Zhongshan 4th Road: Known as "Chongqing's most beautiful neighborhood," this short 800-meter street has weathered the vicissitudes of life, experiencing the period of the temporary capital and the arduous years of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. It is one of the areas with the greatest concentration of anti-Japanese war cultural heritage. Dotted with Guiyuan Garden, Zhou Mansion, and Dai Mansion, Zhongshan 4th Road is imbued with the charm of the Republican era.

Transportation: Subway Line 2, Zengjiayan Exit C

It is known as the most beautiful street in Chongqing. The former site of the Presidential Palace of the National Government, Zhou Mansion, Dai Mansion, Guiyuan, Teyuan, Zhang Xiang Mansion, etc. are all concentrated here.

I'd heard Zhongshan 4th Road was so artistic, but when I got there, I discovered it was lined with schools and government agencies (including a cultural and creative park), with buildings that leaned towards the Republican era. It felt like a scene from "The Garden of Words," with a tranquil and delicate beauty. The sight of a beautiful woman standing there was breathtakingly beautiful.

I love this street, I really love it. I arrived a little late, as Guiyuan Garden closed its doors at 4:30 PM, and the other gardens also closed one after another. I'll regret it and bring my parents back next time! I heard the Wudu Hotel on Zhongshan 4th Road is very nice, and I'd love to see it again if I get the chance...

After leaving Xiahao, I entered Zhongshan 4th Road, my last checkpoint of the day. Taking the light rail to Zhongshan Road, I was surprised to find the station is located halfway up the mountain. Exiting the station requires entering a tunnel and then taking a direct elevator. There are no steps, so you can't walk out. I really admire the designers. Zhongshan Road is the seat of the Chongqing government. Many famous politicians and writers once lived here. However, from a tourist perspective, there's not much to see here. After all, these government offices are still here, and you can't visit them. You can only stroll along the road.
