Chongqing Chaotianmen Square

One of the “Top Ten Cultural Symbols of Chongqing”, it is located at the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River on the Yuzhong Peninsula in Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is a hub for both rivers and the largest water passenger terminal in Chongqing.
Chaotianmen was once one of the 17 ancient city gates of Chongqing. Three Gorges cruises, sightseeing boats, and ferries to Foreigner Street all depart from here.
The night view of Chaotianmen is also very beautiful. When the lights are on at night, it is particularly beautiful. In front of you is the brightly lit pier and the colorful cruise ships shuttling back and forth.
·This is also the place where the “zero kilometer” sign of Chongqing Highway will be located at Chaotianmen Square.

I added a local Chongqing travel agency online on WeChat and bought ferry tickets. I bought the Jiaoyun Manjianghong ferry for 138 yuan, which is 60 minutes. It seems the others are 45 minutes. I walked from Jiefangbei to the pier, picked up my ferry ticket at the ticket office, and then wandered around. I saw the Raffles City, a 25 billion yuan investment. At the pier, the ferry was stunning, resplendent at night. Chongqing's nightscape is truly stunning; no wonder it's called the "City That Never Sleeps." Also, dress warmly; it can be chilly on the riverbank at night.

You can go to the second or third floor of the boat. There is also a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance on the second floor. I chose the 7:30 flight, and it was basically dark when the boat left. You can also spend 30 to buy some watermelon and cantaloupe, as well as tea, coffee and other snacks. There is also a VIP area on the third floor, which costs 80 per person, but I didn't think it was interesting.

When I arrived, there were road constructions and a drizzle. This is the legendary Chongqing, right? After getting off the bus at Xiaoshizi, I finally found my way there, asking around and making many detours. Two skyscrapers are under construction here, and they're expected to become new city landmarks. At Chaotianmen, you can take a two-river boat tour. Time is limited, so I'll save it for my next trip to Chongqing.

If you like cyberpunk, you will have the opportunity to capture that feeling on the way to Chaotianmen (I recommend Cotton Street, but I didn’t find a particularly good photo spot due to time constraints). Chaotianmen started demolition and construction 4 years ago and is still under construction. In addition, the scenery of the confluence of the two rivers in winter is not obvious, so it is not recommended to arrange a visit to this attraction in the near future.

By Echo |

I don't know if there is a better way to get to Chaotianmen. In fact, you can just walk near Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. There is a section of road under construction along the way. Anyway, walking was the only option at the time. It was neither close nor far, but it was quite tiring to walk there.

I read in a travel guide before that the two colors of river water can only be seen in clear weather. Although it didn’t rain in Chongqing today like the previous two days, the sky was still gloomy, so I was a little worried. However, my worries were unnecessary. Even though the weather was bad, I could still see the yellow Jiangling River and the green Yangtze River intertwined, which were clearly separated but finally merged into one.

Chaotianmen is now a cruise ship terminal, and it is quite busy with people coming and going.

I came here because of its fame, but was disappointed. My father has seen many movies and TV series, many of which were filmed at Chaotianmen, so he was eager to see it in person. However, upon arriving at Chaotianmen, I discovered that the large staircase that once led directly down to the river was gone. The security guard said it had been demolished long ago. I believe that many historical objects carry the memories of generations, and they should be well preserved and maintained in their original state.

Chaotianmen is where two rivers meet: the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. It's said that on clear days, you can clearly see the dividing line between the two rivers. Although it was cloudy when I visited, if you looked closely, you could still tell the clearer water on the left was the Jialing River, while the more turbid water on the right was the Yangtze River.

Chongqing Chaotianmen Wharf, once a landmark in Chongqing, is now overshadowed by the imposing buildings of the Raffles City, seemingly losing its original meaning. The wharf, resembling the bow of a giant ship, seems even more rustic. Still, it's a symbolic landmark of Chongqing, so it's worth a visit.

Chaotianmen, one of Chongqing's 17 ancient city gates, is located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers and serves as Chongqing's largest waterway passenger terminal. On a clear day, the dividing line between the two rivers is clearly visible: the yellow line is the Yangtze River, the green is the Jialing River.

