With a history of nearly 2,000 years, it is famous for its various underworld buildings and shapes. It consists of the Ghost City and Famous Mountains Scenic Area and the Ghost King Stone Carving Scenic Area.
Inside the city, there are many buildings that represent the underworld, including the Hengha Temple, the Emperor's Hall, the Naihe Bridge, the Yellow Spring Road, the Wangxiang Terrace, and the Medicine King Hall, which are very realistic.
The scenic area is lush with trees, and there are inscriptions of famous people from past dynasties such as Su Shi, Lu You, and Fan Chengda, which you can appreciate one by one.

I visited Ghost Town from Chongqing on a luxury cruise ship. The entrance fee was originally 290 yuan, but it ended up being free. This attraction sits on the Yangtze River, with lush green mountains and a pleasant view. However, the attractions are uninteresting. It's all newly built, with no historical buildings at all. There's talk of its past, but no historical architecture. There's a cable car available, which costs 30 yuan round trip or 20 yuan one way. Well, it does require some climbing, with many stairs. Elderly or less physically fit individuals would recommend taking the cable car. It's not a long walk if you're not in a hurry. The cable car is on the right, the stairs are in the middle, and the left side is a gentle slope, accessible by car, and the descent is also a gentle slope, with no steps. Speaking of pitfalls, the short one is that they force you to cross the Naihe Bridge in the middle, just to get you to take photos and make money. Then there's the "Medicine God for Safety" and "God of Wealth for Prosperity," all while asking you to buy incense and burn it. The tour guide's explanation wasn't very good either, just asking you to follow her instructions and buy incense or pay money whenever she asked. Overall, it's a boring place. It's not interesting at all. The tour guide keeps using ghosts and the King of Hell to scare people, haha.
Then we came to the Mingshan Ghost Town Scenic Area. Since everyone had been to the scenic area before and the 90 yuan ticket was too expensive, we just wandered around the ancient town for a while and did not enter the scenic area. This trip to the cliff road did not cost us a penny for tickets, which was really rare.
Due to the epidemic, there are very few tourists in Fengdu Ghost Town, and the ancient town feels dilapidated and declining.
Fengdu, also known as Fengdu and Youdu, was the "Bazi Second Capital" in ancient times.
The boat docked at the north bank of the Yangtze River, which is the first tourist attraction along the Yangtze River Three Gorges.
This renowned historical and cultural city, originating from the Han Dynasty, boasts a history spanning over 2,000 years. It is also known as the "Ghost Capital," the "Kyoto of the Ghost Kingdom," and the "Hometown of China's Divine Comedy." It is said to be the "Hell," the final resting place for the souls of the dead. Therefore, the Ghost City is renowned for its various underworld-inspired architecture and designs.
Fengdu Ghost City, formerly known as Fengdu Ghost City, was the ancient "Second Capital of the Ba people." Established as a county in the second year of the Yongyuan reign of Emperor He of the Eastern Han Dynasty, it boasts a history of nearly 2,000 years. Located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Fengdu County, downstream from Chongqing, it is a popular tourist attraction for Yangtze River cruise passengers. Fengdu Ghost City is also known as the "Underworld Capital," the "Ghost Kingdom Capital," and the "Hometown of Chinese Divine Comedy." It is famous for its various underworld-themed buildings and designs. Fengdu Ghost Town is very famous, but it is actually similar to ordinary temples. The scary parts are charged separately.
Built on the mountain, you can take a cable car up there. The price is reasonable, but the sculptures inside are very artificial.
A must-see attraction for any Three Gorges tour: a cluster of ancient buildings reminiscent of a ghost town, complete with statues of demons and monsters. It's a manifestation of ancient folk beliefs. The addition of a number of new electronic gadgets near the ancient buildings is rather boring.
In 1998, when the Yangtze River was ravaged by floods, I still went to the Three Gorges. I was really young and fearless.
Fengdu Ghost Town, located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Fengdu County, is a popular tourist attraction for Yangtze River cruise passengers. It's also known as "Youdu" or "Ghost Kingdom Capital." Our hotel is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, not far from the ferry terminal, so we decided to take a boat. However, if you're traveling by car, it's more convenient to drive.
There is a cable car in the scenic area, but it is not recommended if you are not physically challenged. Because the scenic area is not very large and there are no high slopes.
