I don’t know when it started, but the popularity of celebrities and Madame Tussauds’ wax figures became linked, and being made into a wax figure is enough to show how popular the celebrity is.

I missed Madame Tussauds when I went to Hong Kong before, so I went to Beijing to make up for it out of curiosity, and it was really worth the trip.

Madame Tussauds herself was a businesswoman, and her awareness of brand management can be seen in her wax museum.

1. 90% of the celebrity wax figures are very lifelike, so lifelike that it's a bit scary to take a photo next to the wax figures. The museum has a guide to the wax figure making process based on Yang Lan. They don't even miss the details like the bloodshot eyes.

2. Most people go to wax museums to take photos with celebrities, but they don't know how to take photos with these motionless wax figures. The wax museum has specially cooperated with Baidu. By scanning the code to enter the relevant page and taking a photo of the corresponding celebrity wax figure, it can recommend a pose to imitate. I give full marks to this idea, but it seems that not many people know about it.

3. The interactive session was quite interesting. Da Zhangwei's Beijing pose was particularly adorable. His wax figure was slumped on the sofa. Off topic, I don't know what the criteria for celebrities to be admitted to the wax museum are. I guess Da Zhangwei is a Beijing native.

4. There is a souvenir shop at the entrance, which is also high-end. One refrigerator magnet costs 50 yuan, and you can get a 50% discount if you buy two. It is quite exquisite. I took two home. You can also make hand models, which is very popular among couples.

5. The most thoughtful thing about the wax museum is that most of the wax figures are equipped with signboards with celebrity quotes, allowing people to remember "them" more deeply.

You can see it in the window of Qianmen Street Pedestrian Street. If you are interested, you can go inside to visit.

By sophia_zhu |

It's not very big and you can walk through it in a short while, but the scenery is still good.

Not bad!!! Not bad!!! Not bad!!! Not bad!!! Not bad!!!

This place is pretty good, I recommend you to go and have a look when you have time.

By Let's travel together |

The ticket was not cheap, but I went with my student ID. It was OK. There were not many people at that time, and I had enough time to take pictures with each wax figure.

By Yuanyuan |

My son and his friend went there. They liked it very much. It was very realistic and the location was good. The children didn't have to worry about safety when they went in. The adults could go to the front door.

By Sunshine on the other side |

I just watched a documentary about Madame Tussauds and wanted to see what the real wax figures look like and how they are made, so I came here. Online ticket purchases are cheaper than on-site purchases, but they can only be used 2 hours later. This trick is quite cruel. Most people can only choose to buy tickets on-site, 180 per person. There are all kinds of popular stars in it. Some are very well made and very realistic, while others are simply weak and don’t look like them at all, such as Jay Chou’s... After all, the ticket price is so expensive, so take your time to stroll around and take pictures, don’t be in a hurry, and come out after you have had enough fun.

By Not yet |

You can take a look, but I don't recommend it. You can buy tickets online.

By Yi |

When I was making a guide, I accidentally discovered that there was a wax statue of a person at the door, which was lifelike~~

By wl8stone |

The wax figures of foreigners are better, and a few of the Chinese ones are not very similar, but overall they are good and suitable for taking photos.

By View of the Future |

Although the ticket price is a bit expensive, the wax figures inside make me feel that the trip is worthwhile.

By qpf2000 |

After a short rest in the hotel, I went to the first attraction of this trip, Madame Tussauds, with my daughter. It is very close to the hotel, no more than 10 minutes' walk.

By Mario |

The scenery is pleasant and beautiful, it is worth visiting!

By Travel with Huahua |

I don't recommend it. It's on the street of Dashilan. I looked at it from the outside. There is a Jackie Chan statue outside, but I didn't go in. It felt not cost-effective and it's not very big.

Madame Tussauds wax figures

Like a car accident scene

Depp seems to be better.

Like Jay Chou and Lu Han

It's just too blind to see.

I heard Madame Tussauds in Shanghai is better?

By Shevon_Hae |

Madame Tussauds is quite interesting. It allowed me to get close to celebrities for the first time. Although they are motionless, they are really lifelike.

By Siyuan |

It's on Wangfujing Road. I found it by accident while shopping at night. Tickets are required! It's a great place to show off and take photos! O(∩_∩)O Haha~

By Meet the most beautiful you |

I have only been to this Madame Tussauds in Beijing, but my friends told me that the one in Shanghai is pretty good. This one in Beijing seems to be newly opened. It was my first time to experience this kind of wax figure and it felt okay. There were not too many figures and I could finish the visit in about an hour.

