It takes about three hours to get from downtown Chongqing to Wulong, so if you're planning a day trip, you should start early. The glass platform and sightseeing elevator aren't very recommended. The glass isn't kept clean, and visitors aren't required to wear insoles, so the view down below isn't very clear. The elevator also has a long line. If you're able to walk, I recommend walking down; the scenery is quite pleasant. After all, it's a filming location, and with its unique karst landscape, it's definitely worth a visit.

The massive karst landforms are a rare geological wonder in China! From an aerial perspective, the Tiankeng and Difeng tourist areas reveal naturally formed craters and fissures within the mountains. Not only is the scenery breathtakingly beautiful, but the sheer majesty of the scene itself is truly breathtaking! The large-scale live-action performance "Wulong Impression," directed by Zhang Yimou, is a truly unique audiovisual experience. The now-vanished Sichuan River haozi (Chinese harp song) will be revived, authentically recreating the folk customs and culture of the Bayu region. This truly captivating experience is also worth exploring. Furthermore, the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, with its breathtaking blend of forests, grasslands, dramatic peaks, and snowy plains, is known as the "Little Switzerland of the East." With so much to offer, Wulong is a must-see destination on any Chongqing trip. Be sure to reserve at least a day for Wulong; you won't be disappointed!

The Wulong Scenic Area is divided into several scenic spots. For example, the Three Natural Bridges and the Tiankeng Difeng are two separate attractions, requiring separate tickets. Combination tickets are also available, and we chose these two attractions. It turned out to be just right for us; we really didn't want to walk any further. Those with limited mobility should be aware of their limitations and make a good choice. As for the combined ticket for all five attractions, it's quite difficult for the average person to manage.

Cars cannot be driven in directly. You must buy or exchange tickets at the tourist service center or take the scenic area bus directly. The scenic area bus is included in the ticket. The reason why tickets are not checked when taking the bus is probably because even if you get on the bus, you cannot enter the scenic area without a ticket.

Personally, I think there is no need to exchange electronic tickets for physical tickets, and it is more convenient to swipe your ID card.

Because there were too many people queuing for the elevator to enter the scenic area, we walked into the mountain from Exit 2. There is a different world, the mountains are strange and the peaks are steep, it's worth the trip!

It encompasses the three natural bridges, Fairy Mountain, and Furong Cave, all of which are tourist attractions in Wulong, Chongqing. The Three Natural Bridges are located to the south of Fairy Mountain, between it and Wulong County. Fairy Mountain is located in Xiannvshan Town, Wulong County, Chongqing, within the Wuling Mountains in eastern Chongqing. Wulong, China, the filming location for Transformers, Curse of the Golden Flower, and Eternal Love, boasts attractions like the Three Natural Bridges, cenotes, and Tianfu Posthouse. A visit there will leave you marveling at the wonders of nature and the beauty of China.

Wulong is a tourist attraction that is very worth visiting. Instead of exploring the cultural sentiments in the attractions near the business district, it is better to come to Wulong to experience the natural wonders of nature.

By zhm_jinan |

The Three Natural Bridges are still very spectacular and worthy of being a world heritage site.

Wulong Karst landform is still worth visiting

Except for the expensive ticket, everything else is pretty good.

By Fireworks fade quickly |

Here in the Karst tourist area, some very unique and strange stones are displayed here

The Stone Feast is a full-scale banquet. Many of them look very similar to the real thing. There are two pieces of bacon that look very similar, and some that look like pig's trotters. The most special thing is the sea lily.

I feel that this place should be regarded as the back garden of Chongqing, with many European-style villas, and a resort for Chongqing people.

By Brave Little Demon |

I booked a customized small group of 2-4 people to Wulong in advance. As a person who studied tourism, I would rather choose a customized small group even if it is a little more expensive, so that I can have a different experience.

Our personal tour guide told me that it takes 32 tunnels to get from downtown Chongqing to Wulong. Oh my god, he didn't know I have a hobby: I love walking through tunnels, hahahaha.

I marveled at nature's uncanny craftsmanship. Three bridges (Qinglong Bridge, Tianlong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge) are arranged in a cross, forming a large tiankeng (sinkhole) resembling a giant monkey. Director Zhang's film, Curse of the Golden Flower, was filmed here. Those with a romantic connection can experience this for themselves. The climb up and down the mountain was exhausting, and it was already past 8 PM when we returned to the city.

During my trip to Chongqing, I found Wulong the most beautiful place. I regretted not staying there for a few more days.

