The return trip should be as early as possible. The last bus of bus 877 is at 5 o'clock. If you catch the last bus at 5 o'clock, you will most likely have to stand back. I think since I'm here, I have to experience the classic route. I climbed from Beiyi to Beiba, then went down to Beiyi, then to Bear Park, and finally to the place where I climbed the Great Wall. However, this was also related to the flow of people on that day, because some sections of the road were really impossible to walk, and I could only move step by step. After climbing the Great Wall, we went to the Ming Tombs and took the tourist line directly to Changling. The fare was 10 yuan. The departure time was 11 o'clock, 12 o'clock, and 13 o'clock. Then after the Ming Tombs, we took the tourist line back to Qianmen, and the fare was 10 yuan. The direct bus departs at Changling at 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, and 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The departure time at Dingling is around 2:05, 3:05, and 4:05, because it takes about 5 minutes to drive from Changling. Very convenient. The fare for the through train can only be paid in cash. You must get on the bus first and buy the ticket later. The attendant will come to sell tickets on the bus. We took the cable car up, which reached the 6th slope, and then climbed 2 more slopes to the Haohan Slope on the 8th floor of the north building. However, I don’t know if I took the wrong route. I never saw the three words "Haohan Slope". In addition, I heard that there are 12 slopes to climb, but why was there no road when I reached the 8th slope? I thought I climbed the wrong way, so I got off and returned to the cable car station, and took another route and climbed again, but I still returned to the 8th floor of the north building. I booked the ticket on a travel website. Half-price tickets for the elderly and children can also be booked online, and then I went to the ticket hall (where you queue up for the cable car, you can directly pick up the ticket)

Although things in scenic spots are generally expensive, the ones at the Great Wall are too outrageous. A cup of soy milk costs 10 yuan, and breakfast costs 20 yuan per person. When queuing to get in, you can be squeezed into a meat pie. There are many people who cut in line, and their quality is worrying. It was still very shocking when I climbed the Great Wall for the first time. The Great Wall itself is a miracle and looks magnificent. Unfortunately, only a small section is open, which is disappointing. There is a very steep section in the middle. If you don't hold the handrail on the side, the consequences will be disastrous if your shoes slip.

Transportation: I personally recommend taking subway line 13 to S2 to go to the Great Wall, and then taking the bus to Deshengmen. Equipment: Wear walking shoes, hats and masks. The wind on the Great Wall in winter is huge, which makes us doubt our lives. Be sure to wear gloves. Don't believe that your legs can finish the walk in front of the 90-degree rounding. You have to rely on your hands to get rich! ! It's best to bring some dry food with you. Process: As someone who has walked the northern Great Wall, I just want to say that God knows how we survived. The Great Wall is divided into the southern section and the northern section. The northern Great Wall is divided into two sections, North 1 to North 8 and North 8 to North 12. The first section is the road that normal tourists will take. There are slides (kindergarten colored slides extended version, to the fourth floor of the north) and cable cars (to the eighth floor of the north). The prices are not cheap. It is a slope of nearly 90 degrees. You climb up and climb down. Some steps feel like 30cm each. You hold on to the horizontal bar next to you the whole time, using all four limbs. You fully understand why it is called "climbing" the Great Wall. It was particularly desperate to walk. You couldn't go back or go down. Your whole leg was shaking when you went downhill. Don't think I'm exaggerating. How should I put it? I've seen many people say that it's OK for normal young adults to walk to Beiba. In fact, for people like us who don't do much exercise and have strong winds in winter (blowing us into autism), it's too uncomfortable to walk. What's the point of spending so much energy and time to walk up alone? If you try to walk, you might even lose your kneecap. The scenery you see when you try to reach the top will be similar. Maybe you can enjoy the scenery better by taking a cable car. Although I've said some toxic chicken soup here, I sincerely remind people with average physical strength that they don't have to lose their bodies. It's unnecessary to accidentally strain or wear and tear. You come out to enjoy and experience it. Of course, we deserve to be autistic because we were stingy and took the wrong road, poor and stupid. It took less than 4 hours to climb in total, which was actually OK.

