The landscape gallery that runs through Yanqing and Huairou is so beautiful. There are different landscapes in each season. It is free and worth visiting in different seasons. One day of self-driving is a bit tight, so you can only take a quick look. Be sure to check the weather before going. When we went there, the clouds kept thickening and sometimes we couldn't see the blue sky.
I passed by here on the way back from Bashang to see the autumn scenery. I just drove from west to east to enjoy the scenery along the way to Beijing North. This place should be good, but I just went to Bashang, so it is not so outstanding in comparison.
Beijing's Baili Gallery is actually more suitable for cycling. It is a picturesque place with mountains and water, and the air is moist and very comfortable. I think it is most comfortable to ride a bicycle while enjoying the scenery so close, so I think it is the best to ride a bicycle here. There are many cycling friends along the way, and I really admire them. Going up the mountain and overlooking the entire gallery, you can experience the fun of cycling enthusiasts.
One day's trip is enough, the scenery is not satisfactory, maybe the expectations are too high. If it is close, self-driving leisure travel is still good (for details, please see my travel notes)
The Baili Mountain and Water Gallery in autumn is full of scenery. The scenery in the west section is better, while the scenery in the east section is not so good.
I went there before the National Day holiday, so there weren't many people. I drove around and stopped to relax. It was ok to go to Naishan Mountain and Longwan Lake, but those who paid for tickets didn't go there.
There are several attractions that require tickets, but we didn't go there because it was already past two o'clock when we got here. For those who drive by themselves, please keep going forward after seeing the words "Beijing Gallery" and don't turn sideways. We drove along the highway from the starting point, which is actually the west line. Because we wanted to live near the Four Seasons Flower Sea, we drove from the east line, where there are fewer cars! And this way we don't have to go back! In addition, the comments all said that there is nothing to see at the attractions, and the scenery on the road is the most beautiful. Indeed, it feels like driving on the grassland sky road by yourself~ The most beautiful scenery is on the journey~
Travel: I went on a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. The route was only 150 kilometers long, but I was stuck in traffic for more than 4 hours before I got there. There was also severe traffic on the way back. There were a lot of trucks on the opposite side of the solid yellow line, and most of them crossed the line at night. As a result, it took me more than 4 hours to drive back, which was an hour longer than expected.
Scenery: The scenery is beautiful, with red, yellow and green leaves all over the mountains in distinct colors, the river water is clear, the mountain roads are winding, the sea of flowers is connected, and there are natural landscapes, historical relics and monuments, such as the gate, the dripping kettle, the petrified wood, the sea of flowers, the Moon Lake and the Wulong Canyon. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the most beautiful scenery in the suburbs of Beijing.
Disadvantages: The only drawback is that there are few public toilets. I finally found one and found that the door was not locked. The dinosaur footprints are being repaired, which is a pity to miss. Each attraction charges a ticket separately. If you don’t do your homework for the first time, it will be difficult to appreciate its beauty at once.
Conclusion: It is worth visiting several times. The scenery is different in summer and autumn.
A place as beautiful as its name, Baili Landscape Gallery
A must-visit place for self-driving tours in Beijing! Beautiful scenery!!
The air is fresh and the environment is beautiful. It was especially humid after the rain when I went there.
The Yanqing Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery, which we hurriedly passed through, does not have as many mountains as Yangshuo, nor is the water as green as the Yulong River, but it is cleaner and tidier than there, and the scenery and supporting facilities along the way are not inferior to Yangshuo.
The sunflowers were ripening. There were beautiful mountains and clear waters along the way, and there were many farmhouses. Food and accommodation were not a problem, but it was quite difficult to find a simple and quiet small restaurant. I didn't have lunch until almost two o'clock. It kept raining, so I didn't see the gallery, but could only look at the flowers. Large areas of bright colors spread out, which was also spectacular.
Beijing Yanqing Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery Scenic Area is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing District. The scenic area includes one ring, three zones and twelve spatial nodes, with the beauty of Huaibei mountains and waters, the pines of Huangshan, the meadows of Tuerling, and the beauty of Suzhou. It involves a 112-li riverside loop, hence the name "Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery". Beijing friends come here to enjoy the mountains and waters.
The best time to visit Baili Gallery is from July to November. You can also rent a bicycle at the Pedaling the Earth Cycling Station to see the scenery. Very nice 😃
The location of China-TravelNote is just the starting point of Bailihualang. Bailihualang is actually about 30 kilometers of road, plus several scenic spots along the way. The entrance fees for these scenic spots are not really worth it. The main thing is the scenery along the road. The yellow chrysanthemums seen along the way are pretty good. From a distance, I thought they were rape flowers.
