Beijing Fang

北京坊

Beijing Wangfu is a new cultural landmark in Beijing. Hutong is the most familiar expression for Beijingers. Beijing Wangfu has preserved and continued important land veins such as Langfang Toutiao, Langfang Ertiao, Menkuang Hutong, Sanfu Hutong, etc., to protect and reshape the original historical appearance of the local area to the greatest extent, showing the collision of ancient charm and fashion in Beijing.
There are many landscape and cultural places designed in the open blocks of Beijing Fang. The central building, Beijing Quanyechang, has three floors above ground and one floor underground. There are three atriums in the depth direction of the interior, and three-story corridors around it. The street facade is Baroque, and the entrance is a Western-style door cover. The second and third floors are decorated with pilasters, window frames and balconies, and the eaves are parapets. The interior decoration is exquisite. It is the first building in Beijing with a box elevator and a playground. It was once known as the "No. 1 Commercial Building in Beijing."

The Beijing Wang project is located in the northeast corner of the Dashilan Historical and Cultural Protection Area in Xicheng District. It stretches from Meishi Street in the west to Zhubao Street in the east, from Xiheyan Street in the north to Langfang Ertiao in the south, covering a total area of 33,000 square meters. It is a cluster of buildings consisting of nearly 50 old and new buildings, with Quanyechang, a national cultural relic protection site, as the core. The first phase of the project, which was completed and opened in early 2017, has a total of 17 buildings. The business format mainly consists of four parts: theme dining, art and culture, experience interaction, and boutique life. Beijing Wangfu is a commercial area that just opened in 2017, right next to Qianmen Street. The traffic is not as much as Qianmen Old Street, and it is mainly young people. There are many Internet celebrity stores, PageOne Bookstore, Starbucks Select Flagship Store (you need to queue to enter the store, so I gave up!), and MUJI Hotel are all good

Qianmen Beijing Fang is a good place with good food and fun. It perfectly integrates elegance and fashion with the old Hutong streets. There are snacks such as fried tripe and fried sausage, as well as fashionable restaurants such as Beiping Garden. There are many sculptures, folk customs and snacks on Qianmen Street.

The high-end shopping district near Qianmen has many luxury stores as well as affordable bookstores.

By Wandering Sleeper |

Beijing Wang is mainly a place for selling things. There are some specialty shops, bookstores and cafes. The overall feeling is pretty good.

It feels like the most recent place to love! If compared with Shanghai, it would probably be a place similar to Xintiandi.

By Ariel |

Great business district. Coming from the front gate, it's like entering another world, modern and fashionable. There are many buildings from the Republic of China, mixed together, very beautiful

By I love shopping |

A new check-in spot, next to Dashilan, Xianyukou, and Qianmen. It is convenient to visit the scenery of Qianmen after visiting the Forbidden City.

There are so many people here. There are so many people here.

By Monchichi |

I happened to pass by here. There is Starbucks, MUJI, Watsons, and a few delicious restaurants in the basement. It is a good place to buy some travel equipment, sunglasses, hats, makeup remover, and parasols. It feels a bit like a maze.

On the west side of Qianmen Street outside the Zhengyangmen Archway, the newly built Beijing Wangfu is the latest popular check-in area for Internet celebrities. It brings together many Internet celebrity elements such as PAGE ONE, Starbucks Workshop, MUJI Hotel, Beijing Garden, etc., becoming a new must-visit attraction on Qianmen Street.

After the failed renovation of Qianmen Street, another major renovation! This time, it has been transformed into a modern style and is very popular among young people. There are many new stores settled in, you can go around

By Crazy Swim |

It is a new area in Qianmen that combines Chinese and Western styles. A large number of specialty stores are here, including PAGE ONE Bookstore, MUJI Hotel, Harrods Yingyuan, Voyage Coffee, Starbucks flagship store, etc. Unfortunately, I arrived late and most of them were almost closed. I guess this will also be a leisure and check-in base for many people in summer.

There is a newly built shopping district along the Xihe River of Qianmen Street, but overall the business atmosphere is not very strong.

Qianmen is very quiet at night, not as noisy as Xidan Wangfujing. The newly opened Beijing Wangfu is worth a visit. I recommend pageone, Starbucks Reserve, Muji Hotel, and Beiping Garden (if you want to dine, you must make a reservation three or four days in advance)

The place I arrived at on the day of my departure was too short to stay here. In fact, it is worth a good visit. There are many sensible shops and various alleys next to it. I think I can spend a whole day here.