2019/2/1, sunny day, the weather at the Great Wall was 3 degrees to minus 10 degrees, my daughter and I decided to hike the Great Wall. As southerners, we didn’t know how cold minus 10 degrees was. My daughter wore a long down jacket, and I wore a windbreaker. I also carried two thin down jackets in my bag. It turned out that it was not necessary to bring them. If there were no elderly people, there was no need to take the cable car and the trolley. The cable car went down from the North 7th Floor to the North 8th Floor, and then went back to the North 7th Floor to take the cable car. The trolley was from the North 4th Floor. After climbing the North 8th Floor, you had to go back to the North 4th Floor to take the trolley. It was better to climb by yourself, climb down from the North 8th Floor, and go to the 11th Floor to reach the Bear Park, and then go to the parking lot to take bus 877 back.

Because we took the cable car up, we had plenty of time, so after we came down, we bought some small specialty products and accessories from the shops on both sides, and also engraved words here. The ones on the Great Wall cost 40 yuan each, but here they only cost 5 yuan each, which scared me...

The cheapest and most convenient way to get to the Badaling Great Wall is to take a direct bus, 877, with a fare of only 13 yuan, and it departs at a fixed point. Everyone has a seat and it takes about 1 and a half hours to arrive. Tickets can be purchased online. There is a window where you can exchange physical tickets. You don't need to follow some scalpers at the scenic spot. I feel that if you travel freely, you can buy a ticket and a bus ticket for 60 yuan. Remember to prepare dry food in advance, plenty of water. We brought 5 bottles, drank 3 and a half bottles, and brought half a roast duck rack for lunch. It can be regarded as an experience of eating Beijing roast duck at the Great Wall. Hahaha, although it is cold, it is a different experience.
It took us about 5 hours to climb both the North and South Great Walls, including rest and meals. There are many sections of the Great Wall that are very shaky, and you can say it's straight up and down, so please save your energy. There are not many toilets on the Great Wall. I only encountered a toilet once in 5 hours. Painful! ! ! ! ! ! The last bus seems to end at 5:30, remember to arrange your time reasonably. We missed the last bus 877, and we need to walk several kilometers to take other buses. You know, after climbing the Great Wall, walking a few kilometers is really torture every step!

Although it has been criticized for being crowded during the peak season, it was able to be developed earlier. In addition to the regional factor of being located on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou transportation line, it still has other unique features. First of all, Badaling is located on the outermost side of the mountain barrier between Beijing and Zhangjiakou. Going northwest from Badaling, it is the open and flat valley of Yanqing and Huailai. Standing on the height of Badaling, you can overlook the plain of Yanqing from a high position if the weather is good. Even better, looking from the height of the south wall to the city, you can even see the Chinese wine jar 60 kilometers away. This is compared with Mutianyu, which I have been to, which the latter does not have. In addition, the mountains in the Badaling area are indeed good, with ups and downs, winding and twists, and a sense of layering. It was past the beginning of winter when I went to Badaling this time, so I didn't see the autumn leaves. But during the Qingming Festival and May Day, the mountain flowers were in full bloom, which was very beautiful, so choosing a better season to come can also have the bonus of other natural plants.
Finally, let's talk about the route. It can be divided into two routes, north and south, starting from the Guancheng in the middle. There are 12 watchtowers in the open area of ​​the north line and only 7 in the south line, so first of all, you can make a choice based on your own time and physical strength. There is an inscription on the south line with the words "If you haven't been to the Great Wall, you are not a hero", but I don't think this is too important, because these inscriptions are also on the small square outside the south gate of the Guancheng below. In addition, you have to return to the original route when going up and down the south line. But one advantage of the south line is that most of the time, when you stand on the south line and look back to take a full view of the north line, it is in the right light. In addition, at the height of the south line, you can look out to the Yanqing urban area and Guanting Reservoir, and look inward to the urban area and Zhongguo Zun, and the viewing angle is better than that of the north line.
The North Line is longer and has more content. The biggest advantage is that you can go up from the Guancheng side, reach the high point of the North Seventh Floor, and then go down from the North Twelfth Floor, and get off the city next to the Bear Park. The North Twelfth Floor is blocked, and if you continue in that direction, you can go all the way to the top of Qinglongqiao Railway Station.

There is a cableway. Tourists who don't want to walk can take the cableway directly to the enemy tower. After the tour, they can take the cableway back, which can save energy and relax. In addition, there are the Zhan Tianyou Memorial Hall and the China Great Wall Museum. Start climbing from the North Tower. Most tourists choose this route, so there are many people. It takes about two hours to climb to the eighth floor of the North Tower. There are very few tourists in the South Tower, but the Great Wall feels very deserted.
