Badachu Park

八大处公园

The eight major places are Chang'an Temple, Lingguang Temple, Sanshan Temple, Dabei Temple, Longquan Temple, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave and Zhengguo Temple.
Located outside the Fifth Ring Road in the western suburbs of Beijing, the eight major temples have a long history and are very popular. Chang'an Temple is temporarily closed, while the other seven are open to tourists.
There is a Buddha tooth relic enshrined in Lingguang Temple, one of only two in the world. It is very famous among Buddhist temples and is said to be very effective.
In addition to the Eight Great Places, the recently discovered Cliff Valley is known as the "Ninth Place", on which there are many Buddha and Bodhisattva statues carved during the Ming Dynasty.
The ancient and solemn temple garden is very quiet and beautiful, and there are many ginkgo and maple trees. It is very nice to come here for a walk, sightseeing, climbing and worshiping Buddha in autumn.

Located in the western suburbs of Beijing, it has convenient transportation and is connected to Xiangshan Mountain and Xijiao Forest Park. It is a good place for mountain climbing.

I have been here many times since I was a child, but I didn’t know there were relics in the pagoda. The last time I went there, I found that it was well repaired and there were many devout believers. Climbing the mountain made me feel great.

By Unique |

I went down the mountain slide once. It was pretty good. It was quite interesting.

By Chestnut |

It's just an ordinary park. There's nothing much to recommend. You can go or not.

By Chengsousou |

In November 2007, I went on an autumn trip to Badachu Park with my family. The weather was slightly cool, the leaves were just the right color, and there were not as many people as in the following years. The pollution level in Beijing was not so outrageous at that time. Looking from the halfway point of the mountain, you can still see the city buildings in the distance.

By Artists should not be afraid of heat |

The scenery is nice, but the climb is exhausting.

By Teruko |

There are fewer people than Xiangshan, and it is a good place for hiking. The eight temples are well-renovated, grand and clean. The stupa is the highlight.

Nice, quiet, not hot, I go there almost every week

, to the Dongbianmen section of the remains of the Ming Beijing City Wall. This was once the southeast corner of the inner city wall of Beijing and was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. Walk along the wall from the corner tower to the entrance of the Ming City Wall Ruins Park at No. 9 Chongwenmen East Street. I found that this is actually a 4A scenic spot. I spent 10 yuan to buy a ticket to enter the park and climbed the wall along the horse path. Although there are heavy traces of recent repairs, there are still some old bricks and tiles. You can feel the fun of walking in the ruins. Badachu will go out again on January 31. Take Metro Line 15, transfer to Line 8, transfer to Line 6, and then transfer to Bus No. 489. Get off at Badachu South Station, visit Badachu Park, and start today's mountaineering trip. Badachu Park is composed of Cuiwei Mountain, Pingpo Mountain and Lushi Mountain, the remnants of the Western Hills. There are eight ancient temples in it, namely Chang'an Temple, Lingguang Temple, Sanshan Temple, Dabei Temple, Longquan Temple, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave and Zhengguo Temple, hence the name. After entering the gate and passing the Maitreya statue, start from Yingcui Lake and walk uphill to Lingguang Temple, which was first built during the Dali period of the Tang Dynasty. There is a Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda in it, which enshrines one of the only two Buddha tooth relics in the world. It is one of the centers of worship for Chinese and foreign Buddhists and is very popular. Then go to Dabei Temple, which was built in the Northern Song Dynasty or Liao and Jin Dynasties. It has three courtyards and two towering ginkgo trees in front of the temple. Going uphill, you will reach Longquan Temple, also known as Dragon King Hall, which was first built in the reign of Emperor Renzong of Ming Dynasty, Hongxi Yiji. It has five courtyards, divided into upper, middle and lower floors. In addition to the main hall, Dragon King Hall, there are also Woyou Pavilion, Tingquan Waterside Pavilion, Miaoxiang Courtyard and Huazu Courtyard. The pines and cypresses in the courtyard are so tall that they cover the sun like clouds.