It turns out that the landscape gallery is a drive-through, where you can enjoy the different views along the way. There are small scenic spots on the roadside where you can stop and play for a while, and then continue forward. The scenery is great, and you can also buy a lot of local products. You can also see many cycling teams along the way.
Suitable for self-driving
National Day Holiday
There is a garden beside the road
Very suitable for photography
Tickets for attractions are quite expensive
Not recommended
We really have to leave early in the morning. It's too far, but Jingmei is worth going. It's a pity that we couldn't stay one night and take two more days to make it worthwhile.
I came here during the National Day holiday. I didn't expect there were so few people and the road was smooth.
It is just the beginning of autumn now, and the trees are still relatively green. I believe that in late autumn, the leaves will turn yellow and the scenery will definitely be more beautiful!
Pick a good season when all the flowers are in full bloom and the Hundred Miles Gallery will be very beautiful. I went there in autumn, and many flowers had already withered, so the overall feeling would be a little worse. The Hundred Miles scenery includes flower fields, rice fields, mountains and rivers. There are really many pictures of different styles, which is worth looking forward to.
Last October, I took a spontaneous trip.
We went there during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. There were a lot of cars on the road, beautiful scenery, fresh air, and several attractions with their own characteristics. We spent the longest time in Wulong Canyon because we stayed at Qingfeng Farmhouse No. 6, Shitanggou Village nearby (13716494436). This farmhouse is very quiet, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the food is very special, such as freshly fried pancakes and baked fire shovels for breakfast. The vegetables are all grown in their own garden, which is very good.
I'm from Fangshan, I went there at 4:30, the round trip took 10 hours (plus traffic jam), it's too far, the scenery is too ordinary, I really don't recommend it, the paid attractions are so small, there's nothing to see, the whole driving is a waste of time. I really regret it.
Yanqing Hundred Miles Art Gallery is a very suitable self-driving tour route.
We went there on February 10th. The weather had started to warm up, but it was still quite cold in the mountains. The mountains and waters looked quite desolate in this season, but the picture was very beautiful when paired with the blue sky.
We went to Shuiquangou by accident. The car finally reached the top of the mountain after a long journey. Unfortunately, the top of the mountain was a military base and we could not go up. However, the scenery on the hillside was really beautiful. There were layers of mountains in the distance, one after another. The sun was shining down, which looked very warm. There were many small villages at the foot of the mountain. It was warm and peaceful, with smoke rising from the chimneys. I wonder if every family can be peaceful and quiet, but every family has its own problems.
We kept walking at night, and there were small villages along the way. We couldn't eat or stay overnight, probably because it was still relatively cold during the Chinese New Year period, and it was also the Lantern Festival, so many farmhouses in the mountains were closed. Finally we arrived in Chicheng County. There is a river in the county seat, and it was built along the river. It was Chinese New Year, and the streets were full of lanterns, and it was quite beautiful at night.
I can’t remember how many times I have driven aimlessly in the mountains. Without a destination, I just kept driving along the mountain road, not knowing what the scenery ahead would be. I prefer this kind of travel.
Chicheng County still belongs to Zhangjiakou City. It seems that this county likes to copy others. There are various Super 7 hotels, Eight Days Inns, and Green's, but there is not a single genuine chain. It's quite interesting. People here love barbecue so much that even in the cold winter nights, only the barbecue restaurants are busy.
The next day we went to the reservoir near Baili Landscape Gallery. I think it was called Bai something, but I just remember that the river was called Baihe. There was very thick ice on the reservoir, and there was no problem walking on the ice. However, I heard the sound of ice cracking, which turned out to be gurgling. It was so magical.
In the evening, I ate delicious lamb ribs at a restaurant in Yanqing called Jiuxian. It was super delicious, haha.
Hundred Miles of Landscape Gallery, with peach blossoms in full bloom in spring, moonlight in summer, fragrance of flowers in autumn and snow-covered winter.
The mountainous area in eastern Yanqing is suitable for self-driving tours, and the scenery is different and unique in each season.
Along the Baihe Gorge, the scenery on both sides is picturesque. You can come here to enjoy the flowers and escape the heat in summer. There are many villages along the way where you can stay, and the environment is very good.
