The outdoor venue is open, you can take your children to know the trains and real rails. Some trains allow children to climb up and down to explore. The indoor exhibition hall adult ticket is 20 yuan, children under 1.2 meters are free, and children above half price. There are various train introductions in the exhibition hall. Some train cabs are open for children to enter and explore various instruments. There are small tables and chairs in the aisles between trains for the audience to rest. There is also a place to watch the "Thomas and Friends" cartoon, as well as a train photography exhibition. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the entrance to the indoor exhibition hall is the merchandise department, which sells various train toys. When the children come in, they don’t look at the exhibition first, but just want to pull their parents to buy toys. It is not recommended to open the merchandise department in a conspicuous place at the entrance of the museum. The museum’s outdoor parking lot is large, and it is more convenient to drive there.

Located near Wangjing, it is divided into indoor and outdoor exhibition areas. The ticket inside the museum is 20 yuan, and there is no charge outside the museum. It mainly displays various locomotives and vehicles, as well as very old locomotives. Some locomotives and carriages can be visited. The overall feeling is good and suitable for railway enthusiasts.

It is very close to the 798 Art District. It is recommended to arrange the two places in the morning and afternoon of one day. The location here is relatively remote and the transportation is not very convenient, so it is not as crowded as other places. I personally think it is a good place for couples to date. It should be noted that the use of tripods and other photographic equipment is not allowed in the museum, but it doesn’t matter if no one sees it. If you see it, you will be stopped. The Railway Museum is divided into indoor and outdoor exhibitions. The indoor ticket is 20. The indoor and outdoor exhibitions are all real trains, and the rails are also real. The scene is spectacular. Here you can see the appearance of trains running in different periods and witness the development history of trains. The outdoor simulated entrance and exit, the old and mottled station signs write the vicissitudes of time.

This is a museum with many trains on display, a paradise for railway enthusiasts. The steampunk style is especially suitable for taking photos. The outdoor area is free, and the indoor area is 20 yuan per person. The indoor locomotives are more exquisite, and there are two locomotives for tourists to climb into the cab to watch and operate.

You need to be careful when talking about the "China Railway Museum". It has three halls: Zhengyangmen Hall, Dongjiao Hall and Zhan Tianyou Hall. Each hall has a different location and is far apart, so don't go to the wrong one; Parking lot: Parking is free inside the hall, and no pressure for novices to park; it is recommended to drive there, there are no direct buses and subways around; Tickets: The exhibition hall is divided into 2 parts, and the outdoor part is free; the indoor exhibition hall adult ticket is 20 yuan, and the elderly over 60 years old with ID cards are half price 10 yuan, and you must go indoors; only cash is accepted for ticket purchases and shopping on site, so remember to bring money; Warm reminder: The venue is very large, and babies can bring strollers and scooters; because the rails are outdoors, the indoor part is also a semi-open roof, and there is no air conditioning, so try to avoid playing on hot days, otherwise it will be very hot.

The design is not very thoughtful, just pile up trains there for display. If you are not particularly interested in trains, I don't recommend going there

The Railway Science Museum is a must-see for those who are interested in railways.

By Kuaiji's outstanding achievements |

It was renovated from an old Beijing station and looks very much like a landmark. It has a movie feel and a sense of time travel.

A good place, suitable for taking children to popularize scientific knowledge!

¥20 (no admission fee if you don’t enter the museum, closed on Mondays) If you just want to take photos, it is recommended not to buy a ticket, the scenery in the courtyard is fine.

A good place for parents and children, with many naughty kids.

There are many antique trains inside, all of which have reached the end of their service life and are put on display, with very detailed explanations.

Many families came with their kids and brought their lunch.

There are too many outdoor carriages and railways to see.

When the temperature is suitable, it is a good place to take photos and wedding photos.

The indoor train exhibition hall is filled with a heavy smell of diesel. If you are sensitive to smells, please wear a mask.

It was quite hot inside the museum. I couldn't find any central air-conditioning outlets. It seemed that there was only an awning built on the rails. Bring a fan.

There are free storage boxes and drinking water for sale.

There is no place to eat near the museum, so remember to bring dry food. Bread is preferred. There are tables and chairs for rest.

Three train cabs are open for free, allowing fans to take photos with the iron rods up close. There is basically no need to queue.

The outdoor exhibition area of the museum is the "Era Station" and the "Flag Post". It is the first choice for posing and satisfying your desire to be a flag bearer.

The Railway Museum visit takes about 3 hours.

Absolutely a good place, a railway museum, a history of railway development

The Dongjiao Pavilion mainly exhibits real trains, which should be very popular with children. The entire pavilion is a large garage with a sky bridge in the middle, which simply divides the pavilion into two halves.