The attractions are average, there are too many man-made things, and they are not very interesting.
The ghost town is close to the Yangtze River. Generally speaking, the mountains are not too high, and the scenic spots are concentrated. It has great cultural value. I saw the Five Cloud Tower, the Three Lives Stone, the Naihe Bridge, and the Wangxiang Terrace on the mountain. The weather was good when I went there. I saw lush trees with branches and leaves on the mountain. I also visited the Taoist temple and met my relative who is a relative of the emperor. I was very happy that day. In the end, I met Yama and the Eighteen Hells under his jurisdiction. It was a good attraction worth seeing, a veritable ghost town. Finally, in the choice between life and death, we reluctantly returned home. It was great.
It feels like a cultural attraction that can be developed in the long term, but the buildings are half new and half old, and the style is messy and feels very strange. The whole time I listened to the tour guide talking about various sales products on the loudspeaker, and I felt that there was nothing to see when I walked around on my own. It largely disappointed my expectations.
Beautiful night view, hot food, I love you China
It has local characteristics and the environment is good, but there are too many artificial things

Fengdu Ghost City, God of Hell protect me
There are official guides in the scenic area, and then there are all kinds of tricks. You can buy a hundred-child cake when you worship Guanyin, buy cinnabar when you worship the King of Hell, buy comic books to learn about the history of Fengdu, and pay tips when you see an old man holding an iron lump. Of course, the above are not mandatory, but it feels like it's full of tricks when you come to Fengdu Scenic Area for tourism. Moreover, most of the buildings in this scenic area are new, not ancient, so it is not very worth seeing. Among Wulong, Dazu, and Fengdu, this scenic spot is the worst. Finally, let me talk about the managers of the scenic area. You collect 100 yuan for the ticket price of the scenic spot, but don't think about how to improve the humanities of the scenic spot and serve tourists well. Your head is full of tricks. I advise the managers of the scenic area that you are also a 4a scenic spot. Don't do those things that deceive the people under the nose of the King of Hell, and really improve the humanities of the scenic spot. After all, the King of Hell is your superior!
The cruise ship offers free attractions, so it's a good idea to visit here.
I don't know how to describe it, but it was pretty average for the trip. There weren't any natural sights, and there wasn't any cultural atmosphere. It was just a conceptual trip.
The overall feeling of the scenic area is average. It was all built by modern people, and from the construction style of the sculptures and temples, it can be seen that the original intention of the construction was obviously to create tourist attractions. I even suspect that some stories and legends are made up by the scenic area itself to attract tourists. The only highlight of the scenic area is the picturesque scenery overlooking the two sides of the Yangtze River from the mountain. It was drizzling when I went there, and the mountains were shrouded in clouds and mist, which was very magnificent.
Tickets are half price at 50 yuan. Scenic spot staff will dress up as Black Impermanence, White Impermanence, drunkards, gamblers, etc. to greet tourists at the door.
The ghost town I visited when I was a child had the underworld and the Naihe Bridge, which looked like a real ghost town. Unfortunately, it has been demolished. Although the ghost town today has a long history and rich ghost culture, it always feels like something is missing...
Visit Fengdu before you die and experience the hellish underworld, stepping through the Ghost Gate, crossing the Naihe Bridge, drinking a cup of Mengpo soup, walking along the Yellow Springs Road, ascending the Wangxiang Terrace, witnessing tortures like walking on a knife mountain, being plunged into a cauldron of oil, having one's eyes gouged out and one's heart disemboweled, and finally paying homage to the King of Hell before crossing the Yin-Yang boundary and returning to the living world. This feeling is truly unique, offering a sudden enlightenment and a profound understanding that will be unforgettable.
I have longed for Youdu. When I was a child, I could only see the ghost town in games. Now I finally got my wish and it did not disappoint me. When I went there, the cable car was just being built. I believe it will be more convenient to go up the mountain in the future. I don’t have to climb the stairs anymore. It’s really tiring.
The Fengdu Ghost City is still an ancient city, not a modern one, so now, whenever I encounter stories about monsters and ghosts, the physical images of the Fengdu Ghost City flash through my mind.
