The construction of the Yuan Dynasty capital began in 1267 and was completed in 1276. It has a history of more than 700 years. Its northernmost part was left outside the city when the northern wall moved south in the early Ming Dynasty. The remains of the city wall, which is more than ten meters high, can still be seen today. It is commonly known as the "earth city".
The Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park is divided into seven scenic areas: Double Capital Tour, Friends from All Over the World, Begonia Stream, Peace and Glory, Capital in Prosperity, Water Street Lanterns, and Dragon Lake Fish Leaping Scenic Area. All of these scenic spots reflect the charm of history and culture.
The park is planted with a large number of crabapple flowers. From April to mid-April, the crabapple flowers bloom and become the park's feature.
Xiaoyue River is the main water scenic area of the Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park. The park is divided into the Tucheng Ruins Protection Area on the south bank of the river and the green scenic spot construction area on the north bank of the river with Xiaoyue River as the center.
In 2003, in order to protect the ruins of the Yuan Dynasty capital and cooperate with the construction of Olympic landscape, the Yuan Dynasty capital city wall ruins park was completely renovated. The renovated park construction applied a new concept: the concept of "Green Olympics, Humanistic Olympics, and Technological Olympics"; the international concept of international bidding for planning and design solutions; and the latest garden lighting concept in Beijing.

It is a low earthen wall site on the side of the road (it should be very old and the bricks have been used for other purposes). If you are not a professional researcher, there is basically no need for outsiders to go and see it. It is divided into two parts: the North Earthen City and the West Earthen City. In addition to the earthen mound, some memorial sculptures and landscapes have been built in modern times, and the greening is also good. That's all.
🌸The spring breeze has taken off all the makeup on my face, leaving me with pity for the butterflies and bees. From now on, who can tell me what I mean? I give my spring love to the crabapple tree.
🌸Begonia, also known as Jieyuhua, its flower language is care and cherish. The flowering period is April-May.
🌸I was just in a mood, I went to take an exam on the weekend, and then I went to see the crabapple tree after the exam. I arrived right after I got out of the subway, and when I came to the river, I could smell the fragrance. The petals fell with the wind, like a pink rain of petals, so romantic!
Located near Beijing Beitucheng, the park is long and narrow, stretching 2 kilometers from Anzhen Gate in the east to Jiande Gate in the west. Xiaoyue River is beside it, and there are many crabapple flowers in the park. When the flowers bloom, they are as beautiful as a painting.
Although it is a small park at ordinary times, it is crowded with people during the crabapple blossom season in March and April. The crabapple flowers are all over the creeks in the park, so this is also an important place for flower viewing in Beijing in spring.
Forgive me for not knowing the crabapple tree and only seeing these blooming cherry blossoms🌸.
A very long free park. Like the cherry blossoms in Yuyuantan, the crabapple flowers here are also unique in Beijing! Every early to early April, clusters of crabapples bloom, forming a sea of flowers! It's so beautiful!
Beijing's open street parks have many scenic spots. The scenery is beautiful in spring and it is a good choice for a walk.
One day, when I was taking the subway, I passed by Beitucheng Station and saw the sign saying Yuan Dadu Ruins Park. As a fan of Jin Yong and a fan of The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, I have a deep affection for Yuan Dadu, so I went to see the Yuan Dadu Ruins after leaving Ditan. As a result, there was nothing, just a park along the river and a section of a modern-looking city wall, as well as a stone tablet.
Yuandadu Park has crabapple blossoms in spring and golden ginkgo trees in autumn.
The Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park is an open park on the street in Beijing, stretching for 9 kilometers. In the third year of the Yuan Dynasty (1266), Kublai Khan decided to rebuild a new city in the northeast of the original Zhongdu City, and construction began in 1267. The palace, imperial city, altars and temples were built with Qionghua Island (now Beihai) as the center. In the ninth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1272), it was named Dadu, and in the twenty-first year (1284), it was fully completed with a circumference of 28.6 kilometers. After conquering Yuan Dadu in the first year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1368), the northern city wall was retracted about five miles to the south, and the remains of the city wall were more than ten meters high, commonly known as the "earth city".
"Begonia Stream" is one of the ten scenic spots in the park, with more than 5,000 begonias of 28 varieties, including Xifu, Venus, Snowball, Flame, Louisa, Spring Snow, Pink Roof, Pink Handkerchief, Kells, Adam, Indian Magic, and Doug. In March, strolling along the ancient moat, the time is beautiful, the begonias are intoxicating, and it seems as if you can hear the sound of his iron cavalry and see the chivalrous and tender feelings of the past.
There are more than 5,000 precious crabapples of 28 varieties in Haitanghuaxi, which is the largest crabapple garden in Beijing with the most varieties. The tall crabapple flowers are enough to build a flower corridor.
