Nanhaizi Park

南海子公园

Nanhaizi Park is one of the four major suburban parks in Beijing, with a total area of about 11 square kilometers after completion. Located in the northeast of Daxing District, south of the South Fifth Ring Road, between Daxing New Town and Yizhuang New Town, it is the first major ecological project in Beijing to implement the South City Action Plan and is planned to be completed within three years.
Nanhai Zi Park was fully completed in 2012, restoring about 12,000 mu of ecological landscape, of which one-fifth is water surface. It focused on the construction of wetland landscape, royal culture, elk protection, ecological leisure and other functional areas, highlighting the historical and cultural characteristics, and recreating the style of the former royal gardens, making it echo the Olympic Forest Park in northern Beijing and the historical and cultural landscape of the central urban area, becoming another ecological and cultural pearl on the north-south central axis of Beijing.

I went there in winter, it wasn't so nice, it was a little desolate, and when I saw those words in there, I wanted to go back, mainly because it was the wrong season. Then I thought it was not a waste of time, so I searched online and thought there were elks there, so I decided to go and have a look. But after walking around for a long time, I still didn't find any elks. In the end, I could only see an animal running from a distance, which seemed to be the legendary elk. There are still many places I didn't get to visit. The place is actually quite large. I should have a different experience when I go there in another season.

Nanhaizi Park is located near the corner of the fifth ring road in southeast Beijing. It is a large suburban park and a free park. The biggest feature here is that there are many four-legged animals, as well as peacocks, white and black swans, etc. It is a good place for a leisurely stroll.

On a large area of construction waste, sand and wasteland, the beautiful Nanhaizi Country Park was built. It is adjacent to the Elk Park and has beautiful scenery and colorful flowers. Relatively speaking, there are fewer tourists here and parking spaces are easy to find. Unlike the Grand Canal Forest Park, parking is difficult.

Very good, very good! It turned out to be the royal gardens of Ming and Qing dynasties!

The parking lot is a bit messy, but it's free!

The park is free and worth going to. I chose this place because I saw elk by chance.

By Cream Puffs |

It should be a weekend leisure place, with a special feature of an elk garden and a large leisure area.

Located in the suburbs of Daxing District, Beijing, there are crowds of people. If you want to see elk, you have to use eco-friendly vehicles only on Saturdays and Sundays, not as shown in Figure 1. Figure 3 is a nice shot of Yizhuang Cultural Park on a sunny day.

This Nanhaizi Park is too big, with countless gates! I didn't know which gate to go in from, so I parked the car on the side of the road and followed other tourists through a curved iron gate.

After entering the park, it felt like the Olympic Forest Park at my doorstep. Most of the tourists were there for family leisure or hiking. I guess there were no tourists from other places who came here specifically to visit Beijing attractions.

I followed the complicated network of branches to the central lake shown on the map, which made it very difficult to find the car when I came back. (But it seemed that every road was passable).

There are large areas of lotus flowers by the lake, but the light is not ideal and the photos are not very good:

There are many more tourists in Nanhaizi Park than in Beiputuo Film and Television City. Both are boating in the lake, but here there are many boats coming and going, while there are no tourists there. Maybe it is because the attractions here are free?

I walked around for about an hour. I looked at the map and found that I had only visited one tenth of the park! My legs gave out immediately. It happened to be getting darker and darker, and it started to rain. I quickly gave myself an excuse and ran...

Near Huangyi Road in Daxing, the navigation will take you to the south gate of the park. Walking in, you can see the big archway of Nanhai Zi Park. Walking further in, you can see the lake. There is a path around the lake for walking. Walking by the lake, you will feel refreshed immediately.

Although the park is very big, it is the only large park in the entire Yizhuang area, so there are a lot of people. I remember the last time I went there on Labor Day, I drove around Nanhaizi Park but couldn't find a parking space. There were cars from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei nearby, as well as from various provinces and cities. After entering the park, I thought I was out of Beijing. It's not that the people in the park are of low quality, but it's really something I've never seen before. I've been there once, and I really don't dare to go again.

