It is a viewing platform with a wide view formed by a large tree. It is a must-see place for Chongqing city tourism.
Without adjusting the original facilities and style, the landscape garden extends the browsing space backwards, sets up a field leisure area, and broadens the visiting space.
In the scenic area, you can choose to watch the night view on the outdoor platform or in the indoor viewing hall. The night view is very good.
There are few parking spaces in the scenic area, the roads leading up and down are narrow, and there are many tourists on the viewing platform. It is recommended that you plan your trip reasonably.

The view is indeed much better than that of Eling Park, and it is definitely one of the best viewpoints for viewing Chongqing.
There is a parking lot above and below a tree. The upper one is very small, with only one row of cars, but you can enter at any time. The lower one is larger, but you can only enter after 7 pm. If you come early, it is still recommended to park in the lower parking lot, and then go around the road to the upper part to enter the scenic area. (Please pay special attention here. The parking fee for small cars in the lower parking lot is 6 yuan per time. There is a fee standard at the door. No one collects money when you enter, but when you leave, an auntie will come over and ask for ten yuan! I asked her if it was not six yuan. She immediately changed her mind and said that she asked you to give me ten yuan and I will give you four yuan in change, which is six yuan. It's a blatant scam! Everyone must pay attention)
There's an outdoor terrace inside the scenic area for viewing, but it's incredibly small. The best option is to head directly to the rooftop of the building. It was definitely packed, though. We arrived around 5:00 a.m. (and it was a rainy Wednesday) and barely managed to get a front-row seat. (Then we stood there for over three hours, our knees practically clenched.)
Chongqing has become a popular online city, with a surge in tourists. I hope the government can quickly increase the capacity of scenic spots to accommodate tourists, charging 30 yuan per person. With so many people, I hope the money earned can be used to improve the area and expand its capacity.
Getting to Yikeshu is a bit cumbersome by public transportation, so we opted for a taxi, which dropped us directly at the entrance. Tickets cost 30 yuan each, so it's best to bring cash in case Alipay or WeChat payments aren't accepted. We arrived just before 6:00 AM, still bright and uncrowded. After snapping photos at the observation deck below, we headed straight to the highest observation deck. The highest level requires an elevator and then another flight of stairs. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded, so we had a good spot. Chongqing doesn't start to get dark until after 7:30 PM, so we had to wait for the view. However, as more and more people arrived, we realized our early arrival was a bonus. Chongqing's nightscape is truly stunning. Due to the city's mountainous terrain, the buildings are arranged in a seamless pattern, earning it the nickname "Little Hong Kong." Eling Park is also beautiful, but Yikeshu in Nanshan is definitely worth a visit.
In my opinion, a visit to the Yikeshu Scenic Area in Nanshan District, Chongqing, is a must-do for taking in the panoramic views of the mountain city at night. I find those popular check-in spots like Ciqikou, Hongyadong, and Jiefangbei uninteresting, filled with modern architecture and snack streets. There's really no point visiting them. Only Hongyadong is worth a visit as it's getting dark, where you can enjoy its daytime appearance, have a meal nearby, and admire its nighttime illuminations. Afterward, you can take a taxi to the Yikeshu Observation Deck to admire the mountain city's nightscape. P.S. If you want to take photos, it's best to bring a digital camera.
I can't remember how we spent our time waiting for darkness after arriving at Yikeshu. It felt like we were constantly waiting for it to get dark in Chongqing. We were waiting at Hongyadong, and we were still waiting at Nanshan. It finally got dark before I was so hungry I wanted to eat someone. The lights on the buildings on both sides of the river came on one by one, and with each one, people with SLR cameras nearby would eagerly wait for the next one to light up.
It was not yet 5:30 when I entered Nanshan Yikeshu. I took a few photos of Yuzhong Peninsula in the evening on the viewing platform and then went up to the 5th floor to find a seat. While sipping tea, I could also appreciate the Yuzhong Peninsula as night fell.
We sat there until 7:30 when it was completely dark before we went up to the outdoor viewing platform on the 8th floor. The Yuzhong Peninsula with lights on was so beautiful that people couldn't help but press the shutter to take pictures.
