Beijing Garden Expo Park is the venue for the 9th China International Garden Expo. It is located in the green ecological development zone along the Yongding River in Fengtai District, southwest Beijing, with a total area of 267 hectares. It is adjacent to the new right bank of the Yongding River in the east, Yingshan Park in the west, Meishikou Road in the south, and Lianshi West Road in the north. It relies on the Yongding River and echoes the Lugou Bridge in the distance. It has a strong historical and cultural atmosphere, varied terrain, and mountains and rivers. It is quite distinctive. The Garden Expo Park is the Garden and Flower Expo Park. The main exhibition hall of the Beijing Garden Expo covers an area of 3.2 hectares and a construction area of 50,000 square meters. As the main building in the core area of the Garden Expo Park, it is mainly used to display domestic and foreign gardening art, as well as new technologies, new materials, and new achievements in landscaping, and to display various garden art works such as strange stones, flower arrangements, and bonsai.
The first feeling is that it is too big! One day is not enough to walk around! The gardens of various provinces and cities in China have been reduced in size to show their typical characteristics, and many countries in the world have also moved their own gardens. After the exhibition ended, I haven't gone in to see it for many years. But on the side of the Garden Expo Park, a Chinese Garden Museum was built. This museum is really good. I take my grandchildren to play there almost every month. There are Chinese classic garden architectures and international garden picture displays, mandarin ducks, swans, wild ducks, and ornamental fish. The displays in the museum are very vivid and attractive to children.
The exhibition gardens in various areas of the Garden Expo Park have their own characteristics. There are many landscapes to see, including the Jinxiu Valley built from a garbage dump, the Lianshi Lake on the north side of the park, the Yongding Tower and Wenchang Pavilion on the mountain. The scenery is beautiful and the environment is beautiful. The scenic area is very large. It will take a day to see them all if you are fast.
The best scenery was when the park was first opened in 2013. The facilities were in good working order, the water supply was sufficient, and a subway was specially built. I heard that it is not as good as before, but now there is the World Horticultural Exposition, so you have to hurry up to see the beautiful scenery.
A large park left by the event, a gathering of national ethnic gardens
The scenery is nice, but some of the landscape is old and damaged, which affects the appearance
It is a big park. There are activities every year, including various running and fitness activities. You can pay more attention to it.
This park is worth visiting countless times. You can enjoy the architecture from all over the country and appreciate the customs of different regions without feeling too crowded or too noisy.
Beautiful environment, large area, no problem to play for a day or two on weekends, ticket price is only 20 yuan, pass, relax and feel the slow pace of Beijing
The Garden Expo Park is so big that it would take a whole day to walk through it. There are cars for rent, but the car is a family package and it is too slow to ride. It would be better if there were small yellow cars or Mobike.
A nice garden built on a landfill
I went there during the Lantern Festival in 2017. It took me 1 hour to see the night view and 2 hours to get out of the parking lot! Very good
Very big, fun, convenient transportation. Very good.
It is recommended to enter Gate 3 or Gate 4. The attractions of various provincial capital cities are nearby. Renting a multi-person bicycle requires scanning the QR code with WeChat and the first charge is 450 yuan, 60 yuan for a three-person bicycle, and 80 yuan for a five-person bicycle. Be careful not to exceed the time limit. I exceeded the time limit by 2 minutes and the additional charge was 40 yuan. Lock the bicycle and scan the QR code at the rental place. The cheapest mineral water costs 4 yuan. The place is very large and it takes a whole day to play around. It is still worth it.
The Garden Expo Park is very large, and the ticket price is 20 yuan. You can take Metro Line 14 to the Garden Expo Park Station and enter the park at Gate 2. The scenic spot is suitable for spring and autumn. Be sure to bring enough water and food. There is no bag storage service in the park. You can get a free map of the scenic spot by following the scenic spot WeChat account.
I went to see the Lantern Festival during the Lantern Festival, but I haven't been there during the day. But seeing the basic layout at night and the collection of different styles of gardens from all over the country in one large garden, I am still looking forward to going again. The transportation is not very convenient, and you have to walk a long distance from the nearest subway station.