By OMG wish me good luck |

When I arrived, it was not open yet. I found a lot to see outside, including various locomotive heads and railroad tracks. So I started taking pictures while the early morning sun was not so strong.

After buying the ticket, I entered and stored my luggage in the original way, putting it in the locker, then locked it and took the key with me. It was original enough. As a train fan, this place is worth visiting. My son, a little train fan, was very excited to see many locomotives.

By that power |

Located in the eastern suburbs, public transportation is not very convenient, but it is worth a visit because it is full of big motorcycles. This is my son's favorite museum when he was a child. I have forgotten how many times I have been there. Here I can get a direct understanding of various models of motorcycles and the years they were used. There are also exhibitions outdoors. If you like literary and artistic styles, this is also a good place to take pictures.

The Railway Museum has two addresses:

The north side of No. 1 Jiuxianqiao North Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing (near the railway ring of the China Academy of Railway Sciences), generally called Dongjiao Pavilion, has a locomotive garage where you can see a variety of locomotives

No. 2, Qianmen Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing (opposite the southeast corner of Zhengyangmen), also known as Zhengyangmen Pavilion, was rebuilt on the site of the former Zhengyangmen East Station of the Beijing-Fengtian Railway. It mainly displays the arduous journey of China's railways over the past 130 years and the brilliant achievements and bright prospects of China's railway construction since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

This time we visited the Dongjiao Pavilion, and I will definitely visit the Zhengyangmen Pavilion if I have the chance.

The ticket price is 20 yuan per adult.

The surrounding transportation is extremely inconvenient. Unless you drive yourself, don't come here.

The China Railway Museum is located in Jiuxianqiao and can be reached by bus No. 973. It is a niche museum with 30 locomotives in the exhibition hall, from the oldest locomotive in my country, which was manufactured in Britain in 1881, to the locomotive produced in 1979. There are more than 10 steam locomotives and narrow-gauge locomotives from Japan, Britain, France, Belgium, the former Soviet Union, the United States and other countries. The entire history of the existence of locomotives is worth seeing. There are not many open-air locomotives, and they are free. The exhibition hall ticket is 20. Families with boys will prefer to visit.

The Railway Museum is next to the Film Museum. The ticket price is 20 yuan. There are many old trains inside, which is really shocking. However, the transportation is not very convenient.

There are many old trains, but there is no systematic concept of trains. There is only an introduction to the train next to the trains on display, which is not detailed. After watching it, I don't even know who invented the train. It is more like a display hall or exhibition hall than a museum.

Regarding trains, there is no explanation of trains from different periods, such as how the oldest trains developed into their current form and the changes in between.

The exhibition hall is actually not very big and there is nothing substantial. There is a civil servant carriage that requires an additional 10 yuan to enter. I did not go in, but friends who are interested can go and take a look.

How to get there: Take Subway Line 14 from Beijing South Railway Station to Jiuxianqiao, exit from Exit C, take Bus No. 973, and get off at Nangao Road. Walk back after getting off the bus, and when you see a rockery at the intersection (the station is only a few dozen meters away from the rockery), turn left and walk about 100 meters. When you see a small intersection, turn left and go straight to see the gate of the Railway Museum.

Tickets: 20 yuan for adults, half price for those over 60 years old, free for those over 65 years old.

Browsing impression: The outdoor exhibition area is large, but there are not many objects. There are no signs in front of the exhibits. It seems simple. The number of locomotives displayed inside the exhibition hall is large and complete. Some trains can be visited in the driver's cab. But there are fewer signs and introductions, just like outside. The special train for national leaders can be visited, but you have to buy a ticket to enter. Each ticket costs 10 yuan, and there are no discount tickets. The special train for national leaders is not very long and has only two carriages.

Another thing is that there are few restaurants near the museum, and there is no free drinking water (boiled water) provided inside. The canteen only sells some snacks, and no regular meals. It is recommended to bring your own videos and drinking water when visiting.

It should be a paradise for train fans. Various locomotives are neatly arranged in the exhibition hall.

By Yoshiki |

There are all kinds of train carriages and locomotives inside. In fact, this kind of museum is quite good, but the management is average. I have been to the railway museum in York, which is similar in type but much better. However, if there are train fans at home, it is worth going. Little boys will like it.

It is divided into the Locomotive and Rolling Stock Exhibition Hall and the Comprehensive Exhibition Hall. The exhibition halls gather and display nearly 100 locomotives and rolling stock of different periods, types and models of China's railways, including steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars, etc. Among them are the earliest existing locomotive in China, the No. 0 steam locomotive, which is the treasure of the museum, as well as meritorious locomotives named after great men, and various types of steam locomotives manufactured in different periods in Britain, the United States, Japan, Russia, Belgium and other countries.
