The National Art Museum of China is located at No. 1, Wusi Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing. The museum has a beautiful environment. When I went there this time, it happened to be an exhibition of several modern painters from Jiangsu, including Wu Guanzhong's art exhibition. Wu Guanzhong's paintings include oil paintings and drawings. Most of the paintings are fake, and all have his signature and seal. On the 6th floor, there is "Long Live Youth", which shows our bits and pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s. The exhibition time of the art museum is different, and the content of the exhibition is different. If you have a special hobby, please go to the official website to check the works and time of the exhibition.

NAMOC COFFEE is probably the most unique and Nordic coffee shop in Beijing. The coffee shop is located in the courtyard of the National Art Museum of China, which was built in 1958 and is one of the ten major buildings built in the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The main building of the museum is an antique attic with yellow glazed tiles and a large roof. The corridors on both sides of the main entrance are surrounded by bamboo forests on one side and pine trees on the other. There are flowers and plants in the courtyard. After taking two steps, you will see a sculpture hidden in the trees.

NAMOC COFFEE is located on the east side of the main building of the museum. It has a very literary atmosphere and is also a bookstore for small art books and a store for art peripheral products. When you are tired of visiting the museum, you can come in to rest. In addition to drinking coffee and eating a simple meal, you can also buy painting peripherals to take home as souvenirs.

The Nordic decoration style is pleasing to the eye!
The cafe is decorated with Nordic minimalist style tables and chairs, light natural wood flooring, and dotted with green plants of all sizes, making the National Art Museum of China feel otherworldly.

With a huge glass room, it is absolutely sunny!
Because Beijing is located in the north, there are few concepts of sunrooms. However, this cafe in the National Art Museum of China will make your wish come true. The afternoon sun shines through the huge glass curtain wall, making everything become lazy.

The upper and lower floors have a reasonable structure and the three-dimensional space is overwhelming.
The first floor is bright and spacious. The view is pleasing to the eye, the corner is quiet, and the bar is comfortable, each with its own advantages. The second floor is relatively private. With green plants and a large sofa, it is a good place to read or hold a small seminar.

Green plants that are planted according to local conditions make people feel happy.
Whether it is a large fiddle-leaf fig, the leaves reflected by the window, or the succulents on the table, they will make people feel comfortable and at peace.

It's a great place to come every weekend, whether to escape the cold or to cool off.

The art museum is free of charge and no reservation is required. Tickets can be redeemed at the door with valid ID.

There are not many people. Tickets can be booked online or on-site by swiping ID cards. They are all free. There are five floors in total. I may not have found the second and fourth floors because I opened them in the wrong posture. The fifth floor is wood carvings, the third floor is some content from Renaissance Europe, and the first floor is the largest in Chinese style. I am not an art student, so I can't see what the door is. I took a few pictures of the style I like. When I went there, I met a lot of volunteers who gave explanations. The explanations were very in-depth and insightful. They should be at the professor level. The only drawback is that a bunch of people gathered around to listen. If you stand far away, you can't hear it. The lack of speakers also has a certain impact on the inability to hear clearly at a certain distance. If you are not an art lover, you can take a look when you pass by.

There are mainly paintings and some sculptures indoors, and there are also many sculptures in the outdoor courtyard. I came here during the National Day and caught up with a special exhibition of works for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I saw many original versions of famous paintings. The most popular one was the "Father" portrait of an old farmer. Everyone rushed to take pictures and couldn't squeeze in...

On my birthday in 2019, the company organized a team building and we visited the National Art Museum of China. I was fortunate to see the exhibition of Mr. Wu Guanzhong's works. Unfortunately, the company gave us too short a time to visit the museum. I will come again if I have the chance.

The National Art Museum of China is located on Wusi Street in Dongcheng District. It is also the highest palace of the national art museum collection. High-level art exhibitions at home and abroad are often held here. The art works that can be exhibited here are all created by heavyweight masters.

Friends who like art should not miss it. There are many exhibitions inside, and the exhibitions are updated very quickly. The people of the capital are so happy.

