中国国家博物馆

The total building area is nearly 200,000 square meters, and the number of collections is more than 1 million. It is the largest museum in the world. The museum is divided into five floors and has a total of 48 exhibition halls. It is one of the museums with the richest collection of Chinese cultural relics. The exhibition system consists of basic exhibitions, special exhibitions, international exchange exhibitions and temporary exhibitions, covering all stages from ancient times to the present.

The National Museum displays the country's treasures and cultural relics in chronological order from bottom to top. The most worth seeing is the "Ancient China Exhibition" on the first underground floor, where you can see many cultural relics that appear on the covers of history books, such as the Four-Ram Square Tripod and the Houmuwu Tripod, which are the treasures of the National Museum. If you are interested in modern China, you may want to go upstairs. The central hall on the first floor displays a large number of art works. Among them, the well-known oil painting "The Founding Ceremony of the Nation" is among them. Of course, there are also many permanent exhibitions such as bronzes, jades, coins, porcelains, and Buddha statues.

By the fat man who eats and walks around|

The most real feeling after visiting the National Museum is that the exhibition hall is really very large, and there are so many exhibits. Here you can see many national treasures that you have seen in history textbooks before. The museum is divided into five floors, with a total of 48 exhibition halls. The exhibition hall area is very large, and there are many exhibits, including rare national treasures. It takes at least a day to look through the entire National Museum. It is not only a brainstorming to learn knowledge, but also a physical test just to walk all the way.
Just a reminder, you are not allowed to bring selfie sticks in. It costs 2 yuan to deposit selfie sticks, but because there were too many people depositing them, they were thrown away.
Because I was in a hurry, I didn't watch the Road to Revival. I mainly watched ancient Chinese history. I personally prefer the artifacts from the Shang and Zhou dynasties and the pre-Qin era. They feel so mysterious. More importantly, there are many high-level guides in the National Museum. It is very informative to listen to them. Even my daughter is very interested.

You need a ticket to visit the National Museum. The ticket is free. You can enter the museum by exchanging your ID card. There are so many people~~~ Sometimes the National Museum holds special exhibitions. The time we went there happened to encounter the British Museum cultural relics exhibition. We were so lucky! There are many rare cultural relics in the National Museum. It is strongly recommended that you ask for an explanation if possible. The visiting experience will be much better. We should go again if we have the chance.

As China's leading museum, it has very strict security checks. The entire museum displays classic cultural relics from various dynasties. Cultural relics that we saw in textbooks when we were in school: the Changxin Palace Lantern, the Sanxingtala Jade Dragon, the Houmuwu Ding (originally called the "Simuwu Ding" in textbooks), etc., are all clearly displayed in front of us.
It is recommended to reserve at least one day in the museum, walk slowly and take a look. From primitive society to the Republic period, the essence of every period of history is reflected in the museum!

The queues to enter the National Museum are getting longer and longer. The National Museum of China has nearly 6,000 national first-class cultural relics with high historical, scientific and artistic value. From the exquisitely carved first jade dragon of China in the Hongshan culture, the majestic Houmuwu Ding and Four Sheep Square Zun in the late Shang Dynasty, the Li Gui with the inscription of King Wu's conquest of Shang, to the humorous and vivid pottery figurines of drums and raps in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the three-color camel-carrying music figurines reflecting the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and the splendid bronze and porcelain from the Shang, Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasties to the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the excellent traditional Chinese culture is here to continue and pass on from generation to generation. The National Museum is free to visit with valid certificates.

The museum opens at 9 o'clock. I personally think this is a must-see. The exhibits are very rich, and you can see 5,000 years of history here. Many of them are authentic!
If you come to Beijing, you must visit the National Museum. It is indeed a rich cultural and historical journey, which broadens your horizons, increases your knowledge and settles your mind. It is definitely worth the trip to visit here, and I highly recommend it!
Recommended order of visiting the National Museum: the first and second underground floors are about ancient China, and the first and second above ground floors are about the road to rejuvenation.
There are many commemorative coin vending machines in the National Museum, with coins costing twenty or thirty yuan each. Since I am interested in history, I bought two commemorative coins.

