A lot of breweries in the area only have beer and maybe a food truck or they let you bring your own food. Same for the wineries. I was surprised to see Vanish has all of that. Beer, wine, pizza, burgers, brisket, and ice cream. I'm sure I forgot things. Pac-Man. Start a tab at one location and it works at all the others. The grounds are massive. Plenty of covered space, outdoor benches, even a playground for kids. The beer is good too. You can get flights of 12.

This is one of our favorite breweries to visit when we are in the area. I love that there are so many seats to accommodate people (nothing is worse than showing up to a brewery and not being able to find seating). Staff and other patrons were friendly with our child, which makes it a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. The first time I had ever been out, there was music playing and corn hole games going on- it's just nice to have the place be more than JUST a place to drink beer.

A lot of money has been spent on this brewery. The beers are fantastic, (especially cherry blossom) the staff are great and the location is very beautiful. I love breweries and I go to two or three in different states every week - traveling the whole of the US/Canada. I guess you could say it's my job. But this brewery could have been one of the best I'd visited in a while, it had EVERY promise to be something spectacular, and it was.... but it was a big let down in the end from a customer point of view. When we arrived there was a birthday party and children were running around and screaming all over the brewery. We accepted it and hoped it would calm down, but even at the closing time of the brewery there were children still screaming and making the environment a very hard one to relax in. I was highly disappointed, and do not get wrong - I like children - but there is a time and a place. A brewery at 9pm on a Saturday evening is not one of them..... it ruined our evening and we even felt uncomfortable at the table as children played a game around us. Sorry to say it could have been the best but was a hard environment to relax in. Not what we wanted at all.... 3 stars.... thumbs down.

I have family that lives in Leesburg and they were excited to take us here as they go often. The brewery is huge! Lots of seating - indoor and outdoor. I had a flight because there were so many I wanted to try. The beer-mosa and the shandy were both amazing. I had 6 different ones and all were great. Plus the views are absolutely amazing - we were there around sunset and it was jaw dropping.

This place has awesome Beer, food and music. The atmosphere is great. The one downfall is TOO MANY KIDS! Why do parents think it is ok to bring their children to a brewery and act like it is a daycare. Tables were full of kids toys. A brewery is for adults. Kids should be allowed is supervised and not interfering with the adult atmosphere. Otherwise place has awesome beer and food. Great for ADULTS!!! Would have been a 5 if not for the over abundance of kids and their toys and unsupervision.

We were invited to attend a birthday party at the Vanish Brewery. Just expecting the usual assortment of beers, we were stunned as soon as we entered the complex that is larger than it looks from the outside. Not only did they have a large assortment of beers to choose from after reading a lot of labels on the wall next to the bar, but they had a wine section, two places to get a variety of food and different food trucks every week outside. It did not stop there. They also had seating in covered areas and outside, a clothing store and not to be left out a play ground for the kids. This was one of the best breweries I have been to. So if you are looking for a local place to get away and relax, you need to check this out. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely top-notch in every single respect, with literally nothing going against them.

Simply put: My favorite brewery!

TL;DR - It's worth adding to your rotation of weekend hangouts.

The atmosphere here is great and caters to a broad range of beer lovers. There are always couples, groups of friends, and families with young children that are each enjoying the spacious property in their own way without interfering or impeding any other person trying to have a good time in a separate way. It is dog friendly, but dogs are not able to go to every part of the property. If you bring a dog, make sure you have at least two people in your party so that one person can go into the main tasting room and bring beer/food back to the dog-friendly areas.

They have more than a dozen rotating taps to choose from and offer flights of six or twelve generous tastes that are easy to share amongst a few people. They've opened several smaller satellite bars around the property with a narrow selection of full pour beers, which is very convenient if they offer one of the beers there that you want. The flights are only available in the main tasting room. They started also offering wine in a separate tasting room, if you have non-beer drinkers in your group.

On the weekends, they offer food but the selection has been changing a lot lately. They used to have a broader barbecue menu and wood-fired pizza selection, both of which I miss (where did the mega nachos go?? and didn't there used to be mac 'n cheese??). On the other hand, they've brought in multiple food trucks to expand their food offerings, including an ice cream truck on occasion.

There are three distinct covered seating areas (two enclosed from the weather, one with live music acts on the weekends), a large number of picnic tables that are not covered or enclosed, and a kids playground area within a large fenced property. Don't let the idea of the kids playground put you off if you're not really into kids; it is off to one side of the property and I haven't seen the children's presence really bother anyone before.

In the past, the restroom facilities have been woefully inadequate but there was a nice restroom trailer on site the last time I was there. I don't know if they plan to install additional permanent restrooms or just have the trailer during peak season, but it does seem that they are paying attention to this aspect of the business.

At the end of the day, this is one of my favorite breweries in the area almost entirely because of the atmosphere.

My first impression: i was astonished at how big Vanish Is! We went for a birthday on a Saturday and Vanish does a great job at including all ages to their establishment.

Seating area: There is an outdoor covered area where a band was playing with plenty of tables. Outdoor seating in their fenced off field. And 2 bars, a main and wine bar. The main bar was air conditioned well for those who don't want to be outdoors and the lines for beer move surprisingly quickly!

There was an extensive list of beers, wine, frose and i believe wine slushies. There was face painting for the kids and what looked like a few good options (i didn't not eat there). Prices for beer are very reasonable - $6 per pint.

I love a good dark beer. I only like IPAs one there are a crazy amount of hops added...more the better. And I tire of breweries run just to get visitors to their area in the door & not pursuing good unique beer. That said, I hit the trifecta here for all I like! Happened on it after a work trip return down Hwy 15 to fly out of Dulles. Just saw the hand lettered signs id all & wanted a break. Quiet on a weekday afternoon but saw they have room & schedule for events & food trucks on weekends. I had a beer flight on a random Tues instead & a nice chat with a local who lives nearby. Yes, locals support the place too so it regularly turns out good beer & is worth return trips. I believe it. I tried an imperial stout, a milk stout, a triple IPA with honey as good as Dog Fish Head 120, and a dark amber plus double ipa. Every one of them tasty, especially the triple ipa. I saw at least 6 more interesting ones, but hey gotta drive...next time up its a stop again for sure.

Really cool place, lots of space and private event areas! Beer was really good too! Would've loved to have spent a little longer enjoying all they had there! Hope to come back!

I love to find new breweries and try them out. We had heard of Vanish and driven by it going north on Route 15 but never had the chance to stop. Finally made it and glad we did. Have been three times now. And great every time. The place is huge! Lots of rustic rooms that sometimes get so packed you have to go outside. But outside is great too. Games, live music, babies and dog are all welcome. I love IPAs and they have a great selection. Not a place that has just one. Must be a dozen or more choices of all types of brews. Plus if you’re not in the mood for beer, they have wine. Try the BBQ and the platter-size hot pretzel. Food trucks are outside as well. Saw people Bri go g a birthday cake. Others brought Doritos and dominoes. Great place for a party or a fun business gathering. If you like craft beer, and a casual, easy place, you will love this spot.

