After the Qingming Festival this year, the mountain is still a little bald, and the flowers have not bloomed, but the temperature is very suitable. Shilinxia is for mountain climbing. It takes 1.5 hours to reach the top of the mountain. You can choose to take a cable car. It takes more than 2 hours to get to the city. The road close to the scenic area is heavily congested and it takes 15 minutes to enter. There are farmhouses outside and inside the scenic area, where you can stay and eat. Overall, I feel that there are fewer scenery to see.

It took 2 hours to climb to the top of the mountain. The glass viewing platform at the end was very exciting.

By qidelai |

It's still a relatively small scenic spot. There are two roads, one is longer and the other is steeper. There are not many good-looking scenery. Compared with Panshan, it is much smaller. Don't have too high expectations. It's okay for a little exercise. Give it three stars.

A place to relax and unwind. The scenery is a variety of strange rocks. It takes at least two hours to walk up the mountain. The round trip with a car and the glass viewing platform costs 240 yuan. Because I didn't have time, I felt it was not worth it to just walk up, so I didn't go up, but walked around the bottom of the mountain.

The hiking route is relatively complete and the journey is not too tiring. It can be completed within 2 hours. The most attractive thing is the glass viewing platform on the top of the mountain. Most people should go there for this. It is recommended to buy a combined ticket online first, which is more cost-effective. We bought a separate viewing platform ticket for 40 yuan. After going up, the security guards on duty kept urging people to take pictures and leave. They stayed on the glass surface for no more than 5 minutes, which made me lose all my favor for this attraction. In addition, the entire viewing platform is still hung with faded Chinese knots. I hope the operation and maintenance personnel can pay more attention and improve their aesthetics.

Tickets are 78. Elderly and children are half price. It feels a bit expensive.

The terrain is quite steep, and it is said that it takes more than two hours to climb. We took the cable car up, which cost 100 yuan per person, and there was no discount for children. After taking the cable car, you still have to climb a short flight of stairs. Some places are so steep that you have to hold the railing to dare to climb.

The glass plank road needs to be charged separately, and there is no discount for the elderly and children, 40 per person. In general, it is OK, the scenery is good, standing at the highest point, you can see the mountains and the reservoir in the distance, which is magnificent.

There were too few signs for going down the mountain, so we went the wrong way. We walked to the cable car and planned to walk down, but there was no road after the cable car, so we climbed up and went down again. This is too bad. We walked a lot of unnecessary roads. Wouldn't it be better to give a sign?

It is said that going up a mountain is easier than going down, and it is absolutely true. It has been two days since I came back, and my calves are still very painful from being stretched. I cannot bend them, and it is a bit difficult for me to walk.

Including the elderly and a child, there were four of us in total. We took the cable car to go up the mountain and walked down the mountain. Plus the 200 yuan for meals, not counting the gas and parking fees, it cost a total of 1,000 yuan to climb the mountain. It felt a bit not worth it.

The 78 yuan ticket is not worth it. This cliff, which is less than a few hundred feet, calls itself the Ten Thousand Feet Cliff. There is also a glass plank road on it for 30 yuan.

Before reaching Shilin Gorge, I saw Shilin Lake first. It was three stops long to the entrance of the scenic spot. UFOs are also record-breaking in the world, and it is worth a visit. The 40-yuan circular glass plank road is suspended in the canyon. Amazing and spectacular. After I climbed the Wisdom Valley, I heard the instructor on the roadside say that the route halfway up the mountain is a circular circle, so I decided not to go back when I went up the mountain. It was not steep anymore and a little far. Here is a reminder for the children. The stone forest was dumbfounded when I saw you, and sent you cliff cypress dotted in the stone forest. When you are in the scenery, you look back and turn around. The scenery is different in different seasons. A line of words floated in the sky: Natural beauty

