Take bus No. 818 to Eling Station and walk 200 meters to Eling Park. The popular Nanshan Yikeshu (A Tree on Nanshan Mountain) overlooks the Yuzhong Peninsula from outside the island, while the Kansheng Tower in the park looks out from within the peninsula. The key advantage is the convenience of not having to cross the river. The park is free, and many residents enjoy dancing and playing cards there. Entry to the Kansheng Tower, though rather run-down, costs 5 yuan. Climb directly to the top floor for photos. If you're crowded, go down one floor for a similar view. The top floor can be quite windy, and there was some light fog that day, but it didn't affect the panoramic view of Chongqing. You can see the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers embracing the Yuzhong Peninsula.

Eling Park is located in Yuzhong District, Chongqing Peninsula. It is situated on a narrow mountain range that is sandwiched between the Yangtze River and Jialing River from north to south. It is the highest point of the Chongqing Peninsula and an excellent place to overlook the urban area of Chongqing.

Eling Park is the earliest private garden in Chongqing. Its predecessor was Li Garden, which was the villa of Li Yaoting, a wealthy businessman and the first president of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in the late Qing Dynasty.

Eling Park is sparsely populated by tourists, but instead attracts more Chongqing residents for leisurely strolls, making it a popular spot for tea. Upon entering Eling Park, one's first impression is the tranquility and fresh air. The park is filled with lush greenery and towering trees, so even on sunny days, you don't need to worry about being sunburned, as the shadows of the trees are everywhere. On clear days, sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a captivating scene. Perhaps due to the abundance of plants, even on hot days, walking through the park can feel refreshing, making it a great escape from the summer heat.

Eling Park is located at a very high position, from which you can enjoy the scenery of Chongqing city very well. It is one of the best platforms for overlooking the panoramic view of Chongqing. There are very few people there, unlike Nanshan Yikeshu, which is full of tourists. It is a good place to enjoy the scenery quietly.

Eling Park doesn't require an entrance fee, but there's a 5-yuan ticket for the seven-story Kansheng Tower, the highest point in Eling Park. Its rooftop is the highest point in Chongqing's urban area, offering a 360-degree view of the entire city. I visited during the day, but I imagine it would be a great spot for nighttime viewing. Up there, the breeze was strong, but it was cool, and there were seats where you could chat with friends and relax.



Recommendation: Eling Park and Eling No. 2 Factory are very close, so plan your visit together. Visit Eling Park in the evening. On a clear day, watching the sunset from the highest point in downtown Chongqing is a truly spectacular experience. You can also enjoy the night view after sunset. The park is open until 10:30 PM. For transportation, take Metro Line 1 to Eling Station. From Exit 1, walk a few minutes to Eling Park. There are also restaurants at the park entrance, so you can dine right there.

After arriving in an unfamiliar city, I always like to find a relatively high point to overlook the city. Eling Park has free transportation and is quite convenient 🚌, so I must go.

This park is neither big nor small, and the most important thing is: it is free.

There are many grandpas and aunts playing cards, chess, chatting, or just sitting there idle in the park.

Climbing up the mountain, I really feel like "looking down on all the mountains". It turns out that the buildings in the mountain city are so tall.

If time permits, it is best to come up before sunset. This way you can see the daytime, sunset and night view.

We hiked all the way up from Liziba to Eling Park. I initially thought we wouldn't have to walk too far, so I followed the Baidu Maps navigation. Later, I asked passersby if there were stairs I could take as a shortcut. After receiving a positive response, we began the long climb... If anyone else is taking a similar route as us, I strongly recommend taking a taxi from Liziba to Eling Park! While the scenery at Eling is beautiful, the climb is quite tiring. The Kansheng Tower in the park costs 5 yuan, and climbing to the 7th floor offers a panoramic view of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. If you want to return from Eling to Jiefangbei and Jiaochangkou, it's a short walk from the main gate to the subway station (the downhill walk from the Kansheng Tower to Eling is very short).

There is no entrance fee to the park🎫, because sunset waits for no one🌇, we need to quickly reach the vantage point, so we have no time to take in the scenery of the park.

The Land Rover Tower is at the highest point on the right side of the park. An additional ticket of 5 yuan per person is required to enter the tower. The name is very domineering, but it is just a small tower. Go up the spiral staircase to the top and you can enjoy the unobstructed view and photography of the city of Chongqing in all directions.

There is a platform upstairs where you can place your camera steadily to shoot slow shutter speeds 📷, and complete the composition and framing in advance. There are many photography enthusiasts on the top floor.

