[Time] On the first day of Qingming Festival, I took Line 15 from the city and transferred to Line 936 to Qinglongxia. I set off at around 8:30 and missed the 936. I arrived at around 1:00 pm. The restaurants nearby were a rip-off, not like farmhouse restaurants, and the dishes were few and expensive.

The most regrettable thing is that I didn't get to go rock climbing. I went to buy tickets at about 3 o'clock, and they said that I had to wait until about 6 o'clock. The last bus of 936 was at 5 o'clock, so I was too late.

Friends who want to bungee jump should either not come on holidays or come very early. If you have enough time, it is also good to stay overnight and jump the next day.

In winter, Qinglong Gorge is closed for forestation. This time, there are many tourists just looking at the cars in the parking lot. (Parking fee is 10 yuan)

The adult ticket for Qinglong Gorge is 54 yuan per person.

There are electric cars after entering the scenic area. The ticket price is 15 yuan per person one way. Just take one first!

The car trip was about one kilometer, which was really expensive. The end point was the dam mouth of Qinglong Gorge, and everyone got off the car. I felt a little dizzy when I first got off the car. After careful study, I found out that there are roughly three tour routes:

1. Go up the dam from the dam mouth to see the lake view (Longxia Lake), and participate in extreme activities such as "bungee jumping" and "rappelling" and other water sports (all tourists who buy bungee jumping tickets can get a refund of 27 yuan at the gate of the scenic area);

The second is to cross the dam and go to the opposite side, where there is a scenic spot called "Stone Buddha" and "Jianlong Bridge". There are very few tourists in that area. I also discovered it when I was climbing the Great Wall and looking at the mountains on the opposite side.

Third, after getting off the electric car, walk back a little and you will reach the cable car station. From here, take the cable car to the "Yuhuangtai" Great Wall tower on the top of the mountain.

The cable car fare is 80 yuan per adult for a round trip (50 yuan one way); or you can walk up the mountain from the cable car station and reach the "Yuhuangtai" in about an hour.

Many tourists stood on the dam, watching other tourists' bungee jumping and rappelling on the lake. From time to time, exclamations and cheers were heard from the crowd: some tourists were brave enough to do flips during the bungee jumping.

What is worthy of praise is the toilet in the scenic area.

I often observe the public toilets in each scenic spot and always give them a score in my heart. Many of the public toilets in Qinglong Gorge are temporary toilets, but this temporary toilet is very clean! ! It is voice-controlled. Once you enter, the lights turn on, the ventilation fan starts, and the toilet automatically flushes after using it. The wall mirrors are very clean and bright. Thumbs up!

It was exactly 11 o'clock in the morning when we were ready to climb the mountain (I was looking at the watch). At the very beginning, there were several extremely steep steps. If a tourist was in poor health or lazy, he would probably give up after turning one or two steps.



After I climbed up a few sections at a fast pace, I was out of breath, so I took some photos during the breaks (actually I pretended to take photos to rest for a while, otherwise I would be laughed at for taking frequent breaks).

Along the way, there are amusement places suitable for children and family outings, such as bamboo rafts, bumper boats, shooting and archery. There are many activities and they are very interesting. No wonder there are many tourists here on weekends, they are all parent-child and family tours.

I've been there twice. To be honest, the scenery is just like that in the Beijing area. The key reason I don't recommend going there is that the staff is too poor. The first time I went there was in 2009 with about ten colleagues. After we got in, we took a speedboat. The service staff had a bad attitude and complained that we were slow to get off the boat. They looked like big shots and even swore at us, showing extreme impatience. We don't take the boat every day. Are you so upset that I should be careful when getting on and off the boat?

The second time I went there was in 2015, when I led a group of more than 20 employees. After getting off the cable car, two of us, a man and a woman, used the tap on the ground to fill the water gun with water. Tickets cost money, speedboats cost money, cable cars cost money, all of which are charged items. I came all the way there and spent money to make you guys feel disgusted. I can only say that I am a cheapskate.

