This is a pretty bare bones retail operation for fresh seafood. They have their own boats! Which unload in the back. You can walk around to watch. Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh! Selection varies according to what is available. Pink Gulf Shrimp in several sizes up to colossal likewise the stone crab claws when in season. Fresh wild caught fish- we’ve had snapper, Ahi tuna, triple tail. They pack your selection in ice for the car ride home. Prices are market. I wouldn’t buy fish anywhere else.

The counter personnel are all very friendly and helpful. They work with inexperienced guests very well and discuss the best options and amounts in a professional easy manner. They have a terrific selection of fresh Seafood and other products such as seasonings and home made sauces. They also have frozen bulk items as well. Definitely worth a visit for great tasting food.

Stop here every May and October before we head back to Ohio. VERY CLEAN MARKET. Helpful and friendly staff. They carry both fresh and frozen shrimp.

We stumbled upon Trico quite by accident while driving under the Ft.Myers Beach bridge on a very chilly day in February. When we went in, the young ladies behind the counter were very pleasant and patient in explaining the shrimp sizes, etc. We bought some of the large (as opposed to medium or jumbo) and took them home. The only thing we didn't like was the $3 per pound charge for steaming there. We decided against paying the extra $3 for our pound of shrimp. When visiting other parts of the South, for example, in South Carolina coast, often the shrimp are steamed for free after purchase. In any event, the shrimp were deliciously fresh (nothing like what you get at a seafood store in the North where they've usually been previously frozen). We went back a second time during our short visit. We would have gone another time or two except for the backup of the bridge traffic heading south towards Estero and Bonita, which can extend for many miles, and up to one or two hours of waiting. There is no other way to get to Trico, so you have to time your visit accordingly.

Trico is on Main Street in Fort Myers Beach...not really on the beach itself....a bit of a misnomer since there is nothing Main about it, except maybe a reference to sails? If you want fresh shrimp or fish, this is the place to go. The shrimp boats are docked right behind the building. Florida Pink Shrimp are sweet and delicious and not "farmed" in some open sewer in the Far East. They always have a good selection of fish as well, grouper, snapper, triple tail, etc.

After reading the reviews, here, we stopped by for stuff to grill.
Just the two of us, but was got a little assortment, of jumbo gulf shrimp, luscious sea scallops & huge hunk of tuna steak. The scallops came out perfect. The tuna was so big we need to cut in half to grill, as we prefer our fish cooked.
Small place & small assortment; but we got in & out without a problem. They even packed it in an ice bag to keep cold.
There's nothing better than fresh off the boat seafood & fish, for our grilling pleasure. I hope to see you next year.
Parking: easy in & out.

Fresh seafood from daily catches. Shrimp by the pound in different sizes. Fish various types. Scallops. Sauces. Frozen boxes for larger quantities. Al very good. This a market. No dining.

As always, the cheapest ,freshest pink shrimp in the Ft. Myers Beach area. Will steam and season your shrimp while you wait. we visit 2-3 every time we are in the area.

This is a market where I can buy shrimp with the heads on.living in fort myers and earlier in Louisiana, cooking shrimp has much more flavor and you are assured freshness without chemicals. Most commercial stores spray their shrimp with a chemical for longevity and that's why you can't get headed shrimp.
Great store, friendly workers, great product.

Based on reading TripAdvisor reviews and loving my wife and I stopped in yesterday and bought one pound of the large key West shrimp. The place is immaculate and very cute and inviting from the outside with their multitude of flower blooms. My wife cooked the shrimp in beer and old bay, and they were absolutely the BEST shrimp I think I have ever eaten. If you like seafood, you would do well to give them a try. We will go back whenever we can!

The fresh seafood is amazing. The ladies were so helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely stop there again. Even thinking of having some shipped home.

Second year in a row we have had the best shrimp and fish. Also the cocktail sauce is to die for. Good job on running a great business.

Best place to pick up shrimp on the island! Select other fresh fish a bonus too! We have been coming here for 15+ years and always shop Trico. Take some shrimp home too.

I went here to buy shrimp based on Trip Adviser reviews and I was not disappointed. The shrimp were huge and very reasonable priced. There is such a difference in taste of fresh shrimp and the ones frozen from the store! There were excellent tasting! I also bought some fresh Tuna and Grouper which were very good. A must go place when you are down there.

We wanted to bring some shrimp home so we stopped here before heading to the airport. We were greeted by a very friendly family. They recommended the best way to transport the shrimp. Wrapped the package very well and the shrimp stayed frozen no problem.
Excellent customer service!

This was our second visit to Trico. The variety of shrimp was good (three sizes). Variety of other seafood was OK. Counter staff were very like and could have been a bit more cordial, but considering it was very busy, I guess this is to be expected. Gulf shrimp never disappoint, and the jumbo size we purchased and grilled with butter, a sprinkling of Old Bay seasoning, chopped garlic and sliced lemon (after turning over to grill second side) were delicious but a bit difficult to peel (not sure why). I only eat Gulf shrimp and these shrimp did not disappoint.

Fresh shrimp fresh off the boat! Their cocktail sauce is also good. We came here for stone crab and left with the crab and 5 pounds of shrimp. The stone crab was good, but the shrimp is more fresh. Worth the trip off the main drag and they wrap up your order with ice for you to get back to your vacation place.

I have been coming to Trico's for the past 30 years and their seafood is superb!! You can find cheaper prices at other places but their quality is top notch!!!

We visited Trico after a sailboat ride. Picked up some wonderful fresh gulf shrimp and made dinner. They will give you easy cooking instructions for your peel n eat shrimp. If you plan to go here near the end of your stay, bring some shrimp home! This place will pack the shrimp on ice for you.

Great place to buy shrimp right off the boats. They have a good selection of other fish and it is priced very good. Freshest shrimp in town.

