Easy little tour. You get all the basic info. Fun place to see. Doesn't take a lot of time. We had a group and one person in wheel chair and everyone was very accommodating. Delightful.

unfortunately there are no tours during week days, only tasting. however, the rye whiskey was excellent but the maple syrup excelled.

Terrific staff and great variety. Take the tour if you can to learn a ton about how they make their products. This is one of the top craft distilleries in the US for the very excellent reason that their products are top notch!!

Woodinville Whiskey has grown from a really small warehouse environment to their new building very near Ste. Michelle Winery and Red Hook Brewery.
The syrup is so tasty you want to drink it!
Stop by for some tasty spirits!

The pancake/waffle syrup is TO DIE FOR! My in-laws fell in love with it when they were visiting, and always pick some up when they are in town.

We went there to taste some good whiskey, and we did. We did not go on a day that did tours so we missed out on that. The service was very good and the rye whiskey is excellent. With the tasting fee coming off the purchase price was good value.

I am not a whiskey drinker but my husband really enjoy the whiskey tasting. I enjoy the vodka tasting. if I had room in my suitcase I would be bringing some home.

A definite stop when in Woodinville to take a break from the wineries. Modern facilities with a great tasting room coupled with expert whisky descriptions from a seasoned vet. She really knows her stuff! Yea and the whiskey is great too!

My husband and I went for a visit during a spirit release . Amazing place and really nice people .they also make amazing bourbon .I would highly recommend this place .

Great time today at the Woodinville Whiskey Company. Today we actually beat traffic and parking to make the free tour. Great tour! Rather than a tour distilled down to bland facts, procedures, and science this tour is full bodied at the front with a crisp refreshing finish and no unwanted burn in the wallet. The tour includes accents of humor, but also a subtle aromatic hints of chemistry, and economics for the careful and intellectual taster to discern if they so desire.
WWC offers a full palate of Whiskey, Bourbon and a even a delicious pseudovodka that has been crushing tradition, as well as the critics. Beginners and pros alike will enjoy their experience here. For $10, go have a seat at the bar and taste their tradecraft. If it tickles your fancy you can buy a bottle $10 off with tax already included. Research it if you wish, or trust my word that this is a rare killer deal!

The food was really good and we loved the outdoor sitting area and the fire pit.
Great for families.

This distillery was one of the original "craft distilleries" in the Puget Sound region, although they started out with a lot more money then most of the other distilleries in the area. Since then, they have grown a lot, moving into a purpose built location where they offer tours that will give anyone new to the world of creating high quality distilled beverages a good start. Their location is beautiful, the staff very knowledgable, and the presentation is quite polished. However, Woodinville Whiskey has pretty much grown beyond the original intent of the craft distillery laws, and in fact worked to expand those laws to allow production of considerably more product than was originally envisioned. So if you want an introduction to distilled spirits production, they are a great place to get your feet wet. If you want to see a truly craft distillery in operation, find a smaller operation to visit.

They had a $5 tasting for three generous pours of their bourbon, rye and vodka and a sample of their barrel aged maple syrup. We bought a bottle of whiskey (smooth soft finish) and they took the $5 cost of tasting off the price.

We were here for a wedding reception and enjoyed the location being a whiskey distillery, along with the products it offered.

My wife and I stopped in for a tasting and enjoyed all for of the whiskeys we tried. We liked the small batch rye well enough to purchase a bottle. The server was knowledgeable, fun and friendly.
We did come back two days after our initial visit to purchase some t-shirts for my sons and were again served by the same person who remembered our previous visit and thanked us for coming back.
We have since shared the whisky with family and everyone agrees....wow, this is good.

This place has surprisingly good liquors & is not your average distillery! The staff s knowledgeable, the options vast & it’s extremely popular with tourist & locals. Parking is tight so go early or off hours to get a place nearby.
Tip: Buy the bourbon maple syrup - amazing on pancakes!

Great whiskey in a great barn like building with a fun restaurant attached! The whiskey tastings are great & end with a sweet shot of whiskey infused maply syrup- so good! But a bottle & enjoy a special treat on weekend mornings:)

Awesome crew that serves the best spirts. Take a tour while your here and see how the magic happens.

I love my scotch and bourbon. We plan trips to taste various liquors. I’ve been to numerous distilleries and NEVER have I had the pourer tell me I had to finish a sample prior to trying the second offering a flight. She was stymied when I asked where the dump barrel was. She used the same dram for every single sample and we weren’t allowed to compare. Hell I even bring my own oat cakes to nosh between samples. But not here. They call their first sample light. Yeah it was light alrighty. The sweet young thing was proud of her whisky but was perplexed that all we left with was syrup. To end our visit, the other tender picked up our glasses by sticking her fingers all over them and then picking up a clean dram to take to another table WITHOUT washing her hands. They both took money, touched all number of glasses, cash, pens and NEVER WASHED THEIR HANDS.... during COVID!! Run.... there are many many other distilleries in Seattle or maybe just pop across the street to Chateau St. Michelle....