I have always been interested in my country's ancient cultural treasures. If you miss the Forbidden City, it is a good choice to come to the National Museum! It is definitely the best choice to go to the National Museum on weekdays. If you must go on holidays, you must go early! It opens at 9 o'clock, and there is already a long queue at the door at 8:50. After entering the museum, we went straight to the underground first floor.
It happened that the museum offered a lecture during the Spring Festival. Our tour guide was Mr. Mei Songsong, a very good tour guide. The lecture started on time at 9:15. Because there were so many people, the lecture was relatively short, only a little over an hour.

The National Museum usually has a large number of exhibits covering a wide range of topics. This year, the National Museum has opened a special theme exhibition to commemorate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. If you want to see the changes after reform and opening up, you can visit the exhibition from 9 am to 5 pm every Tuesday to Sunday. But you must enter before 3:30 pm. After 3:30 pm, admission is closed. The most important thing is that the ticket is free~

We went to the National Museum in the afternoon. Although it was free, we still felt that it was inappropriate to go there, and even a bit of a loss. When planning the trip to Beijing, I heard that this museum had a huge number of exhibits, and the number of exhibits from all over the country was extremely impressive. This time I should be able to feast my eyes, and it was free. Unexpectedly, this year is the 40th anniversary of the country's reform and opening up. In order to commemorate this, the National Museum displayed the achievements since the reform and opening up, and other exhibits were not open to the public and hidden. This is also a big shortcoming of our trip to Beijing.

The basic display of ancient China is probably the largest display in the National Museum. It lists cultural, political, economic and other related products of dynasties from ancient times to the Qing Dynasty.
Many illustrations in history textbooks come from here. Many original objects can finally be seen here. After a long wandering, the encounter is finally here. One is the echo of hundreds or thousands of years, and the other is the lingering thoughts about these cultural relics for more than ten years.

When you come to the National Museum, you can't miss the Houmuwu Ding. There is really nothing to see in the Houmuwu Ding. It's ugly and not aesthetically pleasing. But it is a symbol, symbolizing the ancient copper smelting technology, the maturity and brilliant peak of bronze smelting and forging. Although the National Museum does not require tickets, it is very strict. Water, selfie sticks, controlled knives, etc. cannot be brought in, all liquids are not allowed. Don't worry, there is a water dispenser in the National Museum. Just in case, you can bring a cup to drink water. For bags and items that are inconvenient to bring in, you can store them. Before entering the hospital, you can see the place to store luggage. It's free! Just go out and pick it up with the number. The National Museum is a physical work. After 4 hours of strolling, you just walk from ancient China to modern times. Friends who are ready to have a good time can bring some small biscuits, Snickers, candies, etc. to fill their stomachs.
The National Museum is really a place that boys like to go to. There are many young men in it. They talk eloquently while watching and learn a lot.

(Book tickets in advance, time: 1 hour): When I went there, I happened to catch up with the China Centennial Master Exhibition, which exhibited the manuscripts and works of 43 Chinese literary and artistic masters, such as Lao She's manuscripts/Xu Beihong and Qi Baishi's paintings, etc. It is worth seeing! At the same time, there was also the Qin and Han Civilization Exhibition, which exhibited some cultural relics from the Qin and Han dynasties. I saw several familiar exhibits in it, all of which I had seen when visiting museums in Xi'an. It felt very wonderful. You must not miss the Simuwu Ding (Hou Muwu Ding) when you go to the National Museum. I have only seen it in textbooks before. Seeing the real thing will give you a very special feeling, which is probably what my partner said about the feeling of being close to art. After visiting the entire museum, I have been sighing that the National Museum is worthy of being the National Museum. The exhibits inside are indeed very exquisite, and the content is also the ancient art that I like.

