This is a lovely place. We came for a wine tasting. There was live music and it was loud, so we asked for a quiet table. Service was excellent and wines were good. The grounds were very pretty.

This is a very interactive place as there is a lot to do and it is kid friendly. Their gift shop has a lot of neat and beautiful things and the bistro supplies a place for refreshments and seating. We did a tasting here and the wines did not meet my expectations. The goat cheese plate with a baguette loaf was really good. While the wines here are not for me, I would gladly return because it is a unique and homey place that is extremely welcoming to all.

Visited this cool spot while in the area and it was beautiful. The flowers were simply amazing, nice place to purchase seeds and gardening trinkets. Staff was nice and grounds were immaculate.

We visited Wildseed Farms on March 31, 2019 on a (very) cold morning. It was a very pleasant visit, however because of the winter chill on that week-end some plants in the nursery were somewhat damaged.
The farm has a very walkable area--but at that time, only the Corn Poppies were in bloom. The bluebonnets in the fields which we came for, were mostly in the early stage of blooms.
There is a very nice giftshop---full of garden/flower-related things. Not to miss! Also, there is a coffee-shop, where you can buy yummy peach-flavored ice-cream. The staff at the coffee shops were also very nice and attentive to customers' needs.
We hope to visit again, maybe the first week/second week of April will be best time to visit for the flowers/bluebonnets.

We buy our Patio Flowers, Plants, Pots and Decorations most every year from WildSeed Farms and also find very interesting Gifts for Family and Friends
They also serve light Lunches and have a Salsa Tasting Bar

One of a kind place, largest working wildflower farm in the world! Absolute must see!! April is known to be the best time to come see the flowers in full bloom.

Wildseed Farms is now automatically adding a tip to all purchases, even when the only service was ringing up a purchase of seeds. Checkout personnel did not advise a tip would be added nor did I see signage indicating a tip would be added. Also, I don't recall seeing a tip choice on the credit card scanner.
Again, Wildseed Farms personnel only rung up my purchases but a tip was still added.

Its a nice place to look plants and walk on their trail with flowers around and take a lot of pictures .. just a little restricted we can not go close to the bluebonnets there is a fence.. but its ok i was able to get nice pictures

We love Wildseed Farms. We were there mid week so it was very quite. We enjoyed a beer and wine sitting next to the water fall. We don't have a truck so we just enjoyed viewing the beautiful flowers, plants, and of course the gift shop.Very, very nice.

Always a great place to stop with friends from out of town. Beautiful flowers spread out over 20 acres. Lots of photo opportunities.
Food and drinks on a limited scale. All sorts of gardening paraphernalia and seeds.

Bought a whirligig and some seeds - beautiful place to roam around and get gardening ideas. We’ll be back

I would only return here later in the Spring when their fields are blooming. The store was overpriced (as was the small place to get food and drinks) and there are plenty of better garden stores in other cities.

We almost didn’t stop here, but I’m so glad we did. It was really fun to see some of the native wildflowers (and buy some to take back to Oklahoma where it’s the same type of weather!). Seeing the large field of wildflowers, plus watching them trim and work in the vineyard was really interesting too. Highly recommend, particularly if you’re into gardening!

I’ve been here multiple times over the years but was a little disappointed this visit. Maybe it was because it was September and too dry, but it was not near as pretty and colorful as in the past. Nice gift shop. HUGE seed selection for gardeners.

Walking Trails are just a loop road around the small fields of cornflowers, cosmos, poppies. The Lemon Mint fields weren’t open. Brewery/ Deli, Winery, Walking Trails and Nursery/Garden Shop. Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden are small, but the remaining 200 acres are where the true migrations move through. TIP: Buy some seed ($16) and spread it in your neighborhood.

A huge meadow of lavender in bloom, some poppies were still blooming and blue, purple and cream colored flowers galore! A fun store to shop in and great ice cream!

It might be due to the drought, but there is nothing to this place. Yes, they have plenty of plants for sale. So do many plant nurseries that are a stone-throw away from where I live. The prices here were a tad too high in my opinion. Yes, there is a small field where they have some wild flowers growing, but it is forgettable. Some of the other fields are filled with dead plants. Sad.
The prices of the decorations are absurd. Who pays that much for talavera??? I was also shocked to see how much the food products (the jams, preserves, etc) were. The olive oil, which I have had before, was insanely expensive. You can get organic EVOO imported from Greece and Italy cheaper than what these people are charging.
I am sure the grounds are nice to walk around when things are in bloom, but this time was a bust.

Stopped in for a visit on a cold January day. I am told this is a good spot during the growing season. Lots of flowers and other plants. Many for sale. Large gift shop with many quality items
Not the typical tourist trap. Very nice facilities including wine tasting and food. Good stop during our visit.

This is a designation in itself. We so much enjoyed seeing the poppies in bloom along with the wildflowers/Bluebonnets. Can't wait for the other season's flowers to enjoy. Very beautiful nursery with lots and lots to choose from.

We LOVE visiting this beautiful farm, with it's seasonal flowers, friendly atmosphere, and abundance of seeds and plants.

Wildseed Farms is such a happy place. This visit the fields adjacent to the farm were covered with red poppies. Just glorious. So many treasures in the shop I could stay there for hours. Unfortunately hubby was along and we had to make it a quick 30 minute trip. I think a trip to Fredericksburg is not complete unless you visit Wildseed Farms

We walked up to the nice farm-like structures that seemed very inviting. But the parking lot was nearly empty only 2 weeks before Christmas! That made us wonder if it was even open...it was. But, now I see there was a good reason for the lack of customers.
I cannot downplay how cheap and terrible the tourist souvenirs and other items they sell are...rooms full of them. You would think in Texas there would be an effort to bring in at least some quality goods Made in Texas or anywhere else in America. The stuff is all mass market and nothing special. I guess you probably can find cheap gifts there but the quality...meh.
The section with the food products was disgusting. A few samples left out uncovered. We tried to have some peach/vanilla swirl ice cream cones. They cost 4$ plus tax...each...and we had to throw them away almost immediately. If you knew us you would know for sure that we have never had to throw ice cream away before...ever. It had crystalized and was icy, not creamy or milky and totally flavorless. Just like throwing a $10 bill out the window of the car.
=====
The best things about Wildseed are their gorgeous flower fields in bloom in the Spring/Summer and the seeds they harvest and sell from the flowers. For that alone I would give Wildseed 5 stars. They should up the quality of other things they sell too.

If you can restrain from taking over 100 pictures, you grew up without a cell phone. The masses of wildflowers are lovely but not as much as the Willow Drive where the wildflowers are part of the landscape. The paved path through the wildflower gardens is easily navigated in a wheelchair. The one drawback is that there is no one around who knows wildflowers; there are no guides or docents or other experts who can answer questions.

Blue Bonnet fields, fabulous nursery, and great wine tasting. Free entry. Ample parking. Must see in Fredericksburg, Texas

Very neat experience with beautiful flowers. We were too early for full blooms but it was still a cool experience. Very knowledgeable staff when it came to buying seeds.

Total Disappointment. Have been many times in the Spring and Summer. Made a special trip to the Farm in December thinking it is Christmas, Right? There were No Small Evergreens, No Christmas Greenery, No Amaryllis, No Christmas Cactus. There were very few plants, only a few succulents and plants in need of tender loving care.
The gift shop was nice.
Will spend my time elsewhere next fall/winter

Our ladies group visited the Farm in late March, some bluebonnets were blooming. John Thomas gave us a great talk and everyone enjoyed meeting him. We then had a wine tasting and really liked his wines. We all left with gifts, wine, seeds and plants. We were a little early for most of the wild flowers but we knew that might be the case. Texas has not had the spring rains it needs to bring out all the color. The gift shop had lots of interesting things to see and buy. We left praying for rain.

This location has free on sight parking, is handicapped accessible and is both a garden center and gift shop. You can purchase wildflower seeds for all regions of the US here. You can view amazing fields of blue bonnets when in season. You can purchase plants for your garden or flower beds. Restrooms are on the property, clean and accessible to all.

We really enjoyed our short time here walking around. The weather was not cooperative and we had to cut our trip short but we will be back.

You can find anything gardening related in this place. Loved the flowers and I must come back when the fields are in peak blooming season. This is a fun place to visit.

Excellent laid-back atmosphere. The sweet wine tasting was absolutely perfect. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Thanks, Leo.

We went as soon as they opened in the morning and it was kind of drizzling rain. The flowers were very pretty especially the poppies. We were there 4/23/2019. We would have enjoyed it more if it was sunny and we could have had a beer or wine.

We visited Wild seed farms on the way to Fredericksburg. Definitely worth a visit for wildflower seeds, bits and pieces etc. They even have a vineyard since my last visit ten years ago. Great for kids.

We stopped on a whim and found the most beautiful items and great plants available. We left with great gifts and wonderful lavender plants and seeds.

This is an adventure. Wildflowers are everywhere. You can see the farm from the highway so you won’t miss it. There’s a beautiful field with acres of wild flowers, seed packages with planting instructions, and the well designed grounds have garden carts to pull items for both your home and garden. I was bummed I didn’t get to enjoy the inside due to a large cat (very afraid of them) posted at the entrance and several more roaming around inside.
A large vineyard in the rear with shuttle pickup in the parking lot with an inviting nature trail in the backyard. Someone took pictures for me.

For our first morning in Fredericksburg we had decided to split the morning by going to the Wildseed Farm and the Texas Ranger Heritage Center (in this part of Texas almost every town will have some sort of Ranger museum). The Heritage Center was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday so the Wildseed Farm got our full attention. We were a week early to have everything if full bloom - but there was still enough to get the full effect. I was especially impressed by the field of red poppies a memorial for WWI.

