After reading the guide, we went to the base of the CCTV Tower. It was not as good as expected. We went there from Xi'an to watch the sea lion show. The sea lion show hall was not big, but the show was quite interesting. The so-called underwater tunnel was not big either. The whole aquarium was not particularly large. The fish species were not as many as expected. The mermaid show was average. The shark-human dance was OK. It is recommended to be cautious if you go with children. We did not see big turtles, dolphins, and other animals. The penguins were very cute.

Stroll through the underwater tunnel in the magical blue world

The Pacific Underwater World under the CCTV Tower was jointly built by China and Singapore, with a construction area of more than 8,000 square meters. It includes a small pool area, a touch pool, a penguin house, an underwater tunnel, a seal performance area, a shark-human dance performance area, an underwater shipwreck, a dynamic cinema, a gift shop, a fast food restaurant, a computer science classroom, etc.

Watch hundreds of marine life and wonderful performances up close, from ferocious sharks to colorful coral fish and rare freshwater fish. The jellyfish in the Jellyfish Hall are distributed in the Pacific Ocean, Australia, and my country's waters. Explore the magical and dreamy underwater world of the "Hong's Ring Penguin" in Peru, South America.

The underwater tunnel is 74 meters long, with 180° surround acrylic transparent glass, from which you can see colorful coral reefs, rare marine animals, and charming scenery. There are sea turtles weighing more than 200 kilograms and sharks more than 3 meters long. You can swim freely in the underwater tunnel and watch hundreds of marine creatures from a diver's perspective.

Sea lion performance: single fin standing, fancy ball heading, underwater ball heading, neck ring, underwater dancing and many other skills, inviting the audience to interact with the sea lions. Divers gently caress sharks and sea turtles, and sharks and sea turtles compete for food, and schools of fish surround divers. Mermaids dance gracefully.

By Six thousand miles |

Diving: 350 yuan/hour, 100 yuan for each camera, free diving is allowed, mermaids are not allowed.

View: Small, the smallest underwater world in Beijing.

The Yuyuantan Lake on the West Third Ring Road and the TV Tower complement each other and add to their own beauty. I didn't know that there is such a wonderful small-scale oceanarium under the tower.

Although the museum is not big, it has everything you need, including the "three-piece set" of an oceanarium - mermaid dance, penguin show and sea lion show.

In terms of fish species on public display, the Pacific Ocean is not inferior to any other aquarium in the country, but there are very few polar creatures. The area of the aquarium is so small that it is difficult to upgrade and renovate it, so if you want to see polar bears or snow foxes, don't come.

The 4D cinema and sea lion show require separate tickets. I have been to these two places before, so I didn't go in this time. The sea lion show has little content and a small venue, but it is quite interactive. The experience of the cinema is OK, you can watch it if you have time.

A small but beautiful oceanarium, you can visit it in your spare time, highly recommended.

The Pacific Underwater World consists of a small pool area, a touch pool, a penguin house, an underwater tunnel, a seal performance area, a human-shark dance show, etc. Friends who like aquariums should not miss it.

By Walking in the valley |

There is a relatively short underwater tunnel, which is not very interesting in the oceanarium. It is located under the TV tower. The equipment in the aquarium is old and there are not many types of exhibits.

Accompanying my son to the underwater world for the first time, I still have a childlike innocence

By Keep walking |

Located at the bottom of CCTV Tower, it is not very big, much smaller than Beijing Oceanarium, so the fish are limited, and there are not many people. People usually come here with the CCTV Tower package.

Haha, I was a little disappointed after I went there. It's not as good as the aquarium in the zoo. So if you haven't been to the aquarium in the zoo, you can go there first. There are dolphin and seal performances there, which are very exciting. The Pacific seal show has an additional fee, which is not worth it.

By Beautiful scenery along the way |

The Pacific Underwater World is smaller than the aquarium in the zoo, but it is also home to many marine creatures and sea lion performances. It is especially suitable for parents to bring their children.

By DDDDDDDOU |

The underground floor of the TV tower is the underwater world. It is not very big. If you want to take photos, go there as early as possible. The later you go, the more people there are. There are underwater tunnels, jellyfish areas, fish areas, etc. There are different performances at different times in the underwater tunnel, which you can watch~

Because I have a 2016 Beijing Parent-Child Annual Pass, I decided to take the kids there. I did some research online in advance and asked friends who had been there. I found that people didn't have a very good opinion of Pacific Underwater World. There were two main issues: 1. The name sounds grand, but the place is actually very small, so it's more appropriate to call it an aquarium; 2. The ticket price is inflated (group purchases are not cost-effective), and there is also a ticket-in-ticket, which means you need to buy a separate ticket if you want to go in and watch the sea lion show.

