It's really, really huge. I've visited it twice, the second time for 3 and a half hours, but I still underestimated the size and content inside. I just hurriedly passed by the last Hong Kong and Taiwan film exhibition hall. I feel it would take more than 4 hours to watch it completely and carefully.
Generally, it is divided by era, and then by film subject matter in the contemporary era after the reform and opening up, introducing representative films of each era and genre. Each movie is composed of a plot overview, a few posters, stills, and some are accompanied by some original scripts, props, etc. It takes a lot of time to browse the introductions of so many movies on Douban at once. In addition, there are some peripheral introductions such as the history of film development, production and distribution organizations, and small wax figures of characters.
The large circular screen in the hall is also very impressive.

The China Film Museum is located in the middle of the Beijing Circular Railway Test Field (No. 9, Nanying Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing). When you enter the museum, you will see a huge atrium with several floors of circular corridors on one side, leading to each exhibition hall. The exhibits and pictures here clearly present the development process of China's film industry from scratch to the present. From Tan Xinpei's Dingjunshan opera film to modern wide-screen movies and 3D stereoscopic movies, vivid images stand before your eyes. It is really worth a visit.

The reflections of a primary school student in the food world after shopping

Location: Eastern suburbs of Beijing, very far away, no subway.

Features: Museum of the movie

Pros: I came here a few years ago and it was quite interesting, especially the China Giant Screen inside which was great. The last time I watched it was Need for Speed.

Disadvantages: I saw someone saying that the museum was closed online, but I was not sure, so I went to the official website and found that I could still book tickets, so I felt relieved and booked two tickets. I took a taxi after visiting Guanfu that day, but then it was closed. They said it had been closed since February. If it was closed, why did you book tickets? It was too bad. Then I took a taxi back to the nearest subway station. The round trip taxi fare was 40, which was speechless.

This is a must-visit place for movie fans in Beijing. I took two small cars, took the bus, then the subway, and then the bus. I went to the gate happily to get my ticket, but found that there was no one there. I asked the security guard, who said that they were replacing the equipment and would be closed for the next two years. What the hell? Friends who are planning to come here recently, don't come! It's still quite far and quite remote. Don't make a wasted trip! ! ! ! !

The world's largest national film museum. It's free to visit, but it's far from the city and not very convenient to take a bus. But the museum is very large, with 20 exhibition halls, and you can visit it for half a day. You can also watch movies inside, but you need to buy tickets to watch movies.

The place is a bit remote, and people who change cars in reverse will feel dizzy, but it is worth it

The Film Museum displays the film production process and the development of Chinese films. Tickets are free with your ID card. There are more than a dozen exhibition halls, but most of them are exhibition boards and equipment displays. It would be better if they were more interactive.

The China Film Museum (***), currently the world's largest national film museum, showcases the century-long development of Chinese films. It uses a lot of space to list the many classic films that have influenced the direction of Chinese films over the past century, as well as documentaries, dubbed films, cartoons, children's films, and films from Hong Kong and Taiwan. While browsing, the most common thing I heard was "I've seen this... I haven't seen this..."

By Little Foot Travels |

I went there during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Compared with other attractions in Beijing, it is very quiet here and the staff is very nice. The film museum is divided very detailed, showing the history of Chinese film. There are some common filmmakers, movie stars, directors and awards won by China, as well as some modern technological film shooting techniques. Children are very interested in such practical things. There are many movies on display, many of which I have not seen. I have seen a lot of movies after 2005. If I have time, I still need to replenish myself and recharge myself. By the way, there are also some performances showing movie stunts, which ended before 11 noon. I must control the time well, otherwise I missed it perfectly! There is also a cinema here, and watching movies is very cheap!

By Sumeru |

In general, the functional zoning of the Film Museum is well planned, the sign system is clear, and the film history materials on display are detailed and rigorous. However, the disadvantage is that there are few experiential projects, and the exhibition is mainly based on a single exhibition board. Emerging digital display technologies with strong fun and participation have yet to be introduced.
In the future, we can try to create an immersive tour experience, enrich the display and sale of movie-related souvenirs, and improve catering facilities. At the same time, we can regularly hold a series of movie viewing and salon activities in combination with the latest film and television trends to better play its popular science and entertainment functions.
For movie lovers, it is a great place to roam.

How to get there: Take Metro Line 14 from Beijing South Railway Station to Jiuxianqiao. Exit from Exit C and take Bus No. 973. Get off at Nangao Road and walk straight ahead. Turn right and walk through the tunnel. It is about a 10-minute walk to the destination.
Impression of the exhibition hall: The building is large in scale and has rich collections. It introduces the historical process of Chinese film in detail. Some exhibits can be operated and interacted with. It is very informative and interesting. It is recommended to visit.
Disadvantages: There are few restaurants around the exhibition hall, which makes it inconvenient to eat. There is no free hot water supply facility in the exhibition hall, which makes it inconvenient for visitors to drink water.