Because it is on the mountain, there are not many cars. You can also walk a distance and take the bus, but the bus runs very rarely and there are long queues, so we chose to take a taxi.
The viewing platform ticket is ¥15 per person. It was still light when we arrived, and not crowded, so we headed straight to the highest viewing platform to grab the best selfie spot. Click, click, click. We took a bunch of selfies with our selfie stick.
Nanshan Yikeshu and Eling Park are two great places to enjoy the night view. The difference is that Nanshan Yikeshu is very crowded, while Eling is relatively less crowded. Nanshan Yikeshu requires an entrance fee, while Eling Park does not. Finally, the night view at Nanshan Yikeshu is much better than that at Eling. If you have plenty of time, you can visit both places, but if you are short on time, I recommend Nanshan Yikeshu for the better night view.
It is recommended that you take a taxi to Nanshan Mountain. It is not expensive for more than ten yuan. It may take you an entire afternoon to walk up.
It’s a great feeling to watch the sky gradually darken, but I just want to remind everyone that it is very cold at night on Nanshan Mountain, and the wind is also very strong. Usually, your hands will be frozen numb when you take out your mobile phone to take pictures, so you still need to wear more clothes.
It is recommended that you take a taxi both going up and down the mountain. It is cheaper to go up the mountain, but a bit more expensive to go down the mountain, about twenty or so yuan.
You can take bus No. 346 or 347 to get off at No. 4 Middle School Station and walk to the destination; take bus No. 384 to get off at Chongwen Road Station and walk to the entrance of the scenic area.
Scenic spot ticket: Adult ticket 30 RMB
It's a must-see destination for Chongqing city travelers. It's said that the best night view in the world is in Yuzhou. Standing on the observation deck, you can gaze out from afar at the dazzling lights of Chongqing's Yuzhong District. Set against the backdrop of the night sky, the scene is magnificent and dazzling.
It is recommended that you come here at 6-7 pm. From the moment the sun sets until it gets dark, you will see a different night view of the mountain city.
I personally think that if you come to Chongqing and don’t go to Yishu to see the night view, your trip to Chongqing is a waste! Because it is really beautiful!!!
There is a large viewing platform after entering the scenic area, but there are so many people coming to take pictures of the night view at night that you have to grab a spot in advance. There is a paid telescope on the platform. There is a three-story building behind the platform with floor-to-ceiling windows, which is also used for viewing. As the saying goes, the higher you stand, the farther you can see.
Chongqing at night is very charming and can easily make people fall in love. There is an observation deck near Nanshan Yikeshu, which is a good place to watch the night view of Chongqing.
Look at Chongqing at night, the yellow, white and red lights interweave into a prosperous world.
Chongqing is truly worthy of its name as the Foggy City. Because of the heavy fog, the vision is a bit blurred.
Nanshan offers a panoramic view of the city, and the best time to see it is from sunset to night. I drove here in 2015, and bus No. 346 passes through here from Jiaochangkou. After all these years, I don't know if there are enough parking spaces on the mountain.
Nanshan Tree, ticket price 30 yuan
Play time: 1 hour
A Tree in Nanshan is an old internet celebrity for Chongqing’s night view. I gave up visiting it a few times before because the tickets were too expensive. Maybe it’s because there are too many competitors now, so they actually lowered the price. So I decided to go and have a look.
The view from the inside was similar to that of Eling Park. There were trees in front of the outdoor viewing platform, which obscured the view a bit. The glass of the indoor viewing platform was too reflective.
No wonder the price dropped.
The most convenient way to get to Nanshan Yikeshu from the cable car station is to take a taxi. Taxis, online-hailing cars, and private cars are all acceptable. Nanshan Yikeshu is an observation deck, one of the best places to enjoy the night view of Chongqing mountain city. It is named after the yellow poplar tree, the city tree of Chongqing, which stands on the observation deck.
Ticket price: 30 yuan in peak season and 15 yuan in off-season.
The best time to go is sunset, when you can watch the sunset and the night view.
