There are even a few small blue birds that live there as well. Besides the butterfly attraction, there is a mirror maze (super cool), a small reptile/amphibian room, a 3D educational butterfly movie which we enjoyed, a banyan tree room that kids would enjoy, and a nice gift shop. I think my only suggestion would be to limit the amount of people in the butterfly room because it was very crowded in some areas. I definitely recommend visiting this place if you love butterflies!

This was a fun and interesting experience. Saw several different butterflies and reptiles. Would recommend visiting.

This place was magical and just sitting there watching the butterflies was a treat. We had an opportunity to release butterflies and have them fly around and land on us.

We were looking for something inside to do and came across this place. My son was sure but by the time we left he was asking to visit again when we come back to Branson. The Butterflies are the best part but we enjoy the whole walk through experience and we enjoyed the maze to! Great family fun for all

My adult children, my granddaughter, and I went to the Butterfly Palace for the first time this week. We really enjoyed the mirror maze and the butterfly interaction. I appreciated the fact that they gave you nectar to attract the butterflies and didn't try to charge you for it. My granddaughter enjoyed it and it was a unique experience. The butterflies were beautiful and it was interesting. I felt the entry price for the experience was excessive. Three adults and a child were $78. We were there for less than one hour. The pass is for 3 days and we could have returned for the next two days, however, it was our last day in town. The majority of their very large building is their gift shop and offices. It is one of those attractions that you only visit once in your lifetime.

It was about $20 for adults---you can come back--it's a 3 day ticket---we enjoyed so much we almost did come back------------We had plenty of butterflies land on us and the little flower tubes that you can hold to attract them---we did find a certain spot with lots of sunlight that really did seam to attract them more----we had heard they have a lot more activity on a sunny day--and it sure seemed to be the case for us

Visiting with the Butterflies was great. The staff were very rude and dismissive. Only one bathroom was available and it was downstairs. That’s a long way when you are handicapped. There is construction going on in the middle of the facility far and removed from the upstairs restroom which apparently is reserved for staff only. My suggestion is to wait until after construction is done before you attempt to visit.

Although the butterfly experience was very well done, I was disappointed that we had pretty much done all activities in an hour. My kids liked the mirror maze but not so much the banyan tree area. There are several small animal exhibits to see, just wish there were more overall.

Great for adults and children. We took our time and just enjoyed the experiance. Take your time and walk through all of the exhibits and things to do.

Wonderful place to spend a rainy morning. There are a few things to do here..on the lower level is a room filled with the aquariums of frogs, lizards & the like. There is a mirror maze ( quite fun, actually) & a replicated Banyan Forrest for the kids to make their way through. Then it’s up to the Butterflies! You go through double doors (to make sure none escape) to reach the inner sanctum. Once inside you are greeted by the flutter of butterflies everywhere. You can pickup a nectar flower feeder (free) to carry to attract the butterflies to you. They will come..trust me on this! There was a woman softly playing a dulcimer inside this area, also. My only complaint, if I have to have one, is that they were working/building seemingly right in the center of the exhibit and we weren’t able to access that part. But it didn’t take away from the experience all together.

Very cool! 4th time visiting. You get a small vial to feed to the butterflies while they fly around you! My 7 and 10 year old boys love this place. Go early because it gets busy. They also have a small reptile area, movie, banyan tree room and mirror maze included with your ticket.

Fun spot, especially for younger kids. There is a small reptile room, mirror maze, bungee maze, 2 short films, and the butterfly room. Lots of butterflies! Admission is good for 3 days, so you can go back. Good stop if the weather is bad.

Just returned from our second short visit to the Butterfly Palace. Watched a 3-D movie today on the life of a Monarch butterfly. Both visits have been short due to our schedule here in Branson, but with a 15-month pass for only $30 each we can return a dozen times or more while in Branson. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. There are number of things to do that take from 15 minutes to more than an hour. The time spent here is both educational and restful.

It was peaceful and really beautiful, hanging out with the butterflies! There were also a few small blue birds in the trees. My kids were happy and amazingly calm, just waiting for butterflies to land on them… and my boys are not usually quiet. Ever. I will definitely be going back next time we’re in Branson!

Took kids and grandkids on Easter! It was great! Lots of butterflies! Felt safe. Enjoyed it all! . Would recommend.

Go early in your trip so you can go back for free. The wristbands work for 3 days. We had a great time. They had a small collection of reptiles and amphibians to gawk at, a very good mirror maze that we went through about 4 times, a just “okay” 3d movie about monarch migration (guys, plant some milkweed in your yards! They don’t require irrigation, they are pretty, and they save the monarchs! If you find eggs on them, you can bring them inside and watch them grow into caterpillars in a butterfly cage for a few weeks, just keep harvesting milkweed from your garden as they eat a TON. So cool.)
Anyway, the butterflies are attracted to red so wear red and you will be visited by a buttload of cute lil’ guys. We spent an hour there.

Fantastic! You are provided a stick with a flower to carry around, the butterflies land on your hand. It’s magical! Must stop for Butterfly torism.

This is one of my favorite places in Branson. You can experience the wonderfulness of Butterflies. If your lucky enough you might even get to release one. The personal are very friendly and helpful. If you get their early, when they open, you might be able to miss a lot of children, who don't be quite and screams with a butterfly lands on them or comes near. They will land on you, if you are quite and sit or stand still.

We have been to these several times before and just love to see all the different butterflies all around. They had little vials with a red flower on the top that you could carry around and they would land on it to drink. At one point, I had 3 on mine! Fun to see them close up. This place also has a mirror maze that was fun.

Tatym checked us in, she was so helpful answering our questions and she was so kind! We will definitely be going again!!!

