There are fireflies and lights all over the city in Haidian District. What else can you not be satisfied with? Fireflies are very fragile. If you see fireflies, please do not disturb them.

Baiwangshan Forest Park is located at No. 19, Heishanhu North Exit, Haidian District, Beijing, only 3 kilometers away from the Summer Palace. The mountain is gentle and suitable for outings. In autumn, Baiwangshan Forest Park is comparable to Xiangshan Park, and the autumn leaves are very colorful.

Located near the Summer Palace, it can be said to be a forest park very close to the city. It is famous for its red leaves in autumn. If you catch the sunny weather in Beijing in winter, it is still very comfortable. Baiwangshan Forest Park is located 3 kilometers north of the Summer Palace in Beijing. Locals call it Wangershan. It is the closest forest park to the city. Baiwangshan covers an area of more than 200 hectares. The Beijing-Miyun water diversion channel passes around the mountain. There are trees and shrubs interlaced, and the air is particularly fresh without man-made pollution. Baiwangshan has dense forests and a vegetation coverage rate of more than 95%. It is known as the oxygen source of Beijing City.

The mountain is not high, and you can reach the top in about half an hour. It takes about two or three hours to walk around the whole mountain. If you take a break, you can walk around it in four hours. It is a very good destination for weekend outings. There is a relatively small Anti-Japanese War Memorial Garden in the back mountain, and some facilities for plant science popularization. There is also a grassland where team building is held.

The scenery is nice, especially when the weather is clear, you can see far away, it's a natural oxygen bar.

Weather is very important! The weather was very good on the day I went there, and the scenery was very beautiful. The ticket was 6 yuan, which was very cheap.

I entered from the north gate and exited from the east gate. I chose a compromise route and saw most of the attractions. I walked 7.04 kilometers.

It's okay. Haha. Let me touch it.

I went there very early in the morning. It was a great day. The air was very good. I reached the top of the mountain very early. There were old men doing Tai Chi. The air was very fresh and worth going. The mountain is not high, but it feels good to shuttle between the trees. October is the best time.

My husband praised me for taking such a beautiful photo of a pile of rotten leaves😀

By Muqing |

Climbing Baiwang Mountain, you can see the scenery at a glance. Just as the couplet says: Watch the water, the mountain, and the weather, look east, north, and Beijing. I just missed the best time to watch the red leaves. Last weekend, the mountain should have been covered with red leaves. However, I unexpectedly found a little squirrel, awesome 👍

2018.03.24, rushing to spring, hiking for 2 hours, I come here in every season, it is suitable for relaxing on weekends.

By vanceni_99 |

The whole family went to Baiwang Mountain to see the red leaves on the weekend. Unfortunately, the color change rate of the leaves was only 30%-40%, but the scenery was still beautiful and did not affect our good mood! There is a nearly 6-kilometer winding mountain walking avenue. In order to increase the fun and improve the enthusiasm of the children, we chose to climb the mountain. The children found several birds with bright feathers in the shade of the trees in the mountains, which was very exciting! There is a large lawn at the foot of the mountain. The grass is very thick. Many children lie on it and roll over as soon as they step on the lawn. It is also easy to find small insects such as grasshoppers in the grass. This has become a paradise for children. There is also a place called "Childhood Forest" natural tracking trail in the mountain. There are several small wooden blocks and other wooden toys. Children never get tired of playing and linger. In a blink of an eye, the sun is about to set. After running and jumping for three and a half hours, we are still not satisfied. We look forward to coming to Baiwang Mountain next time!

Baiwang Mountain is located in the north of the Summer Palace. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the top of the mountain by taking the hiking trail. The top of the mountain has a good view. You can overlook the northwest corner of the Fifth Ring Road in the south, a large new city in the east, and rolling mountains in the northwest. Baiwang Mountain has perfect hiking routes, with two types of 4KM and 5.8KM, and a mini glass observation deck. Although this place cannot be compared with many famous places in Beijing, it is a good place for hiking and leisure.

