The higher you go, the clearer and more complete the mountain landscape becomes. It's like a painting. Mountains of various shapes and deep valleys compete to jump into your eyes, the peaks are colorful, strange peaks, rocks, green pines, and those lingering translucent valley clouds and mists, and the countless undulating and winding peaks vaguely visible in the light and shadow, this is the real mountain scenery.

The Huangshan pines are tough and upright, clinging to the green rocks and growing straight and tenaciously. The strange rocks scattered on the top of the peak remain motionless despite the strong wind. The mountain road is actually quite good and not too difficult to walk on.

Going further, you will come across a magnolia tree with white magnolia flowers blooming on it. The graceful magnolia flowers are floating in the air among the undulating mountains and dotted among the green pines and cypresses. The magnolias and pine trees are interdependent, and their elegance perfectly interprets the uprightness, tenacity and grace.

What was a bit unfortunate was that it was drizzling on Huangshan Mountain in the morning when we arrived, and the fog was very thick and heavy, so from the moment we went up the mountain, the entire Beihai Scenic Area was like a masterpiece. We did not see several famous attractions such as the monkey watching the sea, which was a bit regretful, so we just had a quick look around the Beihai Scenic Area.

We saw various strange pines, some tall and some short, with branches and leaves all extending in the same direction; there were also a few little squirrels running around, and if we were lucky, we could get into the photograph; there were also a few uncles sketching pine trees near the Qingliangtai, which was a unique scene.

The peaks and forests of Beihai are very magical, and the pine trees grow particularly luxuriantly in the cracks of the exposed rocks. Many people go to Guangmingding in the morning to watch the sunrise, and have camped or stayed near Beihai. Beihai and the Lion Grove are also good places to watch the sunrise and sunset, with a wide view, and the sun rises and sets among the peaks and forests. At sunrise, the sky is full of colorful clouds, the sky is white, and the clouds are blue. At sunset, the sky is full of red light, and the sky, the earth and the mountains are all red, which is very beautiful.

At 15:10, there were very few tourists going up the mountain at this time. I got into the cable car alone and went up slowly. It took 15 minutes to reach the cable car station - Baieling. I didn't do my homework in advance for this trip, nor did I bring a tour map. Relying on my memory of nine years ago, I followed the road signs and walked along the mountain road to Beihai Scenic Area. After the harp pine, I came to Shisun Ridge to watch the Eighteen Arhats facing the South China Sea. A tour guide was explaining to several tourists that there are more seas of clouds in autumn and winter, but you have to be lucky to meet them. Looking at this gray and cloudy day, I'm afraid there is no hope. After Shixin Peak, another tour guide led a group to explain the dream of writing flowers, saying that the small pine tree on the top withered and is now replaced by a plastic simulation model. At this time, a security guard nearby corrected the tour guide's statement, saying that a real pine tree had been transplanted there in 2004 and he had witnessed the whole process. The tour guide still used the old explanation and quickly apologized to the tourists.

It is better to go up to Beihai from Yungu Temple when you first climb Huangshan Mountain. It is more energy-saving to go downhill all the way. Unfortunately, it was too foggy when I went there, so I didn't see the whole view of Beihai.

Huangshan was originally named "Yishan" because of its dark blue peaks and rocks and its dark blue appearance. Later, it was renamed "Huangshan" because of the legend that Emperor Huangdi once made elixirs here. The representative landscapes of Huangshan are "four wonders and three waterfalls". I came to Baiyun Scenic Area by the ropeway of Yungu Temple, so this is my first impression of Huangshan. In general, there is no famous Welcoming Pine or Guangmingding in Baiyun Scenic Area, but it is enough to make you feel the beauty of Huangshan.

Beihai Scenic Area is very close to Qingliangtai and Shizi Peak, which is especially suitable for watching the sunrise. It is not far from Baieling to Beihai Hotel. The scenery of Beihai Scenic Area is really good.

This is a good relay station and a major traffic artery. In addition to Beihai Hotel, there are toilets, ATMs, and various snacks and hot drinks for sale. You can rest here, eat something hot, and replenish your energy. The north of Beihai Hotel leads to Shuguang Pavilion. The sign says "Shuguang Hotel/Coffee", so pay special attention to this; the south leads to Heihusong, which is where we went; the southwest leads to Guangmingding; and the northwest leads to Xihai Grand Canyon. There is also a super large love lock, and those who are interested can hang a love lock here.

It feels like being in a fairyland. When you see the scene in front of you, you will involuntarily stop, open your eyes wide, and take out your camera to capture the scenery in front of you.

We toured Beihai in the order of Shixin Peak, Beihai Hotel, Qingliang Terrace, and Shizi Peak. We walked and stopped, and felt that each peak was extremely majestic. We had to take photos wherever we went. But when I started to sort out the photos, I found that I could no longer tell which was the scenery of Shixin Peak and which was the scenery of Shizi Peak. The towering mountains, with the blue and white horizon as the background, had clear lines and magnificent momentum. I really had to sigh at the ingenuity of nature!

Beihai Scenic Area has beautiful scenery and gentle mountains, so you won’t feel tired when visiting. The mountains are even more charming under the support of the sea of clouds.

Beihai is said to be the place where the ancient Emperor Xuanyuan ascended to heaven after refining elixirs. The tour guide pointed to one of the mountains and specifically introduced that he ascended to heaven from this mountain. Perhaps because it is impossible to climb up close and can only be viewed from a distance, the Beihai scenic area is relatively less surprising. The scenic spots are purely for your own imagination. For example, Monkey Watching the Sea, Dreaming of Flowers, Smooth Sailing, Nine Dragons Exploring the Sea, and Immortal Pointing the Way. There are many named pine trees in Beihai, such as Unity Pine, Lianli Pine, Black Tiger Pine, Phoenix Tail Pine, and Exploring the Sea Pine. Each pine tree has its own name. We took a group photo under the Unity Pine, which means unity. Walk on the Happy Bridge under the Lianli Pine, which means happiness and satisfaction. Take a photo under the Black Tiger Pine. It is said that men should take more photos of this pine, which means that the tiger is powerful. Women should take fewer photos. Women take more photos, which means that they are a tigress at home!

You must climb the Lion Peak, Danxia Peak, Shixin Peak in Beihai, and the monkeys watching the sea are the most spectacular

We took the cable car (80 people) when we went up the mountain. On a sunny day, you can see Lianhua Peak, Miaobishenghua and other major scenic spots when you take the cable car. But when we went there, the weather was not good. It was raining and foggy, and we didn't see anything. When you look at Huangshan on a foggy and rainy day, you can "look up at the fog, look down at the road. Look at the trees on both sides, and walk after you see them." These 16 words will make you spend a day. What a pity. So it is necessary to go to Huangshan again next time.

After passing the Paiyun Pavilion, we came to the Beihai Scenic Area. It was noon, the sun was shining, and the strange rocks of Beihai were in full view. Instead, I felt it was a bit run-down and not as dangerous as Xihai.

After descending the Shixin Peak and walking quickly past the Black Tiger Pine, we arrived at Beihai.