This is a unique place to visit while in Branson. The price is reasonable compared to others in town. A short movie describes the life and migration pattern of some North American butterflies. There is also a small area with many repulses and lizards for viewing. The butterfly aviary is really nice with a tropical feel and thousands of butterflies. It seemed that everyone there was enjoying themselves. You'll probably need less than two hours for this attraction but there's no time limit and if you'd like you can revisit up to two days for the one admission price.

Fidget was so amazing and funny. Butterflies were beautiful and easy to see. The flower of nectar provided was plentiful and appreciated it was not an additional expense. Family of 5 took about 2 hours there.

We came SO close to skipping this activity & I'm so glad we didn't! We even parked in the parking lot & kept looking for other things to do while parked, but eventually the kids convinced us to go in. We loved looking at the live critters downstairs, the bungee jungle, the mirror maze, the movies &, of course, the butterflies! The movies were very educational. We were worried that because it was cool outside & October, the butterflies wouldn't be out or be active, but they were EVERYWHERE! So pretty! & the really do fly to you & land on you. Would definitely recommend!

This was a great experience. It's amazing to see these tiny creatures flutter about and even land on you sometimes! Hard not to be impressed and utterly amazed with God's creation as displayed at the Butterfly Palace!

Terrible service at the counter. Charged me $24 for each adult. I said something about seeing $2 off and the clerk just stuck with the $24. He could have simply said yes, there’s a coupon on our website. Immediately after the transaction I pulled it up and showed him the coupon and he didn’t offer to redo my transaction. I came because I heard good reviews and my experience was tainted from the very start.

I was interested in taking photos. Went with friends and one was enamored. It was so much fun watching her. We enjoyed the trip.

Very expensive for a visit with butterflies. Go to the college of the Ozarks for a real bang for your buck.

Wonderful, amazing, relaxing. Such beautiful butterflies that will certainly put on a show for you. The maze was challenging but I found my way through! Trying to walk through a trees roots was another option. Pay for one days admission and you may return for the next 2 consecutive days~ that was nice!
Staff are all positive and upbeat~ that was a joy!

Butterflies have a special meaning for our family, so this was an awesome attraction to see. The butterfly area was quite large with butterflies everywhere. They will land on your head, arms, and shirts. If you wear lighter colors they are more apt to land on you. There was a lady playing the harp while we were there, it was soothing and made the experience more enjoyable. We spent about an hour with the butterflies then saw a 3D movie about the migration and life of the butterflies. This was very interesting and entertaining. Then of course we visited the gift shop. There were many items to choose from. Jewelry, flags, games, puzzles, apparel, and nick knacks were just a few categories of items available. There was a great mirror maze and a bungee maze also. We had a great time. The view from the parking lot is beautiful also.

We loved the butterfly palace! I'm a big fan of butterflies, but I think my husband enjoyed it also. It's fun to feed them and have them land on your hand. So many different varities.

way too expensive for what you get says to be prepared to spend two hours there i think we were there 30 minutes was not as many butterflies in there as i thought there would be

We really enjoyed this place. Nice gift shop, 3D movie on butterfly’s, mirror maze, and of course the butterflies. We got to hold a butterfly feeder and they would come right to your hand. Always a fun thing to do. Every butterfly conservatory is different and worth the visit.

We had a lovely experience here, surrounded by butterflies as we were serenaded with live dulcimer music. We even got to release newly-emerged butterflies. And our kids loved the mirror maze. The little ones enjoyed the bungee forest too. All the staff was friendly and cheerful.
I do wish there was an option to purchase a single day pass instead of the three day pass. I also wish they had re-snapable wristbands, since I’d rather remove them and put them back on, rather than wear them for three days “just in case” we get to swing back by.

The Butterfly Palace had a lot to offer, Like an educational 3-D movie. The butterfly area was amazing 👏 one of a kind place, There was so much butterflies everywhere! You can leave whenever you want! They also have a mirror maze which Is amazing! Highly recommend for family members and people who like butterflies like me!

We took the tour because my wife loves butterflies! Was educational and nice! Lots of butterflies to see and the staff was friendly and helpful!

Great Place for our 3 and 5 yr old grandkids! Had fun and staff was nice and friendly! Also loved the mirror maze! Hop to be back with other grandkids !

We will a little disappointed, and not worth the cost. It seems we have been to other butterfly houses with more butterflies. Many people seemed to have rated it a 5. So maybe it is just a matter of taste. It was not bad, just not all that impressed for the price.

Have seen this place for years and never really paid it any attention. Today we took our 5 year old and had a blast! There are several things to do and see. I think we spent around 2.5 hours there and probably could have spent another 30 minutes.
Go early to be there when they open. Also time your visit to be there to help release the newly hatched butterflies. Our kid loved that.
Getting a three day ticket for one low price is a steal. We will be back.

We took our two 8 year old grandchildren here yesterday and everyone had a ball. There’s so much more than butterflies! The mirror maze was such a hit we did it three different times. There is a 15 minute 3D movie that puts you in the field with butterflies that you can almost reach out and touch. Lots of unique butterfly themed gifts. We had a lot of fun in the reptile room trying to find each reptile in their home habitat. The butterfly area was large enough and you could spend unlimited time feeding butterflies. The kids enjoyed the magnifying glasses and looking through them for more detail. I was surprised there were lots of mixed reviews. This is something the whole family can enjoy. The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable. You can easily spend a couple of hours there. Even better, if you are a resident of Stone or Taney county, they offer an outstanding locals discount that also is for an additional guest when you show your driver’s license from one of these counties. I’m already looking forward to going back!!!!!