The entrance fee to the Fengdu Scenic Area is 100 yuan, but it's 95 yuan if you buy it online. We decided to come at the last minute and missed the deadline to buy online. During the National Day holiday, the ghost town still had a lot of activities. Upon arrival, we caught a free parade of black and white people and a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance. Little Niuniu was amazed. Upon entering the scenic area, the ghost town is truly a ghost town, with an eerie atmosphere. This is probably because Fengdu is located at a low altitude and has abundant vegetation, with many century-old trees, which have accumulated a lot of negative energy over time. The child was quite sensitive and burst into tears, refusing to go up the mountain, saying she was scared. In the end, we had to promise her some toys to coax her up. I researched Fengdu legends, and both monks, Taoists, and laymen have their own stories. On the mountain, there's a Buddhist temple dedicated to gratitude and a Taoist temple dedicated to the God of Wealth.
Fengdu Mountain, a ghost town, a riverside scene, and a heart-wrenching pain
The first attraction to visit after getting off the ship is the place of ghost culture
Fengdu Ghost City, formerly known as Fengdu Ghost City and also known as "Youdu," is a historical and cultural city dating back to the Han Dynasty. It's said to be the "capital of the ghost kingdom" and the "hell," the final resting place for the dead. Beyond being a legendary ghost town, it's also a treasure trove of folk culture and art that integrates Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, and is one of the most famous cultural attractions along the Yangtze River Golden Tourism Route.
On January 26, 2018, my family took a bus from Fuling to Fengdu. At the train station, we boarded a bus bound for a scenic spot—a rather shabby one, to be exact. We arrived at the scenic spot, which boasted great reputations, but was rather disappointing. Why are so many of China's Taoist holy sites no longer living up to their reputations? The scenic spot was undergoing major civil engineering work, and they were building a cable car on a relatively low mountain? Speechless; the one-hour tour was over.
Not recommended! The guide at the scenic spot looked like she had plastic surgery—double eyelid surgery, nose augmentation, and dyed her hair yellow! I saw it once before, during a trip to the Three Gorges in 2007, and found the man-made attractions boring. In 2015, during a tour of this 1,900-year-old ancient city from Chongqing, I listened to the explanation of the Ghost Town, the Temple of the Son of Heaven, and found it quite interesting. This year, I skipped the Dazu Rock Carvings while visiting Chongqing, so I brought my family back and was deeply disappointed. The professional guide at the scenic spot is like a shopping guide, guiding visitors to buy incense, donate money for turning the rocks, and buy comic books about ghosts. She'll talk endlessly about anything that pays. The Temple of the Son of Heaven is under renovation, so only the exterior is visible. We asked her to share a few anecdotes, but she just shrugged, saying, "I can't even see it, how can I? Can't someone who works there for hundreds of days a year recite that?" We later learned she was in a rush to eat and had no time to explain. She spent the entire trip frantically on her phone and WeChat. I'm truly impressed by such unprofessional guides! They're still applying for 5A status? Chongqing is so well developed, and one bad apple spoils the whole broth. With the group having guests from all over the country, word of mouth will spread, and this attraction won't have a good reputation. I really don't recommend this attraction!
Victoria Kaina No. 171228 optional attraction, average. Ghost culture theme park, the statues are rather crude. This attraction is preparing for 5A rating. Isn't the 5A rating depreciating too quickly? The local guide, Ms. Xia, explained it well and spoke fluent English.
I don't want to comment on this attraction. It's just a small hill with some artificial stone statues of ghosts sitting inside. The ticket price is 100 yuan, which is a rip-off!
The tour guide's explanation was very good and the local specialties were delicious.
If you're visiting Chongqing and have some free time, consider this a major attraction. Fengdu has a long-standing legend of being the entrance to the underworld. It's not a large area and can be explored in an hour. There's a lounge for relaxation.
I went there during the Qingming Festival (Qingming Festival). The entire county was bustling with activities, and the locals were welcoming and down-to-earth. Getting to the ghost town required a boat ride, which was quite novel for me, a kid who grew up in the northern plains. I only spent the day in the ghost town, but I hope to explore other areas next time.
This place is a pit! The tour guides induced tourists to buy, buy, buy... It turned into a shopping tour. A place with many stories has been run down like this. Disappointing 😞. I also saw a woman carving words with a sharp tool in front of the Chinese and foreigners. It's really shameful.
