This Guangmingding is not the place of contention in the martial arts world in "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", but the second highest peak in Huangshan, with an altitude of 1,860 meters.
It is high and open, with long sunshine, hence the name. You can see the wonders of the East China Sea, the peaks of the West China Sea, and the Tiandu, Lianhua and Aoyu peaks.
Huangshan Meteorological Station, the highest meteorological station in East China, is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and sea of clouds in Huangshan.
Guangmingding is not one of the 36 peaks of Huangshan Mountain because ancient people regarded it as the crown of all peaks and therefore listed it above the 36 peaks.

At around 5pm, we set off from Baiyun Hotel to Guangmingding to enjoy the sunset and the stars. Huangshan sunset, watching the setting sun, the whole Huangshan is surrounded by a golden color, and the scenery displayed at every moment is different. Looking at the clouds, the TV tower in the distance, and the small temple in the distance, all have a sense of tranquility. Stargazing on the top of the mountain, the entire starry sky is spread over your head, lying under the starry sky, feeling that this is the night sky that belongs only to me. At 4am, we watched the sunrise at Guangmingding. It was still dark at this time, and there were occasionally one or two meteors passing by the vast stars. The sunrise at Huangshan is very short, just a few minutes, and you can only see the vastness of Qiongshan, then the silence, and then the warmth. At this moment, a wonderful day has begun.
As there were many people watching the sunset, some excellent viewing spots had been occupied by tourists who arrived earlier. The sunset in Huangshan was around 7:00 pm. Based on the experience of our predecessors, we got up at 3:30, and it was still dark outside. We climbed to Guangmingding again with the flashlight on our mobile phones as a guide. At the top of the mountain in the early morning, the summer mountain breeze blew on our bodies, which was still a bit cold. People who are afraid of cold should wear a coat. At 4 o'clock, some photography enthusiasts had already taken advantage of the sunrise viewing position with their "long guns and short guns" on Guangmingding. We were not too early or too late, so we also got a "piece of the pie". During the time waiting for the sunrise, we were a little excited, and we could look up at the beautiful starry sky. Guangmingding is more than 1,800 meters above sea level, and from time to time there were a few meteors across the sky. As time passed, the east we faced slowly revealed a faint red glow, and the sky also brightened slightly. Around 5 o'clock, an orange-red sun tooth slowly squeezed out from the thick clouds, getting bigger and brighter little by little. From time to time, there were bursts of cheers and applause from the crowd. Finally, an orange-red "duck egg" appeared in front of us. Suddenly, it jumped out of the sea of clouds in less than 5 minutes. After the whole sun came out, it radiated thousands of feet of light, turning the huge Guangmingding into gold.
To get to Guangmingding from Baiyun Hotel, you have to walk up several hundred meters of stairs, which takes about 20 minutes.
Guangmingding is located in the middle of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1,860 meters. It is the second highest peak in Huangshan Mountain, and is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain together with Tiandu Peak and Lianhua Peak. When you hear the name, you will naturally think of Guangmingding, the headquarters of the Mingjiao. There are also unreliable messages asking me to learn the Great Shift of the Universe, but in fact, this place has nothing to do with the Mingjiao. It is named Guangmingding because it is high and open, and the sunlight shines for a long time. This is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in Huangshan Mountain, and it is also the Huangshan Meteorological Observation Station.
The alarm clock set off at four in the morning. After hurriedly washing up, we set out to climb Guangmingding at 4:40 to watch the sunrise. It was still dark and the moon was still clearly visible.
Continue to climb up hundreds of steps, the faint light illuminates the way ahead. When I feel tired, I look up at the sky, and the sky full of stars unexpectedly comes into my sight. It has been a long time since I have seen so many stars, and the visibility is so high. I am destined to see the sunrise today. Thinking of this, I am full of motivation and continue to climb.
We headed straight for the Liandan Peak where we had visited yesterday. We arrived early so there was still a spot at the front. The howling wind on the top of the mountain made us feel shaky. Fortunately, there was a guardrail in front so a few of us sat down to block the wind. Even so, my face was still swollen by the high altitude.