First the country needs more small distillers. MBEV hsa dominated the market and is going after the small distillers especially in the burban, single malt and whiskey. Trying to get Congress to pass a laws requiring all Bourbons and single malts to be distilled in 50 gallon white oak tost charred barrels. Small distillers can not afford this overhead. 20 and 30 gallon are more appropriate for the craft industries.
Woodinville Whiskey is well on it's way to becoming a 1st class distiller. As a Master Blender i tasted my share of whiskeys, single malts and bourbons. GO visit, try their selection and return often. You will begin to understand the maturity of the whiskey.
Have the Distiller teach you the 5 steps of sampling the aroma and flavor of the beverage so you learn how to appreciate a good spirit. Age is not an indicator of quality, most mature at 3 years peak is 10 with a bell curve centered near 10. Price goes up on older spirits simply because with sells to sustain the business there is simply less to bottle. Less to bottle means higher price.
Woodinville Whiskey stays on it current path it will be one of the great Distillers in the northwest.
Now write your Congressman and demand that small Distillers be allowed to use smaller barrels or these Distillers will go out of business and the large distillers will own the market and this translates into fewer choices and higher cost.

Amidst the hundred of wineries was a distillery that was a true reprieve for my non-wine drinking husband. This place was new, clean and the customer service was great. I was very impressed with the fact that they also offered vodka, rye whiskey, and bourbon.

The atmosphere is great and the $5 tasting was worth it, especially if you're going to buy some items anyways. Note: They do not do tours in the factory during the week, just the weekends...It would have been nice to just see what the inside looked like, but I guess I'll have to visit some other time.

Good place for lunch if you are nearby. Not crowded so you can talk. Good food and good food options. Prepare to take an uber / lyft for the whiskey flight tastings. It's a casual counterpoint in wine country.

Bourbon is their namesake but the vodka steals the show. Butterscotch aromas in vodka?? Really? Then eat a burger next door at Hollywood Tavern in front of the open pit fire.

Love this place! We've done the KY Bourbon Trail and this is right up there with the best of them. People were so friendly and knowledgeable. We did a tasting and ended up buying a bottle which they applied the tasting fee to the purchase. We also tasted their Maple & Simple Syrup and came home with a bottle of their Maple Syrup! Close to home so definitely will return!

Visited for a tasting (very generous pours) (reasonable price) and the free tour they do at weekends. The tour didn't take long as this is a modest establishment, but the information and stories were very well received. Purchased a bottle after the tour and can easily recommend this to anyone interested in Bourbon / Rye and even Vodka! It's clear this is a very popular spot and rightly so!

There were two couples in our group and we enjoyed our tasting of 3 bourbons a vodka and maple syrup! This was followed by a very informative low keyed tour of the distillery. The explanation of the entire process from grinding corn and rye, through fermentation, to distillation and fractionation the whisky to barreling and storing the barrels, was complete but not too technical. Everyone had a great time. It can be a different experience from the wine tastings going on all around the distillery. You need to stop in and I would recommend the tour as well as the tasting!

Great drinks. Yummy appetizers, my favorite is the fried pickles. Lovely, comfortable setting. And a great designer David Cole designed all the labels for the Whiskey.

Decided to do a whisky tasting here in Seattle and surprisingly pretty good. They gave us a whisky bourbon and two Rye. All of them had very nice nose, good body and long on the palate. The distillery is nice inside but only tastings not much of a tour overall would recommend. Enjoy

A comfortable place, despite being quite limited on floor space. Staff and guests were very friendly. A-plus for cleanliness. Tour of the distillery was well done. Inside can get very crowded. Best to go outside peak hours and, ideally, during nice weather (so you can take advantage of the outside seating, especially around the fireplace). Very good service.

$5 whiskey flight, and the fee goes towards your first purchase. Whiskey, bourbon, vodka and barrel aged maple syrup. All their offerings were great, really impressed with this small batch distiller. Recommended stop if you are in the area. It's just down the road from Red Hook and Chateau Ste. Michelle.

I stopped in at the Woodinville Whiskey Company and had a great time. The place was packed but I got into a small area at the end of the bar and was served almost immediately!!! My server was great and she actually talked me into buying a great whiskey!!!!! And I did!!!!!! I bought their Woodinville whiskey and it tasted super. This place was packed when I came in and when I left!!! I love this place!!! Make sure you visit if you get to Seattle!!!

On the edge of Woodinville wine country go for something different. The Woodinville Whiskey Co. is about 5 years old and is now able to release their first properly aged product. A tasting is $10 and well worth it (I split it with another person in my party). The pours are about 2oz each (you get 4) and the cost of the tasting comes off the price of bottle if you're so inclined to make a purchase. Tours are not every day so make sure to check out the schedule on that. The environment in the tasting room is warm and inviting. Items to purchase include a wonderful whiskey maple syrup, which is pricey at $20 but such a wonderful treat.

Spent a very enjoyable hour here this morning. My son is a whiskey drinker and I generally am not, though I'm learning. The gent behind the counter gave us at on of info, I learned a lot, and, well, the whiskey was gorgeous. It was an awesome change up form all the wine in town, and my advice is they open at 11 and get there early because parking is limited. Otherwise, a marvelous experience.