Went twice for fresh shrimp. They don’t disappoint and put the shrimp in the midwest to shame! Good prices, fresh off the boat. They will ship. Sauce very good. Also smoked mullet tasty!

The only place to get fresh shrimp right off the boat. Gulf pinks straight from the southern gulf. If you don't know there are 3 kinds of shrimp in the Gulf of Mexico. Texas Browns, Louisiana Whites, & the best tasting Gulf Pinks. There is of course Red deep water shrimp in various locations. Fresh is fresh!

TRICO is a great place for a fresh seafood and the best in the World KEY LIME PIE. Gulf Pink Head-On Shrimp are overwhelmingly tasty ($9.95 / lb). You could buy there also boil mixes, outstanding cocktail souces for shellfish, fish fillets, and various chowders, freshly made. If you like Key Lime Pie, there is no better than the one they sell ($15.95). Buy at least 2 when you go there.

I always buy my seafood at Tricos. My friends always say, try this place or go there. They ask, why do you have to go all the way to Tricos?? My answer is, I trust Tricos. They have a shrimp boat parked at the dock out back most of the time when it is not trawling for shrimp. So, I know where my shrimp comes from!! Everything is spotless and the case of seafood is beautiful. This week, I bought extra large shrimp and paid to have it steamed and it was perfect. Everything is wrapped in ice when you leave. Since I was in hurry, I bought their homemade cocktail sauce and boy, was it good!! The Trico service people answer all questions and even stupid ones with patience and their expertise. When I’m not in FM, I dream of being at Tricos buying wonderful seafood!

The only place to shop for Fresh Sea Food on Ft Myers Beach. Stopped in past Trico on Saturday afternoon to pick up a special dinner.......medium "Stone Crab" for two with a tub of Trico's homemade fantastic pepper sauce.....WOW! One pound should give you 6 legs and claws, more than enough for two people, the only other thing you need on the plate is some yellow rice and you are in for a treat, accompanied by a nice green salad on a separate plate.....Fantastic!

The best place to buy shrimp in the Fort Myers Area hands down. Hugh shrimp both heads on and off. Great prices, we bought 6 pounds of different sizes and heads on and off. Went back for another 5 pounds couldn't get enough. Oh yes there are other things there as well and I am sure they were great but we went for the shrimp and couldn't be happier. One last thing the girls working the counter knew their stuff very smart and could answer all the questions we had. If your in the area, dont buy the frozen stuff from the store take a trip to Trico and get the good stuff.

Trico has the freshest, best variety of seafood in Fort Myers! We purchased shrimp and scallops. The scallops were sweet orbs from heaven and the one and ONLY Florida Pink shrimp sweet and salty like the ocean! Customer service is excellent and be sure to go around back to watch the boats come in if you are lucky. It's not hard to find and well worth the drive from Sanibel Island! They also will ship shrimp to your cold Northern home if you wish.. and we WISH!

I worked for TRICO shrimp company on and off for 25 years. You are not going to find a better quality seafood around.

We discovered this wonderful seafood market several years back when we were here for our annual vacation. We buy five pounds and get a discount, then go back and buy 5 more to take back with us.

Great shrimp. They peeled, deveined, and cooked it in Old Bay! Great dinner with steam mussels on the side!

Went to have a look and came out with Shrimp, Stone Crab and New England Chowder. They are all to be recommended. The staff are very knowledgeable and have several leaflets regarding preparing and cooking the seafood. The shop is lovely and clean and we spent some time looking around at all the spices, sauces etc. that they also stock before deciding what to finally buy and take with us.
It is a very popular place - not surprising as their fish is so fresh - the shrimp boats actually dock outside the shop. They do have frozen stocks, but make it very clear what is frozen and what is fresh. We were lucky enough to see a boat come in and were told we could go through the loading bay and watch the action. We spoke to the Captain, who told us that they had been at sea for 2 weeks and had to come back early because of bad weather, but still had a good catch in the hold. We saw it being unloaded - very interesting.
Not cheap but very good quality and we would definitely buy again on a future visit.

If you are going to buy shrimp and other seafood you might as well buy it from the people who supply the other seafood places in the area. The selection of things other than shrimp varies from day to day so it is a great place to shop and see what they have when you get there. Their staff is very helpful and courteous. This is the first place I go to when I am thinking about a seafood dinner

I would not have known about this place if it were not for other reviews. We cook the majority of our food in our condo while here for the week and wanted fresh seafood. We got large shrimp and grouper. I don’t normally purchase fresh seafood so I can’t really say if the price was reasonable but considering how much a meal is when eating out it seems to be reasonable. I cooked the shrimp on skewers on the grill one night and the grouper light breaded and baked the next night. Both were exceptional! I will definitely visit Trico Shrimp Co when I return to FMB and highly recommend visiting them. They also have deveiners and seasonings.

Trico fish company. Great fresh shrimp flash frozen the day they were caught. Just delicious! So happy that we can buy fresh shrimp again.

Everyone should get fresh off the boat shrimp they steam for you while you wait. Staff was great and offer help with everything we asked about...awesome shrimp! Worth a trip slightly out of the way!

We were in Ft Myers Beach for the Christmas Week. We stopped here 3 times! We were able to pre-order fish for Christmas dinner. We also stopped here for fresh shrimp a couple times during the week. Fresh and delicious!

We picked up colossal shrimp and crab claws. They were both delicious and fresh. Be sure you have a mallet for the crab claws or pick one up there. They are tough to break, but worth it.

We stopped here mid afternoon and picked up some jumbo shrimp and tuna steak. Both were very delicious. Its a cute little place. We walked around back to get a view of the shrimpi,g boats. Small shop but worth the stop. I would suggest stopping early if you are looking to buy the colossal shrimp as they sell out fast.

All the reviews are right on.... fabulous fish !!! Picked up Grouper that we had on Feb 27th.. was so fresh ! Got there about 8:45 and by 9 there were 7-10 cars waiting. Get there early !