Because I have taken my children to many underwater worlds, I am quite disappointed with this underwater world. If you deliberately take your children there, or spend money to enter, it is not worth it. For specific details, you can refer to my travel notes: http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/6283706.html

I recommend that you buy tickets for the CCTV Tower's revolving restaurant in a group (there are group purchases all year round, lunch is 199 yuan/person), because the revolving restaurant will give away tickets to the Underwater World, so it's a good deal to visit both together.

There are too few species and they are too ordinary. It is a waste of money to go there. There are no sharks in the aquarium, but there are a lot of goldfish. The material of the underwater tunnel is not good, which will make people feel very dizzy.

By Jiaer |

It's not very big, and you can finish the tour in about half an hour. There are not many types of fish, but the jellyfish are okay and pretty. If I didn't have an annual pass, I probably wouldn't go there.

The Underwater World is very close to my company, about 10 minutes away, but I didn't go there before because I thought it was a place for children. It was too noisy.

Until one day, by chance, I was dragged by a friend to see the jellyfish when the museum was about to close. Only then did I realize how beautiful it was when there was no one around. . . .

Later, when I was unhappy or worried, I would go to see the jellyfish when the museum was about to close. I might only be able to watch them for 10 or 20 minutes each time, but as long as I watched these crystal clear little guys swimming around in the water, I would slowly relax and become quiet. . .

This was our unexpected trip, because we had an extra day, and we didn't know when we could take our parents to the Underwater World, so we came. The ticket was 120 per person, which was not cheap, and it was actually very small. It was suitable for people who had never seen the Underwater World. If you have experience before, I don't recommend going.

🐠On December 24, 2015, little brother E was two years old. I took him to see the fish and small animals in the sea, and fooled him into fulfilling his dream of the blue ocean...

Below the TV Tower on the West Third Ring Road in Beijing, there are bottle feeding fish, seal shows, and many beautiful fish. It is suitable for taking children.

By Xiao Xiao Hui❄️ |

It's right next to the CCTV Tower, it feels very ordinary

By purplegood mood |

The ticket price is 120, which is expensive. I left after about an hour, even though there were many people. It's not interesting and it's pretty bad.

By Meng-M-Meng |

It is located under the CCTV Tower. The location is easy to find. This place is very suitable for children. There are many beautiful underwater creatures and an underwater tunnel. It is quite fun~~

By Fly Run |

Because we went there a little late, we didn't see the mermaid show. The penguins were dirty. The tunnel was okay, but there were more people than on the bus or subway! My daughter said that feeding the fish was not fun yet. When we say going to the underwater world, we are going to feed the fish. Sweat.........

By ﹎Long-planned |

The kids like it very much. It feels like the place has become smaller. It disappeared after a short while.

By Curly meow~ |

I bought tickets for the Underwater World Daytime + CCTV Tower Nighttime online for 98 yuan, which I think is worth it. The Underwater World is right under the TV Tower. The whole museum is not big and can be visited in an hour. We entered at 4:30 pm and stayed until closing at 6 pm. There were not many people at that time and we had a lot of fun. Although there are not many species of marine life and jellyfish in it, it is far inferior to the Beijing Oceanarium, but you get what you pay for.

By Meteor Vs Crescent Moon |

This place is suitable for taking children to take a good look at the animals in the underwater world, where there are many fish.

By hzm1130 |

As for the Underwater World, my overall evaluation is not that good. I have been to several oceanariums, but I always have the urge to go again. The Beijing Oceanarium in the zoo, the Fuguo Underwater World in Gongti, the Laohutan Polar Oceanarium in Dalian, and the Ocean Park in Hong Kong. I used to think that the Fuguo was the most boring one I had been to, but I didn’t expect it to be completely defeated this time... I recommend that if you want to go to the Ocean Park in Beijing, you should choose the zoo!

By Cherish the words of Zhenxun |

When I went there, I got a free ticket. I didn't expect that the place was so small after waiting in line for so long. The fish were cute, and you can buy bottles to feed the fish. It's a pity that the place is not big. There are also souvenirs for sale. I guess children will not be able to walk if they go there.

It may be because of the holidays, there are so many people, it is recommended to avoid holidays. When crossing the undersea tunnel, it felt okay, but the photos I took were not very clear, because I took them with a mobile phone, and the fish swam faster, so they were out of focus.