By Miss Mahua loves traveling |

I just went today and signed up for a one-day tour. It takes two and a half hours to drive from Tianjin without traffic jams, and three hours with traffic jams. The only thing that attracted me was the UFO viewing platform. In fact, it's just so-so. The others are all man-made landscapes. But the back mountain feels good and should be very cool in summer. If you are not old, young, sick or disabled, you really don't need to take the cable car. It takes 80 minutes to climb up, and you can only spend ten minutes at the viewing platform at most, and you will feel that it is not interesting. It takes about an hour and a half to go down the mountain, so three hours of going up and down plus playing is enough. Don't think it's difficult to climb when you see the stairs. In fact, it's really not that difficult. In this season, it is enough to bring two bottles of water up and down. Bring a fruit and a hamburger for lunch. Don't carry a lot of things to climb the mountain. You will be very tired if you climb the mountain with weights, and it will be difficult to climb naturally. It is still recommended to climb up the front mountain and down the back mountain, but in the end you will go out at a gate. Men should not bring lighters or they will be confiscated by security check. Smoking is prohibited throughout the journey. Forest fire prevention.

In Pinggu District, I only know about this place because of the newly opened circular glass plank road on May Day. The parking lot of the scenic area is not big. There is a newly built one 300 meters away, which is particularly large. The ticket for the scenic area is 78 yuan, and the student ticket is 39 yuan. You can also buy tickets on some travel websites, which are about 10 yuan cheaper. There are also packages with cable cars on the website, but there are no discounts for cable cars, so it is recommended to buy only a ticket and go in depending on the situation. There are two cable cars in the scenic area. You can take the Ruyiyuan cable car not far from the entrance, but you can't reach the top of the mountain. You have to walk a distance. There are so many people that they often stand on the steps and don't move. The other Longwangshan cable car needs to walk a long distance from another road, and then take the cable car directly to the top of the mountain. The ticket for the cable car is 50 yuan on weekdays and 100 yuan on weekends, and it is one-way, which is very expensive. After getting off the cable car and walking to the top of the mountain, you will see the newly opened circular glass plank road. It is now in trial operation. Just buy a 10 yuan shoe cover to exchange for the ticket. It is said that the price will increase after normal operation, which seems to be 50 yuan.

The group ticket prices stated on the Internet are inaccurate:

"Tickets are 78 yuan per person. If the group is more than 30 people, each person will get a 5 yuan discount (excluding the elderly and children)"

In fact, a group of 40 people can buy a group ticket, and the ticket price is 65 yuan per person. However, there is no discount for the cable car ticket and the glass observation deck ticket.

There are two cableways in the Shilinxia Scenic Area. Tourists who have never been there will be confused when reading the guide. They usually climb the mountain along the steps on the right side as soon as they enter the scenic area.

The stairs?!

If you climb the stairs on the right side of the scenic area, you will find a cableway halfway up the mountain. Even if you are ready to take the cable car (100 yuan one way), you still cannot reach the glass viewing platform after getting off the cable car. You still need to walk a distance, so this route is not suitable for the elderly and people with poor physical strength.

After entering the scenic area, we did not turn right and climb the stairs, but kept going forward. There are many views on this road and the slope is gentle.

We walked straight ahead from the entrance of the scenic area. Since the slope was not steep and the flowers were blooming, and everyone was chatting and posing for photos, we didn't feel tired on the way. We passed many pools of water that were very clear. We went down to touch them and they were cold and prickly. I guess they can be drunk directly? If it is summer, this must be a good place to escape the heat and play in the water.

This "Jiutian Waterfall" is not as majestic and shocking as imagined, maybe because of the water volume. But after all, it is a major attraction in the Shilinxia Scenic Area, so let's take a photo to commemorate it.

While touring along the way, you can see the "glass observation deck" on the top of the mountain by looking up. Manager Cao told everyone that there is a cable car not far ahead, which can go directly to the bottom of the glass observation deck.

Everyone was excited after hearing the news and sped up to experience it earlier. However, before reaching the cable car station, there was another challenge that could not be avoided:

"Ladder to Heaven"

This ladder is built very neatly and regularly. Although it has handrails and is not dangerous, it is too steep and requires a lot of effort. There are many elderly people over 70 in the team, and this section of stairs is really a challenge!