The Hall of Celebrities and the Wax Museum. It’s fun to take photos with them!

By Waves in the waves |

It is recommended to buy tickets online for 160 and on-site for 180. Ticket sales end at 8 o'clock and business ends at 9 o'clock.

The visiting time is from 19:07 to 20:50. There is almost no one there. I can take pictures with the wax figures without any worries. So I had a great time.

The wax figures are almost all similar, such as the Queen, but I think the one that looks the most like her is really Brother Bo. He looks exactly like her. A confident actor.

Yixing, who entered the museum recently, also took up a large space. It's a pity that they are not on the same floor.

I don't know if Uncle Face will be able to move in.

There are three floors in total. Take the elevator to the third floor for a tour and then go down to the second floor

Compared to the wax figures I saw in Shanghai a long time ago, the Beijing Pavilion does not have many wax figures and there are no detailed categories.

The second floor is for some domestic and foreign celebrities and fashion galleries. The first person I saw when I entered was Yang Mi. She looks pretty similar and still looks good.

Carina Lau Zhao Liying Yao Chen Depp Benedict Cumberbatch Jolie Huang Xiaoming Leonardo DiCaprio Shang Wenjie David Beckham Kate Winslet

If I remember correctly, Fan Bingbing, Kate and Nicole Kidman were standing on a stage.

Liu Wen in the fashion hall stood majestically on the catwalk. There was an automatic camera in front of the camera, and you could pay to buy it back.

You can also go on a show and record a video for fun

By the way, there are two body-sensing game areas in the museum. You can play tennis and box with the animated characters on the screen.

Friends who want to go can remember to go in an hour before closing time and it’s half price.

By Sandm |

I have been to many wax museums at different times. Although the Beijing Wax Museum is not very big, it has many different wax figures.

I went to the wax museum to see Leo and Yang Yang. There weren't many people inside. The wax figures of some foreigners were quite realistic, but the wax figures of domestic celebrities were a bit rough.

But overall it's still pretty good. The ticket price is not expensive. I bought a student ticket with my girlfriend on Meituan, but you must bring your student ID or you may not be allowed in.

By 100-pound fat man |

Qianmen Street, to share with friends from other places, is the street opposite the Zhengyangmen Tower. The ticket is really expensive, 180 yuan. You can buy it on the group buying website for 120 yuan. I went there late, after 6 o'clock, and it was 110 yuan. I'm not sure if it's a temporary event or a long-term price. It was really amazing after entering. There were so many wax figures, which was amazing. I was shocked by the craftsmanship of the wax figures, but you must go with two or more people, otherwise it will be painful if no one helps you take pictures. One to one and a half hours.

By button |

Madame Tussauds' wax figures are no longer limited to people with great influence in society, but now cater to the public with various young and handsome men.

By Yaoyao666 |

Many celebrities are there, it's worth going but the tickets are too expensive

By Playful little boye |

The ticket price is 150 per person, which is a bit expensive, but the space inside is really large and winding, and you may meet your favorite star around the corner.

By Avatar Finds Nanyang |

This is my first time to visit Madame Tussauds, the one in the capital. I was so happy to see my baby, haha~~~

By There is |

Very good, similar to the one in Shanghai, the location of this one in Beijing is also very good.

By Miss Lili |

I recommend people who go there on these two days to go in after 6pm. Buy one get one free. There are few people. No need to queue. Have fun taking photos. So happy

By lsy_sweet |

It's quite interesting. I took pictures with each character. There were not many people visiting, so I had enough time to take pictures. The props inside were also very realistic.

By Quiet |

I have always wanted to go inside and I think the online promotion is very interesting. There are many wax figures inside, which are very realistic. You can take pictures at will, and they will provide props, clothes and other items for taking pictures. The lighting is a bit dim, maybe to create an atmosphere. When I went there, several wax figures were under maintenance. Because I went there on the weekend, there were a lot of people, and I needed to queue up for ticket inspection. Group purchase tickets are also limited in time.

By Noah's Ark |

In Dashilan, the wax figures are very good and lifelike. If you haven’t been there, you can go and have a look and get “close” to the celebrities.

By Tumur Saihan's father |

Lifelike, vivid, vividly depicting a person's demeanor and bearing

By Reminiscence of the Past |

Some wax figures are really like real people. They look real from a distance. I just pose for photos. Haha.

By 2nd Cargo Xu Deliang |

On the east side of Qianmen Street, it seems to have been newly built in 2013. There is nothing to see.

By Sister Ya |

Very suitable for children, taking pictures is fun. Buy tickets online for more discounts.