I have been there several times by bike. It is a good place for leisure and entertainment all year round.

Nanhaizi is a relatively large park in the suburbs of Beijing. It is a model park for ecological management. The underground of the park used to be a landfill. The lake is shimmering and the trees are lush. When the weather is warm, you can often see ducks flying around the island in the middle of the lake. They are very cute. It is a good place for running. The basic circle along the lake is about four or five kilometers. The scenery is different every time you go there, especially in clear weather, the sunset is particularly spectacular. There are no buses or subways. It’s okay for nearby residents to go around. It feels too far and there is no need to go to a park specifically.

You can bring your dog, there are a lot of dogs, but you need to bring a leash and take care of the dog's belongings. There are a lot of people camping and picnicking in tents, and there are also children fishing. But you still need to take care of your own belongings and the garbage you produce.

Historically, Nanhai Zi was the largest wetland in Beijing. It was the royal hunting ground of the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and the royal garden of the Ming and Qing dynasties. As early as the Ming Dynasty, "Autumn Wind in Nanyu" was listed as one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of Yanjing" along with Clear Snow on Xishan. Later, it gradually declined into a suburban area with a dirty and poor environment.

The first phase of the Nanhaizi Park Ecological Project started construction in mid-January 2010, including wetland restoration, garbage harmless and resource-based treatment, waterscape and other rural landscape restoration, which have all been completed. On September 26, 2010, the first phase of Nanhaizi Park, located between Daxing New Town, Yizhuang New Town and the central urban area, welcomed visitors. April and May are the best seasons to appreciate peonies.

I once went there with my mother to visit relatives who lived nearby. It was a very relaxing and quiet park with rich plant species. It is very suitable for people who live nearby to stroll around and have a picnic, or for a weekend outing, but it is not suitable for a special visit.

By Chaotianzi |

It's near my home, the scenery is OK. Like all parks, the daytime scenery is not as good as the night scenery, the night scenery is not as good as the rain scenery, and the rain scenery is not as good as the snow scenery. Three points are worth recommending. First, it is quiet. Bring a kettle of hot water, make good tea, set up a tent, sketch and read books are very comfortable. Second, the park does not require tickets, parking is also convenient, suitable for outings. Third, it is rumored that the second and third phases of the project are gradually starting. Looking forward to it, show a few pictures I took

The wetland park in the southern suburbs of Beijing has few free visitors. It faces the Olympic Forest Park in the north and each has its own characteristics. But there are too few people here. At the same time, the national treasure elk is raised here. The living environment of these national treasures is much better than that of zoos or wildlife parks. There are large areas of grassland and rivers as habitats, and they can run freely. At the same time, a large number of wild birds also settle here, presenting a beautiful scene of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

Nanhaizi is a highly recommended country park with a nice environment, a large area, a moderate number of visitors, and most importantly, there is an elk park inside. However, it feels like more and more people know about this place, and the small zoo has become a bit commercialized, with a slightly higher fee, but it is still worth experiencing. It is recommended to drive there by yourself, and you can bring a tent to camp when the weather is good.

The scenery is nice, there are few people, and it is very big ~ you can't finish visiting it in one day haha 😄

By Small loofah |

The park is beautiful, and a few locals walk, fish, and camp here. I saw elks running in the Elk Garden of Nanhaizi Park! I was touched!

By ☞ Tomato you tomato |

The scenery is beautiful, but I didn't see any deer, which made me unhappy. The transportation is convenient and the facilities in the park are relatively complete.

