If you like to see Guanfu Dudu and pet cats, how can you not go to Guanfu Museum? The exhibition hall is not big, but small and exquisite. I especially like the screens and windows. You can walk up to them and read the stories of the patterns on them in detail instead of in the cold glass windows. When I went there, I happened to catch up with a student group and followed the explanations along the way. It was interesting. It was a pity that I didn't catch up with the big party of cats.
After listening to Guanfududu, I was recommended to come here. The food is exquisite and the food is exquisite. There are not many exhibits, but you can see that they are all exquisite. If you want to listen for free, you can wait for the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock lectures.
It is outside the Fifth Ring Road. You need to take a bus to get off at Jiangtai Station on Line 14. It is more convenient to drive. The entrance is quite deserted, but parking is convenient. There are many cats and various cat houses, but it is recommended to watch from a distance and play with them at most. If they get close to people, they are not cats. The museum now has a ticket of 100 yuan. It is divided into the Porcelain Museum, Furniture Museum, Craft Museum, Painting Museum and Door and Window Museum. There are many fine porcelains in good condition, which are not inferior to ordinary provincial museums. The furniture is more outstanding, and the collection is richer and more than that donated by Wang Shixiang to the Shanghai Museum. It is just missing a few important pieces from the palace. The Door and Window Museum is also very eye-catching, and the various story wood carvings are very interesting.
The entrance is two big doors, just like the iron gates of the rural courtyards we have seen, the only difference is that the two characters "Guanfu" in red and black are hung on the door. We arrived here at nearly ten o'clock, and there were not many people at the ticket office. The tickets here are half-price for students, teachers, and cultural and museum personnel. I found out that there are three cute Guanfu cats when I got the tickets. They can be used as bookmarks with ribbons tied on them, which shows that they are thoughtful. The ticket price is expensive among the museums I have seen, because this is a private museum. Although it is a public welfare museum, the operating expenses need to be raised by itself, so it is understandable that it is a bit expensive. There are seven exhibition halls in the Guanfu Museum, and the best ones are the furniture hall and the ceramic hall. The collections in these two aspects are very rich and of high quality. The layout of these two venues is also the most beautiful and meticulous. There are two free explanations of porcelain and calligraphy and painting in the ceramic hall every morning and afternoon. It has always been my favorite. I have seen many high-standard exhibitions before. Compared with those national exhibitions, this one is not inferior at all. The display of exhibits in Guanfuli is still very distinctive. In order to facilitate viewing the bottom style and ring of porcelain, mirrors are placed under some important exhibits, which is very user-friendly. Furniture Museum. Most of the furniture on display here is Ming and Qing furniture, which is made of precious red sandalwood, huanghuali and other woods. Unlike exhibitions in other places, these furniture are not fenced off, but within reach, which not only makes it more detailed, but also makes people feel immersive. I moved my lotus steps lightly and walked up to the second-floor door and window museum with a full body of drama. This is simply the world of doors and windows. I never paid attention to these inconspicuous doors and windows before, thinking that they only exist as accessories of buildings. Today, I took a closer look and found that doors and windows can be so artistic and so exquisite. Look at these exquisite carvings, which are all made by hand with a knife and a chisel. What kind of exquisite soul can make such a wonderful work. Every tiny accessory is exactly the same, whether it is a figure, flower or bird, they are all lifelike, and their exquisiteness and meticulousness are amazing. Due to time constraints, I passed by the Craft Museum without taking a closer look. I just took a general tour and didn't leave any impression. The exit is the visitor center, which has many souvenirs and figurines for sale, as well as vending machines and free tea, which is very user-friendly. Every corner here is filled with cultural flavors, and even the walls of the toilets are decorated with exquisite collections, which makes you feel happy when you go to the toilet.
The exhibits in the museum are rich and colorful, ranging from traditional porcelain, calligraphy and painting, cloisonné enamel, to furniture, and even the eighteen kinds of ancient weapons... It really has everything!