I went there on November 9th. The ticket was 20 yuan and parking was 5 yuan per hour. I walked around for 3 hours and only covered about one-fifth of the park. The area was so large that I almost pressed the emergency button. Of course, there are bicycle rentals inside. There are miniature versions of signs from all over the country on display inside. Walking around inside is like visiting various places. It is well built. There is also a place here - Jinxiu Valley, which used to be a garbage dump, but now it has become a small garden. It combines the Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing and is very beautiful and worth seeing.
The area inside is too large. Friends who have time can take two days to come and see it. If you don’t have time, I suggest you enter from Gate 6 and go to the Garden Museum first. No tickets are required here, just your ID card. Then buy a ticket and go in to see the Yongding Tower and the exhibition next to it. This will save time.
If you go in early November, you may be able to catch the falling leaves of the ginkgo trees. If you go in mid-November, you must see the yellow reed marshes. Walk to the right front after entering the gate (many people walk to the left front, there is a viewing platform where you can overlook the scenery, but you can't see the reeds), and then you will reach the wetland park area. The large, fluffy reed spikes are very cute. The view from the high-speed rail overlooking the park is quite beautiful, but after walking in, the view is average. If you have time and it's not far away, you can go for a walk.
A leisure park with beautiful scenery, often hosting various activities, such as the Lantern Festival, a garden suitable for relaxation all year round.
It also takes a whole day to play here. The place is relatively large. You can play along one side, walk along it, and then walk in the opposite direction. It is worth a visit. The small scenery inside is very beautiful, but you have to walk a lot and need physical strength. With a pair of comfortable shoes and some supplies, you can have a happy day. The food in the scenic area doesn't look delicious. It's better to bring some food with you, haha. It doesn't matter if you don't care about food. The water park will be opened in summer and charged separately. It seems to be 98 yuan per person. I personally don't think it's necessary to come here to play in the water.
The sky was great on the day I went there. I felt like I was walking in a painting that day. I rarely encountered such beautiful weather in Beijing in recent days, so the Garden Expo Park was very beautiful that day.
The two gardens that seem to be built more carefully are the Beijing Garden and the Jiangnan Garden.
Beijing Garden Expo Park is located on the west bank of Yongding River in Fengtai District, north to Lianshi West Road, south to the west extension of Meishikou Road, west to Beigong Road, southwest to Garden Expo Avenue, the exhibition area covers 267 hectares, Garden Expo Lake covers 246 hectares, and the total area is 513 hectares. Garden Expo Park relies on the Yongding River and echoes the Marco Polo Bridge. It has a strong historical and cultural atmosphere, varied terrain, and mountains and rivers. It is quite unique and has become a shining pearl in the green ecological development belt of Yongding River. Beijing Garden Expo Park is a large public welfare urban park integrating garden art, cultural landscape, ecological leisure, and popular science education.
There is a special garden in each province and city across the country in the park. I remember there were so many people during the Garden Expo. The Garden Expo Park is so large that if you stop in each garden, it will take a whole day.
Although the Garden Expo Park is no longer as grand as it once was with the closure of the Garden Expo, it is still a good place to walk around as a large park. For example, many half marathons and running competitions are held here every year.
Beijing Garden Expo Park is the venue for the 9th China International Garden Expo. It covers a large area and has a strong historical and cultural atmosphere. It reflects the architectural styles of many countries and regions. The park has unique terrain and mountains and rivers. Walking here makes people feel relaxed.
The same name as the father
I went there in early November 2016. It got cold early in Beijing that year, and there was not a single ginkgo tree left!
The first time I went there was for a course survey. The second time I went there was with a classmate from the same major. I didn't finish the two visits. You can come back to enjoy the 8 Master Gardens when you have time.
The ticket is 20, the place is quite big, walking is a bit tiring, and renting a car is a bit expensive!
In the hot summer, the garden is full of pleasing green plants. Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, and there are few visitors. It is a good place to enjoy the breeze and cool down.
