Baihujian Natural Scenic Area is located in Yangfang Town, Changping District, and belongs to the remnant of Taihang Mountain. With a total area of ​​4.6 million square meters and the highest peak of 850 meters, the scenic area has scattered peaks and magnificent mountains. It is known as "Shenling Qianfeng" and is one of the famous "Eight Scenic Spots of Yanping". The boundless mountains, boundless sea of ​​clouds, strange stones, secluded valleys, and towering trees are the unique scenery of the scenic area. The three scenic lines of the scenic area are the beautiful peaks, deep valleys, and flowing streams. The soul of the thousand peaks, "Zhuyi Mountain", was named because Jin Zhangzong visited here and personally inscribed the two words "Zhuyi". The scenic area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and only the southeast direction is a plain. The unique terrain has formed a microclimate different from the outside world. The scenic area is steep and rugged, with strange peaks and caves everywhere, lush trees, flowers and fruits, winding valleys, strange rocks and beautiful mountains and rivers.

There are several locust trees at the entrance of the scenic area, which emit bursts of fragrance. In the distance, there are undulating mountains, and nearby there are crowds of tourists. The Baihujian scenic area is very large, and the ticket price is 60 yuan, which is included in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Tourism Annual Card.

The Back Garden Scenic Area is very large and is mainly divided into two lines connected by north and south. The north line has the Wanfu Ladder, a straight climb built on the cliff, which is rarely seen in other mountains in Beijing. The entrance of the scenic area is 150 meters above sea level. The top of the Wanfu Ladder is 420 meters above sea level. There is almost no place to rest for more than 200 meters of continuous climbing. People who like hiking must not miss it. The highest point of the south line is 550 meters above sea level. The slope above 400 meters on the south line is very steep, and the road surface is severely damaged. It is difficult to walk, and you need to use your hands and feet to move forward slowly. Overall, the Back Garden Scenic Area is not bad and is suitable for hiking.

It's not good. I was very disappointed when I went there. I read the reviews saying that Beijing's back garden is beautiful, but I didn't feel that the service is almost non-existent. If you don't want to climb the mountain, don't go. It's all mountain roads, and it's still the original ecological ones. The road signs are not clear. There is a road that ends at a wild grave. There are no trash cans or garbage in the park. There is no one to clean up the peach blossoms. Many of the Eighteen Ponds have no water and are very small. They are basically small puddles.

I went there with my friends in May when it was open for free for some reason. I felt that the scenic area had not been developed too much, and it retained a lot of natural original scenery. It was not far from the city, and it was more suitable for friends who like mountain climbing. Of course, it is a small scenic area after all, and most of the locals come to play. Inexplicably, I followed the flow of people to the unopened area. Although the mountain road was very dangerous, the feeling of reaching the top was still very good. It was just too strenuous to go down the mountain, and there was no road. I could only team up with a few tourists and follow the red rope marks left by the hikers who loved to climb wild mountains before. Finally, I was able to go down the mountain, but miraculously found that I was already in another scenic area-Phoenix Ridge.

I came to this scenic spot while eating shabu-shabu in Yangfang. You can bring your dog to the scenic spot. The ticket price of this scenic spot is 60 yuan. There is a person guarding the entrance to check the ticket. Most of them have annual cards. The elderly don’t need to pay. Scan WeChat for 30 yuan. The ticket pricing and ticket checking of the scenic spot are very fake, like a wild mountain in the village. The parking lot is a dirt road and is free. The scenic spot should be unpopular and gradually abandoned. What are the Eighteen Ponds and Black Dragon Pond? There are only small puddles. I am drunk. It’s a pitfall scenic spot... If you can’t bring your dog, I don’t want to come even for 5 yuan. It’s better to go to a park in the city...

Going here is just to climb the mountain, there are no great facilities to speak of, and the management is not very good, it's almost the same as a wild mountain. Most people who come here come with an annual tourist pass. It would be a waste if you don't come. Just take a look, you can't waste the annual pass anyway. I've been here several times in the past few years, you can see it by looking at the dates on the photos. I hope to communicate with you.

The ticket to Baihujian Scenic Area is 60 yuan, which is quite expensive! My second brother and I both have annual passes, so we didn't have to pay. We parked the car and entered the scenic area from a more distinctive platform.