The roads leading to the observation deck on the top of the mountain are all made of stone roads like this. You have to be careful when climbing during the day, let alone at night when there is no light. I didn't bring a flashlight or a headlamp, and I had to rely entirely on the light on the power bank to illuminate the road ahead. I had to use my hands and feet and didn't care about my image because it was dark and no one would recognize me.
The dawn begins to appear gradually in the eastern sky. As the sunrise approaches, the sky and clouds change colors. The clouds change from dark red to orange-red to golden yellow, and the sky changes from dark blue to azure blue to light blue. The sky and clouds intertwine and change. When the sun jumps over the mountain and the sky is filled with light, you will feel that getting up at four o'clock in the morning and enduring the darkness and cold before dawn is all worth it.
Every time I travel, I try not to miss the sunrise and sunset. Some people think it is too cruel, getting up early and going to bed late, suffering from the wind and cold, but the gorgeous sunrise and sunset, that brief moment, is difficult to express in any photos, videos and words. That kind of emotion can only be truly felt by watching it in person.
Guangmingding is the second highest peak in Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1,860 meters. It is named for its high, open and long sunshine. The view from Guangmingding is particularly good. It is not only one of the best places to overlook the magnificent peaks around, but also a good place to watch the sunrise, sunset and sea of clouds. From Guangmingding, you can see the wonders of the East China Sea, the peaks of the West Sea, and the Tiandu, Lianhua, Yuping and Aoyu peaks.
Guangmingding is one of the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. Located in the middle of Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1,860 meters, it is the second highest peak of Huangshan Mountain. It is also known as the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain together with Tiandu Peak and Lianhua Peak. The top is flat and high, and you can see the wonders of the East China Sea, the peaks of the West China Sea, and the peaks of Liandan, Tiandu, Lianhua, Yuping, and Aoyu. In the Ming Dynasty, Monk Pumen once built the Dabei Temple on the top of the mountain, and now the Huangshan Meteorological Station is built on its ruins. Because it is high and open here and the sunlight shines for a long time, it is named Guangmingding. Due to its flat terrain, it is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in Huangshan Mountain.
Guangmingding and Yuzui are my two favorite scenic spots, because you can climb up and look out, especially on a sunny day, when you can see all the small mountains and a hundred miles away. Although Lianhua Peak and Tiandu Peak are also towering into the clouds, they are often not open. Guangmingding is very crowded... It is the most famous scenic spot in Huangshan, and many people take photos... There are many service facilities, you can replenish energy, and it is not too far from Feilai Stone.
There was only a very small space to watch the sunset, so I stood with my legs straight for half an hour. There were people all around me, and I was standing on large uneven rocks.
What was truly stunning was the sunset glow, but the crowds had already dispersed, so few people could experience this beauty! I felt like I had only seen a few sunrises and sunsets in my life.
People have gone far away, this is the most beautiful moment. In the eyes of nature, I am so small, this scene makes me forget my worries.
This "Guangmingding" is not the place of frequent disputes in the martial arts world in "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", but the second highest peak in Huangshan! It is named because of its wide and long-lasting sunlight. The most famous landmark is the Huangshan Meteorological Observatory in the picture above. It is also a famous place to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds on Huangshan. Looking at the starry sky from Guangmingding at night is also a very beautiful picture!
Guangmingding is 1,860 meters above sea level, so how can you not take a photo?
[You can’t see the view of Huangshan Mountain without visiting Guangmingding] Guangmingding is a platform on Huangshan Mountain. It is the watershed (dividing line) between the front and back mountains of Huangshan Mountain. It is the best place to see the "Lotus Peak" and "Tiandu Peak" with a great view.
Guangmingding is a platform on Huangshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1,860 meters. It is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and the second highest peak of Huangshan Mountain, higher than Tiandu Peak. Guangmingding is also the dividing line between the front and back mountains of Huangshan Mountain, which is the only way from the front mountain to the back mountain. Standing here is the best place to see Lianhua Peak and Tiandu Peak. It's a pity that there is too much fog today. In particular, this Guangmingding is not the Guangmingding in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber. Someone told me about the leader of the Demon Sect Zhang Wuji.