The scenery along the 100-mile-long landscape gallery is very beautiful, so you don’t have to go to the scenic spot. Yanqing is also the area with the best air quality in Beijing.
When I went to this place in late autumn, the ginkgo trees all over the mountains were particularly beautiful.
Baili Landscape Gallery is located in Qianjiadian Town, Yanqing County. It stretches from the Dripping Pot Scenic Area in the east to the Yanshan Tianchi in the west. Basically, there are many Beijingers visiting here, but few outsiders. The scenic spots mainly include the Dripping Pot Scenic Area, Wulong Canyon Scenic Area, Petrified Wood National Geopark Scenic Area, Flower Sea and Chaoyang Temple. I personally think that Wulong Canyon and Flower Sea are good. The temperature in the scenic area is lower than that in the urban area, especially in the morning and evening. If you want to go there, please bring thick clothes. If you want to stay, it is recommended to stay in a farmhouse.
There are tickets for scenic spots, including Petrified Wood National Geopark, Dishui Lake, Wulong Gorge, etc. Senior citizens can get free tickets (over 65) or half-price tickets. However, after playing, I feel that the most attractive part is the scenery along the road. The Baili Landscape Gallery is actually the mountains and waters on both sides of the Baihe River Valley. The asphalt roads in the suburbs of Beijing are generally of good quality, and the traffic lines are standardized and clear. There are few people and vehicles along the way, driving is easy, the scenery is beautiful, and it is refreshing. Strange rocks and peaks can often be seen on the roadside. Faced with such geological history, I can't help but sigh that human beings are so small. Human existence is just a moment in the vast universe of billions of time. We are so lucky to come to this world. When the car drives to Gangou, you can see the sign of the Baili Landscape Gallery, which is the official starting point of the gallery. There is a Beijing Tourism Information Service Office here, which can obtain information on attractions, accommodation, etc. on the gallery route. The scenery of Longwan Lake is very good, with few people and quiet, and the lake is calm. Wulong Gorge is densely wooded, with winding water and pleasant air. There is also a Taoist Dragon King Temple upstream of the gorge, which is newly built. The gods enshrined in the temple are quite interesting. In the side hall, there are fox gods and rat gods. There is a big stage in the temple, where two operas are performed every year, both of which are Hebei Bangzi.
I took a tour in the fall of 2014. The scenery was nice, but there were a lot of cars on some sections of the road.
I have been to this beautiful scenic spot many times. The word "beautiful" is not enough to describe it, especially when the spring comes and the flowers bloom, with crowds of people and hundreds of flowers in full bloom. All worries and unhappiness disappear.
I went there just after the beginning of autumn. There was a sea of flowers, which was pretty good. The red and yellow leaves along the way were also pretty good, but each attraction was charged, so it was not worth going in.
Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery is located in Qianjiadian Town, Yanqing County, more than 100 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. Baili Landscape Gallery is actually a picturesque road of 100 miles. Spring, summer, autumn and winter have their own beautiful scenery, and autumn is the most beautiful. The colors on both sides of the road are brilliant and colorful, with various autumn flowers, chrysanthemums, lavender, and small daisies. The creepers on the mountain have also turned red, and the trees on both sides of the road are yellow and green, with blue sky and white clouds, which is really picturesque. There are also many farmhouses here, all of which provide wireless Internet access, the environment is clean, and the boss can cook farmhouse meals for you. It is really a pleasure to come here without rushing to the statutory holidays, but the temperature in the mountains is very low, so you need to wear more clothes.
The autumn is so beautiful. The mountain road is winding and there are few people. It is pleasant to stop and walk.
The Baili Landscape Gallery is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing County. The scenic area is located in the Baihe and Heihe River basins. The mountains are emerald, the waters are clear, and it has a variety of geological landscapes, a good ecological environment, and rich tourism resources. I participated in the 4+2 cycling event of Langfang Xingrufeng Cycling Club on August 3, 2014, and rode the Baili Landscape Gallery. We first rode on four wheels, and the scenery along the way was good. The scenery along the way was quite good. From the intersection of Changyi Road and Bayu Road, we switched to two wheels. The speed was slow, and the scenery was even more fascinating. The canyon formed by the river hitting the boulders was very spectacular. The winding mountain road and the green valley can be said to be a scene in one mile, and a painting in one scene. We rode nearly 40 kilometers in total. It was so beautiful. The Baili Landscape Gallery is really worth seeing.
