Longqing Gorge combines the charm of southern mountains and rivers with the grandeur of northern mountains and rivers, and is known as the "Little Lijiang River" in Beijing.
In midsummer, the air in Longqing Gorge is fresh and the climate is cool. The average temperature is about 6 degrees lower than that in downtown Beijing, making it an ideal place for summer vacation.
The climate is cold in winter and the freezing period is long. An ice lantern art festival is held every winter. During the ice lantern exhibition, the various ice and snow sculptures are colorful and extremely spectacular.
There are a variety of entertainment projects. As soon as you step into the canyon, you will see the dragon-shaped elevator, which is known as the first in Asia. There are also thrilling and exciting projects such as the wing-skiing track, rock climbing field, ice climbing base, bungee jumping, and parachuting.
When you are tired of playing, you can go to the farmhouse in the scenic area to sit and try the local specialties such as roasted whole lamb, rainbow trout and other delicacies.

Longqing Gorge is located in the northwest of Yanqing District. A beautiful fjord was formed here due to the construction of a reservoir. In summer, the temperature here is 3-4 degrees Celsius lower than that in Beijing, making it a good place for summer travel. In winter, Longqing Gorge is extremely cold, and the temperature often drops to more than 20 degrees below zero. So people will set up a huge shed here to take out the ice from the reservoir and make ice lanterns. In early March of the following year, you may still see the crystal clear ice lanterns. The mountains in Longqing Gorge are somewhat like karst landforms, so some people call it "Little Guilin".
The store is closed for the time being, so this software doesn't seem to be updated much.
I went there with some classmates. Guess what? Before climbing the mountain, we took an elevator (escalator) and the entrance was the mouth of the long dragon. It was so impressive! !
You can not only experience the fun of outdoor hiking and appreciate the magical beauty of the "Little Jiuzhaigou outside the Great Wall", but also take a dragon boat to experience the natural scenery of the Little Li River in the North - Longqing Gorge, which is so beautiful!
It is about 1 km from the intersection to the gate of the scenic area. There is a shuttle bus. It costs 5 yuan per person for a one-way trip. It is very convenient. There are many buses and the turnover is very fast. You can see tourists walking along the way on the bus.
A huge dragon is circling the mountain at the dam. The higher the dam, the deeper the water is.
Enter the escalator and go up all the way. After crossing the dam, you will reach the cruise ship terminal.
The scenery in the gorge is indeed beautiful, with clear water, green cliffs, and a cool and pleasant temperature. Boats travel back and forth in the gorge, and waves crash against the shore. The mountains on both sides are lush and green, which is very beautiful. The waterway in the gorge is winding, and there are landscapes everywhere. There is a landscape hidden on the mountains on both sides: Camel Stone. There is also an inscription that I want to leave in history - it really has the flavor of a "little Lijiang River"!
After 10 minutes of sailing, we arrived at the Konggangsan Pier. There is an inscription that reads "The swallows pass by and leave their voices behind". Looking up, we can see knights "working" in the sky! This attracted a lot of exclamations. The extremely exciting bungee jumping is in sight (not suitable for young and old)
Very bad scenic spot, maybe it's the wrong time, warning people not to go to Longqing Gorge in this season, 40 yuan ticket, you can't see anything, you can only take the elevator to the place where you can take the boat, you can't go anywhere without taking the boat. I discussed with my four brothers, since we are here, let's take the boat. In the end, the boat ticket is 100 yuan, and in the name of the lake ice not melting, they only take you in and take a 20-minute boat ride, and then you come out, that's it. It's a rip-off.
Longqing Gorge
In Yanqing, it is a certain distance from the urban area. Longqing Gorge was formerly known as "Nine Bends of the Ancient City" and is praised by people as the "Little Li River" of Beijing. It is still okay to see the mountains and rivers.
A great place to escape the summer heat, very close to Beijing, where you can feel refreshed physically and mentally while boating among the mountains.
Beijing Summer Resort
It is called the Little Three Gorges.
The scenery here is unique
I went to Longqing Gorge a long time ago. It was winter at that time, and I went to see the ice lanterns in Longqing Gorge. There were many shapes of ice lanterns inside, and they were all lifelike. If you want to go out and play in winter, watching the ice lanterns is a good place to go.
The Little Three Gorges is worthy of its reputation
The temperature is very low on National Day
But the scenery is really beautiful
The only problem
Tickets 40, boat trip 100, cable car 50
There are various other charges
A very mature scenic spot, also quite famous in Yanqing. I have been there twice, once during the National Day holiday and once in winter to see the ice lanterns. During the National Day holiday, you basically don't have to climb the mountain, you can take the elevator up, and then you can take a boat. Basically, you can take the boat to complete the tour. The boat ride feels pretty good. However, the tickets and boat tickets are not cheap, and I personally don't think it's worth it.