Badachu is located in Shijingshan District, at the southern foot of Beijing Xishan Scenic Area. It has a long history and picturesque scenery. It is famous for the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda located inside it. Badachu means eight Buddhist temples. Currently, one of them, Chang'an Temple, has not been restored and is located outside the park and is not open. The other two to eight are all inside the park. The second one, Lingguang Temple, is a temple dedicated to the Buddha's tooth relic. Currently, there are only two Buddha tooth relics of Sakyamuni in the world, so the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda in Lingguang Temple is a place where Buddhist monks all over the world worship and it is very popular. From the second place, along Cuiwei Mountain and Pingpo Mountain, winding up, there are three Sanshan Temples, four Dabei Temples, five Longquan Temples, six Xiangjie Temples and seven Baozhu Caves. So far, you have reached the top of the mountain. The mountain scenery and the temples echo each other, and tourists are endless.

The second to seventh places are on the left side of the park gate, while the eighth place Zhengguo Temple takes a different route, which is on the right side after entering the park gate and passing Yingcui Lake. The road to the eighth place is quiet and peaceful, with few tourists and chirping birds on the road. Zhengguo Temple is the oldest temple in Badachu. It is located on the waist of Lushi Mountain. It was built in the Sui and Tang Dynasties (one says it was during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, and the other says it was during the Renshou period of the Sui Dynasty). After generations of restoration and reconstruction, only the Heavenly King Hall and the Main Hall are open to the public. The Heavenly King Hall enshrines the two generals Heng and Ha, and the Main Hall enshrines the Three Buddhas. The temple gate is built on dozens of steps. The words "Ancient Temple Zhengguo Temple" were written by Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty. The more famous things in the temple are the two stone tablets on both sides of the gate, the Heart Sutra bronze bell cast in the Ming Dynasty, and the 600-year-old Pistacia chinensis.

I walked all the way from Xiangshan in winter and entered through the back door. No tickets were required. The seal forest inside is very beautiful.

Located in Shijingshan District, it is a place where citizens burn incense, worship Buddha and exercise. The most famous thing in the park is the stone carvings along the road, one fable story per stone carving, which is quite exquisite.

By Lohas 9527 |

The eight great places are Chang'an Temple, Lingguang Temple, Sanshan Temple, Dabei Temple, Longquan Temple, Xiangjie Temple, Baozhu Cave, and Zhengguo Temple. I have been there twice before, both times from the second place to the seventh place, and I was exhausted. I thought the eighth place was not open. Once I walked from the seventh place to the top of the mountain, there was only a big stone. Today I found out that the eighth place and the other seven places are not on the same mountain, but on the mountain to the east. It started to rain as soon as I arrived at the entrance of the park. Is this the Buddha testing my sincerity? When the rain was a little lighter, I bought a ticket to enter the park. After entering the gate, go straight. On the left is the road leading to the second place. On the way, I saw a very pious monk, who bowed with one step and five limbs on the ground. Go into the second place and ask for incense to worship Buddha. You can't climb the tower today. The top of the tower enshrines the Buddha's tooth relic. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sanshan Temple, enshrined Guan Yu four places and five places. From the fifth place to the sixth place, the distance is a bit far, and the stone road is not easy to walk. Do it according to your ability. There is no mountain here at the seventh place, only the Calabash Brothers go down the mountain, and go to the eighth place. The eighth place is here. Go down from the Zhengguo Temple and the Mimoya Zhengguo Temple, take the mountain road on the left, go to the cliff valley to reach the top of the mountain, there is another way down the mountain, but it is blocked by branches and leaves of plants, so I didn’t dare to go, and returned the same way. I didn’t find Qingliang Temple. There are only ruins on the Internet, which may be the circled place. Note that it is easy to go the wrong way in Badachu Park. Many of the mountain roads are not obvious, and there are few signboards. Ask the staff more. If you go the wrong way, just treat it as a test of the Buddha’s own practice.

By The past is like smoke |

Generally speaking, it is good, especially during holidays. Compared with famous attractions in Beijing, there are fewer people here, which makes it suitable for holiday travel.

By aiqiladema |

If you don't go to worship Buddha, it's really just a very ordinary mountain climbing exercise trip. During the May Day holiday, parking is very difficult, very difficult, very difficult... The traffic jam is almost one kilometer long. At this time, the locust flowers and catalpa trees are in bloom.

