It turns out that my mother picked a good place, because when we were walking, we suddenly saw a yellowish color~

What a beautiful ginkgo tree. I didn't expect to see it here. I was very happy and kept taking pictures. The combination of light and shadow makes the scenery so beautiful.

There is a long corridor next to the park exit, a very nice corridor with an antique style. For someone like me with obsessive-compulsive disorder, this is my favorite.

Because the flower is shaped like a wine cup, it is commonly known as "golden cup flower" or "golden cup flower". Since 1996, Zhongshan Park has held a tulip exhibition, and tulips have made their debut in Beijing gardens. There are more and more rare and precious tulip varieties. In 2019, the "Phoenix Comes" Spring Flower and Tulip Flower Exhibition will successively enjoy 97 varieties of nearly 240,000 world-famous tulips and bulbous flowers such as daffodils and grape hyacinths.

Flowering period: early April to May

Route: Ximen→Houhe→Yuyuan→Nantanmenwai→Tanghuawu→Laijinyuxuan

A great value place with a royal style. It only costs 3 yuan, and you can learn a lot of historical knowledge deliberately.

By Winter is over |

The scenery of Zhongshan Park is nice, but there is not enough time to visit it in Beijing in such a short time!

By Mugemanduo |

The park is popular with locals. It is very comfortable and you can take some good photos.

The flowers in Zhongshan Park are very beautiful. We went there a little late, and the tulips 🌷 were out of bloom, but they were still very beautiful. The East Gate is close to the Forbidden City, next to the moat, and the willow bank is very beautiful. It was pleasant and leisurely to take a rest next to it. It felt great to go out and stroll under the corner of the Forbidden City.

The tulips in Zhongshan Park are in full bloom on the weekend. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The only drawback is that there is a long queue to buy tickets, there is only one person selling tickets, and there is no WeChat ticket purchase or other quick ticket purchase! There is no sense of service!

On April 8th, after the exam, I made an appointment with my friends. My favorite tulips were in bloom. They were so beautiful. I couldn’t describe the surprise. Of all the flowers, I love tulips the most, especially the white ones…

By A silly bear who loves traveling |

The annual tulip exhibition is crowded, but the flowers are beautiful and worth a visit.

By Love blue bear |

Close to the Forbidden City, it is also a good place to enjoy flowers and visit the garden.

Beijing's Zhongshan Park is just to the west of the Palace Museum. It is the Altar of Land and Grain from the Ming and Qing dynasties and should be considered a part of the Forbidden City. Today's Zhongshan Park is still a very good open park with very low ticket prices. There is also a blind date corner inside.

By Old heartedu |

Friends who like flowers should not miss the winter and spring seasons in Zhongshan Park, where orchids, wintersweets, tulips and other fragrant flowers are blooming.

By Waterweed Man |

What impressed me most about Beijing's Zhongshan Park was the thousand-year-old trees.

Zhongshan Park is right next to the Forbidden City. You can rest and go boating in Zhongshan Park. If you are old, I recommend going there. There are many flowers and plants there, and you can go boating. What's so special about boating? It goes around the Forbidden City on the moat!

1. Spring

When spring comes, tulips are everywhere in Zhongshan Park. Inside and outside the red walls, along the corridors, under the pine and cypress trees, there are flowers everywhere. It is a special experience to come to Zhongshan Park to watch the tulips in bloom.

The origin of the tulips here has special international diplomatic significance. In 1977, when Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands visited China, she presented tulips as an elegant gift to the Chinese people. Tulips, as the angel of friendship, came to our ancient country from the gardens of Western Europe. Since then, tulips have become a symbol of friendship between the Chinese and Dutch people. These tulips presented by the Queen of the Netherlands have been planted in Zhongshan Park in Beijing.

Autumn

While the south is still clinging to the tail of summer with its green everywhere, the autumn in Beijing is like an overturned palette, rendering the world vividly. Lao She said: When autumn comes, Beijing becomes Beiping again! Paradise on earth is just like this. Shi Tiesheng said: The yellow flowers are elegant, the white flowers are noble, the purple flowers are warm and deep, and they are blooming in the autumn wind. Yu Dafu said: If I could keep the autumn in the north, I would give up two-thirds of my life in exchange for a third of it.

If you were to ask where you can’t miss places in Beijing in autumn, you can go to faraway places and see big ones, but you can’t miss Zhongshan Park in the city.

Golden ginkgo,

The red walls,

Full of historical vicissitudes,

Yet still romantic.

Kids playing skateboards,

Couple holding hands,

An elderly man in a wheelchair,

The weight of history,

It cannot conceal the strong breath of life.

Beyond the wall is the Forbidden City

Inside the gate is the Sheji Altar

Less hustle and bustle of the world,

There is an extra sense of peace.

Everything is just right!

A relatively large park, a good place for leisure and exercise, the ticket price seems to be a few yuan. In winter, there are yellow wintersweets in the garden, which are quite special. There is also a greenhouse plant museum with many kinds of flowers.

By Shevon_Hae |

The ticket to Zhongshan Park is really, really cheap. We used our student ID cards to pay three yuan to enter the park. The tulips were blooming beautifully, the air was fresh, and I saw many people doing morning exercises. This lifestyle may be what I most yearn for.

By "Painting the City with a Pen" |

It is best to go in early April, when the tulips are in full bloom, very beautiful. When I went there in late April, the tulips were a little withered. I went there again in early April the following year, and it was a good time.

