The Military Museum is open to the public free of charge. You can just get your ticket before going through security. When I went there, the Military Museum opened the first floor and the underground floor. There were not many exhibits on the square at the entrance. There was a row of artillery batteries in front of the building, and there was a missile speedboat on the square next to the old CCTV building. The exhibits in the lobby on the first floor were fighter planes and missiles, and the iconic exhibits were the H-6 and early Dongfeng missiles. The underground floor was mainly tanks and artillery, and there were quite a lot of them. The iconic exhibit was the U2 that was shot down in Jiangxi. Many of the exhibits were weapons and equipment that had left their names in the history of war. They were very representative and covered a full range of military services.

🎈Tickets for the Military Museum must be booked on the official website (***). It is closed on Mondays, and you can enter directly with your ID card after that. If you don’t have a reservation, you can also exchange tickets for free on site with your ID card.

🎈The museum has three floors. The second floor is for guns and is not open to the public. You can only look at them from a distance on the first floor. The first floor is for airplanes ✈, and the underground first floor is for tanks and cannons, all of which are open to the public.

🎈As soon as I entered the gate, I was shocked by the planes ✈. The child stared at them intently and lingered among the various planes. These toys in his hands turned into huge real objects.

🎈Most of them are retired aircraft with mottled fuselages. Imagine that they were full of vigor and vitality when they soared in the sky amidst the hail of bullets. Now they are more like retired veterans with outstanding achievements🏆, silently telling the children the stories of the past.

🎈The underground first floor is tank cannon a.

Visiting the Military Museum in the drizzle (like Xiaoma), parents bring their children to learn more when they visit the Military Museum. It is very convenient to take the subway. Exit A of the Military Museum Station on Line 9 is right there. Tickets can be booked online or exchanged for free on site with your ID card. No matter which one you choose, remember to bring your ID card (love bee)! The thoughtful staff has arranged the tour route for you, just follow it. The venues in front are arranged according to the timeline of the Anti-Japanese War, the Civil War, the National Liberation, the Founding of the People's Republic of China, and major events after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Those who like these contents can understand China's development path more clearly. Now is the 90th anniversary, and the advanced aircraft and cannons seen in the military parade are also displayed in the courtyard. Finally, I saw a "live" one (the little ant who committed lust)

I have been there many times, especially after the renovation, it is very impressive! It is definitely worth a visit for military fans!

The exhibits are rich, the introductions are detailed, and the exhibits are very well maintained.

Unfortunately, only the weapons display on the first floor and the basement floor are open! The pictures and physical exhibition on the second floor are not open, and there is no clear announcement of when they will be open. I asked the waiter and he said it was under renovation! I hope it will be open as soon as possible so that everyone can learn more knowledge!!!

By Clever Inuyasha |

The Military Museum was closed for renovations several times I went there. There were only a few tanks and armored vehicles in the carport. It was finally open. There were so many people in the first few days. We queued outside in the hot weather for more than an hour. The line stretched all the way to the Millennium Monument. My God!

Education is the cheapest national defense, but it is precisely with these powerful weapons that the country can be stable and provide strong support and foundation for the people and society to continue to produce stably. Education and national defense projects complement each other. This is a museum suitable for bringing children. Children are interested in basic national defense education while having fun, which increases the interaction between children and enhances their feelings!

The Chinese People's Revolutionary Military Museum is rich in content, with a wide array of weapons and equipment, from missiles and rockets to various aircraft, and from submarines to torpedoes. There are also achievements and development history of each branch of the military.

Bringing a boy (especially a boy who likes military) here will exceed your expectations! ! Aircraft, warships, bulletproof cars, various guns, cannons, torpedoes, missiles are all available. Although the exhibition hall is not large, it is definitely a paradise for military enthusiasts! ! When I went there, only the first and second floors were open, and the underground arsenal was not open. I didn't see any tanks, which was a pity~~~

A must-visit place for military fans and pseudo-military fans. World War II guns and weapons from all over the world, etc. It's really exciting.

By Jun's promise must be fulfilled |

The exhibition scene inside is very shocking, and there are many varieties. It is worth a visit. You can take your children to see it for a whole day.

Here I remember the older generation of my family. They were volunteers. My great grandfather and my second uncle were martyrs.

This is a microcosm of the military development history of a republic, fully demonstrating the entire process of development, and has certain significance for military fans and patriotic education.

It is the only large-scale comprehensive military history museum in China. It is a very good military science museum and worth a visit.

By Tranquility |

Friends who haven't been there yet should try to go after May 1, 2019, because after asking the staff, I learned that the ancient military will be officially open on May 1st. You're welcome, haha! I can only go again in a few days!

By Eat and Shop |

It's shocking, right? I only saw it on TV when I was a child.