One of the ancient city gates of Chongqing, the largest water passenger terminal, and the confluence of two rivers.

The Jialing River, which stretches for more than a thousand kilometers from Fengxian County, Shaanxi Province, merges into the mighty Yangtze River here, with the black and yellow rivers performing the Chongqing version of "clear distinction".

However, apart from this, there seemed to be nothing special to see. The only things on the turbid river were tourist boats using loud speakers to solicit passengers.

Chongqing Chaotianmen, located at the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River on the Yuzhong Peninsula in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, is one of Chongqing's seventeen ancient city gates. To the left of Chaotianmen, the Jialing River merges into a stream. The emerald green waters of the Jialing River collide with the brownish-yellow waters of the Yangtze River, creating a swirling vortex with a distinct separation of clear and turbid waters, creating a spectacular "Horse-Catching Water" phenomenon, resembling a wild horse's mane. To the right, the Yangtze River, after receiving the Jialing River's waters, surges even more majestically, flowing through the Three Gorges and into the Yangtze and Han Rivers, a vast expanse known as the Yangtze River's "Golden Water Section."

Take Line 1 directly to Chaotianmen Station at Xiaoshizi Station. After exiting, follow the crowd downhill and head straight to Raffles City. Six years ago, there was nothing here, and in just a few years, it's become so spectacular. Looking up at Raffles City from the outside, it's quite impressive. Rumor has it that they're building a spacecraft or space station on the top floor, offering a bird's-eye view of the Jialing River and surrounding area. I'm really looking forward to it. Drinking tea and eating dessert while gazing down at the scene below is incredibly captivating, right?

To get to Chaotianmen Square from Raffles City, you can simply walk through the Raffles City mall and take the next elevator. I remember when Raffles City opened, the news reported it was packed. I wondered if Chongqing residents didn't even have to go to work? Hahaha~ I experienced it myself this time, and it has everything from food and drink to entertainment and shopping, with all sorts of dynamic experiences and new retail stores aplenty. It's truly extraordinary. (The floor felt a little shaky when I stepped on it, was it because there were so many people that day?)

The cruise ship at Chaotianmen Pier was receiving a steady stream of tourists. Tickets that day were 158 yuan per person. We didn't go aboard, as we were short on cash. However, overlooking the Jialing River from Chaotianmen Pier was a unique experience, and it provided me with plenty of material for my travelogue. Every time I see the Chongqing Grand Theatre across the way, it reminds me of a Transformer or some advanced mutant weapon, majestic and commanding, guarding every mountain, river, and tree here.

Chaotianmen Gate is located at the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers in northeastern Chongqing. Originally titled "Ancient Chongqing's Great Pass," it was once one of Chongqing's 17 ancient city gates, making it a must-see attraction. Without further ado, here's the guide:

1. Take Metro Line 1 to Xiaoshizi, then Exit 8. You'll walk along a small path along the Yangtze River until you reach Chaotianmen Square. The route is quite winding. There are many buses to Chaotianmen. Buses 372 and 382 from Nanping get off at Jinhaiyang Station, the final stop. Buses 401, 151, and 461 from Jiangbei get off at Chongqing Hotel.

2. There are three city sightseeing routes, round-trip between Jiefangbei and Chaotianmen Wharf, with a fare of 10 yuan each. The first route runs from 18:00 to 21:20, from Jiefangbei T480 Bus Station (Lailong Lane) to Chaotianmen 9th Wharf Bus Station. The second route runs from 18:00 to 21:20, from Jiefangbei Xiaoshizi Bus Station (Diwang Square) to Chaotianmen 9th Wharf Bus Station. The third route runs from 20:00 to 23:30, from Chaotianmen 9th Wharf Bus Station to Jiefangbei T480 Bus Station (Lailong Lane).

3. Chaotianmen cruise ships depart in shifts from 19:30 to 21:00, but the 20:30 one offers the best views. The journey takes two hours and costs 110/80 yuan for a luxury boat and 98/68 yuan for a standard boat. There are options for meals included or not. Prices are 10-20 yuan lower in the off-season.

4. The biggest attraction of Chaotianmen Square is the "Jia Ma Shui" (horse-shaped water) phenomenon, where the emerald green waters of the Jialing River collide with the brownish-yellow waters of the Yangtze River. Other attractions include the Fu Gui Stone, Ciyun Temple, and the Liangjiang Bridge.