Guangmingding is the dividing point between the front and back mountains of Huangshan Mountain. It is the only way from Tianhai to Xihai and Beihai. The height difference from Tianhai to Guangmingding is about 100 meters. The mountain road is only one kilometer. Visitors can climb to the top along the gentle slope. Guangmingding is much flatter than Lianhua Peak and Tiandu Peak. In fact, there is no scenery to see on the top, because it is 1,860 meters above sea level, the second highest peak in Huangshan Mountain, and one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain. Today, Guangmingding is the site of the highest meteorological station in East China, Huangshan Meteorological Station, which was built in the 1950s. In addition to the meteorological station, there is Guangmingding Villa.

Due to its flat terrain, it is one of the best places to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds in Huangshan Mountain. Under excellent weather conditions, the main star of Eridanus can be seen.
Guangmingding is made of the fourth phase of Huangshan granite, with an altitude of 1,860 meters. It is the second highest peak in Huangshan. It is named because of its "high and spacious peak and long sunshine". The Guangmingding-Pingtian Ridge line is the dividing line between the front and back mountains of Huangshan. From here, you can see the majesty of the front mountain and the beauty of the back mountain. Xu Xiake described this place as "an extremely high place, surrounded by steep cliffs on all sides, but this one is like a flat land."
The second highest peak of Huangshan Mountain, a good place to watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was too foggy when we went there and we couldn't see the sunrise. Personally, I think the view of Lotus Peak is better than Guangmingding.
This Guangmingding is not the Guangmingding in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber. This is something that must be made clear, because many people have misunderstood it. Guangmingding is 1,860 meters above sea level and is the second highest peak in Huangshan. Because it is flat, high and wide, and has long sunshine, it is named Guangmingding. In the Ming Dynasty, Monk Pumen once built the Dabei Temple on the top of the mountain. The Huangshan Meteorological Station was built on the site of the Dabei Temple. You can see the Lotus Peak and Tiandu Peak from a distance.

On July 16 and 17, 2023, we passed by here. There was nothing to see when it was foggy.
The second highest peak on Huangshan Mountain has beautiful scenery. The big white ball on the top of the mountain is very conspicuous. It is also a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
If you want to see the sunrise over the sea of clouds, it is better to stay at Baiyun Hotel.
One of the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and also an accommodation hub, it is the best choice to watch the sunrise and sunset of Huangshan Mountain, no doubt about it!
It was worth the trip. It was indeed easier to go up the mountain than to go down.
The best place to watch the sunrise requires staying one night on the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, I didn't see the sunrise.
Guangmingding, the sub-peak of Huangshan, is about 1,700 meters above sea level.
It is flat, high, spacious and open, perfect for watching the sea of clouds and the rising sunrise.
You can enjoy the fantastic scenery of the East China Sea and overlook the majestic mountains of the West China Sea.
Lotus, Turtle, Tiandu and Yuping peaks are all in sight.
It's not the Guangmingding in the novel. It's said to be a signal tower or something. I was exhausted when I arrived at Baiyun Hotel. If you have more energy, you can come and see it.
The famous Guangmingding (1860m above sea level) is a famous spot for watching sunrise and sunset in Huangshan Scenic Area.
Guangmingding in the freezing rain is a different kind of beauty. The perfect fusion of ice, snow and ink painting
I would like to remind you that there is no restaurant on Guangmingding, only a small shop. Don't even think about buying a bowl of instant noodles on the mountain. They don't sell instant noodles on the mountain. They don't even provide hot water.
There were many people on the way up to Guangmingding, most of them were tourists on a one-day tour. After Guangmingding and going to the back of the mountain, there were few people. For a while, I was the only one there, and I was a little scared.
Guangmingding passed by here, and it seemed that it passed by here after all.
Huangshan is quite fun, hahahahahahahahaha
Guangmingding is a highlight of Huangshan Mountain.
A great location to watch the sunrise and sunset, but unfortunately I couldn't find the Mingjiao (mistakenly
A good place to watch the sunrise and sunset, as well as the sea of clouds. Baiyun Hotel and Guangmingding Mountain Villa are nearby
The summit of Huangshan Mountain is so tiring to walk up to. . .