Atop Nanshan Mountain, this is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and nightscape of Chongqing. There's an entrance fee, but it's affordable. I recommend getting up early before sunset to explore the surroundings and get a good vantage point. While the upper floors are higher, the glass windows aren't comfortable. The best spot is the small square downstairs, offering a sweeping view of Chongqing.
There's really nothing much to see in a tree; it's just a fantastic viewing platform. It's a place you'd regret visiting, and you'd also regret not visiting. So I chose to go and regret it, because at least I went. I didn't really regret it, because the viewing platform's location is so great. All I need to do now is wait for the sun to set and the night to unfold. There's a building at the back of the scenic area, and you can go up there for the view. A sightseeing elevator takes you to the rooftop, where you'll find both an indoor viewing platform and an open-air rooftop viewing platform. During the day, there's not much to see, especially the indoor viewing platform, as the glass reflects light. Standing on the spiral staircase next to the elevator, you can see the endless lush green mountains around you, as well as the small temple hidden among the mountains. Be sure to miss the small staircase next to the indoor viewing platform, which leads to the rooftop, an open-air viewing platform.
Foggy City
Rainy and foggy scenery
The fog thickened as evening approached
In the afternoon, the wind can also blow away the fog on the mountain.
By the evening, the fog had obscured the panoramic view of the mountain city.
P1 is the clearest one.
The last one is lost in Nanshan 😄
After taking the Yangtze River Cableway to the other side of the river, there are many illegal taxis available, so you must take a taxi. The hike up the mountain is quite long. Once you reach the top, you can see the entire mountain range. I recommend visiting this attraction at night to appreciate the beautiful mountain city. A small tip: the lines for the Yangtze River Cableway are very long, and the cableway closes at 10 p.m., so I recommend planning your trip to avoid peak hours.
I remember that it was the off-season when I went there, so the tickets were a little cheaper. Although the attractions were simple, just climbing up to see the night view, it was still worth a visit, and there was a very comfortable feeling.
Yikeshu Observation Deck is the best place to view the Yuzhong Peninsula.
There is a hilltop with a panoramic view of Chongqing. The transportation is not very convenient. It is foggy during the day, which affects the viewing effect. It is probably better to see the city lights at night.
Overlooking the night view of Chongqing Yuzhong District, with a hazy beauty
If you like to see the night view of the city, you must come here to check in. The brightly lit Chongqing city is even more beautiful in the night.
A great view of Chongqing. Come early to see both the daytime and nighttime views.
Traffic jams are common on the way up the mountain, so if you're taking a taxi, please consider the fare! Also, the night view wasn't as beautiful as I'd imagined.
A great place to see the panoramic view, be sure to go early to grab a seat 😂
A place where you can see the panoramic view of Chongqing city center, suitable for night time
It is indeed very comfortable, but you have to go early to grab a good camera position, because after 9:00 when going down the mountain, you can only take a taxi!
It is the best place to enjoy the night view and overlook the panoramic view of Chongqing.
A classic camera overlooking the Yuzhong Peninsula. It is recommended to come early as the open-air viewing platform will be very crowded in the evening.
It's a very small viewing platform. Maybe because we went there in winter, the visibility was not very high and the night view was a bit blurry. I personally think it's okay, but I don't recommend it. It's just average. In addition, there is a tree under the viewing platform!
It's very good. You can see the panoramic view of Chongqing Peninsula. The ticket is not expensive. I went there in the morning. There were fewer people and the scenery was nice. There may be more people at night, but Chongqing's night view is one of the best in China, so you can also go there at night.
The night view of Chongqing is very beautiful, Chaotianmen, the confluence of two rivers.
It’s just that public transportation services are inadequate.
It's just an observation deck and a tree. If there's heavy fog, you can hardly see it clearly, but if you go there on a good day with few people, you can take great photos.
Lei Ge's legs are 1.9 meters long, so I can only pass by her silently.