If we are anywhere close to Trico’s we will get here. The freshest and best selection of your seafood to cook for dinner. At the docks, but easy to get to. Don’t go anywhere else.

We purchased fresh-off-the-boat large shrimp at this market and found the selection to be outstanding! It’s such a cute little store including seafood accompaniments and decorations. We enjoyed walking on the path to enjoy the shrimp boat and water views too

We stopped there for some fresh shrimp after reading reviews on TA.
We were not disappointed.
The shrimp were fresh, large and reasonable priced.
We took them back and cooked them. Delicious, much better than the ones we normally buy at our local supermarket. Fresh caught Gulf shrimp A+

This place had great shrimp! They had some crab and lobster tails, but not a huge variety of fish, if that's what you're looking for. I would totally go back!!!

This place has great shrimp, great prices and great people working. They are seriously so nice, this place is not my go to for shrimp but it is also my go to place because of how wonderful they treat their customers!

As I left Fort Myers Beach I stopped by to check on shipping my favorite fish, GROUPER. The girl at the counter, a little tiny thing, could not have provided better customer service. Shipping is expensive, not the companies doing. I ended up buying grouper and 5 lbs of shrimp to carry home in a carry on. She wrapped and provides some dry ice for my flight home. My son couldnt be happier that I could bring home fresh fish. Highly recommended!!! All the seafood looked amazing. Cant wait to eat it.

Every year, I trek of the island of sanibel to visit Trico and bring back fresh shrimp for the family. Never a disappointment. This year, it appeared they remodeled the front customer area as it was always a bit rustic in the past.

We have been coming to Trico's for many years. Its our weekly spot for fresh fish & shrimp every year we are here on Fort Myers Beach. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to answer any question you may have. A must if your want really fresh seafood

Very fresh seafood. The grouper, yellow fin tuna and the shrimp were great. Good service too. It's not the cheapest, but fresh seafood ever is

If you want the BEST shrimp to cook~ Trico is the place! Sweet, pink and delicious! Excellent cocktail sauce too! They even pack your items on ice for transport home.

So our stay in Fort Myers Beach is nearly done and we have to get stone crab legs. Trico Shrimp company looked like a good bet. It is back with the fishing fleet on the shore side not the Island. Looks like a Florida fish shop. Walking in the store is small but there was a wide array of Shrimp, fish and the stone crabs. I bought mediums, @$23 a pound. The young lady behind the counter was very nice, very helpful and very proud to be a native of Fort Myers Beach, even has it tattooed on her arm. The crab was delicious, we are very happy and next time down here we will go to Trico again.

Trico was recommended to us to buy shrimp to take home from vacation. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She helped us decide which shrimp was best for our needs and wrapped it very well for our trip. The shrimp made it home still frozen (over 24 hours). The prices are reasonable. The shrimp are great!

We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend who has been a resident of Fort Myers for 8 years. She said the seafood was fresh, and boy is it ever!
To start with, it is Thanksgiving week and the market was crazy busy when we visited. Some of the other customers were rude and pushy, and drove like idiots in the parking lot. We survived. The young people working inside, however, were very polite and professional (WOW!).
The display of seafood was relatively short but crammed full of fresh seafood. Lots of Stone Crab Claws (3 grades) and 3 (or 4) grades of BIG shrimp! The shrimp were definitely on the top of their grades size wise. The Ahi Tuna had a rich, deep color; we will be getting that on a future visit.
We bought 4 of the 3-4 per pound Jumbo Stone Crab Claws (35.95/lb), 2 pounds of the Large 21/25 Shrimp ($12.95/lb), and a container of their fresh Blue Crab Dip ($16.95).
We had the Stone Crab Claws last night and they must’ve been very healthy crabs, as we broke a brand new cracker. I will use a mallet or hammer next time in the kitchen to make sure the shells are broken enough. The crab was absolutely delicious and very fresh.
The entire market had a nice overall smell, not “fishy” at all. I am very sensitive to that and I was very impressed. I am cooking half of the shrimp tonight and I can hardly wait!

We have a place in Ft. Myers and spend time there in the spring and fall. I ALWAYS go to Trico for my shrimp, it puts the crap you by frozen in the store to shame. It's crunchy and sweet like I remember shrimp tasting like as a kid. The fish is fresh and awesome. When we leave to go home they wrap up a box of frozen and we put it in our checked bag and enjoy it at home.

So the stone crab claws are already cooked, which is great for the vacationers! At $32.95 a pound, that seemed to us to be a fair price since we are taking back to eat and not dealing with restaurants tips and staff and wait time blah and so forth! So we got a dozen of the claws, which totaled $80.07 before Florida sales tax (why is there a sales tax in FL for food from a fish market?). We picked up butter on the was back to where we were staying. We devoured these awesome claws !!!! & we were a mess with butter everywhere and had so much fun pounding the claws !!!! and omg was it sooooo worth it! I thought later that we should had this on video! TIP: purchase the hammer !! We ended up (after trying other methods) placing each claw one by one in between a folded wash cloth the beating it with a fairly heavy saucepan from the kitchenette from our room, using the granite countertop. It worked perfectly , but take note that your neighbors may wonder what the heck is going on!! We wish we could have tried the prawns but we had a limited amount of time in Ft Myers.

This is a regular stop for us when we visit Fort Myers beach. We love the fresh shrimp. This time the fishermen were also catching gulf lobsters. We took 2 tails back to our rental and baked them. Maybe the best I have ever had. We came back and bought 6 more to bring home. They vacuum sealed and froze them for us so we could carry them on the plane. They were still frozen when we got home. Can’t wait to enjoy them again.