Taking advantage of the good weather in Beijing, my friend and I decided to go to the suburbs to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We went to Qinglongxia Scenic Area by bus. We took the 916 express bus at Dongzhimen and got off at the east entrance of Nanhua Street. We crossed the road and took the 936 bus to the station opposite to go directly to Qinglongxia Scenic Area. ‼ ️Note that the 936 bus runs every 40 minutes. Be sure to pay attention to the departure time. When we came back, we took the 936 bus from the gate and then changed to the 916 express bus. If you go there on weekends, you should come back as soon as possible. The 916 express bus takes the Beijing-Chengde Expressway, and it will be very congested on weekends when returning to Beijing.

There are usually steps on the way up the mountain, but half of the time there are none. The whole journey is not very high, not very tiring, and you can take the cable car when you get down. The cable car is 50 per person, one way. The mountain is still quite high. It's quite scary to take the cable car. But it was so fun to play, the place is quite big, but not as big as I imagined, because my feet didn't hurt that much. I started the return journey around 4:30 in the afternoon.

Several of us girls couldn't help but buy expensive fish food to feed the fish. It was so fun, so those who wanted to go, finally bought fish food at home, which was a lot more cost-effective! First of all, this time we went to Qinglong Gorge mainly to climb the mountain and sweat, so we didn't play some amusement facilities. It was really tiring to climb up the dam at the beginning. There was a platform in the middle for everyone to rest and drink water, and then you can climb the mountain after playing at the dam. One detail is that after climbing up the dam, look down and you will see a rainbow! I heard that if you understand the rainbow, you will meet happiness! I hope it's true! At the beginning, we climbed the steps and it was really tiring and there were quite a lot of people, because the weather was really very good that day, and the autumn was clear and refreshing! When we climbed to the end, it was the wild mountain we were looking forward to very much. It was very ups and downs. It's not an exaggeration to say that in some places, we really climbed up. So if you want to climb Qinglong Gorge, it is recommended to wear a pair of very suitable shoes and bring a hiking stick! I see some older people are leaning on wooden sticks! Water is also very important. Two bottles of water are necessary for the entire climb down Qinglong Gorge. Several of us brought a bottle of water, but it was not enough. Later, we bought another bottle. It is very expensive to buy things on the mountain. Even if you are cheated, you can't say anything, so please be sure to bring it with you! When the company went on a Dragon Boat Festival trip a few years ago, we found a farmhouse near Qinglong Gorge and climbed Qinglong Gorge early the next day. At that time, the imperial capital was free of smog, with clear skies and gentle breezes. The Qinglong Gorge Ancient Great Wall is the Dashuiyu Pass, a frontier fortress of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Many places have become dilapidated due to years of disrepair. However, because of the dilapidation, it is more beautiful than Badaling.

You must go up the mountain early, as there is only one road leading to the Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area. There are two lanes in both directions. There is congestion in the morning when going up the mountain and in the afternoon when going down the mountain. If you go by car, take bus 936 from Dongzhimen directly to the entrance of the scenic area. The ticket is 59 RMB. We climbed up the mountain and then took the cable car down, which cost 40 RMB one way. The slope of the cable car is a bit steep, and it was quite scary to sit on it. We went there during the Qingming Festival, and it was so cold when the wind blew. There is a place for worshiping Buddha next to the dam, which is very high and the steps are steep. There are also bungee jumping, bamboo rafts, speedboats and other entertainment facilities under the dam. It is quite exciting to take a speedboat, which goes back and forth around the lake. The scenery in early spring is still good. It is a good place to relax when the flowers are blooming and everything is revived.

There are hotels and restaurants below the dam. If you stay at the hotel, you can drive your car to the parking lot inside, and the hotel fee includes the entrance fee.

When we went there, there was a thunderstorm, so the cable car and cruise ship were closed and we were unable to climb the mountain.

The ticket price is 54 yuan per ticket, which is a bit expensive considering that almost all items in the park are charged separately.

There are also many restaurants and accommodations in the parking lot at the entrance. There is a 936 bus to Dongzhimen in the city.

The ticket here is a little expensive, but you can bungee jump here, which is super exciting. If you want to die and come back alive, you can try it. The red squat fish in the farmyard is also super good.

Qinglong Gorge has green mountains and clear waters, and the air is fresh. It is a pleasant place to visit. The sun is shining, the water is sparkling, and the Qinglong Dam is spectacular. Looking far away, the Great Wall is like a dragon, winding and undulating on the top of the mountain. Who would have thought that such a quiet world was once a battlefield of war and gunfire? In peacetime, we should remember that peace is hard-won.