It is said that it got its name because of the bright sunshine and the perfect place to watch the sea of clouds and sunrise. I excitedly took out my camera and climbed up to the viewing platform in the rain, eager to enjoy the infinite scenery at the top of the mountain and watch the magnificent sea of clouds. The viewing platform is a naturally formed huge rock at a high place, flat and spacious, surrounded by cliffs on three sides.
Although the sunrise is not the most beautiful prospect, it is still good
Standing on Guangmingding, you can see golden light as far as the eye can see.
As the sun sets in the west, the clouds reflect the western sky. It is cold and quiet at the top of Guangmingding, but it is not deserted at all. It cannot stop the enthusiasm of the tourists. Thousands of cameras are immediately pointed at the sunset! They capture the sunset glory in the sky.
Guangming Sect, Guangmingding, a must-see place in Huangshan, a place with stories
The only recommendation is to conquer Guangmingding and watch the sunrise and sea of clouds.
Guangmingding is the second highest peak in Huangshan Mountain and the core location of Huangshan Scenic Area. It is the place with the most tourists except Yuping Tower. There are many hotels in and around Guangmingding. The multi-person room in the spherical hotel can accommodate one night. It is very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset here. The stone tablet indicating the altitude is also surrounded by three layers inside and outside. This Guangmingding is not the same place as the Guangmingding in The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.
We went to Guangmingding twice. We watched the sunset on the first day and went there again on the next morning.
I climbed Guangmingding three times in Huangshan. I stayed at Baiyun Hotel at night. The first time I climbed was to see the stars 🌟 and the moon 🌙, and the next morning I climbed Guangmingding again to see the sunrise 🌄; I came down from Guangmingding and returned to Baiyun Hotel to pack my luggage, then climbed Guangmingding again, and then went to Baieling from Guangmingding. I didn't take many photos at Guangmingding during the day! I took photos of the starry sky, sunrise and sea of clouds. It was beautiful and like a fairyland~
The base camp on Mount Huangshan, a place for hikers to rest.

Huangshan Scenic Area is a great place to watch the sunset and sunrise, but the price of dining is too expensive

It is the second highest peak of Huangshan and is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan together with Tiandu Peak and Lianhua Peak. There is a Huangshan Meteorological Station on it. You can see a white ball from a long distance when climbing the mountain. You can see a long sea of clouds here, which looks like the horizon.
This Guangmingding is not the Guangmingding of Mingjiao.
There are many people, tourist groups like to climb this peak, it is also relatively easy to climb, it is a large platform with an observatory on it
After climbing the Five Mountains, you won't see any other mountains. After climbing Huangshan, you won't see any other mountains! Huangshan is very beautiful! But I, who have climbed all of the Five Mountains, think Huashan is the most magnificent! The beauty of Huangshan belongs to the beautiful! Very beautiful! The Huangshan scenic area is very large! It is recommended to stay for two days! Stay on the mountain for one day! ! If you are lucky, you can see the sunrise on the second day! If there is no sunrise, just look at the sea of clouds! If it is foggy, then congratulations, you are as miserable as me! It is just that you can see it for a while and then you can't see it, haha, I went there by myself, strange pines and rocks! When passing by the director, you can listen secretly to understand a few, some of them read the introduction by themselves, and many people took photos with the welcoming pine and so on! But I think the most beautiful scenery is still on the road, don't ignore the scenery on the roadside in pursuit of famous attractions! ! ! Warm reminder, I stayed at the Baiyun Hotel, which is a little expensive! But there are coats in the hotel that can be worn in the morning to watch the sunrise, and the location of the hotel is particularly good! I wore a coat in the morning to go around the Xihai Grand Canyon! Then I came back to return the clothes and check out, and then went down the mountain, basically I didn't go back! It's exactly one circle! I took the ground rail car to get up from the Xihai Grand Canyon. After getting up, I walked a short distance to the Baiyun Hotel.
I got up at 4:30 in the morning and climbed to Guangmingding to wait for the sunrise. But there was a lot of fog and I didn't see the sun until sunrise time [sad]. I wonder if they saw it on other mountain tops. Guangmingding after the sun came out was very beautiful!