It's worth a visit, there are beautiful scenery along the way, mountains, water, trees and flowers~
Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing. The scenic spot is named "Baili Landscape Gallery" because it covers a 112-li riverside loop. The scenery here changes like a painting in four seasons. In summer, it is a veritable summer resort and green oxygen bar; in autumn, it is a golden scenery, a good place for autumn tours in the suburbs of Beijing... (The best time to visit is from May to October, most scenic spots and attractions are closed in winter)
We recommend 6 must-visit scenic spots in Baili Landscape Gallery: 1. Yanqing Petrified Wood National Geopark - Wood Fossil Group Scenic Area 2. Beijing Wulong Canyon Scenic Area 3. Dripping Pot 4. Chaoyang Temple 5. Dragon King Temple 6. Guandi Temple In addition, the "Four Seasons Flower Sea" is also quite beautiful, giving you unexpected gains!
It is worthy of being called a Hundred Miles Picture Gallery. We chartered a car from 7:30 am to 4:50 pm and were constantly going in and out of scenic spots. It was really a hundred miles. The driver was very responsible and let us take pictures and go into all the scenic spots to have a look. We just had a quick tour, otherwise it would have taken us longer, not to mention that we didn't have lunch until three o'clock in the afternoon. The Hundred Miles Picture Gallery is a chain of different scenes strung together to form a scenic chain with temples, mountains and rivers, paid and free scenic spots. It is really worth a visit.
The scenic area includes Petrified Wood Geopark, Dripping Pot, Folk Village and other attractions. In fact, I personally feel that you should not set yourself any goals that you must go to. Walking and stopping along the way is the best way to relax and have fun.
The Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery in autumn is very beautiful! It is highly recommended to visit here. It is also a good place to escape the heat in summer.
Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery requires a self-driving tour, and the scenery along the way is very beautiful.
The original natural landscape is beautiful and majestic. It is the best choice for cyclists.
The Yanqing Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery mainly refers to the section from Baihebao Reservoir (Yanshan Tianchi) to the Landscape Gallery Service Area. The scenery is indeed beautiful, but it is strongly recommended to experience it in the early morning with mist or light rain. It feels like a fairyland.
Beijing Yanqing "Hundred Miles of Landscape Gallery" is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing County. It is the core area of Yanqing Ecological Conservation and Development Zone, with a total area of 371 square kilometers. It is 40 kilometers away from Yanqing County and 110 kilometers away from Beijing. China Yanqing Petrified Wood World Geopark is the main body and an important part of Beijing Yanqing Hundred Miles of Landscape Gallery Scenic Area.
We started from the Shanshui Gallery scenic spot and headed towards Beijing. The scenery along the way was really nice. Driving along the way was really a pleasure, and I, the passenger, enjoyed it even more, haha
It is recommended to visit for 2 days. You can stay in a local farmhouse for one night, and then slowly enjoy the scenery along the Hundred Miles Gallery. It is really nice when the weather is good. Feel the cool wind blowing by your side.
Beautiful scenery around Beijing, I like Yanqing very much, especially in summer and autumn~~~~~~~
The scenery is beautiful and worth a visit. There are mountains, water, flowers and grass. It is a good place for vacation and highly recommended.
I went there on October 12, 2014. The route was: first to the Petrified Wood Park - Wulong Canyon - Qianjiadian Flower Sea. The scenery along the way was good, suitable for self-driving, outdoor, cycling, and leisure travel. It is a good place to go around Beijing.
Along the way, the road was so beautiful, with a moderate bend. The poplars and birches on both sides were tall and dense. The sunlight shone in sparsely, not too much, not too little, anyway, it was so beautiful. There was wind outside the window, very cool~
The gallery is a newly developed classic, and it was beautiful at first. There were ornamental flowers planted on the roadside, and my mother took a lot of photos.
"We are still young" We meet in this season of warm and cold weather, the cold and windy weather can't stop us from having fun
The scenic area is located in the Baihe and Heihe River basins, with green mountains and clear waters. It has diverse geological landscapes, excellent ecological environment and abundant tourism resources.
The scenery is just full of red. I saw green, yellow and red all along the way. The clothes changed from short-sleeved shirts to cotton clothes. I experienced early autumn to late autumn.