My family and I really enjoyed the Wildseed Farm. Although not everything was in blume, it was very beautiful to visit. I recommend visiting a couple of times during the year to see all there is to offer.

I visited in mid March and despite the dry winter and early spring they had lots of fields of flowers as well as a lot in pots for sale in their outdoor and indoor stores. A great place to buy seeds as well as all kinds of Texas themed nick nacks.

Most wonderful trip! German food was delicious, Artisian Villa was wonderrful, and wildflowers beautiful!

So beautiful! Trails to walk through the fields with great photo ops and beautiful flowers. See an array of Texas wildflowers, take the tour bus for the vineyards, do some shopping and even buy supplies for your own garden. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. There are restrooms on site too. I recommend stopping and taking a stroll on the way into or out of Fredericksburg. I will definitely be back.

This is a lovely place with cute shops indoors and a variety of plants outside! We enjoyed a quick, light lunch from the cafe and ate outside by the gardens! I’d love to return when the flowers are all blooming! Everyone was friendly and accommodating!

Always a fun stop when in the area. Lots of flowers for sale, beautiful gardens to wander around, usually something blooming in every season (spring is best), Has a nice gift shop and a snack bar serving a couple of different sandwiches, chips, cheese and meat trays. Although they are several signs indicating alcohol is served, they do not have a current license. They have a number of outside tables under shade, and it was quite pleasant even in late June. Also offer bottled wine from a number of wineries and salsas from various vendors. The butterfly area was especially fun seeing over a hundred float among bushes planted to attract them. Can be busy on weekends, was not crowded during the week. Restrooms were clean.

Helpful and polite staff, beautiful plants, TONS of seeds and a great gift shop. Love the fields of flowers and some trees were changing color which we don't see in our part of Texas. I'll have to visit again in the spring. I bet it's even more beautiful.

Nice store and good wine selection, and of course lots of plant selection if you are looking to enhance your landscaping. But the biggest draw for us are the incredible fields of wildflowers during the Spring. And 2024 is an extraordinary year for wildflowers. The fields of poppies and bluebonnet were extraordinary .

This place can't be missed. It's a gardener's happy place. You can purchase seeds native only to Texas as well as other seeds. They also have full grown plants for sale, a lovely array of garden gifts and local jams, jellies, sauces, etc. I love to shop here for specialty gifts to send to friends.

Beautiful displays of wildflowers and extensive collection of seeds and garden "stuff" (more ornaments than serious tools, but still fun). Great selection of plants, and beautiful grounds.

This place is great for all! I love plants but my wife, not so much... but she didn't mind going here though because we also did a wine tasting. All their wines are also very enjoyable. The new wine tasting room is nicely designed and very big. The grounds are beautiful with huge fields of wildflowers. They also have a walking trail, butterfly garden, ice cream shop, and gift shop with plenty of unique things. We both had a much better time than we even thought we would. Highly recommended

We visited Wildseed Farms for the first time and I have a feeling it won't be our last visit. The facility is huge and we didn't know where to begin. I entered the gardening area and it was absolutely amazing, there were so many butterflies buzzing from plant to plant. The Lantanas and Bouganvillas were stunning. The next section was yard decorations, anything from wrought iron planters to wind chimes to anything to decorate your yard with. We ended up in the air conditioned café where we rested and had a snack. If you're a plant lover like I am then make it a point to stop in and visit. There are 2,000 acres of nothing but wildflowers and they will be in bloom beginning in april...a sight to see!

We visited in late May, so unfortunately the red poppies and bluebonnets were already gone. But, there was a small field that had a few other types of wildflowers blooming, and they were really pretty. We also saw some butterflies flying around.

We visited in late March and there were lots of bluebonnets and a few poppies. Perhaps there are more flowers at other times. The retail area is quite large and has many beautiful things for purchase.

Just a beautiful place to stop and smell the flowers. Lots of plants to see and buy. Stroll thru the butterfly garden. Lots of wildflower seeds for Texas, (of course) but for all parts of the U.S. by geologic areas. Also lots of nic nacs, ie. Wind spinners, baskets, bird baths and other yard art. Also an eatery. Also a wine bar for tasting, and buying. Hard to leave without a lighter billfold. Lol

So much to see here. It's over 100° pretty much every day, so I'm sure it's not easy to keep anything alive. Yet, somehow they manage. There weren't fields of flowers like my previous visit, I'm sure due to drought and extreme temperatures. They still have lots of options for both indoor and outdoor plants and decor. Worth the visit.

I love this place, organized, crowed, excellent customer service and all wildlife flowers around the areas!!

We have visited Wildseed Farms in the spring for years. This (3-30-19) is the only year that they did not let you in to the mixed flower area. Usually they mow paths and you can take pictures of your children and the flowers or closeups of the flowers. Perhaps they will relent!
Also nothing seemed to be planted in the fenced in area in the middle that usually holds a variety of flowers.

This has been a rough year for wild flower viewing due to drought conditions. The wild seed farm offers the best meadow of blue bonnets and poppy you will find around Fredericksburg at the moment. So if only for that it is worth a free look. We also went to purchase wild seeds of certain flowers. We found the seed collection of the blue bonnets and poppy ample but not of the other flowers we looked for. Though if you want an assortment of wildflowers they do have sacks of seeds to choose from.

My two out-of-state daughters and I stopped here one morning so my NY daughter could get some good wildflower pictures. We didn't really know what to expect and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We started with a light brunch, checked out the gift shop, and then strolled around the path taking a million pictures. So glad we stopped! A great way to start our day.

What a great and beautiful place and that is In September, we can’t wait to come back in the spring. They have an amazing selection of wildflower seeds and are very willing to share their knowledge to help you make the world a more beautiful place.

The beauty of what Native Americans treasured and nurtured is in full bloom here in Texas, that is during the season. Off season , attention is given to you about any questions you have about plants and seed. Not only for a plant lover but for all.

We have been here many times, and are always surprised at the variety of items. Their fresh deli is a great option when you have ate all of Fredericksburg's heavy meals.

First, I hate to give bad reviews, but this has to be said after all the wonderful things I’d read. We arrived around 3pm one day last week and were hungry because we’d been on the road and had missed lunch. We entered the Biergarten thinking we’d get a nice lunch. Not. How silly of me to think the sandwich would be deli quality. Not. I ordered a turkey/Swiss. $8. It was pre-made and the quality of something you might get in a gas station. Two slices of white bread with a slice of cheese and a slice of ‘turkey’. Wow. And my glass of water was 50 cents. What a rip-off. I expected tourist prices, but I also expected quality.

Unfortunately most of the wildflowers had already bloomed when we visited. But we still had a good time looking at the few flowers that remained as well as the large gift shop and nursery. They also have a small ice cream / snack shop, but we didn't try it.

Great gift shop with unique items. Very Texan! Special items for self, home, & garden. Great customer service.

The first time I have ever reviewed a place, but I felt compelled to warn others. I went to the "Wildseed Farm" today, Saturday March 23, the fields of wildflowers are non-existent, absolutely a joke, some may say the late freeze affected their crop but just go to Willow City loop and you will get one heck of a show, and I am sure Willow City experienced the same cold temps. Wildseed Farms was a waste of time, one good thing is I can mark visiting China off my bucket list, going into the retail store I don't think they had an item in there that wasn't from China except their overpriced seeds. Go to Willow City loop if you want a wildflower show.

Unfortunately we didn't check before we visited in mid September but it would seem the farm had just mowed all of their fields and there were no wildflowers that we could see. We didn't stop as that was the main reason we were visiting. There is a large shopping area and other things to do.

Can only imagine the sights when it is growing season in Texas. Extensive seed shop inside and a cute gift shop. Looks to be a nice restaurant and outside patio during the warmer days ahead. Worth a stop,

Great place to pick up seeds and pots. Staff was great. Large selection for all parts of the country.

This was a pleasant nursery to visit. Since we were travelling, we were not interested in buying any plants, but did enjoy walking around, and especially enjoyed the butterfly garden.

Wow great place, walking winery, shopping, local produce and jarred fruits, veggies, yard decor, nursery of plants, butterflies, seating everywhere , you could bring a picnic, very little in bloom March 5th, we will be back!

Our 3rd Annual Spring Trip to Wildseed Farms and we will keep coming back! Great Wine tasting, beautiful flowers, walking trails and a fabulous gift shop! April & May are the best months to come before it gets too hot.

It was great, until the busses arrived. I bypassed the tasting room and there were too many people, for me. I'll go back on a week day and see if there's an actual plant nursery in there, somewhere.

Amazing! So many options here! Seeds of many varieties, decor and much more! You get totally immersed in the calm atmosphere, naturally yearning to take a slice of that home.

The flowers here are beautiful and it such a relaxing atmosphere. We bought some seeds and enjoyed walking around and looking at the plants. Worth the drive! Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I stopped by in order to take a break. I drove from Houston. I really enjoyed my break here. The admission was free. I walked around the farm. The flowers were beautiful. The restrooms were so clean. This was a great oasis.

Well worth the stop. This place has wildflowers growing, they sell wildflower seeds. They sell an assortment o f jam, preserves and salsa (and you are allowed to sample them as well). They also have wind spinners and other souvenirs. While walking around also look for the humming bird feeders.

Pleasant place to stroll & explore. Only a blue bonnet field in bloom, too early for much more. Fun shopping for canning novelties, seeds & wine tasting. Bought some of each to enjoy later. Everyone was knowledgeable & helpful. Would have loved to see the wild flowers in bloom.