Four of us decided to give Vanish a try. Good choice! Excellent variety of beers. BBQ. Plenty of seating inside and out. Give it a shot!

By Khuna |

We visited spontainiously on Christmas weekend, though it was very busy, there was ample place to sit. The food selection was fine for a casual place like this, and the prices fair. Beer selection changes constantly, so I doubt a visit would ever get old. The family friendliness of this place is off the hook. Don't be bashful... grab the kids and your dog, make the drive and have a pint.

By Christopher U |

Stopped at Vanish for a visit on a Saturday afternoon. The place is huge, even somewhat cavernous. Plenty of parking and both indoor/outdoor seating. Sampled a wide variety of their craft beer. It was mostly pretty good. We didn't stumble across anything great but considering the relatively remote location, it's the best of what's available in the area. Will definitely stop back and try some more beer and food offerings.

By Happy Runner |

We were out for a day of local brewery touring and the main criteria was those that were pet friendly; this was one of them. We got a tasting flight of 6 and every one was fantastic. Nothing to complain about here. They don't serve food, so pets on leash can be inside in the climate controlled room (very nice for the sweltering Sunday we were there). There was live entertainment that was fantastic! We will definitely go back when we can spend more time. Next time it will be our first stop instead of the last one.

Was in Northern Virginia last Saturday and decided to stop by Vanish Brewery. We had visited during the week, but had not been on days when they were doing their fresh BBQ. I love their beer, but have also started a relationship with their BBQ. Discovered that they smoke and serve on site every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you are in the area, I recommend you stop by for a beer, and plan to stay for a tasty meal.

Came here for a private party and was not impressed with anything. Food was preselected by the hosts. It was set up at the bar, but with such a huge crowd it was a bad idea to set up there. Very limited access. Table buffet would have served the crowd much better. Most of the food was “ok”, some of it not even that good. They needed to set up more that one serving of each item for accessibility for a party of almost 200 people. The interior of the building where we were was absolutely freezing! Didn’t warm up the entire night. So much so, that some people kept their coats on, others, like me, found one of the few heating units and just stood by it. Beer and wine was available in a different (and also freezing) room. Beer was also ok, but I’m not a big beer person. Perhaps the other side where the actual brewery is might be better. Can’t speak to that aspect of it. Just a note: parking area is unpaved, and can be a problem if you have even the lowest heels on, or have had a bit too much to drink upon your exit.

By Webbuzzard |

We were there on a warm Tuesday in February. The beer was delicious. There were four corn hole lanes, about five dart boards, and two video game machines. But I didn’t see any other activities, such as pinball, board games, jenga, or trivial pursuit cards. Combine that with the large indoor rooms, numerous outdoor tables, playgrounds, face painting, and nail salon trailer, I felt it was too big and commercialized to be an enjoyable experience during peak times. It’s just not my idea of a craft brewery. Plus the wines were largely from out of state and out of country. While it’s nice that they offer wines for non-beer drinkers, I think they should partner with Virginia wineries and have an adequate supply on hand.

Don’t expect any food if you’re there during non-peak times either. Check their website for times when food is available. Don’t call either; they only have a message directing you to their website.

this place is really big! Good beers and good food, too! Indoor disc golf in the winter with a friendly crowd.

By magnoliaeleven |

We stopped here to check it out a little before lunchtime on a Tuesday in early June.

This place is located a little North of Leesburg, VA, which feels like the middle of no where which may explain the name Vanish. The rural area looks very beautiful with all the hills, trees, old farms and homes.

It was not very busy but immediately we could see this was a place to have events or group gatherings. The grounds are very expansive. I could even see them having live bands.

The brood of cicada's for this year were not shy. The sound emanating from all around was almost overpowering. We saw them flying all over the place and saw many dead on the ground.

There appear to be multiple areas to get food and drink. We did not attempt to partake in either but were very impressed with the venue. We wish we could have stopped when something was going on.

I want to the Octoberfest yesterday at Vanish Brewery, which is a very nice location with some excellent beers there. However, a few things were wrong with the event as it took absolutely forever to get something as simple as a pretzel (95 minutes) or even a simple brat that was already cooked on the huge fancy and completely over sized grill they had there, using about 1/5 of the grill space. Also, the bands were good but all they played was rock and no German music, which would have been nice if blended into the heavy rock music played there. Overall evaluation is fix the grill and food issues before next year as the owner was ill prepared for the food demand, even though there were not that many people in attendance.

By Sarah V |

The beer here is literally so average. I’ve been to many amazing breweries along Nelson 151 in central VA and am from northern VA originally so I’ve been to breweries up in Loudoun too. Despite the fact that the selection of beer here is large, none are particularly good. Nothing I wanted more than a small tasting of. Also, relatively expensive. Would recommend somewhere else around the area, do not make a special trip.

By magnumpi12 |

Very good beer selection. Live music when we were there. Oysters, shrimp, pizza and more. Lots of fun. Outside seating.

By DMN27 |

Interesting place close to DC area. The beers were great. Very crowded. Nice weekend trip for families.

By Ronnie513 |

A group of friends and family visited when we were in town for the holidays. Vanish has a broad selection of beers that they brew and you can sample those that sound good or enjoy a pint. They have a limited menu but the food is top notch. We enjoyed brisket sandwiches with our choice of bbq sauces. They were excellent. Looking forward to stopping in again the next time we are in the area.

By Lauren S |

Service was non existent. 3 people behind the bar would not make eye contact w us when our beers ran out, the pizza was good enough, the beer was good. They have so much potential w their huge space but the service made us reconsider going back.

By MPJ525 |

Stopped in for beer and some lunch on a Friday afternoon. Place is large with plenty of seating inside and out. Pavilion with tables, grassy area with picnic tables. Shady and sunny areas. Beer was good ordered a flight, these were the smallest tasting glasses I have ever had. Then we ordered the “classic burger” and fries. Again maybe this was a touch larger than a slider. Fries were tasty. They only take cards at the burger truck and they do add a tip to the bill, you can skip it if your paying attention and could actually see what your signing on the iPad.

By ttwins |

Large variety of beer choices. I’m not an IPA drinker so I was thrilled that I was able to try 6 beers that weren’t IPA’s. Also, there were several options for food. There was pizza, bbq, taco and a burger truck. Except for the taco truck I was able to go to any of the food locations and add the food to my open tap at the bar. When walking inside, it looked as though there was a place for families. At least I saw families outside. I would def go back.

By Mrbmist |

I like the barn feel of the place, reminds me of the old barn dances. We tried the flight of beer, out of eleven we only particular cared for one. Most of them were fruity and hoppy, not what I expected... for dinner we tried the Pork Nacho’s and were pleasantly surprised very nice. The Pork & Beans pretty much tasted like they came from a can — served at room temperature. Won’t have those again... overall an ok experience. Not something I would go out of my way to experience again.