【Baiwang Mountain】 I can only see the lower Haidian from a distance. I want to see the CCTV Tower and the lake of the Summer Palace. The smog doesn't allow it. The hillside there is not high. The hillside is very clean. It is worthy of being an oxygen bar. The route is to get out of Exit A of Malianwa on Line 16 and walk 700 meters west to see it. When going down the mountain, I met a mountaineering enthusiast and a talkative uncle. Listening to their conversation, I really felt that life can be so fulfilling and rich. It was a good solo mountain climbing trip

By Ice |

It's OK. It's convenient to take the bus. Exit A of Malianwa Station on Line 16 and walk 700 meters. The ticket is 6 yuan. The slope is not very steep and is relatively gentle. Many elderly people also go to climb. You can see the capital from the top of the mountain. There is a Taijun Temple on the top of the mountain. The glass plank road is only symbolically built with two pieces. There are several kinds of vegetation along the way. I recognize them. I only know the common name, not the scientific name, mountain peach, wild peach, buds, money tree, pine tree, mulberry tree, maple tree, dandelion, bitter hemp, yellow walnut tree, pot-breaking, bowl-breaking, forsythia, barberry. If you go out in April, they have already grown hairy peaches. Most of the vegetation has bloomed.

"Facing the East China Sea, embracing Beijing, the first outpost of Taihang Mountains, looking up at the sky and observing all things, a hundred views intoxicate tourists"

During the Qingming Festival in Beijing, except for the moderate to severe smog, the weather is very good, so it is worth going out for a walk.

[Why go to Baiwang Mountain?] I originally wanted to go to Fenghuangling to enjoy the flowers and climb the mountain. I took Line 4 and got off at [Beigongmen], and found that there were so many people! Although you can take the flower-viewing train to Fenghuangling, the queues are so long that I don’t know how long the queue will end. The bus is also crowded and I don’t know how long the queue will end. I looked at the bus stop sign and found that it was only 3 stops to Baiwang Mountain. The distance is close, which can satisfy my desire to climb the mountain!

【Introduction】Baiwang Mountain, also known as Wanger Mountain, is 210 meters above sea level. It is a national AAA-level tourist attraction. It is named after the two villages, Dongbeiwang and Xibeiwang, at the foot of the mountain. There is also a folk legend that "Yang Liulang of the Northern Song Dynasty fought a great battle with Liao soldiers at the foot of the mountain, and Lady She climbed the mountain to watch the battle and cheer for Liulang, so it is also called "Wanger Mountain." In 1991, Comrade Zhang Youyu was invited to write the plaque "Baiwang Mountain". Baiwang! Baiwang! It can be seen from a hundred miles away.

[Transportation] Take Line 4 and get off at [Beigongmen]. You can see the [Metro Beigongmen] bus station as soon as you get out. Because there are really many passengers at the [Metro Beigongmen] bus station, it is recommended to walk to the next stop [Summer Palace Beigongmen]. Of course, if you can find a shared bicycle, you can also ride a bicycle there. I walked there, it's not far.

【Tickets】6 yuan/person for adults, half price for students

【Go!Go!Go!】For those who want to climb mountains, Baiwang Mountain is worth a visit! I bought a ticket and entered Baiwang Mountain Forest Park. Since I didn't have a map, I followed the tourists up the trail. This trail is quite steep (60°) and the stones on the road are a bit slippery. Once you get up, you must insist on climbing to the top. There is no way back!

The sun in Beijing was getting scorching hot. I wanted to give up, but there was no way out. I could only take a break, drink some water and continue climbing. How far is it? I don't know. How long will it take to reach the top? I don't know. As a result of my perseverance, I finally reached the top in less than 30 minutes.

After reaching the top, I saw the Teaching Platform and the statue of Lady She, who was looking into the distance, hoping for her son's return; I saw the Temple of Lady She, but the plaque hanging at the door was dilapidated; I saw the Wangjing Tower, which was 3 stories high, but unfortunately I couldn't go up; I saw a short section of the glass plank road... It was not bad... but it was covered by smog...

After a short rest, it's time to go down the mountain. Of course, you have to choose the main road. There are many forks in the road going down the mountain, so choose whatever you like.

We went to Baiwang Mountain in the afternoon. There were not many people there, and the air was nice and it felt great.

By Alone with the wind |

The Baiwang Mountain Scenic Area seems to be divided into small and large loops for hiking. I was exhausted and my feet were sore, but I just wanted to quickly complete the small loop and reach the top.

As soon as you enter the gate of the scenic area, there is a small square. On the left is the "Health Trail". The entire uphill trail is a smooth cement road, and there is no obstacle for business leather shoes.

Most of the tourists in the scenic area are residents of the city, some are here to relax with their children, and most are here for hiking and fitness. I am the only one in the scenic area who is dressed in outdoor clothes and has a SLR camera hanging around his neck.

The biggest advantage of Baiwang Mountain Scenic Area is that the signposts are very clear, and the distance and approximate number of steps to each scenic spot are marked very specifically. Most importantly, these distances are not too far, which I can accept!