Take the subway to Shangxinjie Station and get off, then take a taxi. Off-season admission is 15 yuan. It's truly one of the most recommended night views online. It's truly amazing. But two tips: 1. If you're only interested in night photography, it's best to come after 7:00 PM, as the lights on the other side of the river only turn on around 7:00 PM. This is the perfect time for photos. 2. Dress warmly, or you'll freeze like a fool. My face was practically blue.
Looking at Chongqing at night here, you will be immersed in this city.
Getting to Nanshan Yikeshu is inconvenient, but it's definitely the best place to photograph the entire Chongqing nightscape. It's a must-see for photography enthusiasts. If you're short on time, you might want to come back another time; after all, the only thing this place has to offer is the nightscape.
The first stop when I came to Chongqing was Yikeshu in Nanshan, to witness Chongqing’s top night view, which is worthy of being called “Little Hong Kong in the Mainland”.
The transportation is not very convenient. Friends who like taking photos must go there. The ticket price is 31 yuan. After seeing the sunset photos taken by others, I think the sunset and nightfall may be better.
The best place to view the night view of Chongqing, go to the observation deck early and find a good position to take pictures.
Viewing the entire Chongqing cityscape from here is just like viewing Lujiazui across the street from the Bund in Shanghai. The cityscape is unobstructed and very spectacular.
Because I heard that Chongqing's landscape lights are only fully turned on on Saturdays and Sundays, so today is the only day to see the most beautiful Chongqing. So after visiting Hongyadong, I went to Nanshan Yikeshu immediately. The night view of Chongqing is indeed more gorgeous against the backdrop of the river.
I finally understand why they say it’s better to go see the night view! It’s foggy during the day!
Chongqing is a famous foggy city!
Next to the Yikeshu scenic spot, there is a viewing platform, which is a good place to see the panoramic view of Chongqing.
It's also a good place to watch the night view
The scenic area is very remote, and it is not easy to come here. The ticket is 30 yuan. I was dumbfounded after entering. The weather was not good. The so-called scenic area was extremely ordinary. The scenery can be seen in other places in Nanshan, and the ticket price is so expensive. If it is cloudy, don't come! Because the way back is very difficult! Cover your face and cry
There was a traffic jam at the foot of the mountain. We parked the car on the side of the road on an unknown hillside.
So I followed the crowd up the mountain. Well... there is really no need to look at the map, just follow the flow of people.
The building is like a SLR lens and you can climb to the top. The top floor is probably like a roujiamo, with three layers of people surrounding the railings.
1. The gate of the scenic area is far from the bus station, so you have to walk through the gate without stopping. You will feel dizzy after walking along the mountain road.
2. There is a platform and a viewing tower at the entrance. For tourists, they can take photos. After that, there is also a team building base for local team building. There is nothing else. It is really embarrassing that I still don’t know which tree Nanshan Yike is.
Summary: The ticket price for the Nanshan Yikeshu Scenic Area is a bit of a rip-off and not worth it. If you want to take pictures of the night view, you need to reserve a spot in advance.
During holidays, there are many people, and it is the best viewing point for Chongqing's night view. The round building is a tree, but not a real tree.
But I want to say that a lot of people are waiting for Chongqing to light up and take pictures of the night view. Chongqing is so slow that not all the lights are on after 7 o'clock. In Zhuhai, all the lights are on before it gets dark, okay? It's so slow. And not all the buildings are lit up, so there is no legendary night view for you to take pictures, haha.
I originally wanted to come here in the evening to watch the sunset, but unfortunately it rained. It really is true that plans cannot keep up with changes.
After climbing up to the observation deck at Yikeshu and taking photos overlooking Chongqing's Yuzhong District, I couldn't help but sigh, "30 yuan for a ticket is way too expensive!" I was also thankful it was raining, so there were very few people around Nanshan Yikeshu (though that could also be because there were fewer people at the time I went, haha).
The open-air observation deck is not very big. Walking in, you will find an observation building. Take the elevator to the sixth floor and climb up one floor to find a small rooftop with a better view than the one below.
I heard from others that there is a small town on the top of the mountain, but I had a stomachache and really didn’t have the strength to climb any further, so I stayed in a tree for a short time and then left.