Beijing is still not mature enough to build this kind of commercial district, which is far from comparable to Shanghai Xintiandi. The design and grade are much worse. For the same merchant, take Starbucks for example. If you have been to the Starbucks in Shanghai Xingye, the one in Beijing Wang can only be described as simple. However, the atmosphere next to it still has some elements of old Beijing and some flavor. Beijing is not a place that leads trends and fashion. Its advantages are still reflected in the accumulation of cultural history. Therefore, it is the right way to explore the old Beijing culture, the imperial city culture and the canal culture, and give full play to the advantages.

The renovated characteristic commercial district, the old Qianmen commercial district that was in decline in the past, has been completely renovated. New fashion elements have been added, and the old architectural style of the Republic of China has been re-used to create new fashion elements. An old song has been given a new chapter. I like Muji Hotel Beijing, Starbucks Select, One Page Bookstore, and various fancy restaurants.

We took a taxi to Beijing Wang. Beijing Wang had just opened not long ago. The taxi lady was a little confused as to whether this place existed. Hahaha, it is also a place that is particularly suitable for taking photos, with many Internet celebrity shops.

By Kooky Daddy |

Beijing Wangfu is close to Qianmen Street and Dashilan, but there are really few people. Just a few steps away from the bustling commercial street, it feels like entering a paradise, quiet and beautiful.

By Wangfu Hill |

It is a pity that all of them are fake scenes created later. Although they are new and beautiful, they are far inferior to the charm of the old Qianmen street scene. They are like movie sets and are hard to stop looking at.

By Gong Xiaochu |

Discovering Beijing Wang was a big surprise. This newly opened place has so many surprises. Page One and Starbucks Reserve are all located here, as well as a number of delicious places such as Juqi. It is close to Qianmen and the transportation is very convenient. You can do whatever you want. Apart from the above, Beijing Wang itself is also a good place for licenses. Many buildings are very distinctive and worth a visit!

By Tonne |

It feels like 798. The photos are not good. It will be more beautiful in person. It is very suitable for taking pictures. It will be better during the day.

By Follow me everywhere |

Beijing Wang is a cultural estate built under the name of "cultural industry" on the basis of old city reconstruction. Seven architects created eight new buildings along the street with Qianmen Quanyechang as the center. It is also a brand new "Chinese lifestyle experience area".

By Daxuanzi's Travels |

A strong Barlotti style, guarded by security guards, you may not be able to get in, just try your luck

Beijing Wang commercial district is very good to visit

By Haitao |

The internet-famous "Yingyuan" afternoon tea and "Beiping Garden" restaurant, as well as the later-opened "Starbucks" flagship store, are all located here. It has gradually become a new generation of internet-famous photo-taking and eating destination in Beijing! Beijing Wang is also a great place to take your kids out, and it's worth spending a day to experience it.

By Xiaoyan |

The muji hotel in Beijing Fang and the photo-taking spots everywhere made me fall in love with it🤠🤪

By Babaomei |

Beijing Wang is like a small 798, a small cultural district.

By Galloping Mule |

Compared to the crowded Dashilan, Beijing Wang is much quieter. As a new landmark of Beijing culture, Beijing Wang is a commercial building that showcases the ancient charm and cultural collision of the capital. It is a suitable place for taking photos.

By The Prince's New Clothes |

A group of Beijing (antique) buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Its main function now is a cultural and creative space. There are many interesting exhibitions from time to time, and there is also a very good Page One bookstore.

By @Leesplace |

Qianmen Street has always lacked high-end businesses. As Beijing vacates non-capital functions, a large number of low-end businesses in Qianmen area have been renovated. Beijing Fang is a place for petty bourgeoisie to relax in Qianmen area with a good environment. There is also the first MUJI hotel in China here.

By web |

It's very unique, nice! The store and the building are very tasteful

By Keep walking |

Beijing Wang is a large area near Qianmen, which is a multifunctional complex covering accommodation, food, shopping, exhibitions, entertainment, etc. Although it has been completed for many days, many shops are still closed or have not been introduced yet.

During the day and at night, the buildings in Beijing Wang give people two different feelings. It is nice to just wander around here. The only drawback is that it is too winding, like a maze, with winding roads that make it difficult to walk through it in one go.

There will be exhibitions at irregular intervals, and there will be spray cooling in the summer, but there is too much combination of indoor and outdoor, and it is not very comfortable with the alternating heat and cold.

Currently, the most popular places are cinemas and casinos. The Muji Hotel has just opened recently, so the popularity here should increase.