On Sunday, the sun finally came out after a long absence. I suddenly wanted to go out for a walk. Since I had not made any plans, my husband and I got in the car and decided that it was 10 o'clock and it would be too late to go hiking. I saw the Beijing water system on TV a while ago and mentioned Nanhaizi Park. I have always wanted to go there, and today is the right time. I was afraid of traffic jams at the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway checkpoint, so I took the Daguan Expressway and navigated all the way to arrive in 1 hour (starting from Gaobeidian, Hebei). I have to praise the Gaode map here, which is accurate. The parking lot is 5 yuan, not counting the time, which feels so cheap. The water surface inside is very large, the road is very clean, and the environment is very good. You can feel the spring breeze blowing on your face. There are not many people. Many of them are probably nearby residents who are walking briskly. There are also elk gardens and children's playgrounds inside, but we did not go in. We walked around the park, stopped and walked, and it was very pleasant. Maybe Nanhaizi is not very well-known, so there are only local residents. I didn't see any tourist buses, tour groups, etc., which greatly improved the comfort of the tour. According to the introduction, the whole circle is 4.4 kilometers. We strolled around for about 2 hours (I regretted not bringing a camera). It is very suitable for a family. The key is that there is no ticket.

It’s too big and I didn’t have enough time to visit it all. I’ll find time to go there again next time.

It is in Yizhuang Development Zone, close to the city. However, it is more convenient to drive. There are plenty of parking spaces near the entrance of the scenic spot, and you can park anywhere for 5 yuan per car.

The park is quite large and has a nice environment, making it a great place for a walk, a relaxing stroll, and some fun activities. The park is full of pavilions, terraces, and flowers and green grass, making it a great place to see the scenery. There is also a lake, where children will love to fish. There is also an elk park on the west side, which is also great for children to play.

If you are afraid of being tired, you can also rent an electric car in the scenic area, which is suitable for all ages.

I used to live in Daxing Jiugong, and I loved to walk around there when I had nothing to do. After I moved, I haven't been there again, and it's been six or seven years. I used to walk there, but now I drive there and use navigation, but I have to go around several times before I find it. The park seems to have been renovated and divided into many areas, such as water entertainment area, picnic area, etc. Because I drove there, I couldn't find the gate I went to before, and naturally I didn't find the familiar scenes. At that time, you could still see elk, but now they are all surrounded by high iron nets. I went around in a big circle, but I didn't see any elk. But I have to praise the environment of the park. There are too many people on holidays, and people are everywhere. The park does not charge admission, but the parking lot is charged, five yuan per car.

Nanhaizi Park is one of the four major suburban parks in Beijing and the largest wetland park in Beijing. It is located on the south side of the South Fifth Ring Road in the northeast of Daxing District, between Daxing New Town and Yizhuang New Town. The park is large and does not require tickets. There are parking lots at the South Gate and the East Gate. Small cars are 5 yuan per time, unlimited time. The overall construction level of the park is not bad, the management is standardized, the signposts are everywhere, and the rest pavilions and toilets are also reasonably distributed. There are many kinds of birds here. Many photography enthusiasts in Beijing come here to shoot birds. Birds are also accustomed to this kind of shooting. Although the shooting distance is very close, birds still forage leisurely. You can camp in the park. In addition to the special camping area, you can also see some stragglers camping in various corners, but the park broadcast repeatedly reminds you to camp at designated locations. You can go boating in the middle of the lake, and the price is not asked.

A highly recommended place, the scenery is pleasant except in winter. Nanhaizi is so big that it takes a whole day to visit it. In spring, you can see the peonies and peonies in full bloom, in summer, the breeze is blowing and the boats are swaying, and in autumn, the colors are colorful and bright...

Especially if you pass through Nanhaizi, you can reach the Elk Park, which is a happy place for children.

By Stone Spring |

Nanhaizi Park is actually quite good, with a large water surface, and it is also the largest wetland park in Beijing. There is an elk park inside, a paradise for children!