Eling Park actually has a very beautiful garden design, which is layered on the hillside. If you have time, you can spend 2 hours to explore the park.

The park closes at 21:00 in the evening, so bring mosquito repellent in the summer.

The transportation here is convenient. Take Light Rail Line 1 and get off at Eling Station. Walk out from Exit 2A, walk 300 meters along the uphill road on the left, and the park is on the left.

However, when you reach the end of the park, you'll be surprised to discover that it's a perfect spot for a panoramic view. A high stone embankment tightly encloses the portion of the park closest to the river. Trees grow wildly along the shore, as if deliberately obscuring the view of the river. It's a pity there are no willows, otherwise the impression of the graceful Jiangnan region would be more vivid. Chongqing is not a place of gentleness. Even its women are fiery, direct and unabashed, daring to love and hate.

Once you ascend the Kansheng Tower (Liangjiang Pavilion), no trees can obscure your view, truly worthy of its name. Towering nine stories high, the view offers breathtaking views of majestic, treacherous, vast, and beautiful natural scenery. However, the weather was not kind, and the fog was incredibly thick. Even though it was a sunny afternoon when I visited, the fog still lingered in Chongqing, hovering like a ghost across the basin.

Eling Park is about a ten-minute walk from the Second Factory. While the park is beautiful, most visitors head for Kansheng Tower to watch the sunset and night view. As dusk falls, the lights illuminate. The park is free, and the tower itself is a reasonable 5 yuan per person. However, there's no elevator, so you have to climb up, floor by floor. Each floor has a viewing corridor, and the farther you go, the higher you go. As the saying goes, "To see a thousand miles, climb to a higher floor." The stairs spiral upward, a thousand turns, seemingly endless, but you're actually getting closer to the summit. Mist rises over the river, like a shy veil. Scattered lights gradually light up amidst the haze. Some people have already launched their drones, eager to see from the highest point, overlooking the nearby residential buildings. Chongqing's rooftop projects are truly like gardens. Lights flicker as the day draws to a close, and Chongqing at night paints a picture of another world.

Because a tree blocked the way in Nanshan the night before, I didn't get to see the panoramic view of Chongqing. So I chose to stop by E'ling Park on the way to E'ling No. 2 Factory to see the panoramic view of Chongqing. The park is very average. The only place worth visiting is the Kansheng Tower, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Chongqing. However, the weather was not very good when I went there, with heavy smog, so the photos I took were average. I personally think the best weather would be the early morning of the next day after it rained at night.

Located in Yuzhong District, it is Chongqing's oldest private garden and the first park to achieve Class-A standard management after Chongqing's direct administration. Eling Mountain, nestled against the mountain city, rises majestically, overlooking the two rivers to the west, offering breathtaking views of majestic, precipitous, vast, and beautiful natural scenery. Eling Park is situated at the highest point of the Chongqing Peninsula. The towering Kansheng Tower (Liangjiang Pavilion) offers panoramic views of the two rivers, and at night, it's a perfect spot to enjoy the sea of lights. It's one of the best places to see Chongqing's nightscape. Unfortunately, my visit was foggy, so my photos aren't clear.

I like Eling Park a lot. The bird's-eye view is fantastic, and the park itself is worth a visit. The Tongxuan Stone Chamber inside is quite interesting. After a stroll, you can go to the Lansheng Building to see the night view. I read in travel guides that Lansheng Building requires an entrance fee, but when I went there was a sign saying no entrance fee, which means it was free.

Get up early and go to Eling Park to experience the morning life of the old Chongqing people. Many nearby residents come to the park to exercise and do morning exercises.

This is a great place to take pictures of Chongqing's scenery. In addition to the scenery during the day, it is also the best place to take pictures of Chongqing's night view at night.

Chongqing's river views are truly spectacular from a height, but the Yangtze River Cableway had long lines, and Nanshan Yikeshu was crowded. Ultimately, I opted for Eling Park for the river view. A five-yuan ticket to the top of the park's Kansheng Tower afforded a bird's-eye view of Chongqing's mist-shrouded riverscape. With the Yangtze River on one side and the Jialing River on the other, I could see the contrasting colors. Unfortunately, the fog obscured the water, making it a bit blurry, but one has to accept some imperfections. Eling Park itself is also beautiful, with its beautiful gardens and lush vegetation, giving it a distinctly Southern feel.

Eling Park was one of the best spots for viewing the Liangjiang River and the mountain city scenery before Chongqing became a municipality directly under the central government. It also houses some cultural relics from the Anti-Japanese War period, such as the Australian Embassy, the Danish Embassy, the Turkish Embassy, Feige, Tongxuan, etc. It is a must-see attraction in Chongqing and is open to tourists free of charge.