By Jing |

If you want to see tulips in Beijing, please forgive me for only knowing Zhongshan Park. They bloom in March and April every year, and more in April. Although the flowers are protected by ropes, they still attract many tourists and photography enthusiasts. There are all kinds of varieties and colors, so it's okay to just wander around.

The Sheji Altar, which originally belonged to the Forbidden City, is located on the left and right of the Imperial Ancestral Temple. It is relatively quiet.

By Ji Xifeng |

It's quite big, but it's not in bloom, but it's still green in winter, which is nice.

By City Shuttle |

Zhongshan Park is the original Sheji Altar. Tickets are very cheap and there is a dating corner inside. You can go there to join in the fun.

I have been to Beijing many times, but this is my first time to Zhongshan Park. Fortunately, I have my wife, who is an expert on the capital, as my tour guide.

It's a very good tourist attraction. After all, it is a park in the historical ancient city. I recommend you to go and see it.

The park is named after Chinese revolutionary pioneer Dr. Sun Yat-sen

By Quiet Place |

Zhongshan Park is famous for its peonies and tulips, and it is worth going there during the flowering season. There are also many people. It is located to the west of the Forbidden City. It doesn't look big, but you still have to walk around for a while after entering.

By 然 後 |

Every city seems to have a Zhongshan Park. I went there in August 2016. The air was very good in the morning and the sky was particularly blue.

A large park next to the National Palace Museum. After the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, his body was placed in the Zhongshan Hall. Hence the name Zhongshan Park. Unfortunately, the Zhongshan Hall is currently under renovation.

In fact, this was originally the Altar of Land and Grain, with five-colored soil. It was the place where the emperor offered sacrifices to the God of Grain and the God of Land every year.

The memorial archway at the entrance was originally built to commemorate the German ambassador to China who was killed by the Boxers. Later it was changed to commemorate the defense of peace. It is worth seeing.

By China-TravelNote users |

The park is very big, with beautiful trees and flowers. Most of the cherry blossoms have fallen this season, but there are still a few that have not withered. It feels good to stroll around in it, but don't take the cable car. You can't see anything. It's not necessary. If you want to lose weight, add WeChat 174102977

I originally wanted to go to the square and take a stroll around, but I didn’t expect to see the whole garden full of blooming tulips, contrasting with the ancient pines and cypresses. It was so beautiful. There were also peonies... The garden is not big, but it is really a different world. It was a beautiful trip!

By think |

You can also walk to the Forbidden City. The blue sky, red walls and yellow ginkgo trees are just right.

By Slowly return |

I went there in the morning, and there were few people. In fact, the Forbidden City is right outside this place.

By Deep and Quiet |

The tickets are cheap, the park is very quiet, there are few people and the greenery is good, it is perfect for a rest and recuperation, which is in sharp contrast to the crowds at Duanmen.

It is definitely worth a visit, close to the Forbidden City, with a superior geographical location and charming scenery.

Zhongshan Park is separated from the Forbidden City by a wall. It is a memorial classical temple garden. Zhongshan Park was originally the Sheji Altar of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Together with the Imperial Ancestral Temple, it was built according to the ritual system of "left ancestor and right community" since the Zhou Dynasty. In 1925, Dr. Sun Yat-sen passed away. A public memorial service was held in the worship hall (now Zhongshan Hall) in the park. In 1928, it was renamed Zhongshan Park to commemorate this great pioneer of the democratic revolution.

It's not a particularly large park. It's a good place for a walk. The ticket price is not expensive. There are many old trees in it. There are some small signs on the trees. It's also good to stand under the trees to learn about it.

The Forbidden City Royal Park brings out the beauty of traditional Chinese ancient gardens to the extreme

By La libert |

The Tulip Festival in Zhongshan Park in April and May is worth seeing. Usually, only the thousand-year-old cypress in the park is quite unique. So it is recommended to go in spring, when tulips, crabapples, lilacs and other flowers are in full bloom, which is very beautiful, especially tulips, which are rare in China. According to legend, the flower bulbs were presented by the Dutch princess (now the queen) when she visited China and were planted here.

Zhongshan Park is a good place to take pictures of plum blossoms. In 1928, Feng Yuxiang's subordinate He Qigong, the then mayor of Beiping, and other patriotic people renamed it Zhongshan Park in memory of Sun Yat-sen, because his remains were placed here after his death.

The ticket price is 3 yuan on weekdays, and the combined ticket price of Tanghuawu and Huifang Garden is 5 yuan; during the Spring Flower and Tulip Flower Show (April 10 to May 10 every year), the ticket price is 10 yuan, and the half-price ticket is 5 yuan. The park next to the Forbidden City is quite interesting and commemorates Sun Yat-sen.

By Love |

Zhongshan Park, the place of childhood memories, still seems so familiar now. Tanghuawu still has the strong fragrance of flowers that you can smell when you enter the door. It is late autumn now, and the chrysanthemums in the flower house are in full bloom.

The scenery of Zhongshan Park is also beautiful. The snow has not melted yet. We kept taking pictures on the grass, on the rockery, and on the top of the pavilion on such a short road. The tulips in the park are very beautiful. There is a tulip garden party every year. Strolling along the tree-lined avenue, dense tulips bloom quietly on both sides of the narrow path, and the fragrance is fragrant. When my friend and I went there, the flowers were in full bloom. There are many varieties of tulips, and the eyes are overwhelmed.