With all the visitors waiting for distillery tour and those who want to have a drink after dinning at the Tavern next door, the tasting room is pretty packed at weekend afternoons.
The complimentary tour is totally free. It starts at 1 and 3PM during the weekends and last about 30 mins. We got a tour of the distillery, barrel areas with the guide explaining the whiskery making and aging procedure. Quite some knowledge to learn. The staff is very friendly and you can take pictures wherever you like.
The tasting costs $10, with three kind of whiskeys (rye, bourbon, American), one vodka and one maple syrup. The $10 can be deducted if you buy whiskery or vodka there. Rye whiskery is quite spicy, while the bourbon is milder and American is quite fruity. The vodka got a stronger aroma of butterscotch, which is perfect for cocktail but too strong to drink straight.
Please not that all the liquor samples are straight and very strong, so be prepared and taking small sips. People constantly drinking water from water machine avoiding dehydrate. In fact if they can add a snack selling section in the tasting room that would be a great idea.
The place is very popular. So much people there in the tasting room around 4 pm that it's so hard to find a place just taste the liquor. Four waitresses were very busy pouring liquor and introducing the flavors. It kind of like a bar at Friday night.
It's quite unique and nice place to sample some nice local whiskeys.

Their whiskey, vodka, maple syrup and honey... taste them all. They are very generous with their tastings and their knowledge.

Woodinville Whiskey Co. offers a very informative free tour. Matt, our tour guide who happened to be also overseeing the whiskey making at that moment, was very engaging and could have talked forever.
During the over half hour tour, we learned about the stills and the different stages of mash. He told us how the stills were manufactured in Europe and explained the design of the stills. We saw a roomful of barrels of whiskey but learned that most barrels were stored off-site at the farms. We learned how fortunate it was that the barrel maker was willing to make barrels for them and how you never just threw out a used whiskey barrel.
Too bad there were no free samples. Samples were available for $10. Only large bottles are sold - it would have been nice if we could have purchased mini bottles of Woodinville Whiskey (small bottles like liquor sold on airplanes).

The whiskey is good. The bottles can be etched with names or messages and it only takes about 20 minutes. Fun change of pace in wine country.

Interesting place! Greeted warmly and got a tasting of all their different spirits and their maple syrup. All good products. A little fast on description of each spirit but handouts gave background anyways. You could take a tour of the facility for free, we didn't but might if we have more time next time we are in the area. Spirits were all good, especially liked the vodka and the maple syrup.

I took two out-of-town guests on this informative complimentary tour. One of them choose to do a tasting also. The $10 tasting fee gets applied to the cost of any spirits you buy that day. My friend said the vodka was smooth and bourbon was fabulous. She purchased a bottle of each.
I recommend this tour, which is only offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Tastings are available daily.

We wanted to go whiskey and wine tasting for the afternoon, and stopped in here since we ate lunch next door at Hollywood. First there was no customers there and the 2 girls just awkwardly stared at us as we walked in. There was no kind of menu, tasting menu, cocktail menu. One girl finally asked if we wanted to do a tasting, and asked for one person or two. JUST DO ONE. The whiskey was not served on ice or chilled, there wasn't water offered or any kind of bread or snack to cleanse your palate after some pretty strong sips. It also made VERY uncomfortable that the girl just poured the different whiskies and didn't talk about them, tell us the story of each, etc she just stood back behind the bar doing nothing. We were honestly just hoping for a cocktail, but ended up doing two tastings, and I couldn't finish mine. I just think this great location and building have some opportunity when it comes to the staff behind the bar and offerings. Overall, I would only go if you had a big group so you could talk to each other and not make it so uncomfortable when the bartender is just standing there. We were out in less than 10 min because it was so quiet. Not what I had imagined a whiskey tasting would be for $20!

Woodinville Whiskey Company is close to the wineries we were visiting. This was a pleasant surprise and we very much enjoyed our $5.00 tasting.
They make both a rye and bourbon tasting. They also have vodka.
The distillery is quite pretty and was the surprise highlight of our day in Woodinville.

Ate here on a Friday afternoon unfortunately was full of ladies from work. Had to relocate to the outside area because it was too loud!
Outside was pleasant with great service. Food was good, had the Cuban sandwich which was excellent. Fried pickle chips were good.

The whiskeys and vodka were tasty and the pour was generous but the whiskey maple syrup was superb! I went with family and friends and none of us usually use maple syrup and we bought three bottles!

The peeps are certainly passionate and the tour was fun but don't waste your money on the kit. We bought the unaged whiskey and the aging keg for a small fortune. You pour 2 5ths into the aging cask and let it age until you feel it has aged sufficiently. Some evaporation is to be expected but after 6 weeks we filled only one bottle - the rest had evaporated. That makes for a frightfully expensive bottle which in fact wasn't all that good. So buy off the shelf don't waste your money or time- it isn't worth it.

Great spot to stop for a tasting. Very reasonable cost of $10 which you get back with purchase. The girls are friendly and know their alcohol. The maple syrup is pretty darn good as well.

Stopped in to do a tour but had just missed one. Got to do a flight at the bar though. Nice whiskey. still a little green but not bad.

The girls liked the wine tasting and the boys got to try the whiskey. They thought it was pretty good. But it is a lot different than wine. I do think that it is a fun place to stop and mix the wine tasting up a bit. Try it out!!