First things first they are in the middle of construction. The park/sittlng areas that show in the photos doesn't exist right now, so there are no cute areas to take photos outside.
The butterfly area is wonderful ages 3 to 100 would enjoy this. It's hot in the butterfly room. Wearing red or bright colors attracts the butterflies. This time of year, the butterflies are less active after 3 pm. So go early.
They have a reptile area it's small but interesting. A movie that is interesting about the butterflies. A mirror maze that is fun. So many cute items in the shop.
The admission fee was a little high considering what's offered.
We spent about 2 hrs here.
The interior was clean and pleasant lots of walking on an incline. A scooter is helpful for handicapped.
It gets crowded fast go early.
Best for families.

I absolutely love this place. I have visited a dozen attractions in the area and this is at the top. I went only because someone else in the group wanted to go but im so happy they insisted. It's not a thrilling energetic attraction (quite the opposite) but thats part of the joy. The movie they show is informative and the butterfly area is very pretty and interesting to walk through and sight see. Don't rush through, take in what you are seeing and hearing and let your kids enjoy the magic side of nature. You walk around with the butterfly feeders they have and the butterflys just land on you and fly around you, its fun and pretty. If slow, casual, nature asthetics aren't what you are wanting for your trip then you might feel let down but i went with my husband, mother in law, and 6 year old son and we all enjoyed it.

My husband and I really enjoyed The Butterfly Palace! Fun, unique and educational. The 3d Monarch film was so interesting.. and seeing all of the beautiful butterflies was amazing. Also, everyone who works there is very nice and informative.

Really nice place. Very friendly staff. Just as expected, tons of butterflies. All indoors and air conditioned. It’s also worth seeing their movies. Great experience.

It was very warm in with the butterflies. But the kids loved feeding the butterflies. We hadn't planned to go to the Butterfly palace when we started the day, so only one kid was in bright colors. The butterflies definitely preferred her. So where bright or red clothes!

Great place to visit for both adults and children. Educational areas include a film on the monarch butterflies.

Not sure how this place has such high reviews. So lame!!! Complete waste of money and extremely boring for kids and adults!!

This exceeded my expectation. My young girls love it and I didn't expect we'd stay for as long as we did. My girls say it was one of their favorite activities here.

This was our first time to a butterfly sanctuary. What a wonderful experience. They have over 2,000 butterflies, and you will have them land on you. They also have a 3D movie, a mirror maze, and a room of fish tanks with lizards and turtles. We spent 2 hours, which was more than enough time for my wife and kids who love butterflies.

In addition to hosting a wide variety of butterflies, this facility has a mirror maze, a small theater where you learn about the monarch butterflies' life cycle, a mangrove obstacle course and a small room with a variety of animals like poison dart frogs and a chameleon.
The BEST part of this attraction is that your wristband is good for THREE DAYS!! It was wonderful to come and go over the course of three days.
The area where the buttrrflies are is small in comparison to other exhibits I have visited, but there are lots of butterflies to look at.
When you enter, you are given a fake flower with a vial of orange Gatorade inside. Butterflies are drawn to this and will come to you if you are patient enough.
One of the most beautiful things about this place was the orchids.
Have your camera ready!! You'll get some great pictures here.

We had not visited here since our kids were small. Now grown we went together with our son and his GF, who really wanted to go. Having truly enjoyed all aspects of our visit, we are sure glad she did. I suggest you see at least 1 or 2 of the movies too. The butterfly sanctuary amounted to a sea of tranquility in a world of general chaos and turmoil. Although not cheap, you can return multiple days for the admission price to get your tranquility fix back on. Kids appeared to enjoy it too. I'd recommend this when in Branson.

We enjoyed seeing the butterflies and had a few land on the hand-held feeders. We also enjoyed walking through the mirror maze.

Wonderful experience. They provided flowers on a tube of butterfly nectar to walk around with. The butterflies landed on it and on our shoulders and hats. The best time to go is in the morning and early afternoon. That is when they are most active. We purchased the 3 day pass

Visited this place assuming it would just be ok, but it was truly enjoyable for the whole family. There is a ton of butterflies, reptiles and tropical flowers to view. The mirror maze downstairs was fun as well. Unless your just someone that doesn't enjoy nature, you'll most likely love this place. They make sure to reach out to kids, but it's thoroughly enjoyable for adults as well. We were really surprised how much fun we had here.

It was a fun little place to visit, however, I found it to be quite overpriced for the content. My kids had fun, but, $65 for a family of four was a little high.

Wonderful! Always a really great time with our young children! They can’t stop talking about the butterflies!

This place was so cool. It was HOT outside, so we chose mostly indoor activities for our afternoon. Butterfly Palace does not only have butterflies! There are also a few reptiles and amphibians, as well as a mirror maze. My kids (teens) and I enjoyed it all. I was very nervous about one of us stepping on a butterfly accidentally in the aviary, but we were so careful with our feet! We also enjoyed seeing the little birds that live in the butterfly enclosure. Butterflies landed on all of us before we left and there are some absolutely stunning species. If you plan to go, wear bright colors! My son wore a Hawaiian shirt and was definitely a butterfly favorite. The staff were all very friendly as well. We would absolutely go back!

Being in a large enclosed garden with butterflies is always a zen type experience and the Butterfly Palace does not disappoint in this area. They also have a couple of short films and a small area with assorted tropical reptiles that has good educational information as well.

We really enjoyed this place. The movie was interesting. The kids liked both mazes. Wear red! My husband did and the butterflies loved him. Be patient and the butterflies will come to you!

Visited this place a few times now with my husband and 2 young kids. We were there around noon on a Saturday. The line to see the butterflies was pretty quick and well organized. Definitely going again when back in the area!

They have daily release of butterflies, movies to watch how they came into staring the Butterfly Palace and then just walking around and to enjoy watching the amazing butterflies and feeding them. One day admission gets you three days and if time permitted we would have gone back again.