The reflections of a primary school student in the food world after shopping
Location: Zhangwanfen, Dashanzi, eastern suburbs of Beijing
Features: Private museum
Advantages: Small but exquisite museum, detailed explanations, reasonable layout, great visiting experience. If you live nearby, you can come here every day to pet cats for free. Their tickets are well received.
Disadvantages: The ticket price has increased again, free tours are only available on weekends, and tours on weekdays are quite expensive. It would be better if the collections were richer.
The address is written on the gate. It is a relatively remote place. It is recommended to look at where you live, take the bus or subway, and then take a taxi. The ticket price is 100 yuan.
Specialization and elegance are its characteristics, and the Guanfu cat is also a feature of this museum.
Please don't get me wrong, the scenery here is not important, but the museum is for viewing the exhibits.
Guanfu Museum is a must-visit museum in Beijing. It has the only exhibition of ancient furniture, doors and windows in China, collections that are comparable to those of the Forbidden City, red sandalwood, mahogany, and huanghuali furniture that you can get up close and personal with, and you can appreciate all kinds of Song Dynasty official kiln boutiques, as well as celebrity oil paintings and handicrafts. If you have money, you can also buy some gifts for your relatives and friends.
I was attracted to Guanfu when Mr. Ma started broadcasting Dudu that year, and now I am fortunate to be able to travel with Mr. Xi.
Viewing means looking at it over and over again. Only by looking at an object repeatedly can you get its essence. This is the name.
The only ticket you can buy online is the one shown in Figure 2. When you enter the museum, the staff will punch holes and tie ropes for you to use as bookmarks. The museum has a ceramics museum, a furniture museum, a craft museum and an oil painting museum, and the collection is rich and amazing.
In addition, Beijing Guanfu Pavilion has Guanfu cats and Huang Qiangqiang, etc. [snickering] Cat lovers have a surprise [naughty]
There are free tours and special exhibition lectures in the museum during holidays. Although the museum is not as crowded as the National Pavilion when I arrived at 10:00, there is still a constant stream of people coming in and out.

Guanfu Museum is the first private museum in China founded by Ma Weidu. It now has several exhibition halls, including the Ceramic Pipes, Home Furnishings, Doors and Windows, and Oil Paintings. It also has branches in Hangzhou and Xiamen. Although it does not have as many national treasures as the National Museum or provincial museums, and there are no treasures in the museum, the exhibits are arranged harmoniously and vividly, and it is still quite fun to visit. If those big museums are like ladies from a noble family, calm and high-end, then Guanfu Museum is more like a little jade in the museum, lively and exquisite, with its own unique charm.
There are more tourists than I expected, and the tickets seem to be more expensive than before, 75 yuan per person. This year we bought the Jinxiu Jiangshan tour package, which includes the Guanfu Museum, so we don't need to buy tickets.
The origin of the museum's name is written on the wall in the courtyard - the content of Chapter 16 of "Tao Te Ching", "All things are created together, and I watch their return", which means that all things in the world are subject to the cycle of life and death, and I watch them repeatedly here.
The exhibition hall is well designed. The doors and windows from the Ming and Qing dynasties in the Door and Window Museum are embedded in the wall, which reduces the sense of distance as an exhibit and adds some fusion of modern and ancient times. The Home Furnishing Museum does not put each piece of furniture in a glass display case, but displays it like a model room, which is a very good experience.
You can also spend half a day playing in the courtyard. The Guanfu Museum has taken in many stray cats. Each cat has a name and title. There is also a special Guanfu Cat Office and Villa. You can watch the 24-hour live broadcast on the Guanfu Cat’s official account.
It is a well-known private museum in China with detailed exhibition layout. It is close to the airport and can be considered as a stopover on the way to the airport.