Before making a trip to Seattle,Washington I researched the area around Woodinville and to my surprise found a bourbon distillery. My husband and I are bourbon drinkers and have made multiile trips on the Kentucky bourbon trail so of course we had to make a visit.
We arrived on a snowy Friday afternoon and to our surprise they were open. Matthew was the prefect host and the bourbon we tasted was fantastic. A plus was the bourbon maple syrup!!!!
Anyone who wants a great bourbon experience in Washington should visit this distillery and if you’re a Kentucky bourbon drinker step inside if you dare. We did and we’ll be back.

As has been stated earlier, there are no tours on weekdays, but come anyway for the tasting. Whiskey is fabulous, vodka is smoother than most, and the maple syrup wins the day. Our brunches now feature "Woodinville waffles."

What an amazing and educational experience tasting 3 barrell's and learning how to experience the unique nuances, flavor, and differences. Loved the time there and departed with some amazing unfiltered whiskey. Fun!

What an awesome place! The street appeal draws you in even if you haven't enjoyed their wares. Watch the still transfer their product to holding tank, taste their Rye, their Bourbon, their Vodka, and mapke syrup while chatting with very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Sip and savor!

Widdinville Whiskey is a very nice building located right by the big wineries and ample parking. The fight of 4 (half ounce) samples are high quality whiskey and all four I tried were 90 proof. The people working there are very knowledgeable about their products so ask questions. They mentioned they did tours at 1:00 and 3:00 which lasted approx 1 hour, not sure if that was normal as we had a few people that asked a ton of very good questions. The tour host was patient and answered l the questions from the group and tried to make the tour fun and interesting. If you luv whiskey diffidently check out Woodinville Whiskey and if you are hungry there is a restaurant next door that shares the same parking lot. Also check out the back on second floor where you can see the entertainment area if interested in booking an event. The double barrel whisky was my favorite but the other ones were good as well.

Although i didn't care the whiskey or vodka they had i did love the syrup and candle. The $ was right and the staff gave us a free tasting. Very impressive, definitely need to find how to get the syrup to TX!

This place is open on weekdays, but only for tasting and retails sales - no tours. Nice place. Tasting was very good and includes oak barrel aged maple syrup.

Stopped to try the rye from one of my favorite bourbons! Woodinville did not disappoint. Heather was a great bartender!

Woodinville is one of the most charming places I’ve ever experienced. I tasted the most delicious honey whiskey... it was so smooth and the food was good too... but oh the whiskey. It’s a must go! Cheers!

Came in right when they opened, so not crowded at all. All the drinks were great- have never tasted such good vodka! Got a quick, informative and no pressure explanation of everything. Bought a great gift pack.

Tasting fee is applied to your purchase, the pours are generous and our favourite is their flagship bourbon and barrel aged maple surup

Not really whiskey drinkers. But the place looked really inviting. The three young women working the bar were the highlight of the visit. They were fun and informative. So even if you don't drink whiskey, give this place a try.

We loved the aesthetic appeal of the building, as well as the spacious tasting room and informative tasting. We went home with Rye and barrel aged maple syrup - too good to leave without!

We rented the upstairs room and adjacent outdoor space for a wedding reception after hours. The space worked well for about 60 people with a reasonable space for DJ and dance floor, buffet line, reception and gift area, and seating for groups. The bar selections of mixed drinks with their own bourbon and whiskey were great, local beers were also served.
A really nice wooded space for the vows completed the picture. Worth a stop if you are looking for a space for a group event.

Arrived just ahead of scheduled tour of vat area. Purchased two samples of their whiskey, one vodka and a maple syrup with whiskey and oak flavors. Not for the faint hearted. If your just a wine person these samples were more potent and flavorful than expected. The maple syrup originates from Vermont put it in the pre-used oak casks. The tour gave good information and not too technical, so I was able to grasp and appreciate the process. Items were available for purchase. After tasting there is a restaurant tavern that served great food. There was a group of men having a bachelor party gathering next to us.

My wife let us stop by during wine tasting In Woodinville. :). Just In time for the tour. This distillery is awesome. Award winning bourbon and Ryes. Former master distiller from makers mark helped them get going. Took a tour with Mathew. Very detailed and fun. Passionate folks that give attention to detail.

If you love fine whiskey, or just want a break from all the wineries in the area, consider Woodinville Whiskey Co. I've long been a fan of their Rye (the only 100% rye in America), but the tour helped me understand more about their business.
As a 'craft distillery', they are required to use at least 50% Washington state ingredients, but they go further, and use 100% - and it shows.
The care and craft they put into their distilling really shows in the final product - I still love the rye, by the American Straight whiskey was delicious, and the vodka was amazing (I'm not generally a vodka drinker) - they say they make a vodka "for whiskey drinkers" so it has more flavor, and is smooth as can be.
The tasting is generous and informative - and the $10 price of it is refunded on the first bottle you buy! The excellent tour is free.

We called into Woodinville Whiskey Co. to have a sample of the fine range they have on offer.
For $10 you can try a selection of their products and we tried their maple syrup (which was to die for! It was amazing) and their vodka (wish I could have taken a bottle back to the UK)
If you are travelling to Washington, try and get out to Woodinville area and you have to stop off here, even if you don't like whiskey, just for the maple syrup.

Each time we have gone we have not gone away hungry. The Whiskey is really good also. And they had a parking attendant the day we went because there was a concert next door. It worked out really well not having to find a spot to park.

