Furong Cave was discovered in May 1993. Among the more than 80 types of karst cave sediments discovered in the world, nearly 70 species have been found in the cave, which is known as the "rich cave science museum."
The president of the World Cave Association once described it as "one of the best caves to visit in the world" and the most beautiful underground place in China.
The main cave of Furong Cave is 2,700 meters long. The most spectacular part of the cave is the "Glorious Hall", which also has a 15-meter-wide and 21-meter-high stone waterfall and stone curtain.
For the protection of the cave, we are currently entering the cave in batches of 30 people each. The tour guide will provide free explanations throughout the entire process, and the lights inside the cave will also be opened in sections.

Furong Cave boasts of being the world's best cave, a claim that's loud and clear, and the entrance fee isn't cheap. However, after a thorough visit, while the 130 RMB entrance fee (including the cable car) is a bit pricey, the scenery and lighting design were surprisingly impressive. We originally just wanted to escape the heat, but we ended up taking quite a few photos, which made it worth the price of admission. I've visited several caves of varying sizes, and many were quite nice in themselves, ruined by cheesy lighting. Objectively speaking, the artistic imagination of the lighting designers at Furong Cave is the best I've ever experienced. Furthermore, the sheer size and height of the caves make it truly spectacular.
The shortcomings are also very obvious. Only more than one kilometer of the entire cave is open for sightseeing. It takes an hour to walk down and take photos. Isn’t the ticket price of 80 yuan a bit too high? Why not open more routes?
Furthermore, the scenic area deliberately placed the ticket office several kilometers from the cave entrance, then built a cable car and charged 50 yuan. Many people don't realize that there's actually a road leading directly to the cave entrance, and driving is only a few kilometers of winding mountain road. Most people, like us, assume they have to take the cable car, thus paying the extra 50 yuan. Even if you do notice the road, you'll find clear signs indicating that section of road is unsafe and dangerous, and recommending the cable car.
Blinded by greed.
Furong Cave is a large limestone cave, formed during the Quaternary Pleistocene (approximately 1.2 million years ago) within ancient Cambrian dolomitic limestone. Deep within the cave, the stable temperature is 16.1°C. The main cave is 2,700 meters long, with an 1,860-meter-long excursion path. The cave floor is over 12-15 meters wide and generally 8-25 meters high, with a total floor area of 37,000 square meters. It is considered one of the "Three Great Caves of the World" and the only cave in the world designated a World Heritage Site. On June 27, 2007, the Wulong Karst, along with the Yunnan Stone Forest and the Guizhou Libo Karst, was officially inscribed on the World Heritage List as one of the "Southern Karsts of China."
The combined ticket for Wulong's three scenic spots is 280 yuan, and the reference time is 1.5 hours.
To visit Furong Cave, you first need to take a cable car to the cave entrance. From there, you can overlook the Furong River. It happened to be under maintenance that day, so the staff told us we had to get on the cable car before 5 PM or we would have to take the shuttle bus. This left us with only an hour to explore the caves, and we were rushed through without getting to see them in detail. On this trip, most of our cave tours were done just before closing time. Imagine being in the caves, which are already sparsely populated, and the thought of turning off the lights after closing time was terrifying!
As for Furong Cave, well, cave attractions are truly a matter of personal preference. Those who enjoy it will love it, while those who don't will find it quite ordinary. Since Evan had already visited many famous caves before, he didn't go to Furong Cave. Another important reason was that it's located 20 to 30 kilometers away from all the other attractions mentioned above. So, if you haven't visited many caves and have plenty of time, I highly recommend it; otherwise, you can skip it. In Wulong, Fairy Mountain and Guiyuan Town are top recommendations!
The Furong Cave ticket costs 150 yuan, including a round-trip cable car ride. Buying the ticket online the day beforehand saves 4 yuan. From the cable car, you can see a road leading to the cave, but it's narrow, so two cars can't pass each other. The road also appears to be unmaintained, and the steep slopes suggest a potential landslide. I saw some people online walking in, but that seems a bit dangerous. The entire Furong Cave tour takes 1-2 hours. Ticket sales stop at 4:00 PM, and the cave closes at 4:30 PM.