Eling Park, formerly known as Li Garden and also known as Yi Garden, was a private garden built by Li Zhanyang, a wealthy Chongqing businessman in the late Qing Dynasty, for his father, Li Yaoting. Today, Eling Park covers approximately 400 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) and stands 388 meters above sea level. Its prime location is known as "overlooking the Yangtze River to the south, the Jialing River to the north, Yuzhong District to the east, and Futuguan Pass to the west." Standing at the highest point, the Kansheng Tower, offers an ideal spot for admiring the two rivers and the night view of Chongqing. You can also see the popular Liziba Railway Station in the distance.

If you want to see the panoramic views of Chongqing without breaking the bank, this is a great place. The view from up high is truly breathtaking. If you can afford it, come later in the evening to see the night view – it's definitely worth the price. The park is also beautifully landscaped. It's highly recommended for leisure and entertainment.

After exiting the internet-famous Eling Second Factory, we continued along Eling Main Street until we reached Eling Park. The park was once a private villa, and in 1939, Chiang Kai-shek and his wife spent six months of their summer here. After a few stops, we arrived at Feige and spotted Meiling Coffee, so we stopped to rest. We each ordered a cup of tea and were pleasantly surprised to be taken to a private room off-limits to tourists. It was definitely worth the money, and there was even a free dessert. After a frustrating trip to Chongqing, I felt a renewed sense of hope.

What park should I visit in Chongqing? That's the question I hear most often. But Eling Park is a must! Climbing to the top of the tower and overlooking the entire city... rainy days are the true way to experience Chongqing! It's so beautiful. I highly recommend visiting the Hiroshima Garden in Eling Park; it's perfect for taking photos. When I was there, there were even people taking wedding photos there.

The people of Chongqing were quite welcoming and were more than willing to stop and listen to our questions, escorting us smoothly all the way to the entrance of Eling Park. Night falls slowly here, and the sky remains dim even after 7 p.m. Not long into our walk, we were greeted by a towering crimson tower rising against the dark sky. Like a ballerina in a red dress, her dark stage illuminated by a searchlight, it was undeniably striking and impossible to miss. This was Eling Park's Kansheng Tower, the park's best spot for nighttime views.

You can get a 360-degree panoramic view of Chongqing from the top of the tower. You can also see the night view. It is on the way to the Second Factory and is worth going up to see.

I decided to go to this place after watching the movie "Passing by Your World". The graffiti is actually in a very corner, which is quite artistic and suitable for taking pictures.

You don't need to buy a ticket to enter. Many flowers are blooming at the entrance. There are not many tourists on Monday, just a few residents taking a walk.

The weather was a bit gloomy, but the view was still great and the field of vision was very broad. The Jialing River and the high-rise buildings on the opposite bank were in full view.

The panoramic view of Chongqing unfolds here, offering a panoramic view of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers circling the Yuzhong Peninsula. Hence, it's also known as the Two Rivers Pavilion. Unfortunately, all this is just wishful thinking. Kansheng Tower was under repair when I visited, so I wasn't able to capture the night view as I had hoped. However, looking down from the adjacent plank road, you can also see the Liziba Light Rail passing through the building. Hiroshima Garden, built as part of a cultural exchange program between Chongqing and Hiroshima City, is a typical Japanese garden, embodying the purest Kyoto style.

Eling Park actually has quite a few relics from the Republican era. Its cultural history and garden aesthetics are its greatest draws. It's a shame, like the Kansheng Tower, most of them are under renovation. Wandering around with friends, we joked that this kind of place might not be frequented by local young people, but its quiet location makes it perfect for dating. Hahaha!



Tips: Except for the 5 yuan ticket for climbing the Kansheng Tower, all other entrance fees in Eling Park are free. It can be reached by Metro Line 2 or bus!

Although it was winter, the garden was still full of vitality. It had just rained that day, the sky was gloomy, the ground was wet, and there was rainwater hanging on the tips of the leaves. I could feel a chill when I stepped on the fallen leaves on the roadside.

Because the park is built on the mountain, the road from the park entrance all the way inside is uphill. It is very pleasant to appreciate the beautiful green plants along the way.

There were also newlyweds taking wedding photos, old ladies singing, and parents taking their children out for a weekend outing in the park. Standing at the fence on the hillside, you can overlook the skyscrapers and riverside buildings in Chongqing city. Unfortunately, the weather was gloomy that day, and the pictures I took were all gray.

There is also a place called Fun Garden. A tall ginkgo tree is covered with yellow ginkgo leaves. The paths and grass are also covered with ginkgo leaves. What a beautiful ginkgo picture!