After climbing to Guangmingding with great effort, my husband and I were so exhausted that we had no desire to live... All we saw was a big football surrounded by fog.
I got up at 4:30 in the morning and rushed to Guangmingding to watch the sunrise. The place was already full of people and I couldn't squeeze in. The weather was still a little cold in the morning, and it was all white. Despite this, it still couldn't stop everyone's high spirits. In the end, after waiting for most of the day, only clouds and fog came. It also started to drizzle! (Fortunately, I brought a raincoat) It seems that there is no chance of sunrise!
I saw the sunset, but there was no sunset glow, which was not perfect. Many people choose to rent tents at the foot of the mountain to live up there. It is still very cold on the mountain, so I suggest you stay in an inn.
In Huangshan, as long as you see the huge spherical sign of the weather station, you can easily determine the direction of Guangmingding. At the end of the year, the largest viewing platform on Huangshan, a must-go place for tourists, is now only occupied by a few people. This is the best place to watch the sunrise and sunset, the night sky, and the stars. It is also a good place for camping. This was once the site of the Dabei Zen Temple in the Ming Dynasty, but now it has been replaced by the weather station and Guangmingding Mountain Villa.
As night fell, the wind at Guangmingding became stronger and stronger, and my head and ears were buzzing. Perhaps I was overwhelmed by the power of nature, and my disappointment was gradually replaced by excitement.
The night in the mountains came hurriedly, and the sound of the wind also became quiet.
Guangmingding is not the main altar of the Mingjiao in "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" (Kunlun Mountain), but it is very famous. Looking at the flying stone on Guangmingding, it looks like an ink painting after a light rain. The sky gradually darkened, and there was no sunset, only a touch of red clouds on the horizon. The scenic area predicts that the probability of watching the sunset is 40%. It seems that I am not lucky enough to watch the sunset today. I was awakened by the alarm clock and hurried to the window to check the weather. Fortunately, it didn't rain. I went out to try my luck. The sky was still dark, but there were lights on the steps along the way. There were not many people on Guangmingding. I came to the location I had scouted the day before. The sky was slightly bright, but the clouds were very thick; with a little expectation, I watched the sunrise in the east. It felt like the sky was bright, but there was still no sunlight. Just when I wanted to go back, I found that the rising sun flashed in the clouds, and was constantly blocked by the clouds during the rise. The orange-red sunlight was warm and soft, and it was fleeting. I waited until the sky turned white, and I was reluctant to leave Guangmingding. Yes, it depends on luck to see the perfect sunrise.
We chose to rent a tent to stay on the top of the mountain. My husband carried me up there with great difficulty, but the beautiful view the next morning was not disappointing. It was a very beautiful sunrise! ~ It felt very meaningful
If you come here with the novel Guangmingding in mind, then this Guangmingding will definitely disappoint you. But the scenery here is good, and it is indeed a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset. We came up at 17:30 (the campsite is not far from Guangmingding, but to be honest, it feels more tiring to climb the mountain after resting), and the mountain was already full of people. There was a small picture that touched me. On the stone on the top of the mountain full of tourists, a foreigner couple was still kissing passionately for a long time, very long, very romantic. At this time, it was already difficult to find a suitable position to watch the sunset. Finally, I found a position when the sun was about to set. A child said there were ants and was afraid and didn't dare to stand, so I squatted to watch the sunset. The sunset was good, and I recorded it all. However, it also attracted ants and made me itch. The next morning, I followed the crowd to climb up. When I reached Guangmingding, there were many people again.
Here is a reminder, when watching the sunrise at Guangmingding, you must know where the view is good and the direction is right. In fact, I saw in the guide that some people looked in the wrong direction. We squeezed into a position by chance. Plus with a selfie stick, we still recorded the whole process of sunrise very completely. PERFECT! I want to emphasize the selfie stick here, it is very important. Otherwise, it would be very uncomfortable to hold the phone high. Especially if you can't get to the first row.
Fortunately, the sky cleared up as soon as we got there, and we saw the floating white clouds, the towering mountains, and the towering welcoming pines. We can't always be hidden and mysterious.