Furong Cave is a large limestone cave, with a main cavern measuring 2,700 meters long and a 1,860-meter trail. The caverns boast a myriad of bizarre karst formations, which appear even more mysterious under the illumination. Many of the stalactites are said to be extremely rare, and numerous. While the number and illumination aren't as impressive as those in Guangxi or Yunnan, I highly recommend it if you haven't visited. The cave itself is incredibly cool, making it a perfect place to cool off.
It is the only cave in the world to be listed as a World Heritage Site. It is considered one of the world's three greatest caves, along with Mammoth Cave in the United States and the Clams Cave in France. It was named "China's Most Beautiful Cave" by China National Geographic magazine.
In National Geographic's China Beauty Pageant, it was ranked second in the karst cave category. The area developed for tourism is limited, and much of the cave remains in its natural state. The landscape is diverse, and the underwater rock flowers are said to be one of only two in the world, and this one is even larger.
The scenery of Furong River is still very beautiful. It can be said that the highlight of the entire scenic spot is when taking the cable car.
I went to Furong Cave today. I felt that the scenic spot was quite good and very beautiful. It was just that the scenic area’s bus cheated us. When we went up, they sold us round-trip tickets for a total of 10 yuan, but when we came down, they were nowhere to be found. I called and they said we could take the scenic area’s tourist bus, but the tourist bus didn’t come. I called again but the line didn’t go through. I must have been blacklisted. I called another number but the driver didn’t speak. You said there were 6 of us and you cheated us out of 30 yuan. Is it necessary for you to not answer the phone? The driver’s phone number is 13896666967. Please don’t be cheated again.
The natural stone cave has a very nice view nearby, it is worth a visit.
From the entrance of Wulong Bus Station, take the green bus to Jiangkou for 4 yuan per person. After getting off at the terminal, there is a minibus for 10 yuan round trip. There were not many people in Furong Cave during the National Day holiday, but the scenery is absolutely worth it! It is very convenient to buy tickets for these scenic spots in Wulong by swiping your ID card, especially when buying a combined ticket, which is cheaper.
The cave is a small world, very magnificent and majestic. The scenery of Furong River is also very beautiful.
The lonely tourists made me feel like I had reserved the entire cave, which is why I later exclaimed, "The cave is so big that there are all kinds of wonders."
Very good. Personally, I think it should be more fun than Fairy Mountain.
Nature's uncanny workmanship! There's really no other way to describe it except to express my deep emotion! The lighting inside the cave changes the scenery as you move, making it incredibly beautiful! Inside the cave, you just need to calm down and admire the wonders of the Creator! Even taking a photo is so beautiful!
The downside is that this point is a bit far, and it's still an hour's drive from Tiannv Mountain.
I have seen 4.5 caves, this one is really beautiful, there are few people, and the quality of tourism is good.
Furong Cave is separate from the main Wulong scenic area and requires a car or charter, so it's recommended to visit last. Furong Cave is a typical karst cave, primarily composed of limestone. Formed and developed approximately 1.2 million years ago during the Quaternary Period, it boasts 76 diverse karst sediments, primarily composed of carbonates and sulfates. It's the only karst cave in China designated a World Heritage Site, known as the "No. 1 Karst Cave in the World" and ranked third globally. For conservation purposes, only about one-third of its surface is currently open to the public, with a total length of approximately 1.8 kilometers.
The first feeling upon entering the cave was the coolness, which is a normal phenomenon for cave tours—warm in winter, cool in summer. The second feeling was the incredibly long walk, which varied with the undulating terrain of the cave. It felt like I was constantly climbing or descending stairs. Furthermore, the air circulation in the cave was definitely not very good. Not only us, but even the tour guide was breathless. However, the dazzling array of stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars, all illuminated by colorful lights, was a truly unique sight. Especially seeing the three most important cave treasures and the magnificent hall, which spans over 1,000 square meters, made the effort absolutely worth it!
It is worth mentioning that you need to take a cable car from the entrance of Furong Cave Scenic Area to the cave entrance (included in the ticket, no need to pay separately). On the cable car, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Furong River from a high vantage point. If you catch the morning mist, it will feel like you are walking through the clouds and mist, step by step into a fairyland.
