北京大学

Peking University was founded in 1898 and was originally named Imperial University of Peking. It was the first national comprehensive university in China and the highest educational administrative body in China at that time. After the Xinhai Revolution, it was renamed to its current name in 1912. The landmark landscape of Peking University is Weiming Lake. On the shore of Weiming Lake, you can see the lake light and tower shadows in the east; the sunset in the bell pavilion in the west; the lake and mountains in the south; and the shadows of the buildings in the north. Everywhere is full of poetic and picturesque scenery. In addition, Peking University also has famous attractions such as the bronze statue of Cai Yuanpei, the statue of Cervantes, the Shide Building (the unicorn and the red steps in front of the building are relics of the Old Summer Palace), and Shao Garden.

Peking University is basically divided into three parts: the park in the north, villas in the middle, and campus in the south. The north is separated from the Old Summer Palace by a wall, and it is said that it was a part of the Old Summer Palace in the past. It is all Chinese-style buildings and gardens, with the Unnamed Lake as the center. This is the essence of Peking University. Walking into the Peking University campus, I felt like I was traveling through a century. The ancient trees were so tall that they covered the sky. In the winter, the leaves of the trees in the north fell off, leaving only the intertwined branches. When I looked up, I could only see the sky covered by the branches.
Every inch of Peking University that I walked through, I thought of the places where Hu Shi and Lu Xun had walked. This feeling is indescribable.

I always went there when I was preparing for the postgraduate entrance exam at the end of 2016. At that time, the security guards basically didn't stop anyone. You just had to push your bike in with the crowd. Around November 2017, I happened to be interning there, and I couldn't get in anymore. I needed to make an appointment in advance, and the inspection was quite strict. There is a QR code at the door, and you can make an appointment in advance. The flow is limited every day, and you can't make an appointment if there are too many people. In winter, when Weiming Lake freezes, everyone skates on it. In spring, in April and May, the flowers are in bloom, and the water in Weiming Lake has melted. There are schools of artificially raised fish in the lake, and many people will go to feed the fish. As a postcard enthusiast, I once took a box of postcards all over the school to look for the scenery on the postcards, but it was a pity that I didn't take pictures at the time. If you have friends who like postcards, you can send postcards to each other.

When I went to Peking University, I didn't need to make an appointment. It happened to be the end of autumn when I went there. The whole campus was golden. I went there for the Weiming Lake! Weiming Lake is one of the symbols of Peking University. People who have a Peking University complex will definitely yearn for these three words, while ordinary people will think that this is just an ordinary lake. The lake itself is not large, but there are countless stories surrounding Weiming Lake. Of course, there are also people jumping into the lake every year. I think only those who have a special feeling for Peking University will have a special feeling for Weiming Lake!

They say that you can only enter Peking University by appointment. I always wanted to go in, but I didn't make an appointment. So I found someone on Xianyu, but he asked for 50 yuan, which I refused decisively. I didn't dare to go through the East Gate after getting off the subway from the East Gate. I went through the small side door. There were people checking ID cards, but I pretended to be calm and went in. As a result, no one stopped me! The moment I entered, I was so happy that I burst. I saw Weiming Lake and Boya Tower. I will never be able to go to this famous school in my life. I have to hide like this to enter. I feel a little sad.

Peking University is one of the most prestigious universities in China and probably has the longest history among universities in Beijing. I could enter and exit freely at first, but I forgot when the gate was closed and proof was required to enter and exit. I have been to Peking University many times before, but never walked around like I did this time.

The campus is very beautiful and large, and it is worth a visit. (Visiting during holidays requires advance reservation) The campus covers an area of more than 600 acres and there are many attractions. If walking may be a bit tiring, it is recommended to visit by bicycle. Vending machines are common on campus.

Peking University was called Imperial University of Peking in the late Qing Dynasty and was renamed National Peking University in 1912. This university was the center of the New Culture Movement and the source of the May Fourth Movement. Peking University and Tsinghua University are both known as the top universities in China. The Unnamed Lake and the Boya Tower have become the symbols of Peking University.

