If you don't encounter an accident or traffic jam, it's still an easy drive. Take the West Sixth Ring Road on Fushishi Road and exit at Junzhuang toll station. Turn left at the first traffic light after the toll station and follow the signs to your destination.

If you go to Miaofeng Mountain, there will be a scenic bus from the Apple Garden to pick you up every weekend. It leaves at 8 o'clock and there is only one trip. On weekdays, there is bus No. 892 that leaves from Apple Garden to Jiangou at 9:20 every day. You will arrive at Miaofeng Mountain at about 11 o'clock. There are two buses going down the mountain. This bus will take a rest for a while and then go down the mountain (around 11 o'clock). Another bus will go down the mountain at 4:30 in the afternoon. Accommodation is almost all farmhouses when you walk in from where you get off the bus. The price is similar to that of Shuanglongxia Lingshan, 100 per room on weekends and 50 to 81 per room on weekdays. The room is charged by room, not by person.

It is a famous must-visit place for pilgrims in western Beijing. The scenery changes with each season and is very beautiful, especially in spring and autumn. Miaofeng Mountain is also a stage of the Beijing Cycling Race. The continuous 20km winding climb is daunting for many people.

I rode from Tianjin to Beijing just to climb Miaofeng Mountain. It was the most beautiful time of Miaofeng Mountain, with peach blossoms blooming all over the mountain.

This is another small mountain, comparable to Baiwang Mountain. If you are not too bored or a mountaineering enthusiast, I don't recommend it.