How would I rate it? My husband and I thought it was just average, but my parents loved it! It's a 5A scenic spot, so it's definitely worth a visit. The cable car fee, not included, is 70 yuan per person, so be prepared in advance. Perhaps the safety factor is too high. Eight people shared a room, and it was incredibly hot inside. The entire walk and photo ops took about 90 minutes at most. Don't worry, it's cool inside. Trust me, it was really hot and stuffy. It took about an hour and a half before we headed back.
There is a different world in Furong Cave, but it is a little smaller.
I admire the wonders of nature, so beautiful!!!
It is worthy of being on the China National Geographic Cave Ranking, its size and shape are very good.
My first time visiting a cave was quite impressive. We chartered a car from the county seat for 100 yuan for three people, which seemed quite expensive, but the driver kept saying it was the cheapest way to visit. The cave's off-season ticket is 100 yuan, with the cable car alone accounting for 70 yuan. It's quite large, and the tour took about two hours, but I was exhausted from walking. The temperature inside the cave was quite warm, much warmer than outside in winter. Overall, it was a good experience and worth a visit.
From the visitor center, take a minibus back to Wulong County for 9 yuan per person. After arriving at Wulong Bus Station, charter a bus to Furong Cave for 120 yuan. Alternatively, take a bus from Wulong County to Jiangkou Town, and then take a bus from Jiangkou to the scenic area. The bus from Wulong County to Jiangkou Town isn't a dedicated tourist bus; it stops frequently along the way to pick up passengers from the town. It was Friday after school, so it was packed. The bus from Jiangkou to the scenic area, while not far, is less frequent due to the low number of tourists. I didn't see any buses on the round trip, perhaps because it's more frequent during peak season. According to the charter driver, most of these buses seek other opportunities during the off-season.
Furong Cave can only be accessed by cable car, so you must buy a discounted package of 150 yuan per person (including 120 yuan for the ticket and 50 yuan for the cable car)
The temperature was still very low on the day we came, with a drizzle. There were very few tourists, only about a dozen in total. We could take our time and appreciate the scenery carefully.
One of the top ten karst caves in China, I originally planned to visit it together with Fengdu Snow Jade Cave, but unexpectedly the Snow Jade Cave was closed for renovations. Worth a visit.
Ticket + cable car 150
Transportation is very inconvenient. There is a green rural bus at the entrance of Wulong Bus Station to Jiangkou Town. There are private vans to and from Furong Cave in Jiangkou Town, but they are not very crowded. If you have a lot of people, you should rent a car. It takes 50 minutes to walk up the mountain without taking the cable car. It is not recommended.
The cave tour lasts 2 hours. There is no mobile phone signal.
It's very good, you can see the three wonders: the giant waterfall, the source of life, and the coral pool. Note that the coral pool is in the last hall, in the innermost corner, very hidden, don't miss it.
Furong Cave is located southwest of Wulong Station in Wulong County, Chongqing. This means it's not in the same direction as the famous Tiankeng and Earth Fissure, or even diagonally across from Fairy Mountain. However, the Three Natural Bridges, Longshuixia Earth Fissure, and Fairy Mountain scenic areas are all located close together, so it's recommended to visit Furong Cave after arriving at Wulong Station, then head up the mountain to Fairy Town to explore the rest of the area.
Transportation is relatively convenient. You can take a bus from Wulong Bus Station to Furong Cave. I can't remember the exact bus number, so you can ask the station staff (forget the volunteer at the station entrance, who just pointed me to a random bus and made me wait for half a day). Get off near the terminal and take a minivan up the mountain. The fare is charged per person and includes round trip. It is actually an illegal taxi.
After arriving at the scenic spot, you can choose to walk up the mountain or take the cable car. Especially in hot weather, my brother and I chose to take the cable car up the mountain. The cable car is quite advanced. The full glass makes it very convenient to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. The speed is also quite fast. Haha, my brother was so scared that he didn't dare to move~
The various caves within the cave seem to be designed based on people's ability to appreciate and their aesthetic fatigue. Haha, at least that's what I think. I never felt bored throughout the whole experience. From the shock of entering the cave for the first time to the joy of discovering even more unique and spectacular caves later, the cave route is directly proportional to the degree of one's delight. It's a pity that I don't know enough about these karst caves, so I can only appreciate the visual shock from inside the cave! The temperature inside the cave is relatively low, so be sure to bring a coat. The ground inside the cave is wet and slippery, and many paths require going up and down stairs, so be sure to dress carefully and wear shoes. The time spent in the cave is about 1.5 to 2 hours.