This observation deck overlooks Chongqing during the day and is a good place to watch the night view at night. It feels a bit like the Bund in Shanghai.
One Tree at Nanshan is one of the most iconic spots for enjoying the city's nightscape. Located on Nanshan Mountain in Nan'an District, the observation deck, formed around a large tree, offers expansive views of Yuzhong District and the Caiyuanba Bridge, Yangtze River Bridge, and Dongshuimen Bridge. The recommended route is from Yuzhong District, starting at the Yangtze River Cableway at Xinhua Road in Yuzhong District, and taking the cableway to Shangxin Street (Longmen Road) in Nan'an District. After disembarking, take a Didi up the mountain to the entrance of the One Tree at Nanshan Observation Deck. If you're not in a hurry, you can walk to the Shangxin Street bus stop and ascend. Arriving just before sunset allows you to enjoy both the sunset and the night view, as this is a great place to watch the sunset.
It is best to go before dark, otherwise there will be no seats. Student ID cards have discounts on tickets, but you can only buy tickets with cash. Go up to the observation deck and wait for dark, because the lights are on inside the observation deck. In fact, the mobile phone will capture reflections and indoor lights when taking pictures, so I basically took pictures close to the glass. It was almost 8:30 before it was completely dark.
The night view of the city was fully lit at 19:30. I stood on the observation deck for half an hour until the lights finally came on. The observation deck was extremely crowded.
You need to take a taxi or bus to get to Nanshan Yikeshu directly from the Yangtze River Cableway. We took a motorcycle for 30 yuan. The ticket is 30 yuan per person. Remember to bring cash. The night view is really great and you can see the whole picture of Yuzhong District.
From here you can overlook the night view of the two rivers and the night view of Yuzhong Peninsula, which is very spectacular.
The night view is very beautiful, overlooking the night view of Chongqing River, it is beautiful
After purchasing your ticket, you can go directly to the observation deck, usually on the 5th or 6th floor, where you can enjoy the view from the open air. The night view is usually between 7 and 8 pm, so it is very important to get a good spot early. The 6th floor is a great spot for viewing and taking photos. If you are unlucky enough to stand in the second row or at the back, you are doomed to endure the next few minutes of leg numbness.
Located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, this scenic spot offers a fantastic panoramic and nighttime view of Chongqing. Unfortunately, public transportation isn't very convenient. While buses are available, the bus stop is quite far from the entrance. The mountain roads are narrow and lack pedestrian paths. Although drivers avoid pedestrians, it's still a bit unsettling to see cars whizzing by. But once you enter the scenic area, it's like another world—it's breathtakingly beautiful! Admission is 30 yuan, and you can hike within the scenic area, which boasts abundant vegetation and fresh air. An elevator takes you directly to the top of the viewing platform.
Yikeshu is an observation deck in Nanshan, one of the best places to overlook the night view of Chongqing.
On weekends, Yikeshu is packed with people, and traffic jams are common on the way up the mountain. It's recommended to go in the evening, waiting from dusk until dark to witness the magical Chongqing.
Because I hadn't done enough research, I hadn't realized this place was particularly suitable for viewing the night view, sunrise, and sunset. Perhaps because I was unwilling to give up, or perhaps because I felt bad about the 30 yuan entrance fee, I forced myself to go back and forth between the observation deck and the square in front two or three times. While the daytime view wasn't bad, having already seen the mountain city view from Kansheng Tower that day, I was inevitably a little disappointed when the view here wasn't what I had imagined.
First of all, this is really a rip-off attraction. Not only is the ticket seller's attitude bad, but it's just an observation deck where you can see the whole view of Chongqing. The scenery is quite nice and suitable for taking photos, but it is indeed a bit expensive.
After entering, you will see an observation deck. If it is early, you can take photos here as long as you want.
If the sun is about to set, you must go up quickly because the view will be better up there and you have to grab a spot quickly.
Don't hesitate after getting out of the elevator. Find the stairs and continue up one level to a large observation deck. When I arrived, the first row of seats were already taken. I barely squeezed into the second row and then slowly squeezed my way to the first row.
