You need to make an appointment on the official account one day in advance. There are quite a few tickets available, so it is very easy to make an appointment.

Take Metro Line 8 to Tianqiao Station, and walk 100 meters after getting off the subway. You can enter the park directly by swiping your ID card. Most of the people who go there are parents with their children.

The first floor of the museum's main building has the Plant World Hall, Dinosaur Park Hall, and African Hall. The Dinosaur Park has dinosaur fossils, moving and roaring dinosaur models, and dinosaur films.

The second floor has the Hall of Ancient Mammals, the Hall of Ancient Reptiles, etc. There is also a newly added smaller oceanarium, which is said to have free explanations at fixed times every day, but I didn't catch up.

All in all, it's a great learning experience for adults.

The museum has very rich collections, including exhibition halls such as Invertebrates, Ancient Reptiles, Dinosaur Park, Ancient Mammals, Animals and Human Friends, Plant World, Origin of Man, and Magical Africa. Each hall displays natural history knowledge and precious specimens in different fields. It takes two and a half hours to go through them all.

The Beijing Natural History Museum, located at No. 126 Tianqiao South Street, is a long-established museum with a history of nearly 70 years since its establishment (April 1951). The museum displays aquatic life, dinosaur park, vertebrates and other creatures from nature. It is a very suitable museum for family trips. Visitors with senior citizen cards can enter the museum directly without making an appointment. Other visitors need to make an appointment to enter.

I brought my kids here to visit. There are so many things to see, especially the dinosaur exhibition. My kids didn't want to leave. There are free explanations in the museum, but kids don't have the patience to listen, so I rented an explanation device to watch slowly. The backward point is that the 100 yuan deposit needs to be paid in cash. In this era when people only bring their mobile phones when going out, this rental method is too backward. Many parents were very anxious because they didn't bring cash~

Although it is an older museum, it is very suitable for bringing children. There are many things worth seeing. Children like it very much.

Located in the city center, the transportation is very convenient. The museum mainly displays animal and plant specimens. Tickets are free with ID card reservation.

Nothing interesting...

There is a large parking lot on the north side, but there was still a queue, so I had to park in the temporary parking lot at the back. How popular is this!

The dinosaur park can blink its eyes, shake its head, open and close its mouth, which is attractive enough for children.

I was surprised to find that there were quite a few fish in the aquatic animal exhibition hall of the Beijing Natural History Museum. Although the number and variety cannot be compared with that of the Qingdao Oceanarium, there are still some. And there are many Chinese sturgeons as special features.

The Natural History Museum recommends that parents take their primary and secondary school students to visit. It is very informative and can help them catch up on their biology lessons.

Free visit booked online in advance, great science museum! I saw a lot of natural knowledge, a total of four floors, and there are so many specimens of all sizes.

By Big Bad Wolf |

The museum has more than 100,000 cultural relics, fossils and specimens. The Natural History Museum has four basic exhibitions and a Dinosaur World Expo.

The Natural History Museum is free. Fortunately, I booked it online 10 days in advance. The ticket was still hard to get. I waited for the ticket to be released at 12 o'clock in the evening.

I still swiped my ID card to enter the museum. I remember that I came here once when I was a child, but I don't have much impression. The museum has 4 floors, and three floors can be visited, which are divided into many exhibition halls. There are volunteers to explain. When we went there, there was a little volunteer explaining. Although the explanation was a bit unfamiliar, it was commendable for her courage. I asked, and the little girl was about 11 years old. In Beijing, there are many opportunities to exercise children. We spent more time in the Dinosaur Museum. I explained the contents of the exhibition hall to my daughter, and I felt that she was quite interested. She didn't follow the plant part, probably because she was too young and didn't understand the course of nature. There are also aquatic creatures in the Natural History Museum. It feels a bit like a small aquarium, very beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

Tickets can be booked for free through the official account, but I was out of tickets when I arrived in Beijing. It is recommended to book tickets in advance. I bought the shadow play and tickets online for 60 yuan per person. When I got there, I found that I could also queue up to get tickets on site, but the line was very long.