The farm has over 200 acres of wildflowers with trails to walk about, a small shop to purchase seeds and other items, a butterfly garden and a wine tasting room. My sisters especially enjoyed the Wildseed Sangria while I had their Albarion White... delicious! Given these points I could not think of a better way to spend several hours enjoying the scenery and wine.

They have a gift shop as you enter, then you can go into the nursery portion and on out to the gardens where they have many different flowers. They also have fields of wild flowers that are very nice. They also have a wine tasting room and another area where you can purchase beer. There is also a covered area with tables and chairs where you can sit and have a drink while waiting for others or just to have a peaceful few minutes.

Many long time Hill Country travelers are aware of the 200-acre Wildseed Farms location along highway 290 towards Fredericksburg. As one of the largest working wild seed farms in the U.S., it has always been a must stop destination for visitors. The latest expansion of this business is now a vineyard and winery. John and Marilyn Thomas started this dream with about 28 acres in 2015 which expanded to 42 acres featuring 13 varietals of grapes. Coming from generations of farmers, this next step seemed only fitting as they ventured their feet into the growing Texas wine world. An additional 12 acres of vines were added in 2024, so this is quite a burgeoning vineyard. Many HWY 290 wine travelers may remember Wedding Oak tasting room being located here for a while. With renovations and an expanded tasting room, Wildseed wines officially has its own tasting room to call home.
Wine production began in 2019, and their own label began popping up in 2021. Dabs Hollimon, from the former 1851 Vineyards days, has assisted with their launch as a wine consultant. Their fruit is currently sourced from both the Texas High Plains and the Hill Country AVAs. There are plenty of different wines to sample on their lengthy tasting menu, so make your flight selection and prepare for some fun as you sample through some interesting finds. The 2022 Oaked Albariño was the first varietal to sample. This white wine has light oak notes with touches of pear and lemon and a nice tropical sensation to it that you will find very enjoyable. The second wine sampled was the 2021 Trebbiano. This classic Italian varietal had some good minerality to compliment the apple and lime notes. For the Rosé wine, the Primrose was sipped. This Texas Hill Country Mourvèdre Rosé was a beauty with a sweetness on the nose but smooth and dry with notes of melon across the palate. Venturing into the red wines, the 2019 Sangiovese was sampled next. This Texas High plains AVA sourced fruit poured a light red hue in the glass with notes of plums and cherries. The second red to taste was the 2021 Aglianico. This Hill Country sourced wine is one mighty red featuring bold cherry notes, great acids, and a good finish. A wine worthy of pairing with a nice Italian feast. The last red to try was the 2018 Tannat. This mighty bold red wine was from their beginnings and is full of rich flavor and mouthfeel for those bold red wine lovers. As an extra treat, both the white and red Sangrias were sampled. Made fresh, you cannot go wrong with all the lush fruit and vibrancy that either Sangrias has to offer, especially on a warm day.
With the extra-large tasting room, outdoor patio seating, and great hospitality, there is much to savor and enjoy during a stop at this winery. Enjoy all you can, walk around, and take in all the magic that this hill county location has to offer. You will be pleased with their wine selection and should be able to find a few new favorites to take home like we did. Cheers!

People were so nice and this place is beautiful. We didn't get to do the wine tasting but hope to the next time there

I have been visiting Wildseed Farms for more than a decade. In recent years they have added a cafe and dining areas as well as more shaded areas to sit. The fields of wildflowers are beautiful, but their nursery plants that are for sale have declined. The plants looked significantly worse than those that are for sale at my local HEB grocery or Wal-mart. They are also hugely overpriced. A Knockout rose in a 5 gallon pot is $39.00 at Wildseed. At my local nursery, the same plant is $13.00. Go visit, buy seeds, see the wildflowers, but go somewhere for plants.

This is a pretty place to visit. They have sitting outside, little restaurant, gift shop, taste room. Sam that waited on us in the tasting room was AWESOME!!

THE supplier of wildflower seeds in Texas! Beautiful property and huge array of decorative items. And seeds! Whatever you need it’s here in a variety of quantities. Delightful visit though very crowded with visitors.

I enjoyed the poppies and bluebonnets in the front. I have always wanted to see those two flowers together. My only disappointment was that the bluebonnets were on their way out.

We came primarily to feast on a beautiful farm filled with flowers. However, most of the fields are picked and thus the farm is half barren. It has a large gift shop with lots of souveneirs, a small restaurant/pub, and a picturesque butterfly garden.

We're from out of the area and needed help selecting the seeds for our area. It's like a country store with seeds, house items, and canned fruits and preserves. This could be a 3 hour adventure with the kids. Plants to see and landscape enhancements.

A very pretty afternoon spent shopping, sipping wine and looking at flowers. The crowds were a lot but we enjoyed sitting listening to live music with a glass of wine from the Wildseed Farms label.
Well worth the stop.

We went in the latter part of March where the bluebonnets were in full bloom in surrounding areas of the lands, but not much was blooming in this farm. We were told another couple of weeks it would be bursting with bluebonnets. It did have bluebonnets blooming, but not full yet, but other locations in the area were in full bloom, so not sure the difference. Still, everything is nicely laid out and a nice place to visit. It was worth going, just not as big of a crop as I had pictured it to be.

We visited during peak bluebonnet season and we were not disappointed in the display here along with the Indian paintbrush and other seasonal flowers. Lots of garden items and seeds for purchase and wine tasting was a bonus.

While we were too late for the bluebonnets we enjoyed our visit immensely. You can see the beautiful field where the flowers grow and we did see some Blackeyed Susans and the new winery they have planted now. Inside is a gem. There are beautiful gifts to be had along with many varieties of books and seeds. They have a very nice restaurant where the ice cream is wonderful and they also have a wine tasting room. We were there on a Sunday and there was a man in the wine tasting are that was playing his guitar and singing. We enjoyed that with our wine and ice cream. We could have stayed all day.

This was on my bucket list!! The popy field was just beautiful, the bluebonnets were so pretty. All the wildflowers here made this a great place to see!! The tasting stations to try all the jams, jellies and salsas n dip were nice, and the peach ice cream delicious!! I loved this place!! It was a little pricey but worth the trip!!

We buy seeds from them every year and are just surprised on the germination.
No other source we try has the success ratio.
Thanks Wildseed!
And don’t miss the salsas and other stuff in the gift shop!

This location is known for wildflower seeds. They also have a very nice gift shop, plants, and other items for sale. There is a store where one can enjoy ice cream and other snacks. Wine samples are available. But make no mistake about understanding the main draw for this location, plenty of seed to buy.

I love to visit Wild Seed Farms when I’m in Fredericksburg! As a butterfly gardener I have learned so much about planting flowers from seeds. I always have good results with these seeds. The bonus in visiting of course are the bountiful wild flowers! There are plenty of photo ops!📸🌸🌺🌻🦋

Great place to walk and shop and the display of flowers is impressive. Everyone very friendly. Sad to see tourists trompling the flowers despite signs. If you buy seed, be sure and ask about proper planting times. Lovely selection of salsas and spreads. Wish they still sold beer.

What a beautiful sight! The red field of poppies was absolutely outstanding! We were very pleased with the farm and the vineyard as well. Great place to visit.

This is a nice giftshop - nice, not great. It is an average nursery - flowers don't look like they are raised here and their arrangements of potted and hanging baskets are uninspired. The wildflowers are the only real draw and they are so so too.
Prairie Nursery in Wisconsin has far better wildflowers and offers a much greater variety of flowers too. If you are a plant lover and in the area stop in, because you will look at all the reviews here and want to stop - but be prepared to leave in 15 minutes empty handed.

We visited in mid March and we were too early for blooms. This is an awesome garden center with gifts, a restaurant, and a wine tasting. However, we were visiting to see the beautiful blooms of Texas. Looks like an awesome place and if we lived in the area I'm sure we would visit often.

This is my second visit to the Wildseed Farm. I love visiting there. One of the men in the wildflower area gave me good advice about purchasing flower seeds.
Fun visit!

I stop at Wildseed Farms whenever I am in the area. I am never disappointed. From the sales areas to the wine tasting to the gardens to the peach ice cream I enjoy myself. It looks like they are moving a bit away from wild seeds toward grape vines and I hate to see that. There are lots of vineyards in the area and I would hate for them to lose their uniqueness.

Flew past it and decided last minute to stop. Has some typical touristy stuff, but great seed collections and sizes to buy, plus walking between the fields of flowers is colorful

Only two fields were in bloom but they were magnificent. Nice people inside. Should have relaxed and had a beer. Lots of seed, plants, and garden equipment for sale.

VERY fun place to visit even though it was pouring buckets of rain part of the time we were there! We got our prayed-for reprieve while out taking pictures of the grounds, then it started in again! The red poppies were gorgeous and the staff said that the weather had kept the blue bonnets from doing well this year, but since this visit was near the end of our trip seeing friends in Texas, we had already seen a LOT of blue bonnets, so we just enjoyed the store and the grounds around it! Well worth a visit!!

We had a great little visit to the farm and bought some seeds to bring home with us. The grounds are kept well and had a cute gift shop to stop in.

We did not have any wine. We walked around the grounds and took pictures and did some shopping there. Nice place, good walking area, pretty flowers.

Unfortunately, we arrived in Fredericksburg about three to four weeks before the wildflowers bloomed. Texas weather can be tricky so they have a website that gives updates on what is blooming. The Wildseed Farm had a lot to offer: wildflower seeds, knick knacks, live plants, pottery, windchimes, and canned fruits, vegetables, preserves, etc.for sale. There atmosphere did not disappoint. There was live music with plenty of covered seating and trails through the wildflower fields & butterfly garden. It was still beautiful!