The sunrise time announced by the hotel is 5:30, and it takes about half an hour to reach Guangmingding. I just want to say: Don't believe it!!! The main reason why Guangmingding is called the top is that it is difficult to climb! I can't help but feel scared. If I had seen the sunset the night before, I would never climb Guangmingding today. It is really difficult to climb. My mother was able to climb up because there was no light at 5 o'clock and she couldn't see the top clearly. So she scolded me and my father for tricking her to go up while coming down, hahahaha. We got up at about 4:40. There was a military coat in the closet in the room. It is recommended to bring a bottle of water. It is still very physically demanding to start climbing without breakfast. After going up, there were crowds of people. This is why I also recommend staying in Guangmingding Villa. If you are tired enough on the first day, you can be less tired on the second day. I kept jumping up and down to find a place, and waited until about 5:30 when the sun finally appeared from the sea of clouds, and the voices were boiling! This should be the first time I have seen a complete sunrise in my memory. The light gradually enlarged, and my heart was empty and bright with the sky. I highly recommend it! Guangmingding is the peak with the longest sunshine time in Huangshan Mountain and the second highest peak in Huangshan Mountain. When the weather is good, you can basically see the big and small peaks of Huangshan Mountain from Guangmingding, which is refreshing. It was still early when we got to the platform from the top, so my dad and I decided to go to Feilaishi to have a look. We also planned not to go back. Guangmingding is too difficult to climb and it makes people scared.
When we went out, the hotel scrolled in red letters saying that the probability of sunrise was 40%. A staff member stood at the door of the hotel. He said very confidently that in this weather, you can't see the sunrise even if you go today. We climbed Guangmingding all the way without paying attention. What I want to say is that since we hold the hope of seeing the sunrise, we must be determined no matter what. There are sunny days when we can't see the sunrise, and there are rainy days when the clouds can be cleared. Whether we can see it or not is really uncertain. Since we are here, don't let yourself regret it. When walking halfway up the mountain, you can see a very faint purple on the horizon. I thought maybe there is hope! Speed up the pace. There are not many people at the top, and the fence is not full of people, so I took a small C position and was fortunate to take pictures of the whole process of sunrise. Everyone was very excited when the clouds were cleared! After the sunrise, some people dispersed, but we really like the scenery under the clear sky, overlooking the small mountains, the clouds, the mountains, and the mountains. Because of greed for such scenery, we have the opportunity to see the very rare and fleeting Buddha light. We were just about to go down the mountain when the clouds gradually came up again. The tourists who had just come up might miss the view. It seems that the early bird catches the worm.
We were the first to arrive at the sunrise viewing platform, and we had the best view. The horizon before sunrise was red, and then the clouds changed, which was also very beautiful. After waiting for a long time, someone finally shouted, "The sunrise has come out!" I can't describe that moment, it was really more beautiful than I imagined. It was like an orange duck egg yolk, so bright and gorgeous, but the camera couldn't capture its true light at all. Well, it was the first time I watched the sunrise in my life.
The hotel, scenic spots, and WeChat public accounts have reminders of the sunrise and sunset times of each month. Watching the sunrise and sunset depends on luck. If it is cloudy, thunderstorms, or other bad weather, you can't see it at all. I was woken up by other roommates at around 4:30 in the morning. We simply washed up and dressed and headed to Guangmingding. It was still quite cold on the mountain in the early morning. I put on two T-shirts and a sunscreen jacket. Watching the sunrise is really exciting. It was the first time in my life to watch the sunrise on the top of the mountain. The waiting process cannot be expressed in words. Many people said that there would be no sunrise because there were always a lot of clouds. Later, with a scream, I saw a corner of the sun. I was very excited at the time. We saw both the sunrise and sunset, and it was worth the trip.