Wonderful experience. So many butterflies! 3D movie was informative.
Loved the ability to hangout with butterflies for an hour!
Admission good for 3 days if you leave your wristband on so go early in your vacation so you can go back.
We plan to!

First I want to start with a warning to people who have problems with heat and humidity - you will probably not enjoy this. The air is warm and cloying but it is the comfortable range for butterflies who live there so be prepared for that.
There are so many different kinds of butterflies and you can feed them if you want. Certain times they have a release and let the kids do that. It is fun to watch them on their first take off.
They also have an area of other creatures that is cooler and you can watch the people working with different species. Sometimes they will come out and show you different reptiles.
I really enjoyed this. I do have problems with heat and humidity but after a while it did not bother me as much. I am still glad I went through it.

The Butterfly Palace, is so unique. If you sit still the butterflies will come to you. They feed and light on you. A wonder way to enter act with nature.

We just visited this attraction and had a great time. The pre-movie taught us some fascinating information about the life of the monarch butterfly and their journey north and south across three countries. The whole exhibit is very well done and it was great to see everyone holding their nectar up to catch butterflies. Thank God for these people and their mission. Very nice gift shop too!!!

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this place. We have visited Branson several times but this trip was the first we came here. The mirror maze was super fun. Letting a 4 year old guide us, probably was the funniest thing ever. The butterflies were so pretty. We took advantage of the 3 day wrist band and went back each day.

The Palace is conveniently located near the western end of the major road through the center of town (Route 76).
The center has a lot of its area dedicated to merchandise sales (some of which are related to wildlife, not necessarily butterflies).
The tour was very interesting and informative...the video at the very beginning does a good job of making you root for butterflies.
The staff do a good job of keeping a reasonable number of guests in the butterfly (aviary?) at one time.
The portable flowers with their special blend of nectar attracted a lot of butterflies to us.
There are also small reptile/amphibian displays as well as a mirror maze.
The ticket seems a little pricey until you realize that it is valid for 3 consecutive days (ONLY if you keep your wrist bracelet on for the entire 3 days).
All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Had no idea how this would turn out, and we were pleasantly surprised! I could have stayed in the butterfly area all day! The butterfly’s were beautiful!!!

I loved this! I loved it because the butterflies landed on the nectar sticks you are given. I carried one butterfly through most of the exhibit. Several hitched rides on my family. There was live music being played and it was very relaxing. It was not too crowded. We also watched a 3D movie about monarch butterflies. We left inspired to plant some milkweed to help them along in their journey.

We enjoyed the Butterfly Palace. It was beautiful inside and seeing all the butterflies made the experience unbelievable! My kids enjoyed seeing butterflies up close! It was great for the whole family!

This was a wonderful place and we visited twice thanks to the wristband policy (your wristband lets you return for free within a 3 day period of buying your admission). The staff was all very kind and we loved hearing about the butterflies from the people in the "aviary?". It was not as hot and stuffy as I expected and we were very comfortable in our regular summer clothes. There were plenty of butterflies to see and the plastic "flowers" are a great way to get up close and personal with the butterflies. Prepare your kids to move slowly and watch where they step. My kids (8 and 11) enjoyed the mirror maze over and over, the gift shop was amazing, the reptile room was fun, and the "banzai tree top" room kept them entertained. Very kid friendly!
Masks are required and they are limiting entry but they are doing their best with the Covid restrictions. I would definitely go back!

This a great way to spend a couple of hours! Make sure you watch the 3D movie before you go and see the butterflies. I love that the butterflies will come and land on you. I found a bench and just sat and let them fly on and off me.

MAGICAL experience! Worth. Every. Penny. 🦋 ❤️ We spent a TON of time in the butterfly house. Ages 6-63 in our party, was a family Branson favorite.

My wife and I (70 & 67 years old) took her mom, 87, and two granddaughters, aged 9 & 13. EVERYONE loved the experience so much that we are going back for the next two days, since admission is good for 3 days.
Butterflies were landing on everyone the whole time we were there. GREAT family activity for ALL ages. Our 87 year old was hesitant about going, but thanked us over and over for giving her a little “push” to go. One of my favorite photos was of Grandma holding one of the nectar “flowers” with butterflies on it.
Don’t miss this fabulous experience for ANY age.

The kids really enjoyed the different activities. There was a reptile room, a mirror maze (my favorite!), jungle room with bungees to navigate, two “movies” (15 minute informational shows), and of course the butterfly palace. Somehow, we managed to miss the live butterfly releases (weren’t paying attention to the time), but we had a great time anyways. And there was a LIVE hammered dulcimer player, which mesmerized the kids. The wristbands are good for three days, so do this first and then return to get your moneys worth.

Start with the short movie/story about the butterflies then move into the Butterfly house. Best part is they let you release the butterflies. Family fun for all.

The reptiles and butterflies were awesome! They had a couple other fun things, like the mirror maze, which was fun. However, if you get a glass souvenir (wine glass, coffee mug, etc.), make sure it's packaged correctly. I picked up a glass that broke in transport because it didn't have the protective plastic in the box. Other than that, great experience!

I loved this. Seeing many different butterfly up close and personal. The movie on the monarch butterfly inspired us to plant more flowers.

We love the butterfly palace. This was our second visit and my three year old boy LOVED it. He remembered it from 2 years ago somehow and asked to go back. He loves all the activities and the butterflies landing on him. My only complaint was they did not have a schedule available when I asked for one, so we did not get to see any of the critter talks. The lady I asked didn’t have any idea what time it would be. Overall, still a great visit. This place is a surprise for most adults I know that has been at how enjoyable it is!

Very well done. 3 generational visit and we all enjoyed. Nice building and plenty to entertain. IMAX movie (cut down version)- Flight of Butterfly excellent.
Time with butterflies amazing. Other areas kept kids engaged. Friendly staff.