Stopped by in late April, 2019 and really enjoyed wandering around looking at all the plants and flowers. There's a nice gift store as well and we spent a good amount of time there as it almost came a flood. The rain started after we arrived and soon turned so heavy you would think it was monsoon season. It finally slowed down, but we had to walk through water up to our ankles to get to the parking lot. We spent about 30 minutes in the snack shop eating ice cream and staying dry so no complaints there. Definitely worth a stop when it isn't raining!

Part gift shop, part nursery, part gourmet foods. Nice place to pick up made-in-Texas food items for those people you left back home.

We stopped here on our way to our Fredericksburg mini-vacation since we knew several people who took a day bus trip here. I don't know what they might have experienced that we didn't, but it was just a big shopping experience with an ice cream shop attached. Nicely done and a nice place to walk around, but there has to be more that we didn't get. The parking lot is emmense.

Toured site as part of a group with Fredericksburg Tours. Very interesting tour as the Farm is slowly getting into grape production to supply local wineries, 50 acres of grapes so far. Awesome tour!!

Wildseed Farms has everything. Flowers, shopping, eats, wine and beer. It’s also a great first stop of the day as it’s at the beginning of the trail from Fredericksburg and opens at 930. A big storm had just rolled in so we didn’t get to explore the gardens much, but we appreciated being able to shop and drink while it passed.

Don’t miss this stop. It is so beautiful and the walk through to see all the flowers is so peaceful. Grab a glass of wine and take a stroll. Then stop in the gift shops for souvenirs and seeds to take home for planting.

This commercial farm sells seed perfected in the fields here. April brings blooming red poppies-thousands of them- dedicated to Joyce Kilmer's poem of WWI . But ther are the other spring flowers in bloom like blue bonnets. The seed are alive in the farm fields outside the well maintained and stocked store here.

Our group of 11 did the wine tasting! The wine was great and the service was awesome!! The shop has a wonderful selection of books, wine glasses, and of course wildflower seeds native to Texas!

It was a bit windy and cold, but a nice brisk walk thru the fields was very pleasant. We came home with lots of seed packets.. already planted a few🌻

My wife and I have been going there each year for the past 6-7 years. It was a great place with beautiful butterfly gardens , fields of poppies and seasonal plants. Great outdoor music and good food and great merchandise selections for outdoor living. We were so excited to go after pandemic. But when we arrived what a disappointment. The butterfly garden was overrun with weeds, dead plants and trees and totally unkept. The store had about half the normal inventory and just a small selection of plants. We did not spend a dime there and usually it is $100 or more. The fields were all unplanted just dirt. Will not be back.

We will head back there next spring but we were disappointed this trip. My guess the vineyard is a nice addition to the plants but the fields were dirt and some burned up black eye susans.

Had to stop when we saw the fields of red poppies. Bought some wild flower seed and poppy seeds and potted plant. Great place.

Yes, I need to get political here. Wanted so badly to love this place, but at the entrance are some stone carved markers for sale - for garden or marking graves etc. Large and prominent were 2 that said, God Bless America- MAGA. I am not a supporter of this man, I knew than and there I couldn’t support this place. Admired the gardens and left. I KNOW I am in the heart of Texas, I am touring here from California. Sorry, this ruined it for me.

It's August and it's HOT so not a lot of wildflowers growing so not sure this would be a valid review during peak wildflower season. We did take the free walking path through a small butterfly garden and a few wildflower patches which was nice. The wine tasting area was open. The gift shop has nice inventory. This could be a quick 1 hour stop at the most and it's free.

We really enjoyed the grounds and all the blooming plants we saw here. We had a wine tasting and everything was so nice. don't forget to visit the gift shop, there are a lot of instresting things to buy or just browse.

The red poppies and bluebonnets were amazing. It's a must visit site and walk the fields. There is live music, wine, beer, and food available. I note they have planted a vineyard since our last visit. I expect they will be making wine like the other 20 or so wineries on 290 between Johnson City and Fredericksburg.

Love the place, beautiful flowers and lots of seeds. The gift store is amazing and cute but pricy. Just on the way to the entrance of Fredericksburg so it’s ideal to be there as first stop.

We visited March 14, 2023. Blue bonnets were blooming and they were gorgeous. We have lupines in New England but a different variety that withstands the cold winters. We enjoyed a late afternoon wine tasting. Staff knowledgeable and food was good. Gift shop very nice and we all purchased seeds to take home.

No visit to Fredericksburg is complete without a visit to the Wildseed Farm. They have a great variety of gardening related objects and seeds, as well as potted plants. Beautiful property. Love visiting in the Spring when the fields are filled with flowers. 🙂😊🙃😍

Spent a morning looking round , it has a very nice gift shop . Very interesting looking round the wild flowers. A gardeners heaven so much to see and buy, shame we couldn’t have taken more home with us to the uk .

I was very excited to be going to this at the right time of year. Sadly because of the bad freeze we had the flowers had delayed about two weeks. I could see the plants but no blooms. the store and all areas of plants for sale is great to browse. Lots of flower gifts and seeds.

Its not just a farm, its a vineyard, a farm, a ranch, and gift shop. They sell all kinds of seeds, food, wine, ice cream (have to try the peach one). The flowers were amazing. They did a good job maintaining the garden. Absolutely loved it.

This place is beautiful if you enjoy wildflowers, perusing a plants, and watching hummingbirds. They have a sweet boutique of garden wares and seeds, soaps, and other garden themed decor. The property has a winery and eatery. We opted for the winery room and was a little thrown off by the service we received. The host seemed to be bothered we wanted to come in and drink wine. Then, once inside (which is beautiful) it continued to be awkward when we had to ask for a glass of wine and if they served food. In that area they offered a charcuterie board, hummus, and some other light selections which was perfect but again it felt like we were the ones having to ask for the information. We ordered everything at the bar and there was no waitress after that so we passed on ordering a 2nd glass. However the food was perfect and the view quite pretty. I would only recommend this winery as a quick stop but not some place to spend any length of time at. I wish I could review it separately (I would rate it poor for service) but the farm itself is awesome and so were those employees. I’m not sure what the disconnect between the two might be.

I could have spent all day here. The fields were full of beautiful flowers and the decorative gardens full of butterflies, koi ponds, bridges and walkways. The gift store had wonderful products reasonably priced and the seed store had the best selection of wild flowers, cosmos, zinnas etc. they also have a nursery with several species of plants, and a deli, bar and ice cream counter. Don't forget to pick up your seed catalogue with how to tips on planting.

Been here many times. It's really a great place to stop and rest for a bit, even if you aren't interested in wildflowers. They sometimes offer homemade ice cream, and the coffee is honor donation. Best gift shop.

We bought enough seed to plant at our 25 acre place and had a fun time tasting treats they sell as well. Great stop on the way back from Fredericksburg.

We hit the wildflowers late , but it was not what I was expecting.
Trails do not go far, weeds in the outdoor nursery area everywhere. Understand the help shortage. It felt like a stop for bus tours

In the era of social distancing I found this little gem in Fredericksburg. Beautiful gardens to walk around with benches to sit and enjoy. There is a butterfly garden and even a koi pond. With the Covid laws in place, we had to order food in order to drink a glass of wine. No problem, the peach wine with cheese and crackers was a great!!! There was shopping inside and out. We easily spent 3 hours strolling, drinking wine, and shopping. We noticed many activities for children, even though ours is grown. Here’s a hint: They open at 9:30, and didn’t get crowded until noon. Can’t wait to return in the spring!

A great place for gifts and plants. The gift shop is awesome with unique items plus you can purchase seeds there. Outside they offer a variety of plants and garden art in a well kept area. They also have a field of Blue Bonnets and Indian Paint Brush which were in bloom. A truly spectacular site. A must stop if in the area.

This is one of those places that the gardener needs to know about. They grow wildflower seeds and do a great job. The place is a bit pricey but what the heck. If you want advice they are pretty good and they know their stuff. A place for a short education in wild flowers.

We started a wildflower garden at home with seeds from Wildseed Farms; and now have a flowering area rich with nectar for pollinators. It’s a fun place for tourists to roam and browse, or a place for the serious gardener.

This is the largest wildflower farm in the United States. It offers a vinyard, fields of wildflowers, a nursery, beautiful gift shop and cafe on site. If you are in the area, this is a must-see attraction! $5/per adult for the fields, $4/seniors.

Largest display of flowers, plants, seeds and fun goodies, all for purchase. The wine tasting was a bonus with a view.

My wife and I visited Wildseed Farms to enjoy the wildflowers. Unfortunately, we missed the Texas bluebonnets by a few weeks but did pick up some things in the nice giftshop. Lots of other wildflowers though.

I didn’t purchase anything this time, but it’s still fun to see what is there. They have home Decor, wild seed , a boutique for the ladies, a cafe for grabbing a small bite to eat, and of courses, tins of lovely plants.

Even if one is not into gardening, this is worth a stop. Had never visited a seed farm before and it was even more impressive after I got home and read the catalog I had picked up.

So much to see and enjoy and BUY! Wild flower seeds, unique clothing, jewelry, wine accessories and good selection of wines, outdoor metal sculptures!!!

There were not many flowers blooming at this time of year but the folks were very friendly. My husband bought some wildflower seeds to plant next spring. We were told March/April is the best time to visit.

We opted to stop and visit here after learning of the farm through TA. It was a good call and a lovely spot. Wildflowers were beautiful and the shop and grounds were enjoyable. I would recommend others to pay a visit.