By Little Stone|

The National Museum of China offers free tickets and free vouchers by swiping your ID card. The statue of revolutionary heroes is right at the entrance, and it really deserves to be placed at the top of the museum. Without them, there would be no New China, no peaceful life for our young generation today, and no increasingly powerful Chinese nation.
The display of ancient Chinese culture inside is not as good as that of Shaanxi History Museum.
The first exhibition hall on the left side of the museum is the American-style exhibition hall. It is truly dazzling and one cannot help but admire the wisdom of Chinese artists.
The National Museum of China houses collections on the history of the development of the Chinese nation, from the evolution of bronze ware to the evolution of ancient coins and the development of porcelain. All the exquisite, profound and subversive works are concentrated here.

Although it is free, you need to make an appointment in advance. Follow the prompts on the official account.
It is probably difficult to make an appointment on weekends. There are too many treasures inside, so tourists can only take a quick look.
There are simple snacks such as sandwiches, and a rest area, which is more user-friendly.

The National Museum of China, abbreviated as NMB, is located on the east side of Tiananmen Square in the center of Beijing, symmetrical from east to west with the Great Hall of the People. It is the highest historical, cultural and art palace representing the country in collecting, researching, displaying and interpreting representative evidence of Chinese culture. It has the important mission of preserving the collective memory of the nation, inheriting the national cultural genes and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. It is also the national cultural living room.
The predecessor of the National Museum of China can be traced back to the Preparatory Office of the National Museum of History established in the first year of the Republic of China (1912); in 2003, the National Museum of China and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution merged to form the National Museum of China; in 2012, the National Museum of China was renovated and expanded and officially opened to the public. The new building retains the west, north and south facades of the original old building, with a total land area of 70,000 square meters, a building height of 42.5 meters, 5 floors above ground, 2 floors underground, 48 exhibition halls, and a construction area of nearly 200,000 square meters. It is the largest museum in the world with a single building area. The National Museum of China has more than 1.43 million collections, covering ancient cultural relics, modern and contemporary cultural relics, artworks and other categories, including oracle bones, bronzes, porcelain, jade, gold and silver wares, coins, Buddhist statues, rare ancient books, rubbings of inscriptions and calligraphy, epitaphs, seals, calligraphy and paintings, sculptures, lacquered wood furniture, bricks and tiles, stone carvings, enamelware, glassware, silk fabrics, handicrafts, old photos, ethnic cultural relics, folk cultural relics, revolutionary cultural relics, etc.
On November 1, 2012, the National Museum of China was rated as a "National First-Class Museum" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage; at the end of 2021, according to the "2020 Global Theme Park and Museum Index Report", the National Museum of China ranked second in the world.

The National Museum of China is open from 9:00 to 17:00 every day (no admission at 16:00). It is closed on Mondays (except holidays). Reservations are required to visit! In 2003, according to the decision of the Central Committee, the National Museum of China and the Museum of the Chinese Revolution were merged to form the National Museum of China. There are 2 underground floors and 5 above-ground floors. It will take 3 days to visit in detail!

The admission ticket to the National Museum is booked through the online public account. When booking, you need to set the date of visit and the time of entry. There are also staff and volunteers on site to help visitors who come to the museum without an appointment to make an on-site appointment, but this must be when the number of online appointments has not reached the limit. To be honest, the museum is not a place where you can "enter" just by "entering", otherwise you can only take a quick look and join in the fun. The main theme of this period (May 13 to August 11, 2019) is "The Great Beauty of Asia--Asian Civilization Exhibition". More than 400 precious cultural relics from more than 40 Asian countries and the two ancient civilizations of Greece and Egypt gathered in the National Museum of China, like a civilization appointment across time and space.