5. Restaurants not to be missed: Zeng Laoyao Fish Restaurant, Lao Hu Zao Ding Guo Mian, Yu Yang Xuan, Da Chang Lao Hot Pot, Da Tong Street Pu Gai Noodles, Hai Ke Hui Hotel, Chongqing Hotel Wei Yi Xuan Chinese Restaurant, Spicy Noodles, Shi Wei Xuan, No. 9 Private Restaurant, etc.

By Star Kong 5 |

On the left side of Chaotianmen, the Jialing River gathers small streams and flows into small streams. The emerald green water of the Jialing River collides with the brown and yellow water of the Yangtze River, creating a whirlpool with a clear distinction between clear and turbid water, forming a "Jia Ma Shui" landscape. Its momentum is like a wild horse parting its mane, which is very spectacular. After the Yangtze River on the right side receives the water of the Jialing River, its momentum becomes even more mighty, passing through the Three Gorges, connecting the Yangtze and Han Rivers, and rushing for thousands of miles. Since then, it has been called the "Golden Water Section" of the Yangtze River. Chaotianmen is one of the nine gates along the river in Chongqing. It is located at the southeastern tip of the Chongqing Peninsula. The low-water spit is 160 meters above sea level, which is the lowest altitude in the urban area. The Jialing River, one of the nine major tributaries of the Yangtze River, merges with the Yangtze River here and rushes for thousands of miles into the East China Sea.

By Doudingna |

At Chaotianmen, you can see the yellow Jiangling River and the green Yangtze River converge. This is one of Chongqing's seventeen ancient city gates. Chongqing is the source of the Three Gorges, a truly remarkable tourist destination, welcoming tens of millions of tourists annually. To meet the immense demand, Chaotianmen's several major docks are filled with a variety of Yangtze River cruise ships. A massive building, Raffles City, is currently under construction here, rumored to be Chongqing's tallest building. Even after parking, it takes several dozen minutes to walk to the docks. This time, Chaotianmen didn't seem as vast as it had seemed on previous visits. The taller buildings did make the square appear smaller, but the river was still clearly visible.

Chongqing Chaotianmen, located at the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River on the Yuzhong Peninsula in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, is one of Chongqing's seventeen ancient city gates. During the Southern Song Dynasty, when the Song Dynasty established its capital in Lin'an (present-day Hangzhou), imperial edicts arrived via the Yangtze River at Chaotianmen, hence the name. Chaotianmen serves as a hub between the two rivers and is Chongqing's largest waterway passenger terminal.

In May 2016, Chaotianmen was selected as one of the "Top Ten Cultural Symbols of Chongqing".

Um... I recommend going to see the night view... Because it's a big pier, and there's also a big shopping mall under construction. The weather was not very good when I went there, so there really wasn't much to see during the day. The night view is probably pretty good~~

By luomeiruyu |

I wanted to see the scene where the two rivers meet, but unfortunately I couldn’t see it today... However, looking at the Jialing River and the Yangtze River up close still gives people a sense of grandeur.

By Walking on the snow |

After leaving the Yangtze River Cableway, I checked the navigation and it seemed to be not far from Chaotianmen, so I walked there again. They say that if you haven't visited Chaotianmen, you haven't really been to Chongqing. Chaotianmen was once one of the 17 ancient city gates of Chongqing. It is now actually a huge square and pier. Three Gorges cruises, sightseeing cruises, and ferries to Foreigner Street all depart from here. Because the weather was not ideal and the distant view was not clear, I didn't take any photos of the river view, and the scenery can only be kept in my mind. During the tour, there were many scalpers at the pier asking if you want to take a boat. The fee was about 100 yuan, and it seemed that you could bargain. The content was to cruise the two rivers! Anyway, there is nothing special to see during the day, so if you want to take a boat, you should choose to do it at night~

By incredible |

I don't know if it's because it's been covered in smoke from construction sites for a long time or it's just too old, but Chaotianmen looks a bit old. I climbed up Chaotianmen Square under the scorching sun and looked out at the riverbank. I was so sunburned that I stayed for a while and then left.