The park is very large, and it is especially suitable for taking photos when the weather is good~~~~~~
Metro Line 14 goes directly to the park. After getting off the subway, you will reach Gate 1. Walk 800 meters to Gate 2 to buy tickets to enter the park. Adult tickets are 20 yuan per person. There is a place to rent bicycles at the entrance. There are no bicycles. There are two-person, three-person, and multi-person models. The one-hour fees are 40 yuan, 60 yuan, and 80 yuan respectively. There are also sightseeing trains that stop at the station. The gardens of various provinces and cities in the Garden Expo Park were funded and built by local governments. This explains why some gardens are large and beautifully built, while some gardens are simple and withered. We went there until our legs were weak. We walked a whole circle along the main road and only visited two-thirds of the garden. We couldn't walk to other places, so we left it for another chance to visit next time.
It is very large inside, and it takes two full days to see each garden completely. It is recommended to spend one day to focus on visiting several special gardens such as the Garden Museum and Suzhou Garden.
I went there in October 2013. It was past the peak season, but there were still a lot of people. The experience was not very good. Maybe I had too high expectations.
The Garden Expo Park is located in Fengtai District. It is so huge! I spent five hours there from 9 am to 2 pm. I couldn't walk any more at the end, but I didn't know how much I hadn't seen. If you drive from Lianshi West Road to the north, you can see it when you are close to the Sixth Ring Road. If you drive from the south, take the Beijing-Shijiazhuang Expressway and get off at Dujiakan Toll Station. The parking fee is 10 yuan. It is really recommended to drive there, otherwise your legs will be broken by the end of the tour, and you will have no energy to take public transportation home.
A large man-made outdoor garden landscape with many beautiful views
The scenery is not as good as when the World Horticultural Exposition was held. Now there is almost nothing to see.
Beijing Garden Expo Park is located on the banks of the Yongding River in Fengtai District, Beijing. You can reach it by taking the Metro Line 14 to the Garden Expo Park Station. There are also many buses to take, so the transportation is relatively convenient, and it is not too far from the city! Tickets are 20 yuan per person, and 10 yuan for students and children.
The park is very large and you can't walk around it in a day. There are all kinds of strange stones, flower bonsai and vegetation! The environment in the park is very good, and the family can have fun in it on weekends. You can have a panoramic view of the scenery in the park by climbing the Yongding Tower. There are also many places to eat in the park, so you don't have to worry about what to eat at noon. There are all kinds of food, which is very convenient!
The Garden Expo Park is well maintained, with a quiet and grand scenery, combining education with entertainment. It is directly accessible by subway, and the transportation is convenient.
We have basically visited most of Beijing. This time we wanted to go to Xiangshan, but we were afraid that it would be overcrowded during the National Day holiday, so we chose the unpopular Garden Expo Park. Because of the experience of Zhengding Garden Expo Park, I only regarded this time as a trip to Beijing Garden Expo Park to relax, but I didn't expect to be completely amazed. The ticket price of the Garden Expo Park is also satisfactory. It is not easy to go to a scenic spot with only ten yuan during the National Day holiday. We took the subway line 13-10-14 from Huilongguan and drove backwards. The last line 14 had pink doors and green seats, which was super refreshing. The overall style of the Garden Expo Park subway station is Chinese style and very grand. After getting off the subway station, it is Exit 1, but many entrances are not open now, so we walked all the way to Exit 3 to enter. The whole garden is very large. If you want to visit it all, you must rent a bicycle. There are many characteristic buildings from many countries, but the most amazing thing for me is the China Pavilion. The best views in the China Pavilion are in the Beijing Garden, the Jiangnan Garden, and the Hangzhou Garden, which bring together the characteristic gardens of the north and the south. Sit quietly for a while and all your worries will go away. Every time you walk a distance, there are scenic spots marked to remind you of your current location. You should take a closer look and plan your tour route, otherwise you will miss a lot of wonderful things.
The park is full of unique garden landscapes, which are very fresh and elegant.