By A song that breaks my heart, where can I find a soulmate in this world🙃 |

I went there in early November last year, but the scenery is really good and the incense is very popular, especially the second Lingguang Temple. There are not many mountain roads, and it is not recommended to take the cable car.

By orch |

Go to Badachu and climb the hill to see the little squirrels in Badachu Park. It was very tiring, but it was worth it. The scenery was really nice, and we also brought binoculars to get a better view of the capital. It was a good outing. And it didn't cost much this time (the tickets were cleverly avoided). Next time my family comes to Beijing, I will bring them here, but I won't take this route. I'd better buy the tickets honestly.

Badachu is a group of eight Buddhist temples located on the southern foot of the Western Hills. Surrounded by three mountains, it has nice scenery but not many visitors. It is a great place to burn incense and pray or to hike and exercise.

By Le Lao Tou |

Badachu Park is surrounded by mountains on three sides. "Thousands of peaks are at the edge of the setting sun, and water flows into hundreds of rivers." The towering towers are inserted into the clouds, and there is also the world's first spring. "The residence of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties has been whipping the country for five hundred years." "The beauty of Xiangshan is artificial, and the beauty of Badachu is natural, and its natural beauty is better than the scenic spots in Xishan." After entering the park, you will reach the second Lingguang Temple after walking a short distance. Lingguang Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty and was originally called "Longquan Temple". It was renamed "Jueshan Temple" in the Jin Dynasty. It was expanded in the Ming Dynasty and renamed "Lingguang Temple." Incense is booming and smoke is lingering. People coming and going from the south and the north are willing to pay a lot of money to buy "incense" and "things" to pray for their wishes to be fulfilled. The front of the main hall of Lingguang Temple enshrines the statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, and the back enshrines the statue of Thousand-handed Guanyin Buddha. The main hall is magnificent and magnificent, and it is extraordinary. After passing the main hall, it is the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda. Stepping onto the base of the pagoda is the Three Buddhas. Behind the Three Buddhas is the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda.

I have always wanted to come to Badachu. This time I came and there was a temple fair going on. There were a lot of people.

You can take the cable car or walk. I didn't reach the top, so I went to see Lingguang Temple, which was very popular.

Following the crowd up the mountain, the first place you see is Lingguang Temple.

By Chek Lap Kok |

It is a good place for lazy people to go hiking. In addition, there is also the China Seal Valley, which people who are interested in seal carving should like very much.

By This book is too serious |

From Yingtaogou near Xiangshan Scenic Area, there is a mountain road that leads to Badachu Scenic Area.

On a sunny afternoon in early winter, I went hiking with my friends at Badachu. The eight temples in Badachu each have their own characteristics. I didn’t have high expectations, but the scenery was still very good. I also saw the seven-leaf bodhi tree and had a great time.

By Old Sheep |

Picking up my camera, I headed straight to Badachu Park, mainly to see the city of Beijing in the distance. So, I only walked to the viewing platform and then went down the mountain. It was Sunday, and there were too many cars and people. The bus could not reach the entrance of the park, so I had to walk one stop. The park ticket is 10 yuan, and the Beijing park ticket cannot be used. The cable car entrance started to go up the mountain. I did not go to the second place (there are many steps there), but went up the mountain along the slope on the right. The roadside scenery went up to the viewing platform and looked at the city of Beijing in the distance. The China Zun in the distance is outside the East Third Ring Road, more than 50 miles away from here, but it is still quite clear. The TV Tower is on the West Third Ring Road, which is closer. There are red leaves on both sides of the road going up and down the mountain. There is a pond at the entrance of the park, and you can see lotus flowers in summer.