The Vanish Brewery on the Black Hops Farm was an interesting and fun stop. They were nicely decorated for Halloween and have a huge and beautiful farmhouse brewery. The beers were all good with a nice variety of styles. We had the brisket and the ends were very good with an ample portion and some good sides. The pizza looked awesome but we did not have any.

By 3BOYS_and_us |

Stopped for a beer, and fill a growler. Great farm atmosphere. Dog friendly. Could not wait for the BBQ (Chef Voltaggio recipe) to be ready at 4 on a Friday but heard good things about it. If you are coming on a Saturday you need to get there before three if you want to get any of the meat. Always plenty of beer. Especially enjoyed their Double IPA.

By SylviaTourstein |

Used to be fun, with good beer, eats and entertainment but it has lost all its charm and all the good. This was once a 5 star for outdoor entertainment for a weekend with friends and family. No more, sad loss.

By Sara T |

We came here in the middle of the week which was okay but it’s better on the weekends when there are more food choices including pizza and pork and Mac and cheese. We did a flight of 6, some beer we liked and what we liked was delicious. Obviously. We will be back since this is our second time here. If you come on a weekend be prepared for loud and noisy inside, there is outside seating.

I always have the best time at Vanish Brewery! Great beer, delicious food and chill vibes. It is always a great day for beer at Vanish Brewery.

By Chris B |

I can't believe that people give this place any credit. First, their beer is average at best. With all the breweries around they certainly don't rank in the top 10 in NOVA. Secondly, the physical structures are basic and gives the feel of a run down farm. If your into this whole thing go to 2 SIlos, a MUCH better version of this concept. Lastly, the people are laughable. Spent two hours there on a crowded Sunday I saw nothing but white people who had their noses in the air thinking they were classy. Save yourself the drive and avoid this place, unless you live in Leesburg and moved there to be like and among their clientel, then you will love it.

By James M |

Drove down there from Frederick MD on way to Total Wine and More. Tucked into a farmhouse on 53 acres, it is a total surprise. Not only is there a ton of space, we listened to great music and had great beer. Get the taster flight and sit back and enjoy. TV's were tuned to the NCAA tournament. Will be back to see the outdoor spaces, which supposedly include a patio and corn hole. The food is fantastic. Will be back again soon.

By jlb464 |

If you enjoy daycare, waiting in long lines, and mediocre beer, you will love this place. Ive been to lots and lots of local breweries and never waited in line so long. The lines seem to stem from the multitude of flight offerings. You can order a 6, 12 or 24 tasting flights. 24?!? Pouring these takes forever, and they are popular. Unfortunately if you want a pint there is no fast track line. Bottom line the beer just wasn’t worth the romper room atmosphere and the long lines. There are too many fantastic breweries in NoVa for wasting time here.

By _mike_fortuna |

This place is massive. It is between a brewery and a huge farm. The food is really good, especially the pulled pork. Their is a beer for everyone, all different types for different beer lovers. The service is very friendy.

By Baker1085 |

We had lunch and a few drinks on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. They have numerous beers, wine and a few delicious sangrias. I had the watermelon rose sangria which was refreshingly delicious. There are a variety of lunch choices from BBQ, pizza and food trucks. We enjoyed the BBQ brisket with a side of beans and pulled pork with potato salad. The gigantic soft pretzel with cheese dip did not disappoint. It was warm soft and not salty plus the dip was good. There are many places to sit from indoor, covered patio, lawn tables. There's a kids play area and dogs are welcome.

By danielcockerspaniel |

Vanish brewery is a great venue with excellent beer menu and friendly staff. My issue is while I waited for our order at the burger truck I witnessed several well meaning patrons try to reward the hard working staff in the (unairconditioned) truck with cash tips, and the employees had to decline, reciting policy. This seems petty and exploitive.

By rick g |

Stopped in because I saw a listed that they had some type of a Disc Golf Course on the property (turns out that they do only have an indoor Disc Golf Putting League in the Fall/Winter) and was very very impressed at their beer variety and quality.

I had an Amber Lager that was really great and I took home a 4 Pack of their IPA and it was also just as good.

I hope to get back soon to try one of their burgers!

By lmanno14 |

First time at Vanish. I enjoyed the beer and was ok with the picnic style environment, but felt the service (for food) was clearly lacking. I approached a window to order food twice and stood there to be ignored until they decided to acknowledge me. The food was ok. But since I had to walk up and order and walk back and pick up found it funny that tipping was requested.

Not sure I would come back, much nicer placea to go in Loudoun County.

By RoseanneRosannadanna |

Hate to admit it, but I only came for the trivia game - which they have every other Friday night - but I'll definitely be back for more, and not just for the trivia. The chopped pork nachos were out of this world. We also had a not-to-be-believed pork/brisket pizza with a crispy, thin crust. Don't know if it's a secret or what, but I understand they have a pretty stinkin' famous chef. Oh yeah, the beer was good too, LOL. Don't miss this place, which is definitely off the beaten track.

By forrestb819 |

This brewery not only has a great selection of beers, the staff is really friendly and the food selections offered are great! This facility is a must see if you are in Leesburg. You will have a good time... very often there will be good live music.

By Deborah H |

Live music, laid back atmosphere, awesome brisket and beer. What could be more fun. A little hard to locate but worth it.

By Nathaniel M |

Everyone we asked said this was the one brewery not to miss. It's on a farm in a scenic part of northern VA. Beer was quite good. For food that have BBQ, and Pizza, plus there was a food truck on the Friday we visited. If you like craft beer this one is a must.

By skulig3 |

Beer was above average food needs help building has a lot of room and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly

By Mimi A. |

Great atmosphere. Wide selection of beers. Entertainment on weekends. Vert good Pizza and big pretzels always hot and tasty. Worth the visit for sure.

By Melanie V |

Came here for a card game event with friends. Staff were super friendly, the seating areas were very spacious. The food was good and nice vibe with live music. It is a bit off the beaten track from DC but I recommend.

By cf131 |

The beer was a hit and the bartenders very friendly. The food was not very good, especially at the prices. The mac & cheese was DRY and $7.99 for a large which was not really that large. Hopefully they are just working out the kinks and can improve.

By kyle w |

If you are looking for that place to get away. Vanish is your place! The beers are great and so are the people who run this fine establishment. I highly recommend this place especially on the weekends for BBQ and good music to go along with your beer.

By Maria J |

We loved the setting. Back country roads on a sunny fall day... What else does one need for a road trip? There was ample parking and at the time we arrived, it wasn't busy yet. The entrance was welcoming with fall decor (which I failed to capture on camera). Inside the tasty room was a huge operation with a small "swag" shop to the left, and some restrooms (which were snazzy in themselves) on this side. The bar ran the length of the right side of the large open space building...