Line 14 goes directly there. There are also buses stopping at various gates. It is recommended to rent a bicycle at the entrance, as walking is very tiring. Such a large garden has only been built for more than a year and is already a little abandoned. There are a lot of weeds along the Yongding River, and fountains, roads, and buildings are under repair. Fortunately, I caught up with the triathlon competition, which made up for some regrets. The interaction between China and the West, each garden has its own style. There is a Chinese Garden Museum near Gate 5, which is free of charge. There are many exhibition halls to visit and you can learn a lot. There is also a 4D cinema that requires reservations. It was full when I arrived, which is a pity. The time periods are 10:00, 14:00, and 16:00. It is recommended to make an appointment on the 2nd floor when you arrive at the museum, and then walk around.
It was two years ago, but everything is still so real.
The landscape is newly created, the creativity is average, the garden is not very big but you need to take a shuttle bus.
Since the Garden Expo ended, there is really nothing to see in this Garden Expo Park. The park is quite big, but there is nothing in it. The previous European Garden, Asian Garden and the like are now deserted. The only thing that made the trip worthwhile was to enjoy the musical fountain and see the panoramic view of the green plants in the Garden Expo Park. That's all. I hope the country's money is not wasted and this Garden Expo Park can be renovated better.
Wow...it seems to be the day of my birthday party...let's go celebrate...
I like it very much. It is worth a visit. I spent a day there. The facilities are perfect.
The area preserved from the Garden Expo is very large and not crowded. The Jinxiu Valley is very beautiful.
Because of participating in the Color Run, I had the opportunity to visit the Garden Expo Park. I previously thought that the Garden Expo Park was a park that included various types of gardens, including Suzhou Garden, Beijing Garden, and some foreign-style gardens. As a result, I crossed Beijing and found it very desolate. It was rich enough, but not as exquisite as I imagined. The only good thing was that many garden decorations were quite special. The most impressive thing was the mirror corridor. When people stood between two mirrors, countless copies of themselves would appear. There was also a place that should be a Hui-style building, and the interior has not yet been officially opened.
I went there as a gift from someone. There are Chinese and foreign attractions. When we went there, the foreign venues were supervised by people from the local countries, and the venues of each country were built according to local characteristics. The domestic exhibitions are also very rich, and it is worth a visit.
I participated in the color run here. The park is very large and clean, with mountains, water and buildings.
Overall, it's pretty good. I recommend visiting the Beijing Pavilion, Taiwan Pavilion (where there are local Taiwanese products for sale at an acceptable price), Southern Fujian Pavilion, and Comprehensive Pavilion (where there are many rare plants, strange stones, etc.). If you are still physically fit, you can go to the Yongding Tower. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can choose a good spot to see the panoramic view of the Garden Expo Park. There is an art exhibition in the residential area on the other side of the mountain. It is far from the Comprehensive Pavilion, so you can take a sightseeing bus to get there. It is best to visit the Garden Expo Park when there is a parade of floats. There are many beautiful MMs and handsome GGs, with cartoon shapes, which are very eye-catching. The food inside is a little expensive, so you can bring your own and visit for a day. Sometimes there are performances, so pay attention to the performance time.
I like this kind of natural scenery. . . .
The Garden Expo Park was preserved as a whole after the Garden Expo, and the ticket price is only 20 yuan. Needless to say, the natural scenery is great. The park is so big that it is difficult to visit it in one day. I tried to walk around, but I found that I could only reach 2/3 of the area in 6 hours. If time permits, I suggest going there several times, once to visit the Garden Museum and its three outdoor scenic spots, once to visit provincial and municipal gardens (especially Min Garden, Lingnan Garden, and Jiangsu Garden), once to visit Beijing Garden and Jinxiu Valley, and once to visit the European Garden. Generally speaking, there are few people on weekdays, which is very suitable for taking pictures. Ginkgo Avenue is very long, but the ginkgo trees have not grown up yet. It is estimated that it will take some years to look good.
Beijing Garden Expo Park is located in Fengtai District, Beijing. It is a large-scale flower and garden museum with different scenery in different seasons. It is worth seeing. It is very convenient to take the subway.