By ordinary |

Chaotianmen Square is built on top of the pier. From a distance, it looks like a huge ship sailing on the sea, majestic and imposing. Therefore, Chaotianmen Square is also known as the Titanic of Chongqing.

The weather was a bit cloudy, so I couldn't see the confluence of the two rivers. The Yangtze River is very wide after it meets the Jialing River. Anyway, I feel that everything in Chongqing is very unique.

The night view of the mountain city is so beautiful when you visit the two rivers. It was so cold in winter that I hesitated for a long time and finally went to Chaotianmen to take a boat. I was shivering with cold, but the night view was beautiful. I feel it is still worth it.

Thinking Chaotianmen could be reached by Line 1, and since it's difficult to see the river at night, I headed there to see the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers converging without merging. The subway currently only goes to Xiaoshizi Station, and after getting off, there's still a bit of a walk to Chaotianmen. However, the views of the Yangtze River along the way are quite pleasant. The Yangtze River is on the right, the Jialing River on the left. The water on the left is clearer, while the water on the right is more turbid. Both appear slightly yellowish to the naked eye, likely due to the swirling mud and sand from the rain. However, you can still see the cyan hue on the left and the reddish hue on the right, creating a clear demarcation.

It's very beautiful. There are Suzhou and Hangzhou above and heaven below, but none of them can compare to the brilliant lights of Chongqing.

Yes. It really is a door... God knows how much we wanted to laugh when we saw it after a nearly two-kilometer walk through a throng of people. Travel guides can't be so deceiving. Looking out at the Chongqing Grand Theatre from afar, we all agreed that it looked an awful lot like an engine.

By Big Devil |

It's really not easy to get here. I walked for a long time. It's very beautiful at night. It's a big pier. You can take a boat tour of the two rivers. It takes about 40 minutes to see the night view nearby.

The confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River. However, when I went there at that time, I couldn't see the confluence of the two rivers. I probably wouldn't be able to see it if it was cloudy or rainy during the day.

There were many cruise ships docked at the pier, but I didn't take one because they were too expensive. Some people say that people go to Chaotianmen not for the purpose of taking a cruise, but to wander around. Yes, I wandered around just to check in. Road construction was going on everywhere, so maps and navigation were basically useless. I sat on the steps by the pier, enjoying the breeze, playing with my phone, and taking in the flowing night view of Chongqing. It was very pleasant, and I was in a trance until it started to rain.

You can take a panoramic photo of the riverside scenery at Chaotianmen to capture the effect of Chongqing as a forest city.

Chaotianmen subway station isn't open yet, so we took the bus to Xiaoshizi and then walked quite a distance. The main reason for coming here is to see the confluence of two rivers. The Jialing River on the left is green, while the Yangtze River on the right is more yellowish, with a dividing line in the middle.

By Xu Xiaojiao |

Due to construction, the route is quite bumpy and requires a lot of walking. River-viewing hotels are being built on both sides of the Yangtze River, and future development is expected to be very good. I recommend buying tickets online for a night cruise on the two rivers, which offers a unique experience.

By Sliverdew.D |

Many people were walking at night. I had taken the ferry many times but didn't buy a ticket. I just walked around. But the night view was nice.

I think the name is really cool, and I instinctively think it's a blessed place. I looked it up and found out it was the place where imperial edicts were received during the Southern Song Dynasty... It's really cool. Of course, its location is also very impressive, at the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River, which gives it a particularly majestic feel. In my opinion, besides Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, this is also a famous landmark in Chongqing.

By Jay |

After eating at Hongyadong, I recommend visiting Chaotianmen in the evening, then taking the Yangtze River Cableway to the other side of the river. While most people think of visiting Nanshan Yikeshu, I personally recommend taking photos at the confluence of the two rivers directly across from Chaotianmen. The Grand Theater will be even more beautiful if it's lit up at night. (Note that the Yangtze River Cableway closes around 10:30 AM, so be mindful of your time, as it's a bit far from the aforementioned photo spots.)