I originally wanted to play zipline and cruise Furong River, but unfortunately the scenic area equipment upgrades made it impossible to experience it. I could only enjoy Furong River from the cable car. It was really beautiful! ! ! Next time I have a chance to go there again, I must try zipline. It is said to be very exciting~~~
Furong Cave is sometimes narrow like a secret passage, and sometimes open like a palace.
Furong River, blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and clear water are just like this~~~
Having been to the caves in Yunnan, I am not surprised to see them here.
For this kind of cave, 30% depends on the image and 70% depends on imagination, so the tour guide can only point out each one to us, and we have to rely on our imagination to figure out the details.
Along the way, I saw places like Pine and Cypress Fairies, Undersea Dragon Palace, Thousands of Arrows Hanging on the Wall, One Man Guarding the Pass, Stones Blooming, etc. I thought that going out for fun was just a test of physical strength, but I didn't expect there would be a place that tests IQ.
Stone Flag: Water drops fall irregularly, but generally along a crack, thus forming a thin flag-like stone. The thinnest part is only 0.3 mm, and even light can pass through it.
The most striking part of Furong Cave was the junction between the Magnificent Hall and the Collapsed Hall. At the end of the Magnificent Hall was a raised platform, the other side of which led to a vast cavern. A lone headlight shone diagonally from above, offering a glimpse into the depths of the cavern. The cavern seemed dim and shrouded in jagged rocks and rubble. The further in, the wider it became, with a massive stalagmite reaching up to the ceiling, like the maw of a monster, ready to devour the visitors.
Standing on the stone platform, leaning over the railing and gazing into the cave, the entrance feels like a gateway to another world. Facing it, one feels a deep sense of dread and cringe, yet at the same time, one feels captivated and unable to look away. The collapsed hall has not been developed, and the tour guide explained that it will remain open for decades, except for a limited period each year when geologists and students can enter for research.
You can go to Wulong Tiankeng Sanqiao together, it's pretty good.
Furong Cave is a large limestone cave, formed during the Quaternary Pleistocene (approximately 1.2 million years ago) within ancient Cambrian dolomitic limestone. The temperature deep within the cave is a stable 16.1°C. The main cave is 2,700 meters long, with an 1,860-meter-long excursion path. The cave's bottom width is over 12-15 meters, with a maximum width of 69.5 meters. The cave's height ranges from 8-25 meters to a maximum of 48.3 meters. The cave floor covers a total area of 37,000 square meters, with the Grand Hall, covering over 1,000 square meters and encompassing 11,000 square meters, being the most spectacular. The maximum static and visitor capacity of the entire Furong Cave is 185,000 people. It is also known as one of the "Three Great Caves of the World." On July 6, 2011, the Furong Cave Scenic Area was officially approved by the National Tourism Administration as a National AAAAA (5A) Scenic and Historic Site.
The entrance fee to Furong Cave is 120 yuan during peak season and 65 yuan during off-season. The distance from the visitor center to the cave entrance is approximately 3.5 kilometers. There are two ways to reach the cave: one is by cable car, which costs 40 yuan one way and 70 yuan round trip, and takes about 12 minutes each way. This relatively new cable car ascends to the summit and then descends to the cave entrance. The other option is to walk along the flat, though slightly winding, road in front of the visitor center, taking about 35-40 minutes one way. We departed from Chongqing and had no problems along the way. However, transportation in Wulong is not very convenient. We arrived at the visitor center at 1:45 PM. If we walked, we would probably miss the last bus down the mountain, so we opted for the round-trip cable car. If you have time, walking along the road is a pleasant experience, offering fresh air and a great view of the emerald Furong River.
The first third of Furong Cave is dominated by colorful and high-profile features, which caters to tourists but is not conducive to the protection of stalactites.
The main attractions of Furong Cave are the bizarre shapes written by various stalactites, as well as some clear and transparent pools.