By qpf2000 |

After dinner, the weather gradually cleared up, and the steamer mode was turned on again. I called a taxi to go to the Natural History Museum. Tickets were free on site. Maybe it was not a holiday, or maybe it was because of the rain, there were not many people, so the girl started to visit the museums one by one.

You need to make an appointment online in advance, and then go to the ticket window to pick up the ticket! Make an appointment in advance! There are probably too many people in the summer vacation, so there are night sessions. It's okay, there are natural history museums everywhere, I always feel that there is no need to go there specially

By Cherry basket |

The Beijing Natural History Museum is free to visit. You can make an appointment in advance on the official website, so you can save the trouble of queuing and go directly into the museum. We didn't make an appointment in advance, so we had to queue up to make an appointment on the spot. Adults can use their ID cards, and children can use their household registration books. We queued in the sun for nearly an hour, and our faces were red, before we could enter the museum!

The Natural History Museum is designed to satisfy the dinosaur addiction of children. There are all kinds of dinosaur fossils inside. There is an exhibition hall on the underground floor of the museum, which also has all kinds of simulated dinosaurs. There are also all kinds of marine life, which opened my son's eyes.

The exhibition hall is not big and there are many people. It takes about an hour to visit it.

By install |

The Natural History Museum is great, and the guides inside are very powerful. There are also free guides every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, but there are no detailed plans for which specific exhibition halls to visit, and the answers given to on-site inquiries were also uncertain.

It is more suitable for elementary school children to visit. It takes 3 hours to walk through the museum with the help of an interpreter. If you meet a tour guide, it may take longer. There are many children in the museum. It is best to avoid the weekend. Bring enough water and food. The resting place is on the B1 floor, but there are not many benches. If conditions permit, bring your own cushions.

By Wandering snail |

The Natural History Museum is free to visit, but it is best to make an appointment in advance. You can make an appointment by searching the official website of the Beijing Natural History Museum. After making an appointment, go to window 1 to get your ticket directly. Adults can enter directly with their ID cards, saving a lot of time. There is a long queue on site without an appointment!

The Natural History Museum is very user-friendly. There are self-service lockers for luggage storage, which reduces a lot of burden. You can also rent equipment for explanations. Give it a thumbs up! We visited casually without following any route. The visit ended in two hours.

By Udon Noodles |

The Natural History Museum is a popular museum and tickets need to be booked in advance. It is said that tickets are hard to get on weekends. You can make a reservation by following the WeChat public account, which is very convenient.

The Beijing Natural History Museum is not a boring place for preaching. It also has a dinosaur park, which is not big but very realistic.

By Little Koala🐨 |

There is no entrance fee here, you can enter by swiping your ID card

The underground first floor is the underwater world, which is very small.

Various animal specimens

The Dinosaur Park is pretty good. Children who like dinosaurs must come.

By yangtg |

You need to show your ID card to make an appointment at the Beijing Natural History Museum. Since it is off-season, you can just make an appointment and get the ticket at the gate. There are plant halls, dinosaur halls, African halls, mammal halls, ocean halls, etc. in the museum. When I went there, the plant hall was closed for maintenance, so I didn't see it. I went to the ocean hall first. Although the variety is not as good as that of a special oceanarium, it is also very rich. Many parents brought their children to see it. The fossils displayed in the dinosaur hall, as well as simulated dinosaur models, can move and are vivid. It should be fun for children to learn knowledge while playing.

By Forget more |

The museum is divided into six exhibition halls: the Plant World Hall, the Dinosaur Park Hall, the Paleo-Mammal Hall, the Paleo-Reptile Hall, the Paleo-Vertebrate Hall, and the Amazing Africa. For children who love the natural world, this is a mysterious paradise where they can constantly explore the mysteries. One day seems to be not enough to satisfy the children's appetite. My son has great enthusiasm and fun in every exhibition hall.