However, although the road is flat, the slope is very steep. When going up, I bent over and tried to take big steps forward step by step. It was okay; but when I got down the mountain, I suffered a lot! Many times, my knees couldn't bear it, so I had to turn around and take steps backwards. Although the speed was slow, it was a little more comfortable.

It is only a little over two kilometers from the entrance of the scenic area to the "Wangjing Tower" on the top of the mountain.

Although I walked with difficulty and my feet hurt (from motorcycle boots), I was motivated by the road signs that were getting closer and closer. Sometimes, when it was too painful, I would stand there for a while and take a few photos with my SLR, not wanting passers-by to see my miserable appearance.

Fortunately, we didn’t have to walk far and we could see the "Wangjing Tower" not far away from the corridor.

I raised my spirits with satisfaction and walked quickly along the corridor. When I was approaching the bottom of the multi-step stairs in front of Wangjing Tower, I suddenly found the stone tablet with the three characters "Baiwang Mountain" on it. The stone tablet awakened my memory...

So I tried to recall the scenery above while climbing up the stairs, but I failed and forgot...

I stood in a pavilion in the mountains and looked out over the capital city, which should be the Haidian District: densely packed buildings, one closely packed together with no gaps; and how many motor vehicles were generated by the families in these countless windows of rooms?

These cars of all sizes are pouring into the streets, queuing up, going to get off work, going on outings, etc. Where are the roads?

Fortunately, I travel by motorcycle.

I climbed to the highest platform in one go and found that it was just a resting platform for tourists, crowded with vendors selling snacks and toys. The real viewing platform did not have a very wide view. Most importantly, the "Wangjing Tower" was not open to the public, locked and rebuilt brand new without any historical feeling.

There are many stone carvings in the Baiwangshan Scenic Area, most of which are carved with calligraphy works by famous people. Although I like to write, my brush calligraphy is very poor, and I only know a little hard pen calligraphy. After reading a few pieces, I hurried away.

On the way down the mountain, I took out my phone and checked my step count on WeChat: more than 24,000 steps, which broke my own personal record!

go home...

Baiwangshan Forest Park (the highest point in the park is 210 meters above sea level) is located 3 kilometers north of the Summer Palace. It is the closest forest park to the city. The main attractions are the Capital Green Cultural Stele Forest, Wangertai, She Taijun Temple, Friendship Pavilion and Lanfeng Pavilion (for viewing red leaves) at the gate of the park. It is a good place for people of all ages to climb and enjoy the red leaves. When the weather is good, you can see most of Beijing. Then, if you don't want to go to Xiangshan to enjoy the red leaves, Baiwangshan is also a good place to enjoy the red leaves on weekends.

Park ticket: 6 yuan/person;

Bus routes: Special Bus No. 4, Special Bus No. 6, Yuntong Bus No. 112, Bus No. 584, Bus No. 330, etc. Get off at Baiwangshan Forest Park Station.

Baiwangshan Forest Park is really worth a visit. There are still many wild animals on its mountain. My good friend and I thought that we could go down the mountain by the small road after the main road. We trotted down the mountain excitedly. Unfortunately, we encountered a snake on the small road. It was a scary scene. My friend who is nearsighted was behind us. I shouted in front of her and told her to run up the mountain quickly. I was scared and sweated. Although it may not hurt people, I don’t like it either. I would like to remind friends who are going there to travel in groups and pay attention to safety.

I went from the east gate. The mountain is not high, suitable for children to play. It is a natural oxygen bar. I only went to Wangjing Tower. It took two hours to go up and down the mountain. I didn't go to the farthest Wangxiang Tower. The environment is very good and parking is convenient. It's not expensive at 2 yuan per hour! An unexpected surprise is that there is a short section of glass plank road, which is very exciting to experience! It is suitable for weekend travel to exercise! I hope it will be helpful to friends who are preparing to go.

The mountain is very low near China Agricultural University and you can climb it in half an hour. The bus is quite convenient. The fare is 6 yuan. I think the scenery is very average.

By Stewing a goose with an ice cart on its back |

This park is relatively small, and the ticket price is 6 yuan. It is easy to climb to the top of the mountain, and the autumn scenery is also good. It is very suitable for weekend hiking and fitness. Friends from other places can ignore this place if they are short of time.