We hit this place at the end of a chilly winter day of stops at brewery, winery and now a distillery, so we were getting a little saturated. Still, the staff were personable and knowledgeable. The price for a tasting only $5. The products were quite good even though we're more into vodka and gin. If you want to sample quality "brown" spirits while in the Woodinville area, this seems to be the place that everyone goes. And don't forget to taste the maple syrup!

We stopped here and found a wonderful rye to take home. Sometimes you just have too much wine! We also like the pricey but yummy maple syrup mixed with bourbon... and can’t wait to have some pancakes!
Lovely spot and great T shirts, too!

Although we were not able to go on a tour (I believe they only offer tours on Saturday), we stilled gained a great education on the making and naming of Whiskey. I tried a flight of four whiskeys for $10 and I surprised myself with what I liked most...Rye Whiskey.
Ended up buying a bottle for myself and more for gifts along with t-shirts. Fun place and well worth the visit.

For now, Not so impressed, but that's only because it's a relatively new brand with not that many variations and ages.
Just have a quick look around and try the maple syrup!

Taking a respite from the wineries, we stopped at the Woodinville Whiskey Co and had fun tasting their whiskey's and honey. Yes - I said honey and it was very good. It was a good experience and we enjoyed the tastes.

A great tasting room. Great food next door and they also serve woodinville whiskers products. Don't forget to buy their maple syrup.

The Woodinville Whiskey Company is one of my favorite places to visit in Woodinville. The bourbons and whiskeys here are top notch. We were lucky enough to have Alex as our pourer and overall expert in the whiskeys and this company. Alex was unbelievable and had all of us listening to her stories and technical information on how these drinks were made!! Lots of cool shirts and jackets emblazoned with the Woodinville Whiskey trademark!!! With all the wines and beers in the area, having this super distillery there is an added bonus!!! Please visit and try!!!!!

Located in the small community of Woodinville is a small whiskey craft distillery. Rated by Seattle Magazine as the best local distillery. Stop by the tasting room and enjoy a sample of the various products. I loved the 100% Rye Whiskey (92 Proof). Nothing is shipped out of the adjacent manufacturing facility do you either pick up the product there or at several different stores in the community such as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Fred Myer, and others. You can also purchased an "Age Your Own Whiskey Kit."

We tasted several whiskeys and I purchased one for my husband. He loved it and it was a nice local tasting room

We just went to a wedding at this great place! The food was excellent and the people who worked there did an excellent job!

After tasting the many wines offered at tasting rooms in Woodinville, a little whisky is a nice change. The bourbon may have been just average but learning about the process while imbibing is quite fun. The vodka with the butterscotch overtones was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and there are nice souvenirs for purchase. You can actually see the vats at work.

Great tasting tour .. Stayed at willows lodge next door .. This was my favorite .. Whiskey vodka bourbon and honey what's not to like.. The people were very knowledgeable and made it such a fun experience .. Bought some great gifts for my hubby who loves the bourbon . Wonder if you can order online hehe

Im a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, but after tasting there their whiskey maple syrup was my holiday gift to all my friends and family!

I had never been to a whiskey tasting before, but it was really good. They were really busy and only had one staff member doing tastings so it took longer than it should have, but she was extremely knowledgeable and kind. We actually ended up buying a bottle of one of their whiskeys (and the maple syrup which I highly recommend)

My husband and I had a date night and stopped by the Woodinville Whiskey Co. We had a great time, friendly and quick service and they answered all the questions we had. Fun night out!

We had driven by here so many times after finally stopping in. While it was a fun atmosphere, drinks were ok and the menu was not what we had hoped for. The coolest looking place, great outside area to have conversations, but go for apps and beer.

It's a far cry from the Smokey Joes Tavern that used to be on the property. The tasting room is a quiet place and the attached restaurant run by the same people who do the Skillet food truck has great apps. The "porch" is a nice place to hang out on nice weather days with drinks and finger food. Been there for Sunday Brunch too, which is a bit over priced, but the quality of the food is good.

We live in the area and often take guests to visit some of the wineries in the area. Woodinville Whiskey is usually our first stop. It is a great little distillery that makes some outstanding product. In a tasting, you usually sample a Rye, Bourbon, Whiskey and Vodka as well as some incredible Bourbon Maple Syrup that has become a family favorite. I know that they offer a tour, but it has never coincided with our visits. If you are hungry the small tavern next door is also very goos and you don't need to leave the parking lot as it is shared by the two businesses.

I stopped in for a taste of whiskey and was NOT disappointed at all!!! The taste was really really good and my tasting server was excellent!! Four tastes and the last one was followed with a shot of pure maple syrup and it was great!! I also bought one of their hoodies to wear this winter!!!! I love this place....it's so tasty!!!!!!!