By Tiffany |

It was close to the Spring Festival when I went there, and there were few tourists in the wax museum, so I could interact with all kinds of stars.

By Recalling Xiaonan |

I can also take photos and have fun. I can also go shopping. I'll be here all day.

By SevenEmerald |

I went to Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong a month before I went to Madame Tussauds in Beijing. I went there a second time because I was with someone else. In fact, wax museums in different places feel similar. There may be one or two stars that are not in other museums. I think the ticket price is a little expensive. After all, you just go in and walk around and visit (of course, if you need to hold your idol and touch and nibble on him, that's another matter). In addition, I went there twice in one month, so... But the wax figures are really beautiful, basically they look alike, at least they all have a charm, and it's fun to take photos with them.

By Fannai Fannai Peter Rabbit |

It's good to go once! Be sure to take more photos! Make more poses! It's wonderful to come back and look at it! If you just take a quick look, you may feel bored. Have a good time 👍

By Little Apple |

The price is high, but it's worth a look, it's very similar to other places

By misty |

Madame Tussauds on Qianmen Street has many stars and it feels great

By Gravity |

Comparing it with Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong, you can see how good the Beijing one is. The portraits are more natural, but the number is a little less.

By Haihe River |

The images are lifelike and realistic, and are indistinguishable from the real ones. It features a gathering of world celebrities.

By Godmez |

Madame Tussauds Beijing is located on Qianmen Street. There are many tourists taking photos at the entrance, but few actually go in.

By Pirate |

There are many wax figures of celebrities, and we took about 2 hours to shoot and play with them.

By Great Joy |

I personally think it's pretty good. Each character is lifelike, and it's like being in close contact with them for a moment. Good memories.

By Lin Gouxi |

When we bought the tickets, we were offered a free hand mask, and everything else was fine.

By Prince Cai |

Located on Qianmen Street, on the street between the Arrow Tower and Liulichang, the ticket is 180, which is a bit expensive, but if you don’t want to go in, you can take a photo with Ye Shiwen and Jackie Chan at the door.

By shark |

Compared with the Madame Tussauds in Changsha and Wuhan, there are more people here. I always thought that the people in these wax museums were the same, but obviously there are more celebrities in the big capital. And even if the same people have some different movements, I took pictures in each wax museum and it felt like I really saw the celebrities. After all, the movements were different every time, haha

By |

It's pretty good. The wax museum is a bit small, with three floors above ground and one floor underground. It only takes an hour to visit. The price-performance ratio is a bit high. If there are stars you want to see in it, the value is another matter.

By cc's mango |

I took a day off over the weekend to visit the wax museum to make up for not going there during the winter break.

I waited in line for more than an hour, and online orders only take effect two hours later. Friends who want to go should pay attention to the time.

Let's talk about the inside. There are four floors in total, one underground and three above ground. First visit the underground floor, then take the elevator to the third floor to continue the tour.

There weren’t many wax figures inside, most of them looked like celebrities. I saw my favorite Kobe, but I was so sad that there was no Kris Wu.

By Fruit Baby |

It's pretty good, not too small, and there are toys. The children like it and don't want to leave.

By Mount Kailash |

The wax figures are very realistic, and it feels like meeting a real person. The tickets are a bit expensive.

By Glutinous rice fruit |

Madame Tussauds is really interesting!

Although you know it's just a wax figure, you still can't help but want to take a photo with him, hahahaha.

When I saw the Monkey King Sun Wukong, I jumped up!

The wax museum is located on Qianmen Street. Take bus No. 22 and get off at Qianmen. Walk a few hundred meters and you will arrive. It is very eye-catching. It opened in 2014. There are 3 floors in the museum, and exhibitions are divided into sports and art. The ticket price of Ctrip is 150 yuan/person. It can be booked on the same day and can be cancelled before 18:00 on the same day. After 18:00, you need to cancel by phone. I guess... The wax museum seems to be open until 21:00. We chose to go there on the day after arriving in Beijing. Fortunately, there were not many people. We also didn’t want to catch up with the short holiday the next day. But we went after 18:00 that night and caught up with the event. It costs 180 yuan for 2 people. What a pity, but we had already booked in advance on Ctrip and felt that it was troublesome to cancel, so we didn’t enjoy it. Why go out to play? Just have fun. Who cares about the money? The complicated procedures can’t stop us from rushing in to take pictures. I have long wanted to see the legendary Madame Tussauds. There are not many people. You can take all kinds of photos of wax figures. They are very realistic, with lighting and sound effects. Guo Degang, Michael Jackson, Lin Dan, Queen of England, Zhen Huan, Mei Lanfang, etc. There are props for taking pictures. You can take pictures together, as if the real people are right next to you.