Fengdu Ghost City, formerly known as Fengdu Ghost City, is also known as the "Underworld City," the "Ghost Kingdom Capital," and the "Hometown of Chinese Divine Comedy." During the Spring and Autumn Period, it was called the "Bazi Second Capital." With nearly 2,000 years of history, it is renowned for its various underworld-inspired buildings and sculptures. Comprising the Ghost City Famous Mountain Scenic Area and the Ghost King Stone Carving Scenic Area, the city boasts numerous structures representing the underworld, including the Hengha Shrine, the Emperor's Hall, the Naihe Bridge, the Yellow Springs Road, the Wangxiang Terrace, and the Medicine King Hall.
Fengdu Ghost Town is an okay attraction, but the food nearby is too rip-off, especially the spicy chicken nuggets from Mrs. Hu. The seasoning is made of at least a pound of red oil and water, and they sell it to customers at the price of chicken nuggets. It's better not to go there, it's too rip-off.
Fengdu Ghost Town, Yaowang Temple, and things happening in the park.
Just looking at it, nothing particularly interesting.
I've admired this ghost town since childhood, but upon arrival, I found it wasn't as spooky and eerie as I'd imagined. Naihe Bridge, Ghost Gate, and the Hall of Yama on Huangquan Road are all genuine ancient buildings, so they weren't particularly special. After all, ghosts and gods are merely reflections of the human world. Personally, I think the most impressive part is the Hall of Yama. The blue walls are rare in traditional ancient architecture. The statues of Yama, the Ten Ghost Messengers, and the Eastern and Western Hells on either side are all lifelike. It's not scary, but rather solemn and majestic. In fact, the statues throughout the ghost town are quite authentic. The current ticket price is 100 yuan, which I find a bit pricey. They're currently being upgraded, so I expect prices to increase in the future. Instead of burning incense, the Hall of Yama burns bamboo slips, which cost 69 yuan each. Transportation is a bit inconvenient; there's no direct bus service. When I visited, I got off at the scenic area intersection and walked 2.5 kilometers. Finally, a word about the tour guides: their quality varies widely, from excellent to perfunctory.
Ghost town... Famous mountain under heaven... Laughing at the world's scholars... Souls buried in Beili City... Actually, the current ghost town was built later. The old ancient buildings were flooded when the Three Gorges Dam was built! I don't know if that's the case, but the current ones were definitely built later. In order to create a 5A scenic spot, all the ghost-related materials were integrated into the scenic area. Massive construction is going on on the famous mountain! It's said that there's a hotel behind the huge hat of the giant statue of the King of Hell. I wonder how the people staying in the hotel feel... It was long past dinner time... As soon as I entered the famous mountain under heaven, many people pulled me to eat. I fell in love with the ghost wonton at first sight. I've never tried it before, but after eating it, I didn't feel anything special. It was just ordinary!
I wandered around the little shop at the entrance, and it really had a certain atmosphere... All sorts of masks... I just wandered around the entrance and didn't buy a ticket to enter. You can imagine what it's like: Naihe Bridge, Mengpo Soup, the Eighteen Levels of Hell, Black and White Impermanence, Yama, the underworld—eerie... and terrifying... And I just didn't think the 100 yuan ticket was worth it. There was only a statue of Bai Wuchang at the entrance... with "You're Here" written on his hat... It felt a bit eerie! This smiling Bai Wuchang is responsible for welcoming the souls of those who have done good deeds. "You're Here..." I didn't enter the scenic area, but wandered around the periphery. There's a complex of imitation ancient buildings built just outside the scenic area. It's huge, and I imagine the government will increase its publicity efforts, but I think it's overstated. Looking at these buildings built against the mountain, I guess one by one they end up with Yama! There is a bus that goes directly to the train station at the entrance of the scenic area, but it does not go to the entrance of the train station. You need to walk uphill for a few hundred meters! There is no need to share a car. There is no need to spend dozens of dollars on two yuan.
Anyone familiar with this place will undoubtedly also know that Fengdu Ghost City, like Baidi City, was relocated due to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. It's famous for its various ghostly scenes reminiscent of the underworld. Children should be aware that they should stay close to their parents when visiting.