Peking University is full of flowers in spring, and with its strong academic atmosphere, it is worthy of being a leader among domestic higher education institutions.

If you can't get into Peking University, you can still go to Peking University. The ancient architecture is a great study environment. When I was preparing to go to Tsinghua University, I met the Internet celebrity teacher Zhang Xuefeng. I was so lucky.

Now you need to make an appointment, and it is impossible to enter if you don't make an appointment in advance on the update day. This appointment method has enabled scalpers to do evil. If you want to enter, you have to pay 50 yuan per person. It is naked kidnapping. I hope the relevant departments will take care of it. We made a wasted trip.

Peking University (abbreviated as "PKU") was founded in 1898 and was originally named Imperial University of Peking. It is the first national university in modern China and the earliest school founded under the name of "university". Its establishment marks the beginning of modern higher education in China. PKU is the only school in modern China established as the country's highest institution of learning. It was also the country's highest educational administrative body at the beginning, exercising the functions of the Ministry of Education and managing education throughout the country. PKU gave birth to China's earliest modern school system and created China's earliest university disciplines in liberal arts, science, social sciences, agriculture, and medicine. It is the founder of modern higher education in China.

Peking University is the best university in China and also the oldest university. Getting into Peking University is the dream of every Chinese child and the destination of every intellectual who wants to continue their studies. The architecture of Peking University, like the Forbidden City, adopts the traditional architectural style of red bricks and green tiles, which is also a continuation of Chinese culture.

By Ouyang Jingshu|

The scenery is great. It is China's highest institution of learning and is worth a visit.

By Hong Yingxian |

Peking University is a long-cherished institution of higher learning, and many foreign students also want to study there. The West Gate of Peking University retains the characteristics of old Beijing and is well worth a visit.

Beijing is the most beautiful in autumn. This is the Weiming Lake of Peking University. I think it is very beautiful. There is traffic jam in Xiangshan every day, and you can't see the red leaves. It's better to go to Peking University and Tsinghua University.

By zhongray |

my country's top universities are not tourist attractions, so you need to make an appointment to visit. There is a limited number of places for visiting the school, so make an appointment as early as possible.

By chenmin |

Peking University Yuanmingyuan Campus is a garden. Maybe they are under construction during the holidays, so the facilities and flowers in many places are not well taken care of. It is still nice to see the Boya Tower by the Weiming Lake~

By Li Yunxi|

I downloaded a map of the best route from the Internet, and continued to scan a bicycle, passing through the ancient teaching buildings. I imagined who walked here decades ago, a hundred years ago, and studied diligently, and who raised his arms and shouted in the face of national crisis, and issued the cry of the awakener. Although that was not me, I have the same surging blood flowing in my blood, and the same heroic passion surging in my heart. Unfortunately, the Peking University Library is being expanded. This library is known as the largest university library in the world (Asia?). We were not allowed to enter, but the appearance alone is already magnificent. It must be a blessing to study in such a library! The willow trees by the Weiming Lake are very graceful, but unfortunately the lake water is not clear enough and is a little green. In the distance is the famous Boya Tower. Nearby is the stone boat. Most of the Peking University campus is the royal garden of the late Qing Dynasty. Walking in it will give you a strong sense of age.

According to the appointment, we came to the east gate of Peking University, and after checking our ID cards, we finally entered the campus. Facing the "nine bends and eighteen turns" buffer zone, we couldn't help but complain that it was dizzy.

I entered Peking University with a heavy admiration and expectation.
The noble and elegant Peking University is like a lotus flower that has just emerged from the world and is untainted by dust. Countless admirers rush to get close to it to catch a glimpse of its fragrance.