After climbing this long "ladder to heaven", the cable car station leading to the glass observation deck is not far away. However, in the middle, you will pass by a "slimming archway", which is quite creative.

There are two cableways in the Shilinxia Scenic Area.

We entered the scenic area and walked straight along the scenic route. There were mountains, water and streams, and the slope was not steep. After walking for about an hour, we arrived at the "Longwang Mountain" cableway. From here, we can take the cableway directly to the "Glass Observation Deck".

The glass plank road does not pose any challenge to me. I just came up to see what this "UFO glass observation deck" looks like.

It took a long walk down to the end of another "Ruyi Garden Cableway". This means that if you enter the scenic area, turn right and climb the stairs up the mountain, then take the Ruyi Garden cable car to the end. After getting off the cable car, you still need to climb a long flight of stairs.

It is said that going up a mountain is easier than going down, but when you actually start climbing, it is much faster to go down, probably in less than an hour.

The mountain is closed in winter and is no longer open to the public! It's a rip-off. I drove more than 200 kilometers back and forth yesterday. There was a guy lying at the door playing with his phone. He said in a very bad attitude, "Look at the cards!"

Shilinxia is an old scenic spot in Pinggu. The newly built glass plank road in the past two years has attracted more tourists. The scenery is still good when the weather is warm, and it is also nice to take pictures. However, the price of the cable car is very uneconomical. When there are many tourists on weekends, the road down the mountain will be very congested. It is also suitable for self-driving. The water in the farmhouse near the scenic spot is a bit deep, and you need to pay attention to the price when eating.

The rugged rocks and beautiful natural scenery give people a fresh feeling

By Mufengmufengmitang |

The stone forest here is high and steep, with each piece standing upright. There are huge rocks and strange stones scattered throughout the valley. The whole canyon is lush with trees, and the strange pines and cypresses are verdant and tall. The long canyon is quiet and beautiful, and nine waterfalls and eighteen pools are dotted in it, like a vivid natural painting, with the magnificent momentum of the north and the beauty of the south of the Yangtze River. There are two stone forests in Shilin Gorge, east and west, which are breathtaking. From a distance, they are magnificent, and from a close distance, they are of different shapes and colors. Some are like giant pens towering into the sky, some are like jade bamboo shoots piercing the sky, some are like spears and halberds, some are like lions going to war, and some are like the graceful jade girl, the monkey exploring the moon, the dragon coiling on the jade pillar, and the old elephant coming out of the mountain. They are magnificent and beautiful.

It's worth going! Although it was the Dragon Boat Festival when we went, it was rainy and cool! The children had a lot of fun on the Ma Island in Jinhai Lake! In addition, Shilinxia Landscape Farmhouse is very good. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic and helped us buy group tickets at a much cheaper price! Sincerely recommend!

Depart from Beijing North Fifth Ring Road at 6 o'clock, Metro Line 15-(Fengbo Subway Station)-Route 918 (Century Square Station)-Route 25 (Shilinxia Station). There are many buses on holidays, so it's easy to wait. However, there are many people standing on Route 918 in the morning. It's already past 10 o'clock when we arrived at Jingdong Shilinxia Scenic Area... The 4A scenic area costs 78 yuan, which I personally think is OK. It is recommended to take a longer road when going up the mountain. In the early stage, you basically walk along a stream, which is shaded by green trees, cool and not exposed to the sun. The main attractions are on this road. It's very tiring to climb the mountain in the later stage. The road to the glass viewing platform is still quite difficult to climb, and then take the shortcut and go down the mountain. The distance is 5 kilometers, which is a mountain road. The scenic area mainly looks at the stream water in the canyon (the water volume is indeed not large in June), the waterfall basically has little water, and the mountains on both sides of the canyon are very beautiful. You can see the glass observation deck at the top, which costs 40 yuan per person. Since you have already climbed the mountain, you don't mind the extra 40 yuan. However, the glass is a little grainy, so it is not very clear to see below... Overall, there are mountains, water and trees, and it is worth a visit to see the distant view from a high place.