1. It is recommended to take a special bus or subway. Take Metro Line 14, get off at Yuanboyuan Station, exit at the northeast exit of Exit B2, follow the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway line on the top of your head, go north and northwest, and you will see Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 3, Gate 4, Gate 5, and Gate 6, with a walking interval of about 10 minutes.
2. It is recommended to bring an umbrella. The rain in Beijing always starts from the west to the east. The rain nearby comes suddenly. There is no place to take shelter outside the Garden Expo Park. If it rains, take shelter from the rain; if it doesn't rain, take shelter from the sun.
3. If you don’t have to go to the toilet, it is recommended that you swipe your card and exit the subway entrance. There is a toilet in front of you on the left, so go there first.
Follow the instructions and exit the subway from Gate B (walk to Gates 1 and 2 of the Garden Expo Park), buy a ticket, and go through security check to Gate 1. The first place you come to is the "Wetland Scenic Area". Open your eyes and take a look. This is the so-called "wetland". It looks exactly like a newly planted rice field. It is a completely artificial "wetland". Even if you keep watering it, it will take two or three years for real reeds and water plants to grow. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not enter from Gates 1 and 2. There is really no scenery to see, and it is a waste of time and energy. You should enter from Gate 3 (you can walk without taking the battery car), and you will see the main scenic area directly and enter the exhibition halls of various provinces, regions and cities.
The so-called international exhibition area is just a few small houses that sell foreign handicrafts, clothing, shoes and hats, including Chinese products.
The participating city gardens of various provinces and regions in the Garden Expo Park are really uneven, some are carefully made, and some are perfunctory. The exhibition garden of the beautiful island of Taiwan is very delicate and unique, including the buildings, which have been carefully designed, built, and decorated. The people's glasses are sharp, and word of mouth has spread to the crowd outside (people who have not yet visited the tour), so there is a long queue in front of the Taiwan Pavilion, waiting to be released in groups, and it feels a bit like the queue at the Shanghai World Expo. When you go in and take a look, it really lives up to its reputation. At least it is relevant and has the characteristics of a horticultural display, unlike some gardens that seem to have nothing to do with the horticultural expo.
Although this farmers' park is completely free to visit, it does not attract many visitors due to its lack of popularity and remote location. However, there were still quite a few people here today, and there were quite a few cars parked in the parking lot at the entrance (you can park anywhere, no one charges).
The Garden Expo Park is really huge. What impressed me most was the Lingnan Garden, which has a southern charm.
Gate 3: Main Exhibition Hall; East side: Taiwan Garden, Tianjin Garden, Macau Garden, Hong Kong Garden, Impression Courtyard, Sunken Garden, Peterlatz Garden, Peter Walker Garden, Watermark 2013, and other foreign style gardens
The parade of floats began, and the scene was very spectacular. Many pavilions were not well built.
Enter door 3, the toilet on the left,
First, we went to Ordos Park. There were many nice views! You can take more photos! There were many helicopters patrolling in the sky!
Each province in the country has its own characteristics! Many museums (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Hangzhou) are not open! There is a rest area at each entrance, and there are water stations, mineral water 3/bottle.
Tips: Friends who are traveling now, please apply sunscreen, wear sun-protective clothing, bring sunglasses and umbrellas. There are few large trees in the park, so it is not suitable for children and the elderly to travel now. It is recommended to go in September! Some park entrances are small and there are no safety passages. Pay attention to safety! If you have time and are physically strong, you can climb Yingshan Mountain to see Yongding Tower and overlook the Garden Expo!
Between Gate 1 and Gate 2 of the Garden Expo Park is the International Pavilion. I have been abroad and have seen too many foreign buildings. The buildings in the park seem very rough. I have selected a few that I like......
The Garden Expo Park is generally good! Even the transformer box has been beautified!
Tips: There is a free bus to gates 3 to 6 outside the subway station. There is only a sightseeing bus to enter the park, which costs 10 yuan each time. The bus cannot stop at every attraction. It seems to go from one gate to another, and there is a long distance between the multiple attractions between these two gates. It is really too big inside, so it is best to have a wheelchair with your mother. The Garden Museum is worth a visit, and then there is the main exhibition hall. The weather is hot, so be sure to bring more water!