I finally had the chance to visit Fengdu Ghost City, a place I'd admired for a long time. It was a very unpleasant experience. The legend was too different from reality, and there was no sense of horror or mystery. It was just like the old man in the sunset going to the temple to burn paper and worship Buddha. The tour guide said that people who are afraid should not go. I really thought it was scary, but it turned out to be extremely ordinary. There was nothing special about it. If there were any mysterious underground palaces, I would feel terrified. If there were any scenes that would linger in my mind for a long time after visiting, I would be scared just thinking about it. That's what I call cool. It's not worth the 100 yuan ticket. My feet are sore from walking...

The Fengdu Ghost Town Scenic Area is divided into the Ghost Town Famous Mountain Scenic Area and the Ghost King Stone Carving Scenic Area.
In December 2015, the Ghost Town and Famous Mountains Scenic Area was selected as one of the 30 best new tourist attractions in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
Not worth recommending. There is too little to see and appreciate.
Fengdu is China's most famous ghost town. I'm not sure how you learned about it, but I first learned about it from the Chinese RPG game Chinese Paladin 2. Later, I discovered it actually existed, and there are various ghost town tourism attractions. However, I didn't actually get the chance to visit until July 2016.
The Fengdu Ghost Town scenic area is located on the Yangtze River in Fengdu County, between Chaotianmen and Fengjie in Chongqing. It's just a bridge away from Fengdu County, but requires a detour and takes approximately 30 minutes by car. A boat from Fengdu Wharf to the Ghost Town scenic area costs only 2 yuan and takes about 10 minutes, as it's located just across the river. The boat departs as soon as it's full, so there's no need to worry about waiting, as it's still quite popular.
Let's talk about the scenic area. I don't remember the entrance fee because I got free admission. The Fengdu Ghost City Scenic Area consists of two adjacent areas: the Heavenly and Underground. The Heavenly area, called the Jade Emperor Temple, is completely optional; the entrance fee is high, and there's only a statue of the Jade Emperor to see. The rest is for burning incense and worshipping Buddha. Its only benefit is a clear view of the scenery across the river. The Underground area is where we'll visit the Ghost City. The architecture is modeled after the ancient Chinese ghost towns—basically, temples. The special thing about the Ghost City is that you'll learn about Chinese ghost culture and the underworld with your guide. If you're interested, definitely follow the guide; otherwise, it'll just be an ordinary park. It includes three famous landmarks: Naihe Bridge, Ghost Gate, and Yellow Spring Road. The entire area can be completed in an hour with the guide's explanation. Walking and taking photos on your own would be faster, but that wouldn't be that useful.
The delicacy in the ghost town of Fengdu is the ghost town spicy chicken. I didn’t eat it because my throat was sore when I went there. Tourists can go and try it.
Fengdu Ghost City, I admit I've read too many novels...
As the saying goes, "A walk through Fengdu brings you to ninety-nine." Fengdu, established as a county in 90 AD, boasts a history of over 1,900 years. Gradually, through the intertwining of the ancient civilizations of Bayu, the rich culture of the Central Plains, and foreign religious traditions, this region, through the long course of history, developed the ethereal concept that after death, the soul of a person undergoes different fates based on the good or evil deeds they committed in life, giving rise to a unique folk culture known as "ghost town culture." Various theories explain why Fengdu is known as a ghost town. The more traditional theory posits that two prominent local figures, surnamed Yin and Wang, achieved immortality through cultivation there. The term "Yin Wang" (Yin Wang) became synonymous with the residence of the Yin Wang, who naturally resided in the underworld, thus earning Fengdu a local reputation as a ghost town. Later, Fengdu's ghost town was featured in novels such as "Journey to the West," "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio," and "Three Words and Two Shots." As these classics spread, Fengdu became known as a national ghost town.
Fengdu Ghost Town. I bought tickets for the attractions on the boat and took a trip to the ghost town's hell. Mom and Dad held hands as they crossed the Couple's Bridge, haha. The red spider lilies beneath the bridge. My dad asked me what they were photographing, and I said, "The King of Hell is guiding the way," which made the surrounding tourists burst out laughing. The legendary Ghost Gate is just like this. From the ghost town, you can see the Heavenly Palace in the distance, where the Jade Emperor looks down on all living things.
It wasn't what I expected, probably because I went early and there weren't many tourists. It wasn't as fun as I expected. The entrance fee was very expensive. The mountain is divided into two parts, and the student ticket is 50 yuan for one side and 50 yuan for the other side.