Compared to the Temple of Heaven, the Natural History Museum near the west gate of the Temple of Heaven is more interesting, although the Natural History Museum is not as famous as the Temple of Heaven. The fossil specimens here not only make children marvel at the magic of nature, but also make adults marvel, and the intimate introduction details the evolutionary history of animals such as elephants and giraffes. The hall on the left side of the entrance exhibits fossils of ancient mammals such as the Yellow River elephant and the Shanxi beast. There are also African animal specimens donated by foreign friends on the second floor. There are also many specimens of endangered animals on display in the Natural History Museum, which makes people sad. For example, the moa is an animal that disappeared after intense human activities. In the past 200 years, they have completely disappeared from the earth. In addition to fossils and specimens, the Natural History Museum also has a basement floor that displays live fish, and there is also a hall called "Secrets of the Human Body", but many specimens will make ordinary people feel a little uncomfortable. In general, the Natural History Museum is an interesting place for children and adults to popularize science. More importantly, this place does not charge admission fees.

By Wang Kun |

I took my son to the Natural History Museum. You can reserve free tickets online in advance with your ID card. There will be fewer people on weekdays, so it is very suitable for children. There are many halls inside, including those for animals, plants, and aquariums. There is also a 3D movie at 4 pm every day. The children have a lot of fun there.

There are very few toilets and the sanitary conditions are poor. As a free museum, there are many people. However, the collection is also good and worth seeing.

Friends who want to go, please pay special attention to the text in the third paragraph below, I believe it will be helpful:

The main exhibits of Beijing Natural History Museum are all gifts from nature, whether it is animals, plants or humans themselves, they are all on display in the museum. However, because my child is still young, I am afraid that he will have adverse reactions, so this visit is mainly about animals. He was not interested in plants, so I had to give up. As for the visit to human organs... I guess I am not very interested...

The Natural History Museum is located in the Tianqiao area on the central axis, one stop south of Qianmen Street. It is right next to the west gate of the Temple of Heaven and is very easy to find. There is also a Deyun Club at the door.

It is free to enter the museum, but you must pay special attention to the reservation. You need to make an appointment if you want to visit. However, whether it is online or by phone, you must make an appointment one day in advance. You cannot make an appointment for the same day, so you must make an appointment in advance, and the phone reservation must be made before 4 pm the day before. Remember. Generally speaking, you can make an appointment for the next day, but it is difficult to do so during holidays. After all, only four or five thousand people can be booked every day, and those who are not on the list can only wait in the back. As for the on-site tickets, after all, I am a foreigner, so I didn't dare to experience it...

The building of the Natural History Museum looks like an old building from the 1960s and 1970s. At first glance, it looks like a crazy hospital or a monster residence. Fortunately, there are a lot of people and it is sunny and warm... Xiao Nier likes the dinosaur fossils on the underground floor and the underwater world.

This large-scale dinosaur fossil exhibition caters to the interests of children, and there are also several animated simulated dinosaurs, which really make people scream~ But what I am most interested in are the large mammal fossils. After all, I have seen too many dinosaur fossils, but these mammal fossils are really amazing: are there really mammoths! And there is also the world's largest mammal fossil unearthed in Xinjiang, which is actually an animal I have never heard of: giant rhinoceros. It is really beneficial to visit here.

I also like the underwater world. Go down through an inconspicuous door on the south side. The corridor is very narrow, but the exhibits are rich and varied. Some fish even look like living fossils, not to mention the real "fossils" - the Chinese sturgeon soaked in formalin. The fish exhibits in the Natural History Museum are mainly large and ancient, which will definitely broaden your horizons, whether it is children or adults.

Of course, I also did some research in the specimen area, seeing many animals that I've heard of but never seen before, such as the hawksbill turtles that often appear in the news, the magical giant clams in novels (Oh my god, they can really kill you), and the various crustaceans that I'm most afraid of...

As a father or mother, you should take your children to see it.

The main thing is that you can bring your children there, where they can see and learn a lot of knowledge about nature.

The museum is an old-style building with a sense of history and rich specimens, but there are too many people and the air is a bit stuffy.