More than three hundred species of animals have made their homes on this campus. Whether it is the mountains, water, plants or animals, they all have the most precious freedom, breathing freely and growing freely.
Today, Peking University is jokingly called "a mess" by Chinese people. The correct answer is "a picture of a tower and a lake", that is, the main scenery of Peking University is Boya Tower, Weiming Lake and the library. Some people describe Boya Tower as a giant pen, dipped in the ink of Weiming Lake to write the glorious history of Peking University, while the library witnesses and collects history.

Peking University is a monument in the hearts of countless Chinese people.

Here, there is not a trace of impetuousness, not a trace of showing off. What we feel here is another kind of beauty of tranquility and far-reaching beauty, the beauty of indifference to fame and wealth, the beauty of broad-mindedness and majesty, and the beauty of being famous without being famous. What we feel here is the beauty of reverence.

Standing on the land of Peking University, you can not only touch the splendid history of China and the vibrant nature, but also feel the tranquility and vitality here.

When you come here, whether to study or just take a short campus tour, you will be infected by the vigorous and free vitality of this land and be deeply intoxicated by it.

The campus is spacious, as if you were plunged into a vast wilderness, and the environment is beautiful, as if you were walking into Shanglin Imperial Garden.

Buildings are connected to mountains, streets are crisscrossed, trees are lush and verdant, and flower beds and lawns are connected.

In the distance, it is surrounded by hills and lakes, with pavilions and towers facing each other. The flowing water is hidden under the small bridge, and the willow trees are nestled beside the waterside pavilion.

By Second Set |

It is no longer possible to visit Peking University.

By On the Road |

Peking University is suitable for visiting with children. The place is very large and the scenery of Weiming Lake is also nice. We came during the summer vacation and many departments were on vacation. There were not many people on campus, so it was nice to feel the cultural atmosphere.

By CiCi My Neighbor Totoro |

It is also a very pleasant thing to stroll around Peking University casually. You can spend a lot of time at Weiming Lake and walk around the campus!

By Cool Daddy|

For many years, Weiming Lake has carried the solemnity of the Boya Tower by the lake with its lightness, and because of the solemnity of the tower, the lightness of Weiming Lake has more content. The perfect match between the lake and the tower is the stroke of genius of Weiming Lake, which is always philosophical and intriguing.

By Brother Planting Rice|

I always give Peking University five stars involuntarily when I see it. I respect the historical heritage, humanistic qualities, and everything created by the people in the park. You need to make an appointment in advance to enter Peking University, so I didn't go in this time. I walked around the park from a distance. Maybe it's my habit to be hypocritical. I always feel that I didn't get in because it's not my destiny. There will be many opportunities in the future. Who knows, one day I can come here to study.

Attach the mini program code and search for Visit Peking University in the mini program.

The first time I knew there was a "Peking University" in the world was when I was seven years old. That day, I accidentally found a yellowed photo from a drawer, which showed a quiet and beautiful lake and tower. I stared at this familiar scenery, and some inexplicable surprise, joy and emotion quietly rose from my eager heart. My mother told me: This is Peking University.

In the summer of 2013, I went to Peking University for the first time. I remember that I spent a lot of money just to get in. Haha, I don’t know if I will become one of them in the future.

You can't enter without an appointment, you can only check in. Please remember to make an appointment at least one week in advance.

It happened that when I went to Peking University, it was the 120th anniversary of the school. I was lucky enough to register and was able to enter. There are many ancient buildings in Peking University that are worth seeing. I found that Peking University has a very beautiful long corridor, which is a holy place for taking photos!

By Ren Yuqin|

It seems that people from other schools are not allowed to visit now. If you really want to bring your children in, there are people outside the school gate who will take you on a tour of the campus, but there is a fee.

One of the most famous and most coveted "ivory towers" in China is Tsinghua University and Peking University, which our parents once called the only two universities left in the world when we were young.