After taking the cable car and climbing to the top of the mountain, there is still some distance to go. Many ladies can't climb up at all. Although I am a man, I also have a child with me, so I have to climb. The scenic area does not control the flow of people, resulting in the cable car queue for me to go down the mountain at around 3:00 in the afternoon being more than 100 meters away... That cable car is absolutely a rip-off, the operating speed and density are too low. We took the cable car at cable car position No. 2, and the scenic area did not control the flow of people, resulting in too many tourists waiting for the cable car. The cable car ticket is 100 yuan and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Many people couldn't wait and sold it to people around them at half price and returned the same way. We waited for nearly four hours and it was not our turn. Later we found out that there was a VIP channel with double the price, so we could go up directly without waiting. When we got off the mountain from cable car position No. 1, the queue was narrower than No. 2, and people were squeezed like sardines and couldn't move. I also brought Children, you should decisively cut in line and pay extra to buy VIP tickets to go down the mountain. It's okay to pay more. In addition, there is no food for sale on the top of the mountain, only mineral water. Many tourists who climbed to the top of the mountain have to queue up. They are already hungry and complaining. The main tickets can be purchased online and it is very convenient to pick up the tickets. Individual tourists can pay by mobile phone. Children under 1.2 meters are free of charge. The No. 2 cable car cannot be paid by mobile phone because of the poor signal in the mountains. When you reach the sightseeing platform at the top of the mountain, children are not free of charge and the ticket is 40 yuan per person, the same as adults. The mobile phone signal at the top of the mountain is very good, but the ticket office does not support mobile payment. There are three of us in our group. When we walked down from the top of the mountain, we had only 30 yuan left in our pockets. Fortunately, the ticket office for the No. 1 cable car down the mountain supports WeChat payment, otherwise we would not be able to go down the mountain. Each person must carry no less than 600 yuan in RMB. The parking lot staff was very enthusiastic. The parking instructions and parking locations were very good. The only problem was that there was no ATM nearby. I would like to thank Lao Hao Farmhouse Cuisine opposite the gate. When I paid with my mobile phone, I asked the boss if there was any ATM nearby. The boss replied that there was no ATM and asked me how much cash I needed. Finally, he transferred 200 cash to me through Alipay. I am very grateful!

I feel like the only thing to see is this glass platform...

On April 14, 2017, I visited Shilin Gorge. It was faster to go up the mountain from the main gate cable car. From the glass viewing platform on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the small reservoir at the foot of the mountain. It is blue and blue. It is rare to see such clean water in Beijing. Unfortunately, there was still some haze at that time, and the other scenery on the top of the mountain was average. When going down the mountain, I deliberately took a longer route-the waterfall route, and the scenery was much more beautiful! If you have enough time, it is recommended that everyone take the waterfall route. You can take the cable car up the mountain and go down the waterfall route, or you can take the cable car up the mountain after walking through the waterfall, and then take the cable car directly to the foot of the mountain. Note that there are two cable cars, starting at the waterfall and the classic gate respectively!

The environment in the scenic area is very good for a trip organized by the company. It takes a lot of courage to climb to the glass observation deck on the top of the mountain, haha.

By Lever |

It's really boring. I was driven away on the glass platform and quickly slid down.

If you don't want to walk on the glass plank road, it is not recommended.

A view in Pinggu, the glass plank road attracts attention, there are many people queuing, it is OK to avoid going on weekends

By Tony |

The scenic area is divided into a straight line, a short line and a long line. The straight line is full of steps, and most sections have no guardrails. The short line is suitable, and the long line is long. The scenic spots are named after the names, such as Yixiantian Diaowo Feitian Waterfall. Seeing the real scene, I want to beat myself to death, not enough to toss along the way.

It is recommended for the elderly and children to take the cable car. There are now cable cars that can basically reach the observation deck. Be careful not to take the cable car halfway up the mountain. It will take nearly 40 minutes to climb to this location, and the steps are steep and high, which is not only tiring but also dangerous.