The National Museum of China began to implement a real-name reservation mechanism for all visitors (in different time periods) on April 8, 2019, with a daily reservation limit of 30,000 people, until the quota is full. Let me elaborate on the following points:

1. National Museum Reservation Time:

1. Individual visitors: reservations must be made 1-5 days in advance. There are three reservation periods each day: 9:00-11:30, 12:30-14:00, and 14:00-16:00. The number of reservations for each period is 10,000 (including 8,000 individuals and 2,000 groups);

2. Group visitors: You can make an appointment 2-7 days in advance. When applying for an appointment, you need to provide a social unified credit code (original organization code) and it will be approved before you can make an appointment. After a successful appointment, the system will automatically send a successful appointment message to the group leader's mobile phone. Please keep it properly. The number of people in a group is limited to 15-200 people per batch. Each group can make a maximum of three appointments on the same day.

2. There are three ways to make reservations at the National Museum: reservations on the official website, reservations via WeChat, and reservations via mobile phone text messages.

1. The official website reservation entrance URL is: ***;

2. WeChat reservation: Follow the "National Museum" official account on WeChat, and click "I want to come" below to enter the reservation interface;

3. Personal visit reservation by SMS:

① Mobile, Unicom and Telecom users can make reservations via SMS. Edit the text message "Y 4-digit visit date (2-digit month, 2-digit date) valid ID name" and send it to 10660208. For example, if Zhang San makes an appointment to visit on May 1, edit "Y0501 Zhang San" and send it to 10660208 (please note the uppercase and lowercase letters. Valid IDs include: ID card, driver's license, passport, officer ID, soldier ID, primary and secondary school student ID);

② Each time you send a text message, you will get a reservation code, which can be exchanged for a visit ticket. The platform operator will charge a message usage fee of 1 yuan per message. The platform operator’s customer service phone number is: 010-88551735 / 4006509601;

③ The reservation code is only valid on the day of the reservation. It will be invalid if forwarded or expired. The reservation code will be invalid after receiving the visit ticket.

④How to redeem free admission tickets: Collection time: 9:00 – 15:30 on the day of the visit, Collection location: Beijing Ticket Service Center of the National Museum of China, Information to be provided: You must provide the reservation code, the mobile phone number used for the reservation, and the visitor’s valid ID card;

I discovered another treasure in Beijing! Even if I rented an audio guide and carefully visited it, it would take me three full days to finish the tour. This place broadened my knowledge and rekindled my curiosity about the world! I will come again!
Note:
It's cold inside the museum, so it's recommended to wear long sleeves
There are no headphones for audio playback, so it is recommended to bring your own. You need 140 yuan in cash (40 of which is for rent). There will be free guides at around 9 am
You can only bring small bags, large bags need to be stored
No tripods or selfie sticks
If you plan to visit for a day, you can have lunch in the restaurant inside, or you can bring your own dry food.

By Pi Xiaoqiu|

Be sure to book your tickets online in advance, otherwise you will have to queue up like in the picture.
Sunscreen spray is not allowed to be brought into the museum, nor can it be stored!!! I brought sunscreen spray (the sun in Beijing was still very strong in early October), but I had to throw it into the trash can, otherwise I couldn't get in.
Flashlights, selfie sticks and tripods are not allowed in the museum. If I remember correctly, selfie sticks are not allowed in and must be deposited.
There are many large exhibition halls in the National Museum. It is recommended to check the official website in advance and visit selectively according to personal preferences, otherwise you may not be able to see them all in one day.
It is recommended to download the explanation or rent an explanation device or listen to the explanation by volunteers. Historical things are more interesting with the explanation.
Remember to bring some food and water, after all, you can't finish visiting the National Museum in a short time.

The National Museum is very large, and if you want to visit it properly, you may not have enough time for a whole day. The National Museum of Chinese History has now been renamed the National Museum of China. What a pity, I don't remember anything I saw there. The only things I remember are the Simuwu Ding and the Four Sheep Square Tripod, which are in the textbooks. The Simuwu Ding is now called the Houmuwu Ding, the largest bronze vessel in the world, and the Four Sheep Square Tripod is the largest bronze square tripod in the Shang Dynasty. I can say that I have no interest in "museums", otherwise how could this happen? Besides, I forgot whether you can take pictures in the museum, and even if you can, I won't use the expensive film on the cultural relics.