By YAN |

Peking University is a big campus, so we didn’t visit all of it. Visitors can enter from the East Gate and quickly reach Weiming Lake. Finally, we went to the Peking University canteen to eat a bowl of braised pork ribs rice noodles (only student cards can be used, so I shamelessly borrowed it, thank you very much)

By Ordinary Life|

Originally named Imperial University of Peking, it is the first national comprehensive university in modern China. It is recognized as the highest institution of learning in China and one of the most important universities in Asia and the world.
It is the central birthplace of China's "New Culture Movement" and "May Fourth Movement", and is also the earliest place for the spread of various political thoughts and social ideals in China. It is known as the "barometer of Chinese politics" and enjoys a very high reputation and important position.
The campus environment is picturesque, with both the grandeur of royal gardens and the beautiful features of Jiangnan mountains and rivers. The beautiful lake light and tower shadows by the Weiming Lake, accompanied by the master's back, are the most beautiful picture in Yanyuan.
The campus is adjacent to the Old Summer Palace in the north and faces the Summer Palace in the west. After touring the campus, you can also visit all the historical sites here.

Peking University does not seem to reject me. I remember the first time I stepped into the campus of Peking University, which was one morning a year ago. My colleagues who came to Beijing on a business trip were still asleep, so I rode a shared bicycle to Peking University early, and went west along Chengfu Road in Haidian District. At the end of this road, I reached the East Gate of Peking University. But the East Gate of Peking University at this time is not like the famous gate you see on TV. The gate of Peking University that often appears on TV or on the covers of various high school teaching supplements is actually the West Gate of Peking University. Perhaps because I look no different from a Peking University student, the security guard did not check my student ID or ID card and let me in directly. This is not the dereliction of duty of the security guard, because how can an unlearned person come to Peking University to cause trouble at five or six in the morning? Those who come to visit Peking University at this time, even if they are not students at Peking University, must be pilgrims who admire the spirit of Peking University.

The author came to Peking University to visit the Sackler Museum of Archaeology and Art. After entering from the east gate and heading west, the humanistic atmosphere of Peking University gradually intoxicated the author. I don't know how to describe it. It seems that there is an incomparable majesty here. Every breath of air here seems to be absolutely not thinking about taking shortcuts or wasting time. All you think about is devoting yourself to explore knowledge. The legendary "One Tower and Lake Map", the Unnamed Lake and the Boya Tower are right in front of you.

Since I arrived too early, the Sackler Museum of Archaeology and Art was not open yet, so I wandered around the west side of Peking University. There are Huabiao, "Daya Hall", which is now the Institute of Chinese Studies, Minghe Courtyard, and Red Lake. You should know that every inch of land you walk on here may have been walked by great figures in modern Chinese history such as Cai Yuanpei, Li Dazhao, Lu Xun, Li Siguang, and Zhu Ziqing.

Now, if we look back at Cai Yuanpei's "Speech at the Opening Ceremony of Peking University", it still has far-reaching significance for today's universities. Cai Yuanpei said, "In normal times, they indulge in debauchery and pleasure-seeking, but when they take exams, they study the lecture notes carefully, not caring whether they have learned anything, but only competing for scores; after the exams, they put the books aside and never ask about them. They perfunctorily study for three or four years, sloppily do their work, and then get a diploma and use it to move around in society. Isn't this completely contrary to the original purpose of studying? Time is wasted, and learning nothing is a mistake." This is about the school's theory of only scores, which is the theory of only indicators for colleges and universities. They are more concerned about the level and number of papers, but not the knowledge. For students, they only seek benefits in various indicators, and care about "techniques" rather than "learning".

Cai Yuanpei pointed out more than 120 years ago that "because of the desire to be an official, teachers are not asked about their academic level, but only their official rank. Those with higher official rank are especially welcome, because they can help future graduates." Now 120 years have passed, and such things are still happening. President Cai believes that "therefore, you must hold on to the purpose of learning. Those who enter the law department are not for officialdom; those who enter the business department are not for getting rich." If someone holds such a view now, he will definitely be ridiculed by many people today, right?