When it got dark, I finally understood why the taxi driver kept telling me that this place was boring.
Because it seems that the scenery you see for 30 yuan is not much different from the scenery you see for 5 yuan in Eling Park.
The most important thing is that the transportation to Eling Park is convenient! I was afraid that it would be too late and I couldn’t get a car back home, so I quickly took a few photos and prepared to retreat.
There are usually more people going there at night, and with the occasional drizzle, there are even fewer people. Overlooking the entire mountain city in the misty rain is a unique experience.
Recommended reason: The best angle to enjoy Chongqing's night view
Visiting tips: Ascend the mountain around 6 PM and descend before 8 PM to avoid peak crowds, as taxis will be difficult to find and traffic will be unbearable. The Yikeshu Observation Deck is the perfect spot for viewing Chongqing's mountain cityscape at night. When it's crowded, you'll need to queue and enter in batches. While not a commanding vantage point, the vantage point offers unobstructed views of the entire Yuzhong Peninsula, making it the most beautiful photo opp during the first lights. The Observation Tower (6 stories high) offers a sightseeing elevator directly to the 6th floor. However, the glass on the 6th floor makes taking photos difficult, so you can continue walking up to the rooftop. This is the highest vantage point in the scenic area, but branches may occasionally obstruct your view, so be mindful of your angles. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Laojun Cave, enjoy a hot pot at Waiguan, ascend the mountain, and then take the Yangtze River Cableway back down. If you have enough time and plan your trip well, you might even have time to visit Hongya Cave and Jiefangbei.
I went up the mountain after 9:30 in the evening. The road was really congested. There were so many people after I got in that it was difficult to find a good spot to take a good photo. The sky was also pitch black and looked ugly.

Nanshan Yikeshu is a must-see attraction in Chongqing. From here, you can overlook the skyscrapers of the entire Yuzhong District, so the night view here is very beautiful. The photos taken from here are almost postcards of Chongqing, so you must take good photos when you come here. However, it is far from the city center and there is no particularly good public transportation. After enjoying the night view, you may take a black car back, which is really bad. I hope that reliable public transportation will be available as soon as possible. It was raining when I went there, so I didn’t take any photos. If it rains, I recommend that you don’t go there.
The viewing platform of Yikeshu in Nanshan is not very big. The ticket price is 30 yuan. It is said that it is only 15 yuan in the off-season. I don’t know when the off-season for tourism in Chongqing is.
There are quite a few places to enjoy the night view at Nanshan Yikeshu, including an open-air and enclosed viewing platforms. It was packed, likely for the night view, so it's best to arrive early to secure a good spot. We went to the 7th floor, an open-air viewing platform, but the outermost circle was already occupied, so we had to stay on the second floor. Amidst the crowds, we managed to squeeze in a decent spot and snapped a spectacular photo of Chongqing's still-day light.
Chongqing was hazy and white that day, but it had a unique charm. The sky finally darkened, and the lights began to light up one by one, and the night of Chongqing began to fall in a dazzling array of lights. After a while, the sky darkened even further, and the lights reflected against the river, as if telling the story of Chongqing's various charms. Chongqing is beautiful like this, and it is worth savoring again and again.
It was 8:30 in Chongqing, and it was completely dark. The lights on the other side of the river were all on. Now, high up in a tree on Nanshan Mountain, I felt like I had accidentally seen every bit of Chongqing, and I really couldn't bear to miss a single detail.
I took a private car to the Nanshan Yikedui Scenic Area for 30 yuan. There are also motorcycle tricycles for 15 yuan, but considering that it is a mountain road and I have experienced the speed of motorcycle drivers here before, for safety reasons, it is more expensive.
We arrived at the Nanshan Observation Deck around 7:15 am. It was still bright and not crowded.
When we got to the observation deck, we realized that it wasn't that there weren't many people, but that others had already reserved seats on the highest viewing platform.
The night view is indeed beautiful, and it is said to be comparable to the night view of Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong.
But I still think the night view of Victoria Harbour is more beautiful
There are too many people, and we can't squeeze in at all.
Then I asked them, can I go in (stand at the front) and take some photos of the scenery?