We went there expecting to see a lot, but I guess we came during the hot summer and there's not much flowers. Anyway we walked around and there were still some nice stuffs inside the showroom. They also have clean restrooms there. People were friendly. Need to revisit during the right time.

Lots of wild flower seeds and home and garden knickknacks. Could spend a lot of time here looking at the various plants. Also sell local honeys, jams, etc.

We were pleasantly surprised to run into John and hear his incredible story and journey. We came home with bottles of wine and will be back.

In the heat of August, of course, there are no fields of wildflowers. However, for gardening enthusiasts, this shop is well stocked with gift items, seeds, and information.

Great stop for the gardening enthusiast. Opportunity to purchase seeds for your area, as well as all kinds of garden needs. Also, a small market with local jams, sauces, and foods. Tasting and snacks available.

They have a good selection of wild flower seeds. Not a lot growing outside in August. A very nice plant nursey and garden accessories.

I love Wildseed farms and I have been here several times, but today when I came the older lady with blonde hair and glasses who serves the peach bellinis in the back food and wine room was EXTREMELY rude. I came in a group with my girlfriends and she yelled at us about having to get chips and carry food around with us with our bellinis. We fully agree and applied to the rules but she could’ve have served us in a kinder manner. I have been here before and everyone is usually kind. Everyone in my group commented about how rude she had acted towards us. I will be back, but I hope to have a kinder interaction.

Great place to buy seeds and plants. So many varieties, staff are so knowledgeable too. Nice gift shop too. They have a wine tasting area, but we did not do that.
We did have a wonderful chicken salad sandwich in their brewbonnet cafe. The dark wheat bread was very flavorfu,l and the sandwich was loaded with chicken salad. We tried one of their peach ice creams later and it was oh so delicious. Nice outdoor or indoor seating.
I would love to come back and ride their tram around the property when everything is in bloom.

I thoroughly enjoyed our resident tasting at Wildseed Farms. Compared to other wineries in the area, they are newer to the game having only been in production for about 4-5 years. In that short amount of time, they have become a leader in growing some unique grape varieties and have produced some award-winning wines. I would recommend making a reservation for a dry tasting and trying to get Stewart as your host if possible. The tasting room also offers a nice accompaniment menu with fruit, cheese, and other complementary charcuterie offerings.

Lots of poppies, a butterfly garden, flowers and garden decorations to peruse. A nice place to wander around and shop.

They have a little bit of every thing. Clothing, bird feeders, bird feed, very large selection of seeds, wine tasting, plants, pottery. All quality things.

This was a fun stop on a girls group trip to Fredericksburg. We stopped to oooh and aaah over the beautiful flowers. Lots of good pic opportunities. There is a store where you can purchase seeds, clothes, home decor, jams etc. They have a small area you can purchase peach ice cream and other goodies. I definitely plan to return.

I ate lunch there Friday. I bought a turkey and cheese sandwich on white bread. There was no lettuce, tomato or dressing on it…just plain. Two thin deli slices of turkey and 2 slices of cheese. $8.00. No chips came with it. Fountain drink was $3. Soft serve ice cream $5.00. Very unsatisfying lunch. They were out of a lot of food and it was noon.
I picked out a plant and took it to the cash register. When I got home, I noticed they put a tip on the bill automatically. For what? Ringing up my purchase? I carried the plant to the register and then to the car. Won’t be going back.

Loved walking around the beautiful grounds and taking some great pictures. The store wasn't really our thing, but just being able to enjoy the scenery outside was more than enough.

As we were driving along, my wife suddenly says to “go here”. So I pull in to Wild Seed Farms. It was a nice stop with a very busy gift shop, wine tasting room, and a large area of bluebonnets in full bloom. I had no idea that there would be such a nice place along our route.

The outside area is fun to walk around, but the inside store is full of stuff that looks exactly like the kitsch sold at Cracker Barrel, except more out of date

Great place. An oasis on the outskirts of Fredericksburg. Super friendly staff, who are wonderful people. Can't say enough great things about this place!

This establishment has thousands of blooming flowers in their various seasons, but also sells seeds and things for the house.
There are things for the folks who aren't much into flowers, such as cold beer.

if you are really into plants and enjoy flowers this is the place for you otherwise there is not much to do, There is a picnic table in shaded area, I think they allow outside food, They also have a restaurant & wine tasting

Honey Stop The Car!
Don’t miss this treat in the Hill Country that’s just a few miles north of Beautiful Fredericksburg!
February was too early for all of the beautiful bedding flowers and vegetables, but the gift shops and grounds are always a delight!
Don’t miss trying the famous peach ice cream and if you’re lucky enough to go when they’re sampling wines, try them!
The fields of wildflowers are coming soon and I think it’s going to be a great year for the fabulous bluebonnets
Check out the wildflower seeds!

My husband and I enjoyed Wildseed Farms for the very first time today. It has a mixture of everything: plants, wine, butterfly gardens, and vineyards.

We went in the off season so the fields aren't in full bloom. But you can get the idea that it would be an amazing sight to see in the spring!
Lots of outdoor goods to shop through in addition to seed varieties.

Although in August there were not many flowers blooming other than sunflowers it was still a cool place to stop and shop. We bought wildflower seeds, and a variety of herbs. The store has a great variety of gifts from Texas.

Best place in town to sit, relax, and enjoy a Peach Bellini in the outdoor gardens! Live entertainment is usually provided on weekends. Stroll through the amazing butterfly garden...such a beautiful and well-maintained habitat! We always make this one of our stops when in town!

Until stopping here, did not realize how easy to cultivate wildflowers. Also, a weath of educational information and great prices.

Beautiful flowers, trees and Texas native plants! You can buy seeds and plants, view the grounds, have a beer or ice cream Plan to spend at least 2 hours.

Summary:
Parking is free, but not shaded
The butterfly Farm is currently free
We went there mid Monday morning and the location had a steady flow of people there
The gift shop is large and varied, including seeds to purchase
There are trails to walk and there are numerous plants to find by walking outside.
If you like plants this is a must stop

It's now spring and they have tons of spring plants. Today they had a guitarist playing in the afternoon which gave a relaxing feeling to our wanderings. Their selection of pots, plants, seeds and outdoor decor was fun to see. They have wine tasting, snacks and gift shop to browse when you're done with the outside items. There's a nature walk and seasonally a butterfly section that gives you time to meander.

We decided to stop here at the end of the day because we both love gardening and wanted to see what they had. Excellent selection of seeds and wildflower packages for the various zones in Texas. They were covering up the outside plants when we left due to the cold evenings but it looked like their racks would be full of unique plants in February and March. Great place if you love plants. They were working on the wine tasting area, but looked like it would be nice as well.

I’d recommend checking out this place! It’s free and you can see all types of different flowers and plants for sale.

We visited with my brother’s family and had a very nice time. Beautiful spot filled with flowers and plants. We each bought a glass of wine to sip as we walked around (with fun glasses you can keep). Nice selection of wine. We bought quite a few seed packets.

Absolutely great place! Beautiful and has so many things to see! Wildflowers galore! Kiddos decorating pumpkins and had face painting available! Loads of outdoor decorations to purchase, walk in a vineyard, great parking, food available..just a great visit! Take an hour and enjoy!

Great nursery, wine tasting, and cafe, and a wonderful boutique! You will find the neatest gifts and stuff in the store! Don't miss it!

There are shops and other places to sip wine on the way, and in Fredericksburg. The Wildseed Farm is great for seed packets. That is what makes it unique. They have so many! If you can't make up your mind you can order online later. It is also lovely to see blooming wildflowers, which you can also see driving around the Hill Country. They have food and a relaxing area to eat. We tried the peach ice cream, which had a good flavor, but was more of a frozen dessert than creamy. They have a good sized nursery. If you haven't much time to do your Fredericksburg visiting list, take care to check which days the museums are open and you can tuck this into your schedule after you've seen them and/or Enchanted Rock. We arrived at Wildseed Farms at 5:30, and they closed at 6:00. It was plenty of time for us, since we're not real shoppers... just quick lookers, (did buy a little trinket) and we didn't want any wine. The red poppy field and the Bluebonnet were beginning to noticeably bloom April 2. The website will tell when full bloom expected.

none we ever purchased lived! The staff is helpful, the plant beautiful. They have added foods, both for on site consumption and to take home.

I thought I remembered from previous visits that they had a big field of bluebonnets. I was surprised that there weren’t any. The field of red poppies were absolutely gorgeous! Everything was blooming and really gave me spring fever! The gift shop has fabulous gifts and were quite reasonable. Enjoyed our visit.

nice shop with interesting items for those into gardening....but not worth it to go to far out of your way for....anything there is on the internet

Such a neat place! We enjoyed the bluebonnet blooming and walked through the flower trails. Although there wasn’t much blooming, it was quite and peaceful to walk around the area.
There is lots to shop for, dine, and drink. My wife and I enjoyed our time and walkthrough the entire place. This place is family and pet friendly.

Had a wonderful time here beautiful flowers and a large variety to purchase seeds or plants. The butterfly garden was amazing I hope to recreate a small one at my home.

The poppies were delightful😊!
There were bluebonnets and other wildflowers along the trail but most were not in full bloom yet.
Their store has an abundance of Fredericksburg products. Their nursery is full of plants, wildflower seeds, garden and house decor for sale.
I salute them for honoring US Veterans🫡, and I salute🫡🫡🫡our Veterans!!!

This is a beautiful place with friendly staff. They are able to answer your questions and more than happy to give suggestions on what you might have done wrong in the past. Fun place to see.