By Wandering Snail |

Visited the newest dormitory. The library and school history museum were under renovation, so we couldn't visit them, which was a pity. There were too many people in front of the statue of Cai Yuanpei, the father of Peking University, so we couldn't take photos. Weiming Lake, Boya Tower. A famous school is a famous school, and the water tower is so artistic.

By Shushike|

The scenery I miss most about Peking University is Weiming Lake. So when I came to Peking University this time, I went straight there. When I was studying, I came across this place countless times in books. I thought about the time when those masters took leisurely walks by the Weiming Lake. Those immortal articles and immortal thoughts may have emerged by the Weiming Lake. Now, walking by the Weiming Lake, I can no longer meet them.
It is said that the name Weiming Lake was given by Qian Mu.

There were a lot of people at the gate of Peking University. They said that the school was closed now, but they could let us in. They didn't know how much it would cost. A friend from Peking University brought us in and acted as a guide for us. We were afraid that the children would be tired, so we mainly visited a few major spots. July is graduation season, and Peking University has a lot of things for staged photos, and many students are taking graduation photos. We first went to the library, which was being renovated, and then walked to the Centennial Lecture Hall to take photos. We passed the Triangle and arrived at the Boya Tower, stopping and walking. Fortunately, it rained a little that day and the weather was very cool. We took more photos near the Boya Tower, then walked around the Weiming Lake, took photos in several places, and after going around the painted boat, we walked towards the west gate of Peking University. The children were already tired at this time, so we went directly to the west gate. The people at the west gate of Peking University were very crowded.
I would like to praise the students of Peking University here. They are very enthusiastic. When we were taking photos, some students asked us if we needed help taking photos.

A teacher introduced by a friend took us in. We didn't have to queue up. Normally, you have to queue up to enter the campus from the west gate... Peking University has a beautiful campus. The Unname Lake, Boya Tower, Peking University Library, and Jingyuan are all worth seeing...

Peking University is well-known and needs no further explanation. Since you are not a student here, you should also experience it as a tourist. Peking University is really big. It is really a pleasure to study here. The campus has both the grandeur of the royal garden and the natural scenery of Jiangnan. The campus in late autumn makes the golden ginkgo trees more beautiful. The Unnamed Lake, the Boya Tower, and every building in the park make Peking University more charming. When you come here, don't choose anything else except the subway. No matter where you are, you can eventually change to Line 4 of the Beijing Subway and get off at the East Gate Station of Peking University. You will arrive at the East Gate as soon as you exit the station. It is very convenient. You only need to register your ID card to enter Peking University. If you want to take a photo of the gate of the Peking University plaque you see on the Internet, you have to go to the West Gate, because it is the only place where you can take a photo. It takes half a day to visit Peking University, and you can also go to the nearby Yuanmingyuan in the afternoon.

If I come here before taking the college entrance exam, will the result be different? The building has a strong historical atmosphere. The reason why I chose Peking University is because I read in the guide that Peking University is more friendly to tourists than Tsinghua University. Only the southeast gate of Peking University is open to tourists from 07:30 to 21:50. You need to bring your ID card or household registration book to register for admission. But in fact, I just walked in directly, maybe it was during class time. In fact, as long as you walk in calmly, most people will not stop you. I just carried a backpack and pretended that I was still a student, and walked in swaggeringly. Take Metro Line 4 to Peking University East Gate Station, and you can see it when you turn the corner after exiting the station.
Peking University was founded in 1898 and was originally named Imperial University of Peking. It is the first national university in China and the first university officially established in modern Chinese history. There are many famous attractions in Peking University, including the bronze statue of Cai Yuanpei, the statue of Cervantes, the Shide Building (the unicorn and the red steps in front of the building are relics of the Old Summer Palace), Shao Garden (built by the famous Ming Dynasty painter Mi Wanzhong during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty), Boya Tower, Alumni Gate, and Weiming Lake. The establishment of Peking University marked the beginning of modern higher education in China and gave birth to the earliest modern school system in Chinese education history - the Renyin school system and the Guimao school system. After the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nankai University moved south to Changsha and formed the Changsha Temporary University. Soon, the temporary university moved to Kunming and was renamed the National Southwest Associated University. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Peking University resumed school in Beijing in October 1946.