If you like bourbon, you might want to sto in and taste the Woodinville bourbon. I visited the distillery on a recent trip to the area after having just been to the the Woodford Reserve distillery in Kentucky. My husband and I both agreed that they are on the right track and we can't wait for the release of the big barrel bourbon! What they have available now is quite smooth. They also distill a vodka perfectly suited for sipping..if you are a fan of butterscotch you will love it. All in all a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

The tour was excellent and very interesting and informative. The entire operation is fascinating. After the tour, we tried the whiskeys and there were clear favorites. We asked to try the vodka as well and ended up buying a bottle. The American whiskey was preferred of the four offered in the tasting room. It is a great place to stop when in the area. Even if your first love is wine or beer it is quite interesting to hear about their operation.
The Hollywood Tavern is next door and it offers a wide range of foods.

food was great and their rye whiskey is b4etter than the ones I tried in Ireland :)
The are in Woodinville is surrounded by hills and wineries. spend a day or two in Woodinville.

Great architecture and tasting! I always love giving the bourbon barrel aged maple syrup as gifts. You will love experiencing this place!

Definitely stop here. But, have at least one person no drink. The pours are extremely generous and quite good. I have been a few times and always enjoy the atmosphere and their latest products.

We were here 3 years ago and I was excited to go back and try again since we love whiskey. They had moved to a new, larger location since the last time we were here and they had some new things to try. The building is beautiful and when the door to the distillery opened you could smell the mash-which I thought was cool. Unfortunately my husband and I were unimpressed by the whiskey itself. I am not enough of an expert to explain why, I just never took a sip and said 'that was some good whiskey'. Usually bourbon is my favorite but theirs was very sweet tasting and the straight American was (in my opinion)much too bland and mild. The vodka was interesting. I hate vodka but this was the best vodka I've ever tasted, with a milder creamy taste. We also got to taste the barrel aged maple syrup and it was seriously delicious. Overall I would be interested to (maybe) try again but only one at a time to see if the intermingling of flavors was the problem. Tasting was $10 which you could put toward your bottle purchase if you wished.

Good whiskey- horrible service.
Had no interest in educating us about their whiskey.
Poured and looked away.
Bought 4 bottles - could've felt better.

Great adult food. Whiskey milkshakes are outstanding. They can even make Brussels sprouts taste good with honey and chili peppers. Outdoor seating with big fire pit sets a great atmosphere in the warmer months.

The place had grown a bit and while still smaller than the big players, has lost a little of the uniqueness. The best offering was the barrel aged maple syrup and simple syrup - that was fun to try!

Went here with some friends in April 2015. We took the afternoon tour (which lasts about 30 minutes) and did the tasting afterward (costs $5). We ended up buying some vodka. Parking is difficult. If you aren't able to park in the lot, turn right out the driveway (traffic is supposed to go one way through the lot) and then take the first left. Turn left into the first driveway you see. This is actually the far end Columbia Winery's parking lot. Hopefully they don't mind spillover parking from Woodinville Whiskey Co, but if you're worried about it, stop in at Columbia Winery. That is a great place to go wine tasting!

This is awesome distillery is nested in the Woodinville, WA wine tasting corridor. You pay around $5 to taste their 4 or so spirits and their maple syrup (which makes use of used bourbon casks). It (and the very near Redhook Brewery) make a great break from the numerous wine tasting rooms. If you like wine, but your significant other prefers whisky/beer, you might entice them to go wine tasting if you're willing to make a stop here. It is also right next door to a great little tavern (Hollywood Tavern) that serves good food.

We came here for a tasting for my wife's birthday. On the one hand, I would not by any means call myself an expert on whiskey. On the other hand, I do keep several brands on hand at home, so I'm not exactly going in totally blind either. That said, this was easily some of the best whiskey I've ever had, and the tasting experience was absolutely worth it. At $10 a flight, it was something I would happily and heartily recommend without hesitation.
The one footnote I'll add is that tours were not available for us due to COVID-19, so I don't know when that restriction will be lifted.

This tour was super! We learned so much and it is really fascinating. The whiskey is quite tasty also

This is not like a wine tasting. It's better. Whiskey is still made in barrels and aged but with a more powerful end result. $5 for the tasting and you get that much off if you buy a bottle. Oddly enough. I found the vodka my favorite. It's not flavored but you can smell vanilla. The whiskey was smooth served by knowledgeable people. The honey that they served was also a treat. Great experience.

Excellent food, excellent experience - and oh my goodness, the vodka is just about - no change that - the vodka is absolutely delicious. The best I’ve ever had. I have to figure out a way to order it on their website or somebody else’s - I didn’t see it there...
I love Woodinville, but it’s about a 45 minute drive from where I live.
I’d take it over Tito’s, Skyy, Absolut , Grey Goose, Stolie, etc.

We sampled the different whiskey
And we were very impressed with
What we sampled...
They also had made there own maple syrup which was delicious !
We had to purchase a bottle of both!
A wonderful place to visit and learn
All about the art of making whiskey!
I look forward to returning !

If you like whiskey it's worth the tasting fee. It's a beautiful distillery, and delicious whiskey. Washington State will absolutely rob you blind with their liquor tax, but I recommend buying a bottle.

Had a Great time! Make sure you do the bourbon tasting, it’s worth it. There is a short tour you can also take. #travelendlessbeauty

My husband and I visited after reading about their facility online. What an awesome place! We had a great tour by Matt who was so excited to share his knowledge and experience with us. Their newly released bourbon and rye are fantastic and the tasting room is beautiful. Glad to see they're doing well, would love to return one day!