Many people have gathered on the flat open space on the top of the mountain. To watch the sunrise, everyone wrapped themselves in whatever they could wear, down jackets with shorts, hotel towels became wrap skirts, and some people even put quilts on themselves. They all tried their best to watch the sunrise. The sky was particularly clear, with a thin crescent moon hanging in the sky, and the rising and setting of the sun and the moon appeared in the same lens. There was a straight dividing line between the sea of clouds and the sky, and everyone stared at the brightest point. It got brighter, brighter, and brighter. The sun poked its head out on time at 5:07 as predicted, not from the back of the sea of clouds but from the middle. It was red like a soft egg yolk, and like a red balloon. Don't look around, and don't just take pictures. There is still a big difference between what you see in the lens and what you see in reality. The round red ball broke free from the entanglement of clouds and mist little by little, and people held their breath, as if they were expecting the birth of a new life. The red ball finally jumped out of the sea of clouds. Because the air was clean, the sky was bright and the sun was shining through the clouds. The strange peaks and rocks that were hiding behind the clouds yesterday were suddenly covered with colorful clothes and magnificent. The sea of clouds in the distance was rolling, and it really felt like riding the clouds and flying like a crane!
The sunset was at 7 o'clock, so I thought I would wait at Guangmingding until 7 o'clock, just in case the sun came out again. I really waited until 7 o'clock, although it was not very spectacular, haha.
We rushed to Guangmingding, but found the scenery was relatively ordinary. I felt that the fame of the three words "Guangmingding" was over-exaggerated by martial arts novels. What is more special is the meteorological management office located here. I wonder if it will provide inspiration for a World Cup.
Sunrise is at 5:20, and I got up at 4:30. The weather in Huangshan is very unstable. It was foggy all day, and it was windy and rainy at night. The hotel said that the probability of seeing the sunrise was 40%. When I went out in the morning, it was dark and foggy. I thought I couldn't see the sunrise. Surprisingly, after reaching the top of Guangmingding, the fog slowly dissipated, and slowly it became cloudless. In the end, I could actually see the sunrise. It was amazing! ! ! ! Hahahaha, so lucky, I even saw the sea of clouds! After watching the sunrise, it was foggy, and we were still very lucky.
It's nothing like what I thought. Where's Zhang Wuji? There's no Zhao Min, no Green Winged Bat King, and even less the Golden Lion King. How come this ball is so fat!!! Bad review!!! I worked so hard to climb up here, and you give me a weather ball!!
Guangmingding is located at a high altitude and is a good place to enjoy the scenery. The blue sky and white clouds on Guangmingding seem to be within reach. At 6:30, I went to Guangmingding to watch the sunset, but it was all foggy and I couldn't see the sun. The only difference was the change in light before and after sunset. The next day, I got up at 4:30 to watch the sunrise. At first, it was still foggy, but in that instant, the crowd was filled with joy and the view in front of me suddenly became bright.
We stepped onto Guangmingding. Seeing the altitude monument, my husband first found a place to sit down and rest for a while, while I ran to the high platform in front of Guangmingding. The rising white mist had already hidden the Lotus Peak and Tiandu Peak, and only Aoyu Peak could still reveal some charm. Looking back at the front of Guangmingding, it was still very lively.
Guangmingding is said to be the best place to see Huangshan. There are beds available at Guangmingding that can be booked in advance for just over 100 yuan, or you can bring your own tent to find a place to camp at Guangmingding. Camping in other places will require a site fee! There are beds in Guangmingding, just like the dormitory when I was in school.
To get to Guangmingding, you have to walk all the way up from Baiyun Hotel, which is also a kind of torture. However, the scenery of Guangmingding is worth the hard work. You can see the scenery of the entire Huangshan Mountain, the valley, the Anhui Radio Station Transmitter Station, Lianhua Peak, Tiandu Peak, and Aoyu Peak. No wonder everyone chooses to watch the sunrise and sunset here, and the observation deck here is really big. If you want to find a good camera position, it is definitely possible as long as you arrive a little earlier... Unlike at Danxia Peak, it is super dangerous to fight for a position.
We stayed at Guangmingding for more than 30 minutes, and had a panoramic view of the beautiful mountains. Standing there, we could clearly see the Lotus Peak, Tiandu Peak, Aoyu Peak, and Danxia Peak. We wanted to wait for the rain, but it seemed that it would not rain for at least an hour or two. On the way to go down the mountain, we saw the sun being swallowed by clouds.