Not much to this place. We saw a few bluebonnets and some fields of red corn poppies, but it was a disappointing visit. The gift shop was OK but not great. We didn't eat there. I thought there would be lots of trails and scenic views but it seemed rather barren. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit there.

Great place to purchase Native Perennial Seeds for your garden, landscaping and most importantly to establish habitat for wildlife including bees, butterflies & birds. They sell wildflower seeds in packets by species such as Bluebonnets. For wildlife they sell mixes of many seeds based on the area where you live.
In addition, the shop sells locally produced canned items including jam, salsas, seasonings, etc. Lots and lots of various garden decorations, pots, etc. By The end of March and later, stop here to stroll though the plantings to enjoy the many flowering plants.
They also offer free wine tasting with varieties from several area vineyards. In addition, they provide a light menu of sandwiches, soup, chips, etc. Wine and Beer is also available by the glass, including beer on tap. There are many tables & chairs to sit and enjoy either inside or on the outdoor patio. The area is very casual with backround music. We really enjoyed our experience. Thanks, June Taylor, for your excellent customer service!

Lovely bluebonnets & poppies in bloom at our visit. Great for photos. We enjoyed getting seeds in the gift shop and eating at the Brewbonnet Cafe. The chicken salad sandwiches were great and we ate outside. Lots of paths to walk and see the flowers and take photos.

Wildseed Farm has something for just about everyone. You can shop for wildflower seeds of all varieties, clothing, unique decor. Outside are plants and garden decor. A lush walkway takes you to see various wildflowers they have planted. Head to the cafe where you can sample food items to buy. They offer a selection of wines. Finish up your visit with their soft serve peach ice cream.

Just a beautiful place. We were here a little early in the year to see all of the beautiful blooms, but I have passed there in April and it is jaw dropping beautiful. Great gift shop, tasting room and local jams, jellies, etc... A must see when in the area.

This is a relaxing, fun stop with casual dining options, wildflower and home decor shopping, and nice views of wildflower gardens.

Come for a wine tasting! The wonderful service and vibe. Enjoy the view of the flowers . vineyards. Get a tour if you can. Most interesting story and background. Owners and staff, just first rate humans. Must experience if in the area.

Five or so miles out of town, toward Johnson City. Right now, stunningly beautiful field of red poppies. All kinds of color, plants, and gift items.

Highly recommend!!! Texas Bluebonnets and Poppies are at peak. This is a beautiful stop for strolling, taking pictures, shopping, wine tasting, and simply pausing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased to find they were open til 6pm today. We travelled onto Willow City Loop (about 25 mi), and we also highly recommend the scenic backroads drive. So thankful for impeccable timing today!

Very interesting and beautiful place. Lots to see, plenty of shops and beautiful surroundings. Stopped over for an hour or so on our way to a winery tour.

I loved the wild flowers and the atmosphere at the farm was very nice. We did a wine tasting as well and enjoyed it.

No trip to Fredericksburg is complete without stopping at Wildseed Farms. Took a few friends on a girl trip and made sure this was our first stop. The gift shop has such unique items and the staff is always friendly. It had a lot of Christmas items displayed and we got quite a variety of gifts. The girls loved the place and were really happy we stopped in. Always a nice place to visit.

Average at best. Unsure why the raves review about this place. Sure the poppies were really pretty but honestly the wildflowers along the side of the roads were just as good. The icecream which I thought was going to be special was just soft serve. No real coffee (espresso). But huge gift shop which was well received by many. I just thought this was going to be much better than it was based on what I had read. Definately not worth an extra trip to go here but okay for a stop if it is on your way to somewhere

No flowers in the fields at this time but the shop had all kinds of seeds , pots, tools and information available

Beautiful nursery with a garden trail and plants for sale. Wine tasting room and snack bar for the culmination of your visit. Nice stopping point going to or from a Fredericksburg visit. Plan to spend 1 hour.

We were excited to shop and see the beautiful wildflowers at Wildseed. I have been many times over the years. Unfortunately, it was a cold and misty day. We did purchase a few things in the gift shop. We were excited to go see the fields of Bluebonnets and Poppies. We discovered a booth in front of the path. They were charging $5 to look! I was so disgusted! Seriously? There wasn’t even much blooming except some fading Poppies. We left feeling like it was a rip off to charge us for looking. Probably won’t ever go back.

First time shoppers at Wildseed Farms and will definitely return. Great selection of plants, seeds, etc. Plus, the field of poppies in front of the store was absolutely beautiful!

Peaches, flowers, great gift shop, peach Bellini wonderful (frozen & not much alcohol, real peach).
Plants seeds herbs to enjoy & purchase
Nature walk pretty & short with photo ops. Just a great place to spend an hour or three..

Great selection of plants, pots seeds. Also various jams, sauces, pickled, and spreads offor foods. Average souveniors

I have been in the past. This visit was very disappointing. The Wildflower Field was complete weeds. Barely any flowers. Very neglected. I was told they were understaffed but I think they are focused more on growing grapes.

We loved this place!! Flowers were amazing, Beautiful to walk and take photos. The gift shop is incredible and we went back the second day for more shopping!! Great for gifts and even well priced women's clothing and jewelry!! Would definitely go back next trip!

Amazing fields of flowers. Tons of items available for purchase. Nice walk along the fields. A butterfly garden, restaurant, and wine tasting room.

The Wildseed Farm near Fredericksburg is both a tourist spot and commercial farm. In spring the fields must be full of colour but in summer there are few flowers to be seen. There was no entrance fee to the field walk at this time of year with so little to see.
Cafes and shop and a few curios to see. Obviously not the best time of year to visit.

Go here when the Bluebonnets are in bloom and you will be amazed. I was disappointed the wine tasting are was closed but I love this place anyways!

We go to Wildseed Farms multiple times during the year but the most colorful time is during the Spring. All the fields are in full bloom and the butterflies garden is full! Great atmosphere for the entire family.

These were so nice and helpful, all kinds of plants and gifts. liked to never get my wife to leave, was a joy to see all of them and meet these folks.

My daughter and I visited Wildseed Farms and loved it. Beautiful, tranquil surroundings, nice shopping, and a great place to have an informal - and delicious - lunch! We were treated so warmly by Cody who provided our lunch — gracious, friendly, and welcoming!
We look forward to a return visit!

Not the best time of year to visit. Nothing really in bloom. Can browse inside a nice shop, however.

This was our favorite winery. Great wine tasting experience. Stewart was very knowledgeable and all around a great person to talk to. I would ask for him. We will definitely come back to this winery.

There are pots and more pots available here, along with seeds for all your favorite wildflowers. Especially enjoyed the iron art and blooming cactus.

I love this place, and it's a must on any trip to Fredericksburg. Everything is beautiful, and the gift shop has such unique items. Keep up the good work!

We could have spent hours here. Beautiful flowers in bloom. Lots of fields of flowers. Nice butterfly garden. They have couple winery on site which had great wine. Small restaurant which had samples of things. Highly recommend checking these folks out.

Wildseed Farms and Vineyards a must stop just for the beauty of the tasting room with its huge ceiling and wood accents is just a site to behold. No pressure to buy, staff was amazing on information and providing the appropriate wine for your tasting.
We could have spent all day in the building. We also met the owners and what a nice personal touch sending a follow card on their appreciation of our visit.

Pleasantly surprised with this visit. This is set up to sell plants and related products but it has true entertainement value. It was late in the season but the butterfly gardens are beautiful and free to visit. There are fields of flowers (sunflowers, Xenias, poppy's, etc) that are there to enjoy. Just a beautiful setting and all free ... until you decide that you need some of the seeds to try to duplicate the beauty in your own backyard!

It would have been better to visit during spring. We didn't get to see wildflowers, but you can tell it would be beautiful in spring.

My sister was looking for native plants and this is a good place to go They have a wide selection. Also a wide selection of native wildflower seeds. Nice gift shop and periodic lectures on planting/growing. Staff seemed very knowledgeable.

I have wanted to visit here for several years. First of all I realize it is the off season now. Not a single employee even acknowledged that I was there. The place was in disarray. They did have a couple of plots that were in late season bloom. There was also several butterfly plant groups that were nice, other than that not sure why they were even open. Pretty disappointed

The blooming fields are just beautiful in season. However, I also visit this place in the dead of winter. Love the music, the atmosphere, and the good selection of quality plants. The food samples are an added plus !

Their gift shop has so many cute gift ideas for those hard to buy for family and friends. Their plant selection is amazing and their walking paths are breathtaking. Thirsty or need a snack?? They can take care of that too.... Don't miss visiting the Wildseed Farms.

A nice place to stop for a short visit. Food choices very limited, so you really wouldn't stop for a regular lunch. But lots of interesting pots and plants as well as surrounding flower fields.

What a wonderful place to visit! We didn't get to spend as long as we wanted here but I would definitely come back. The gift shop is such a delight to shop in and you will have a hard time not purchasing something to take home. The grounds were beautiful and flowers just made it feel like full on spring. Parking was not a problem either and there is not charge. There is a restaurant here as well but we didn't have time to experience that. Lots of picture opportunities!!!

This is a wonderful stop for anyone from anywhere to get great garden and seed advice. The selection of food items - jams, sauces, seasoning mixes, etc. - was worth the time to browse,
The men and women found this to be a great stop, Nobody was bored,

I enjoyed the seed fields, and loved the gift shop with the opportunity to buy fresh wildflower seeds!