By Crooked seedlings |

I haven't been here for several years. It has been renovated and re-arranged, and the explanations have been increased a lot. It is more magnificent and more humane than before. It's a pity that the second floor is not open yet, and I didn't see any pistols, rifles, submachine guns or machine guns.

By Go your own way |

Tickets are free, and there are all kinds of modern and ancient weapons inside, which is quite informative.

By Big Bad Wolf |

The museum is divided into basic exhibitions and temporary exhibitions. The basic exhibition consists of different theme pavilions, with Chinese military history as the main theme.

By Bright Vision |

As soon as I entered the lobby, I was shocked by the planes I saw. The one that came towards me was the H-6. I hope I’ll see the J-20 next time.

The exhibition hall has convenient services, mobile phone charging and a canteen

When you come to the underground floor, you will see tanks and various combat vehicles, various artillery pieces and mortars, which are worth a good look.

The exhibits in the Military Museum are mostly captured from wars. There are too few domestic exhibits, too old, and no new ones. I hope to see newer weapons next time. The exhibits in the museum lack explanations. It took several years to renovate and cost hundreds of millions. The second floor has not been opened yet, which makes me sad!

By Traveler |

This is a museum under the jurisdiction of the Central Military Commission, which displays weapons and equipment captured from wars of past dynasties and China's own domestically developed weapons.

The Beijing Military Museum is the only comprehensive historical museum in China. The boys are fascinated by the planes, missiles, tanks and torpedoes in the museum. The underground floor is full of various tanks and artillery, and the first floor is full of missiles and planes. The children are obsessed with the things in the exhibition hall and linger.

The subway is very convenient. The Military Museum is free to visit. You can queue up directly and get your ticket with your ID card. It's fast and not crowded.

The first floor of the Military Museum is basically filled with various aircrafts, and the underground floor is filled with various tanks and cannons. Military weapons are beyond my reach, but what surprised me was that a second-grade kid acted as my guide, introducing the basic conditions, usage environments, and battlefield applications of various aircrafts, tanks, and cannons to me in great detail! So interest is the best teacher.

By John_Taylor |

The newly renovated military museum has not yet been fully opened. Currently, only the first floor and the underground floor are displaying various heavy weapons and equipment. As a non-military fan, I just took a quick look and felt like I was watching an exhibition of weapons captured by the Chinese Communist Party.

I visited the museum from Shijiazhuang on May 5, 2018. Only the first floor and the basement floor were open. The first floor was filled with old aircraft and missiles. The basement floor was filled with old tanks and artillery. There was nothing outside. I wanted to see the 99A, DF31, and Z-10, but I didn't see any of them. I was very disappointed.

By Udon Noodles |

Boys love the Military Museum. Dear mothers, the tour guide at the Military Museum is very handsome, haha, tall and handsome. The Military Museum is very large, and it usually takes about four hours to visit. However, kindergarten kids may only be interested in the weapons display on the first floor, second floor and basement floor, and the historical and cultural sections. Kids can't quite understand them yet, so we spent more than two hours visiting the Military Museum.

By Wind╭(╯ε╰)╮ |

I went there on April 15, 2018. Only two exhibition halls on the 1st floor and the basement level were open, and the others were under renovation. The picture below shows a look up at the unopened firearms exhibition hall on the 2nd floor.

As a military fan, I must have been to places like the Military Museum many times. The Military Museum has been closed for renovation for several years. This time it was opened to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the army. There were huge crowds when I went there, and the queues were endless, but it was worth it. The renovated Military Museum gave people a refreshing feeling. Whether you are a military fan or not, you must visit the Military Museum when you come to Beijing.

Summer vacation is not a good time to visit the Military Museum. There are too many people, the ticket collection is slow, and I dare not stay in the square under the scorching sun. The renovation of the Military Museum is not yet completed. Except for the first floor, the rest is not open. Compared with the exhibits of the previous Military Museum, it is really far behind.

Notice. The Military Museum has been renovated and will be open to the public on August 1 next year. Although it is a bit regrettable, my father and I visited the Memorial Hall commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Red Army's Long March. As party members of different periods in China, we were both shocked by the memorial hall, and it should be said that we were shocked by the spirit of the Long March again. Many attractions in Beijing allow reservations and online ticket bookings. When you arrive, you can enter by swiping your ID card. Why can't this be done here? Even if tickets are distributed on site, people have to go through batches to get them. It was hot and stuffy all the way along the line. I got to the line at 8:30 and didn't get the ticket until after 9:00. It was a very bad experience.

The main building of the museum is still undergoing reinforcement. It is estimated that the weight of the planes and tanks stored there before was too heavy and crushed the floor. Now they are placed at the door for visitors to visit. Many people like to see tanks and planes. But what shocked me the most was the Japanese 240mm cannon. It reminded me of the majestic scene in Windtalkers where the US artillery regiment fired n cannons at the same time.