The observation deck is not worthy of its name, because there is really no scenery worth seeing around it. Rather than climbing up to see the distant view, it is more appropriate to say that it is for the purpose of directly seeing the observation deck. You need to buy a ticket for the observation deck, 20 yuan per person. If there are many people, you need to queue up, and if there are many people, it takes a long time to queue up. If there are a lot of people, even in the observation deck, the management will urge them. Excluding the time for taking pictures, it only takes 2 minutes to fully view the observation deck.

There is nothing special except the viewing platform. The management of the park is not standardized.

The ticket is 70 yuan, the cable car one-way is 100 yuan, the empty cable car in the middle is 50 yuan, and the observation deck ticket (shoe covers) is 20 yuan.

Remember to bring more water. The mineral water at the observation deck is 10 yuan per bottle.

Thanks to a friend who gave me a ticket when I arrived at the platform.

The scenery is nice! It's worth coming! The e-ticket bought on Ctrip is cheap! You can bring your dog, just tie it up! Although school has already started, there are still many people going there. Because I couldn't take the cable car with my dog, I couldn't go to the glass observation deck. I climbed for more than three hours, and the dog was very strong! Leading the way in front of me the whole time~

By littleqier |

The scenery is pretty good, the ticket is 78, the glass plank road is 20, there are several cable cars, the price on Saturdays and Sundays is twice the usual price, there are many steps, three days after returning, my legs are still very sore. If you want to go to the glass plank road, no matter which side of the cable car you take, you have to climb a long section of stairs, but the Dragon King cable car is better, there are more steps under the shade of trees, not particularly cold, Ruyiyuan is in the sun and has more steps. Mineral water at the top of the mountain is 10 yuan.

There is nothing special except the glass plank road. If you just want to experience the glass plank road, then it is good to go and see it. It is all mountain roads, but not very steep. There is nothing special about it overall. We went there as a group of eight classmates, so it was OK. And the transportation is not that convenient, so it is not recommended to go there alone. At the same time, this attraction has only mountains but no water, which is quite embarrassing. Although it is a good place to escape the summer heat, I couldn't find any water to play in. Overall, it can only be said to be an ordinary attraction.

By Just scholars |

Before the glass viewing platform was built, there were not many people here and the scenic area was not big, but it was still quite fun, with deep valleys, dense forests, waterfalls and cliffs...; After the glass viewing platform was built, it will become more and more popular, so if you want to go, you'd better go quickly, as the price is low and there are fewer restrictions!

It is suitable for weekend trips to change your mood. One day of play. Morning bells and evening drums, smoke from cooking. Except for the UFO at the highest point, it is suitable to develop some unique small landscapes in the mountains.

By 💋Little sand fox🐳🐳🐳 |

It is said that this is the largest observation deck in the world. I met a few friends on the weekend to see the true face of the glass observation deck.

First of all, let me introduce that the observation deck is located at the highest peak of Shilinxia, with an area of about 400 square meters! It is very shocking to be there. The main structure is made of titanium alloy.

Route: We drove along the Beijing-Pinggu Expressway (about 40 minutes), exited Misan Road and turned left to Miyun, Xinping Ji Road, Huhei Road to Huguan Road, and finally arrived at the scenic spot (we arrived when we saw an amusement park)

Price: 69 yuan for group purchase (group purchase tickets are checked at the No. 3 window of the Visitor Center), 10 yuan/person for individual ticket sales on the glass platform, one-way cable car: 100 yuan/person on weekends (50 yuan/person on weekdays), round trip 200 yuan/person (100 yuan/person on weekdays) Parking lot: 5 yuan/car (unlimited time)

Travel route: Not far after entering the door, there is a staircase on the right hand side going up (walk along the pine slope - Guanhu Pavilion - China's First Drum - Ancient and Modern First Bell). This is the closest walking route to the glass observation deck. It is quite steep, with many steps and the scenery is average!