Here are a few suggestions:
1. When you see a guide map like this, take a photo of it as clearly as possible. I found that many of the signs on the Peking University campus in Baidu Maps were incorrect. I finally found the places I wanted to go by following this map and the hello bike map.
2. Peking University is also very large, so those who don’t have the stamina should try to ride a bike. There are a lot of shared bikes on campus, but they are mostly small yellow ones, so I can’t ride them, so I just walked.
3. Ask for directions with older people. I asked many students along the way, but most of them couldn't give me the right directions. I don't know if it was just because I only met freshmen. But if you ask older uncles or aunts, they are either school staff or people who often come to Peking University for a walk, and they are more likely to give the right directions.

If you want to visit the famous Tsinghua University and Peking University, you must make arrangements early and be prepared for the possibility of not being able to visit. First of all, many domestic universities have adopted policies to restrict tourists from entering the campus to ensure the normal order of the school. Except for special circumstances, Peking University and Tsinghua University stipulate that only weekends and general holidays can be visited. However, when the school has activities on weekends, the campus is not open to the public. However, this information cannot be found on the Internet. In other words, even if tourists follow the flow control measures of your school as required, there is a great possibility that they will be turned away. Therefore, if you plan to visit Tsinghua University and Peking University, please be mentally prepared, or just take a photo at the gate and leave.
As a tourist, I respect the school's rules and agree with the time and flow restrictions. However, due to the lack of information disclosure and backward publicity methods, tourists have no way to know in advance which day the school accepts tours, unless they go to the school gate in person to ask. As a tourist who has been blocked outside the North Gate for two consecutive weekends, I really want to say that respect is mutual.
The main gate of Peking University that is open to tourists is the East Gate, which is also the gate at the subway entrance, but the most famous red gate of Peking University is at the West Gate. The main gate of Tsinghua University that is open to tourists is the West Gate, and the famous white gate of Tsinghua Garden is inside the school. If you enter from the West Gate, it will take about ten minutes to walk.

If you have classmates, you can ask them to bring you in. Generally, everyone enters directly from the west gate.
The architectural style of Peking University is very similar to that of Nanjing Normal University. Although I didn't see many students,
But there is an inexplicable sense of reverence
Peking University has its own museum and the Arab Library donated by Saudi Arabia. I have never heard of these. This trip is well worth it!

Walking slowly in the Peking University campus, I felt the quiet and comfortable feeling and suddenly wanted to go back to school.

After leaving the Old Summer Palace, you can walk to the west gate of Peking University!

There are no tickets, so the strategy is to go early to queue up. The queue at Peking University is quite fast. There are crowds of people at the entrance, and it only takes about half an hour. Peking University is so beautiful, the buildings are all in the style of the Republic of China, the eaves are particularly beautiful, and the weather is good for taking pictures. The Weiming Lake is so romantic, with mandarin ducks playing in the water. The scenery of Peking University fascinated us deeply. Because we went there during the winter vacation, we didn’t catch up with the good meals in the cafeteria, and we didn’t meet the academic masters on campus, so we just took it as a stroll. Peking University is really beautiful.

Peking University said it was open, so why did the security guard keep waving his hands when I said it was not open? It hurts my self-esteem.

You can enter Peking University, but you need to register your ID card. There are many tourists in Weiming Lake, which is like a check-in attraction.

The most awesome university in China, you can feel the strong learning atmosphere when you enter

I didn't go here on purpose, I just passed by when I was attending an event at the Old Summer Palace, and there were really a lot of people taking photos.

As soon as I entered Peking University, I was greeted by the colors of spring, the breeze was blowing, and the pedestrians on the road were all bookish and smiling. At that moment, I instantly understood the meaning of the phrase "like a spring breeze"
The azure sky, the yellow willows, the rosy cherry blossoms, the spring atmosphere, very beautiful
In the warm spring, under the tipsy sunshine, on the green grass, students are gathering and happily discussing campus life and academic issues. Suddenly, they feel as if time has gone back to their student days.