By aurora |

I have been to Baiwang Mountain three times. For friends from other places, it is not a famous tourist attraction and is not worth visiting, but for Beijingers, it is very suitable for you who want to be quiet. I live in Wudaokou, and it takes only ten bus stops to Baiwang Mountain, and it takes about 40 minutes to get there. The mountain is not high, but the top of the mountain is enough to overlook Beijing. You can enjoy flowers in spring, escape the heat in summer, climb high and look far in autumn, and it is covered with snow in winter. What better place to climb high than it at your doorstep? Invite a few friends, bring a picnic mat, find a flat ground on the mountain, play cards, play board games, and drink some wine, and have a lot of fun.

The red leaves in Baiwangshan Forest Park are particularly famous. The red leaves here have formed a large area of pure forest. After the first frost, thousands of acres of red leaves compete for beauty, covering the mountains and forests with red. It is one of the best places for Beijing people to enjoy red leaves, take photos, and take pictures.

By Beans in Nanshan |

The remnant of Taihang Mountain and the magnificent scenery of Xishan Mountain. It is very convenient to travel by bus. The advantage here is that there are fewer people. The ticket is only 6 yuan, but the red leaves are not worse than those in Xiangshan Mountain, but there are fewer scenic spots and historical sites. There are many small paths, which feel like winding paths, suitable for aimless wandering. The roads are basically hardened, accompanied by mountains and rivers, especially suitable for the elderly and children to travel, and it is worth recommending for family travel.

Baiwangshan Forest Park is located 3 kilometers north of the Summer Palace in Beijing. Locals call it Wangershan. It is the closest forest park to the city. Come here in late November every year to see the red leaves all over the mountains. It is very beautiful, much more than the red leaves in Xiangshan. I live in Xiangshan. Every year when I enjoy the red leaves, I can't see the red leaves in Xiangshan. I can only see people, haha! Baiwangshan is better, with more red leaves, fewer people, and the mountain is not high. The scenery is beautiful. It is a good place for tourism, leisure and taking pictures! I recommend Baiwangshan for seeing red leaves. The ticket price is super cheap and it is not far from the city.

It's really great and quiet. There aren't many people. I hope those who go hiking can bring hiking sticks because the slope is really steep and not easy to walk. There are many quiet places that always give people a mysterious feeling. The environment and air are very good, so I highly recommend going there! ∧∧

There is no great scenery, but it is close to the city and you can go hiking. Many elderly people go hiking for fitness.

By Mole |

It's OK. The mountain is not very high. I went hiking with two friends. It's really nice to look at Beijing from the top. There is a small shop every few steps, so you don't have to worry about bringing a lot of water and food. Because the weather was not warm when we went there, we didn't see many flowers blooming, only the trees were just sprouting. It would be more fun to go there in summer. If you look closely, you will find something on one of the photos. It's a bee that flew onto the camera. Ha~ When you are in a good mood, you will feel good to go anywhere!

We went to Baiwang Mountain Forest Park at the end of September last year. Baiwang Mountain is 210 meters above sea level and is the last ridge of the Taihang Mountains that enters Beijing. My husband feels very good about this place. The mountain is not very high, so you don’t have to climb to the top of the mountain to make the acid in your leg muscles and the desire to die sprout together; and although Baiwang Mountain is in Haidian, it is different from those famous scenic spots in Beijing. There are not many people here, and it is a very quiet place. My husband is losing weight recently, and we said it’s a good time to go hiking.

The mountain road is very clean and tidy, especially easy to walk~

From the top of this mountain, you can see the lake of the Summer Palace, the CCTV Tower, Pangu, and the elevated road next to the Bird's Nest. I don't know if it's because the air in Beijing is not very good. Even if the sky is clear, standing on the top of the mountain and looking over, the sky still feels a little white.

By Miss Huang takes photos everywhere |

I've been there several times, and it feels like the mountain behind my home O(∩_∩)O haha~ There are relatively few people, and they all come here to climb the mountain for exercise. Walking along the main road, walking into the small path by yourself is deep into the dense forest, and it feels particularly quiet

By Follow me everywhere |

The park is well built and has convenient public transportation. It is a good place to see the red leaves. It is less crowded than Xiangshan and closer than Hongluo Temple.

There used to be a small temple here, and a few stone piles. Legend has it that Lady She looked to the north from here, waiting for her relatives to return triumphantly from the battle! Therefore, this mountain is called "Wang'er Mountain".

A few years ago, a new temple was built on the mountain, a statue of Lady She was erected, and admission was charged.

During the autumn red leaves season, this is also a good choice for viewing the red leaves.