...Overall, Vanish Brewery is a well run operation in a beautiful setting. The price of their brews and food is well worth the experience. With their large selection, you are sure to find a beer you like!

Did not plan to go here, did not even know it existed. We were in the area on a Sunday house hunting and needed a break and just drove on by the sign, looked at each other and said YEP! turned around and drove in. Lovely place. Actually it is located in Lucketts I believe which is a great little town in VA. Long driveway in, past an old historic stone house and the ruins of what may have been the stone base of a barn. The place was packed, we lucked out in finding parking, but it was a sunny hot day on a holiday weekend, guess it would be packed. Different areas to choose from. After we bought our pints (the American Ale I think it was) we headed to the covered patio area where they had live music. Lots of dogs! Very dog friendly and there were about as many dogs as there were people! BUT, well behaved dogs! Reminded me of pubs in England where dogs are always welcome. Save for being very annoyed at the woman at the next table giving her baby (yes, baby in infant seat) beer to drink, it was a very pleasant experience. We only stayed for the one drink as we had an appointment to see another house, but we both agreed that we would be back, for a longer visit!

By Brian R |

A large operation with lots of beers on offer (including a nice six-beer sampler you can customize), a variety of food options, and plenty of space for social distancing inside and out. Next time we'll know not to eat before we come.

By goldies3 |

My husband and I got here at around 2pm on a Saturday and the place was packed! It can be slightly bewildering for a first-time visitor. There are 2 different areas to get beers with slightly different offerings. I was a little surprised at all of the children that were there - they were everywhere! One of the areas had a lot of dogs in there. A band plays music in the larger hall - the area that has the most offerings. It can be a little chaotic when ordering at the "pint" line - it's hard to tell where the lines are. The flights were pretty cool - you could get huge boards with at least a dozen different beer choices. We were disappointed that they didn't have a beer I had seen online - they decided not to put it on the tap, but to bottle it instead. That said, the Abbey Dubbel and River Run Stout were good. We really liked the huge pretzel, but the pork nachos were just ok. If we ever return here, we'll come early; otherwise it's nearly impossible to get a seat.

Vanish has quite the selection of beers on tap and they are continually changing. Our party of 4 did a sampling of 12 beers and we still missed a quarter of the beer menu. There is a wide variety of beers to choose from including fruit based, IPA's, Lagers and plenty of other unique concoctions. The indoor space is massive with a giant bar and plenty of help to keep you filled. They also have extensive outdoor patios and a separate pavilion that was being set up for their Oktoberfest. They have pretty good German pretzels and beer cheese to accompany your beer. This place is family and dog friendly and we saw plenty of both.

By Rodney R |

Beautiful, nicely decorated place. Maybe a little too kid friendly. Should be limited to 5-6pm for kids. Had a flight of 6 beers and all of them were well done and tasty. Only other complaint would have to be the prices. Had to easily be the smallest flight glasses I’ve ever had and a flight of 6 was $18.00! That’s $3.00 each for an approximately 4oz taste of beer.

By ABStreff |

Tasting room roomy, but ceilings high & lots of echoes. Staff pleasant, prices fair and many beers to choose from nothing great, but not bad either. BBQ, waste of money! Had such high expectations from the Washington Post weekender review & the notorious chef. $30 got us 4 dried out ribs, 4 slices of biskret that was really only 2 after the fat was removed, beans that were over spiced with cumin & sugar, and mediocre Cole slaw. No, it was not late in the day..only 1pm so no excuse. Was good to get out of Fairfax...had a nice day exploring the area. If you are hungry save your $ and eat somewhere else.

By Christina H |

The beer and food here excellent. I would recommend this family and pet f as mily brewery to everyone.

By Sara T |

Our last stop was here, very commercial. I liked how could get food (the pork and Mac and cheese was delicious). We did a flight of 6, some beers we liked. I would come again but be prepared for loud and noisy (can sit outside).

What a great experience we had at Vanish last night. We took our son and his family for a celebration as it is their favorite brewery. The beer is outstanding. Great selection for everyone’s taste. The food was superb. We had the Mexican and it was the best in Virginia. The oven fired pizza was excellent too. The playgrounds for kids were a great bonus. They are well maintained and safe. The kids had a ball. We will return soon

By Darlene T |

There is a nice variety of beers. We had the 12 flight. They were out of 2 of the ones we really wanted to try - of course. The beers were just ok. We all had tater tots. They stole the show.

By Vanessa F |

We're from Texas and this is some of he best BBQ that we've had in the east coast. They have over 20 beers, with something for everyone. Family friendly spot. Enjoyed it!

By Catanya |

Ok on a road trip from Virginia to DC we came across this place and stopped simply out of curiosity. It was like rolling into the pearly gates! This place is on my must return list. I tried the Cab Sauvignon it was love at first sip. My husband the beer lover was thrilled with the beer selection. Yes we had a Vanish beer flight to heaven. I also enjoyed the beers. They do not the bitter after taste that I usual encounter in most local breweries. Ok the food needs its own review but lets just say I experienced the brisket sandwich and “I would eat it on plane, I would eat it on a train. I would eat it here or there I would eat their brisket it ANYWHERE! “ The soft pretzel was enough for three to share and my son loved the games. It’s it truly a place for all. They keep families happy! The service is friendly and welcoming. Louis our beer master was super helpful! This place is the backyard bbq you wished you hosted! But you don’t have to, they do such a great job you should just move your bbq to there then relax and enjoy yourself just because you’re awesome!

My wife and I dropped into the Vanish Brewery en route from Ottawa, Canada to anywhere warm. We were too early yet the Brewmaster there at the time stopped his work to chat, let us try some brews and canned me a 32 ounce Ghost Fleet IPA. The bartender arrived to set up and tried to help us as well. They get my vote and the Ghost Fleet was awesome. So good I stopped on the way north and picked up some of their fist 16 ounce cans of IPA. cheers

Really nice atmosphere and a cool place to visit. The beer I bought was for Xmas and I was able to try out 3 different kinds before I purchased a couple of big cans of local brew.

I absolutely loved my first impression of Vanish. The decor, the multiple rooms, the beer tasting and lounge area, the outdoors, the decor, and awesome beer selection! The flights were super cool, as they were served in a wooden board with the Word VANISH engraved in them!

The staff serving the beers were so friendly and helpful. They had great recommendations and fast at service. The reason why I have to lower my rating, was the nasty attitude from a lady with gray short hair who works there. She was absolutely out of line in her approach, and completely rude and disrespectful.

We stood up to gather our things as we were heading out, and she snapped at us for standing next to our seats. She then followed us and kept berating us that we were not allowed to walk with a beverage in our hand. She was extremely rude in her approach, and not professional at all. It's not like we were there getting drunk and rude, we were there with a 3 week old infant, enjoying a nice Saturday afternoon.