The Beijing Museum of Natural History has four large basic exhibitions: paleontology exhibition (ancient reptiles hall, ancient mammals hall, origin and early evolution hall, invertebrate prosperity hall), plant exhibition (green home hall), animal exhibition (animals - friends of mankind hall, mysteries of animals hall), human exhibition (origin of man hall). Each exhibition hall in the museum has a very detailed introduction, and there will be voluntary guides to give on-site explanations. It is recommended to take a slow tour and not rush through.

By I grow up with you, and you grow old with me! |

It's very suitable to bring children there, they can learn a lot and see the world.

By Candied Haws Mom |

I personally feel that this place is not interesting. It is near the overpass. You can enter the museum at 4 o'clock at the latest. You can book tickets online or on site. There are also many scalpers selling their tickets for ten yuan each. I don't know if there are other exhibitions inside, but the queue for appointment is also very fast. You can use your ID card and then swipe it to enter. There is no visit ticket, which is also a very environmentally friendly practice. The internal display is mainly some fossils and models, mainly telling about the development of plants, animals, and aquatic organisms. The venue is not big, there are a lot of things, and there are many people. It feels a bit boring, so I didn't study very well. The most important thing is that we were all tired in the morning. I took a quick look. But it is suitable for children to learn knowledge, but it is recommended to avoid peak hours, otherwise it will affect the effect.

By Bulan Residence |

Very good, novel, very suitable for children to visit, free tickets, reservation required

Very good, very suitable for bringing children to study, and parents can also reminisce many childhood memories.

The main reason I took my children to the Beijing Natural History Museum was to see dinosaur fossils. There is the world's longest Mamenchisaurus fossil here. But when I got there, I found that the Natural History Museum has many other themed venues, and even built a simulated dinosaur world underground, which is very realistic and the children had a great time. I really recommend going there.

Address: No. 126, Tianqiao South Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-17:00 (closed on Monday, no admission after 16:00).

Transportation: You can take a bus to the Temple of Heaven or the overpass, which is very convenient. We recommend taking the bus instead of driving.

Tickets: Free, but reservations must be made online or by phone one day in advance. Visitors who make reservations with their ID cards can enter the museum directly by scanning their ID cards, without having to exchange tickets separately.

Beijing Natural History Museum is one of the most popular museums for children. The permanent exhibits in the museum include: Secrets of Animals, Plant World, Dinosaur Park, Ancient Mammals, Ancient Reptiles, Amazing Africa, Animals - Friends of Humans, etc. It is recommended for children over 6 years old to visit. Children who are too young can only watch the fun. The dinosaur exhibition hall of Beijing Natural History Museum is the most realistic dinosaur I have ever seen. The skin of the dinosaur is made very finely, and many parts can move and make sounds. Happy kept covering his ears and told me, Mom, I am not afraid of dinosaurs, but I am a little afraid of their roar.

From the Jurassic era when dinosaurs appeared, to the Ice Age when mammoths lived; from the ordinary animal world of the Natural History Museum to the magical African wildlife; from ancient gorillas and apes to the little guide standing in front of you. Thoughts are like riding a time machine again and again, constantly shuttling, seeing the all-encompassing nature, and once again realizing how small you are. The fun and free [Natural History Museum] is worth the trip, and it is recommended for everyone who travels with children to come and see it. For specific travel notes, please refer to: http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/6309485.html

Travel Tips:

1. There is a parking lot next to the north side of the museum, 8 yuan/hour, the parking spaces are tight, so arrive early and get there early. We arrived at 10 am and there were still vacancies, for reference;

2. The museum is free, but reservations are required on the official website. You can make reservations on site with your ID card without exchanging tickets. You can just swipe your ID card;

3. Children accompanied by adults do not need to make a reservation for tickets;

4. The souvenir shops are on the second floor and the basement floor. The basement floor sells dinosaur derivatives.

5. After scanning your ID card, turn right and there is a public toilet. The only mother and baby room in the museum is also here.

6. Security check is required upon entry, so don’t bring any lighters with you;

7. There are a lot of people in the museum, so please keep an eye on your children and remember to put on and take off clothes at any time as it is quite hot in the exhibition hall.