Eling Park is one of the earliest gardens in Chongqing. It is wonderful to take a walk here away from the fast-paced city.

We arrived at around 4 pm. Eling Park is a small park based on the mountains for citizens to take a stroll. There is no special scenery in it. I advise everyone to give up the delusion of walking on flat roads when coming to Chongqing. We climbed to the highest point, where there is an observation tower with a 5 yuan ticket. As the sun set, the orange sunset gradually sank to the bottom of the river. The buildings around the Jialing River and the Yangtze River were lit up, and we could also see Eling No. 2 Factory and Liziba. At this moment, I felt the temperament of the humanistic architecture. In addition, there were not too many noisy people on the tower to affect the viewing experience, so it was a good experience.

Eling Park is a free park that overlooks the Jialing River at night. It also has a unique plank road. Climbing down the mountain from the plank road is Liziba to the Red Railway Station.

Choose a sunny day, go up to the top floor, find an empty lounge chair to sit down, feel the breeze, look at the blue sky and white clouds, and then look at the people standing in front of the stage enjoying the scenery: there are couples, a family of three, a lone traveler, a recent graduate, a tourist from out of town, a foreign friend, etc. People with their own thoughts, can't help but smile, and realize the truth: see through, don't say it out loud.

While it's called a park, it's actually just a collection of ancient trees, stone bridges, and a clear pond. The only place worth visiting is the Kansheng Tower in the northeast corner, and the 10 yuan entrance fee is well worth it. This six- or seven-story building, perched high above the park, offers stunning views of both the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. The scenery of Jiangbei District's south bank and Nan'an District's north bank is perhaps even more stunning at night.

It's best to take a taxi to get there, otherwise you'll have to walk a long way! There are a lot of shade trees inside, and you can see the Chongqing River view, which is worth a visit! The child fell asleep, so I didn't go to see the night view this time. I only took pictures of the river view at sunset. It's a pity that I didn't take pictures of the night view!

When I was in Chongqing before, I could only marvel at her magical ability to climb mountains and dive into the ground.

I chose Eling Park after hearing that Nanshan Yikeshu was always crowded. I was quite satisfied with my visit. Eling Park is a popular spot for Chongqing residents to relax and have fun. It's popular with fishing enthusiasts, and many people come out for evening walks and hikes after dinner. Even without climbing the Kansheng Tower, you can still overlook the two rivers from the park's highest observation deck. You can even see the Liziba Station on Line 2 passing through the tower. The view from sunset to nightfall is truly stunning. My phone can't capture the entire view, so I enjoyed it with my own eyes. I loved the feeling of looking down on Chongqing from a bird's-eye view.

Walking from Sanceng Road, past the Second Factory, to Eling Park was quite magical, especially the two luxurious residential complexes near the park, which gave it the feeling of being in a hidden gem. We didn't wander around Eling Park, but headed straight to Kansheng Pavilion for the night view. It's a 360-degree observation deck with multiple levels, and the breeze was pleasant. However, it's still a bit less impressive than Nanshan. The view doesn't fit together in photos, so I can only capture the Yangtze River or Jialing River separately. Of course, it's still pretty good from the naked eye. It's not as high as I imagined, and you can't actually see the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze Rivers.

Eling Park is free, and you can see the appearance of Chongqing inside. There are so many houses here, and it must be very beautiful at night.

No. 2 Factory is a magical place, especially suitable for taking pictures. Finding someone to take a picture of you at No. 2 Factory is like looking for a blockbuster. The park is located in a residential area, so visitors are rare. Local elderly people hang out in groups of three or four, chatting and singing. The highest, Wangjiang Tower, costs 5 yuan, but I gave up on the idea after seeing its height, the dilapidated exterior, and the gloomy sky. I strolled around the park's perimeter, along the mossy stone paths carved into the cliffs, listening to the elderly women sing to the river and watching the elderly men play chess on the rope bridge. That was the end of my visit to Eling Park.

It was a bit tiring to climb up along the road, and it took about half an hour. I asked a kind uncle and he said there was a shortcut. My friend and I were so happy at that time. After thanking the uncle, we came to that small road. But there was no tourist on the shortcut, and the gloomy woods were very slippery after the rain. Halfway up, my friend said she didn’t dare to climb up, but I still insisted and encouraged her, saying that we were almost there. So the two of us still plucked up the courage to climb up. We came to several abandoned houses, and several broken windows creaked in the mountain wind. It was really gloomy, and it felt like we were in a ghost village. My friend and I rushed forward to escape from here. Finally, we arrived at the road and took the bus to Eling Park. It turns out this city holds a unique charm beyond just hot pot. Perhaps every person, every event, and every beautiful sight encountered along the way could become an unforgettable experience.