The transportation in Beijing is very convenient. Just search for the terminal, Badachu Park, and multiple bus routes will take you to your destination safely! The ticket is not expensive, ten yuan per person, half price is five yuan, and it seems that the ticket is free after six o'clock in the evening. When I went down the mountain, I saw many nearby residents climbing the mountain at night to see the night view and take a walk, which was also nice. Here is a route map first. This time I went up the mountain in a counterclockwise direction. I climbed the mountain on the right hand side of the entrance of the cableway. There is also a road on the left hand side of the entrance of the cableway. As for which road to choose, it depends on your mood. But I have to mention that the left side is mostly steps and stone roads, and they are not flat. The front half of the right side is a cement road for vehicles to drive on, which is relatively flat. I started from the gate of the park entrance and went up the mountain along the east trail. I picked up a piece of 🍁, which was quite beautiful. I walked aimlessly and accidentally walked to the viewing platform of Xishan Forest Park. It took me 1.5 hours to stop and look at the city of Beijing at the foot of the mountain. I took a short rest and continued to move forward. Because the wind on the top of the mountain was strong, it would be cold if I stayed for a while. The path on the mountain when I went down the mountain was not very easy to walk. I overlooked the Nanmachang Reservoir from a distance. When I went down the mountain along the path, I met the two brothers who were patrolling the mountain, the big black and the big yellow. In the end, I gave in and made way for them! Look how autumn colors decorate the mountains and rivers, and dye the earth with autumn colors! Picked wild jujubes, sour maple forest canyon walked and walked, and accidentally walked to Nanmachang Reservoir. Because the strong wind blew away the haze in Beijing, the weather was really excellent. It was about to sunset, and it was beautiful. Are there any of these photos taken against the afterglow of the sunset? It feels like the sun is about to set, and people have to speed up their pace to go down the mountain because it will be dark. The next step is to walk down the mountain in a straight line. Several scenic spots along the way were not visited. This trip to Badachu is only for enjoying autumn!

The ginkgo trees in Badachu Park are mainly distributed in temples. Most of them are ancient trees over a hundred years old, especially the two ancient ginkgo trees in Dabei Temple, which are more than 800 years old. In late October, the yellow leaves fall and the ground is covered with broken gold. The ginkgo trees in Lingguang Temple are lush and leafy. The ginkgo trees in front of the Guanyin Hall and the Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda are best viewed in late October. Transportation Guide: Self-driving route: Exit Badachu on the West Fifth Ring Road and follow Badachu Road for about two kilometers; or exit Sijiqing on the West Fourth Ring Road and follow Xingshikou Road to Badachu Road. Bus route: 347, 389, 622, 489, 972, and 958 are at the terminal station; take the subway, and you can transfer to the bus between Yuquan Road and Pingguoyuan Station to reach the park. Tickets for attractions: 10 yuan

Badachu Park is located in Shijingshan District, Beijing. The ticket price is 10 yuan. It is one of the most popular temples in Beijing. Badachu means eight ancient temples as the name suggests. Badachu Park is one of the most suitable places for mountain climbing in the suburbs of Beijing. It has thousands of years of historical and cultural accumulation and rich and precious natural resources. Badachu Park is famous at home and abroad for the rare Sakyamuni tooth relic enshrined in the Lingguang Temple. In recent years, the "Heart Sutra" wall built in Lingguang Temple, 500 Arhat reliefs and the Buddha's tooth relic have formed the perfection of the unity of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. The unique microclimate formed by the "three mountains surrounding" and the mountain terrain that is neither high nor low make Badachu Park the first choice for Beijing people to climb mountains and keep fit.

By Elephant Rhino Hippopotamus |

There are eight main scenic spots in Badachu, which are very popular. You can take a cable car to the first seven, and the eighth can only be climbed from another road. The cable car is very small, and a family of three who are a little fat may not be able to sit. There is also a slide that can slide down, which is suitable for children. The overall experience is good with mountain views and water views (streams). I also saw someone using a large bucket to collect mountain spring water.