The atmosphere was not what I had imagined. The campus was very messy and didn't feel like a campus at all.

I entered through the East Gate and needed to register my ID card. The buildings at Peking University were still of the old style. There were not many students on campus because it was probably a holiday. I planned to have a meal in the Peking University cafeteria, but lunch was stopped at 1 o'clock. Oh!

Peking University, originally named Imperial University of Peking, is the first national comprehensive university in modern China. It is recognized as the highest institution of learning in China and one of the most important universities in Asia and the world.
In modern Chinese history, Peking University is the central birthplace of movements such as the "New Culture Movement" and the "May Fourth Movement". It is also the earliest place for the spread of various political thoughts and social ideals in China. It is known as the "barometer of Chinese politics" and enjoys a very high reputation and important position.

I went to Peking University today. It was already past noon when I got there. It was snowing. There weren't many people, but the scene was beautiful.

It was already afternoon when we arrived at Peking University. Tourists enter from the East Gate (just get off at the East Gate of Peking University on Line 4). When we went there, the East Gate was receiving students on an autumn outing, and the security guards asked individual visitors to enter from the two side gates in the southeast and northeast.
We entered from the northeast gate. The security guards at Peking University were very nice. There was basically no queue. We could enter by just swiping our ID cards.
There are many yellow bikes in the school (some of them are for Peking University students only, if you can't ride them, try another one). After riding the bike, turn right at the first intersection, and you will see the famous Boya Tower and Weiming Lake.
Ride around the lake and walk through several forest paths, and you will see two Huabiao standing opposite each other.
After crossing the bridge, you will reach the West Gate of Peking University, which is the most photographed. The West Gate is not open to tourists. We wanted to take a picture of the plaque before going back to the school, but we were afraid that we would not be allowed in after we left. So we talked to the security guy and he agreed. (Once again, I admire the humanity of the security guards of Peking University)
I would like to say here that if you can arrange your trip, it is best to visit Peking University in the morning. In the afternoon, the sun is backlit and the plaques will be in shadow.
After entering from the west gate, continue riding south and go straight along the road until you find the library. When we went there, the library was fenced off and being renovated.
A little further ahead past the library is the famous Centennial Lecture Hall.
Because we had to go to Tsinghua University soon, we took a few photos and left towards the East Gate.

I finally had the chance to visit Peking University, which I had always dreamed of. It was winter, and the Weiming Lake was frozen. There were no green trees around the lake, only bleak branches, but it had a unique flavor. The Beijing-style classical buildings on campus won my heart, but it was too cold. I felt like I was going to freeze as soon as I stretched out my hands. I didn't even hold my camera, so I didn't get to experience its profound culture in detail. I'll make up for it next time.

Take your time to walk and experience it! The scenery of Weiming Lake is charming, but the four seasons of Langrun Garden are also fascinating! February orchids are everywhere in spring, lotus flowers fill the pond in summer, yellow and red leaves are everywhere in autumn, and the remaining lotus leaves through the ice in winter are also charming! You can discover different beautiful scenery every day! You can feel it in a higher education institution!

The 32nd stop of the 2017 Spring Festival Beijing tour was on February 6 (the tenth day of the first lunar month). There were no signboards on campus, so travelers couldn't find what they wanted to see. This was worse than what Tsinghua University did.

I wonder if PKU, which has gone through more than 120 years of ups and downs, can still "follow the principle of freedom of thought and be inclusive."

My son's two teachers graduated from Peking University. Of course, I had to visit Peking University when I came to Beijing. I was deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery in front of me. The frozen Weiming Lake is so beautiful that it makes people's heart beat!

The No. 1 university in China. I didn't queue up to get in, mainly because it was too hot and there were too many people. I'll go there when it's cooler. Then I checked in at the door!