Take the bus from 798 for a few stops and it will take about 15 minutes to reach Nangao Village. After getting off the bus, walk across the circular railway and you will see the Film Museum. It is really quite remote here. Not to mention people, there are few cars...
It is very big, with 5 floors. On one side is a museum, and on the other side is a screening room. There are recently released films, and from time to time there are themed film festivals shown in the screening room. The day I went there happened to be a Ge You Film Festival, and the ticket price was only 2 yuan. It was such a conscience price that if you can catch the screening time, you must sit down and watch a show.
The museum displays filming equipment used in the history of Chinese films. Films used to be so large and bulky, but now they can be recorded in the form of images with just a mobile phone. Each floor records the history of films with different themes, including modern Chinese, Hong Kong, Taiwan, animation, science fiction, etc.

It's a good place, but if you are not very interested in movies, I still don't recommend going there. First, it's far away, and if you don't like it, it won't be worth it and it will be a waste of time.
But if you like movies, this is definitely a place worth visiting!

By Muyi Muyang|

The geographical location is relatively remote, and there are still relatively few people going there now. It is still worth going because it is really knowledgeable.

It is worth visiting. There is no entrance fee. You can make an appointment online. If you don't have an appointment, you can also get the ticket on site. There are not many people, and there is no ticket checker, so it doesn't matter whether you get the ticket or not. It is quite big inside. There are four floors upstairs. Each floor has different exhibition halls. It introduces from different periods and ages, and also introduces from different types of children, technology and other aspects, so it is suitable for different groups of people to visit. The fourth floor must be seen. There are various techniques and special effects for making movies. It is very detailed and can be understood by laymen at a glance. I didn't expect that there are so many ways to make movies! The first floor is also a cinema. You can buy tickets to watch movies. If you are a member, it is much cheaper. There are few people and it is very suitable for nearby residents to watch. There are also 2 yuan movies to watch, which can also kill time. There is a small restaurant in the basement. The set meal is 30 yuan, with two meat and two vegetables. It feels average. This price is only in the cinema. You can't eat outside. It feels inappropriate. I don't have much appetite. The transportation is quite convenient, but you must pay attention that many cars are one-way, so if you come by car, you may not be able to take that car back. It's a long way to get to the station, but you can take buses 973 and 851.

There are 20 exhibition halls in the China Film Museum, among which the preface hall and exhibition halls 1 to 10 are film art exhibition halls, located on the second and third floors of the China Film Museum, mainly showing the century-long history of Chinese films and the artistic achievements of film artists. The 10 exhibition halls are "The Invention of Film", "The Birth and Early Development of Chinese Film", "Chinese Film in the Revolutionary War Period", "The Creation and Development of New Chinese Film", "Chinese Film in the New Period of Reform and Opening Up", "Art Film", "Children's Film", "Science Education Film, Dubbing Film, News Documentary Film", "Hong Kong and Macao Film", and "Taiwan Film".
Halls 11-20 are the Film Technology Exhibition Area, located on the fourth floor of the China Film Museum. They consist of 10 exhibition halls: "Film Shooting", "Film Art", "Film Special Photography", "Traditional Film Stunts", "Digital Stunts", "Film Recording", "Film Editing", "Film Printing", "Film Animation", and "Various Films". The Film Technology Exhibition Area mainly displays film production technology and film knowledge, and reveals the secrets of film production.

The location is a little off, so you have to take the bus to the nearby station and then walk. The museum introduces the origin of movies, the development history of domestic, Hong Kong and Taiwan movies, and some equipment and technology for filming and production. It has some popular science meaning. But the fun of browsing is average, and there is nothing to take pictures. I feel that the things on display are still relatively old, and there are not many trendy movie things

By 雨浥轻尘|

It is very close to the East Suburb of the Railway Museum and is free. The cinema inside has good facilities, low prices, and few people. The entire museum can show the history of the development of Chinese film.

By Coco Coffee |

Friendly reminder: You can go directly to the China Film Museum from 798 Art District (take bus No. 402 from Wangyefen Station and go 6 stations to Nangao Station, get off and walk a distance according to the signs). There are relatively few people going there, but the two attractions are in the same area, so it is worth a visit for movie lovers.

The China Film Museum is located in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Take the bus and get off at Nangao Station. It was established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chinese film. There are 20 exhibition halls, including the invention and production of film, the history of Chinese film, and some film shooting techniques, high-end technical equipment, all of which can be found here. No tickets or reservations are required for the visit, and there is also a cinema where you can buy tickets to watch movies. Although there are not many halls, there is an IMAX. It takes two to three hours to finish watching, which is very knowledgeable.