Although Badachu Park is named after eight ancient temples, the Ming Dynasty cliff carvings discovered in 2000 made a sensation in Beijing, attracting stone carving enthusiasts and many Buddhist believers. The National Day is coming soon. Many people came to make wishes on the first day of the new year. The golden top is the stupa. On the first and fifteenth day of the new year, vegetarian food will be released at noon. Sitting by the pond and listening to Buddhist music, I felt much calmer. Standing on the mountain and looking far away, the CCTV Tower is clearly visible. You can choose the cable car to go up the mountain and the slide to go down the mountain. If you like printing, you can come to this forest to have a look. 2018-1-1 The beginning of a day, a week, January, and a year~ I wish you all a happy new year~ May all your wishes come true. Thank you for praying for the old couple and wishing them sweetness. I won’t wait for vegetarian food today

Beijing Badachu Park is located in the west of Beijing, adjacent to the famous Xiangshan Park. Tickets: 10 yuan. Slide ticket: 52 yuan. Badachu Park now only has seven sections open. Chang'an Temple is outside the park and is now used as a government office. Items to bring: It is best to bring anti-mosquito items, snacks, etc. There are shops in the park. Badachu Park is composed of eight ancient temples built in different eras, and the earliest can be traced back to the Lingguang Temple built in the era of Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin. It is recommended to climb the mountain. The height is not high and suitable for all ages. You can visit six of them during the climb. It is strongly recommended to go down the mountain by sitting and sliding. The speed can be controlled by yourself. Friends who like excitement can go very fast without brakes (relatively safe). Ladies and friends with children can also do it. The speed can be controlled by yourself. Slow down, children should like it very much. The slide is very long and can reach the bottom of the mountain directly. It takes about 5 minutes at my speed (without brakes). After going down the mountain, there is a way to Zhengguo Temple, and Badachu Park is all visited.

Badachu Park is located on the south side of Xiangshan Mountain and the north side of Shougang Group area. It is about 3 kilometers away from Pingguoyuan, the starting station of Metro Line 1. If you have plenty of time, you can take the subway slowly. Line 130 changes to Line 2 at Lama Temple and then to Line 1 at Fuxingmen. When you get out of Pingguoyuan, the terminal, you will see bungalows everywhere. The shouting of illegal taxi drivers is in sharp contrast to the eye-catching blue sign prohibiting illegal taxis. The terminal of Line 972 is Badachu Park. The park ticket is 10 yuan per person, and the passenger flow is not as large as imagined. However, because the parking lot is too small, there is a traffic jam of 600 to 700 meters. "Badachu Park is a mountain Buddhist temple garden with a long history, great reputation and pleasant feng shui. It is surrounded by Cuiwei Mountain, Pingpo Mountain and Lushi Mountain, the remnants of Xishan Mountain. The three mountains are shaped like chairs, and the eight ancient temples are scattered among the three mountains. The natural "Twelve Scenes" are even more famous. The ancients praised it as "The three mountains are like a gorgeous house, the eight temples are like antiques in the house, and the twelve scenes are like the garden outside the house." It is also said that "The beauty of Xiangshan lies in its artificiality, and the beauty of Badachu lies in its naturalness. Its natural beauty surpasses the other scenic spots in Xishan."

I haven't climbed Badachu properly for many years. Today, I used my lunch break to climb seven of them in one go. My physical strength is better than before. There are two ways to go up the mountain. One is a slope road that can be used by car or pedestrian. There is not much scenery along the way. Another road is specially designed for tourists. There are six temples along the way. There are slopes and steps along the way. Because it was noon, there were not many people in the park. It felt good to breathe fresh air in the mountains.

By MissEven |

It happened to be a Buddhist festival when I went there, so there were many people. It is still suitable to go on weekends. There are few people and it is quiet. It is a good place to burn incense.

By Purple Rainbow and Bright Moon |

Define it as a national AAAA-level scenic spot, not a historical and cultural site. It is enough to understand that the ancients used a handful of soil as incense and burned their fingers to worship Buddha just for faith, while people today burn three-foot-long incense sticks and kneel down to pray just for money...

I don’t kneel down to the Buddha, nor do I worship the Buddha. I only look at him and worship him. Because I am a living Buddha, and my heart is pure, kind, true, and enlightened, I can be a Buddha. There is no need to swear like the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva whom I once respected the most, “I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty” and live in hell forever…

It was not bad. It was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and there were many people. I got off the bus 4 stops in advance and walked there. I also had a bowl of vegetarian rice. It was not bad! Badachu should be eight temples, but I couldn't find where the eighth one was. The mountain is not high. We climbed up to the top along the path. The altitude is only more than 400 meters. When we came down the mountain from the Chinese Seal Valley, it felt great!