We stopped on a Thursday not knowing what to expect and with a 4 year old.
The flowers right now aren’t as big and there aren’t as many. Spring is really the best time to go and fall if you like pumpkins.
We still loved this free daytime trip. There’s a butterfly garden with lots of plants and flowers and hummingbirds and butterflies.
The flower rows do have some flowers and they’re beautiful. If you have a camera you can get some decent photos.
The gift shop is kind of like a Cracker Barrel with lots of things to buy. We bought lots of flower seeds so we could grow beautiful flowers at home.
There’s also a place to get some simple food items and ice cream. And another place if you want to drink some wine from the vineyard.
And if you want to buy plants and flowers they have a nursery too.
We’ll definitely be back in fall for the pumpkins and next spring to see everything in full bloom.

What a delightful place. You can purchase garden pots, plants (annuals and perennials), and wildflower seeds specifically packaged for different areas of the country. A gift store features beautiful reminders of Texas, especially all things bluebonnet. You can go to a wine tasting and there is an area where food can be purchased. Plan on staying a while!

I have bought seeds from this company online. I had no idea they had such a property that was a destination. First of all, I was mesmerized by their huge store. Of course, I bought more seeds but they have adorable garden items and cute clothes.
Then I was in for another treat by going into the huge outdoor nursery area. They have a butterfly farm and walking trails. Surrounding the nursery are landscaped areas that can give you ideas for your own gardens. And if you are not into gardening, it is fun to just walk around and smell all the fragrances from the different plants.
I cant wait to go back.

The gift shop was a suprise aray of items what a joyful shop. Seed packets were instresting to see and the field of flower were beautiful.

Very nice place to stop but I was a little disappointed - seemed too "touristy" for me. Mostly gift shop, but walking around the plants available for purchase was enjoyable and seeing some garden art was nice. Not as much a garden place as it was a store. But if you aren't already familiar with Texas plants and wildflowers it might be much more enjoyable. There is a nice little café inside and lots of jams and jellies to purchase. And there were a few gardens to walk through that gave me a few ideas. I imagine that on the weekends it can get very crowded.

WOW, nothing is free anymore! I guess with the introduction of their new wine tasting enterprise, they realized that they could also charge for meandering through their gardens. Annual pilgrimages to see the Wildseed Farm flowers in the spring or summer maybe a thing of the past for many families.

When we come to Fredericksburg we always pay a visit to Wildseed Farms. This time we caught the blue bonnets at near peak season. It was beautiful! PS, hot sauce is good too.

lovely space... what creative people... plants for sale, seeds for sell, esp those blue ones! drinks, beer, wine, ice cream, fields to take pictures,,, exampkle gardens..

Our visit in March was too early for any wild flowers to be out. Very very cool place but there too rarly this year.

Beautiful and peaceful place full of fabulous flowers! The gift shop had a huge range of gift items.

Tourist trap....very disappointed...my wife and I were the only ones in the store and none of the 5 employees throughout the complex even bothered to say hello or welcome to our store. Upon checkout, I used my VIsa debit card and was charged an extra 3% because it was not cash....spent the last 4 days in Fredericksburg and NO ONE charged this convenience fee. Felt like the prices were too high and the customer service was terrible.
The place was immaculate and well-kept and definitely had alot of selection.

A very large gardens full of all kinds of beautiful native Texas plants and some that weren’t native to Texas. The shop in the store inside has every kind of seed imaginable. If you’re a plant lover you will not be disappointed

We visited May 16 and apparently most of the flowers were done blooming. Interesting place. Good place to stop for ice cream

Visited in April when spring wildflowers were blooming and Widseed Farms was breathtaking and so beautiful. The fields of bluebonnets, red and orange poppies and other garden scenes and store were so awesome. We relaxed and drank a couple cold drinks and ate some great salsa in their outdoor dining area. The flowers stole the show and I can’t wait to come back again.

Just love this place so beautiful. There flowers are lovely. Gift shop is nice very Texan but expensive. They have a winery a snack shop great places to sit and relax, dogs allowed. Great to relax in the gorgeous gardens

I loved looking at the plants native to the area. The gift shop has many fun things to buy--including all kinds of wildflower seeds! In addition, there are two really nice kitties that live there!

We love the variety of plants and seeds here. We always find things you can't find easily elsewhere and the prices are reasonable!

Went in Wine Passport. Sunday receptionist was RUDE! Ok,
Didn’t have reservation but when asked about making one for next day she didn’t want to help at all. Blew us off to website and not that busy. Went back later in week, wines not that great. Sangria was good.
Atmosphere ok. Not
Customer service oriented. Walk ins keep being placed ahead of us.

Beyond the seeds and the wildflowers themselves, the rest of this store is jammed packed with typical tourist items

Wine was excellent, knowledge & service was impeccable. Really enjoyed our conversation with staff!

Pretty location and nice shop with lots of seeds to buy (hint, if you get the bluebonnet seeds, soak them in water for awhile before you plant them; the outer case is hard and needs moisture to germinate well). Gardens are nice and there is a second place to get a lunch or buy some tasty salsas and jams.

Wildseed farms is a large nursery near Fredericksburg that features big fields of flowers with walkable paths between the fields. They also have nice benches placed at strategic spots along the paths. When we visited the weather was very nice but I'm sure it can get hot. (Many benches are in shade). They also have a large gift shop with flower-related items, plants rocks for your garden, and a nice cafe.

For a quick getaway in Fredericksburg, we enjoyed the sights of the red poppies, the walk around the farm, a small ice cream cone treat, and the flowers and seeds we purchased.

This is a definite stop any time you're in the area. Great place to shop for plans, decor and seeds. You can have a light lunch, try their wines, learn about wildflowers, and buy the seeds & plants. It's a beautiful place to just wander around and enjoy.

This has always been a must see when we are in Fredericksburg. But this year, almost no flower fields. Full disclosure, a freeze had killed some blooms. But, they have replaced many of their flower fields with grape vines to join the winery fad sweeping the hill country. We saw only two fields with any blooms at all - bluebonnets were not quite ready, and poppys were hurt by the freeze. The shop is still great, with lots of cutsy items and some good food items. Hopefully, they will return to the source of their reputation - flowers!

One of the best places to visit. There is so much to enjoy from shopping, walking through the flower fields, eating, wine tasting... We LOVED our lunch here. I had a frozen wine drink! I bought gifts and truly enjoyed its beauty.

Although March is a big too early to enjoy the blooming wildflowers and gorgeous colors, we still enjoyed our afternoon there. The grounds are beautiful, gift shops present unique gardening related items, and the cafe has delicious sandwiches. It was a nice, relaxing time. Hopefully will be back someday during the season.

This place is popular year round. I have been in spring to see the amazing display of wildflowers, I have been is summer and in winter time. We purchase wildflower seeds to plant on our land and use going there as an excuse to visit Fredericksburg and dine locally. In late May thru maybe early July there are peach stands along the roadside. They have a nice selection of interesting home and garden decor and plants not cheap but very nice. The goto place for wildflower, flower and native grass seed which can be ordered online but then you miss out on the visit and scenery. Makes a nice weekend outing with many restaurants and wineries in the area

Mid March isn’t the best time to visit. Nice place, good tourist spot, but not much going on without the fliers in bloom. April/May, I bet it’s bumpin’.

This place has several different buildings. You can shop, buy plants, buy seeds, find local canned goods and grab a quick bite to eat. They had a wine tasting building we did not try. We did all the other stuff though and was pleasantly surprised.

They had a very good selection of knick knacks, and lots of seeds. But the gardens were the best. Good selection of bedding plants

Wildseed Farms is an eclectic shopping adventure that is also a feast for your eyes and nose! Located along the highway with numerous wineries, Wildseed Farms has vast fields planted in all types of flowers to delight the senses. The plantings change with the seasons so you never see the same "show" twice. Rows of poppies, cosmos, zinnias, blue bonnets, Indian paintbrush, and more offer showy displays of color that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and humans. And that's just the beginning. There is a great shop inside that includes a boutique for women, numerous household gifts & gadgets, packages of wildflower seeds in all sizes and combinations, and seasonal items. There are plants and Talavera pots for sale outside plus many different types of yard art ranging from whimsical to hilarious. You can also find a butterfly garden, a tasting room, great sandwiches & beer on draft, plus salsas, jams, relishes, and cooking rubs. Easy to spend several leisurely hours here.

This is one of my happy places. The gift shops are nice, but for me, it’s all about plants & flowers. Wildseed always has tremendous variety & healthy stock. Even though it’s too late to plant in July, I still enjoyed my visit.

The Wildseed Farms was a nice place to stop but it was not what I expected. I thought there would be some type of wildflower garden you would be able to walk through or a drive to see wildflower fields. That was not to be. Wildseed Farm is basically a gift shop, though it was a very nice one. It it have big selection of wildflower seeds to purchase which was fun to look through. It was a nice stop and a beautiful store.

Bought many things in the nursery and also in the shop. One of our favorite places to stop on our way to Fredericksburg. Have a great selection of plants, beautiful grounds, and some very unusual pieces of art, clothing, general store things and gifts.

Though this is a wine-tasting stop, their collection of products and beautiful flowers and plants for purchase are really their features.

Short drive from Fredericksburg. Beautiful grounds, fields popping in color. Large selections of plants and garden items as well as wildflower seeds for sale. Wine tasting and snacks as well.

Been here many times. Good selection of Wildflower seeds and plants (seasonal). The gift shop area has a nice selection of different items including ladies clothing. Wonderful selection of jams, jellies, marinades and canned veggies. It is open year round but is exceptional in the spring, early summer when you can view the wildflower plots in bloom.