It was good experience, but I had visited butterfly garden where they had more varieties and species of butterflies. But overall was a good experience

If you want to actually interact with butterflies, this is the place to go. Not the typical place where you just observe the butterflies behind a screen. You are actually in the environment with them! It is warm and humid inside so just be prepared for that. Tons of butterflies are flying all over the place and if you're lucky, you'll get 2 or 3 landing on you at once. This place also offers a cool 3D movie that explains the migration and generations of the butterflies. There is also a cool mirror maze, reptile exhibit, and gift shop in the main building when you first go in too. If you are in Branson multiple days, your main admission ticket is actually good for 3 days! So come back and visit as much as you want during those 3 days. Definitely a really fun and interactive place to visit.

I could have spent the entire day here. Butterflies everywhere. Plenty of seating. Beautiful music played by a wonderful lady. They even give you tubes of nectar for the butterflies to land on and eat. Cool movie about monarch butterflies. Our family enjoyed it. Great picture opportunity.

This is definitely one of the better Butterfly gardens we have visited. We came in December so it was nice to see the staff added poinsettias to give the garden a Christmas feel. The little plastic flowers of nectar to carry around was a nice touch.
We walked through the mirror maze, science room etc but our favorite was definitely the butterfly gardens. We visit Branson several times a year and this is definitely an attraction we would visit again.

We ordered our tickets online to save a couple dollars off the price. We got there just before 10 am on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded yet. Our family of 5 went with kids ages 7,9,11. Everyone loved the place. My favorite was inside with the butterflies flying everywhere. We knew to wear red to attract the butterflies, but my husband and son had light blue on and the blue butterflies seemed to be attracted to that color. As many times as we've been to branson we had never been here. I highly recommend it.

This is an interesting place to visit for the young and old. Our granddaughter was having such a wonderful time, we stayed most of the day to allow her to play and learn about butterflies.
We will certainly visit again when in Branson.

Beautiful place and so peaceful. Always worth a stop for any age group. And if you can donate a couple bucks for dollars. It’s a great investment for future visitors. And Mother Nature 👍

My wife and daughter visited Branson for a week ahead of my arrival (had to work, ugh). They visited the Butterfly Palace twice and loved it both times!

My first trip...our daughter and her family had been before. My wife and I come to Branson annually, I wish we had been before. It was a very cool place...the workers inside the butterfly zone were all very nice. We had 11 in our party...2-85...enjoyed by everyone!

This was a neat place that I have wanted to visit over the years of coming to Branson. There is a cool mirror maze on the 1st floor and the butterfly garden is upstairs where there is also a theater and another area called the banyan tree. It can feel a little crowded at times as the walkways are narrow and there is a tiny bridge you can walk across. Overall the experience was unique as was the decor and I'm satisfied I finally checked it out.

The best experience in Branson. Very friendly staff!!!@ A must see experience:) I learned a lot about butterfly's.

This place is way over priced for what you get to do! There is 1 butterfly room where you can spend as much time as you want to feed and interact with butterflies. This was fun and my daughter enjoyed it however for $80 for 2 adults and a 3 year old, it’s way overpriced! No souvenir was given for this price! My daughter found a pillow at the front and without looking at the price I let her get it. When the total was told my card had already been ran, it was $43 for a small pillow!!!!!! We did enjoy ourselves but WAY WAY over priced!

My wife and I visited the Butterfly Palace in Branson and really enjoyed it. We went through the reptile area (I'm not sure what it has to do with butterflies, but we viewed it anyway). We also went through the banyan activity and the mirror maze. I really enjoyed the mirror maze and would probably still be there trying to find my way out if my wife hadn't discovered how to make it to the exit.
But the main attraction is the butterflies who flit around their designated area. I held a little vial and several butterflies landed upon it to drink some nectar. There was also a talented musician who played the dulcimer while we watched the butterflies. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Finally, we stopped at the gift shop and purchased some gifts for our grandchildren as well as a couple of souvenirs for ourselves to remember what a good time we had at the Butterfly Palace.

We have done this twice. Each time I loved it just as much. The first time we went was 3 years ago and this time I was so excited to bring our 2 year old. He loved it. It’s so clean, the staff are so knowledgeable. We love it!

This was fun, however the price for what you got was not really worth it. It cost $75 for three adults, with the Branson deal and senior citizens discount. It took about five minutes to get through the maze, and about 20 minutes to see the butterflies. We then went to the gift shop and the prices were astronomical, even for a tourist trap. Even though the wrist bands were for three days, we wouldn't go back.

The butterfly encounter was amazing. So many different species, all colorful and amazing. Wear bright colored shirts. I had several fly around and land on my yellow shirt. A little wait but worth the adventure. Keeping the wrist band and you could come back for another visit.

My almos three-year old grandson loved when the butterflies landed on him or the nectarine provided for that purpose! What a great learning experience!

My kids loved it we definitely be visiting again when we come back down. Mirror maze was fun also lol

It's a nice place to visit with kids but overpriced tickets and souvenirs. Fun to look for the butterflies but there really aren't that many.

Beautiful and lots of fun for our granddaughters. The butterflies landed on the feeding tubes and on us several times.

Leisurely time getting to see butterflies and moths. This relaxing time in the aviary let's you hold a simulated flower with a special nectar that butterflies will land on. During our visit a large moth landed on my son's baseball cap and stayed there for about an hour. It was a wonderful experience to not only experience the butterflies land on my flower, but the excitement of young children as they had butterflies that they could see up close. Wonderful experience and your admission includes several days, Going back today.