When the crabapple blossoms bloom, the whole park is filled with a fragrant aroma. Walking along the path under the trees, pale pink buds emerge from the tender leaves, and the flowers are so dense that they even block out the sun. Even if you take a walk at night, the fragrance of the flowers makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment of comfort brought by the flowers.
The crabapple blossoms in spring, and it is really beautiful here.
The crabapple flowers in Yuan Dadu are very beautiful when they are in full bloom. The area is quite large and there are many varieties of crabapple flowers.
The crabapple blossoms in Yuandadu Park are a sight to behold in Beijing in spring. The crabapple blossom stream has the most varieties, and they are now in bud.
Dust returns to dust, earth returns to earth, the Mongolian cavalry that once swept across the Eurasian continent has become history, and only two huge mounds of earth remain of the sturdy Yuan Dynasty capital, as if still telling of its past glory.
Every year in early spring in April, this is my favorite place. I used to come here often to play, walk, and chat with my friends at that time... the simplest happiness, the most unforgettable memories. The most beautiful Begonia Stream should be avoided by the crowds, and every memory should be carefully preserved.
Here, from March to April every year, it is the season when crabapple blossoms. The vast sea of flowers really gives off the artistic conception of "I know it is not snow from afar, because of the faint fragrance".
The long-renowned Begonia Stream is indeed worthy of its name.
It's much more beautiful than cherry blossoms. The white and red flowers of the crabapple are so beautiful. They are so pink.
Yuan Dadu Ruins Park is a place for people to rest and exercise all year round.
The most beautiful is the peach blossoms in spring, one yellow and one red in late autumn
The Yuan Dynasty Capital Ruins Park is located in the northern and western sections of Beijing's Second Ring Road. There are nice greenways along the river for citizens to relax and exercise. The ginkgo trees and yellowing leaves along the road in autumn are also a beautiful sight.
It's very close to the hotel, you can go for a walk, the scenery is very good
The whole park is crossed by a river, and willow trees are planted on both sides of the river. Willow catkins are floating everywhere, which is very beautiful. The ground is white and the environment is very quiet.
I went there once last winter on a weekend, but I only went to the western section and looked for the "Jimen Yanshu Monument". As a public park in the city, it is quite good, and many people go there for walks and dog walks~
I didn't expect it to be such a beautiful place. Although it is famous, it is far less crowded than Yuyuantan. It is worth a visit.
I went there during the Qingming Festival in 2016. Some of the crabapples were in bloom. I walked east along the river from Beitucheng on Line 10. The crabapples blossomed from buds to full bloom. The ones west of Anzhenmen Station were the best. Most of them were Western crabapples. The weeping crabapples and Indian magic crabapples had not yet bloomed. There were two pink handkerchiefs that were in very good bloom. There were quite a lot of people, but there were much fewer people than those who watched cherry blossoms at Yuyuantan. At least you could take selfies without seeing others. The park does not charge admission, which is great. There are a few toilets, and I didn't see any along the way. Maybe they are hidden deep? The winter jasmine blossomed very well, and there were also a few peach blossoms.
The beautiful Begonia Stream is really beautiful and worth a visit
The environment is good, you can see the Jimen smoke trees and the Begonia flower stream
Yuan Dadu Ruins Park is the Yuan Tucheng Ruins Park. The word "big" cannot describe the park, but "long" is more accurate. Starting from "Jiande Gate" and walking to the other end, it is 4.9 kilometers. Since it is called Yuan Dadu Ruins Park, there should be some relics such as "wild horses in the autumn wind", "lonely smoke in the desert", and "sunset on the long river", but there are none. There are no traces of the palaces, no traces of the dance halls, and even no "decent" ruins.
A very inconspicuous national cultural relic protection unit. Take the subway and exit at Anzhen Bridge. It looks like a park by the river, and the small earthen slope inside is the ruins of the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty. It is a very green and quiet place. It takes a while to walk all the way down. You can quietly feel the glory of the great Qianyuan here.
The Yuan Dynasty Capital Ruins Park is a strip-shaped park with Xiaoyue River as the main line. It is the first snow in Beijing. I am very happy to take pictures of the snow. The landscape design is a relatively mature design in China. It is necessary to come in every season, cherry blossoms, autumn, snow scenery... A place worth visiting, and there is no ticket.
Get off at Anzhenmen Station on Subway Line 10 and exit at Exit C. It is a sea of flowers in summer. It is also unique in autumn. It is free and a good place for morning jogging.
The Yuantucheng Ruins Park is long and narrow, stretching from the Peony Garden to Huixin West Street from east to west, and built along the moat. The park was originally located where the city wall of the Yuan Dynasty was, but now most of the city wall has been destroyed, with only some earth mounds vaguely visible.