Every year, the National Museum of China launches different special exhibitions. It is also one of the museums with the most foreign exchange exhibitions so far. The solemn and dignified appearance faces the Great Hall of the People opposite. As expected of a national museum, this building is much larger than I thought. It is open to the public for free. There are a lot of people queuing up, but the ticket checking is very fast. However, it is best to reserve a day to visit.
It mainly consists of two themes, the Road to Rejuvenation and Ancient China. You can choose which one to read first based on your interests, both are worth it.

To visit the National Museum, you need to make an appointment online in advance, or you can go and queue up directly. I didn't know how to make an appointment, so I quickly queued up and swiped my ID card to enter the museum. The museum is very large, with many places suitable for taking photos. The National Museum displays the Road to Rejuvenation, the founding of New China, etc. What impressed me most was seeing the exhibition on Yang Liwei, which brought tears to my eyes. He is a hero in peacetime, just like the heroes in war, who left without knowing whether they could come back. This kind of great love, this kind of meaninglessness, deserves to be remembered and admired!

By China-TravelNote user|

Make an appointment on the website in advance. Children under 12 years old do not need to make an appointment. Just swipe your ID card when you enter. There are many cultural relics in the National Museum. It really takes a day to visit. We were exhausted after visiting for four or five hours.

The best historical museum in China. I think it's very good.

By let go |

It is a new member of the Chinese museum family (it only opened in March 2011), but once established, it has become a leader in the museum world: it can hold any type of exhibition at will (when the leader gives an order, everyone in the world can respond), and what is really gratifying is that the exhibitions here are constantly changing, always making you want to visit. And what you see is either a national treasure or of extraordinary historical value, so you will never waste your time.
The large-scale exhibition "The Road to Revival" that just opened may be a permanent exhibition that will never be removed. The memorial submitted by Lin Zexu to the emperor after the destruction of opium in Humen is very exciting to read.

We chose to scan the pedals of the yellow bikes and parked them in the alleys... We walked through the underground passage to the National Museum... There were crowds of people queuing for security checks... And the police were checking ID cards at any time. The museum was about to close at 4:30, but luckily we had screening... We went straight to the target and finished the three exhibitions, which were also about to close. 1 The Ancient China Exhibition is on the underground first floor (arranged in order of dynasties, with explanations, very, very worth savoring slowly) 2 The African Sculpture Art Exhibition is on the third floor (the mysterious cultural veil is worth unveiling) 3 Australian Bark Painting Art (I also encountered it by chance and it happened to be exhibited in the National Museum. I couldn't understand the content and could only understand the text introduction). I really think that the National Museum should be visited carefully. It is worth a visit and you can stay for a day. Due to time constraints... we could only take a quick look...

After breakfast, I headed straight to the National Museum. As soon as I got out of the subway, I found it was crowded with people. According to my friend's experience, I followed the crowd inside and it wouldn't take long to enter the museum.

Warm reminder, you must make an appointment one day in advance. Then you will go through a very strict security check. You are not allowed to take any dangerous goods, lighters, fruit knives, or selfie sticks.
In addition, many people follow the crowd...

This is just a piece of crap. Just take a look at it from outside. It's the content in the history books of junior high school, high school and university.

Promise me, you must go, you must go! If there is anything that makes me want to go to Beijing again! Then the National Museum is definitely the first! The place that still haunts my dreams, the National Museum of China does not require tickets, and you can make an appointment 3 days in advance. We did not make an appointment, so we had to queue up, but it didn't take long. There are audio guides for rent in the museum, 40 yuan each. It is strongly recommended to rent an audio guide and visit for a day. It feels like we can finally see the real national cultural relics that we have learned in history books for many years. It's a little exciting to say. The photographer couldn't help but take pictures of all the pictures in the history books. It is recommended to come to the museum, eat a full meal, and come in and stroll slowly (we were forced to go out for food because we were so hungry.)

