I visited the Grand View Garden more than 20 years ago when I was a junior high school student. Because I loved "Dream of the Red Chamber", I thought it was very big and beautiful. But when I went there recently, I felt that every courtyard in the garden was very shabby. Some courtyards had even become parking lots. There were also a lot of stray cats. It was not as well maintained as other parks. The 40 yuan ticket and the scenery in the garden were really too expensive.

I went to the Grand View Garden twice, once when it was raining and once when it was sunny, once when it was deserted and once when it was crowded. The two times gave me very different feelings, but the Grand View Garden was still the same Grand View Garden.

The location of Daguan Garden is quite remote. If you want to visit it, it will take most of the day including transportation. There is no subway station around the garden. It is best to take the bus. Bus No. 59, 819, 717, 122, 721, 806, 939 and 816 all have Daguan Garden Station.

I believe that everyone is familiar with "Dream of Red Mansions". The only difference is the degree of familiarity and love. Friends who like "Dream of Red Mansions" (especially the 1987 version) will not be disappointed by this garden. I entered the garden from the west gate both times. After entering the garden, Baoyu's Yihong Courtyard and Miaoyu's Longcui Temple were on the right, which is consistent with the book saying that Baoyu's residence is closest to Longcui Temple. Compared with the bustling tourists in Yihong Courtyard, Miaoyu's place is much quieter. Longcui Temple is very simply furnished, with a Buddha statue in the main hall, and a faint smell of incense in the whole courtyard.

The first sentence is: if you really like the Red Mansion, you must come. If you don't like it, don't come here specially. You won't see any Chinese classical architecture or scenery. It exists purely for the Red Mansion.

I don't know if it's the way to get in 😂, Yihong Courtyard is the easiest to find. It also appears a lot in the 1987 version, basically the same. The stone in front of the courtyard is particularly impressive. Next to Yihong Courtyard is Longcui Temple. I don't know if it's because no one goes there or it's been renovated. It feels well protected and looks new. Among the Twelve Golden Hairpins, Pin'er is needless to say, and Miaoyu is second. But the quality of gold and jade eventually fell into the mud.

Walking further in, you will reach the villa for relatives, which is the center of the Grand View Garden. There are many ducks in the lake, and there are many fat cats in Huaxu. Then I went to Daoxiang Village and Qiu Shuang Zhai. Although many people like the Third Girl, I don’t have a deep impression of her. The same goes for Li Wan. I just had a quick visit. However, I like the architectural style of Qiu Shuang Zhai very much.

I found Xiaoxiang Pavilion by looking at the navigation. The three words were not very clear, and Daiyu's wax figure was also moved away. But the charm is still there. Listening to "Wang Ningmei" while walking is really tear-jerking. If there is no fate, I met him again in this life. If there is no fate, how can my heart be in vain.

I like the dialogue between Baoyu and Daiyu in the Red Mansion the most.

"You don't have to coax me. From now on, I won't dare get close to Second Master, and Second Master will treat me as he is."

Hengwu Garden is the most remote one, and it is hard for me to find it, but it is quite impressive. The wax figure of Baochai inside is also quite similar.

The garden closes at 5:30, and I almost left at the right time. There was almost no one there, and it was very quiet. I went out through the door of Longcui Temple, and looked back at the plaque of Grand View Garden.

This place is neither good nor bad, it depends on the individual. If you like Dream of the Red Chamber, then come here. If you don't like it, don't come just for the scenery. I have been to the Grand View Garden three times. The two times I came to the Grand View Garden were because I read Dream of the Red Chamber and couldn't forget the plot and story in it, so I decided to visit here to find the feeling in the book, but the two times were different. One time was when I was still relatively immature, and the other was when I had a deeper understanding of the plot. The third time I came with my children and told them the stories in the book. This time I came very easily.

The cultural attractions were all built in the 1980s. If you go in spring or autumn, the scenery should be better than in summer.

I went there for the villa and the Yihong Kuailv mentioned by Baoyu. I was a little disappointed with the villa, but the wide view in front of the door was beautiful. The flowers are in full bloom.

The fifth day is the last day of the temple fair. There will be excerpts of the play Eight Treasures Soup, Silang Visits His Mother, Princess Yuan's Visit to Her Parents, Granny Liu's high-wire performance, the Golden Rooster Heralding Spring puppet show, and a folk art exhibition... It's lively and festive!

The ticket to Grand View Garden is 40 yuan, and it is not close to other attractions, nor is it convenient. In summer, there are still many tour groups coming to Grand View Garden. The garden is not particularly large, but there are attractions everywhere, enough to spend a day. While walking around the garden, I recalled the stories in the book and thought about the joys and sorrows in the TV series. It really felt like I was there.