By Big Hero 6_Dabai|

The cinema with great facilities is also at a normal price. It is very close to 798 and has many exhibition halls.

By 聶~小事o0 |

The light and shadow effects are very nice. Large expanses of colored glass and natural light. A must-see for those interested in film and television.

By He Huan|

It's a big venue, and everything about the movie is very detailed. If you like movies, don't miss it. There is also a place to watch movies in the museum, but there are not as many shows as in the cinema. If you want to watch it, you have to arrange your time. The most interesting thing is that it happened to be hailing in Beijing on the day I went there. I saw it started to hail outside when I came out of the last museum. I asked my friend to take a look. As a result, she turned around and saw it and said: Wow, this special effect is really awesome! Hahahaha, I laughed to death.

By raging milk girl |

In fact, the Film Museum is not a popular tourist attraction, or perhaps it is not a tourist attraction at all. Even many people who have lived in Beijing for a long time have never been to this place. When I opened the map, I circled this place without hesitation. Yes, the name made me want to come here!
The China Film Museum is the largest national film museum in the world. It displays information about the history of film, film technology, film equipment, etc. At the same time, you can also watch a real movie here.
What impressed me most was the large piece of pink glass. This design is so beautiful and amazing!

There is no entrance fee. Just make an appointment online and bring your ID card. I went directly from 798 and took bus 973 to Heiqiao South Station. I got off across the road and it was not far away.
When I went there, students were studying and it seemed quite lively. There are 20 pavilions on four floors in total. As time goes by, different themes, different life and emotions are displayed. It's like watching a big movie. I am quite interested in the fourth floor because it is familiar with special effects, editing, recording and animation. If you like art or movies, you can go and have a look. It's a very quiet atmosphere.

The National Film Museum is a very magnificent building, and it is said to be the largest film museum in Asia. It is free to visit, and you can make an appointment online or pick up tickets on site. It is very spacious and impressive inside. There is an elevator from the underground floor to the fourth floor, and there are seats so you don't feel tired. There are 20 exhibition halls in total, which are classified into different categories, and movie lovers can get great satisfaction. There are also many videos and audios here, so your eyes and ears can enjoy the fun of movies.

The China Film Museum is a treasure trove of film knowledge, with detailed introductions from the early development of domestic films to today's contemporary films. There are also many machines used in the development of the film industry.

By Flowers of the Motherland 233 |

It's interesting inside, but the location is very remote, it feels like it's in the suburbs, there are a lot of movies, movie facilities, and the process of recording movies.

By Namusa |

The wonder of light and shadow, the enjoyment of audio and video. ... The film museum is sparsely populated, with good content, and is worth a visit.

By Zhang Ashui|

If you visit Beijing and get tired of antiques, ancient buildings and Chinese-style amusement parks, the China Film Museum will be a new experience. The museum opened on December 29, 2005, the 100th anniversary of Chinese cinema, the most memorable day in the film industry.

The most eye-catching thing in the museum is the IMAX theater. The huge screen of 27 meters wide and 21 meters high, coupled with multi-channel subwoofers, plays the documentary "Yangtze River", which is as impressive as a thousand horses galloping. It is really not to be missed. This high-tech is of course shocking, but my favorite is the "Chinese Film Achievement Exhibition", from "Dingjun Mountain" to "The Warlords", Mr. Ren Qingtai (the producer of Dingjun Mountain) to Run Run Shaw, from Beijing, Shanghai to Hong Kong and Taiwan, the main figures and major events in the development of Chinese films are listed one by one, making people feel that they can't finish watching. Walk around and take a look, it's time to close again! (4:30 PM)

What was surprising was seeing the clip of "March of the Volunteers" in "Children of Storms". It turned out that the heroine was singing it while marching in the army. It was not as tragic as I had imagined. The tune was lively and she even smiled!

There is also a "Film Expo" introducing film production, and "Treasures in the Collection" include Ren Qingtai's printed plates, which are really dazzling.

It was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the film. I like it very much. I have a different feeling every time I come back. The film museum is also a film history museum, but it feels more like old movies, lacking some new-era movies. It is really difficult for some people who simply love movies to watch it. There are few people, the place is large, and the exhibition hall is also designed with characteristics, introducing it according to the chronicle of the film. However, for example, many things in the exhibition hall of movie special effects cannot be moved, just look at them, which cannot highlight the effects of movie special effects. And to be honest, it is indeed far away, but it is very close to 798. It is still recommended, a relatively unpopular place.