By Angels & Gods |

Nanhaizi Country Park is located to the west of Yizhuang Open Area in Daxing District, Beijing, and is separated from the Deer Park by a wall. The park is not small in size, with fitness hiking trails, boating and paddling lakes, and large areas of lawns and trees. In your spare time, you can take a tent or a two-wheeled vehicle to rest and exercise in the park, and you can also go to the observation deck to watch elk. The park has just been completed and provided to the public, and some service facilities are still being improved. Currently, there is no admission fee, but you must bring your own drinking water and food and protect the environment. The transportation is not very convenient, and the parking lot is very large. Take Metro Line 4 to Yizhuang Special Line and then change to the bus.

It's a good place to take the dog out to play. It's also a good place to go out by yourself. The park is quite large. You can go boating and so on. The only drawback is the restaurant and food. There are many flowers and plants.

We went there on a weekend in the hot sun. It was too hot. The Elk Park is the highlight of the whole park. I thought the deer would hide in the hot sun, but I didn't expect to see so many, including swans and peacocks. Most importantly, there were few people. It was a very satisfying outing (except for the bathroom, which I have never seen more disgusting).

By Jie Niu Er |

Nanhaizi Park is a free park. It is very large and has been merged with the Elk Park. It is a good choice for a spring outing. It is very large and has a viewing platform where you can see elks. If you are lucky, you can see elks playing through the fence around the road. There are many outdoor activities in the park, such as roller skating, kite flying, running (there is a running track), etc. There is a lake in the park where you can see fish and take a boat. Of course, there are wild ducks on the water! You can go for a walk in your spare time. The park facilities are well maintained. Go and have a look when you have time!

Nanhaizi, Daxing District, Beijing, has been well renovated. The water is clean, the water surface is wide, the trees are lush, and the air is fresh.

By ParaGliding |

Walking in this park, I was touched by some of the landscapes ~ I thought ~ I felt regret ~ I had expectations ~

Nanhaizi Elk Park is the first free-range elk nature reserve in my country. Nanhaizi has rich reeds and muddy swamps, which create a good environment for the elk to live and reproduce. In just 8 years, the number of elks in Nanhaizi Elk Park has grown from 20 to more than 200, making it the second largest elk park in the world after Wubang Temple Park. Nanhaizi has begun to restore its unique style.

A very large country park. The current Nanhaizi is only the first phase, and the second and third phases are still under construction. You can see rare elks, and you can also get close to swans, ostriches, wild horses and other animals. A very good place for leisure

I got up early and took the first bus 474 at 6:30. Although the journey was not far, the traffic was not smooth. I changed three buses (474-997-Bus Express 1-453) and arrived at the gate of Nanhaizi Park at 7:40. The round trip fare cost 4 yuan in total, and there was no entrance fee, which was very economical.

Urban life is monotonous and boring, and the polluted air is suffocating. We should go out for a walk often, relax our mood, and return to nature. I feel that Nanhaizi is a piece of pure land in Beijing. It is not so commercial. It is not for business purposes. Instead, it invests in making the environment beautiful and clean. I will come again in the future...

The outer periphery of the Elk Park is Nanhaizi Park, which is also free and covers a large area. If you just want to relax, you can just visit here, which is no different from other parks.

I went to a scenic spot closer to home, Nanhaizi Country Park, and it turned out to be the same person. Let's take a look. The park's landmark building, the big archway.

By Easy life |

Nanhaizi Park is a suburban park that was developed in recent years. It does not require tickets. The park is not small in size, and the water surface accounts for a large proportion of it. The park is shaded by trees and is a good place for walking and exercising. The disadvantage is that there are almost no cultural landscapes, and the largest building complex is occupied by the park management office.

By Meditation |

This is a big park with many varieties of trees and leaves of many colors, including green, yellow, and red. The grass is also gradually turning green. Because this park was built not long ago, the trees here are still very young and most of them need wooden stakes to support them, not to mention the sunshade, so it feels a bit too hot today. If there is a drizzle in the sky, I think it will be very comfortable to walk here.