Since relocating to Fort Myers from Baltimore Maryland, I wanted to find a place to buy fresh raw seafood. Upon searching I found Trico Shrimp Company.
This little place is amazing. It's like the little packing houses on the Chesapeake. When we entered the store, the friendly girl behind the counter, Armani, welcomed us and told us that a boat was being unloaded. We asked if we could go see this and she allowed us to go waterside where a boat was being unloaded. This was so AMAZING. Very educational. Captain Paul explained the process from staying out in the gulf to how the boat refrigeration system works to the end result.
I bought the 26/30 ct. At the local grocery store I paid $15.99 a pound. Here a five pound box cost me $49.99 which is $10.00 a pound (savings of $5.00 a pound)
The freshness and nice salted flavor surpassed my expectations.
They also sell all types of fish and huge sea scallops!!! Give them a try.
They have my seafood business permanently. Thanks for the experience.

I know the owners personally and can say this is the best seafood market around!!!!!..you cant find better shrimp anywhere...super friendly staff!! : )

Dropped in to buy some fresh shrimp and saw a pile of stone crab $120.00 later we were 5 disappointed diners at the table as the claws were pre frozen and tasted like it. Shrimp was very good.
The crab claws I purchased from Publix a few days later were less expensive and fresh so that’s your best bet.

absolute must visit for fresh seafood all season long when in town.. prices VERY fair Fresh, Fresh,, fish choices,, sauces and dips awesome.... Customer service on point and pleasant

Okay, this place has great fish and, especially, shrimp. We bought crab, triple tail and shrimp here to cook for dinner during out stay on Ft. Myers Beach. All of it was excellent. None was overpriced. My only cavil is that the largest shrimp they were selling, which looked to me to be (and in fact, were) 15-20 count per pound, were labeled as "Colossal" shrimp in the case. I suppose all fishmongers have a wee bit of larceny in their hearts, but 15-20 count shrimp is nowhere near "Colossal" when one realizes that one can buy shrimp at U10 (under 10 count per pound) and even U5 shrimp (under 5 count per pound). I wish folks wouldn't pull the legs of unsuspecting tourists.

The shrimp were wonderful. They will steam and season the shrimp for you. Will go back again. Easy to find by fort Myers beach. Great for serving to guests

After reading about Trico Shrimp in Trip Advisor, I couldn't wait to try it! We were only here a few days when my friend and I drove out and bought a pound of shrimp and had them "cook" it for $3.00. They were so delicious that we went back a few days later and got some more! We also bought their Key Lime Pie which was wonderful. We are going to go back again, buy both the shrimp and the pie! This place is a gem!
You do have to peel and devein the shrimp and you can't eat there, but, it is worth it
If you like shrimp, don't miss it!!!

We bought jumbo pink shrimp and sea scallops. We were very happy with the quality of the food. The scallops were a great price. Service was excellent, with our seafood packed in ice for us.

Came here after looking for a place for fresh seafood online while in Fort Myers. Reviews looked good so gave it a try and was blown away. I wish most restaurants I have ordered shrimp at were this meaty and delicious. Coming from Kansas City where good shrimp is far and few, we went on 2 different occasions in a week forgoing restaurants we enjoyed it so much. We ended up buying the large size both times. I'll miss it.

We had a friend bring us some fresh shrimp right off the boat. What a difference from frozen.Everything there is fresh from the snapper to the stone crab. The prices are good.We will be regular customers.

I've bought my Shrimp there for about the last 12 winters. Save time and get the JUMBOs.

Alway great quality...fresh...yum!Easy stop after a morning beach run..we love the shrimp from here. Can not go wrong with anything from this clean, fresh fish market.

We had 5 lbs. of Jumbo Shrimp for our family dinner. Fantastic! Really miss the shrimp pieces that we also used to buy for our pasta dishes and jambalaya. What happened? Could orders be taken. Can shrimp be shipped?

We've visited Trico twice during our first vacation at FMB, the Stone crab claws were excellent and the Trico homemade Stone crab sauce is not to be missed.

oh my gosh, the fish here is absolutely delicious...buy the jumbo pink "headless" shrimp....it is the BEST ever & we've had shrimp all over this USA and this is the best..absolutely delicious!!! Also, had the snapper which is outstanding and the group is just as good!!! Went to Trico 3 times in one week and would have gone 7 except we weren't close enough the other 4 days we were in FL...we are ordering shrimp to be shipped here in Indy for Christmas it's that good!!! Don't bother with the other fish companies around...go to Trico!!

I spent the month in FMB and I went to Trico’s the second day of my vacation. I bought the best pink shrimp ( FL local) and grouper right off the fishing boats. Everything we bought was fresh and superb tasting. I would recommend to all. Went back six times purchasing shrimp every time with tuna, red snapper & more of grouper. Tip: Buy the shrimp with the heads on $9.99 per pound. When I go back to FMB I will return to Trico’s for good eats. Well worth the trip under the bridge.

We recently were on vacation and decided to stop here per some trip advisor recommendations. It's a simple place with a friendly staff. They have many selections of seafood to choose from at very reasonable prices. We went with fresh shrimp (caught in Key West) which was the best! They will cook it for you for $3 which is well worth the cost. We picked up some side dishes, wine and enjoyed a relaxing dinner. Another option they offer is overnight shipping which is something to consider for the upcoming holidays.

This is the place to go for fresh seafood. What else can I say? Great prices, great variety! We bought fresh large shrimp, had them steamed and seasoned here, and enjoyed them at the condo.

I love stopping here when we are on vacation. They will steam your spring for you. It is the best tasting shrimp because it is so fresh. This year I stopped by to get a couple pounds of shrimp steamed. I was told they couldn’t do it because I had to give them an hours notice. Last year they steamed it while I waited. So I had to call the next day and give them my order.

Went to Trico's on the recommendation from friends. We were not disappointed. Great selection of fresh off of the boat seafood and the prices were very reasonable.

My mom loves to get fresh seafood from Trico. We visited at the end of May and bought some of the shrimp and crab, fish dip and some other misc. items. The staff is great, very clean and has great parking as well as a very pretty entrance. If you're looking for a place to pick up some fresh seafood, this is your place!