Stop by the Woodinville Whiskey Company to break up the wine tour. They let you sample their whiskey, rye and vodka and follow up with some infused maple syrup. There is a very nice tasting room next to the production room.
The copper still is very unique.

We just went here as a last minute decision to do something during our stay. We really enjoyed it! We bought a bottle of bourbon and a bottle of syrup. This will be on our to-do list each time we come back to the Seattle area!

Even oenophiles shouldn't miss a stop at this terrific, contemporary craft distillery. For only $5 you get to sample superb spirits and even bourbon maple syrup and honey. Staff are friendly, the premises are lovely, and the whiskey is great. There's even a gift shop of nice merchandise and a tavern restaurant right next door. What else could you ask for??

In December of 2017 we came by to taste on the way to the airport, and while loving both the Whiskey and the Bourbon, they are NOT a carry-on item. This December (2018) we went straight from the airport TO Woodinville Whiskey Co to get a bottle to enjoy over the holidays. It is hard to choose between the Bourbon and the Whiskey as they are both great. And the now-empty bottle IS a carry-on ;-)

What could be a better than drinking whiskey for free during a power outage? Drinking Whiskey for Free during a power outage, that's what. We planned to have dinner next door and try a Whiskey Tasting here before a Chateau Ste. Michelle Concert. Perfect, right? Well little did we know, Mother Nature decided to wreak havoc on our beautiful Pacific Northwest with the first truly powerful storm of the coming fall. Tree roots were exposed by huge trees blown down everywhere. The dry soils just couldn't hold onto the root bases and these toppling trees and in some cases snapped limbs fell onto above ground power lines and even affected the underground services to much of our State due to the surges created by the other problems. So there we are, standing outside the next door (To Woodinville Whiskey) looking at the blacked out conditions of the restaurant we had reservations with, and the dark interior of Woodinville Whiskey. But there were people inside, the Whiskey Company that is. They waved us in, had a nearly packed house and apologized for not having lights, or even the ability to (or desire) to charge us for our tastings, which really were quite delicious. They were gracious, accommodating, and gave us second sips for further review. The concert was not cancelled, they have back up power sources, the Whiskey Tasting with The Woodinville Whiskey Company couldn't have been more fun, and their Whiskey's really match up to anything I've tasted. Their small barrels really do make a difference adding wonderful flavors to all their small cask liquors. Great fun, super nice people, and a terrific product. I would recommend this stop to anyone interested in challenging their nose and tongue to the subtle nuances of tastings.

The location is lovely and looks like it would be nice to host an event, although we only stopped in with friends for a tasting. You get a number of whiskey options as well as a vodka and maple syrup. Our server was helpful and educational.

I don't like bourbon, whiskey or rye so I'll leave those comments to someone who does. The barrel-aged maple syrup produced at the Woodinville Whiskey Co. is so delicious Buddy the Elf visits here before Christmas duties! (If you don't get the reference you are a cotton headed ninny muffin that needs to see ELF) In all seriousness, the maple syrup is aged in freshly emptied whiskey barrels and is the best maple syrup I've ever tasted. They also produce a very nice small batch vodka called Peabody Jones. Two unexpected treats at the Woodinville Whiskey Co.

For locals and tourists alike, Woodinville Whiskey is a nice break from the sometimes monotonous weekend treks to visit some of the 100+ wineries and tasting rooms in the area. Having visited Scotland the previous summer and going on distillery tours at Oban and Talisker, I can say that the experience at Woodinville Whiskey stands up to our Scotch experiences very nicely.
Our tour guide provided a history of the distillery, went over the requirements for bourbon (an American whiskey), and then explained the particular process used at WW, the four grains involved, and each piece of equipment. Kids are allowed on the tours (we took our ten-year-old daughter with us), and photos are allowed (a nice change from the distilleries in Scotland). The tour is free, and is currently offered twice a day on the weekends (1 and 3pm).
In the tasting room $5 gets you tastes of their two whiskeys, the vodka, and the whiskey-barrel syrup and honey. We liked the two whiskeys a lot (the regular bourbon slightly more than the rye whiskey), but as other reviewers here have noted, we absolutely *loved* the vodka. Hard to believe it isn't flavored, as the butterscotch notes and smoothness left us nearly speechless. We used our $5 tasting fee toward the purchase of the vodka, and plan to return and get some of the syrup and honey for presents.
Further, by liking Woodinville Whiskey on Facebook, you can learn about regular bottling parties, where they will feed you and provide samples while you bottle the product. At the end of the evening you get a t-shirt and a hefty discount on the spirits you just helped bottle. I'm looking forward to my own opportunity to experience this first-hand, and taking home a couple of bottles of the fine spirits.

My boyfriend and I are not huge liquor drinkers, so we were a little leery about a whiskey tasting, but we were very glad we decided to do it! The gal doing the tastings while we were there was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! The flight itself was not bad, even for non-whiskey drinkers! Both whiskeys and the vodka were quite smooth and actually pretty good! The syrup was amazing. Regretting not buying a bottle. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Did the tour and tastings. Delicious whiskeys and tour guide was very informative and willing to answer all of our questions.

We stop by fairly regularly to taste the latest batch of spirits. Usually we buy a bottle of their bourbon, but this time we bought the rye whiskey. The quality is high. They recently started aging maple syrup in the spent whiskey barrels. It is very tasty. Their vodka is good too, but we really like their whiskey.