All that to say that her nasty attitude and terrible customer service skills, left a very sour taste in our mouth. There's a way to politely ask people to do certain things, and that lady needs to go back to customer service 101. I understand covid has changed the way we do things, but there's still should be some level of respect, especially towards nice and respectful patrons that encourage your establishment...

My husband, myself and our dog had an enjoyable late afternoon at Vanish. We found this place due to being in DC and growing weary of the traffic and overpriced parking options. Yes, a bit off the beaten path from DC, but it was big, open, and relaxing. The dogs are allowed in the outdoor section, where there are plenty of benches to sit and have a beer and maybe some food. There are games if you like, or you can just chillax. There is another section , enclosed where the bathrooms/bar is out- very large- that area is dog free. It appears they have a lot of events and there was a good mix of tourists and locals. I walked around the area , and the scenery is very pretty. My husband, is a certified beer judge, and admittedly a beer snob.... and his opinion was that the beer was ,"ok," nothing exceptional, nothing horrible. He said the BBQ was very good. In my opinion, breweries can take a bit of time to churn out exceptional beers, so my hope is that they just keep getting better.

WOW
Huge establishment with something for everyone.
Lots of outdoor space for kids to play, a great space for dog lovers and their BFFs, games, music, food trucks with tons of inside and outdoor seating.

Of course the views are amazing, service was good. So much open space you can’t go wrong. Beer fav is the Scottish Ale

At the suggestion of our friends whom we are visiting for derby day, we came here for beer and some oysters. Did a 12 flight. Not a bad one in the bunch. Grilled oysters were great. Binging the growlers next time.

My sister-in law took me to this brewery that was really out in the middle nowhere. It is a 52 acre farm that has been turned into a brewery. They also have BBQ available which was very good and a live band only on the weekends. Do order a flight of beers which they currently have about 15 to choose from. You can then which beer you would like to order in a full glass. Enjoy!

By Maria T |

This place has really expanded and the beers are great! It's dog-friendly outside and they have different areas to hang out in. I believe they have food but have not experienced it yet. Great place to go as a group, too. The largest flight is 15 samples...good to share!

By KLRF1 |

Huge place with something for everyone. I don't drink beer, but group I was with enjoyed the 12 flight option ... so fun to hear what everyone liked. Wine slushes were good. We all enjoyed the wide selection of food. There was also live music that was an added treat - especially for our group which was a wide age range - from 6 to 60+. And it's right near the Lucketts Store ... leave your husbands, boyfriends, etc here while you shop and then join them when you are shopped out.

By Lissy M |

Went on a Saturday afternoon with a group of friends and family. There’s lots of space for parking. They had live music and activities for children at different hours. They have a variety of food to buy and the beer selection is great. Definitely had a great time and will gladly come back.

By Mrbmist |

I really liked the Country feel of this place, it reminds me of our trip to Texas the selection of beer was good -- The Milk Stout was a surprise, absolutely delightful.

Overall a great experience, the staff was very knowledgable and friendly, I definitely recommend this as a good brewery experience.

By Vanillachan |

Came here with my brother for a cold one. Lots of beers on tap and the added bonus, you can bring your dog but not cat. They will even let you host your dog's birthday party. Large area both inside and out. They even have Pac Man video game. Enjoy.

It was a beautiful day for a ride in the country and based on the Washington Post BBQ review we headed out to BVQ Vanish in Lucket Va. Great open air barn with a fab guitar player hitting all genre and taking request. Essentially it's a craft brewery that serves BBQ on weekends. We ordered a sampling of beer with the help of the bartender. Great selections!
We both ordered St. Louis ribs with a side of mac & cheese and coleslaw. Sauces were available to enhance the flavor. The ribs were meaty and cooked to our liking. The sides were a bit dry.
If we were to return we would order ribs by the pound and two sides. This combo comes to less than two separate meals. All in all we enjoyed our day in the country along with ribs and beer.

By Yorka V |

We took the entire family for an outing here! You see the hops as you drive into the brewery. Flavors have an excellent combination and the atmosphere is conducive to small or large groups. Service is excellent as well as the BBQ they offer. Only down side is that they close at 8:)

By margaret f |

The brewery is located in a great location north of Leesburg on Rt 15. I really liked the set up you walk in and see the offerings of beers being poured that day and select your tastings. Then we found our way to a table and saw the menu on the wall and ordered some excellent barbeque! The table to our left were several boys playing board games that they have there for you to borrow and their parents not far away. It can be loud there but as far as activities the kids were well behaved. My husband and I have been there almost every week since Christmas. It's a great place to meet up with friends in a relaxed fun place with great beers! The staff is nice and attentive.

My boyfriend & I went to vanish on 6/6/20. A fight broke out between a bunch of local white guys that had gotten into it over one of the guys hitting his girlfriends at the table. The owners and employees of Vanish clearly knew the people in the fight and attempted to usher them out under the radar. As the main provoker (the one that hit his gf in public) was being escorted out, he attacked a Hispanic family that was minding their own business. AFTER he attacked the family the owners and employees let the instigator GO RIGHT OUT THE FRONT DOOR without getting ANY of his info so the police could track him down. Once the police arrived, the owners attempted to blame the entire fight on the Hispanic family. One of the members of the family had been knocked out cold and sent to the hospital yet they were the ones being questioned and blamed. The owners and employees handled this situation HORRIBLY and allowed an assailant to run free in some strange attempt to protect an unhinged domestic abuser. Had the entire field of people watching not stepped up to give witness statements on what had really happened, the family would have been arrested and blamed for the entirety of what happened at the owner's behest.

It was a disgusting scene to watch unfold. I will never be going back and I highly recommend that PoC be cautious if you visit this brewery.

If you’re one of those parents who doesn’t care to teach your children manners or care about the other patrons’ experience, this is the daycare/brewery for you while you drink and then drive your loved ones home afterwards.

On the other hand, there is a good selection of pretty good beers.

Wanted to get out "in the country" a little, and needed a place that was dog-friendly, so we checked out Vanish Brewery. Cool place, good service, and awesome beers.

Pros:
- Ample parking
- Ample seating (indoors and out; both covered and uncovered)
- Friendly staff
- Great selection of beers (most of which were fantastic, a few, not so much)
- Good range of tasting options (six, twelve, and eighteen 5-oz glasses - great for big groups)
- Dog-friendly
- Chill atmosphere

Neutral:
- Food was fine but nothing really to write home about
- Reasonable prices ($10 or $11 for BBQ sandwiches, $2 or so for small sides)

No complaints. Would eat here again and would highly recommend--at least for the beer.

By Karen D |

My husband and I went to the brewery today and this is by far the best brewery we have ever visited based on the selection, friendly / informative staff and the ambiance. Sarah provided excellent service while giving us the background of Vanish. Anderson gave more details on the brews to include the monthly beer cocktails that he carefully creates. Tommy and Joe were also most helpful in ensuring we received excellent service. We look forward to returning with other friends!