Going forward, we first entered the Ningbo Garden, a very unique garden. Many people don’t know what the thing at the back that looks a bit like a turtle and is steaming is, but if it is put together with the cheongsam in front, maybe everyone will guess that it is used to iron clothes - an iron!
It is the Wuhan Garden, which is also very local. Its shape is the first letter W of Wuhan in pinyin.
Next to Han Garden is the beautiful West Lake in Hangzhou, which is like heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below. Pavilions, towers and koi playing in the water can be seen everywhere.
After leaving the Hangzhou Garden, next to it is the Chinese Cultural Inkstone Garden, where there is a national treasure - China's No. 1 Inkstone! It is covered with giant dragons in various postures.
The Min Garden is very large. We visited the residential houses in the front and the garden with hometown characteristics in the back, represented by Mazu and their swallowtail-like beams and roofs!
Next to the Min Garden is the Lingnan Garden, which is also very distinctive, quiet and elegant, with ten scenes. The concept is "Lingnan Ballads, Hometown Feelings".
In addition to presenting different beautiful garden views from all over the country, it also focuses on promoting environmental protection concepts, and environmental protection technology facilities can be seen everywhere.
If you have enough time and energy, I suggest you start from Garden 5 and visit them one by one. At present, the most essential parts of this Garden Expo Park are from Garden 3 to Garden 5, which are the Chinese gardens. Gardens 1 and 2 belong to the International Pavilion. Jingwazi missed Garden 5 because she was not familiar with it. It is said that it is a pity.
There are many garages in the square where you can stay, but they are not open for business yet. After all, they have just opened and the surrounding facilities are not very comprehensive.
It is recommended that you ask the volunteers directly if you have any questions in the Garden Expo Park, as they will know more clearly.
Entering from Gate 3, we first visited the Taiwan Garden. It has a very Taiwanese style. It feels a bit like the Shanghai World Expo. After entering, it is so beautiful, not only the garden, but also the buildings, and the snacks with Taiwanese flavor.
Entering the Beijing Garden feels a bit like entering the Forbidden City, and it has the style of a royal garden.
After leaving Beijing Garden, we saw many beautiful sights, but we were too tired to take pictures. We passed by a large wetland, which was so large that it felt like we walked for a long time before reaching the subway.
Reminder: Be sure to wear a pair of comfortable sneakers, because there are many opportunities to walk! Bring a parasol, because the sun is fierce, you must apply sunscreen, and bring your own food and water, etc., because the supermarkets are very expensive. For example, a cup of milk tea in the fairy forest costs 40 yuan, and a cup of lemon iced tea costs 30 yuan... So for the sake of environmental protection and to save money, bring your own water and dry food.
The Garden Expo Park is dominated by trees, flowers and plants.
A week later, I came to the Garden Expo again. It was a sunny day this time. I suggested that the road of the Garden Expo should be a tree-lined avenue. We were really wilting under the scorching sun. We were too hot to pursue the beautiful scenery... This time at the Garden Expo, the flowers seemed to bloom more beautifully, like a back garden of the Yongding River. I have loved flowers since I was a child, and I really couldn't help myself when I saw these flowers.
The seats in the Garden Expo train are green, which is very appropriate and clean. I like it!
As soon as I got out of the subway, I saw that it was not the Garden Expo, but the Human Expo. You can take the shuttle bus to each gate, but there are many buses and queues. It is really a challenge to choose the day to go.
I went to a group of gardens in the style of an ancient town. It had a bit of the flavor of Wuzhen, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. At this moment, I missed the silence of Wuzhen. I just wanted to go to a quiet place to meditate and think through all these troubles...
Next, we visited the gardens in various places. It felt like we could visit famous scenic spots in various places without leaving Beijing. We saw many familiar figures. However, there were too many people that day and many gardens were very popular, so we could only let people in one by one. We had to queue for half a day, so we decided to go on a less crowded day.