My husband and son enjoyed a tasting here while we were visiting a winery in the area. They enjoyed 3 bourbons as part of their tasting for only $5. Hubby is a huge KY bourbon fan so he was pleasantly surprised how much he enjoyed. So much so that he purchased a bottle of their Micro barreled Bourbon.

A fun stop to taste some whiskey and visit with those behind the counter. The tasting counter was crowded, but they are good at answering your questions while you taste. Try the taster tray of 4 and the money you spend on the tray will go towards a bottle (or more) you will more than likely purchase. Oh and have a special occasion coming up? Have a whiskey drinking friend? Buy a customized bottle of your choice of whiskey. It turns out fantastic!

They sell whiskey as well as honey made in spent whiskey barrels.the whiskey was quite nie and the whole experience fun.

Woodinville Whiskey has really come of age!
Tried this product when they first started (several years back), and it was Everclear.
Today's product is smooth and very tasty.
Makes a fabulous Manhattan, too!

The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is I've been to many in Kentucky (sorry Washington). The people were friendly and knew their stuff -options were good and we tasted all of them, this is worth the stop. I agree with another reviewer that this country needs more of these smaller distillers. They are in a beautiful area! You will be happy you stopped by!

It was a very cold day and because of the door opening and closing it was cold in the place. there was a fireplace outside but it was a very cold night so very cold in the
restaurant area..

Went with a friend for a tasting and distillery tour - what a good use of $5! Our tasting menu included bourbon, whiskey, vodka (I don't like vodka but I was shocked at how butterscotch-y theirs is. Very interesting), and bourbon barrel aged maple syrup and honey. Their signature bourbon is very good and easy drinking. If I ever need a gift for a friend who enjoys whiskey, a bottle of this local craft bourbon would be perfect. The maple syrup is divine and I'm struggling to wait for breakfast tomorrow to pour it on pancakes!
The tour took approximately half an hour and was interesting and informative. Would definitely recommend for a fun weekend afternoon activity. They also have a cafe next door.

I come to Seattle area once or twice a year with my girlfriend to visit her father and step-mom and they've been dying to take me here (knowing that I love whiskey). We wanted to do a tour, but unfortunately they were not doing tours that day (I won't hold that against them that we came on the wrong day!), but still the small tasting room had a nice ambiance and the two girls working the counter were very friendly.
We did some tastings (4 pours) and I must say I enjoyed them all. Not the best whiskeys I've ever had in my life, but very good quality made in small batches. The girls working gave us the run down on everything we tried and were knowledgeable about the product.
They also have some souvenirs for sale that normally I would ignore, but there was some good stuff and I appreciated that it was a small, tasteful selection and not just a bunch of crap. I actually bought a t-shirt that is a really nice, soft quality.
Overall, so far so good for Woodinville Whiskey! I think they are on the right path and would be a good spot to keep an eye on what they do in the future if you're a local whiskey fan.

Short but interesting tour. You get up close and personal with the process. But it is not large or complicated so it goes fairly quickly. Now the whiskeys are surprisingly good and worth the trip. And a nice break from the wine.

This a a hidden gem. My husband likes the whiskey and I go for the Whiskey infused maple syrup. They offer tastings and there is food next door.

This has a tasting room and gift shop and is a nice pit stop between wineries. Four whiskeys to taste for $10 but the best part is the maple syrup at the end!

Great place to stop not only for the whiskey but gifts. Bought 2 bottles and extremely satisfied with product.

Busy spot with limited indoor options for tasting, though they have spots outside with a few pop up tents it quickly fills up the parking lot. Great and knowledgeable staff and excellent tasting experience.

We read about this place in the Alaska Airlines magazine yesterday flying up to Seattle. Since we were staying in Bellevue, we decided to give it a try.
The whiskey and rye were outstanding. All smooth and flavorful. I was surprised they also produce a vodka. I am not a big fan of drinking vodka straight as most of it tastes like gasoline to me but this was quite delicious. A hint of vanilla and a smooth finish. I actually bought a bottle. The maple syrup was delicious too. I am not much of a syrup eater but this was really good. Quite expensive but delicious.
We didn't take the tour but will next time we're in town.
Next time you are heading to Red Hook, Columbia or St. Michelle, stop on in. You will be glad you did.

They let our pal Gromit in for a visit and he shared his tasting with me. Left with a bottle of the smoothest vodka and best barrel aged maple syrup I've ever had. Killer whiskey's too. Great front staff!

I'm frustrated with the American spirit industry in that so many 'brands' are just buying spirit and either finishing it themselves or bottling as-is.
The WWC team will show you where the corn is processed and where fermentation happens. They will show you their adorable still.
Fun tasting and generally knowledgeable staff.
(I'm a fan of their rye)
Not bad Whiskeys!!!!!!!
I stopped in at the Woodinville Whiskey Company. I had a sample of four of their bourbons and whiskeys… they were exceptional!!!! It was a fun tasting and the lady I had helping me was very informative. This place is a must stop in the wine area of Woodinville. It was super and I’ll be buying a whiskey to take back to Ohio with me!!!!!!!! Great place right across from the Columbia Winery…