By Magical buns |

We went to the Wulong Tiankeng and then to the Difeng. They were both very beautiful. The roads to the scenic spots are well maintained, so the elderly can also come to play. The steps are neat and it is not tiring to walk. I took all kinds of photos. It was very beautiful, very green, and not too cold. Anyway, I was enlightened.

By CatF |

I have to say I am amazed by the wonders of nature.

Friendly reminder: In Wulong, there will be free photo taking and keychain making. If you want a large photo, it will be 20 yuan per piece and 40 yuan for two. But don't take it if you don't want it, it's too bad.

By Watching the clouds roll and unfold |

Geologically speaking, both the tiankeng and the ground fissure are karst landforms, both well worth visiting. Both are nestled within the vast cliffs of Wulong. The experience is truly magical when you're there. Standing at the foot of the towering, sheer cliffs, you'll be struck by the insignificance of humankind and marvel at the myriad wonders of nature.

By Wang Bubble |

The scenery is particularly magical and wonderful, and the transportation is also very convenient.

You must come here. The scenery is really nice! I had no interest in it before I went, but after I went there, I felt that there is such a good place in Chongqing. Although the journey was difficult, it was worth it.

Entering the scenic area and walking down the stone steps, what comes into view can only be described as "shocking"! It's like being in another world.

By duainy- |

Anyway, it's rare to see mountains and water fall in love

By 0ran9e :) |

There's a discount on tickets with student IDs. Even though the whole route is downhill, you still have to walk up stairs. By the time we reached the crack in the ground, our legs were shaking. We couldn't stop because if we did, they would start shaking. Time was running out, so we just wanted to finish the hike and had no time to appreciate the beautiful scenery.

By Alina777 |

My advice is don't go. It's not expensive, but not worth it. 50 yuan per person. Just some stones.

By wangcc85 |

We walked down instead of taking the elevator, as we were told there would be a line. The massive, naturally formed rock portals were spectacular. We walked through them one by one. Some resembled eagles, others gorillas, some gushing fountains high up in the cliffs, some were vast, others dark and narrow. It was my first time seeing this kind of sunken karst terrain, and it was awe-inspiring.

This year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the World Heritage application, and the package ticket is 450 yuan. Real-name registration is required for all attractions except Impression Wulong, and ID cards are required.

There are five scenic spots in Wulong County that are under relatively strong development: Furong Cave, Furong River, Three Natural Bridges, Longshuixia Fissure, and Fairy Mountain.

It costs 10 yuan per person to go up the Fairy Mountain. The driving assistant suggested that we should not go up the mountain on rainy days. We immediately adjusted our itinerary and decided to go to Furong Cave in the afternoon. After all, we can visit the cave calmly and enjoy it without being disturbed even if it rains.

The visitor center can store luggage, but only until 6 p.m. Since Furong Cave is quite far away and we were worried we'd miss it, we decided to charter a car to get there, which would also allow us to send our luggage back to our accommodation. We asked the ticket seller to help us find a car for a half-day trip, which cost 450 yuan.

Wulong is a must-see destination in Chongqing, boasting abundant karst landforms. The most famous are the Tiankeng and Difeng Geological Park and the Furong Cave Scenic Area. The Tiankeng and Difeng Geological Park has even been designated a World Heritage Site. It has become increasingly popular in recent years and has a strong reputation. Wulong is well worth a visit.

By jinsemi |

I recommend the ground cracks, which go deep into the mountain and are even more amazing when viewed from the bottom up. The photos are probably not one ten-thousandth of the picture.

We arrived in Wulong on February 17th. Since we arrived at 3pm, we decided to go out the next day. We stayed across from the tourist reception center that night. We started queuing up to buy tickets at 9am and boarded the scenic bus to the Three Natural Bridges at 9:20am. We went to the Ground Crack around 12pm and finished around 1:30pm. We were quite tired that day, so we decided to go back to the hotel to rest.

On the morning of February 19th, we took a bus to Fairy Mountain. Since it was extremely foggy the past few days, there wasn't much to see. So, it's best to go on a sunny day. The weather in downtown Chongqing is still excellent.

Wulong is truly beautiful, but the journey is quite long, taking six hours round trip. Still, it's worth the trip. The air is so fresh. If you're not pressed for time, you'll want to stay at least a day to fully experience the area. It's quite crowded, and the walking distance is quite long, so be prepared. You might be sore the next day.