Fortunately, they were very nice and made room for me.
I quickly took a few photos and left.
There were a lot of private cars at the entrance when I came out, and it felt a bit crowded.
With a student ID, you can get half price for 15 yuan, and you can see most of Chongqing. If you want to take pictures, you should focus on the transition from dusk to night. I arrived at around 6 o'clock and waited until the sun set at 7:30, and the night view was available at 8 o'clock. Remember to get there early to reserve a spot. If you take pictures at the front, you will get other people's phones caught in the back. It is best to get there early and sit there to reserve a spot. Then take pictures when it gets dark.
Tickets are not expensive, no more than 30. If you want to get a good angle, you must arrive before dusk and choose a central position on the roof. If you arrive late, the good spots will be taken.
The night view of Chongqing is still very beautiful
It gets dark very late in Chongqing. If you want to go to Nanshan Yikeshu to see the night view, you can go later. It will be dark around 7:30.
The observation deck was already crowded with tourists before night fell, but taking pictures on the observation deck would be reflected by the glass, so it would be better to take pictures from below.
In order to take pictures of the night view, you have to wait until after 8:30. It is very frustrating to wait for dark at your own position on the top of Nanshan Mountain, because there are people taking pictures all around. Once you leave, your position will be lost, so taking pictures is not easy.
When night falls, it is really beautiful. If you ask if there is any difference compared with the night views of other cities, it is because this is Chongqing, and other places may not have a special observation deck for viewing the night view, so it is not easy for you to see the panoramic view.
The open-air observation deck on the top floor was full of people at around four o'clock. They were all photography enthusiasts with tripods and cameras. I felt that I could not compete with them, so I could only squeeze in on the glass observation deck downstairs, because the position in the middle is the best, so it is quite necessary to grab a spot!
Nanshan Yikeshu is an observation deck built around a large tree, offering expansive views. From there, you can admire Chongqing's cityscape by day and the city's beauty by night. It's a must-see for any Chongqing city tour. And we're all about the night view, hahaha. From the observation deck, the dazzling lights of Chongqing's Yuzhong District shimmer in the distance. Against the backdrop of the night sky, the scenery is magnificent and dazzling.
Nanshan Yikeshu is probably the most worthwhile attraction in Chongqing. Climbing to the top floor, you can see the beautiful night view of Chongqing.
Nanshan Yikeshu is a great spot for taking photos, offering panoramic views. It's less crowded during the day, and it's even more beautiful at night. We didn't have much time, so we could only visit in the afternoon. The observation deck is free to go up, but a taxi from Xiaoshizi Station costs 9 yuan, but the return trip is 19 yuan.
Since we're young, we like to walk around more, so we didn't take a tuk-tuk directly to the top. Instead, we walked about a kilometer and took the bus. As a result, it took us almost two hours to reach the summit, which should have taken just over ten minutes. The path up the mountain is narrow, winding, and steep, and traffic is terrible. There's an entrance fee for the mountain, but I personally think it's okay. It's not particularly beautiful, but that's probably because I've seen the better night view.
Exit 2 was relatively less crowded, while Baidu Maps showed red congestion near Exit 1.
Take note: The off-season ticket price for Nanshan Yikeshu Observation Deck is ¥15. Discounts are only available for cash purchases. Online ticket purchases are at the original price, so you should bring some cash!
It is recommended to arrive at 19:00. If you arrive early, you don't have to pay the fee. However, they will start to chase people away at 6:30 (the toll booth has started).
After the tour, take the bus back to the cable car south station. Then visit the nearby Nanshan Yikeshu Observation Deck to enjoy the night view of Chongqing, which is said to be worth a million yuan.
You can rent a telescope for three dollars, which will give you a better view.
Admission to the observation deck is ¥30 per person. It gets dark around 8:30 PM in Chongqing, so parking is easy at Gate 1, and Gate 2 seems to sell tickets first. If you're taking a taxi, I recommend going to Gate 2, where tickets are sold at 7:00 PM. Be there around 6:30 PM to wait for the ticket vendors at the gate.