Furong Cave's vast volume and rich cave deposits have captivated cave experts from around the world and are a beloved destination for tourists. It is a Karst World Natural Heritage Site, a China National 5A Tourist Area, a National Key Scenic Area, and a China National Geopark. It is also the only cave in the world designated a World Natural Heritage Site.
I got up early in the morning and went to various herbal medicine shops and snack shops before going to Furong Cave. I don’t like to join tour groups because these are annoying.
Furong Cave is a dry cave. You only need to walk the whole way. It is very long. Here are two photos. I feel that all the caves are similar.
I got up very early in the morning, went out at eight o'clock, and headed straight to Furong Cave.
The weather is pretty good. It was said to rain, but it never fell. It seems that God is still taking care of us~~~~~~
If the weather permits, it is not recommended to take the cable car up. The mountain road is not difficult to walk on. On the contrary, it is easy to walk on. It is all cement road. Moreover, the scenery along the way is good. You can see Furong River, the dam, the town at the foot of the mountain, and Wulong County in the distance.
In addition, I would like to introduce Furong Cave to you. It was discovered in May 1993. The main cave is 2,700 meters long and has a total area of 37,000 square meters. The most spectacular part is the "Glorious Hall", which covers an area of about 11,000 square meters. There is also a 15-meter-wide and 21-meter-high stone waterfall and palm-shaped stalagmites that are as smooth as jade. The main attractions include the Golden Palace, Leifeng Pagoda, Sleeping Lotus Buddha, Stone Pillars, Undersea Dragon Palace, Giant Curtain Waterfall, Stone Field Pearls, Source of Life, Double Goose Flying Tower, Coral Yaochi, Concubine Bathing Pool, Ten Thousand Arrows Ready to Shoot, etc.
When we arrived at the cave entrance, we found a group of monkeys. We were only allowed to watch from a distance and not to play with them!
Friendly reminder: When visiting the cave, be sure to wear non-slip shoes, because water is still seeping into the cave, the ground steps are wet, and the lighting is not very good. Be careful, there is no toilet in the cave.
The tour takes about 1.5 hours. From the cave entrance, you can take the cable car down or walk down the mountain. As mentioned earlier, there's only one way up the mountain, and it's really easy to walk! Just be careful of rockfalls. Since it was raining when we left the cave, we took the cable car down. The speed is very slow, and you can enjoy the Furong River!
We came here in November, and the Furong River zipline was not open. Actually, you can try it, it's quite exciting!
Chongqing's Wulong Furong Cave is the only cave site in China nominated for World Heritage status. Its vast caverns, with over 70 types of secondary chemical deposits, create a dazzling landscape of magnificent beauty, exquisite craftsmanship, and exquisite craftsmanship. It has captivated cave experts from around the world and has been hailed as "a magnificent underground palace of art."
After snapping photos along the way, we finally entered the cave. Chongqing Wulong Furong Cave is the only cave in China nominated for World Heritage status. Its vast caverns, with over 70 types of secondary chemical deposits, create a dazzling landscape of magnificent beauty, exquisite craftsmanship, and exquisite craftsmanship. It has captivated cave experts from around the world and has been hailed as "a magnificent underground art palace."
Furong Cave is a group of caves. If you haven't been there, you can go and see it, but if you have been to Jiuxiang Cave in Yunnian, I feel it is just average... The cable car is newly built and the speed is fast, which feels good.
If you're heading to Wulong, Furong Cave and Fairy Town are located in opposite directions from Wulong County. There's no direct bus from Furong Cave to Fairy Town; you'll have to go through Wulong County. I recommend visiting Furong Cave first, then Fairy Town, as staying overnight in Fairy Town is much more enjoyable than staying in Wulong.
If you go to Furong Cave, it is best to take the cable car up and down, because you also have to walk a long way to visit the cave.
Not bad, it's the first time I see this, it's very nice.
To be honest, I have seen quite a lot of caves like this.
So I didn’t feel much freshness in it.
To summarize: ① The development is not yet complete
②No characteristics, no appeal
Friends who want to go to Furong Cave must pay attention that the direction of Furong Cave is similar to that of the Three Natural Bridges, Fairy Mountain, and the Ground Crack. If you want to stay in Fairy Mountain, it is recommended to go to Furong Cave first and then go to Fairy Mountain. Also, for students, the accommodation fee in Fairy Mountain is very high. If you can't afford it, you should stay in Wulong County.