The main landscape inside the park is the moat and the riverside trail. The two banks are well greened and have more vegetation. Middle-aged and elderly people often have fun and relax in the park. It is a good place for local citizens to relax and have fun. Every April, the crabapple flowers on both sides of the river will bloom, and the park will also usher in its peak tourism. The fallen petals will float on the water and flow downstream with the water of the moat. This scene is called "Begonia Stream". In seasons other than spring, since the park itself has no obvious characteristics, it is not recommended for tourists with tight schedules to make a special trip.
Yuantucheng Ruins Park does not charge admission fee. You can reach the park by taking Metro Line 10 and getting off at Xitucheng or Beitucheng Station.
Yuan Dadu is a park in Beijing. It covers Haidian District and Chaoyang District in a long strip. The park runs along Xiaoyue River. The park is open to the public free of charge. In spring, Begonia Stream is a popular attraction for Beijing locals. Located in the third section of Chaoyang section of Yuan Dadu, the river is full of begonias, with petals floating in the river. When the spring breeze blows, the petals fall down. It fully reflects the beauty of spring. The viewing period of Begonia Stream is April, and the Qingming Festival is the best choice. You can take bus No. 653, 620, 409, Special 2, 694, 380, 515 and get off at Anzhen Hospital North Station to arrive. The park has average scenery in summer, but it is the best choice for a stroll at home. In autumn, the Xitucheng section of the park in Haidian is a good choice for autumn viewing: the ground is full of fallen leaves, the ginkgo trees are yellow, and the leaves falling in the wind are also full of artistic conception. In addition, the autumn scenery of Beitucheng West Road outside the park is also good. Early November is the best time to visit the park, and there are fewer people. You can take buses 653, 658, 84, 579, 94, 21, and 601 and get off at the South Gate Station of Tayuan Community. In winter, after the snow, the park is covered with iron trees and silver flowers, and the scenery in any section is very beautiful.
In spring, the crabapple blossoms here are very beautiful. The winter jasmine and cherry blossoms are also in bloom. It is so beautiful.
It is a place for leisure and entertainment for nearby residents. It is most beautiful in spring when the crabapples are in full bloom.
It is particularly beautiful when the apricot blossoms bloom in spring. It is an open leisure park.
One of the famous scenic spots for spring outings, there is a Begonia Stream in the Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park. The Begonia Festival in the park is one of the three major flower festivals in Beijing in spring, along with the Peach Blossom Festival in the Xiangshan Botanical Garden and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Yuyuantan. The Begonia Stream is right inside the park. Exit D1 of Beitucheng Station on Metro Line 10 and go downhill. There is nothing to visit around. The long and narrow park is like a green belt that decorates the city, so there is no entrance fee. However, there will be security guards at the entrance of the park, mainly to stop some residents walking their dogs, but it doesn’t matter. Citizens still like to force their way through with their dogs. The crabapples and green willows on both sides of the moat complement each other. April is the best time to enjoy the flowers. You can see many citizens coming here to take pictures, go outings, and enjoy the baptism of spring.
The most beautiful thing about Yuan Dadu Ruins Park is the crabapple blossoms. The Yuan Dadu Crabapple Festival, the Peach Blossom Festival in Xiangshan Botanical Garden, and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Yuyuantan Park are known as the three major flower festivals in Beijing in spring. They are worth visiting. Yuan Dadu Ruins Park is very close to Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, so you can also see handsome men and beautiful women along the way!
I like to go to the park when I am bored on weekends. The environment of this park is average, but the characteristic is that it walks along the river, giving me the feeling of an ancient town and water village.
I thought there would be many ruins in this park, but all that was left was a long earth wall and the moat next to it.
The Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park stretches for thousands of meters from west to east, with Xiaoyue River flowing along it. It has beautiful scenery and lush vegetation. Every year when the crabapple flowers are in full bloom, there is an endless stream of tourists, making it a good place for people to go outing and enjoy the flowers. The park is open to the public free of charge and has convenient transportation, including subways and multiple bus routes.

It is hard to tell that this is a ruins. What you see is not ruins, but a quiet and peaceful park.
The Yuan Dynasty Capital Ruins Park is really large and has many varieties. Friends who want to visit it must pay attention to the flowering period. There is a place called Begonia Flower Creek. During the Begonia Flower Festival every spring, the Western Begonia and the Weeping Begonia compete with each other for beauty.
A long and narrow park built along the river. The trees are lush. When the crabapple flowers are in full bloom, the flowers are in full bloom, the fragrance is everywhere, and the fallen petals are colorful. The scenery is excellent.