Perfect! Fresh pink shrimp, fresh grouper , red snapper, yellow fin tuna, sword fish, Mahi mahi. Giant sea scallops. Fresh spiney lobster tails. Stone crab. Snow crab and king crab. You won't be disappointed! !

Worth a stop if you are near Ft Myers Beach. Very fresh, nice service. Recommend and will return again when in the area.

while boating past the shrimp boats at Matanzas Pass we called Trico and asked if we could tie up. The pleasant girl on the phone directed us to their dock and we went in to purchase some fresh "gulf pinks" . they packed in ice for us for the boat ride back home, and we enjoyed steamed old bay shrimp like none other. Thanks Trico for a great experience. I recommend highly for fish literally right off the boat!

All the seafood here is great!! But, shrimp, wild caught, and from the Gulf is simply divine. Nice people- the freshest seafood and quite convenient to Sanibel too. Check out Trico’s - you won’t be disappointed.

The market itself is pretty small. Truthfully with all of the great reviews, I was expecting a little more but they did have some beautiful shrimp, which I did buy some of. I also bought a piece of smoked mullet. It was good as well.

This is the best place for pink shrimp fresh off the boat. The parking lot is large. The market itself is small with one fresh fish case, but the quality and prices are the best. Usually three different sizes of pinks but I prefer the mediums. I think they taste is the best. The attitude is inviting and the friendly service makes Trico my place for fresh shrimp and seafood. They will pack your purchase in ice. The cocktail sauce is homemade and worth purchasing. I live three miles away and find my way here at lease once a week. A must stop off as you are leaving Fort Myers Beach.

We stopped at the suggestion from Captain Jessica from Island Time Dolphin and Shelling Cruises, when we decided to do a last minute big seafood dinner our last night. We could not get the shrimp peeled and deveined with it being in season and very busy (that would have been a call ahead order) but we had them steamed, and to be honest, shelling and cleaning was a breeze because these were very clean shrimp. We also picked up some of the frozen soup while there, and the shrimp and corn chowder was a huge hit. Prices were great, seafood was wonderful and the staff were all super friendly. Would definitely shop there again while in the area.

Bought shrimp here the other day. It was about $4 cheaper per pound that other places. Quality and service were very good.

A great place to stop and get your fresh shrimp to fix at home every week. They have various other seafood options as well. Prices are good as well. Probably right off the boats as the shrimp boats work out of this pier.

use to live on fmb,now in connecticut-yuck.when visiting last week purchased trico shrimp and stone crab absolutely delicious! last nite bought some grocery store shrimp and they were terrible. please stay in business forever.

My husband and I visited Trico Shrimp Company to buy fresh fish to cook. The man behind the counter was very friendly and told us to walk out on the docks as the boats were coming in. We saw the fresh catch of the day coming in. We bought fresh snapper and shrimp to cook on the grill at our hotel- it was delicious! We would go there again next time we visit to get some great fresh fish!

We decided to grill out at our hotel today and sought out fresh seafood. I happened upon Trico in my search. They have a great selection of local fish and florida shrimp. Very knowledgable about the local seafood and prices were fair.
I am looking forward to grilling my Triple Tail and large shrimp tonite. They gave me some spices and advice on how to cook.
Full service!
Great place to go to buy locally caught seafood.

Checked Trico out given rating pn Trip Advisor. Worth a stop if you are in the area and want to check out the local catches. Great spot to order for group gathering too.

Great seafood choices, such as several sizes of shrimp, fresh (just off the boat) fish selections & we chose the Mahi-Mahi Plus the Xtra large Shrimp. As seafood prices hit the ceiling, we were amazed at their prices! This is an organized fresh market without heavy fishy smells, plus the extra care in packing selections chosen were much appreciated**wish they were near our home near Tampa! After having our seafood meal in Ft.Myers condo, we boast about the flavors we haven't found in local supermarket selections. GO, GO

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any boats coming in. You need to call between 9-11am and ask if they have boats coming in and when, otherwise they do not know. Great fresh selection of shrimp and fish. Thank goodness they had some fresh made cocktail sauce and they steamed our shrimp right there, we couldn't wait!!! The pink gulf shrimp fresh off the boat are by far the best shrimp I've ever had in my life. Prices didn't seem to bad. We will return when we are in town.

We have been going to Trico for over 10 years.
They are a very reliable and consistent source of
Quality seafood. The shrimp is always top notch.
And don't forget to check out their fresh fish catch of
the day.

Enjoyed visiting Trico for the second year in a row for fresh seafood. Had humongous shrimp one night, grouper (OMG!) night number 2, and finally snapper and shrimp on night number 3! Stopped daily for the freshest protein possible. Sauteed each meal in pure butter and a little seasoning. You will not be disappointed. Pure bliss, better than a restaurant! And, the staff is VERY friendly!

We chose Trico Shrimp Co after reading the reviews. It was close to where we were staying at Siesta Bay RV park. We bought Shrimp & Red Snapper to prepare for our Christmas dinner. We grilled the snapper & boiled the shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. If you like a kick, their homemade cocktail sauce was amazing. The prices seemed reasonable & the staff was very polite & professional. They are located right at the end of the bridge before crossing over to Fort Myers Beach.

We bought some shrimp and tuna here befor heading to our rental cottage. So very glad we did, the tuna was like butter, and the shrimp were the freshest and best we have ever had. The young women who work there are polite and helpful, even offered to add ice to our purchases without being asked.
I would advise anyone who is visiting the Sanabel or Ft Meyers area to make this one of your stops.

Oh man this place is fantastic! Wonderful fresh shrimp and fish. We came here several times during our week on FMB. We enjoyed cooking shrimp, grouper and triple tail at our resort! They also have the best cocktail sauce, remoulade sauce and a fantastic seasoning. We loved it all so much we went back to get extras to take home of the sauces and seasonings. This place is a must for any visit in our books

Stopped at Trico after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. Had steamed shrimp and took back to resort and they were excellent. Will definately stop again.