The swastika-patterned furniture in Guanfu and Chuxiu Palace is called Wanzi Table, which can be found on Baidu
The paid museum is located in Chaoyang District, and now has a new cat museum. It is not big, but it is very unique.
Mr. Ma has always been my father's idol, so I brought my father here when I came to Beijing. After coming here, I found that it was really worth the trip. Even though I don't know anything about cultural relics, I feel quiet, comfortable and cozy here. There is a rest area, and it takes a certain amount of time to visit, so it is recommended to bring some food with you. I met a few cats. When I came back and looked at the photos, I found that Zhuang Taiji's best skill was camouflage. 😄
Guanfu Museum is a private museum founded by Mr. Ma Weidu and was approved for establishment on October 30, 1996. The museum emphasizes the communication between people and history and highlights the affinity of traditional culture. One of the most affinity is the establishment of a "Guanfu Cat Office" whose members are stray cats received and free kittens are given to cat lovers.
Today I took a nearly 2-hour bus ride to reach the Guanfu Museum. I found out that it was the 20th anniversary of the Guanfu Museum's official opening to the public, and the ticket price was halved. I was really lucky.
The museum has a porcelain hall, a furniture hall, a craft hall, an oil painting hall and a door and window hall, and also has branches in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The most distinctive exhibits are many exquisite Chinese doors and windows and furniture, the degree of meticulous craftsmanship is really amazing!
As a private museum, its collection types, venue size, meticulous management and humanized exhibition layout are all excellent. Mr. Ma is worthy of being a master of literature, history, cultural relics and culture!
Along the way, I didn't see the Guanfu Road sign. I remembered a blog post written by Mr. Ma a few years ago, which was half appeal and half helpless. It talked about how difficult it was to get a road sign through official procedures, but he spent money to "find connections" and let many restaurants around him put up road signs. Mr. Ma is well-informed and well-known, but in the face of interests, knowledge and etiquette are not as good as real money, and face is not as good as money. This time, I looked all the way with a sense of verification, and found that the signs of those restaurants were gone. Is this an acceptable result?
The museum has five exhibition areas, "porcelain", "Ming and Qing furniture", "handicrafts", "doors and windows" and "modern paintings", hidden in an inconspicuous two-story building on the side of an ordinary street. Compared with the magnificent large museums, the space is even a bit small. Putting aside the wonderful exhibits, the experience of visiting a few places is worth mentioning. For the protection of the collection, you cannot take pictures here with a camera, but you can take pictures with your mobile phone, but you must turn off the flash. I still hope that everyone will come to see it for themselves, so I will post a few photos here.
First, let's talk about the porcelain exhibition. Porcelain is divided by kiln and displayed in a centralized manner. The small change greatly enhances its popular science function. The description of porcelain in the WeChat commentary can establish a very standardized knowledge base for entry-level enthusiasts. Ming and Qing furniture exhibition. Here, most of the furniture is displayed in an open way. You can look up and down, front and back, left and right to carefully examine the exhibits you like. There will be no reflection from the glass plate. What you see is the smoothness of the wooden furniture with a strong sense of history under careful maintenance. The furniture is restored to its real appearance as much as possible. The immersive experience is really the most popular way of presentation today. From IKEA to VR, the immersive feeling is the most real and vivid.
【Guanfu Museum】Private collection of Ma Weidu. Derived from Laozi's Tao Te Ching: reaching the extreme of emptiness, dwelling in deep meditation; all things in the universe interact and grow, and we can observe their root sources.
This is Mr. Ma’s first museum. It was not easy to plan and build, and the structure was limited at the time. It may not look grand now, but we have to consider the time of its construction and his personal financial resources. There are really a lot of treasures inside, and they are not vulgar. Mr. Ma does not like jewelry, so most of the exhibits are Ming and Qing furniture and porcelain, but each exhibit has a strong historical introduction, and the service staff are also very willing to answer questions for visiting guests. It is really a perfect trip.