Very bad, the museum is full of children, the environment is very noisy, the security personnel have a heavy accent and a bad attitude, and the works are average

Beyond expectations, the influence of art is suitable for walking around in your spare time and appreciating it carefully

It was great, I saw a lot of exhibits, many of which were worth taking pictures of. Especially the shore in the distance, it really inspired my inner emotions.

This trip to Beijing is also for the children to visit museums, to be influenced by them and to stimulate their little brains.
After watching it, I was thinking about it for a long time, and I sighed sincerely - masters like Picasso have rebellious spirits. Without destruction, there is no construction. You must have a revolutionary spirit to break the influence of the so-called masters of the previous generation and break through the shackles of the times in order to establish a school. If you are an obedient child, or if you just follow the trend, you are doomed.

There are not many people in the art museum, and it is free to visit. There are special exhibitions on each floor, which include works by modern and contemporary Chinese artists such as Qi Baishi and Xu Beihong, as well as special exhibitions of foreign oil paintings.

By Martian User|

It's a nice place, but I've only been there once, not only because I don't know much about Chinese painting, but also because the exhibitions were not attractive enough to me. Currently, admission is free and special exhibitions change frequently, so there's still a chance to learn more.

By Hi_Han Qiu|

Free admission, but you need an ID card‼ ️
I saw many serious old people in the museum, fascinated, wise, and lively. In comparison, I was so impetuous that I was ashamed of myself.
The corridor beside the art museum door is so beautiful in the sunset.

The architectural design, appearance and overall style are very simple. It is a good place to cultivate one's temperament. It is not far from Jingshan Park.

I visited during the National Day holiday and was admitted for free with my ID card. There were not many people there when I arrived around noon.
There are two parts of painting exhibition on the first floor:
The first is the Nanjing University of the Arts' Chinese painting and Chinese painting professional achievement exhibition, which is basically an exhibition of Chinese painting, Chinese painting and calligraphy works, mostly works by professors and tutors, and the dates of the works are mostly in recent years. The exhibition hall is spacious and bright, and it is very enjoyable to visit.
The second is the Reform Spring Breeze Exhibition - the name is uncertain, and I am not very interested in it personally. After walking through it, I feel that the purpose is more for publicity than the pursuit of artistic value. There is, however, the original work of "Father".
The third floor is an exchange exhibition in cooperation with the Tate Museum in the UK. The exhibition hall is low and dimly lit. I don’t know if it’s because of the large number of people or the ventilation system, but it’s very stuffy; the works don’t have much distinctive features.
The theme of the fifth floor is sketching and creation.
The sixth floor is the Treasure House, a small exhibition hall with about twenty works, including Qi Baishi's Ink Crab, Xu Beihong's Galloping Horse, Sun Qifeng's White Eagle, etc.
I have visited some famous galleries and art museums in Europe. I sincerely hope that the National Art Museum of China can have more outstanding exhibitions and collect more masterpieces of masters into its treasure house.

I booked three tickets on the official website in advance. I went to the museum today and got the tickets at the door. I can visit for free. Because my child likes to draw, I specially arranged this tour. It happened to be the Polish art exhibition.

By CiCi My Neighbor Totoro |

Highly recommended. If you have more time, please arrange a day to visit the exhibition~~

By 小m |

It is best to make an appointment online in advance to visit the exhibition, so that you can avoid queuing outside the museum. (Specific reservation methods can be found on the official website of the National Art Museum of China.) There were three painting exhibitions, a sculpture exhibition and a photography exhibition in the exhibition hall that day. We visited from about 9 o'clock to more than 12 o'clock. In fact, if you really look at it carefully, it may take most of the day. The exhibition inside makes people feel that the trip is worthwhile.

About two stops east of Jingshan Park is the National Art Museum of my country, the only national museum of plastic arts in China. Although it was built after the founding of the People's Republic of China, its main building with a loft, yellow glazed tile roof and surrounded by corridors and pavilions has a strong ancient charm.
So far, the museum has collected more than 110,000 works of art. Many tourists who come to Beijing, even if they do not go to Jingshan Park, will make a special trip to visit the National Art Museum of China to admire the highest art palace.