I walked around from 12:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon and still hadn't finished. It's too big, but some places weren't open yet. The food places were too expensive, and the prices were several times higher. And many of the food was sold out if you went too late, especially ice cream. I asked several places and they were all sold out. I can only say that it was too popular that day. It was unwise to go when there were too many people. I hope to go there after it is improved and there are fewer people.
Today, Line 14 was officially opened at 11:00 on May 5. Due to the activity, the clothes distributed by individuals in the society were orange. In order to prepare for the activity, we got up in the morning and could enter Line 14 in advance as long as we showed the clothes. We went to the Garden Expo Park Station and took the shuttle bus to the venue. This carriage was full of people participating in the long walk.
Visiting the Garden Expo is just visiting a big garden, looking for surprises. I personally think there is no place you must go. Those who want to seek excitement and western landscapes should go somewhere else. There are many service areas in the park, so you won't starve to death, just prepare money... We had a meal at KFC, with limited varieties (crispy, spicy, New Orleans burger, chicken wings, soy milk, nine treasures, and egg tarts, I forgot), if you have coupons, you can bring them with you, you can use them, save some money
There is a place to get water in the park, but it smells like disinfectant, so it's better to bring your own. If you don't want to carry it, just buy it in the park. The price is only 2~3 times higher.
It is a fairly large parking lot. It is said that after the official operation, there will be more than 8,000 parking spaces for self-driving cars. The price is 10 yuan per time. Note that it is per time, not time limit. The price is quite generous.
There are many guide signs, which is very convenient. However, you can feel that the Garden Expo Park is very large.
This is my second encounter with the Garden Expo Park. Interesting national system and regional efforts. It is said that today is the last day of the trial operation of the Garden Expo Park, and next week will enter the full commissioning stage, so that person... Today I mainly went to the Chinese Garden Scenic Area between Gate 3 and Gate 4. Good or bad, each has his own opinion.
The roads in the Garden Expo Park are well built, there are not many cars, and the subway is also open, which is very convenient.
I entered from Gate 1, walked to Gate 5, and wanted to exit from Gate 6, but it was too far, so I went back and exited from Gate 5. There is a free shuttle bus at the door to the subway. I personally think it is enough to go there once, but there will be a float exhibition in the future, which will probably be nice. Bring an umbrella with you when you go, there are not many trees inside, and it will be terrible if you go there under the scorching sun.
There are 6 gates in the Garden Expo Park, Gate 1, Gate 2 to Gate 6. My visiting method is 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. This is to avoid the majority of tourists' visits, which saves time, is more efficient and labor-intensive.
The Garden Expo Park is a bit large, and one day's visit would be tight, but the main attractions are not to be missed. The first axis; the Garden Expo axis, namely Ginkgo Avenue, is a north-south landscape avenue from the China Garden Museum to the Wetland Exhibition Garden. Ginkgo is planted along the entire line, 3 kilometers long, and has two areas; the Garden Expo Lake Scenic Area belongs to the Yongding River Basin. It was fully built to cooperate with the holding of the Garden Expo. It is next to the Garden Expo Park. When visiting during the day, you can just look at it from a distance. You can go down to the river, but there is nothing special. There is a musical fountain at night; the Jinxiu Valley Scenic Area makes full use of the existing terrain and transforms the original construction waste landfill into a sunken landscape garden. It mainly displays the Eight Views of Yanjing in Beijing, namely, Clear Snow, Greenery, Morning Moon, Autumn Waves, Spring Shade, Sunset, Smoky Trees, and Baotu.
Three landmarks: 1. Garden Museum, the first national museum with garden as its theme, showing the development, past and future of Chinese gardens; 2. Main exhibition hall, mainly showing domestic and foreign garden art, flower arrangement, bonsai, etc.; 3. Yongding Tower, which is not open to the public and can only be viewed from the outside. Since the last fire, there have been fire trucks waiting here. Five exhibition gardens: Beijing Garden, Lingnan Garden, Fujian Garden, Yijiangnan Garden, Chongqing Garden. After seeing all of them, you have visited all the Garden Expo Parks.
