During the Qingming Festival, I booked a ticket for the Beijing International Flower Port Tulip Festival from China-TravelNote. After entering the park, I found that except for some tulips at the South Gate, all other flowers were not in bloom. It seems that I came too early. It would be better if I came after April 20. There are too few flowers. It feels that there are not as many flowers as those in my neighborhood. But anyway, I still took pictures of the flowers, so I give it three stars overall.

It is very big inside, and there are many places to visit on both sides of the main road. However, the area around Huanhua Lake is relatively crowded with tourists. Tulips are my favorite! I went there in May 2016, but it was too late. Many flowers had already withered. It's better to go there on weekends. There aren't too many people. It's suitable for self-driving. There are plenty of parking spaces. After entering the south gate, there is a tourist service center on the right. You can ask them for a park guide map, so that you can know all the attractions in the park. Next to it is a car rental place, which has 4-person bicycles and electric cars. I personally think the price is expensive, ranging from 60 yuan to 100 yuan per hour. You must pay a deposit for renting a car, so you must bring more cash. But this is the case for all attractions, and the price is similar to that of boating in other parks. Flower Harbor is really big. If there are old people and children, it is best to rent a car. It doesn’t matter for young people, and they can take this opportunity to exercise.

Go straight in from the south gate, and you will see Cherry Blossom Avenue. There is a long pool in the middle. You can spray and jump on the pool~ But it is not always open, so you have to catch the right time. It is especially fun when it sprays. Right in front of Cherry Blossom Avenue is Ruiyunping, a large lawn where people can go for fun activities. There is also a stage on the lawn. It is said that there are performances every Saturday, Sunday and holiday morning during the flower show: singing, dancing, magic, clown performances, etc. My favorite is the Peking Opera face-changing, which is really amazing~ But the programs seem to be different every time the flower show, it is recommended to come in the morning, otherwise you will miss it. Further ahead of the lawn is Huanhua Lake. There is a musical fountain in the center of the lake, which is also open at a fixed point. It is very high and very domineering.

The most noteworthy thing is the sea of ​​flowers, which is the most suitable for taking photos. With the windmill behind, it looks good no matter how you take photos. The sea of ​​flowers is really big, and there is a special path for taking photos in the sea of ​​flowers. It looks like you are standing in the sea of ​​flowers, but you don’t trample on the flowers and plants~ These should be considered outdoor exhibitions. Of course, there are also indoor exhibitions. There is a place called Wanhua Pavilion in the guide map, which has a display of various large chrysanthemums and related themes. Friends who like to see flowers and take photos are most suitable to come here.

At the exit parking lot, there is a place called Flower Art Center, where you can buy small potted plants. I originally thought that scenic spots like Flower Harbor would be very expensive, so I thought I would just take a look, but I didn’t expect that they are actually not expensive. The cheapest one is 6 yuan a pot, and there are also 10 yuan to 20 yuan. It is a good choice to buy a pot as a souvenir or as a gift to others.

By the way, you can bring your own lunch. There are many seats for rest in the park, which is very convenient. You can also eat in the restaurant in the park. There are two restaurants right by the lake. The prices are not expensive, about the same as ordinary restaurants.

I really like blooming flowers, large patches of them, which can temporarily relieve your worries and make you happy from the bottom of your heart. This National Day, I chose the Flower Port as a must-visit attraction. Although it sounds like a very vulgar place, the large areas of flowers inside are still just as beautiful. There are purple lavender, horsetail grass, white and red butterfly wings, yellow daisy, and many unknown flowers are quietly blooming there, allowing you to sit among the flowers and daydream, hehe!

Throughout the year, Flower Harbor holds some special exhibitions from time to time, such as the tulip exhibition in spring, the lily exhibition in summer, and the chrysanthemum exhibition in autumn.

I went there during the National Day in 2010 and happened to catch the chrysanthemum exhibition.

The indoor part of Flower Harbor is very small and it only takes a short while to walk around it, but the outdoor part is very large and we walked for more than 4 hours but still couldn't finish it.

It is also inconvenient to eat in the park, so we brought our own lunch.

The main purpose of going to Flower Harbor is to take photos. The tulips of various colors are very good. The ticket price is 80 yuan for adults, and 50 yuan for seniors, students, officers, and disabled people. I bought the electronic ticket online. There is a special channel for checking the electronic ticket at the entrance of the park, which is very convenient. There are local villagers selling tickets near the park. The price is about the same as the electronic ticket, asking for 60 yuan, and you should be able to bargain.

I went there during the tulip festival, but the flowers were almost withering. The park is quite big, but the tickets are quite expensive.

We went there this Friday. They were all there for an autumn outing. There were high school students and elementary school students, organized by the school. There was a large group, a large group. Parking was convenient and the place was large. The scenery outside has not been removed yet, but the sunflowers and other things have almost withered. I guess we can only see the interior soon.