I went to see the ice lanterns in winter. After all, it is the only place in Beijing where you can see ice lanterns. I have been thinking about it for many years and finally went there. But the area of the ice lanterns is too small. If you want to see ice lanterns, you should go to Harbin.
Overall, the Longqing Gorge attraction is not highly recommended.
The ice lanterns in Longqing Gorge are really amazing. This is a Chinese text I learned in the second grade of elementary school. So every year when the ice lantern season comes in Longqing Gorge, I will go to see it because I think it is magical.
The boat trip to Longqing Gorge is still worth seeing, with many peaks, but it is still far from being called Guilin on the water, but it can be compared with the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and the Three Gorges of the Yellow River. There are also mountaineering, cable cars, bungee jumping, boating, zip lines and other projects. Baihua Cave is not worth seeing, all of them are fake plants and flowers, and none of them are real, but it is quite cool. If you don't climb mountains, Longqing Gorge is also suitable for the elderly.
There are mountains and water, the scenery is beautiful. First time to travel by car
Longqing Gorge was formerly known as the "Nine Bends of the Ancient City" and is known as the "Little Li River" of Beijing. It is one of the sixteen scenic spots in Beijing. Longqing Gorge has steep peaks and clear waters. The 7-kilometer-long canyon has both the beauty of the south and the grandeur of the north, with openness and depth, and steepness and shallows.
Longqing Gorge is one of the scenic spots in Yanqing. The scenery is different in each season. Summer is the best time to go there. You can take a boat into the gorge and there are many activities along the way. Except for the sun, it is worth visiting. I highly recommend it to those who have not been there.
The 2017 Yanqing Ice Lantern Festival is the 31st. This year, my family came here to enjoy the lanterns on the first day of the Lunar New Year. We were really shocked by this magical world of ice and snow. The ticket price for adults is 100 yuan/person, which is not cheap, but it is still worth it overall. The parking management here needs to be improved. The parking lot management is relatively chaotic. Parking is charged when leaving, 10 yuan per car, which is not expensive, but because there are many tourists, most of them are self-driving, so when leaving the scenic area, queuing to pay becomes a big problem. I hope the scenic area can improve its parking management. I hope the ice lanterns will be more exciting next year!
The ticket to Longqingxia Scenic Area is 40 yuan (really not expensive). I came to Longqingxia many years ago, but that was also to see the famous "Longqingxia Ice Lantern Exhibition". Except for the ice sculpture area, I have no impression of other scenery.
Maybe it was because it was still early in the season, the parking lot in the scenic area was empty with not many tourists, which was in stark contrast to the crowded "Gubei Water Town" in Miyun yesterday.
It's good to have fewer people, and it's quiet. But if you want some other services, you need to wait for people: if there are many people, you have to queue, and if there are few people, you have to wait. For example, from the parking lot to the entrance of the scenic spot, there is a one-kilometer asphalt road to walk, which takes about 10 minutes. There are electric shuttles in the scenic spot, which cost 5 yuan per person, which is not expensive, but also quite expensive.
When I arrived, I had to wait for a while before a group of people gathered to go up the mountain. I thought: Wouldn’t it be better to build the parking lot a little higher up at the entrance of the scenic area?
It only took a few minutes by shuttle bus to arrive at the main entrance ticket office of Longqingxia Scenic Area. There were many private cars parked along the way, probably brought in by local villagers at the parking lot.
The ticket office of the scenic area shows that the cable car and wooden boat are temporarily suspended during this season.
After checking the ticket, I entered the gate. It was very quiet inside. The first thing that caught my eye was a small artificial lake in front of a grand building and a waterwheel running slowly in the lake, which was quite appropriate. There were pavilions and lounge chairs by the lake, which were suitable for tourists to rest and take a nap.
There is a square further ahead, where there are no people visiting the "carousel" and other amusement rides, and there are several locked shops and stalls around. It looks like many "cultural squares" or "beer squares" in the city center. It must be cool to come here to drink in the hot summer.
There is a symbolic "dragon" in Longqingxia Scenic Area. This man-made dragon is very unique: the dragon body is built along the mountain and gradually rises, and the dragon head opens its mouth at the foot of the mountain. Needless to say, this must be a passage to go up the mountain.
But looking from a distance at this huge dragon clinging to the steep mountain, how difficult is this? How strong is this? ....