Madame Tussauds Beijing is located at No. 8 Qianmen Street Pedestrian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. The wax figures are lifelike, and many boys and girls took photos with celebrity wax figures. Tickets are expensive!

By People who want to travel |

As a country person, I was also shocked when I saw the “real people” for the first time. They took all kinds of photos and selfies. Some of the stars’ poses were quite funny. I had an endless desire to take photos. The tickets were 90 or 100 yuan, which was not expensive, but I still felt a little hesitant. Moreover, Meituan required reservations to be made 2 hours in advance, which was a huge mistake…

By Tony |

Tickets purchased on Taobao cost 135 yuan, and you must specify a date. Tickets are available after 2 hours. Take Metro Line 2, exit at Qianmen Station, exit C, and walk (about 5 minutes) to Qianmen Street. The wax museum is not far from the main street.

Arrived at 11am, not many people (not sure if it was because it was not a holiday or summer or winter vacation). There are 3 floors inside, you need to take the elevator, the wax figures are divided into different areas (such as sports, film and television, etc.), and the distance between each wax figure is relatively close (does not hinder taking photos). The wax figures are well made overall, most celebrities have independent backgrounds, and there are props for assisting in taking photos. There are special photography equipment and personnel at the Obama wax figure, they will guide and help you take photos for free, and after the photo code is completed, you will be given a photo code, which can be printed at the entrance of the internal store (1 piece/70 yuan, 2 pieces/120 yuan), it doesn't matter if you don't want it. There are various introductions at Madame Tussauds wax figure, and there is also a store that makes hand models on the same floor (you can customize it if you are interested).

It takes 2 hours to take photos throughout the whole process (basically there is no queue).

The ticket price is very cheap, the design is very similar, and the facade is also very good

By Meng-M-Meng |

We caught up with the Valentine's Day special and bought two adult tickets for 212 yuan, which was quite a deal.

The wax museum has four floors in total, one underground and three above ground. Although it is not very big, there are indeed quite a few wax figures.

Regardless of whether the wax figure is similar to the real person, I am amazed by the details of the wax figure. The lines on the hands are portrayed very realistically, and the eyelashes, hair and other things are also realistically restored. After looking at it too much, I feel a little dazed and can't tell which is the real person and which is the wax figure.

Is Madame Tussauds open today? We are in Xidan, it is very convenient to go there, but I can't get through on the phone. I don't know if it will be open during the first month of the lunar year. Does anyone know?

By Sumire |

It's on Qianmen Street. Two days after I left Beijing, the wax figure of the deer moved in. However, the resemblance is not good enough.

By Mr. Yu's Xiao girl |

It is on Qianmen Street, and the ticket price is 250 yuan. It is cheaper to book online. There are wax figures of various stars inside, and most of them are said to be quite similar. I didn't go in because I was not interested. The uncle selling tickets at the door asked us to take a photo with the wax figure of Jobs at the door, which made us feel like we were here for a visit.

By Jia_Blue |

I would say it is extremely boring, maybe because I am not interested in these things.

It is located in Qianmen Pedestrian Street, about 500 meters from the north entrance. You can get there from Qianmen Station on Metro Line 2, and there are many buses including 5, 8, 11, 82, etc.

It was built a few years ago, and the decoration and service are pretty good. It is very big inside, with many people, and it seems to be more spacious than the one in Shanghai. There are quite a few people, so it is recommended to visit early.

By baboon |

When walking around Qianmen, people passing by were too tired to walk, but Baboon suddenly saw her and decided to take a look. So, there were photos of her with various celebrities. They look exactly like the real people.

By caochan2008 |

Friends who have been to Shanghai should not go in. First, there is no special feature; second, there are very few wax figures; third, the quality of the wax figures is not good; friends who have not been there, if you don’t want to go so badly, then don’t go. Go to Shanghai if you have a chance. The same price but different visual experience. . . . . .

By 💋Mişṧ媛👑✨💓 |

There were so many people and we only had a quick look at the wax figures of many celebrities.

By With three tables |

I went to Qianmen for a casual stroll before, and I happened to come across the Madame Tussauds wax museum I had always dreamed of! I won’t go into details about the various celebrities, but the key point is that Jay Chou is there! ! ! Feng Xiaogang, Yang Lan, Yang Liwei, Prince William are all very realistic, I recommend it!

Madame Tussauds has been open for a short time and there are still many wax figures inside, some of which are very similar, while others are not quite similar!