We can't call it Wulong Ground Crack, it's cool inside, but be careful when walking, it's very dangerous

By chenggongljy |

Wulong's scenery is breathtaking, and the Transformers are fantastic! Chewing on our Inner Mongolian specialty beef jerky is fantastic! It's nutritious, savory, and the more you chew, the better it tastes. It's handmade using traditional herders' methods, combined with modern baking techniques. It's incredibly delicious! It's free of preservatives and additives, perfect for children and pregnant women. If you're interested, add me on WeChat: chenggongljy

I took a one-day tour to Wulong, which can be said to be a natural oxygen bar. It was worth it to climb the mountain and see the scenery all day. The cracks in the ground were very cool.

Wulong's beautiful scenery will make you forget many worries and sorrows. Wulong's attractions are relatively simple, so just follow the signs and enjoy the scenery along the way.

The small river that suddenly appears in the mountains is really beautiful.

There were cows on the grassland. Although it was raining, it still felt great.

There are free photo spots in the scenic area, two each at the Three Natural Bridges and the Ground Crack, which can be made into the two sides of a keychain, which is really great. If you think the photos you took are good, you can buy a large photo back home for 15 yuan. Personally, I don't think it's necessary, just keep the small photo as a souvenir.

Wulong is really beautiful. Although it’s a little inconvenient when it rains, it’s really beautiful! ! ! ! Beautiful! ! ! ! Beautiful~! ! ! !

This kind of beauty is not static, the rain falls on the body, the spring water falls from the height, the leaves rustle, and people exclaim in admiration. All these sounds echo in the valley, which is very comfortable.

Wulong is really nice. As someone who likes natural scenery, I am very satisfied!

By What did you say? |

We drove for nearly four hours to the Wulong Scenic Area with great anticipation. When we arrived, the weather was a little cloudy. After we visited the Tiankeng and Difeng scenic areas, the sun came out again. So everyone should check the weather in advance before coming. If it is cloudy or rainy, some places in the scenic area will be a bit slippery.

After arriving, go to the visitor center to buy tickets for the tiankeng (you can get a 38% discount on scenic area tickets when booking a room at some hotels near the visitor center. We stayed at the Xiajia Hotel across from the visitor center. The decor is quite new and young people like it. Although our room didn't have air conditioning, it had electric heaters and electric blankets, so the room wasn't too cold). The tiankeng tour takes about two hours (on holidays, it's crowded and the pace is slow). Many people say the ground crack is more beautiful than the tiankeng, but I personally think the tiankeng is slightly better. After leaving the tiankeng, you can continue to the ground crack or take a bus directly back to the visitor center. Since we came all the way here, we lined up to buy electric car tickets at 15 yuan per person. You can also walk to the destination. Then, buy the ground crack tickets and enter the scenic area. We walked both areas because there were too many people waiting in line for the elevator. The ground crack takes about an hour to explore, and there are many steps. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

We planned to stay overnight at a nearby hotel. The service was good as mentioned before. The most infuriating thing was a restaurant called "Food Story". Haha, anyone who reads this review should definitely not choose it. Although people who often go to scenic spots know that prices are higher, this restaurant is expensive and the portion is small. A few pieces of stewed pork ribs with some bean sprouts, cabbage and kelp cost 258 (it was clearly marked, but the price was far from what they described). When it came time to pay, there was a restaurant from Fujian. It seemed like I made a note of the menu because I didn't order mutton, and we had an argument. My biggest suggestion for Wulong is to clean up the nearby farmhouses. This time it was really infuriating!

I visited the Three Natural Bridges in Wulong and was astounded by the wonders of nature. Humans shouldn't talk about transforming nature; let's just get along well with the Earth.

By Clickbaju |

I first learned about Wulong from watching "Where Are We Going, Dad?" Actually, the movie "Transformers 4: Curse of the Golden Flower" was filmed there. The Three Natural Bridges have a unique, spacious beauty. Maybe that's not the right description, but I truly feel the wonders of nature.

The overpass, ground cracks, and caves are all karst landform scenic spots. It feels close to nature. In addition, the Transformers movie was also filmed here, making it a popular place now. It also fully reflects the mountain city of Chongqing. It is a very good scenic spot.

By Angels on the Road |

The karst scenic area is a national 5A-level scenic spot. The Tiansheng Sanqiao Scenic Area is renowned for its magnificent and unique "three bridges sandwiched between two cenotes." The world's largest natural bridge complex and the second-largest cenote complement each other beautifully. The cenotes are connected by bridge arches, and the bridges are connected by cenotes, creating a grand, imposing, and magnificent spectacle. Visitors can also visit the only filming location for Zhang Yimou's "Curse of the Golden Flower" and Michael Bay's "Transformers 4," and see the ancient Tang Dynasty post station.