Read about it here and had to go. Not an eat-in place but were able to order shrimp which they boil for you to spice level u wish. Also purchased cocktail sauce which was outta this world! Salmon spread also excellent. Have never had better shrimps ever! Friendly, courteous employees too! Dont miss it.

If you are looking for fresh, off the boat gulf pink shrimp, stop here. Everything is extremely fresh. Picked up large shrimp and stone crab claws with mustard dipping sauce--all excellent. They have seasonings, sauces and free recipes. Highly recommend. Can also purchase frozen shrimp and great key lime pies. Prices are reasonable.

this company has some of the freshes seafood you can ask for !!!! i do go here very often,, on the way home from the beach , turn right on main street right after the bridge!!!there will be ANOTHER seafood outfit called sanibel,,, but go by that sign and turn right into trico's seafood ,, there a wide variety of fish, scallops shrimp and lobster !!! YOU will not be dissapointed with the quality of this food SO,,, I DO RECOMMEND !!! trico;s seafood

Our first night in Fort Myers and we stumbled across the Trico Shrimp Company. Thinking out of the box, we decided to get a couple pounds of shrimp, rock shrimp, and crab claws. We bought a wooden “crab hammer” and some Old Bay Seasoning.
We returned to the our suite at the Best Western with a kitchenette and pots/pans and steamed up our fresh “catch”. Also having a taste for hot dogs, we cooked up some of those too. Never thought we’d eat that combination but it was GREAT! The seafood couldn’t be fresher and taste any better for cooking them up in a hotel room !!
Thank Trico Shrimp Company for the fresh catch!

We always buy the jumbo size. It's always been fresh. We've never had a problem. Boil with old bay. Buy enough for three days. First day peel and eat with lemon and cocktail sauce. Second day scampi and noodles. Third day big fresh green salad with shrimp. Fourth day back to trico.

We bought the large shrimp and they were huge. Of course they needed to be cooked. They were absolutely hands down the best shrimp I have ever eaten. The scallops were also very good. This is a must if you are in the area and are willing to cook.

I would like to keep this place a hidden gem, but feel it needs a review worthy of how great this place is~ We went to Florida twice this Winter and took shrimp home to MN both times. The employees here are awesome and helped us get the colossal shrimp home that are in a box frozen with dry ice. We brought a cooler with us and took it as one of our luggage bags, we had two experiences first time no issues the second time Delta has us take the plug out of our cooler which was odd. So, either way we got them home here to MN and have been enjoying the beautiful shrimp and thinking of our trips to Trico! Keep up the great job and we will for sure come back when we visit our family and friends again~ 4Ever Fans- T&D

Stopped by Trico’s based on TA reviews and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! We were greeted by a beautiful counter full of fresh fish and shrimp! The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly!!! Our shrimp was delicious and my husband has already talked about going back for more!! I would give Trico’s more than 5 stars if I could! EXCELLENT!

We always stop when we're in the area to pick up the freshest shrimp available in the Ft. Myer area. The little shop is clean, doesn't smell fishy, and has a nice variety of seafood. They will also ship frozen boxes of shrimp to your best friends throughout the country.
Shrimp boats are right out back offloading. This is the real deal.

We arrived early and were surprised at the number of customers flocking in the doors. The seafood is displayed beautifully, reasonably priced with a variety of size and type.
The staff is more than helpful and we were in and out in minimal time. But most important is the quality can't be beat. We love the place and will stop there to buy more every time we are in the Ft. Myers area. It can be difficult to find and don't trust your Garmin. But the trip is definitely worth while.

We are young snowbirds, in our 50's have a 15 year hystory of purchasing seafood all over SW Florida. At first this was our choice. Last year we spent 75 dollars on supposedly fresh fish and it was aweful. Fishy and and soft...old fish. This year we spent another 75 dollars and got blank stone crab. Things have changed with this company for the worse.

Trico is by far the freshest Sea Food in SW Florida, these folks are 7th generation Shrimpers and know what they're doing, unfortunatly most of our grocery stores now stock sea food from China and with no regulations, sea food from China will never be prepared in my home!

We came to Trico Shrimp Co based on what I had seen on Trip Advisor. The seafood is certainly fresh and plentiful. For $3 they will steam your purchase, but this is not a restaurant and there is no opportunity to eat here.

When you are on the Gulf you need to eat the best shrimp in the world that we have here. Trico's has the that shrimp and at the best prices. Always fresh and the service is excellent. On Main Street tucked right in sight of their shrimp boats. Don't miss it!

Friendly staff and great mouth watering Shrimp!! The crab legs are to die for !!!
If you love seafood this is the ONLY place to go. Friendly smiles and great food what more could you want!!!

We shop here frequently when coming to SW Florida, shrimp, off the local boats, great prices and friendly staff

if your looking for shrimp, this is the place to go. Fresh, watch it unload off the boat. Good deal for fresh shrimp.

I purchased shrimp here twice in June. Both times it was excellent. I was not sure about grilling my shrimp but they told me what to do and it turned out great! They offered helpful advice and I was happy with my purchase both times! I will return again to buy more shrimp and probably try the fish too.

Excellent shrimp. They also have homemade cocktail sauce that is the best we have ever had. Very polite and helpful staff. There are other types of fish also with prices that vary. They advertise their hours as daily, and when we stopped on our way to the airport, a sign on the door said closed that weekend. That was our only disappointment. I need to call to find out if they will ship. We are all craving that shrimp again!

We go to this place every time in FT Myers!! The gulf shrimp is fantastic !! We always get a dozen of those for appetizers. It's a must for seafood lovers.

Fresh shrimp, grouper and any other fish that may have just come off the boat. The seafood is always fresh. We get a couple pounds of shrimp to boil and eat on all week.