Following the sunshine in May, I went to Badachu. I walked along the path from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain. There were a lot of green shades and I saw many devout people burning incense and worshiping Buddha. We were fortunate to see tens of thousands of people worshipping. It was spectacular and shocking. The scenery in each place had its own characteristics and the buildings in each place were also different. When I was tired, I sat on the stone next to me and looked at the distant mountains. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend traveling with friends. There are many beautiful scenery along the way. You will find many beautiful angles to take pictures and freeze the mood at that moment.

The environment is good, the incense is very strong, it is close to the city and suitable for mountain climbing.

By Stupid kid |

Beijing Badachu has beautiful scenery. There are stupas in the second place. If you need exercise, you can climb to the seventh place to strengthen your body. If you just want to visit, you can also climb to the third and fourth places. You can walk around the Jingyin Valley. The seals of various dynasties are like traveling through time. It is suitable for summer. It is cool inside to escape the heat.

By Chang Hai_Yu |

We walked outside the Badachu scenic area. It is deserted in winter, but it is said that the flowers bloom very beautifully in spring. On weekends, this place is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, with hundreds of people flocking here.

If you want to exercise, you can drive to Nanmachang Reservoir.

By Huahua |

I came here from Haohanpo and didn’t take a thorough look around.

By Sordino_Li |

I used to go to Badachu to climb the mountain on weekends. The so-called Badachu is because there are eight temples on the mountain and below the mountain, and the incense is still very popular. There are slides and ropeways in the scenic area, especially the slides are quite interesting. Two of them enshrine relics, which are one of the only two Buddha tooth relics in the world. Many people go here to burn incense. There is also a seal valley inside, and many large stones are engraved with seals from various periods. The scenery is different in each season. It is a very good place.

By life_heral |

The air is better than in the city, so I went for a walk. The temple at the foot of the mountain is of high standard, with the Buddha's tooth relic (I felt that I had a real experience of the religious legend).

However, most places along the way are being rebuilt or renovated. Although there are old trees and other historical traces, there are always too many "new" things attached to the surface. Banners, plastic sheets, tourist attraction stickers, in short, it does not achieve the feeling of "restoring the old as it is". Well, it's okay for walking and hiking on weekends, but don't expect too much.

By iwalkon |

The best scenic spot in Shijingshan, my hometown, Badachu is most famous for the relics. And if you come to see the relics on the day, you don’t have to pay for it separately, and the ticket is only 10 yuan, which is very good!

Those who went to climb the mountain did not enter from the gate at the foot of the mountain. For the first time, I found the gate of Badachu from the mountain.

The trip to Xiangbala was a complete success. I finally found the right way through my own efforts!

Let’s talk about Badachu Park. There is a Lingguang Temple on the mountain where you can pray for love. Some friends even went there to pray. . .

The scenery in the park is different in each season. You can go sightseeing, worship Buddha, and climb mountains. It is worth a visit!

Let me popularize the concept of Xiangbala: Xiangbala is a training route for Beijing hikers. Its full name is "Training from Xiangshan to Badachu", also known as Wild Xiangshan, but sometimes this concept is extended: Xiangbala is a relatively broad concept, from Baiwang Mountain, Taizhouwu, Dongshan, Sanjiadian, Fahai Temple, Badachu, Xiangshan to the Botanical Garden, this large area can be called "Xiangbala". Its characteristics are that there are few people - compared to Xiangshan Park, there are actually quite a few people; it can be difficult or easy, with a variety of options;

The old people living in Beijing often go to this place. It is said that the incense there is very popular. The mountain is not high and it is easy to climb. The green plants and flowers are very beautiful. It is located in the southern foot of the Xishan Scenic Area in Beijing, located in the remnant of the Xishan Mountains of Taihang, between Cuiwei, Pingpo and Lushi Mountains, with a radius of 332 hectares and the highest peak at an altitude of 464.8 meters.

