Although there is wind, the wind in the valley is somewhat warm, not as dry as the wind in the city, and it is very comfortable. It's just that the mountains are much colder than outside. There is very little snow outside, but there is still a thick layer of snow in the mountains. If you take a few photos, your hands will be frozen into red pig trotters. 🐷 Compared to summer, it is also a very beautiful summer resort. In the end, my hands were so cold that I couldn't press the keyboard of my mobile phone. I relied on hand warmers to survive😂

But in fact, the icefall is man-made. I heard from the scenic area manager that it was caused by heavy water for more than a month. Well, although it is man-made, the shape of the ice ridges formed by the flowing water is still very beautiful and natural. Standing under the huge icefall, it is still a bit shocking. As the weather warms up, there will be loose ice ridges falling from high places from time to time. There will be cordons near the icefall to prevent tourists from getting too close, so as to avoid being poked into a sieve by the falling ice cones. 😂

The scenic area held a Wind Chime Festival. All kinds of wind chimes swayed in the wind all over the mountains. Immersed in the crisp sounds of wind chimes and gurgling water, worries were forgotten bit by bit.

During the Wind Chime Festival, the entire scenic area is only open to Tongtian Waterfall, which is actually only 1/3 of the entire scenic area. But the water is blue when you look through the ice, so when the ice melts in spring and summer, Heilongtan will definitely be very beautiful. One downside is that the toilets on the road in the entire scenic area are not open in winter, so if you want to go to the toilet, you can only go to the parking lot outside the gate of the scenic area, and the flushing and washing basins are frozen and can't be opened, which is a bit frustrating. And although there are some shops and small pavilions along the way, there are no shops, so the scenic area looks a bit run-down, maybe because it's too cold now, maybe it will be much better in summer. Anyway, it's still worth a visit, and it's better to pull weeds early!

I went there during the Spring Festival. Although I arrived at 9:30 in the morning, there were still many people. There are two parking lots with plenty of parking spaces. You can park anywhere for 10 yuan.

It is recommended to go to the innermost part after entering to see the biggest waterfall. We took photos for a long time on the way, and there were more people as we went further in. We couldn't choose a good place to take photos.

But the scenery is really beautiful. It is rare to see such spectacular blue ice and tree hangings in Beijing. It is worth going. The park is not very big; you don’t need to climb a high mountain. You can take pictures while walking. It can be done in two hours.

I came out around 11 o'clock. There were a lot of people at that time. So I suggest you go early. It is also very cheap to book tickets online. Remember to book two hours in advance, otherwise the system will not be able to refresh it.

On the third and fourth days of the Chinese New Year, my husband and I took a two-day self-driving trip from Tianjin to Beijing. Many of the ground in the scenic area (especially the places where it is good to take pictures) is icy and slippery, so it is more convenient to wear shoes with non-slip soles. But you can still see people slipping, so it is not recommended for the elderly to go.

5. If you want to look good in photos, you should wear brightly colored clothes. You can see the effect of my black down jacket and colorful down jacket in the photos. It is also OK to wear a dark-colored jacket with bright-colored accessories, such as a red scarf, etc. You can wear it inside a large jacket and take it off when taking photos.

6. Keep warm! Keep warm! Keep warm! I have to say it three times. It was about minus ten degrees when we went there. It was very cold especially on the shady side when there was no sun. We all wore two down jackets at the time, a thin down jacket inside a big down jacket. Wear gloves and a hat. It is best if the gloves can be used with a touch screen, otherwise it is very troublesome to take off the gloves when taking pictures.

7. Many icefalls with good photogenic shapes are very slippery when you climb them. Be careful. Many people will slip and fall. At this time, the advantage of wearing thick clothes is prominent. It won't hurt too much if you fall. You can look at the path others took to climb up, where they stepped and where they grabbed. Following the original path will save a lot of time for you to climb up by yourself.

8. You can bring your pets. I saw many people bringing their dogs. The dogs were very happy. However, the ground is slippery and there are some uphill stone roads. Puppies with short legs cannot go up by themselves. You must carry them and walk = =.

Yesterday afternoon, I went to Heilongtan with my classmates. The Heilongtan in Miyun is not far from the scenic spot. I got the ticket at the entrance of the scenic spot and went in. I took a lot of photos of ice flowers in Duijiuyu Scenic Area yesterday. I didn't expect to see an icefall in Heilongtan today. Of course, this icefall is man-made. You can see a water pipe constantly pouring water on the mountain. At the current temperature, it will definitely freeze.

I took a lot of photos at the first icefall. In fact, if you go further in, there will be artificial icefalls like this one to add to the scenery. I thought: Although the ticket is expensive and tourists rarely come, my ticket fee is not enough to cover this little water, right? Haha.

There are many pools and waterfalls in the Heilongtan Scenic Area. The easiest ones to remember are "Tou Tan", "Tongtian Waterfall" and "Zhen Tan". In this season, even if there is water in the waterfall, it has turned into an ice waterfall. Among these large and small ice waterfalls, only "Tongtian Waterfall" is still relatively majestic.

Charming Cave: It is a natural cave formed by geological changes, and then handrails and steps are installed inside for visitors to climb up.

The most amazing thing is the exit of the charming cave - there is a bright light in the darkness. Upon closer inspection, it is an exit, but it is not big and can only accommodate one person.

The last pond in the Heilongtan Scenic Area is the Zhentan.

After passing the "Zhentan", continue to go up 200 meters to the "Heilong Temple". The staff at the ticket office said: When you reach the Heilong Temple, you have reached the end and can only return the same way.