Wulong Karst National Geopark is actually the combined name of the Three Natural Bridges Geopark and the Furong Cave and Furong River Geopark, located on the north and south banks of the Wujiang River, respectively. I'm baffled by the separate ticketing options for the same karst national geopark. Tickets to Wulong's attractions are incredibly expensive. Previously, you could use the Chongqing Tourism Annual Pass, but now none of them are included. The Three Natural Bridges are a classic example of karst landforms, with admission costing 135 yuan in peak season and 95 yuan in off-season. The stalactites in Furong Cave represent sedimentary features from over 30 cave types worldwide, with admission costing 120 yuan in peak season and 65 yuan in off-season. The karst geology of the Furong River is primarily characterized by fault markings along its banks and a prominent stratigraphic section at the river mouth. Booking tickets on websites like Xiaodu is recommended, as they typically offer a 10% discount. Simply scan your ID card at the ticket machine at the ticket counter to avoid long lines. Shuttle buses run from the county seat to these attractions, typically every ten minutes. Driving is recommended for convenient parking and transfers between attractions.

After entering the scenic area, there is an 80-meter sightseeing elevator similar to the Bailong Elevator in Zhangjiajie, which can only go down but not up. After exiting the elevator, there is another step down the mountain road. You have to walk all the way down to the bottom of the tiankeng.

This inn is where Ni Dahong, Chen Jin, and Li Man ran to in the movie Curse of the Golden Flower and were chased by men in black. Li Man and Chen Jin ran back to the palace, and Ni Dahong was hacked to death here.

It is very cool here in the crack of the ground. It should be a good place to escape the heat in summer. Just think about a hot city like Chongqing. It is so cool to come here to escape the heat and cool down in summer.

By Tan Qiqi |

It's so majestic, but my camera can't capture it well! There are many pictures that I didn't include. There is an elevator that takes you to the valley in no time. The whole way there, I was thinking about how insignificant humans are! The Three Natural Bridges are definitely worth seeing.

Because we were in a hurry, we later found out that the tickets for the Three Natural Bridges and the Earth Crack were purchased separately. Also, we didn’t have enough time. Unfortunately, we didn’t go to the Earth Crack. It is said that it is close to the center of the earth.

By Little Black Qiqi |

There are so few people. There are almost no cars in the parking lot, let alone tourist buses. There is a promotion going on now, and the combined ticket for Tiankeng and Difeng is 170, which includes the eco-friendly car in the scenic area. Soon after entering the scenic area, I arrived at an elevator. There are only two floors, 0 and -1. I took the elevator down to the tiankeng. There were really few people. There were misty raindrops in the air, and the leaves were all fresh green. There were misty clouds on the top of the mountain. The fresh air is sweet for someone like me who breathes Beijing's smog every day. Because it rained all night, all the waterfalls and streams have a lot of water, and I feel really happy. You have to take the elevator down as soon as you enter the Difeng Scenic Area. I think the Difeng is more beautiful than the tiankeng. The most beautiful and impressive thing is a large waterfall with a roaring sound of water and an amazing momentum.

It is now a world natural heritage site. Wulong County has done a great job in tourism. The overall scenic spots are neatly arranged and the planning of the conquest is particularly good. ATMs and other signs can be seen everywhere in the county town, and the details are well done.

The momentum was so great, walking in the green grass and forest, I felt as if I was in another world, cheering in excitement...

It is definitely a place worth visiting, also known as the Three Natural Bridges. The landforms here are unique in the world and it is difficult to describe in words. You will understand when you go there.

I didn’t know much about Wulong National Geopark at first, but when I saw that it was a filming location for a movie, I realized that it is a truly unique place.

A world natural heritage site. It is also the location where Zhang Yimou filmed the exterior scenes of his film "Curse of the Golden Flower."

Why is it a sin? Actually, it's nothing. They just force everyone to take their "environmentally friendly car" in addition to buying tickets. The round trip costs 40 yuan. The ticket price is half, but the eco-friendly car is the full price. In the end, the fare is more expensive than the ticket price. I accept this. After all, it is to protect the local environment. There is nothing to say. But you don't need to get a gasoline-powered eco-friendly car... Just get a tram. Oh, no complaints, I made the visitor center gray, and you can just look down on it.

Pay attention to the opening and closing times of the attractions. Tickets to Fairy Mountain, Furong Cave, Earth Crack, and the Three Natural Bridges are all half-price for students (excluding the eco-friendly bus fee to the Tiankeng and Earth Crack).