Badachu is in the suburbs of Beijing. If there are many people in Beijing, it is worth a visit! There is a vegetarian restaurant there, which is very convenient for me! :D

The ticket is 10 yuan. The eighth place is separated from the other places. There are nunneries, temples, halls and Yellow Sect temples along the way, and people burn incense all the way.

I move forward with a pious heart, but it seems I don’t know who I’m going to meet!

The slide at Badachu is super super super super fun! Different from the experience at Hongluo Temple, this one can control the brakes and adjust the speed by yourself, and it's so cool to rush down the mountain at full speed! It feels like driving a go-kart. The price is very good value after the group purchase. In addition to saving effort when going down the mountain, the fun of the slide is enough to make the ticket worth it. Except for the stupa, I don't particularly want to come to the other places again, but I really want to play the slide a few more times.

Badachu is a great place to enjoy the red leaves in autumn. The first is the Baozhu Cave in Qichu. Qichu is the highest point in Badachu and the place with the most sunshine. There are all cotinus coggygria trees, red, yellow, and green, each showing the vitality of autumn. The second is the Red Leaf Avenue. It is located from Zhonghua Jingyin Valley to Liuchu Xiangjie Temple. The avenue is nearly hundreds of meters long, with cotinus coggygria and maple planted on both sides of the road. In autumn, the scenery here is charming. The third is to take a cable car to look at the red leaves all over the mountain. The fourth is Bachu Zhengguo Temple.

The ticket price is 10 yuan, and the senior ticket price is 5 yuan. It is recommended to go!

I don't need to say much about the beautiful scenery of Badachu. During the Spring Festival, go to the fourth place, Dabei Temple, to play the twelve auspicious bells! Five yuan for two balls, try your luck, you can get whatever you want. I roughly calculated that the shopkeeper can earn 5 x 5 (5 customers per minute) x 60 x 6 (6 hours per day) = 9,000 yuan a day!

Fun!

As a Beijinger who grew up in the west, Badachu was a park I often visited when I was a child, so I have a Badachu complex for it. As the name suggests, Badachu actually has eight major scenic spots, namely one to eight, each with its own unique characteristics. Compared with Xiangshan, it is not that high, so it is not very tiring to climb up. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can even see the China World Trade Center Phase III on the East Third Ring Road on a sunny day.

Badachu Park is located in the west of Beijing. It is a good place for city dwellers to climb high and look far. The park is built with green trees, colorful flowers and plants, mountains and lakes, and a quiet environment. The road to the mountain is a man-made cement road and steps. The scenic spots in Badachu have their own history. In summer, people come here to escape the heat and cool down. In autumn, they climb high and look far. In winter, they watch the snow outside the city. When the weather is good, you can see Beijing from the mountain. The transportation is convenient. You can take the subway Pingguoyuan to the bus, and there are also direct buses. There is no restaurant in the park, so you need to bring your own lunch and water.

Walking in the Jingyin Valley with its high mountains, dense forests and gurgling water will make you feel good and the trip will be worthwhile.

By Old saying |

Every autumn, I always want to go to Badachu to see the red leaves. I personally think that the red leaves at Badachu are much better than those at Xiangshan. The temples at Badachu are also very distinctive, especially the Lingguang Temple, which houses the tooth relic of Sakyamuni Buddha. It fully demonstrates the style and dignity of a royal temple. The mountain at Badachu is shorter than that at Xiangshan, so it is easier to visit and you won't feel tired without taking the cable car. Going to Badachu to worship the tooth relic and enjoy the red leaves is a good choice in autumn.

A place for burning incense and worshipping Buddha. I didn't climb up after climbing two places. I took the zip line down. It's boring.

Badachu Park is surrounded by three mountains and is named after the eight well-preserved ancient temples. It is also famous for its naturally formed "Twelve Scenes". The ancients praised it as "the three mountains are like a magnificent house, the eight temples are like antiques in the house, and the twelve scenes are like the garden outside the house."

The natural scenery of Badachu is beautiful and picturesque in all four seasons.

Badachu Park is located in the Western Hills of Beijing. It is a Buddhist holy place and has a great influence in the Buddhist community. The scenery here is also beautiful, and the scenery of each season has its own characteristics. It is a favorite tourist destination.