No reservation or ticket required, just queue up and swipe your ID card to enter! Lighters are not allowed in the National Museum, and will be confiscated at the security checkpoint, but you will be allowed to pick one up at the exit! Bring your lunch and food and you can play inside for a day!

There were a lot of people queuing up. After two security checks, there was no ticket to enter the museum. Some special exhibitions inside required tickets. I mainly looked at [Ask the West and the East - From the Silk Road to the Renaissance] carefully. Maybe because I spent money, I thought it was particularly good. Here are a few exhibits that I like very much.

Remember to make an appointment in advance for the National Museum. It is very large inside, and a week is not enough to see the National Museum carefully. If you are on a tight schedule, I recommend you to visit the History Museum on the underground first floor.

No need to make an appointment by SMS anymore. It was summer vacation and weekend, so crowded. But I still feel very impressed by the development and growth of our motherland.

The museum is very big and it was very tiring to walk around for a day. However, when I went there, I found that many exhibits were exhibited overseas. It was a pity.

The exhibits inside are very rich, ranging from fossils of early humans appearing in mainland China to collections of modern cultural exchanges. It is suitable for bringing children to visit and learn about the history of our country and nation.
The underground floor has the most exhibits and a very large area, which is basically the part that takes up the longest time. Starting from the early humans, then the emergence of Homo sapiens, to the emergence of tribal settlements, pottery, bronze ware... all the way to the late Qing Dynasty, the entire historical display is a good historical education for adults and children.
On the ground floor, there is a large calligraphy and painting exhibition titled "The Road to Revival", which seems to have been there for a long time.
There are many counters selling souvenirs on the first floor. Friends who are used to stamping commemorative stamps can go to the place with a mailbox to get one. I stamped a "Road to Fuxing" stamp.
The second floor is usually for paid exhibitions, which are used for foreign exchanges. At certain times, there will be exhibitions from various countries and regions. Recently, there seems to be an exhibition from Australia, and another one from the Silk Road. The fee is generally 30-50.
On the third floor, there are several special exhibitions: jade, coins, calligraphy and painting, Buddha statues, bronzes, and gifts given by foreigners to successive leaders of New China during foreign exchanges. My favorite is the one for foreign exchanges, where you can see classic handicrafts from around the world, which is pretty good.
It takes about half a day to visit the National Museum, so you should pay attention to your schedule. There are always a lot of people there, and there are a lot of summer camps during the summer vacation.
In addition, a special reminder: turn off the flash when taking photos. Protecting cultural relics is everyone’s responsibility!

The trip to the National Museum was great, the "once in a lifetime" series. The exhibitions in the museum were great and worth the trip. However, because we decided to go at the last minute, we did not make an appointment in advance. The appointment had to be made three days in advance, and the SMS appointment had to be made two days in advance, but Telecom did not support SMS appointments, and the girl's Guangxi Mobile also failed to make an appointment. When we got there, we had to queue up on site. The museum opened at 9 o'clock, and there was already a long queue outside. The security check did not allow selfie sticks, and I didn't even know that I had a selfie stick in my bag, so I had to go to check in my bag again, which cost two yuan.
The museum is divided into four floors. The bottom floor is about ancient China, and the first floor is mostly about the exhibition halls related to the founding of the country. The second and third floors are divided into the South District and the North District, each with six to eight exhibition halls, with various exhibitions. I was particularly impressed by an African wood carving exhibition and an ancient home furnishing exhibition.
Most of them were also visited separately, after all, each of us wanted to see different things and needed different time allocations. It was already past twelve o'clock when we finished walking through all the exhibition halls.