The main destination is Kansheng Tower, the highest point in the park. After exiting Eling Station, navigate to Eling Park and follow the signs to find it.

You don't need to buy a ticket to enter the park. Once you enter, there are very few people, and it is shaded by green trees, quiet and cool.

Walking down the road, you'll see this tower (actually called the Range Rover Tower) on the hill above the park. I'd read in the guidebook that you need to buy a ticket, but we couldn't find any. There was an empty chair at the bottom of the tower—could the ticket seller be away? So we headed straight up.

When we got to the top floor, the view was really great.

You can walk around the top of the tower and see in all directions.

The entire Eling area offers attractions like the Kansheng Tower in Eling Park and the Eling Printing Factory No. 2. Both served as filming locations for the film "Passing By Your World." From Jiefangbei, take Metro Line 1 to Eling Station. From there, the winding uphill road to Eling Park offers stunning scenery. Eling Park is generally peaceful, with occasional sights of elderly men playing chess and elderly women square dancing. From the Kansheng Tower, you can take in the entirety of Chongqing.

Take the train from Xiaoshizi Subway Station to Eling Station, then ascend the steep slope to Eling Park. Eling Park, located on Changjiang 1st Road in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, gets its name from its resemblance to a goose's neck. It's the oldest private garden in Chongqing and the former villa of Li Yaoting, a wealthy merchant and the first president of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in the late Qing Dynasty.

It is said that the night view here is good, but I didn’t have time, so I went to see the day view. Let’s learn about the foggy Chongqing~

The park is the earliest private garden in Chongqing. It seems that several celebrities have lived here.

Our tour guide was honestly not very reliable. He took us all the way from the park entrance to the top of the park, and then asked us to see the Liziba subway station and the light rail passing through the building. After that, he didn't explain much about the history of the park and took us out directly.

The second picture below is a relatively high place in Chongqing, where you can overlook the city of Chongqing. However, the weather in Chongqing is always foggy and it is not very clear.

Getting to Eling Park requires a long climb uphill. Once you reach the park entrance, you still have to climb up to the Kansheng Tower for the night view. It was exhausting and I was sweating profusely, but the temperature felt quite comfortable. I really admire the people of Chongqing for wearing so many coats, big and small. The Kansheng Tower ticket is 5 yuan, and you'll reach the top, maybe seven or eight floors. I can't count, but it's quite lively.

I climbed to the roof at 19:30 and looked at the so-called million-dollar night view, which was just okay.

Eling Park is the earliest private garden in Chongqing

There are many people taking photos and graduation photos, and all kinds of professional props are moved in.

I have no interest in the park's attractions. I only went to the highest point, the Land Rover Building, to see the night view. The ticket is 5 yuan and only cash is accepted. The sun sets a little slowly in summer, and the wait is a bit long. I even felt a little sleepy sitting on the bench on the top floor in the wind. The fog was a bit thick, so the sunset was not very beautiful. It was worth it to see the night view until dark.

The vegetation in Eling Park is very lush. Local elderly people are playing cards under the trees. Going further up, there is a tower built in the 1970s and 1980s. You can go up to enjoy the view and see farther.

Eling Park is small. Formerly known as Liyuan (Li Garden), it was the villa of Li Yaoting, the wealthy merchant and first president of the Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in the late Qing Dynasty. Located at the highest point of the Chongqing Peninsula, it offers a stunning view of the entire city. Admission to the park is currently free, with only the entrance to the Land Rover Tower costing five yuan per person.

It was almost noon when we arrived at Eling Park. The park was full of elderly people playing poker or mahjong, and there were also many elderly dance troupes dancing.

The process of climbing up to the overlooking building was really heartbreaking. I climbed two floors and took a break, but I couldn’t feel the end. The panoramic view of Chongqing was pretty good, but everything was hazy. I don’t know if it was fog or haze!

It's very close. Turn left after exiting the subway and walk up for a few hundred meters.

In Eling Park, you can savor its beauty. You can sit on a stone bench and daydream, or gather around a card table set up by locals and watch them play cards, or even climb a height to gaze out into the distance. In short, all of these will make you feel relaxed and happy.

Eling Park is just a park, full of elderly people playing cards and drinking tea. I was just wandering around when I saw a set of stairs and thought I'd go see what it was. And then, what the heck, I was standing at the top of the mountain!

It is also a good choice to come here to see the night view if you don't want to be crowded at night.