For someone who loves art, this is definitely a palace; for someone who loves life, this is definitely a good place to cultivate one's temperament. Walk into the National Art Museum of China and travel in the ocean of art. There are regular exhibitions of works by domestic and foreign masters. Every time you visit the exhibition, you absorb new artistic nutrients, feel the power of the works with your heart, and treasure the beautiful memories here.

My daughter and I were passing by the National Art Museum of China. At first, we didn't know if we could see the exhibition. Out of curiosity, we asked and were told that we could enter directly by swiping our second-generation ID card, but we had to go through security check. On that day, the third and fifth floors were open for visit, and the other floors were being set up for exhibition. We watched a Hungarian contemporary art exhibition. To be honest, I didn't quite understand it, but I still watched it very seriously, trying to feel the artist's artistic conception. The other one was an exhibition of paintings from our country. The painters' works were particularly easy to understand, depicting the lives and labors of ordinary people. They were very vivid and worth seeing. I hope to cultivate my sentiments when I have time.

It’s a palace of art, but I can’t quite appreciate it and can’t drive it. But since I’m here, it’s nice to go and take a look at it, it’s such elegant art!

The National Art Museum of China is a very good art museum in China. The exhibitions it hosts are all very good. However, if you are unlucky, you may encounter the exhibition hall being set up, so you can check the exhibition information on the official website in advance and pay attention to the exhibition time. You don’t need to make an appointment for tickets in advance to enter the door, you just need to take your ID card to the door to exchange for tickets.

By Cayla's mom |

My friend and I were shocked when we entered the museum hall. There was a row of people doing security checks. . . . .
Porcelain panel paintings have a strong sense of three-dimensionality.

By I am Jiang Xiaopang |

It was worth the trip. Seeing those works of art was both an artistic enlightenment and a beautiful enjoyment. Some paintings were very large, some had breathtaking colors, and some were stunning. The shock of seeing them in person was definitely not something you could experience from looking at photos.

By Kirikukyaku |

There aren't many people there, I've been there many times, the exhibitions change frequently, it's definitely worth going.

By Nanfeng|

The art gallery is very large and houses a large collection of paintings, calligraphy, photography, etc., including some solo exhibitions, which take about two hours to view.

By Nanshan|

From the name, it is a national art museum, which has a collection of more than 100,000 pieces of various art works, mainly works from the period before and after the founding of New China. This time I went to see "Beauty in the New Era" - a special exhibition of fine works from the collection of the National Art Museum of China to celebrate the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Beijing is Beijing. Art galleries and museums are my first choice! On the day I arrived at the art gallery, the fifth floor happened to be displaying works by famous artists such as Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, and Fu Baoshi. What a surprise! However, I don’t quite understand the calligraphy exhibition on the third floor, but it looks very tasteful. During the exhibition, I saw many parents bringing their children to visit, and people who seemed to be art professionals talked about a certain painting or different works of a period. I admired them infinitely in my heart, and I imagined that I could bring my children to visit and explain in the future. There were also many elderly people holding sketchbooks to copy the works of famous artists. I was impressed by the cultural atmosphere of the capital, so I left this comment!

The National Art Museum of China is the best art museum in China. It has a rich collection of works and often holds art exhibitions. It is free to visit with your ID card, but please note that it is closed on Mondays.

[Art Museum East Station] After getting off the bus and trying to figure out the direction, we finally arrived at the National Art Museum of China. We exchanged our tickets and checked our backpacks at the entrance. In the huge courtyard, there were only two of us except for the staff (well, the staff here are all young girls who speak softly and are very beautiful and elegant. Are they from colleges or art students❓)
I really like this building, it's very special, I took a photo of it (well, very reluctantly, it was really too hot)
There were not many visitors in the art museum, and it was quiet. There were students and scholars who observed carefully and took photos one by one. There were also parents who brought their children, and most of them were art lovers.
My favorite are two works (from an art exhibition in Lithuania). The colors, tones, and layout are all great. The effect of the photos taken with a mobile phone is much worse than the actual situation, but I still want to keep a souvenir.

Free entry with ID card, ordinary people also want to get close to art~

By yuaryant |

So magnificent, amazing China.
The tickets are free and you can get them with your ID card. It will be more convenient to visit if you deposit your bag at the gate. My bag is too heavy and I feel like I would be exhausted if I carried it in.
The artists in our country are really amazing. Even the draft process diagrams are amazing. I am proud of the profoundness of Chinese culture.