The Baili Gallery is still green now. It will be more beautiful in autumn, with all kinds of colors. We will come again then~~~ On the way back to Beijing, we encountered the riverside, and the scenery was very beautiful. The scenery in Yanqing is really good~
In fact, it is a long corridor of 100 miles, passing through several scenic spots such as Petrified Wood Park (very disappointing, maybe we went at the wrong time, it might be more beautiful in mid-to-late October when the trees turn red), Wulong Canyon (fun, there is a big waterfall), Dripping Pot (not open) ~ The scenery along the way is quite beautiful, but it’s a pity that I didn’t take pictures of creepers in the car. There are various flowers on the way, the most famous of which are sunflowers (July and August are better, when we went there, they were all mature, all turned into ground sunflowers, wow haha~), chrysanthemums, cockscombs, verbena, etc. ~
Yanqing Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery: Located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing County, it is the core area of Yanqing Ecological Conservation Area, with a total area of 371 square kilometers, 40 kilometers from the county seat and 110 kilometers from the urban area. It is adjacent to Huairou District in the east, Chicheng County of Hebei Province in the north, and connected to Xiangying, Liubinbao and Zhenzhuquan Townships in the southwest and southeast respectively.
I am very familiar with Baili Landscape Gallery. I have been here twice! Famous attractions include Wulong Canyon, Petrified Wood Park, Yanshan Tianchi, etc.
Arriving at the starting point of the Baili Landscape Gallery, a row of mountains and a pool of water quietly unfold the painting.
Yanqing Baili Art Gallery
Introduction to scenic spots along the Yanqing Hundred Miles Gallery. The forest coverage here is more than 80%, so walking here feels like being in the forest! Yellow and gray are roads. The roads are new. You can reach various scenic spots along the way. Driving is of course more convenient. It is recommended to ride a bike. This road is especially suitable for slow travel! The air is also very good. People here are very long-lived, which is inseparable from the air and environment here. If you hike for three days, you should be able to complete the whole journey. I personally think it is worth stopping at Gangou - I am not familiar with this section, basically take a car, it is worth walking - Qianjiadian (Chaoyang Temple) - Gujiayao - Shangnaishan - Xianaishan - Santanzi
The following photos were taken while driving along the "Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery" and showing people and beautiful scenery (it was around 5:00 p.m. at this time).
Although Yanqing's Hundred Miles of Landscape Gallery cannot compare with the beautiful mountains and clear waters of the south of the Yangtze River, in Beijing where water sources are gradually drying up and cities are becoming increasingly dry, we are content to see such green mountains and clear waters.
There are mountains, water and scenery. The sky here is blue and the water is clear. Whether you come here for an outing in spring or to cool off in summer, the unique geological features and dense birch forests will make you fall in love with this land.
I have heard for a long time that Yanqing has a beautiful landscape, and the scenery there is said to be a small Guilin... blue sky, white clouds, layers of high mountains, green mountains and trees, gurgling streams... We are all looking forward to arriving there soon... Everyone says that my hometown is good. After you see the scenery here, you will also feel that the mountains and rivers in the deep mountains and valleys near Beijing are indeed beautiful.
Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery Scenic Area is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast of Yanqing County, adjacent to Huairou District in the east and Chicheng County in Hebei Province in the north.
The name of Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery is just as it sounds. I didn't know there was such a good place in Beijing. The scenery of Baili is beautiful, especially suitable for summer vacation.
It is the best time to take photos here in spring and summer when the flowers are in full bloom. There are all kinds of colors and varieties, so you can take as many photos as you want.
This is the Pearl Spring, a stop before Bailishanshui. Make a sound at the spring and the water will bubble up. The scenery here is very good and suitable for a weekend vacation
Yanqing Baili Landscape Gallery is located near Qianjiadian Town, 40 kilometers away from Yanqing County. There are green mountains and clear waters on both sides of the road, which is suitable for self-driving or cycling.
From Changling in Changping District, head north to Baihebao Reservoir (Yanshan Tianchi). From here, follow the Baihe River, go east through Qianjiadian Geopark, Petrified Wood Geopark, and Dripping Pot Scenic Area, all the way to Tanghekou in Huairou and then south back to Beijing. The distance from Baihebao Reservoir to Dripping Pot Scenic Area is about 50 kilometers, so people call it the Hundred Miles Landscape Gallery. There are various geological phenomena here, with mountains of different shapes, showing the characteristics of Beijing area belonging to the ocean billions of years ago. There is a huge rock, and you can actually see water ripples and marine fossils. This road requires self-driving, and it is more difficult to take public transportation. Self-driving can stop along the way to enjoy the scenery, but buses cannot stop at will.