I brought my son here to see dinosaurs. As a free attraction, the content here is still very rich. You can visit it for about two hours. Children who like dinosaurs can come and play. It is opposite Deyun Club.

There are many children in the Beijing Natural History Museum, there are many fossils, and there is a dinosaur park on the underground first floor. In short, it is not bad to take children to see it. If you live far away, you don't have to go there specially.

I brought my kids here on Children's Day, and I booked free tickets online. I personally think this place is a really good choice to bring kids here, they have fun and learn a lot, there is no time limit, and tickets can be booked for free, which is really good, not to mention kids, adults also have an inexplicable sense of mystery

Make an appointment with a mom in the neighborhood to go to the Natural History Museum and take the kids to see the world. The Natural History Museum is free, but reservations are required in advance. After successfully making a reservation on the official website, you can swipe in with your second-generation ID card. The building looks like a government office building from the outside, and it is also quite old, at least you can tell from the stairs, because I carry a stroller, so I have a deep understanding of it. The exhibition inside is very good, but because there are too many people with children, it is very noisy and crowded, and the two kids are impatient later. In addition to the more famous dinosaur fossils, there is also an aquarium and some animal specimens, which are mainly for viewing, and there are very few experiences. I heard that there are 3D movies, but I didn't go to see them, so I don't know how effective they are. I felt relieved when I went outside, and the children were also much happier to breathe fresh air. It seems that I should avoid weekends.

The Beijing Natural History Museum is located at No. 126, Tianqiao South Street. It is the first large-scale natural history museum in my country and a national first-class museum. The Natural History Museum is backed by the World Cultural Heritage Temple of Heaven Park and faces the modern Tianqiao Theater. It has a special cultural environment. It is mainly engaged in specimen collection, scientific research and popular science work in the fields of paleontology, animals, plants and anthropology. The scale of the Natural History Museum is still very large, with four large basic displays: paleontology, plants, animals, and human displays. When I visited, there happened to be two tour guides here. One was a volunteer elder sister who was very hard-working in the story. The other was a full-time tour guide in the museum. She was not very old and was deeply loved by children. Every time she went to a place, she was always surrounded by a group of people. In addition, her interaction with the audience attracted many audiences. I originally watched some by myself, and then followed the footsteps of the tour guide and heard a lot of knowledge that I didn't understand. I felt that the natural world was so profound and wonderful. The whole exhibition hall is equipped with many optoelectronic facilities, including a 4D cinema and many computer screens that can be operated by yourself, which vividly tell you the development history and future of various animals and plants. Especially the children, if their parents were not urging them, they would not go back. Because the visit time is long, the museum also set up a special room equipped with tables and stools for visitors to bring simple meals, which feels more humane.

By Alexg |

The Natural History Museum is located in the Tianqiao area in southern Beijing. The museum was opened shortly after the founding of the People's Republic of China, so the appearance and interior decoration are relatively old, but the collection of exhibits is still very good, especially the human anatomy objects in the exhibition area on the first underground floor are quite shocking. The number of fossils in the museum is among the highest in the world.

By Long live King Kiki! |

I went there when I was a kid. Now I pass by it every day on the way to school. My classmates said let's go and have a look, it's free anyway. I went there and it's suitable for children to learn knowledge. We all know that it's boring if we go there now.

By Small dreams, big dreams |

This museum is very rich and free. You need to make an appointment in advance on the official website or by phone.

There are many children visiting the exhibitions. Animals, plants, and human bodies are all involved. There is also a small science activity for young audiences called "Mr. Sai is here".

Three hours was not enough. I didn’t have time to take a closer look at the underground ocean part before the lights in the exhibition room were turned off and the area was cleared.

I find it a little hard to accept that the "baby" that is a human body part actually has a real specimen.

By Namusa |

In the past, there were not many people on weekdays, but there were many children on weekends. No wonder, there are dinosaur parks, aquariums, various animal specimens, 4D movies...education and entertainment, and it is free if you make an appointment in advance. The cost performance is quite high! Children love to go to the dinosaur park! There is also a beautiful Temple of Heaven next to it.