Or you don't take the stairs on the right, but go straight and you can see the entrance of the cable car (this cable car is the Ruyi Cable Car, which cannot go directly to the observation deck, but can only go to the halfway point of the mountain, which is about 2/3 of the whole journey. The rest of the way is still very steep and you need to walk up). If you don't take the cable car, you can continue to go straight (go through Xiagushi - Luohan Cave - Tongtian Ladder - Lingzhi Pavilion - Shenfo Ear - Guanhu Pavilion). This road has good scenery and many pools of water. The first half of the road is relatively flat (Tongtian Ladder has a total of 218 sections and is very steep, so it is quite strenuous. There is a small shop after you come up, where mineral water is 10 yuan/bottle and Red Bull is 20 yuan/can). After passing the Tongtian Ladder, there is another cable car. The Longwangshan Cable Car, also known as the Shilinshan Cable Car, can directly reach the First Gong of the North Country, which is very close to the glass observation deck. If friends who go up the mountain choose the cable car, I personally think this route is more suitable!

Here is a special note: there is no cable car in Shilinxia that goes straight from the bottom to the glass viewing platform. You can either walk first and then take the cable car, or take the cable car first and then walk. The price of the two cable cars is the same! Each cable car can only carry 2 people

The glass viewing platform requires a separate ticket of 10 yuan per person. It is recommended that one person buys a ticket and queues up alone, because there are many people buying tickets on weekends! (Mineral water can be bought at the ticket office for 5 yuan per bottle) The flow of people entering the viewing platform is limited to 200 people each time. There is a plastic bucket after entering. You can take shoe covers by yourself. The shoe covers are not disposable and need to be returned to the bucket after coming down from the viewing platform

Tips: Because the stairs in Shilin Gorge are very steep, it is dizzy to walk down. It is recommended that friends choose to climb up and take the cable car down. Especially on weekends, there are many people, and many roads are mixed up and down, which is very unsafe. It takes about 3 hours to climb from bottom to top (long-distance route)

Finally, let's talk about the surrounding accommodation. The conditions of the farmhouses are generally average. The hardware facilities are very poor, the rooms are very small, and the room rate is about 150 yuan per room on weekends. For meals, the lamb legs here are relatively good, about 180 yuan, and the roasted whole lamb ranges from 880 yuan to 1,200 yuan.

If you have time, I really don't recommend coming here on weekends. There are too many people and it's not safe to go up and down the mountain.

By 劉某某 |

The glass viewing platform is very popular now, it is worth a visit. There is also the Huangsongyu Reservoir next to it, where you can also play.

By Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon |

Jingdong Shilinxia is located in Pinggu, next to Jinhai Lake. It is recommended to go up the mountain from the Longwangshan cableway. The road is relatively slow. There is only a steep wooden staircase when you are sitting on the aisle. After getting off the cableway, go to the observation deck, and you can also see the first gong of the Olympics, etc. It is very good. To enter the observation deck, you need to pay another 10 yuan for tickets, and you will also be given a pair of shoe covers. You can also buy a bottle of water at the ticket office for 5 yuan a bottle. Go down the mountain to the right after leaving the observation deck. Although the steps are a bit steep, there is a cableway called Ruyiyuan Cableway soon. It takes only five minutes to get to the entrance after getting off the cableway. It is very good. It is recommended to go on weekdays. The cableway is 50 yuan per person on weekdays and 100 yuan per person on weekends. You can do as I did on weekdays, taking the cableway from the back mountain and from the front mountain, and only spent the money for taking the cableway once on weekends. Elsewhere, the scenery is great, but the ticketing staff should improve their work enthusiasm, they seem lazy, selling tickets slowly, and are not proficient in their work. After the viewing platform is built, groups from Beijing, Tianjin and Shanxi have come to visit, so please don't embarrass us Beijingers.