It was really shocking. It was so quiet that I could hear the sound of turning pages from a meter away, and a loud cough would produce an echo. It was so loud that I couldn't find the book even if I knew the shelf number. I saw many elderly people, and I felt that each of them was an old professor from Tsinghua University or Peking University, and they stayed until closing time (8:45, which was very early).
There are really a lot of people in the National Museum, and the exhibition area of ancient China on the second floor underground is a simple popular science exhibition. The bronze area is good, and the others are just so-so. The paid exhibition upstairs is very good. I went to an exhibition of "No Questions, East and West" and was touched.

My interest in museums originated from this, and after visiting many museums at home and abroad, the National Museum of China is still my favorite, no doubt about it~
Free admission with ID card. The National Museum is very large, so it is best to set aside a day. Interpreters can be rented on the first floor. During the visit, the Ancient China Pavilion was the most interesting to me because there were many interesting exhibits.

The National Museum of China is the largest museum in the world in terms of single building area and one of the museums with the richest collections of Chinese cultural relics.

By Feixue|

The collection is so rich that I can't see it all in one day. I have to come again.

By 說時依舊 |

As a national museum, it is large in scale, but what should be displayed is still debatable. There are too few places for tourists to rest.

By DuoDuo-mami |

The National Museum can only be entered from the west gate. When we walked to the west gate and waited for security check, we found that there were really a lot of people, and the people in the queue didn't move at all!
There is a QR code next to each cultural relic. Just scan it with your mobile phone and you will get a detailed introduction. It is very convenient!
It took more than an hour to walk around the whole place, and I just had a quick look at the rest. It seems that the most famous thing in the National Museum is the Road to Renaissance. To be honest, it is quite nice to visit this National Museum. If you have enough time, you can stay here for a day to have a good look!

I went there in the afternoon and went straight in without queuing. Everything I read in textbooks when I was a kid is hidden here. It is definitely a place worth going to. It is magical. How could the ancients be so amazing? I can't even do it now. Haha

No reservation is required, but you have to go early. We arrived at 9 o'clock and there was already a long line. The collection is rich, and the Jade Clothes with Gold Threads and the Four-Ram Square Tripod are all on display here. Remember to bring delicious food before you go. Those who are interested in the museum can stay here for a day.

Let me put it this way, most of the artifacts in your history books from your student days are in here, from the Ape-Man, Banpo Hemudu, Hongshan Jade Dragon, Rhinoceros Zun, Four-Ram Square Zun, Nipple-patterned Flat-bottomed Jue, and a series of exquisite items. If you want to have a good time, it will take at least a day and a half. I spent a day and a half from morning to closing time, and I only had a cursory look at it.

I have been to the National Museum once, but I think it is really worth visiting again and again.
Ah~ the holy land of knowledge! The paradise of history!
You can rent an audio guide at the museum's service desk, or scan a QR code on WeChat to listen to the explanation. You can go to the service desks on both sides of the central hall to learn about the market before taking action. Personally, I think that arranging a day's visit is far from enough.

According to the staff, the National Museum has already started to cancel reservations in May this year, but our SMS reservation the day before yesterday still saved us from the pain of queuing under the scorching sun. We showed the SMS to the staff through the small entrance near the subway station and entered in advance. It is unknown whether this will work in the future.
There are so many exhibition halls in the National Museum that it is difficult to see them all at once. We first arrived at the Fuxing Road on the second floor, then toured all the way, and finally visited the basic exhibition of ancient China.
The Ancient China Basic Exhibition (underground floor) is based on time and the succession of dynasties, showing precious cultural relics from ancient times to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Copy Road (second floor) shows the awakening and resistance of the people from the beginning of the Opium War to the liberation, with more pictures. Therefore, from the perspective of appreciation, I suggest visiting the Ancient China Basic Exhibition first, and then the Road to Renaissance.

The exhibitions at the National Museum are excellent, but the service is just so-so