This was what we chose for our last dinner on Estero Island. My wife and daughter drove to Trico Shrimp Co. after calling to make sure they could steam the shrimp in-house; the answer was yes! They drove there and commented the people behind the counter were not rude, but certainly not overtly friendly. They ordered 4.5 pounds of steamed shrimp and two tubs of their in-house cocktail sauce, and brought it back to the hotel. Gotta say, it was some of the best shrimp I have ever had! My guess was 'old bay' on the powder they put on the steamed shrimp, and their cocktail sauce was seriously good. Excellent choice if you like shrimp! We will definitely going to return!

This is the fish market to get the freshest, tastiest gulf seafood at fair prices. So fresh the ocean is in your hands! Don't buy elsewhere. Come here!

A foundation of the working waterfront on Fort Myers Beach, Trico is THE place to buy shrimp! It doesn’t get fresher than right off the boat, the staff is helpful and friendly. Great selection of not only shrimp, but also a variety of other local seafood. If you pre-order, they will de-vein and even steam shrimp if you so desire. Take time during your visit to walk down to the dock and see the boats that catch this “Pink Gold”.

Absolutely freshest and best SF market in Fort Myers area. Staff are friendly, accommodating and resourceful. We just received delivery via overnight shipping. From ordering, processing to delivery all was faultless!!! This experience was not unlike all of our overnight deliveries from Trico. Jayden and Dana—thank you very much for all of your efforts

Fresh as you can get right off the boats. Best shrimp you can buy. The market is clean as a whistle with absolutely no fishy smell.

This place is over the bridge from FMB but worth the quick drive. The unassuming store is located right next to the boats that bring in fresh pink shrimp and fish. We picked up 2 pounds of Jumbo Shrimp on our visit and they were perfect simply boiled with Old Bay. I believe there were 3-4 fresh varieties of fish as well as crab, but we did not try those.
The store also has Old Bay, Spanish rice, etc. to go with the seafood as well as a freezer full of Key Lime Pie for dessert.

This is the place!!! Fabulous, fresh shrimp every day, seafood, stone crab, spices and more. If you are on FMB and want seafood, this place is a must! Great prices on shrimp and the rest!

Great fresh seafood market. We enjoyed picking up fresh tuna and some of the crab meat as well as shrimp. They also have great sauces to select from

Give it a try.
Some of the freshest products we have seen in ages.
Sold in 5 lb fozen blocks or unfrozen at counter.

They had a great selection of prawns (small, medium, large and extra large), tuna, grouper, stone crab claws(various sizes), scalops and lobster tails, when I visited. Everything we bought was super fresh, although the scallops were frozen (but still great). The fish we had was so good that we were back the next day to buy our lunch.

Excellent shrimp at a reasonable price. Service staff was helpful and pleasant., Cocktail sauce was just zippy enough and fresh. Highly recommend. l

It's a little tricky finding the place at first, but keep going! Service was friendly, and the selection of shrimp (normal, large, JUMBO) was great. We stopped by twice during our visit to Ft. Myers to try our hand at cooking at home using fresh shrimp. The results were delicious! My son tried the Trico-made cocktail sauce & said it rivaled our local Indianapolis-favorite, St. Elmo's in spiciness. We'll definitely return on our next visit for more shrimp!
**You can special order deveined & peeled shrimp, but it you need place your order 24 hours in advance.

We also stop on every vacation to get fresh shrimp and have never been disappointed! There are a variety of sizes and always fresh. This year we got stone crab and that was tasty and fresh. I would recommend to go early to beat the island traffic.

More than just shrimp with lots of local fresh fish too. Prices are very reasonable. We shop here every year. We think this the best place to buy fresh shrimp. Large is priced at $12.95lb

We buy great shrimp at Trico. The boats come right to the dock and the shrimp are from the Gulf and are delicious!.

Come here for the best freshest local wild caught shrimp. This is what shrimp is supposed to taste like. No comparison. Sizes from medium to colossal. Great on the grill or they will steam them for you. Also have stone crab in season and variety of fresh local fish filets like triple tail, yellow tail snapper, sashimi grade tuna etc. They pack whatever you buy in ice for the ride home. Limited but excellent and fresh selection.

The shrimp were so FRESH and delicious we went back a second time for another 5 pounds instead of going out to eat. Our family group consists of 11 of us and they are the best shrimp ever!

If you want the best Pinks (shrimp), this is the place! Also, their crab claws are scrumptious! I continue to send gift certificates to my sister in Ft Myers as this is the most wonderful place to shop for GREAT, FRESH seafood!

Lived here 4 years, and didn't know about Trico Shrimp until we took a friend on a boat tour. Tour guide boated us by Trico and told us of its popularity. Stopped after the tour and bought fresh medium pink shrimp (which would be large shrimp at the grocery). Boiled them in Old Bay, and they were delicious. They had a good selection of fresh just caught fish. This is our go-to place for fresh seafood now.

Friends brought us here to get some fresh shrimp for dinner. We bought the headless large size and also snagged a bag of saffron rice. Too it all home and had an amazing dinner. Truly the best, freshest shrimp I've had in years.

Trico's has the best shrimp and you are buying it right off the boat. They have various sizes of shrimp and it is all great! They will package it for shipping if you request it. Wouldn't buy shrimp anywhere else in Florida!!!

We visit TriCo Shrimp Co multiple times during each vacation to the beach. It is easy to find, clean, and the seafood is amazing. If you're feeding a large family can be a bit pricey but, it worth every penny. It's still much cheaper than going out to eat and so much better. It's so good that you'll be craving more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you ask, they're more than happy to provide tips on preparing the seafood. I highly recommend shopping here for all your fresh seafood needs.

I drive there every week to buy fresh shrimp they have all sizes and if you like they will steam them for you for a few extra bucks Fresh Grouper and Snapper scallops and different dips fair prices

We had stopped by here on a walking tour and came back to pick up some of the beautiful pink gulf shrimp we saw. We picked up a couple pounds of jumbo shrimp to grill, added a little old bay and butter and put them in a foil packet on the grill. They were the most delicious shrimp I have ever had. The quality was high and we felt the price was in line for what we purchased. FRESH is the best word to describe this pink gold. I would buy from here all the time if I lived here. I might have to consider having some shipped.