This exceeded my expectations. I had previously thought the cave was small when I saw it on China-TravelNote. Once inside, I realized it would take an hour to explore. I decided to take a quick tour. The stalactites inside were still quite impressive. It was a truly unique experience to take your time and savor.
Under the backdrop of various colored lights, the various stalactites in the cave present a variety of scenes. The charm of the cave is actually mainly displayed by the lights. It is beautiful, but not to the point of making your heart beat.
The scenery inside the cave is quite charming and worth seeing. The staff at the scenic spot are very friendly.
The lights inside the cave are colorful and look good, but the air inside the cave is not circulating and it is quite hot. Anyway, the photos are better than the real scene. I think caves all over the country should be similar...
The stalactites in the cave are of various shapes and sizes.
Friends who have been to the cave really don’t recommend going there. I think visiting the cave once is enough.
The fare from Wulong Long-Distance Bus Station to Jiangkou Town is 4 yuan, and the transfer fare after arriving in Jiangkou Town is 5 yuan, which takes you to the Visitor Center. Currently, Furong Cave is only accessible by cable car for some reason. The Furong River Scenic Area is closed due to the expansion of a nearby dam.
I went to Furong Cave during college. The picturesque scenery and the shadowy caves made me deeply feel the magical power of nature.

The No. 1 Cave in the World, this is the first stalactite cave I have ever visited, highly recommended!
A magnificent underground art palace...
There is a cable car that goes directly to the cave entrance, but it is recommended to try walking there, and there are many views along the way.
A very large lava cave is a typical representative of karst landforms and is worth seeing!
Welcome to my Wulong travelogue, with many beautiful pictures and detailed transportation guide: http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/5435547.html
Arriving at Furong Cave, our journey into the underground palace began. This is truly a masterpiece of nature's uncanny craftsmanship, a work of art that has blossomed today after millions of years of sedimentation. You'll be astonished by the power of nature; it's also a place where your imagination can run wild. I originally thought Furong Cave was just a cave with flat ground inside, which would be chilly and quick to complete. However, it turns out to be hidden within a mountain, extremely hot and humid. The deeper you go, the more humid and hot it gets. The path alternates between ups and downs, with some flat paths, and it feels like climbing a mountain.
Upon entering the cave, I felt hot and humid, and the lighting was dim. Later, upon returning, I discovered that lighting can damage stalactites. The official Wulong website states that under the heat from the cave's thermal sources, the surface temperature of the stalactites rises, causing them to dry out and lose water, becoming rough and dull in color. This quickly leads to dehydration, cracking, and calcification. Furthermore, due to temperature fluctuations and uneven heating across the stalactites' surface, the stalactites are prone to cracking and peeling, and often fall apart under external forces.
There are only two places with strong viewing value, and the lighting inside the cave needs to be enriched
Arriving at the Furong Cave reception center, you can simply buy your ticket. There are free luggage lockers in the ticket hall. Winter is really busy, but it seems they close at 4:30 PM. The actual situation may differ from what's posted online, so it's best to go early. After traveling through most of China, this was my first time seeing stalactites, and I was completely blown away! I was a little scared inside the cave, perhaps out of awe. But it was incredibly hot!!! The photos I took were truly beautiful. The taxi driver told me that Furong Cave isn't as beautiful now as it was originally. Some of the stalactites have broken and yellowed, and there are still undeveloped areas in the back hills, but the local authorities have decided not to develop them for the time being for protection.
Furong Cave, a very dreamy attraction, like a fairyland!!

Chongqing Wulong Furong Cave, karst landform, Asia's largest cave, worth a visit
All caves are similar, but Furong Cave will exceed your imagination.
Furong Cave is considered one of the most beautiful caves in China. Its numerous iconic stalactites are truly breathtaking, a testament to nature's unparalleled craftsmanship. It's the most beautiful cave I've ever seen. Entering Furong Cave, you'll feel a refreshing coolness—even in the 40-degree heat outside, the cave remains comfortable, like a natural air conditioner—a perfect escape from the summer heat. Be sure to wear non-slip shoes inside the cave, as water from the stalactites can drip from the cave. A full tour of Furong Cave is expected to take about an hour, allowing you to savor it at your leisure.