At around 6:00, we were waiting to watch the sunset on the helipad next to Guangmingding. Unfortunately, there were too many clouds. We saw a beautiful sunset glow, but we didn't see the complete sunset. At around 8:00, my companions said that the starry sky was beautiful, so we went out to see it. It had been a long time since I saw such a beautiful starry sky, so I started looking for constellations on my phone, including the Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Altair and Vega. I kept looking up, and my neck hurt, but I still wanted to continue watching... I got up at 4:30 the next morning. Compared with the openness of the Golden Summit of Mount Emei, there are not many places to watch the sunrise on Guangmingding of Huangshan. When we finished washing up and went there, the front row was already full of people, and we could only barely see it. The predicted sunrise time was 5:11. Until 5:00, there were still many clouds on the eastern horizon. Just when everyone thought they couldn't see it, a small tip of the sun suddenly appeared, and the red color immediately caused everyone to cheer, and then everyone held their breath and began to appreciate this short and beautiful sunrise on Huangshan.
At 3:00, some people had already woken up. My daughter and I took our cellphone flashlights to Guangmingding. We walked and rested along the 500-meter steps. There were not too many people at Guangmingding. There was no light and the wind was strong. Gradually, more and more people came. We were lucky enough to see the sunrise slowly rising. It was beautiful and spectacular. However, the pixel of the cellphone was too poor, so the effect was too different from the real scene. Although it is summer, it is best to wear a coat. It is still quite cold in the morning and evening.
No matter how tactful the words are, they cannot describe the beauty of Huangshan Mountain. No matter how melodious the song is, it cannot express the feelings in my heart. I just climbed to the top of Guangmingding, facing such scenery and feelings, I have to say something. Sunset at Guangmingding: The sun left his work station for the day little by little, slowly forming an aurora, setting off Huangshan Mountain and illuminating my soul.
Sunset at Guangmingding - the saturation drops to a very low level to see a full circle, in fact, it was not so dark at that time. The next day, it was sunny and I went to Guangmingding for a stroll. After the sun came out completely, there were not many people at Guangmingding, and it was all yours.
We went to Guangmingding to watch the sunset, but the clouds were too thick and we only saw a little light. There was some lightning, but we didn't take any photos. The next day we got up at 4 o'clock, put on a jacket (it's a must, the higher the mountain, the colder it is, and it's early in the morning) and went out. We found a good location, not necessarily a high point, as long as we can see the panoramic view. We stood in the cold wind for 40 minutes, my God!
I saw the sunrise and the sea of clouds. Wow, I was so lucky.
If you live on Guangmingding, you can get a good spot if you get up at 4am (it is recommended that you bring your own thick, short and light top, otherwise it will be cumbersome to climb. I wore a raincoat and was sweating all over when I got to Guangmingding. The wind at Guangmingding is strong and cold, and people with poor physical fitness can easily catch a cold, so you must wear your own warm clothes)
Things on the mountain are OK, not particularly expensive. I bought eight-treasure porridge for 15 yuan and biscuits for 15 yuan, which is acceptable! It is recommended to bring some light food up the mountain. If it is heavy, just buy it on the mountain, otherwise the luggage is really heavy. It's a pity! I still didn't see the sunset. Due to the weather, I didn't catch up with Guangmingding before the sunset. I got up before 4:30 the next day, and the position I occupied was not bad. Of course, I had to be more active to see the sunrise, but it was pitch black outside the door of the hotel! I didn't dare to go down alone, and suddenly I saw the lights below, so I followed them down, otherwise I really didn't dare to go. The sky gradually brightened, and it became brighter. After waiting for nearly an hour, the sun was finally coming out, and it came out! Everyone was taking pictures, it was beautiful, and that scene was unforgettable in this life. The scenery in the morning was also particularly charming, especially on sunny days. I heard from the tour guide that there was a tourist who climbed Huangshan several times before, but didn't see the sunrise, so we are still very lucky! It is recommended that you must check the weather when visiting. Otherwise, it would be a pity if you climbed up so hard but couldn't see the sunrise, sunset or other scenery! After all, you spent a lot of money and traveled a long way.