Chaotianmen, located at the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers on the Yuzhong Peninsula in Chongqing's Yuzhong District, originally bore the inscription "Ancient Yuxiongguan" (Guyuxiongguan), and was once one of Chongqing's 17 ancient city gates. After the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) settled in Lin'an, imperial envoys would occasionally pass through this gate from the Yangtze River to deliver imperial edicts, hence its name.

To the left of Chaotianmen, the Jialing River converges into a small stream. The emerald green waters of the Jialing River collide with the brownish-yellow waters of the Yangtze River, creating a swirling vortex with a distinct separation of clear and turbid waters, creating a spectacular "Jia Ma Shui" spectacle, resembling a wild horse's mane. To the right, the Yangtze River, after receiving the Jialing River's waters, surges even more majestically, flowing through the Three Gorges and connecting to the Yangtze and Han Rivers, a journey of thousands of miles. This stretch of water has since become known as the Yangtze River's "Golden Waterway." Chaotianmen, one of Chongqing's nine riverside gates, is located at the southeastern tip of the Chongqing Peninsula. Its low-water spit, at 160 meters above sea level, is the lowest point in the city. The Jialing River, one of the Yangtze River's nine major tributaries, joins the Yangtze River here, flowing thousands of miles into the East China Sea. Chongqing is a key port on the Yangtze River, known as the "Golden Waterway," and a central economic center on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Every day, thousands of tourists are transported here to explore the magnificent Three Gorges, and tens of thousands of tons of cargo are handled.

Chongqing governs nine districts, nine counties, and three municipalities. The Yangtze River flows through five districts, two counties, and two municipalities, covering 248 kilometers of water. The Jialing River, on the other hand, flows through three districts, two counties, and one municipality, covering 137 kilometers of water. The urban area is surrounded by water on three sides and land on one side. The Yangtze River is 6,380 kilometers long, but only 3,194 kilometers are navigable. Upstream, only small boats can navigate the 795 kilometers. Downstream, it's 2,399 kilometers to Shanghai, 1,274 kilometers to Wuhan, and 648 kilometers to Yibin. The famous Three Gorges of the Yangtze River are located in the Chongqing-Yichang section, making Chongqing a prime starting point for exploring the magnificent Three Gorges.

I really regret not bringing a book. Sitting by the river, enjoying the breeze and reading, how wonderful it would be! Now I can only listen to music, daydream, watch the people passing by, guess their stories, and wait for darkness. Soon, night finally falls, and I can see the lights slowly coming on. The few lights that remain illuminated by the twilight create a unique beauty, distinct from the nightscapes of Nanbin Road and Nanshan Yikeshu Mountain City. Tired of walking, I walked along the river toward Hongyadong and saw the playful subtitles on Nanbin Road: "Liberation Monument across the way, look over here!" I couldn't help but laugh.

By Blue |

From Pier 12, walk to Pier 5, where you'll find the Chaotianmen Observation Deck. If you use navigation, use the Two Rivers Night View Tour for a more accurate location. The sight of the archway confirmed your arrival. Enter through the archway and ascend the steps to the observation deck. The weather was clear and the sun was shining brightly. The Jialing River and the Yangtze River, one clear, one turbid, one green, one yellow, converged at a magical point. The sun's rays, reflecting off the clouds, were breathtakingly beautiful, so I snapped a few photos.

Chaotianmen is the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River in Chongqing. From the map, it is the most pointed place in Yuzhong District. There is really no particularly beautiful scenery here, but you can feel the momentum of the confluence of the two rivers.

The night view is charming when viewed from a distance on Nanbinbin Road at night

To witness the true confluence of the two rivers, you must catch a perfectly clear day. Of course, simply sitting at the confluence of the two rivers beneath Chaotianmen is also a delightful experience. With Jialing River and Three Gorges tours booming, you can witness the prowess of the "Bangbang Army" at the various Chaotianmen docks. Each "bangbang" carries the weight of their lives...

The scenery is good, I recommend going there, you can also watch it from the opposite Yuzhong Peninsula

It faces the confluence of two rivers. It is very spectacular to take a boat tour facing it at night. It is surrounded by the ferry to the Three Gorges. There are many docks for shipping, which need to be distinguished before boarding the boat.