This place is very suitable for children. I have been there twice and took the children there again during the spring outing. The children had a lot of fun.

Free tickets can be reserved in advance.

The entire museum is clearly divided, with orderly tours upstairs and downstairs, and professional explanations.

There are many animal specimens and some interactive facilities that allow children to experience real nature.

There are places to eat and sell souvenirs in the basement, and there is a 3D cinema upstairs. In short, the facilities are very complete.

The Natural History Museum is located on the east side of the intersection where Deyun Club is located. There is a small fossil forest in front of the door. You can book free tickets in advance on the official website with your ID card, and you can pick them up at the door, which is very convenient. There are 3 floors to visit, and there are marine animals and dinosaur world in the basement. Most people go there with their children. It is divided into dinosaur park, invertebrate, ancient reptile, plant world and other venues. The combination of fossils, models, texts and pictures is very educational and historical, and it is very good to combine education with entertainment. 2014.10.18 I went to the Temple of Heaven for a stroll in the morning. Walking from the overpass to the hotel, I unexpectedly discovered that there was a Beijing Natural History Museum here. It was very rewarding. I lined up to make an appointment and get the ticket, and went in to visit. There was a 10-yuan ticket at the door, saying that some scenic spots inside were charged. In fact, I walked around inside and didn’t find any paid scenic spots. Instead, several scenic spots were under maintenance and were not open.

After arriving at the Natural History Museum, we first exchanged our reservation number and ID card for tickets at the door. Remember, don't line up in the wrong line. Different windows have different ways to get tickets. After exchanging tickets, we followed the crowd into the Natural History Museum. Security checks are required at the door, which is not very strict. You have to drink a sip of the water you brought. I really felt that the Natural History Museum is worth buying tickets, not to mention free. It took us two and a half hours to see the whole thing. We basically saw it all. It was very tiring, but it was really good!

Contents of the visit: The Mysteries of Animals, the Plant World, the Dinosaur Park, Ancient Mammals, Ancient Reptiles, the Beauty of Animals, Animals - Friends of Humans, etc.

It's a free museum, but you need to make an appointment on the official website in advance. It's quite big inside, and people mainly go there for the dinosaur fossils. Many parents bring their children here on weekends. It's very close to the west gate of the Temple of Heaven. It's not far north from the west gate of the Temple of Heaven. It's recommended to make an online reservation half a month in advance. If you go there on the spot, it seems to be 10 yuan per person. There is a 4D movie theater on the fourth floor, and the chairs can move.

There is a mammoth fossil inside.

My favorite museum when I was a child, now it is free, just show your ID card to register and get the ticket. If you go on weekends or holidays, there will be a lot of people, but on weekdays, there are few people, very quiet and comfortable. Although the exhibition hall is not particularly large, it is still quite exquisite, suitable for taking children to see.

The Beijing Natural History Museum is not a boring place for preaching. It is a new interactive science education venue for exploring the mysteries of nature based on the psychological characteristics of teenagers, which has attracted countless teenagers who love nature. "The Beauty of Animals" and "Dinosaur World" allow children to explore nature and love science in a happy and relaxed atmosphere.

Most of the people who go there are primary school students. I felt it was so warm to see the scene, but these two museums really did not satisfy my love for museums, as there were so few things.

There are really many things worth visiting and learning in the Beijing Natural History Museum. We played there for more than 3 hours. Except for the dinosaur museum, we spent a little longer in other museums. We were reluctant to leave until closing time. If you are interested in these things, I really recommend spending a day to visit them. It is very informative.

First of all, I have to give you some background information. The Natural History Museum is very large and a thorough tour would take a whole day.

The level of specimen preparation in natural history museums is relatively high, and the characteristics of many specimens can be seen more clearly than when they were alive.

The Natural History Museum is really a great place. The animal and plant specimens here are of various varieties and lifelike. The colors are bright and the layout is compact, which attracts children's attention and allows children to get to know various creatures up close and in a short time.

The Natural History Museum opens a window for us to know and understand nature. If you have children at home, you must take them to have a look. Children will love nature and admire science with you.