Wonderful visit for the whole family! Huge indoor butterfly sanctuary where you closely interact and see many different butterfly species. It is an open area where you sit or walk around holding a flower amongst the free flying butterflies. They also have some other lizards and turtles for viewing in another section. Super unique and awesome experience. Place is well run and clean and staff is friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I liked our visit and seeing the Butterflies was interesting. The workers there were far more interested in making people wear their masks than serving and I don't think the price of admission was worth it.

We watched a film about Butterflies, did the mirror maze, and gift shop, but the best part was walking among the Butterflies, feeding them, and having them land on you.

Our four kids ages 1-8 all enjoyed this place! The mirror maze was a hit and very well done. The butterfly room was such a neat experience. We watched the 3D movie which was fun and informative. We spent about 2 hours but couldn’t stayed longer if lunch wasn’t calling.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. We had our children with us, ranging from 10 - 25 years old. At one point, my little girl had something like 8 butterflies crawling around on her! She was wearing a very bright colored outfit and bow....so they loved her! They also got to release some butterflies which was super neat! Then we had a blast in the mirror maze! I can definitely recommend the Butterfly Palace to others vacationing in the area.

I love the nectar flowers they give you to attract so many varieties. I did notice that the iridescent blue butterflies love blond hair and somewhat iridescent clothing. Pay close attention inside the butterfly pavilion to the varieties that are eating fruit and the varieties that are eating from the small nectar bowls with orange sponges. The nectar eaters are what will be attracted to the Little flower they give you. The others seem to be attracted perhaps to perspiration and perhaps just curious. The facility has this large sterile room full of chrysalis and they can converse from behind the glass and give all kinds of great information. We happened to be there during a shipment receipt that had about 300 Chrysalis of many varieties and actually got to see two emerge once they had been freed from the box. The entire experience is very calming and there is absolutely no rush of any kind. I also very much enjoyed the birds inside and the rainforest animals on the first floor. This is definitely a good kid experience too as they learn to stand kind of still waiting for some to come and eat.

My friends and I loved the Butterfly Palace. So informative and beautiful! This was a surprise for my friends and they were thrilled! Can't wait to go back next year!

A few Interactive displays were out of order, a glass window broken... need to fix those things. plan to go when it is sunny so the butterflies are active. Mirror maze was fun.

We went on a rainy day, and the butterflies are less active, we were told ahead of time. But we had a time crunch to visit. We saw many lovely colorful big and small butterflies. Worth the trip.

You get a 3 day ticket. My sons loved it so much we went back another day. A little expensive, so that's why only the "4" rating. Not totally sure it's worth the price. But my sons did enjoy it.

If you are feeling all charged up from all the shows, miniature golf, and car museums head directly to the beautiful mesh dome filled with tropical plants, super sound system that makes it really make you feel you are in the rainforest….help yourself to the hand held nectar holders and if you’re still you will be covered with many kinds of butterflies….relax and be present and still here…the live dulcimer player just added to the vibe. Butterflies up close and personal.

The brochure shows butterflies landing on people’s noses. They did not land on my nose! But they landed on my nectar stick and it was so much fun. There’s a film you can watch about butterflies that is quite interesting. There’s a small reptile house and a mirror maze too. Very nice staff and an enjoyable experience.

Very nice exhibits. The 3-d movie is amazing. Beautiful butterflies and the gift shop is well done with great nature type gifts. Beautiful orchids and butterflies.

Great way to spend a few hours with the kids! You can use your entry for three days as well. The kids loved the interaction with the butterflies as well as the 3D movie.

My husband and I loved this place! It was so amazing. Definitely a stress and anxiety reliever. Everything seems to fade away!

We have been to other butterfly gardens before, but this one was a better experience. They provide an artificial "flower" for you to carry, so the butterflies will land on it for the nectar. This allows you to see them up close and not just flying around.
The kids enjoyed the mirror maze, but the rain forest adventure is a few tanks of spiders, frogs and snakes. Interesting, but not what I was expecting.
There is also a 3D butterfly movie that was interesting to see as well.

We had been rained out of many of the outdoor activities we wanted to do so decided to visit the Butterfly Palace and did all the activities, the maze was interesting, movie informative and butterfies were very enjoyable had a little vile they would land on so you could hang on to it and see them very close. There are also benches so we sat for awhile just enjoying them. Would recommend to kids and adults (big kids).

This is a pretty neat place to visit, but I think it is a little over-priced for no more than what it is. The butterfly area is rather small for the price and the biggest part of the building is the way over-priced gift shop. It was an ok visit, but we will not be returning.

We visit the Butterfly Palace every year when we are in MO. The video of the Monarch migration was excellent. The butterfly area is always relaxing and beautiful. The dulcimer music greatly enhances the relaxing experience. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable
.

This is an incredible facility. The Mirror Maze was fun, there is live music inside the aviary, and the butterflies truly do land on your nectar flower. The movies (there is a 2D & a 3D) are very interesting. We’ve been to Branson many times and have overlooked this spot…thinking it more touristy for kids. It does have lots of cool stuff for kids AND my husband and I enjoyed it immensely on our own. The staff was super friendly. There are several animals, but no animal smell. The entire facility is very clean…and NO snakes, which my husband appreciated!

It is amazing to walk among all the butterflies and have them land on you. Great experience for kids. They have a reptile section too, but thankfully that is enclosed. You do get a close look though.

This is really an activity set up more for kids. I feel it was not worth the money I spent to get in.