Went twice during our stay in Fort Myers Beach. The shrimp and fish were absolutely delicious. I would also get their cocktail sauce and pick up a Rodes frozen key lime pie while you are there.
Prices and quality are not to be beat.

The most beautiful shrimp I have ever seen! Highly recommend stopping here for fresh seafood when in the area. We bought some shrimp and took them back to the condo and steamed right away......excellent flavor and nice size! There was also a nice selection of fresh fish and scallops.

We were in Ft Myers Beach for a week. We bought black grouper, red snapper, and shrimp from Trico. My husband loves to cook. It was all fantastic!! Their seafood is phenomenal!

Purchased fress seafood there several times. Generally very good, but one bad experience withsome peel and eat shrimp that tasted old and slimey.

Hidden away , under the bridge, we found this amazing place. Freshest seafood, soups and fish to go and great customer service.

My husband and I visited here on our vacation. We were allowed to go in the back where a ship was being unloaded. The captain, also the owners nephew, gave us a very interesting tutorial on the shrimping industry. We loved it and appreciated him taking the time to talk to us. We also bought shrimp in the market. They will steam them right there for you for a small fee. Great place to visit.

When I am in this area and buy my seafood from Trico. Florida pink shrimp, fresh grouper and Snapper, Stone crab, Florida lobsters and other. The store in very clean. You must try this place. Better price versus the area competition.

We stumbled upon Trico Shrimp Company one day while riding our bikes. Cars and trucks just kept coming in/out of the parking lot. Super prices. Don't go to the grocery store. Take the time and go to Trico - support your local fisherman. A bonus is the staff is super nice.

Unless you are fishing for it yourself, you won’t find seafood any fresher than here. Great selection! Everything from grouper, snapper, LOTS of shrimp, lobster and scallops.

Stopped in on our way out of town and picked up a few goodies to remember fort Myers's beach by. I cooked the shrimp for dinner and it was like I was back on vacation! Simple fresh seafood! Wish I would have bought more! If you buy nothing else here get the shrimp and garlic butter! Service was delightful!

When we vacation in Ft Myers Beach and want to purchase fresh seafood, we always go to Trico's. Their shrimp is amazing and don't forget to purchase their cocktail sauce. We also tried their stone crab which was very tasty. Getting hungry just thinking about those shrimp!!

The medium fresh shrimp were delicious! The crab claws as well, nice little place to visit. So glad we did! The prices are good for fresh seafood!

Bought a pound of the jumbo shrimp and it was just amazing marinated with lime juice and olive oil and a little old bay. They were reasonably priced ($14.99 a pound) with heads removed. Service was efficient and courteous.

Everyone knows the shrimp from Trico's is awesome. What some people may not know is they also have great fresh fish and many delicious frozen soups and other items. I just bought some individually frozen oysters and made the best fried oysters at home. The staff being super friendly and helpful is another plus!

My husband and I have been here several times since my last review. They are always busy but service and checkout is fast and friendly.
This time we got a pound of large shrimp (for a soup), a pound of jumbo shrimp (for a stir fry), and over a pound Ahi Tuna steak that I seared.
The shrimp is always the best quality that I have found in the area. The Ahi was very fresh and sushi grade. Absolutely delicious! We will return.

Everytime to come to Sanibel we always go by and grab a bunch of this GULF coast goodness to take home with us. After seeing this featured on the Discovery channel a few years ago we have been impressed with them and their service. This trip to Sanibel we flew instead of drove so they were able to package 10lbs for us, wrapped, wrapped and wrapped again to make sure we could get thru TSA without any problems. Happy to say we managed thru TSA in the Punta Gorda airport and happily arrived to our destination in North Carolina with no wet luggage. You cant get anything as mouthwatering and sweet as the gulf coast shrimp. We love the friendly service we receive every year we visit Trico Fish Company. AND... you will be shipping more to us after this trip. <3

We got a fillet of Triple Tail fish for dinner and it was good. They had a pretty good variety of items for sale including scallops, stone crab claws, fresh fish fillets and shrimp.

We bought jumbo shrimp here twice and the first time when we asked if the shrimp just came off the boat (we were there right when they opened); the counter person paused and said oh well those did and pointed to the sink. The other counter person seemed puzzled but bagged us the shrimp. We deveined and cooked the shrimp and it was delicious so no complaints. There were a few less than jumbo sized shrimp which was annoying as we paid the Jumbo price per pound.
However, the next day we went back and when asked if the jumbo shrimp was fresh off the boat - we were told the ones in the front case were but after a hesitation. The counter person proceeded to be very friendly but my husband thought he noticed she was not taking shrimp only from the jumbo size section. She kept chatting us up and he decided not to question her- however we had a large number of less than jumbo sized shrimp this time. Again we deveined and cooked the shrimp and it was delicious so no complaints about the quality but really annoyed to be taken advantage of by them. Must do this to the tourists! Not nice!!!

If you are looking for fresh seafood in Ft Meyers Beach, look no further. The shrimp boats unload right off the dock in the back of the store. Reasonable prices, exceptionally clean, and friendly staff.

This is not a place to eat, rather purchase seafood raw or steamed to take away. My husband & I stopped after work one day, purchased 2 lb. of large shrimp & had them steamed for additional $3 per lb (plus your choice of ole bay seasoning added). We also purchased their cocktail sauce. One container was enough for 2 people for 2 lb. These peel & eat shrimp were amazing. I’ve already decided I want some shipped to my home this year for my anniversary! This is a must stop for shrimp lovers!
Got jumbo shrimp here and it was some of the best, and obviously freshest, I have ever had. Worth going out of your way for or cooking vs going out to eat.