By Qingfeng Tuying|

The place is hard to find. I drove around a lot and found it just east of Wuyuan Bridge. It is more convenient to take the bus 402, 418, 688, 973 and get off at Nangao Station. The museum is free and you just need to get a ticket. The building is very distinctive and the functions inside are also very advanced. The exhibitions, demonstrations, themes and movies are great! It is also good to bring children with you. You can have a good time and let your children learn a lot about the history of movies. My impression is that the miniature sculptures are particularly good.

By Mouse Walking the Dog|

It's a great place but it's too far. I took the subway and then the bus and it's still a long walk to the door. But it's worth visiting, especially for those who like movies, don't miss it.

By ZM521521 |

It's a very good place. You can make an appointment online and exchange your ticket with your ID card. There are direct buses and free parking lots, and the transportation is very convenient. The service staff are very friendly. If you are thirsty, you can get some boiled water at the service desk. If you are hungry, you can get a fast food meal on the basement floor for 30 yuan. You can also watch the 2-yuan movie "The Blazing Golden Boy" with dozens of elderly people for 3 hours, as if you were back in your childhood. You can also watch some of the latest movies in different screening rooms. After watching the movie, you can start the tour. There are exhibition halls with different themes on each floor, and you can slowly travel through the light and shadow of a hundred years of Chinese movies...

The world's largest national film museum is a landmark building commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chinese film. It is an art palace that showcases the century-long development of Chinese film, showcases film technology, spreads film culture, and conducts academic exchanges and research. It is closed on Mondays. No reservation is required in advance. You can enter by exchanging a valid ID for a ticket.

Located in Nangao, Chaoyang District, it is a bit remote. You need to transfer many times, and you need to walk a distance after getting off the bus, which is not very convenient. It is recommended to drive there. There is free parking in front of the door with plenty of parking spaces.
The first floor is filled with paintings. Then we get to the point. There are three floors of exhibition halls. Halls 1-4 on the first floor introduce the history of film development, Halls 5-10 on the second floor introduce categories and regions, and Halls 11-20 on the third floor introduce professional aspects of film recording and editing. They are very detailed and include a lot of historical materials and items. In particular, there is a special introduction to cartoons, which is very interesting for both adults and children.

The Beijing Film Museum is located at No. 9 Nancai Road, Chaoyang District. It is slightly out of the way. Movie lovers can get a glimpse of the history of film development and appreciate the charm of technology from here. Unlike Universal Studios in the United States, it is more like a comprehensive textbook. The Film Museum provides movie enthusiasts with more professional viewing hardware: the IMAX (giant screen movie) screening room has introduced the world's first-class movie projection system - 70mm, 15-perforated film, whose photosensitive area is 10 times that of ordinary film, which can accommodate more information and allow the audience to feel a richer visual impact. When Avatar was released, it was the only venue in the country that provided IMAX viewing, which caused quite a rush for tickets. Not far from it is also the China Railway Museum and Caochangdi Art District.

By Traveling|

There are no restaurants near the Film Museum. You can either bring your own lunch or eat at the buffet in the museum for 20 yuan per person. The taste is average and it's enough to fill your stomach. If you want to watch a giant screen movie, it's best to consult in advance. Beijing often has schools renting out the theater. If you catch up, it's a tragedy. I caught up, but I had no choice. It was too far to go there once, and I couldn't come again. I could only watch 3D movies, which was a little regretful.

By kaka盐盐|

It is divided into 20 exhibition halls, which are divided into different exhibition halls according to the development of film history. There are many famous movie stars we know, and those who have made great achievements in the history of Chinese film. Children can also see familiar cartoon partners in cartoons in the cartoon exhibition hall and try how cartoons are formed. There are not only exhibition halls for visiting, but also viewing halls in the museum. The screen seats and other equipment are quite advanced. We watched the premiere of "The Devil's Passion" there. The effect is very good. It seems that the price will be cheaper than ordinary cinemas.
There aren't many people visiting the Film Museum, and it has air conditioning and an elevator, so it's the only place where I can stay longer and sweat less during these few days of visiting. However, it's quite rewarding to see the magic and history of movies.
No tickets are required and there aren't many people. There are not only exhibitions on the development of Chinese films in each period, but also a giant-screen IMAX cinema.

By Xiaobuhu|

Not many people. The museum is quite big. I went to see if there were any movies I wanted to see. I booked tickets online and was sure of that. I saw the ID card at the entrance and it was OK. The tickets didn't seem to be that tight. It's free, so there's no reason not to go.

A concentration camp of film materials, 20 exhibition halls, rich content, and detailed explanations! There are also multiple movie theaters, and the giant screen theater is even more shocking! The giant screen theaters of Wanda and Huaxing are really not on the same level as here!

The first time I went there, I wanted to watch a movie on the big screen, but I went too late and the tickets for the biggest screen were sold out. I will go again next time. The film museum is also very interesting and there are explanations.