After entering and looking at the tour map, I realized that the platform we passed was called "Shushan Square"



It was our first time to visit Baihujian, and we didn't know how to visit it, so we chatted with the tourists who were exercising there. It seemed that everyone mentioned a scenic spot, which was the "ladder to heaven".

So we walked along the corridor of the scenic area. It is said that after seeing a jeep, go to the right and you will reach the ladder. Could it be that the jeep is a sign? I didn't see it on the ground? Oh... So...

Going along the path on the right side of the jeep, you can see the "ladder to heaven" that seems to be "hanging" on the mountain wall. Frequent hikers told me that conservatively speaking, it takes 8 minutes to reach the top, and if it is competitive, it will take about 5 or 6 minutes; I asked other hikers who were going down the mountain, and they all said it would take about half an hour to forty minutes. What do you think?

I have been climbing wild mountains alone recently, and I didn't take this seriously. But having said that, it's really tiring to climb all the steps, and there is no fun. Besides, if you are not alone, you have to show your strength, so the pace is not under your control, which is tiring. Otherwise, if you walk and stop by yourself, I guess there will be no reaction. (Many people say that after walking, their legs are not their own)

I crawled quickly, and once I passed the tourists, I would find an opportunity to sit down and rest, or pretend to take pictures, which would also allow me to stop. After all, I was carrying a heavy SLR camera! I didn't know how many steps there were in total, so I asked my second brother casually. He replied breathlessly: Are you sick? Why are you counting them?

We both calculated the time. It would take about 20 minutes from the first step at the foot of the mountain to the platform at the top of the mountain. It was impossible not to stop, so we just took a few breaks.

On the left side of the platform is a dangerous hill where tourists are prohibited from passing. Seeing this hill reminded me of the top of Dayang Mountain, which I climbed last weekend, and I still feel scared.

After eating and drinking, I walked to the top of the mountain. There was nothing on the top of the mountain except a flat land. There seemed to be a building, but I didn't know what it was used for. It was abandoned there (probably not completed).

There are three ways to go down the mountain: the first is to go back the same way, or go down the ladder. Neither of us thought of this!

There are two roads behind the mountain, one goes to the left and the other goes to the right. Looking at the tourist map, I think going to the right should be closer, right? (I mainly go to the left, it seems wilder, I'm afraid I'll get lost)

Going down the mountain from the right, I felt that the scenic spot was still under construction. Isn't Baihujian very famous and an old-fashioned back garden? It was so shabby inside that I immediately felt that the 60 yuan was not worth it.

The road signs in the scenic area are basically free. I can't understand them, but many of them are incorrect, and they are not even for reference.

We analyzed it for a long time, and fortunately we met construction workers on the road and confirmed that we were in the right place. So we went from entering the scenic area - going up the ladder - going down the mountain and turning right - turning back to the ladder - leaving the scenic area.

It's a nice place, on the northern foot of Phoenix Ridge, quite nice.

It was raining on a rainy day and we stayed at home. After lunch, although it was cloudy but there was no rain, we went out for a walk. We can't go too far, and suddenly I thought of this place. I always passed by but never came here before. The ticket is a bit expensive. I was a little disappointed when I just entered the door. The artificial flower beds are of various shapes, and the vegetation such as roses and chrysanthemums is obviously neglected and looks a bit messy; the artificially repaired pools of different sizes are really disappointing. However, the breath of nature gradually emerges as we continue to go up, and artificial traces become an auxiliary tool for climbing. Catch up with a small rain the night before, all the way up, the sound of mountain springs is endless, and they appear on the side of the road from left to right. One after another small pools can be seen everywhere in the mountains, of different sizes, some are clear and some are deep and green. There is some reason for the scenic spot to be named Eighteen Pools, but the number is far more than eighteen. Although the trees in the mountains cannot be described as thick and sturdy, they are certainly lush and dense. The trees I can identify are poplars, elms, locust trees, persimmon trees, and walnut trees. I am sorry that I don’t know the others because of my limited knowledge. As for the wild flowers on the roadside, I only know that they are beautiful but don’t know their names. As we continued to go up along the forest path, the trees gradually became sparse, and the large boulders were of different shapes. The mountain road became difficult to walk on. We had limited time and could not continue forward. However, I have planned to find time to go again and climb all the way to the top of the mountain.