I didn't expect that after entering the dragon's body from its mouth, I found that there were not endless stairs inside, but an elevator! An escalator! ! Cool, right? Well, I stood on the escalator and circled for a long time, thinking that the 40 yuan ticket was worth it just to ride this escalator.
Just outside the dragon's body, which has an elevator built into it, is the ferry terminal.
The boat ticket is quite expensive, 100 yuan per person for a round trip (it is a circular tour, so no one-way tickets are sold). It is said that Longqing Gorge is known as the "Little Three Gorges", so if you don't take a boat, wouldn't it be a waste of time? 100 is 100!
We came to Longqing Gorge for a cruise in mid-April, which was a little early. No wonder there were not many guests. When I saw the staff on the boat wearing military coats, I felt that I must be wearing too little!
The low temperature is not the main issue, the main issue is that the scenery is also compromised. The lush greenery that used to be like the scenery of the Li River has been replaced by large areas of gray and yellow, which is not the best viewing effect.
The boat traveled for about 20 to 30 minutes, and the river reached the end. From a distance, I saw a "turn around" land traffic sign on the mountain. Below this sign were all floating ice that had not completely melted, and it was quite impressive.
Longqing Gorge is generally average! There is a boat for 100 yuan per person. I think it is very average. The momentum at the entrance is okay. Friends who have not been there can go and have a look!
My classmate lives in Yanqing, and the class organized an activity, so we all went there together. It's not bad, with beautiful scenery and simple folk customs.
We also rode horses, and it was so exciting~
The two banks are steep and the canyon is deep. Especially in winter, walking on the thick ice with everything around covered in snow is more beautiful than in summer.
Yanqing is definitely a good place for tourism and vacation, especially Longqing Gorge, which is known as the Little Three Gorges. It has a long dragon ladder, beautiful mountains and rivers, and a great cruise. You can also bungee jump. There are beautiful scenery everywhere. In winter, you can also see ice lanterns. It is unique in Beijing! I have been there two or three times and I feel that it is not necessary to make this trip every time. The two places I love and remember most in Yanqing are Yudu Mountain and Longqing Gorge. Great! By the way, I also want to praise the two inns I stayed in. One is a B&B courtyard for 9 people for only 800 yuan, which is less than 100 yuan per person on average. It is great inside 👍 You can also cook by yourself. The things we use are better than those used in five-star hotels, and they are very clean and stylish. The boss is a veteran named Hao. The phone number is 15811180101 and the WeChat is huowa002. He is very enthusiastic! It is only 10 minutes drive from Longqing Gorge. The impression is very good! Where will you stay next time? Share it with everyone
The scenery is nice, but the commercial atmosphere is too strong, but it is still worth a visit. The ticket and boat ticket are a bit expensive, 140
After nearly 10 years, I came to Longqing Gorge again, and I was still surprised. The current Longqing Gorge is contracted by Koreans, so it is really different from many experiences and interactions. I booked a package (ticket + boat ticket) online, the price is 135 yuan/person. Although there are separate tickets, I still recommend everyone to buy a package. Sitting on the boat to experience Longqing Gorge is really a different flavor, as if you are in Guilin, the scenery is really great! The temperature in Longqing Gorge is about 0.6 degrees lower than that of Chengde Mountain Resort, so it is definitely a first choice for summer travel. If you want to stay, it is recommended to stay in Longwan International Camping Park. The integrated wooden houses are amazing in terms of price and supporting facilities~
The journey is long, the scenery is average, and you need to take a boat tour
On the way back to Guyaju, we went to Longqing Gorge, which was just on the same line. Longqing Gorge has beautiful mountains and water scenery, but the only thing is that the boat ride is expensive, 100 yuan per person, and the cable car is 50 yuan per person
The brave ones can choose to play bungee jumping and take a boat to wander between the canyons.
If I were to rank the mountains and waters in the suburbs of Beijing, I would personally put Longqing Gorge first.
I went there by bike in Longqing Gorge. It was very refreshing and the scenery was great.
I have always wanted to see the ice lanterns, and this time I finally had the chance to go. From where I got off the bus to the scenic area, the road was filled with all kinds of lights, cartoons, and strange shapes. The trees were also decorated with butterflies and other shapes. There was a festive atmosphere at night and it was very beautiful. The ice lanterns are in a large shed, and the main shape this year is a skating shape. The ice lantern area is not particularly large, but there are many of them. There are various houses and small bridges, and the individual ice sculptures are also very transparent. After leaving the ice lantern area, there is an elevator that can directly reach the mountain of Longqing Gorge, which is very convenient. There is a platform on the dam on the mountain. Standing on it, you can see the scenery below the mountain. There is nothing special when it is dawn in winter, but the scenery should be very good in summer. There is also a Baihua Cave in the cave, which is full of various scenes made of fake flowers. Just take a look. There is also a sliding thing on the mountain, but it cannot be played in winter. There are colorful lights and floats hanging everywhere on the trees at the bottom of the mountain, and there are Monkey King shapes everywhere. The mountain also uses lights to build a Great Wall shape, which is really attentive. The food is average, grilled sausage and corn are 5 yuan each, but there is almost no place to sit, and it is still very cold in the scenic spot in winter. There is a house at the entrance of the scenic spot where you can take a rest, but we wanted to get a cup of boiled water, and they actually told us it was 10 yuan a cup, which is too dark!!! It is recommended to bring a thermos cup to get some hot water when you go.