I enjoy going to breweries and getting flights to sample as much as I can. Vanish's beers made up THE BEST FLIGHT I can remember having, in recent memory if not ever. Just an outstanding selection and variety.

I asked a bartender for suggestions and mostly followed them. They were all stellar. The seasonal pumpkin inspired beer was a standout. Kolsch, and a cream Porter iirc were also great. I frankly loved each one I tried.

In addition to the beer, the view and back patio is gorgeous. I went in November so a bit cooler but we still enjoyed an otherwise sunny day.

Plenty of kids and dogs playing and running and around, and if I recall correctly, there was some sort of mini playground or toys for the kids. Gorgeous view.

There's a couple of attached food stands in the brewery that you can put on the same tab, food is pretty good. Had the nachos which were very good. The brisket was just ok, I wouldn't suggest it. Rubbery...

I wish it was a bit closer to home in Arlington VA... Would love to see more distribution to that area. But if you have a car or ready access to vanish, it's a can't miss.

My husband and I were on our way to check out some wineries off of 15 in Leesburg, on our way south I just happened to see a sign on a hill for Vanish and decided to take a quick detour. So glad we stopped! This place was great, while it is large there was plenty of seating options (both inside and out), more than enough staff on hand that was service focused and constantly moving, good beers, tasty wines and food options. We did try the giant pretzel with the beer cheese...it did hit the spot and a few beverages. I

We are looking forward to the next time we can visit again!

By Johnusds |

The awesome bbq food was a nice surprise. Went for he live music. It has a covered outdoor area as well as the large indoor seating venues along with a large open picnic area. Wine and beer with craft brews being the specialty. A good assortment of beer and it was excellent. LOTS of kids. This is a very kid friendly place, and it showed. No adults only area. Pets allowed on a leash. Prices were reasonable.

By Kate M |

My brother booked a family get together at Vanish. Great food and drinks and everyone was entertained! We had about 50 people and reserved the outdoor deck area. Perfect for all ages from toddlers to our great grandparents. Awesome day!

By B_More_Polite |

I like the large wide open space with picnic tables at least 10 feet apart from each other. There are several choices of food. They do beer and ciders. Everything we had was good - brisket, oysters, tacos, beers and ciders. There was live music. All in all a good place that I look forward to returning to. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is nothing stood out. The food was good but nothing I’d be sure to get again. The beers were good but there was nothing adventurous or interesting or standout. I think people will be happy and I’m planning to go again, I’d love to see them add a few more beer options.

By jscav |

Just tried their fat boy IPA and boy was it good. They have 3 lines; one to pay your tab, one to buy flights and one to buy pints. The wait was kind of long to get a pint or flight. It was worth the wait. I saw allot of kids/families walking around. It was crowded but plenty of places to sit. I sat in the pavilion type building with no AC. They have live music here.

By David W |

Go to Vanish Brewery quickly.

How many times can a 3,5 and 8 year old, their parents, grandma and grandpa plus Cruise the dog have a perfect Saturday of fun, food, face painting and a flight of beer.

Don’t let the drive to Leesburg VA frighten you - easy quick drive from Baltimore Md or Springfield, Va.

The kids played and ate then played again then ate (see a pattern) with the adults left with drinking a fabulous selection of beer, eating BBQ and sitting in the sun enjoying the each other.

Note: Cruise the dog received a lot of attention from the children and made a few new canine friends.

By CdninLoudoun |

What a great place to enjoy a picnic, beer, wine, and have fun playing in the sun. Vanish has a lot of space to enjoy the site when the weather is nice and it is kid friendly. My husband loved the beer options and even took a growler home. He wasn't really impressed with the burger from the food truck and expected that. My son had a kid's pizza which was good, but I was amazingly surprised at their delicious ribs. Definitely go for that if you eat on site. There is a playground, lots of green space to play frisbee or kick a ball, or relax under a tree. They also have an ice cream truck which is a nice treat during the hot and muggy weather we get way too often. Although you don't get the views that other breweries or wineries have in the area, they make up for it in tasty beer.

By Martha P |

Picked this site for an after hike beer, specifically because of the dog friendly atmosphere, and it was very dog and family friendly...beer is good not great, but that is ok...location has beautiful views...and large enough to not feel crowded...

By dennispQ1281SZ |

A really nice place…lots of interesting offerings and activities. The staff is incredibly friendly…the beer was first rate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VISIT!!

By Beth W |

Went for the first time last evening with another couple to Vanish. The beer was very good, the food (BBQ) was just okay/so so. The brisket was good, but the pulled pork was dry and tough, and the barbecue chicken was odd - very peppery, and not pulled chicken, but chopped. There were groups, couples, families with children...the atmosphere was very good, but the food was a downer. The music was good, but way too loud...we were shouting to have some conversation. Go for the beer, but don't sit in the main room if you want to talk. Maybe just do the nachos or pretzels and skip the barbecue.

By James C |

We’ve been going to Vanish for over 2 years and it’s always been a treat. The fresh beer and outstanding BBQ, but yesterday we ventured over to the brewery for some good IPA and BBQ. To our dismay, we learned they don’t serve BBQ ribs.....what a disappointment! Their ribs have always been the highlight of our food experience. So we ordered smoked brisket and their famous BBQ nachos. What happened? The brisket was very fatty and flat, but more concerning was the BBQ nachos. At $14 a serving, the old serving was plentiful. Lots of bbq pork, cheese and all of the other ingredients piled high. Yesterday was extremely disappointing. Almost no meat and very little cheese. I can honestly say that it was a ripoff.
Vanish! What are you doing? You have always been a quality brewery with great food and atmosphere. It seems you’ve relegated your food service to fair quality with bare minimum.
I’ll always come back for your beer, but the food won’t be part of my visit!

By Hollie M |

If you're headed through or staying to visit Lucketts in Northern Virginia be sure to eat lunch and get a few beers at Vanish.
The beer selection and fantastic barbecue are worth a stop so plan to spend a few hours here. Relax in a laid back atmosphere where craft beer is taken very seriously and barbecue compliments everything on tap. Enjoy beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views and NoVa hospitality. Chat with locals or leave wishing you were one. Open all week but only serves food Friday - Sunday.

By Denise T |

Really cute location out in the middle of farmland. Yummy BBQ and really good beer! Some folks had flights with 12 samples! Looks like a horse stable and just a really fun afternoon! Nicely decorated for fall as well.

By Heddy G |

Fun place to visit, would have been nice to go with a group. There was live music and plenty of food trucks to choose from as well as the regular kitchen. Good beers and friendly staff. Dog friendly which is always nice.

By RichAdvisor |

First time here so very interesting place—- really ready for a large crowd!! Excellent beer selection —- I esp liked the Waves!
I have to say though on July 3rd before a holiday, there should have been some kind of food service. Even simple pizza would have been ok, but ‘ nothing ‘ wasn’t ok. ( well pretzels were good). Had to leave earlier than we wanted to get some
Dinner. Too bad.