The building of the art museum is an ancient loft-style building with a large yellow glazed tile roof, which is very ethnic. The lighting and wall colors in the museum are very impressive, which can calm your restless heart. The museum ticket is free, but it is not free. You can book tickets online in advance and pick up the tickets directly when you go.

By Uaena Xiao |

There are few people and many exhibits. It is worth savoring them carefully during your leisure time.

By Manman|

The museum's collections are absolutely representative of the national level. Some of them are not only fine arts, but also folk art.

By what's the fun|

As a programmer with little artistic talent, I still recommend going here. Tickets are free and can be booked online in advance, or you can pick up tickets on site with your ID card. Because it was the weekend when I went, there were many tourists, but the exhibition hall was very quiet, and it was not particularly noisy because of the large number of people. If you are lucky, you will meet a guide. When I went there, I met a guide of New Year paintings, who explained the origin and production methods of New Year paintings, etc. I felt that I benefited a lot. It is also a wonderful feeling to see the environment in which the author was at the time and the thoughts he wanted to express through the works. I remember that there is a painting called Horror on the third floor. Before I saw the name of the painting, I felt that the painting was so scary. There was no blood, but it gave me such a direct impact. Because I am not an art lover, I also watch people in my spare time when I look at paintings. I watch the children who are forced by their parents to come here to draw sketches, and I remember myself who had to go to cram school on weekends when I was a child. Looking at the gray-haired aunt with a backpack, I feel that age can't actually stop me. Seeing couples and people visiting the exhibition alone, everyone is living in different ways, but they are all living in the way they like. I digress, the art museum is really worth visiting. It closes at 5pm. If you still want to go, you can go out and turn right to Nanluoguxiang for a stroll. Yandaixie Street and Shichahai are all there.

I went to the National Art Museum of China in January and was exhibiting the works of Spanish surrealist painter Eduardo Naranjo. Naranjo has achieved great success in oil painting, sketching and printmaking. His painting style can be roughly divided into two stages: in the 1970s and 1980s, his works mainly expressed illusion realism with a strong surrealistic meaning, while after the 1990s, his style was surrealism, and his works became pure and transparent, with strong symbolic meanings in the "reality". Naranjo's exhibition of flowing light and color held at the National Art Museum of China is Naranjo's first comprehensive painting art exhibition in China. Many of his works look like they are separated by a layer of glass or in the reflection of the glass, which is virtual and real, like a dream or reality. The same is true of his printmaking style, which is clearly layered and shows a strong sense of movement, and seems to be able to show the time-lapse and multiple exposure of photography, which is completely different from the Chinese printmaking style.
There is also an exquisite thangka exhibition. Thangka is a unique painting art in Tibetan culture, with distinct national characteristics, strong religious colors and unique artistic style. It depicts the sacred world of Buddha with bright colors. The pigments used to draw thangkas are precious mineral gems such as gold, silver, pearls, agate, coral, turquoise, malachite, cinnabar, and plants such as saffron, rhubarb, and indigo to show their sacredness. These natural raw materials also ensure that the thangkas are bright and dazzling, and can remain unchanged for hundreds of years. The process of drawing thangkas is extremely complicated and demanding, and it takes as short as half a year and as long as more than ten years. Therefore, thangkas are treasures of Chinese national painting art and precious intangible cultural heritage of the Tibetan people.

Whether you are a professional, an art lover, or just looking for a place to relax, the National Art Museum of China is a good choice. The antique attic, covered with glazed golden tiles, is a very conspicuous building, but there are few people. It has been low-key on Wusi Avenue for more than 50 years. The museum will regularly change the theme exhibition, from modern to contemporary, from China to the world, regardless of time and borders, from inside to outside is full of art style. The most important thing is that the ticket is free! It is closed on Mondays. From Tuesday to Sunday, you can get the ticket for the day with your ID card, from 9 am to 5 pm, but you can no longer get the ticket after 4 pm.
The transportation is also very convenient. You can take bus 103 or 111 to the Art Museum, which is the most convenient. You can take bus 104 or 108 to the Art Museum North, where you can also visit Sanlian Bookstore, which is not far from the station. You can also take bus 109, 101 or 112 to the Art Museum East, which are a little further away. If you take the subway, take Line 6 to Dongsi, which is no more than 10 minutes' walk.
After being influenced by art, if you want to go around, you can go west to the Red Building of Peking University, which is now a memorial hall of the New Culture Movement; further west is Jingshan Park, opposite is the Forbidden City, and to the west is Beihai Park. If the weather is good, it is recommended to walk there, as the Forbidden City is usually very crowded.
If you want to eat nearby, it is recommended to take a bus to Dongsi Road intersection and walk north. There are some unique small restaurants in the alleys over there that you can try.