A popular place for citizens to exercise, relax and date
In spring, the Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park is a flower-viewing spot that you absolutely cannot miss, because only here can you see the graceful beauty of the legendary "Begonia Flower Stream". In winter, the deserted city wall ruins are covered with yellow sand, which makes people sigh at the desolation. But in the blink of an eye, after the Waking of Insects, it is a completely different scene here - spring returns to the earth, everything revives, and it is full of vitality. You say you love this crabapple because it blooms enthusiastically; you cross branches and support leaves just to get her most brilliant embrace. You say that cherry blossoms are sad and beautiful, and they can only be eternal in determination; but the crabapples in front of you have never made you feel heartbroken. The petals dance in the air with the strong wind, stirring the soul and touching the heartstrings. You hurriedly reach out to catch them, but unexpectedly they are swept up by another gust of wind... Over and over again, the bright stream under your feet is dyed like snow and clouds.
Yuan Dadu Ruins Park - Don't look down on it just because they don't charge admission. In mid-April, its crabapple blossoms are in full bloom and visitors are shoulder to shoulder! Maybe you say that you come to Beijing to see historical sites, why see flowers? Beijing certainly allows you to see both ancient sites and flowers.
Yuan Dadu Ruins Park, every time you go there, there are new discoveries. The swords and shields reflect the specific weapons of the Yuan Dynasty.
It is a very quiet garden, stretching along a narrow stream. In spring, the Begonia Stream here is a sea of flowers, crowded with people, and very lively.
The park attracted citizens of all ages to come and enjoy the flowers and take photos. The flowers on both sides of the moat were in full bloom, giving the park a festive look. When the spring breeze blew, petals fell one after another, as if spring snow was falling. Visitors let the petals fall on their bodies and faces without brushing them off, enjoying the happiness brought by the beautiful petals.
Yuan Dadu Ruins Park is indeed a good place for cooling off, relaxing and exercising.
Along the way, I saw many people exercising, some walking, some running, practicing martial arts, Tai Chi, dancing, kicking shuttlecock, singing in chorus, etc. There are many tall trees in the park. Although it was noon and the sun was scorching, I could feel a little cool when walking under the shade of the trees. The only drawback is that the park is too close to the road, and the noise from the cars reduces the leisure index a lot.
The Yuan Dynasty Capital City Wall Ruins Park refers to the south side of both sides of the Beitucheng Station on Metro Line 10. The ruins were left over from the Yuan Dynasty, but the earthen walls of the Yuan Dynasty are long gone. Only some trees were planted on the ruins along the riverbank. With trees and water, the scenery is pretty good.
This park was built on the site of the Yuan Dynasty's Dadu, but traces of the site are no longer visible. The entire park is long and narrow, stretching from the Peony Garden to Huixin West Street, and is divided into two sections by Anzhen Road. It is open to the public all day, has no gate, and does not charge admission.
There is a long river in the middle of the park, with willow trees and cherry blossoms planted on both sides. You can rent a boat to cruise on the river, watching the cherry blossoms on both sides fluttering down like snowflakes; you can also walk along the shore, passing through the flowers and green willows.
The entire park is led by a water system. Although there are no entertainment facilities, it is an ideal place for leisure, strolling, and viewing flowers and the most important thing is that it is free all year round.
The transportation is also very convenient. The park gate is right after you get off at Beitucheng Station on Line 10.
People often call the Yuan Dadu Ruins Park Tucheng Park. The most beautiful time is when the crabapple flowers are in full bloom. There is a crabapple flower stream there, which is very beautiful. I go there almost every year.
This is the Jingdu Begonia Stream, where all kinds of begonias can be found, and the Western Begonia is especially famous. I have many feelings about begonias, and I think it is related to the poem I read in junior high school: "I am afraid that the flowers will fall asleep late at night, so I burn high candles to illuminate their red makeup." This is the lot drawn by Xiangyun, and every year it comes, it is a piercing pain. Today, because of the need for the thesis, I read the plot in Gao E's sequel about the dead begonia blooming again, and I feel a kind of enchanting and mysterious beauty.
Although there is only one flower, it represents the sorrow of thousands of beauties.
Still stinging.
Tear up beautiful things for you to see
Watching the glory collapse
The beauty of it all
It is incomparable to any other prosperity.
The evening banquet of beauties is the last joy in the Grand View Garden of Youth.
That night, all the flowers opened their eyes
Deep in the night, gradually deepening
Fight decline with silence.
What is the similarity between rouge and flowers? The color of flowers is human tears.
The tear candle flickers as if it is short, bringing sorrow, hatred and separation.
It would be better to use a brocade bag to collect the beautiful bones, or a handful of pure soil to cover the romantic love.