By Laura D |

We've tried to enjoy Vanish several times since they've opened and we just continue to be disappointed.

The place is HUGE. They've expanded a lot and there are several rooms and covered deck areas. The beer was ok, nothing special. The bartender was not at all friendly.

These things alone are enough to keep us from returning. Throw in the extremely family-friendly atmosphere and we're just done. There are small children running around everywhere. I don't understand the need to take your children to a brewery in the first place, but if you do, please pay attention to them.

There are too many other great breweries in the area to waste time/money at one that is mediocre at best.

By Emily H |

Made a few trips up the road to come enjoy the nice weather, great beer and beautiful views. Each time I have come the place has grown and is more enjoyable than the last. Beer is always delicious and the grounds are always clean. Only downfall is one beertender has been less than pleasant each time. It kind of ruins the vibe when you are here on a Tuesday afternoon and the only girl working has a less than enthusiastic attitude.

By Chris S |

I tooky wife here with a bunch of friend for her birthday yesterday. The singer actually sang happy birthday with us to her! Very cool place we will be back!

By Fantajan |

We visited Vanish on a Saturday early evening in July on our way back from Dulles Airport. We went on a whim and on the basis of the good reviews. It is quite the venue! There is lots of parking and several bars serving the brewery's wide range of beers. They have over 20 on tap that run the gamut from Saisons to Stouts, from IPAs to Sours. Can't decide? Get a flight and then take it to one of the outside tables. On Saturday afternoon they had two "stationary" food trucks - oysters and Asian "street" food. Neither are vegetarian friendly but Vanish also sells pizza, burgers, and bar snacks. They also had popcorn and ice cream on sale so the place is very kid friendly. Kids have plenty of room to run around while their parents enjoy the beer and live music. I have to say I wasn't blown away by any of the beers but there were a few decent ones in my flight. The bottom line is that Vanish makes for a nice outing.

By Tammy B |

While visiting friends in Brunswick Maryland we decided to go for a drive and explore some brewarys and vineyards. We stumpled upon Vanish and had a great time. We enjoyed the flights food and music. Even a little shopping. This place was great for families and fur babies too. Great afternoon!

By CarpeDiem45 |

I normally I don't like beer but Vanish was fun. Actually, I heard the food was good so we went and were not disappointed. The bbq was tasty and certainly plentiful. Large servings. Try the homemade pie. Enjoyed the large surroundings and the kids playing. Dogs even find a comfortable place to interact. Looking over the farmland was calming as well. They do have one area for adults 21+ and no dogs. Now the beer. I am no expert and have a difficult time deciding what I like. There are lots of choices that should meet anyone's taste. The smaller flight of 6 rather large glasses allows you to choose from their offerings of the day. For the "big boys," the normal flight has 12 glasses. Find one you like and then go get a pint or a growler.

By laguna5243 |

I'm not sure what if anything they could do better. Their beers are really good, their food is great and a real bargian, the place is large and the people are friendly. Inside is wide open and clean, there are a lot of tables and a large bar. There are signs hanging to direct you to the food or a place to get flights. Outside is really nice with more seating areas. I was so glad we finally made it there, and we'll be back. A really great place.

By Tiffany K |

We visited on a Saturday afternoon with our two young children. Even though it was quite crowded, there were plenty of places to sit. They even had Hula hoops that my daughter enjoyed. We got the mega flight and barbecue brisket. We enjoyed both- my only critique would be about the set up. You have to wait in line to order your beer and then a separate line for food. It took way too long to get our food & drink. I know they've only been open for 6 + months so I imagine this will be something they revisit. All in all, Everyone was friendly and we had a great time!

By S&R |

Given the vast beer selection and excellent pork nachos, I would have given this facility FiVE stars and then some, but given the fact I just witnessed an employee use the bathroom and leave without washing her hands, I’m totally disgusted.
Considering the Coronavirus is such a huge consideration and cleanliness in everything is currently being STRONGLY encouraged, I was pretty repulsed by the lack of cleanliness witnessed.
Such a shame, as I’d just commented I’d love to return soon.
By the way, a young man took extra precaution in wiping down tables while we were there, so kudos for that.

By manoj k |

Had a good evening yesterday!! Lot to choose from! Even food was good as long as you stay away from fried quesadilla!!! Pretzel was awesome!! Music was ok!

By vacation22 |

The Brewery is not set up to handle large crowds. The wait for a flight of beer was more than 45 minutes. The food truck wait was about 1 hour, 30 minutes in line and then another 30 minutes to get your food. The place is overrun with kids and there isn't a lot for them to do. You can't bring in any of your own food or drink so we saw lots of people returning to their cars. There was not enough staff to clean off the tables.

Everyone in our party was over 21 and we would not go back for this type of atmosphere. There was nothing, fun, relaxing or enjoyable about the trip. Maybe through the week it is different but not on a Sunday afternoon.

By David T |

This is a really cool place. Dog friendly, outdoor area with games. Really good craft beer. Food was pretty good. The place is huge. There were tons of people but you would never know. Lines were short or non existent.

The drive out alone is worth the trip. The added bonus is a decent reward at the end.

I'll be back and with more friends

By Mark M |

Definitely a much bigger operation and quite a bit of growth since we last visited. Very good beer with a large variety of options. Indoor facility is very nice.

However, my wife and I like to visit farm breweries for the outdoor element and the fact that they tend to allow dogs on the premises. We visit with our dog and 6 month old after a morning of hiking...and they allow smoking on their grounds. In this day and age smoking around children and pets is unnecessary. We quickly left.

My child nor my dog needs to be subject to secondhand smoke. We will not be returning.

By Laura B |

What’s good:
The brisket is insane, so so good. The pizza looked good too but we were full from the huge platter we had.
Great space. Just a neat place to go. Plenty of running around space for the kids, indoor and outdoor seating.
5 bars set up all around the property, which is huge. All connected through a main computer system. Start a tab at one and then just give your name at the others.
Pet friendly, met a lot of sweet doggie
Live music outside
Ice cream truck and burger food truck

What’s not amazing:
The beer. We did the Mega Flight. It was cool, came in a wooden beam. There were 12 samples for $33. Not one of them were amazing. When we finished we went over to the other building and got wine to walk around. We are by no means beer snobs, but there is really good beer where we are from.

I would definitely go back. The place is awesome and worth the drive! Give yourself plenty of time to take it all in.

By Audrey K |

We met up with friends with kids all under 13. They even had a kids night arts and craft event the kids hung out at for an hour Friday night. We had a great time and those who enjoy beer thought their flights were terrific. The food is good but it is a casual pace so do not set expectations for a gourmet meal. Wood burning over for pizza is yummy. On weekends they bring in extra vendors and food trucks. Including pastries seafood and burgers. Plus they had a Saturday yoga class! You can sit outside or inside. Outside there is a large really huge grassy area and a playground for kids. They have music too. It is well worth stopping here and enjoying yourself in a relaxed atmosphere. I wish I could be there during the winter holidays as I am sure the holiday spirit is amazing.