The smell of money is everywhere. No matter which pavilion you go to, there are always people selling things! It is very commercial. I would rather see the development history, celebrity stories and historical process of each region while enjoying the gardens.
After a day of fun, my suggestion is that if you want to visit the Garden Expo Park and try to avoid repeating the same route, no matter what means of transportation you use to arrive at the Garden Expo Park, buy the ticket at Gate 1. It is best to take the shuttle bus outside the park (free) to enter the park from Gate 6, and first visit the Garden Museum near Gate 6. It is said that this museum and the main exhibition hall are the main exhibition halls of the Garden Expo Park. When I visited, I walked from Gate 1 to Gate 6, and I was hot and tired. As a result, when I arrived at the museum, it happened to be 15:33. The museum closed at 17:00, but it was not allowed to enter at 15:00. As a result, I missed the chance to enter. If you want to go in, just go and see it first. If you don’t want to, it doesn’t matter. Maybe the main exhibition hall is also at this time, but I didn’t notice it. After entering the park, there are battery cars running along the Garden Expo axis. It costs 10 yuan to get on the bus and it’s over when you get off. It’s very fast to take the bus, but you can’t visit each garden. After entering the park, there are service points at each gate where you can get cultural activity guides and park maps. First, check what activities are available that day and their times, and then watch them if you are interested.
There are many food in the park, such as KFC. I think the price is not very expensive and you don’t need to bring lunch.
Travel method: Self-driving (Tiguan)
Travel route: Gongzhufen---Lianshi Road---Garden Expo (there are signs for the Garden Expo along the way, so don't worry about getting lost)
Time taken: 30 minutes (because it was Wednesday and I didn’t have to worry about traffic jams, so the time is just for reference)
Private car parking lot: P4 (special private car parking lot, plenty of parking spaces, parking fee 10 yuan/day)
Entrance gate: Gate 4 (the closest gate to P4)
Tickets: 100 yuan/person (there will be many ticket scalpers when parking, 90 yuan/person, because our tickets were given by others...)
Visiting hours of the venue: From Sunday to Thursday, the business hours are until 17:30, and there are no night shows (the main venue closes at 4:30, and the staff of other venues go off work at 5 o'clock). From Friday to Saturday, there are night shows and the venues are open as usual, and there are fountain shows.
We passed the security check at Gate 4 and successfully entered the park. (Based on my experience, I suggest you enter from Gate 3, visit the main hall directly, and then walk west. When you come back, take an electric car. This way you can visit everything and avoid wasting unnecessary energy on the round trip.)
Opposite the entrance of Gate 4, it is built on the mountain, showing the style of the royal garden. You can see the stone wall of the Old Beijing Scenic Area inside. After going up the mountain, you will come down to the musical fountain on the bank of the Yongding River. The recommended time is 0.5 hours. Exit from the side door halfway, you can reach the Qunshi Grand Viewing Platform of Jinxiu Valley, and enter Jinxiu Valley along the water flow and stone steps.
To the northeast of the Space Museum, there are several gardens designed by masters of different styles. Usually there are very few people there, so you can bring your children to visit.
In addition to the garden pavilions in various places, there are many other sights in the Garden Expo Park that are definitely worth seeing.
I think that there are still many places in Beijing Garden Expo Park that show unique craftsmanship, whether it is a plant, a flower, a stone, a pavilion, or even the gravel for paving. When I was visiting, I even suddenly had the idea of living nearby. The volunteers inside are also a highlight, and they can patiently answer questions and guide the way. When there are relatively few people, it is a pleasant thing to walk around, but when there are too many people on holidays, it seems too noisy and destroys the artistic conception of the garden, so you still have to choose the right time to visit.
There are too many people at the Expo
Let's go to the Garden Expo Park.

People who think this way are probably right.
But there are also many people in the Garden Expo Park
From the perspective of private cars
The reception capacity has also been reached
But there are not too many tourists in the park

Talking about the International Garden Expo
Thanks to a few so-called foreign gardens
To maintain the word "international"
It’s better not to visit the Foreign Garden
How many parks are there in each province in China?
No matter how big the park is, it doesn’t matter