The glass viewing platform is great, and there are a lot of people on ordinary weekends

Too congested, just look from a distance, the cable car is too expensive

By 00F |

The ticket I bought from Meituan was 10 yuan cheaper and it was very convenient to pick up the ticket. The interior was generally OK. The steps to the top of the mountain were very steep. The glass platform was nice, quite high and exciting. There were few people if I went early. The mountain was beautiful, but the water view was very little and ordinary. I walked through the small map on the back of the ticket. I went there yesterday and took the cable car up and down, but my legs are still sore today because I walked too much. It is recommended to take the innermost cable car to go up the mountain. The cable car is 50 yuan per trip on weekdays and 100 yuan on weekends.

There were a lot of people, and I went there on Wednesday. The scenery was nice, but the cable car was a rip-off.

Buying tickets on Ctrip is 10 yuan cheaper than on-site. It is recommended to take the cable car inside. It is not hot or difficult to walk through a canyon. It is just that the ladder is not easy to climb. It will be fine once you get up. After getting off the cable car near the entrance, you still have to climb a very steep mountain. The scenery is also average. There are few people on weekdays, and there will be more people on weekends, not to mention the expensive cable car tickets. After getting off the Beijing-Ping Expressway, follow the navigation and you will arrive. It is very easy to drive.

80% of Shilinxia’s towering peaks are made up of sedimentary rocks. The crystal clear pools and streams in the forest allow people to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in the broad and deep embrace of nature. It also exercises the body and brings endless fun!

I went there for the glass viewing platform. The view was average. There were too many people. There was no separation between going up and down the mountain. There were no facilities.

Yesterday, I went to Shilin Gorge with my friends. Unfortunately, we encountered the largest number of tourists since its opening. Traffic was congested, the scenic area was crowded, and the infrastructure of the scenic area was not in place, so the experience was poor. Let me explain one by one:

At the entrance of the scenic area: there is a large square with some simple children's amusement facilities, such as rapids and spaceships. The ticket gate is located under the Shilinxia stone tablet.

Main route: The route to the summit (which is the highest platform where the UFO is located) is mainly divided into long and short routes.

The long route follows the water, passing through canyon streams and the Jiutian Waterfall, and finally converges with the short route at the Lake Viewing Pavilion.

The gurgling stream in the canyon is very pleasant and suitable for summer vacation, but there are no other special features. On the way to Jiutian Waterfall, there is a wooden ladder with more than 200 steps, called Tongtian Ladder, which is very steep and dense, and goes straight up the hillside. For tourists with average physical strength, there is almost no room for breathing and stopping. In terms of viewing, this section is obviously added later. I personally feel that there are too many artificial traces, which destroys the harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

The scenery along the short line is very simple, without much shade from trees. This section of stairs extends upward and intersects with the long line at the Lake Viewing Pavilion. Above the Lake Viewing Pavilion is the only way up the mountain to the summit.

In fact, the scenic area is not big, with a total length of 6km, but what we didn't expect was that it took us nearly 3 hours to reach the top of the mountain from the lake pavilion. This section of the road is built between the steep slopes of the mountain with simple iron stairs and wooden steps. The narrowest part can only accommodate two or three people passing side by side. I have to worry about whether there will be safety hazards in the case of a surge in passenger flow. Thousands of tourists are jammed on this narrow road. When we went up the mountain, people kept discussing next to us. Looking at the congestion, don't think about going back before 5 pm. From time to time, we asked tourists coming down the mountain: What's the situation up there? They all looked exhausted and disappointed, saying that you have to queue up at the viewing platform when you go up, and if you are lucky, you can get it done in four hours.

We finally reached the top of the mountain with the thought that "it's not easy to come here, so I'll stick to it". However, when we saw the chaotic queue at the entrance to the observation deck, we were discouraged. Under the scorching sun, everyone was crowded together, with no formation at all. It took a long time to reach the top, and everyone was impatient. The mood was understandable, but for the sake of personal safety, we decided not to join the crowd. From the pavilion next to it, we took a few photos of the UFO and the crowds of people next to it. We also witnessed a fierce quarrel and dangerous actions such as climbing over the railing.

The infrastructure and catering services are not in place. There is no place to provide food and drinks during the climb.