It feels no different from an ordinary cave, and I don’t think it’s that amazing. The ticket price is also a bit expensive, at 120.
It is very spectacular inside, with many naturally formed patterns.
The ticket price is 120, half price for students, and free for soldiers with ID! It is indeed a good place. It takes about an hour to visit at a normal pace. There are many good views to take photos while walking. If you are a solo traveler, it is best to go around 3 pm. At that time, the tour groups have left and you can enjoy it slowly without crowds.
Furong Cave has been voted China's most beautiful cave, boasting numerous iconic stalactites that truly evoke the wonders of nature. It's also the most beautiful cave I've ever seen. Key attractions include the Golden Throne Hall, Leifeng Pagoda, Jade Pillars, Jade Forest Magnolias, Dogtooth Crystal Flowers, the Millennium Kiss, the Animal Kingdom, the Undersea Dragon Palace, the Giant Waterfall, Stone Field Pearls, the Fertility Pillar, and the Coral Pool. Transportation is convenient: minibuses to Jiangkou depart from Wulong Railway Station and the County Hospital for 9 yuan per person. Tell the driver to get off at Furong Cave. Tickets: Peak season (March 1st to October 31st): 120 yuan, low season (November 1st to February 28th): 65 yuan. (You don't need to choose the weather to visit Furong Cave; it's easy to plan your visit.)
This cave is very large. It takes about two hours to play and take pictures. The stalactites inside are very beautiful with the lights and your imagination.
The scenery is okay. It is more beautiful than Fuxi Cave, but Furong River is better.
This is a must-see attraction. The biggest attraction is the two waterfall-shaped stalactites inside. They are very shocking and magnificent. Only this stalactite is worth seeing. It is the only unique landscape in the country. It is so straight and smooth. It is worth recommending. The whole cave is very ordinary at first, and it reaches its climax at the end. When the stone waterfall comes into view, it gives people the feeling that the eyes suddenly light up. It is so beautiful! This is a moment to feast your eyes, so hurry up.
This is not very interesting. It's just a cave with different hills and bags. People are exhausted from walking. I don't recommend it. But you may only come here once in your life. If you want to see it, you should go and see it.
This is the ugliest cave I've ever been to. I should have listened to the advice of fellow hikers and not gone to this cave after visiting other caves. The lighting effect is not good, and the natural beauty of the cave has been lost after development.
Furong Cave is very big, but the guide took us around very quickly and we were left wanting more.
In Wulong, the hotel owner said these caves weren't particularly impressive, so I initially considered skipping this one. Rain prevented me from visiting Fairy Mountain, so I opted for Furong Cave instead. But once I sobered up, I was truly blown away by the cave's impressive landscape. It was truly magnificent, especially because of its sheer size—much larger than I'd imagined. I marveled at the wonders of nature and the rich imagination of humanity.
Furong Cave is a large karst cave, a 5A-rated scenic spot, but I didn't find it worth visiting. The entrance fee was 120 yuan. There was speed skating at the entrance, which was tempting, but I ultimately didn't dare go. It was a pity.
📍Before entering Furong Cave, you have to take the cable car first. This cable car is said to be imported from Germany and the equipment is quite stable.
On the cable car, you can overlook the mountains and rivers of Wulong District. The high-rise buildings are suitable for taking photos. 📷 At Furong Cave, the tour guide will throw you in and you just need to follow the route and keep going forward.
The further you go, the more spectacular the scenery is. For a coward like me, the temperature in the cave is low, and with the various colored lights and color gradients, I still find it a bit scary.
The lights in some places are still being debugged and the ground is slippery, so please pay attention to safety when visiting❗
The most impressive ones are the Imperial Concubine Bathing Pool and the Pillar of Heaven. There is a "Buddha's Light" next to the Imperial Concubine Bathing Pool. Standing at a specific position (marked with two feet), you can see that the center of the Buddha's Light is just blocked by a stone pillar. The top of the pillar emits the afterglow of the Buddha's Light, which is very beautiful. There is a "time tunnel" at the exit✨
Suitable for taking photos hahahaha 😄