We stopped here recently as part of a driving trip from our home in eastern PA to New Mexico; it’s the only thing we (2 seniors with no children along) chose to do in Branson this trip. This site was easy to find and had plentiful free parking. Inside was a small nature center and a theater where we viewed two short but interesting videos (one was 3D). The butterfly room was very pretty, filled with tropical plants; it is not a large space, though, and doesn’t take long to peruse. We did not see a lot of colorful butterflies but enjoyed the pretty orchids instead. A musician was playing Christmas carols on a hammered dulcimer during our visit—lovely! There were a couple of other attractions (mazes or such) that would appeal to kids and a nice gift store (“everything butterflies”). In all, we spent about 90 minutes here and enjoyed it. The admission was $53.93 with tax for 2 seniors—quite high for what is there, we felt. I really can’t recommend that families on a budget visit here.

This was my favorite place in Branson! The building was beautiful and there was lots of parking. Once we entered, the store had an array of clothing, garden sculptures, etc - very unique items. Then we went upstairs to watch the movie about the monarchs migration, and then went to the most amazing part - the butterfly "sanctuary" - a mini-rain forest with beautiful plants and flowers - with tons of different butterflies flying around! I wanted to stay there for hours! After that, we visited the reptile room - cool chameleons and others, before going through a mirror maze!

My g/f and I took my mom and dad there for the first time they loved it, also did the Forest mirror maze there, it's a must see place while in Branson

In all our visits to Branson we had never visited the Butterfly Palace so we decided to go this time. It was enjoyable but we thought a little pricey for the amount of time we spent there. The video about the migration of the butterflies was good and providing vials of nectar for you to hold in the butterfly room was nice. Just be warned--it is a little warm in the butterfly room (it is where the butterflies live!) so be prepared to be warm/hot. We are glad we visited but it will probably be a one-time visit.

The place is very well kept but there is not a whole lot to do or see for the price. I would skip this unless you are really in to butterflies.

This was is a butterfly lovers dream. You can get a necter stick to carry around to attract them. The gift shop was vey large and kinda pricey and the people working there and kinda rude.
The do not offer a Veterans discount unlike almost every where else did.

The staff was so friendly and we were able to take as much time as we wanted!! There is something so magical about butterflies!!! Our entire family enjoyed it!

Lots of good exhibits, interactive for younger folks, background movie was fun and informative. Butterfly area was delightful, could spend hours there. It is warm and humid in butterfly area so be prepared for that.

I thought this was a great place to visit! The butterflies are gorgeous. It’s so peaceful to watch them. My only negative is that people don’t know the rules and it kind of ruins it for others. Kids running and swatting at butterflies. Butterflies are sometimes on the ground and people didn’t watch where they were going. I think a video should be shown prior to going into the butterfly habitat. It’s a good hour visit if you just want to sit and watch them. Again, nice and peaceful. Very educational

Myself and my daughter went with my ten-year-old grandson. We enjoyed every minute of it. We thought it was a few dollars too expensive however we really enjoyed sitting there watching the butterflies fly around and my grandson love the butterfly release. We just wish it was a bigger place in more butterflies it is big enough but we stayed there several hours. We are teaching him to be respectful of the Butterflies.... move slowly ...hold your hand still. watch your step. While he was learning that, it was distractive for him when other children were running around and their parents didn't care if they were going to step on a butterfly or not-- so that kind of put a damper on learning to be respectful of other living things -- but all in all it was a good experience.

We absolutely LOVED this place!!! My mom loved butterflies when she was alive and she would’ve thought she was in Heaven here! They have a live reptile walkthrough where you can see all kinds of exotic frogs, lizards, etc. Also the butterfly enclosure that you can walk around inside of has thousands of butterflies flying around and they land on the flower vial you get to carry around so you can see them up close and personal. They even land on you! Loved it! They had a guy playing melodies on a hammered dulcimer which was very nice. They even have a section where they are incubating more. The short movie about the annual butterfly migration is really cool too...The gift shop has tons of stuff. It’s a must see if you’re in Branson Missouri!

My mom and I went here during the Covid-19 social distancing and there was not many people there. At first we thought it was costly to get in about $22 a person but it ended up being one of our favorite things we did. We ended up staying in the butterfly part for an hour or more. They have a neat short 3-d movie to watch before you go in. Then you go in and get an artificial flower to hold and the butterflies fly to your hand. They are beautiful but you have to watch where you walk and to not step on the ones on the ground. We took many photos then looked around the gift shop. It took about 2 hour of time then we were ready to go out to eat. We both ended up buying a butterfly feeder.

A special place where butterflies gather and they fly all around you, light on you, so very special. There are also several exhibits that make it a family adventure, including a reptile rain forest experience.

Recently visited The Butterfly Palace. It was enjoyable and peaceful. They have the atrium where you enter to see butterflies up close. No touching the butterflies! You can hold a vial of nectar and they will land on the flower in the vial which allows up close viewing. The different species and colors are beautiful. I viewed the release of several butterflies for their first flight. Visitors may take part in a release if same is scheduled during your visit. Very interesting and informative venue. Watch the 3D movie as well as the 2D movie which provides in-depth information about butterflies and their journey to the Butterfly Palace. It also details the conservation efforts.
There are various benches around the atrium to sit and watch the many butterflies.
The day I visited there was a musician playing the harp in the butterfly atrium.
It is quite warm in the atrium so leave jackets in your vehicle.
There is a small reptile exhibit which was most interesting. The colorful yet poisonous frogs were intriguing to me.
When admission is purchased, you can visit again for the next three days for no charge as long as the wristband remains on your wrist. They do offer a senior discount as well as an AAA discount.
All staff were friendly and welcomed inquiries about the butterflies and reptiles.
A good stop while in Branson.

Enjoyable diversion. Lot's of butterflies to see and enjoy. The mirror maze was a pleasant surprise.
We really liked the fact that the staff was requiring everyone that enters to building to be wearing masks. Wish all businesses would enforce the regulation.

Awesome adventure seeing all the beautiful butterflies and being able to hold out nectar sticks and basically have a butterfly in your hand ! Seeing the joy the butterflies brought to my wife and other children and their families was simply wonderful! Would I recommend this place to my friends and family? You betcha I sure would!