Guanfu Museum is located at No. 18, Jinnan Road, Zhangwanfen, Dashanzi, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was founded by Mr. Ma Weidu and is the first private museum after the founding of New China. There are many unique collections that are worth visiting. The online ticket price is 40 yuan.
We went to Guanfu Museum. It took less than an hour to get there from the subway to the bus. This place is far from the airport. But it is still worth a visit. The ticket turns into a bookmark after the ticket check. The exhibits are distributed by category and the content is rich. It is also very informative to follow the tourists who come to visit and listen to the staff's explanations. The museum will close early on Monday, so the two-hour visit is a bit tight. If it weren't for the National Museum closing on Monday, I would have come back on Tuesday, and it should be about three hours.
Ma Weidu's private museum is not as grand as the national museum, but it is small and exquisite. It is also very user-friendly. For example, the ticket can be made into a bookmark, and there is a rest area where everyone can drink water. It is very considerate. It is a museum worth visiting and highly recommended.
The ticket is 20 yuan. Photography is not allowed inside, so I took a few photos in the courtyard. The exhibition includes porcelain, furniture, calligraphy and painting, and some contemporary art. I would like to ask someone to explain how Ma Weidu values and appreciates these objects. The museum is temperature-controlled and humidity-controlled, with layers of insurance.
The Guanfu Museum is located in a remote area. It took me nearly 3 hours to find it by subway and bus. However, the collections inside are really exquisite and definitely worth seeing. It's a pity that you can't take pictures. I saw my favorite Song Dynasty porcelain in the Ceramics Museum. The glaze is warm and elegant. I saw all kinds of varieties I saw in books. And I also saw the world-renowned Ming Dynasty furniture in the Furniture Museum, especially the whole set of Huanghuali furniture. The natural beauty is really intoxicating!
Ma Ye's Guanfu Dudu has been suspended. I have been wanting to go there for so many years. It happened that I had a holiday, so I suddenly decided to go and see Guanfu and Ma Ye. Guanfu has a limited area, but ancient furniture and porcelain are all good things. They should be carefully selected exhibits. After all, Ma Ye's collection is not limited to these. Almost half of the exhibits have been seen in various programs. This time I went there like to witness them. The bottom of the exhibits in the Porcelain Museum basically has mirrors, not perfunctory. Ma Ye must want all visitors to observe the characteristics of porcelain from all angles as much as possible. I listened to Ma Ye's lecture the day before, and I thought that the person in front of me was a person who had a net worth of hundreds of millions and donated it all. All Guanfu cats are not afraid of people and are very docile. Huang Qiangqiang is probably old and went there for recuperation, so I didn't see him. Guanfu provides free drinking water and tea, and a lounge, which is particularly good. It would be best if there were simple meals, so you can really stay for a whole day. The service staff in the museum felt quite kind.
The highlight of today is the Guanfu Museum, a highly recommended spot.
The first time I knew Mr. Ma Weidu, I remember it was when I watched Lecture Room 10 years ago, although I didn't finish it later. But from Mr. Ma Weidu's class, I learned that ancient Chinese furniture, ceramics, doors and windows were all collected, and I admired them very much. In fact, to understand collection, you really need to understand Chinese history and the characteristics of each dynasty. Although the ticket here is 100, it is definitely worth coming to savor it carefully. There will be a professional guide at 10 o'clock, which lasts for more than an hour. It is simply an introductory collection course, which is absolutely worth the ticket price. It is 88 yuan if you buy it on DP one day in advance. After viewing the antique collection, you can also come to the door to play with cats. Seeing red sandalwood and huanghuali is really eye-opening! At least I learned to see what the face of huanghuali is. After watching Mr. Ma's ceramic exhibition, I also have a general understanding of the history of Chinese ceramics. I decided to watch Lecture Room 100 again when I went back - Ma Weidu talks about collection. But I have been looking for a long time and there is no video... If anyone sees it, please recommend it!