It is recommended that you prepare food and water before going up the mountain.

There was a huge crowd while climbing the mountain, but we only encountered one staff member to maintain order.

Tickets: Original price 78, I bought a group ticket for 65 per person. The one-way cableway ticket is 50 on weekdays and 100 on weekends and holidays.

In conclusion: the scenery is average, and it is (recently) full of tourists. The ticket price is low. For safety and travel experience, try to go on weekdays and queue up early.

I just went to Shilin Gorge, mainly for the glass observation deck, which is really great and has nice scenery, but maybe there are too many people and the hygiene is not very good!

There is a cable car to go up and down, but it is still tiring to climb. It would be better if the route instructions were clearer.

Shilin Gorge was originally an ordinary canyon with a ravine between two mountains, but the developers used the spring water in the canyon to build cascade dams, creating small waterfalls, small lakes, and unique bridges.

The pavilions and the strangely shaped rocks on the mountain form a group of interesting small scenes, which are given poetic names to keep tourists interested during the climb. In particular, the games they designed are very interesting, making climbers forget their fatigue.

The winding mountain trails record the hardships, difficulties and determination of the developers of Shilinxia.

Various large-scale entertainment facilities have contributed to attracting more tourists to Shilinxia.

I went to Shilinxia Scenic Area when I was in college. The overall feeling was good and relatively cool. There were many farmhouses and restaurants around it. I didn't have to worry about food and accommodation. I recommend it.

Shilinxia is located in Pinggu. It is just 20 kilometers away from Beijing-Chengde Expressway to Beijing-Pinggu Expressway. The parking lot is very large and charges 5 yuan per time. The ticket for Shilinxia is 48 yuan. The scenery inside is beautiful, with clear water and green mountains. The route we chose is not steep and is easy to walk. You can hear the trickling sound of mountain springs along the way, which feels very comfortable. Even in the summer, you will not feel hot, on the contrary, it is very cool. It is recommended to wear hole shoes, which makes it convenient to play in the water. The mountain spring is very cool and comfortable. You can see many children holding nets to catch fish, and they are having a lot of fun.

The scenery is beautiful and there are many water sports...

By Warm Forest |

Entering the scenic area, walking along the cement road made of stone slabs and cement, the grass and trees on the side are just light green, making people feel the budding breath of early spring. After a while, a pool of spring water appears in front of you, clear to the bottom, surrounded by huge rocks. Water is the soul of the mountain. With water, the mountain becomes more lively. The majesty of the mountain and the gracefulness of the water complement each other. This is the creation of nature.

After walking for a while, the sound of water began to linger in my ears, and the stream along the road gradually became more majestic. Now is the dry season, and the water flow is not very large, but with the company of clear pond water, there is less visual fatigue and it feels a lot cooler.

As you go further up, the mountains around you gradually become more distinctive. Some of the stone walls seem to be man-made, with neat layers, which makes people marvel at the wonders of nature.

I think the ticket to Shilinxia is too expensive, 78 is a bit steep.

There are several amusement projects at the entrance of Shilinxia Scenic Area, which are children's favorites. Parents should prepare a lot of money to buy tickets and let the children have fun!

The 78 yuan ticket seems a bit of a rip-off

By Jinglan |

There are many water activities at the entrance of Shilinxia, such as rapids, rafting, bumper boats, and water fights. It is a good place to bring children to play. The fee is about 20 to 40 yuan.

There are 3 water crossing projects after entering the door ~ Test your coordination ability ~

The mountain is very big. You can take the cable car to go up, which costs 50 yuan per trip, and 50 yuan to come down. Some of our teachers took the cable car and walked down, and some young teachers with good physical fitness walked halfway. We estimated that we only walked about 1/7. There was water along the way up the mountain, which was quite cool.

Let's take a look at Shilin Gorge in Pinggu. I have a very good impression of Shilin Gorge. The canyon is very cool, with gurgling water, which is quite pleasant.

I went there on a department trip in 2008. It was great. But there are a lot of stone steps. It might be tiring.