By Kelsey B |

Pros: You see the hops growing as you drive in and the parking lot is large. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was under an overhang and in the shade which was much appreciated. There were 17 beers offered, with two of the beers not available at the moment. We had mixed reviews on the beers we tried.

Cons:
Each tasting glass is $2-4 depending on the beer. We got a flight of 6 beers of our choice which was $19. I feel like this is way overpriced. They need to offer a flight with a set price like $10-12. They had live music and it was beyond LOUD. We only were inside to order our beers and I got a headache. I don't know how anyone held any type of conversation or how the bartenders worked in that situation. We sat outside and it was still plenty loud.

By Pyranhadoc |

Enjoyed a terrific flight of handcrafted beers in a beautiful open venue. A bit out of the way but well worth the trip.

By jehenson81 |

My friend and I visited Vanish after going to some of the best wineries in Loudoun. While my friend likes beer (I don't), we didn't go there to drink but to eat BBQ. The Washington Post had rated Vanish as the 8th best BBQ in the D.C. Area and I can see why. The place is made of two large open air area and we went to the side with the food and the big bar. They have to areas for food BBQ and pizza. The line moves fast and your orders are up quickly. I got the chicken with beans and my friend got the pork with mac&cheese (plus lemon pie). My chicken was a tad spicy but the sweet sauce helped balance that out and the beans were well doctored. My friend's pork was rich and well season while the mac&cheese was smoky. It was a great meal and a large portion.

The Saturday crowd skewed to the young family demographic - with lots of the under 5 set - but the large, noisy indoor space accommodated the empty-nester types, too.

Lots of beers, and a couple were exceptional. The BBQ menu is short but good. Nice pies.

A fun time.

By donnajs716 |

Very interesting place very commercialize
Couldn't find out a whole lot about the brewery food trucks pizza and bbq
Not sure if this place is always this busy or just because it's a holiday weekend. More for the preppy crowds.hubby likes the beer come check it out

By DfHRB |

Good parts - scenic setting, easy parking, and lots of space BEFORE 1 p.m.

We arrived at 1230 and Vanish Farmwoods Brewery was definitely busy. As the clocked ticked the crowds rolled in with strollers, toddlers, grand parents, birthday parties, and dogs. By 2:30 pm the food and drink lines were long and slow. By 3pm the place was at capacity and there way too many kids running around mostly unsupervised. For example, we had a foot ball crash into our INDOOR patio table from a gaggle of kids. Someone at another table who saw the mess called it Chuckee Cheese for parents who want a beer. Food was average, but the long lines for everything (after 1pm) (food, drink, rest rooms, and closing your tab) make the visit a grind. The craft beer was ok but not exciting compared to other local Virginia Breweries. BTDT will not return.

Tip - go during the week or before 1p.m.

By Gburgabe |

We visited Vanish after a trip to a local battlefield for a pint and they have a number of excellent beers. Food was good but best to visit if you want food on a weekend when food choices expand.
Been on a weekend too and food is fantastic. Highly recommend the beer flights

By Darren B |

Stopped by on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Absolutely loved the building and grounds. Very family oriented.
Food is good - pulled pork nachos were superb and the soft pretzel is as big as a steering wheel. Other people's brick oven pizza looked good.
Beer was okay. Interesting variety of IPA's. Not quite up to other Virginia brewery's, but still a really nice place to stop and visit.
Enjoy!

By David R |

We were in the area, staying at a local B&B and, and decided to check out the local breweries. We stopped in around 5 PM Friday evening and the tasting room was quiet, but the folks that were there gave off a fun vibe. We got a small flight and enjoyed 5 of the 6 beers we chose. We settled in for a few pints, a giant pretzel and finally made our way over the wood-fired brick oven pizza. They also have BBQ and a local food truck for more food options. Chris Compton was playing acoustic music and my wife couldn't get enough.

We enjoyed it so much, we are looking to rent the porch for our son's post-rehearsal dinner get together.

By RibEater |

We enjoy Vanish Brewery. It's a large space, plenty of room inside and outside. Limited food options when we went. A fun place to barhop or take out of town company.

By wrengirl |

To be fair, this place is not perfect. The main room can be a little loud. The outside areas can be a little cold in the winter. Vegan food options are almost nonexistent. But...
I LOVE THIS PLACE!
I hate beer, so it’s hard to find a place that makes my whole family happy. This place is it. In fact, when I leave NOVA, this is the place I will miss.
They have Sangria (3 flavors) and Frose’ that makes me very happy when everyone else is enjoying the many beers available.
They have the best pork nachos I’ve ever had.
They have music during the day. A playground for the kids. An area where dogs are allowed. Food trucks. Friendly staff.
I’ve been there with my husband and grown children. With my niece and her husband and baby. With my sister and her family. No one was disappointed.
Try it for yourself. You deserve it.
Thanks Vanish!

Unplanned visit after seeing the sign while driving down 15. Fantastic farm property with hops growing on your right side as you drive in. Large bar and seating area with views of the brewing equipment. Lots of outdoor seating and yard games available. Dog and kid friendly. Hop processing g facility in site. Worth the visit.

By Scottish05Lass |

This is the best brewery I've ever been to in Virginia! They have 20 varieties on tap all ranging from lagers, pilsners, and ales. They grow the hops right on the premises and offer tastes ranging from hoppy, malty, German style beer with refreshing fruity options for the ladies who may need a milder beverage. My favorite past beer had a nice tangy grapefruit twist that was excellent! So,with all these beers to choose from, you can't refrain from indulging and vanishing for awhile! On the weekends, if you like BBQ, they have that too for hungry patrons. I noticed they offered yoga on weekends and there's even some casual games the kids can play for entertainment. Very spacious drinking hall and looooong bar to sit and be merry!

Had my sons wedding rehearsal dinner there on June 17th. It was a hot night 90° inside the barroom we reserved with no ac . They managed to move us (Party of 48 ) into the room next door that had 3 ac units, They kept the bar open next door so we had to open the door which was no problem and kept other people from getting in to our party . Had a great time with a food truck from DC and beer was great.

We happened upon this place, when returning from Dulles Airport. We tried a flight, and enjoyed the two IPAs. HOWEVER, the joint is overrun with birthday parties, kids & babies. We visit breweries & wineries to relax & listen to live music; not to listen to kids cry. I don't understand this trend where young parents think they can tote their kids around to what is clearly an adult venue. Beer was good, but not worth battling the strollers.

Beer still good selection one of our favorites. But the brisket that brought me back over and over has seriously deteriorated. Maybe I’m in the minority but there was some super sized portions with lots of fat when they first started up, now only small dry portions. Super sad. Last two visits they assured me there was some fatty brisket, yeah, just no, they lied.