To be honest, there is nothing much in the way of public services, and there are not many service staff. But the scenery is great, there are few people, and the air is good, making it a good place to relax.

The ticket is 60 yuan, a little expensive. You can get a 50% discount if you bring the ticket for the second visit. The scenic area is a new one. It used to be a wild mountain, and the road was a dirt road, which was quite wild. The only construction I saw in the scenic area was a wooden plank road that almost went vertically to the top. On the way down the mountain, I saw a mountain spring water point. Many people filled the water and said they would take it back to make tea. I only walked half of the hiking route, and I should go again.

The scenery is beautiful, with peach blossoms, mountain springs, three peaks and strange rocks, a line of sky, and Huoyan Mountain. But the ticket is 60 yuan.

Now it is also called the Old Beijing Back Garden Scenic Area. The scenery in spring, summer and autumn is pretty good, with mountains and water, and a release pond where you can release animals. This year is quite dry, and some ponds have dried up, but there is still a lot of water in two reservoirs. If it is the rainy season, you should be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Eighteen Ponds. There are cherry trees, pear trees, walnut trees, persimmon trees, apricot trees and other fruit trees in the scenic area, as well as wild vegetables for picking. Now is the season when mulberries are ripe, and mulberries are very sweet, but it is not very convenient to go there by car. You have to walk a few kilometers. There is no bus, so it is better to drive by yourself. There is free parking. There is a restaurant at the entrance of the scenic area. The chicken stewed in a wood-fired pot smells very fragrant. You can stay in the scenic area, and it is very pleasant to see the mountain scenery and listen to the mountain breeze. Compared with many parks, there are few people here, which is a big advantage. Tickets are bought online for 30, and they cost 60 to buy in the scenic area.

Baihujian Natural Scenic Area is the back garden of Beijing, and the scenery is average. Many Beijingers buy annual tickets and go hiking here on weekends.

Beijing Back Garden was my first time to go there alone, and I felt it was okay. No matter which direction you take the bus to Taitou Village or Yangfang, you have to walk a long way to get to the ticket office at the entrance. If you get off the bus and take a local black taxi, it costs 20 yuan. If you drive or take a taxi, you can drive the car to the entrance at the foot of the mountain at the innermost part.

The scenic area is full of steep rocks, lush trees and fruits, winding valleys, strange rocks and beautiful mountains and rivers. It is a natural oxygen bar and a good place to escape the summer heat.

We planned to have a barbecue there, so we bought the barbecue ingredients ourselves. The barbecue tools can be rented in the scenic area, and the site fee is 10 yuan per person. The following is the RV where we stayed. A major highlight of the scenic area is that you can stay in a duplex RV at night. There are also villas, and the prices vary.

Two days and one night passed quickly and I had a lot of fun. The back garden is a good place to relax. I also saw a stable at the entrance of the village, so I should be able to ride horses. It’s just that time was tight, so I didn’t get to experience it. I still yearn to ride horses, and I believe it will come true. I recommend the back garden to everyone.

Baihujian is still in a semi-developed state, and the roads there are just pieces of stones, which have a wild charm.

Although Baihujian and Fenghuangling are adjacent to each other, they are different in style. The Baihujian cave is unique in its icy and dangerous nature.

It doesn't require too much physical effort, so you can take your children there to play in the small pond. The ticket price is a bit expensive, 60 without discount, but it's okay if you have an annual tourist pass.

I visited this attraction once last year. That time, I went there right after coming down from Jiufeng Mountain, so I didn't have enough time to visit the end. I felt that this attraction was lush and green last time, and I felt a little regretful that I didn't reach the end, so I have always wanted to visit again.

When we went down the mountain, we didn't take the slope of Tiger Mouth. We went down from Tongtian 81 Cave. There were basically caves. Some caves required you to bend down to walk, which was quite interesting. We went down to the bottom of the mountain without realizing it. We played for a while at the foot of the mountain and then went home.

Baihujian Scenic Area is probably a scenic spot that was developed not long ago, and the service facilities are not very complete. Along the way, except for the toilet in the courtyard at the entrance, there is basically no toilet in the scenic area, but there are quite a few trash cans.

Baihujian Natural Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with only the southeast direction being a plain. The unique terrain has created a microclimate here that is different from the outside world.