China National Art Gallery is a place where Chinese and world art works are gathered. Visiting the exhibitions there often makes me linger and wander in the ocean of art. It is a place worth visiting often.

The National Art Museum of China is probably the oldest museum in Beijing. I remember going to the museum often when I was a kid, when there was no National Art Museum. The Baihua Art Store opposite the museum is also an old brand, but for some reason it left me with an impression that it was expensive.

[Location] Near Dongsi, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from Dongsi subway station to cross an intersection, but there is also a bus stop in front of the art museum, but there are not many routes

[Ticket] Free, you can get the ticket with your ID card, and you can also make an appointment. Because there are not many people on weekdays, you don’t need to make an appointment. I don’t know why there are so many people when I go to the National Sketch Exhibition on National Day. It seems that I really can’t leave the house on National Day.

[Environment] The museum is not big, but if you want to see more exhibitions, it will take most of the day. I used to like to go to the store in the atrium to buy popsicles, but I didn't go this time because it rained. I don't know if the atrium is still there. It has become a memory。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。

[Exhibits] Since the museum is aimed at fine arts, some of the exhibitions are quite good. This time there are sketch exhibitions and solo exhibitions (these exhibitions should have ended when I wrote the review, you can go to the official website of the National Art Museum of China to check what exhibitions are available.) The quality is still good

By Dolma Lhamo |

It is open to the public free of charge. You can exchange a visiting ticket at the entrance with your ID card. The museum holds some art exhibitions from time to time. On the day we went, there were oil painting exhibitions, print exhibitions, calligraphy exhibitions, and an exhibition of Guizhou Miao people's backpack embroidery. The quality was very good. We went there during the Mid-Autumn Festival. There were not many people. Everyone was dispersed. The environment was good and very quiet. We also saw many people copying works here. Since the exhibits are not fixed, you can go there often and you will have new feelings every time you go. Visitors can only visit the 1st to 3rd floors. You can take the stairs or take the elevator. The 4th floor and above are office areas, which are not open to the public. The toilets are also very clean

By Yeni North City |

Because I studied art before and I like painting, I always wanted to go and see it. The exhibition was very rich, but there were always some tourists who kept taking pictures and making loud noises, showing worrying qualities, which reduced the effect of the exhibition.

The National Art Museum of China offers free admission with ID cards. When I went there, there was a comic book exhibition in the fifth floor, which was great. There was also an exhibition of the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting downstairs, so it is very suitable for those who are interested to visit.

The weather in Beijing was so good during the National Day holiday that I couldn't help but go out to play. The museum exhibitions were mainly modern works, but they were still worth seeing! The Biennale exhibited during the National Day holiday had many interesting domestic and foreign paintings and sculptures, including works of art from China, Southeast Asia, Ecuador, Chile, South Africa, Canada and other countries. The museum is relatively large and not crowded. There is a place at the main entrance where you can exchange tickets with your ID card or valid documents. Security checks are required to enter the museum.

The National Art Museum of China is located in the old city of Beijing, near Dongsi. The building of the National Art Museum of China is huge, with a sense of beauty of that era. The architectural structure of the museum is Soviet-style, giving people a very spacious feeling. The museum is divided into many areas according to the type of artwork. Many Chinese paintings and oil paintings are world-class, which we have only seen in textbooks. Especially the oil paintings, the works of the boss and his father are shocking and realistic, and the details are very clear. Looking at those paintings, it has gone beyond appreciating the artwork itself, but appreciating their spirit for art. The museum is free, but sometimes there are some temporary exhibitions and fees. There is parking in the courtyard of the museum, and the subway and bus can also reach the museum.