Longqing Gorge, known as the Little Li River outside the Great Wall, is definitely worth a visit. Although the ticket package is a bit expensive, it is really reasonable. Few people know about it and it is not crowded. After entering the gate, you can start taking a boat. The boat is very new and definitely not an old boat that has been there for decades. After the boat starts, there is a free guide on the boat to introduce the scenery. The scenery is really beautiful. You can climb the mountain and see the Vajra Temple and the thousand-year-old temple by boat. You can also take the cable car. I heard that it is inspected every day and is very safe. Anyway, I feel that I am in a very good mood after going there.
In addition, the highest water temperature in summer is only 10℃, which is very cool. Girls wearing shorts are better to bring a coat to cover their legs. Haha 😄
The scenery is very good, much better than Qinglong Gorge, but the scenic spot is very deceptive, the ticket is just a ticket, and the inside is basically a ticket, which costs hundreds of yuan. It feels like a rip-off.
The activities organized by the company are pretty good. There are development activities and games. Everyone has a lot of fun.
The ticket is 40/person, the boat ticket is 100/person, and the package ticket is 150/person, with an extra 10-yuan ticket for Baihua Cave. To be honest, this Baihua Cave is really a failure. The cable car is 50/person.
I like this attraction very much. I have been there once in winter and once in summer.
In winter, the ice lanterns in Longqing Gorge are amazing, but there are also a lot of people. The temperature here is several degrees lower than in the city, but the night view is beautiful with bright lights.
In summer, there are mountains and water here. You can go boating, take the cable car, and play on the slide. It's very interesting.
It is particularly worth mentioning that there is an elevator to go up the mountain, which is really not tiring, and then take the slide down.
There is a Hundred Flowers Cave inside which requires a separate fee. Although it is a man-made environment, it is still quite beautiful.
The scenic area has a large parking lot. There is a sightseeing bus from the gate to the main entrance of the scenic area. If you don’t take it, you have to walk a long way.
The tour route of the entire scenic area is well planned. I didn't feel tired after a day of playing, and the scenery is really beautiful!
Longqing Gorge has always been a famous scenic spot, known as Little Guilin. The scenery of the mountain climbing is very ordinary. In my opinion, the most attractive thing is to take a boat tour of the gorge. You can look up at the towering green mountains around you while in the water, and you can also see high-altitude bicycle performances and bungee jumping. The whole process takes about 20 minutes and the ticket price is 100 yuan. The cost performance is not very high, but this is the only way to experience the beauty of Longqing Gorge.
It's worth a visit, especially the environment around the scenic spot, which is full of scenery. If there are many people, you can play around.
Climbing the mountain is tiring, but it’s great to see the panoramic view of the reservoir at the top of the mountain.
I went there once when I was in school and once when my company organized me to go there, but I went there to see the ice sculptures.
Tickets are 100 yuan per person, and those under 1.2 meters tall are free. The temperature in the mountains is lower than in the city, so be sure to keep warm.
Yanqing Longqingxia Ice Lantern Festival has been very famous over the years. Although the themes of each ice lantern festival are different, the wonder of the ice waterfall rushing down the reservoir dam has been preserved every year. A huge ice waterfall hangs down from the 70-meter-high dam, decorated with ice flowers and icicles, forming a crystal clear ice and snow paradise with thousands of feet of waterfalls.
The temperature is a few degrees lower than that in Beijing city and the air is very good.
1) Tickets: 140 yuan/person; (The combined ticket price includes tickets + boat tickets + Baihua Cave. The ticket we bought at the hotel is 135 yuan/person, but later we found that this ticket does not include Baihua Cave. If Baihua Cave is purchased alone, it is 10 yuan/person; students enjoy half-price tickets, that is, 20 yuan/person, and boat tickets are 100 yuan/person.)