The cruise first goes to the Jialing River and then turns back to the Yangtze River. It is mainly for seeing the night view of Chongqing. The cruise ticket management is chaotic. There are ticket sellers everywhere in the nearby streets. They are very expensive. The real affordable tickets are near Chaotianmen Wharf. The tickets in other places are about 30-40 yuan more expensive than the company-sold tickets.

At Chaotianmen Pier, I took a cruise on the two rivers and watched the night view.

This is where the two rivers in Chongqing meet, and I finally figured out the terrain of Chongqing on the last day.

I went to see the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River mainly because I was interested in geography. The scenic spot itself was not very interesting.

The Liangjiang Night Cruise is worth taking. The most popular spot on Douyin and the most beautiful night view of Chongqing can be seen on the cruise.

This attraction, I feel that there is nothing fun to do elsewhere. The problem is that I asked the ticket seller and he said the earliest boat will leave is 19:10, but I ended up waiting for an hour and it didn't leave until 7:40 pm. It was a bit annoying.

I had no idea what Chaotianmen was when I first arrived, but once I got there, I realized it was the cruise ship terminal. Since I was already there, I decided to take a ride. A daytime ticket was 80 yuan, and I bought a ticket called the Jinbi Palace from a vendor for 60 yuan. I'm not sure how much the night view ticket cost, but I didn't ask. It might be a third cheaper at the terminal. The cruise was only an hour long...

There are many cruise ships in Chaotianmen. There are different grades and prices. I like to take the cheaper ones, which seem to cost around 20 yuan.

The main attraction of Chaotianmen is the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. The collision of these two rivers creates a stunning natural landscape.

I didn't take the boat, but I saw Pier 5 where the two rivers meet. It's difficult to walk there by subway, so I recommend taking bus 440, which is closest to the pier.

I was born and raised in Jintang. When I was little, my father told me that Jintang's Zhaozhen was once one of Sichuan's four major ferry crossings. But aside from the occasional sand dredging vessel and fishing boat, I never saw any other vessels on the peaceful river. As the saying goes, there's always something better than what's best, and without comparison, there's no harm. Chaotianmen's Yangtze River port is truly extraordinary, leaving even a bumpkin from my small town in awe.

My biggest disappointment was, firstly, my lack of preparation and arriving too early to enjoy the night view at Chaotianmen. Secondly, the extensive construction surrounding Chaotianmen affected the view. I recommend checking online for current conditions before continuing. However, the guidebook mentioned that the night view from the Chaotianmen boat cruise is definitely worth experiencing. However, due to various circumstances, we missed this beautiful night view during our visit.

Chaotianmen is still under renovation. The building is in the shape of a sailboat. I heard from the locals that it has been completed for more than 3 years and it will take about 2 years to be built. The building has a peculiar shape, so you can only see the night view across the river from Chaotianmen Wharf and the square. It is still beautiful. There are too many people queuing up to board the boat to see the scenery at night, haha. If you go there during holidays, you should go early in advance.

The entrance to Chaotianmen Pier is very messy. Cars can only drive to the main gate. It is still a bit far to walk in. We were the only ones walking in at night. Tourists kept getting off the boat at Chaotianmen Pier and walking out to the main gate. Where the Yangtze River and Jialing River meet, there are many piers and trestle bridges, all numbered.

The river surface at night is empty and pitch black. Although it is pitch black in front of you, you can feel its vastness and expanse. I was really tired, so I took a taxi back. It was almost 11 o'clock in the evening. It was difficult to get a taxi at Chaotianmen. Maybe because it was late, there were no cars at all.

Chaotianmen Wharf is the largest water wharf in Chongqing.

To the left of Chaotianmen, the Jialing River converges into a small stream, flowing 1,119 kilometers before merging into the Yangtze River. Chaotianmen serves as a hub between the two rivers and is Chongqing's largest waterway passenger terminal.

Transportation: Take Metro Line 1 to Xiaoshizi and exit 8. Due to construction, most areas are fenced off and access is limited. You need to walk along a temporary path along the Yangtze River and finally reach Chaotianmen Square. The route is quite winding.

Don't take the subway, you have to walk a long way after getting off. There is a bus that goes directly to the entrance near Jiefangbei, which is more convenient. Also, there are construction sites all around, so there is not much scenery. I don't recommend it.