I went to the art museum to get a ticket and visit for free. I admired the calligraphy and paintings and watched a documentary. The master painted with his heart. In the eyes of the artist, everything is alive, including ordinary stones. I am not an artist, but I also feel that life is a miracle and everything I see is a landscape.

By Xiaobaifeiyubai|

In Beijing, you can feel the rich calligraphy culture. From the Great Hall of the People to youth hostels and restaurants, you can see calligraphy works everywhere. As soon as you enter the gate, you will see a whole wall of cursive script. After visiting the whole museum, you will find that most of the content is calligraphy, and only three or four halls are oil paintings and landscape paintings. The most impressive one is a painting of stones, which is very realistic. The point is that he actually abstracts his thoughts and feelings into stones, and uses stones to express different themes.

My father's favorite is the National Art Museum of China. He has been here almost eight times and still doesn't get tired of it. His reason is that the exhibitions are different every time.

The national-level exhibition is indeed much more exciting than the exhibits in the Wuhan Art Museum.

The National Art Museum of China is a national museum of plastic arts that focuses on collecting, researching and displaying Chinese modern and contemporary art works. The Beauty in the New Era exhibition is a special exhibition of the collections of famous painters held to celebrate the convening of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which is worth seeing.

There are so many good books. There are small benches next to many counters where you can sit and read. Some people sit on the stairs. Anyway, it is a comfortable shop. Because of the weight, I only picked the ones I liked. If you can take them home, it is still a good idea to buy more.

I can’t and dare not say that I understand art. I just simply like it, I like beauty, I like different expressions, and I like quiet places where I can appreciate thoughts and inspirations…

On 27/27/2014, I went to an art museum for the first time. The main reason was the exhibition of paintings by Zhang Daqian. Although I couldn’t understand them, I was inspired by them.

The National Art Museum of China is very big. If you want to appreciate it carefully, it will take at least 2 hours. There are many exhibitions inside. Art lovers should not miss it.
The National Art Museum of China is easy to find. Just walk north along Wangfujing Pedestrian Street for about two kilometers. When you come to a large crossroads, turn left and walk a few dozen meters. It is very big inside. It was a Monday when I went there, so there were not many people. However, I happened to encounter a calligraphy exhibition, which was a feast for the eyes. The ticket is free. You only need to show your ID card to register and you can get the ticket. . . . I have always thought that the National Art Museum of China is a very high-end place. If you are not a student of the Academy of Fine Arts, you would be embarrassed to go in. Therefore, I have never included it in the list of attractions I want to visit. But one day, I heard that Zhu Jun from CCTV was holding a painting exhibition there, so we rushed there to join in the fun. The National Art Museum of China is free but not ticket-free. You need to book a ticket online in advance and pick up the ticket with your ID card. There are 3 floors of exhibition halls in the art museum (on the 1st, 3rd and 5th floors respectively). When we went there, in addition to Zhu Jun’s exhibition, there were also exhibitions by Russian people’s painter Vasily Nesterenko and others. Although we couldn’t fully appreciate the essence of art, it is much better to go there when you have nothing to do than to browse Weibo at home~~

You need to make an appointment online and pick up the ticket on site. The modern installation art in the National Art Museum of China is quite impressive.

There are not many people, and you can exchange tickets with your ID card. In addition to regular art exhibitions, there are also irregular exhibitions of paintings, etc. It is the best choice for those who like art to see art exhibitions.

Basically, exhibitions at the National Art Museum of China are free.
Coming here again, the cultural atmosphere is still very strong.
I have always loved the exhibitions at the National Art Museum of China. I would come whenever I had time during my time in Beijing.

Many paintings are stored in the warehouse, which is a bit stingy. There are not many on display. I hope to have more.

Tickets to the art museum are free with valid ID, and there seem to be volunteers giving free tours and explanations every hour, but we thought there were too many people, so we decided to just appreciate the collections by ourselves.
The National Art Museum of China’s collections are mostly modern and contemporary, and are basically paintings, as well as prints, sculptures, and so on.