Parking fee: 5 yuan/car/time
Longqing Gorge should be a very mature scenic spot in Beijing. The scenery in the scenic spot must be visited by boat. It is a little cold sitting on the boat at this time of year, but fortunately the weather is good and there is plenty of sunshine. We are very satisfied to be able to enjoy the scenery similar to the Three Gorges in Beijing, which is seriously short of water. The mountains in Longqing Gorge are steep and of various shapes. Not only are there magnificent natural scenery, but the high-altitude stunts specially arranged by the scenic spot also amaze tourists. Fortunately, in addition to the bungee jumping platform installed at the Jingang Temple Pier, there are no other superfluous places in the scenic area, maintaining the natural water and mountain scenery. In general, the scenery of Longqing Gorge is still very beautiful and worth visiting in all seasons.
I heard that Longqing Gorge is known as the "Little Li River". I have also heard of the term "Little Yarlung Zangbo River", but it is possible that the latter describes the gorge on the way to Tianchi Lake in Yanshan. Regardless of what it is called, the scenery is very beautiful with winding paths. My daughter also kept asking why the lake water here is green, probably because it is reflected by the green mountains.
Entering the canyon, a 258-meter-long dragon head hangs from the cliff, with its claws flying. It is known as the first dragon-shaped elevator in Asia, and it is domineering. As you ascend in the elevator, you can see that there is a reinforced concrete dam opposite, and inside the dam is a giant reservoir. When the water is full, it flows out from the side hole spillway, rushing down, forming a spectacular waterfall. After entering, you can climb the mountain. It was quite hard. I climbed for a whole morning. At the beginning, I was wearing long sleeves, but later I took them off and only wore the vest inside, sweating profusely. While climbing, you can also see many elderly people climbing the mountain. Their speed cannot be underestimated. Their bodies are really great. Climbing to the top of the mountain is a small pavilion. From the pavilion, you can look far away and overlook, and you can see the beautiful scenery.
There is Baihua Cave, which is decorated in various styles from the south to the north of the Yangtze River. There are residential buildings in the northeastern style, wooden houses with red window grilles in the snow (miniature landscape), Hainan scenery, tropical rain forest, and... A hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix, all of which are fake decorations.
All the staff of Longqingxia (Maorunyuan Farmhouse) are waiting for your arrival with sincere attitude and warm service, special food
It is rare to find such a magnificent scenic spot in Beijing. You must take a cruise. The mountains on both sides are really majestic.
Longqing Gorge is located at the ancient city river mouth, northwest of Gucheng Village, 10 kilometers northeast of Yanqing County, Beijing, and 85 kilometers from Beijing city. Longqing Gorge was formerly known as "Ancient City Nine Bends" and is known as the "Little Li River" of Beijing. It is one of the 16 new scenic spots in Beijing. The ice lanterns in Longqing Gorge are very good every year and suitable for self-driving.
I slept until I woke up naturally, went to Longqingxia Scenic Area, rode a horse for a while, and didn’t want to stay at the horse farm.
I asked the master to take me to the mountain. After passing a section of the road, the old horse ran so fast that it was about to break my balls.
You can't afford to run a horse in a grassy area.
Longqing Gorge Scenic Area is located at the Gucheng River mouth, northwest of Gucheng Village, 10 kilometers northeast of Yanqing County, Beijing, and 85 kilometers from Beijing city. Longqing Gorge was formerly known as "Nine Bends of Gucheng". Its water originates from the eastern foot of Haituo Mountain and flows into Gucheng Reservoir through Yudu Mountain. Adult ticket: 140 yuan Child ticket: 120 yuan
I came here once when I was a kid and it was freezing cold. Now it's not that cold and not that interesting, but there are always a lot of people because there are really no entertainment activities in winter. It is recommended to watch the Longqingxia Ice Lantern at night, as it will not be very effective during the day.
Longqingxia Ice Lanterns
The world of ice and snow is beautiful, but in one word, it is cold! This year's Ice Lantern Festival ends at the end of February. If you haven't had time to go yet, you can take advantage of the off-season after the Spring Festival to go there!
It was probably in May 2007 that I visited Longqing Gorge with my parents. Although I had been there once, its scenery is still as beautiful as ever!
Take the Dragon Elevator to the mountain, where the cliffs are as steep as if cut by a knife. Take a boat tour with a cool breeze and a beautiful view at every turn.
The temperature here is several degrees lower than in the city in summer. In summer, with green mountains and clear water, it feels like you are in the Three Gorges on a cruise.
Longqing Gorge is part of Beijing Yanqing Geopark and is known as the "Little Li River in the North". You can enjoy the various peaks and caves by boating in the creek.
I went there in 2010 as organized by my company. It was great. It’s good to be organized. Hahaha. The water is very clear.