Second time to visit BP with grandchildren. This place is delightful for children of all ages and adults. Interacting with the butterflies is so much fun. They provide free nectar feeders and magnifying glasses. Some butterfly museums (think Denver) no longer allow customers to interact with the butterflies - that takes away the magic.
There also exhibits for frogs, reptiles and other amphibians. Do not miss the short educational video on the migration and life cycle of Monarch butterflies. And do not skip the mirror maze. We did it 5 times with a 4-year old. And the gift shop is richly stocked with gifts for all ages. Admission cost is reasonable. Look for coupons online and/or the local tourist books.
I highly recommend the Butterfly Place especially if you have children.

Our family had a wonderful time. There are so many butterflies. Allow about 2 hours to spend with the butterflies. There is also a mirror maze, reptile room and a gift shop.

This is a great attraction for those traveling with children. There is a mirror maze and a bungee cord maze for the children. The butterfly room is full of interesting butterflies to watch and photograph. We also picked up tubes of nectar at the entrance of the butterfly room and carried them around as we walked the pathways. Several butterflies came and landed on our nectar tubes giving us an up-close look at these amazing insects.

This was a fascinating way to spend an afternoon, during our stay in Branson.
The facility is architecturally elaborate outside, and visually pleasing inside.
The staff were friendly; though there could have been somewhat more information and guidance regarding exhibits and location.
The films on monarch butterflies, and how butterflies are supplied to this location, were interesting and informative.
The reptile area was educational; and the mirror maze frustrating but fun.
The real highlight of the afternoon, however, was spending time with the butterflies. Carrying a vial of nectar, and having multiple of these delicate creatures land upon one's person is amazing. Young or old, this is an engrossing and pleasing way to spend one's time.

It's easy to be critical of the cost here but, given all the other attractions in Branson in the same or higher cost area, the cost here is spot on.
We've been to many other butterfly habitats and, in comparison, this isn't the largest, nor is it the smallest. To get the full effect, I suggest you see the short film in the second floor theater before entering the habitat. It explains so much of the conservation and support efforts of the facility and will make you feel much better about the cost.
On entering, we were invited to carry a nectar vial, one per family, to attract the butterflies to you. If you move slowly and stop here and there, the butterflies really do land on and feed from the vial. Nice experience.
Another experience I've never had was to actively release newly "hatched" butterflies off to their first ever flight of their lives. One left its container and floated down to a stone walk where it clung for many minutes while its wings dried and fully unfurled. Cool to watch.
I moved very slowly from area to area with my camera and searched high and low in the plants and puddles. I was amazed at the sheer number of butterflies I was able to find and photograph. Taking one's time to slowly and thoroughly walk through this space yields rewards for those that seek them. Yes, you can cover the ground in 5 minutes, or you can stop and experience the space. Your choice.

We were a little skeptical of this place based on the outside and the concept, but we were travelling with two young girls and we thought they would at least enjoy it. It turned out that we ALL enjoyed it and had a great time. We were there early in the morning so we had plenty of time and space to do everything we wanted before the real crowds started. Our kids (ages 3 and 5) enjoyed everything! (We did have to keep reminding them to watch where they walked to keep the butterflies safe, but there isn’t much the place could do about that because butterflies will do whatever they want.) Feeding the butterflies was our favorite part for sure, but the mirror maze was awesome too. Don’t let any assumptions keep you from this fun experience! It was definitely worth it for us!

I had this on my Branson Bucket list for the last five years. I won't be going back to this exhibit. This is geared more toward families with younger children who would like climbing around in a "forest" or happy to see only 20-30 butterflies. I expected to see many more butterflies than we did.
Not set up for people using walkers or a wheelchair. Lonnnnng ramp to get to the exhibit..

It's been several years since we visited the Butterfly palace. So when we planned our 4th of July weekend there we made The Butterfly Palace a destination. My wife and 13 year old daughter was absolutely enamored with the butterflies and the rain forest atmosphere. I even teared a few times seeing them enjoy themselves while soothing music was being played live in the background. My 16 year old son however, was only mildly interested in the experience. He participated and din't complain but I could tell it wasn't his first choice. The butterflies look unreal while flying and floating around you. They were so colorful and beautiful to look at and interact with. The facility was clean and everyone had plenty of room to social distance. Masks were required at the time of our visit and it was not a problem. The mirror maze was so fun and everyone in the family enjoyed it multiple times. The gift shop was ample and we ended up buying gifts for family members with upcoming birthdays. There were no real cons except for one. I would like to see them offer a single day pass at a lower price. This was the most expensive event of our trip. We did end up going back a 2nd time the day we left Branson but spent a little less time than before. Looking back, we could have saved $1 on each ticket had we ordered online but that would have only lowered our entry price to about $85 and change instead of the $89 and change for 4 of us. Other than that, this was a beautiful, soothing and fun experience that only took about 2 hours. If you enjoy nature, butterflies, rain forest atmospheres and learning about those subjects then I definitely recommend going.

Beautiful place to visit! Kind people. Great for kids. Butterflies land on you! They had live music and were very knowledgeable.

We a very good time and butterfies are beautiful! The mirror forest is very good also i will go back if i get a chance. I would recommend it to everone

Wow! This place far exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely wonderful! I could tell my one year old daughter had a wonderful time. When you walk in the butterfly room they literally have probably a couple thousand butterflies I would have to assume. They also had a gentleman playing music in the room with the butterflies which I felt really made the experience more special. You won’t regret visiting here! It was wonderful!
Wonderful place!! Such a great experience. Make sure to dress in light/summery clothes as it is humid in the aviary. Wear red if you can, the butterflies love it a