Fengdu Ghost City is well-known, with countless legends of ghosts and monsters originating from this place. However, if you really come here, you will be greatly disappointed.
Fengdu Ghost City is also an old tourist attraction. It has everything that the legendary underworld looks like.
The ticket to Fengdu Ghost Town costs 100 RMB if you buy it alone, and 290 RMB if you buy it on the boat. It is said to include the boat's berthing fee, tour guide fee, etc. Moreover, you are not allowed to get off the boat if you don't buy a ticket on the boat!
Fengdu Ghost Town is a place we will all visit in the future. Let’s take a look at it in advance and get to know the way!
The architecture of the Tang Dynasty is quite distinctive, and the complete Ghost Gate is the only one in China.
Overall it's too small. There's nothing to play with after the Ghost Kingdom Shrine was demolished. I've wanted to come here since junior high school, and now I'm finally here because of college. I made a special trip from Hubei. I thought I'd play for a long time, but in fact I only played for two hours. I didn't need to take the tram after getting off the pier because it was very close. The attractions are okay. It would be much better if it were expanded. It's a pity that the Ghost Kingdom Shrine is gone.
It's not worth coming here. Everyone who has been here regrets it. My hundred dollars was wasted. It's so hard to visit. The scenery inside is just like the place where you burn incense. You can only see the Buddha. There is nothing else. It's so hard to visit. Not worth a hundred dollars. I will never come here again.
If you're not strictly focused on the A-rated attractions, you can skip Fengdu Ghost Town and Baidi City. These two attractions are at your own expense (not included in the ferry ticket) and don't seem to have a significant interest in the cruise company. The onboard staff won't constantly pressure you to pay.
Fengdu Ghost Town is a familiar sight to everyone. The familiarity here is only in the name; what lies within Fengdu's famous mountains is unknown. I initially thought the ghost town might be filled with all sorts of demons, ghosts, and other terrifying creatures. But it's not. It's more like a temple, leaving you feeling like you've been ripped off. I can't remember the exact ticket price, but if you take the high-speed train from Chongqing, you can get a discount if you keep your ticket.
I've heard of the ghost town a long time ago, but the ghost culture in the scenic area is not as exciting as expected. The cultural heritage feels a bit lacking!
A landscape that was flooded, relocated, copied, and rebuilt.
You can see the so-called hellish scene. Although it is a man-made landscape, it is still worth seeing with a tour guide.

The current Fengdu Ghost City attraction was built later; the original one has long since sunk to the bottom as the water level has risen. The tour is 30% visual and 70% narration. Our guide was very detailed, occasionally letting out some dirty jokes. We also saw a small performance, which was essentially a performance of strongmen. They asked for tips, but it didn't matter.

The environment is nice. The scenic spot is not worth 100. I feel it is worth 50 at most.
At first I thought Fengdu Ghost City was an ancient monument, but unexpectedly it was a newly built tourist attraction!
I don't recommend going to the ghost town, the ticket is 100 yuan; it takes an hour to go up and down the mountain at the fastest, and half an hour at the slowest; it's not as surprising and strange as you imagined; the temple is not a temple, and the museum is not a museum; I can't describe the feeling~
Fengdu Railway Station is only a 50-minute train ride from Chongqing North Station. The train station is also close to the county seat, with buses available. Fengdu County isn't large, with the county seat and the ancient ghost town on either side of the Yangtze River. A two-yuan boat ride takes you across the river. It was raining today, but we still went out. Tickets to the ghost town are 80 yuan per person. The ancient town next door is still under construction, so it was quite crowded. The air was fresh and relaxing.
The ghost town was relocated after the Three Gorges Dam was built. It has a more modern feel and lacks a lot of historical vicissitudes! It is still worth learning about ghost culture!
I took a cruise from Chongqing to this ghost town. I recommend taking a guided tour, listening to the stories, and learning about the local customs and taboos. Even if you don't believe in them, don't offend them. As for taking photos and asking people to burn incense and write plaques under various pretexts, just ignore them. There's a cable car available, 30 yuan round trip, 20 yuan one way. It does require some climbing, and there are many stairs. For the elderly or those with limited stamina, the cable car is recommended. It's not far if you're not in a hurry and walk slowly.