There is so much to see (and buy!). Plants herbs flowers. Garden gadgets, seeds, and pretty decorative items. They have a nice cafe area. People are friendly. Food is not great but pretty good. They also have lots of food items such as jellies, salsa, and pickled everything. I bought some honey that is awesome. Definitely worth a visit!

Hill country nursery that has a great selection of plants and assorted gift items we go there every time we are in Fredericksburg

Beautifully landscaped and wildflowers galore! Unusual finds in the store and even has wine tasting. No charge for admission and the chance to take unbelievable pictures. A definite must do!

We stopped by to check out the plants. We didn’t go into the winery portion for this visit. Lots of options for wildflower seeds!

this was an impulse stop for our family of 6 and I am so glad we did. We had the best 90 minutes of our trip. Great gift shop, cute outdoor gardens and the snack bar food was tasty. You will not be disappointed take the time to visit.

My daughter loves photography and asked that we stop at Wildseed farms for photos on our way to San Antonio. The place is truly lovely. The gardens are shaded and easy to walk even in the TX heat. They had peach ice cream and frozen margaritas to make the walk even less hot. I was worried that since it was summer and not blue bonnet season, that we might be disappointed. Not so! The lovely fields of black-eyed-susans were blooming and there were tons of fish, dragonflies, butterflies, and other flowers that we all enjoyed the walk. My daughter enjoyed getting tons of photos and then purchased seed packets in the store to try some of our favorite flowers at home. The store has great regional growing maps so you can be sure to get things that will grow in your part of the country. If you are local, there are also potted plants you can purchase for your own yard. Great visit. Would love to come again during bluebonnet season!

We only had about 20 minutes to enjoy the gift shop and grounds--I would have loved a much longer visit! Excellent selection of wildflower seeds, including regional varieties for all parts of the country, and several types of bluebonnets. Lots of floral gifts, and a nursery (that I did not have time to explore.) Definitely worth a visit. Note: the red poppies were just starting to bloom in the front field--I expect they will be fantastic within the next week or so!

When I visited I could see the fields were prepped for the wildflowers. Hope to come back closer to spring to see them. They have a large variety of seeds and plants, also a fun gift shop.

We got to the farm after most of the field blooms were done so we missed seeing a lot of the blue bonnets and red poppy flowers in full bloom. The farm is very nice for just strolling around and looking at displays, etc. There are lots of other plants and seeds and nick nacks for sale in a relaxed outdoor and indoor nursery/store setting. It would be easy to spend an hour or more just looking around at everything and taking a stroll around the grounds.

Disappointed in the people who work there. They proclaim to be military friendly far for it. They only highlight from the visit was the lady who served us where they house the wines. We will not go back unfortunately.

This was an amazing stop. We were able to buy seeds, plants, and wine. Walking through the garden area was the best. So worth the stop.

The grounds have not been maintained well….many weeds and few blooming plants. Merchandise in shop is expensive. Not much to see!

I spend a lot of time in Fredericksburg and never made it to this place until now. The kids and wife had a ball, fun way to get outside and enjoy the sun.

We went yesterday April 21st like we do anytime we go to Fredericksburg. We have been going for 20+ years. We got there after five and my daughter told me the sign says we have to pay to go walk the trails. I proceeded to shop and buy my seeds and my plants that I buy almost every year from them, when I went to check out, I asked the lady why they charge now for the trails to go view the poppies/wildflowers. The lady at the register didn’t say anything, but just turned to look at an elderly Man standing behind her. Apparently, this is the owner. He told me they have always charged to go on the trails, I told him no sir we’ve been coming here for Years and have never been charged and he told me we must not have been coming when the poppies are out. I told him yes we always come when the poppies are out and I have pictures, my Husband is a photograper. He told me they’ve been doing it for 10 years and if I don’t like it, I can go somewhere else. I was shocked, but I continued to talk to the man about the blue bonnets and the poppies and why I can’t Seem to grow them at my house. After we checked out, I got in my Truck went through my pictures And I have so many where we are on the trails taking pictures of poppies. The owner flat out lied to me, I don’t know if I will go back Even though I love the place. The owner was extremely rude. The staff seemed very Nonchalant. The price now to walk the trails is $5. So disappointed.

The farm has a couple of acres of paths as well as a shop, wine tasting room, and snack bar. It's relaxing to walk through the rows of flowers to take in the beauty of the Hill Country. Luckily there is no fee to just enter and walk around. Wildflower season would be even a better time to go. I wish they would add some signage to tell you the names of the flowers and plants.

Wonderful selection of plants and garden "stuff." We got there just a little too early in the season to see their fields in bloom, but still a great place.

Beautiful facility! Helpful staff. Healthy plants and displays. Flat surfaces for walking or rolling. Beautiful planters. I bought a rain chain. We went 2 days in a row. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for the flower gardens. Did not realize you needed reservations for wine tasting, but they let us order a glass to walk around with. Very nice butterfly garden. Never figured out what the grapefruit colored bell vine wa, would love that planted on my fence line. We had a nice walk around, then sat in the shade for a little while.

Such a fun place. Unfortunately, I guess we were too early the full bluebonnet blooming time (just went this week), but it was still worth the trip. Fantastic gift shop, wine tasting, beer garden, food, and plenty of places to sit with shade. The garden area has plants galore for sale with helpful employees. Plan on spending some time here because there is so much to see. It is very touristy, so the crowds are large. I suggest getting there early. It is so worth it.

I was excited to visit this flower farm as it’s the biggest wildflower farm in the U.S. I was surprised the plant section wasn’t as nicely kept up as one would think. There was no bloom update on their website, and for a hike from San Antonio, you’d think the website would be up to date. The cats at the farm are NOT friendly, so don’t touch them. One scratched me REALLY bad. I only put my hand out to try to pet it, and it swatted at me and scratched me badly. I told the gift shop employee and she didn’t seem to care. She wasn’t friendly either to begin with. The grounds needed a good weeding where the courtyard area is. Just was not expecting all this from the pictures and reviews.

We toured their property and butterfly garden. The plants on display for sale are a garden unto themselves! Gift shop sells all sorts of seeds and fifty things. Restaurant sells sandwiches and other items. They sell an extensive array of sauces, jellies and honey, but beware as we found same items much cheaper elsewhere in Fredericksburg. They also sell Becker and other wines.

We came in the summer so it's the wrong time of the year. Pictures make me want to visit in the spring. Garden areas and butterfly area are really pretty and we brought home some seeds for next year.

Beautiful property covered with flowers growing for seed, potted plants of all sizes, colors and arrangements, wind spinners and more. All types of birds, bees, and butterflies are attracted to the blooming flowers, amazing!!!

Stopped in here few days ago and enjoyed the time looking at many pretty and unusual items that are in their store. There’s something there for everyone whether you garden or not.

Lot going on here. They are a huge outfit that has a gift shop offering everything from seed packets to jewelry, clothing, kitchen goodies and gardening items. There is a plant nursery and a wine tasting area, cafe that also sells bottled jellies and such. Very nice outdoor seating to enjoy wine or ice cream!
Then they have flower fields you can walk through. Unfortunately, the bluebonnets and poppies were just starting to show so we didn’t walk through. They have lavender and other flower fields that I’m sure will be gorgeous when in bloom.

Wildseed Farms is a must visit regardless of the time of year. It's best in nice weather; however, there are so many things to do I would make a visit no matter what the weather is doing. Here are the things you can do while visiting:
- Shop in their indoor gift store
- Visit the seed store
- Sit in a covered stone courtyard listening to music and drinking a glass of wine or beer
- Shop and eat in their specialty food store/deli
- Shop the outside garden area (pots, flowers, plants, etc.)
- Walk the butterfly garden with trails, fountains and landscaping
- Walk the flower fields when in bloom
I would come here again. I would buy a bottle of local Texas wine, break out a deck of cards, and enjoy myself on the courtyard. If it's nice weather, I would walk the trails and flower farms. My wife would lose herself in the garden area getting ideas and items for our patio at home.

Enjoyed the wildflowers, we bought 2 bottles of water $4 total -we commented on the price, no response When I asked how his day was, his response was again to ignore and the problem will go away, I realize this is a destination stop, but customer service is always important,

If you like flowers you MUST visit! You can purchase wildflower seeds of all kinds and colors. The fields are usually a sea of color and they will be soon! It's just a little bit early for everything to bloom. It's a treat to visit and shop here!

We came here for my birthday weekend and it was magical. The wildflowers were in full bloom, butterflies were everywhere and the wine was AMAZING! Cole (Nicole) helped us try all kinds of wines until we found the ONE! We loved her friendly service and seeing the owners in the building enjoying their craft was a major bonus. We ended up getting a membership there!
They have lots of lawn decor and plants of all shapes and sizes and are very reasonably priced.
Can't wait for our next wine pick up!

Plenty to see and do here. There are interesting shops with lots to see as well as local seeds. Walk around the garden for idea. A nice break from all the wineries.

Always interesting to visit, though check the website or call before you visit to make sure there's something in bloom. The gift shop has all kinds of seeds and fun gifts any time but to get the best effect, you'll want to see fields of blooms.

Nice diversion. Wine, beer, plants, seeds, souvenirs. A good way to spend an hour or so in the area.

We stopped here while in the Hill Country and enjoyed a glass of Red Sangria wine. Loved it so much that we bought 2 bottles to take with us as gifts. One for friend back in Minnesota. Waiter was very helful and friendly, can't remember his name.
When back in the area, we will stop again.
We also enjoyed the market area and shop as well as the outside views.
Not so happy about my visit
Nice place but they didn’t allow us to walk the flower fields, the main reason we went there we could not do
Disappointed
The store has a lot of nice outdoor and indoor ornaments