I went there on a winter weekend when I had nothing to do. The scenery on the mountain is average in winter, but the incense is still very strong, and there are many tourists who kneel down to worship devoutly, mostly in temples. The Jingyin Valley is worth a visit. The transportation is quite convenient, but it may be more likely to get stuck in traffic if you drive there. The parking fee is not expensive, and there is a temple fair in the first month of the year, so you can go and see it.

Badachu Park is surrounded by Cuiwei Mountain, Pingpo Mountain and Lushi Mountain, the remnants of the Western Hills. The three mountains are shaped like chairs, and eight ancient temples are scattered among them. It is very close to downtown Beijing and can be reached by bus. It is famous for its eight temples, especially the pagodas in the second one. The pagoda contains the tooth relic of Sakyamuni. The oldest of the eight ancient temples is the Bachu Zhengguo Temple, which was built in the late Sui and early Tang dynasties and was rebuilt in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. The largest temple is the Xiangjie Temple, the imperial palace of Kangxi and Qianlong. Although Badachu Park is named after the eight ancient temples, the discovery of the Ming Dynasty cliff carvings in 2000 caused a sensation in Beijing, attracting stone carving enthusiasts and many Buddhist believers.

Compared to the past, it has been renovated and the bus goes directly to all 8 attractions. It takes a day to visit them. The air is good and it is worth going.

Badachu Park is a scenic spot in the Western Hills of Beijing. It is also a famous Buddhist holy place. There were eight temples of different sizes in the mountain valley with dense vegetation. The scenery is beautiful and picturesque in all seasons. It is worth a visit.

One of the eight is not open to the public. The eighth is not on the same mountain as the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh. Overall, climbing in Badachu Park is not tiring, and you can choose to climb up and down.

By Small treasure |

Compared with other popular attractions in Beijing, Badachu has few people and no tour groups. The transportation is quite convenient, and there are cultural and landscape attractions. If you believe in Buddhism, this place may be a must-visit place. If you don't believe in Buddhism, it is also very good to spend an afternoon hiking and breathing oxygen.

Badachu Park, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, is located at the southern foot of the famous Xishan Scenic Area in Beijing. It is one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Beijing after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is a mountain Buddhist temple garden with a long history, great reputation and pleasant feng shui. Badachu Park is surrounded by Cuiwei Mountain, Pingpo Mountain and Lushi Mountain, the remnants of Xishan. The three mountains are shaped like chairs, and eight ancient temples are scattered among the three mountains. The natural "Twelve Scenic Spots" are even more famous. The ancients praised it as "Three Mountains are like a gorgeous house, Eight Temples are like antiques in the house, and Twelve Scenes are like a garden outside the house." It is also said that "The beauty of Xiangshan lies in artificiality, and the beauty of Badachu lies in nature, and its natural beauty is better than the other scenic spots in Xishan.

When I was a kid, I didn’t understand why it was called this way. I followed my parents here to visit and tour. All I remember was that there were many temples. In the spring of 1985, Liangzi’s grandmother was serving in the army in Beijing and visited here and took photos. In June 2019, Liangzi’s mother also came here to experience the culture.

There were many people at the mountain gate when we went there by bike, but the further we went, the fewer people there were. We didn't follow the tourist group, but took a different path and went up the mountain on a mountain road that was rarely visited. We unexpectedly found a quiet and good place - Zhaozhi Pavilion. It was very pleasant to take a rest here on a summer afternoon, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and forests, breathe the fresh air, and savor the quiet Zen. There were old people practicing Tai Chi here, which added color to the beautiful scenery of the mountains and forests.

Located in Beijing's Haidian District, northwest of the city, it is very close to Xiangshan, a Buddhist holy place that is very popular on the first and fifteenth days of the lunar month. It is named after its eight scenic spots.

Religion and superstition are not the same thing. What is the current atmosphere in Badachu? Most people go there to burn incense and worship. It is a pure land of Buddhism, but they put the mop and broom on the trees in front of the temple. The pure white statue of Amitabha Buddha is covered with a colorful cape. Vulgar!

I come here every year during the temple fair, bringing my parents and children to stroll around, eat, worship, and pray for everything to go well in the new year!
