Jiuqu River is located in the peaks and valleys of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. It is named Jiuqu River because of its three bends and nine turns.
Jiuqu River meanders freely from west to east, and its curves are full of interesting scenes, and its bends are full of beautiful scenery. The "four bends" are where the little white dragon was born in the film "Journey to the West". Each bend has its own artistic conception, with shallow water forming a beach and deep water forming a pool. You can enjoy the scenery of Jiuqu River by taking a bamboo raft down the river from Xingcun or climbing the steps from Wuyi Palace in just half a day.

Jiuqu Creek is located in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. It is called Jiuqu Creek because the creek is winding. It enters Wuyi Mountain through Xing Village and then turns into nine sections, which are called Jiuqu. As Jiuqu Creek is winding, it deeply cuts through the Wuyi peaks, forming a wonderful landscape of nine bends of clear streams circling the green peaks. Riding on a bamboo raft to enjoy the mountain scenery has become a major feature of Wuyi Mountain tours.
To the starting point of the Jiuquxi Bamboo Raft Wharf, you can take a bus from the South Gate of the scenic area to the South Entrance Station. If there are special circumstances, you can also take a taxi from the hotel where you are staying to go outside the scenic area. There are bamboo rafts parked at the pier, and each raft needs to be full of 8 people. The pier staff will arrange a group of 8 tourists and lead them to the bamboo rafts. Each raft has two raft workers, and the whole journey takes 90 minutes.
When Zhu Xi and his friends were boating on Jiuqu River, he wrote the Jiuqu Zao Ge, which is the earliest long scroll masterpiece that summarizes and describes the scenery of Wuyi Jiuqu River among all the poems that sang in praise of Wuyi by literati and poets of all dynasties. Jiuqu River became famous all over the world because of this poem.
Jiuqu River originates from the densely forested Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve and is 62.8 kilometers long. The section of the river that enters the scenic area is not only affected by the natural bends of the river, but also controlled by the direction of multiple rock fractures, forming deep bends, making the 9.5-kilometer-long river only 5 kilometers in straight distance, with a curvature of 1.9. Jiuqu River has clear water, abundant water sources, and water quality that meets the national surface water Class I standard.
Jiuqu Creek is a stream on the southwest foot of Huanggang Mountain, the main peak of Wuyi Mountain, and is located in the valley of peaks and rocks of Wuyi Mountain. Wuyi Mountain has 36 peaks and 99 rocks. Peaks and rocks intersect, streams crisscross, and Jiuqu Creek runs through them, winding for 15 miles. It is named Jiuqu Creek because it has three bends and nine turns. The mountain embraces the water, and the water flows around the mountain. Each bend has a different landscape painting. The nine bends of the stream pour down the liquid clouds, and the mountain light is reflected in the clear ripples. It vividly outlines the beautiful outline of Jiuqu Creek.
The best way to visit Jiuqu Creek is to take a bamboo raft along the creek and take in the beautiful landscape of Wuyi Mountain.
We started rafting from the "Nine Bends" on a bamboo raft. This way, drifting with the current is more light and fast. The boats used to travel the Nine Bends are made of 8-9 peeled bamboos that have been roasted and tied together. They have a shallow draft and great buoyancy. Tourists can ride comfortably and stably, with a wide field of vision, where you can see the mountain scenery and enjoy the water. Rafting down the Nine Bends River is both relaxing and comfortable, and there is no danger. It is a slightly stimulating tourist project in modern tourism.
Jiuqu River is known as the most beautiful stream in China. You can take a sightseeing bus from the entrance of the scenic area to the dock, and then set off on a raft with six people. The rafting on Jiuqu River is not only about manually paddling the raft. The road is winding and the mountains are beautiful. From time to time, you can go down through some rapids and dangerous shoals. When you reach the calm water section, you can also watch schools of stream fish chasing each other. It can really be said that "looking up, you can see the strange peaks, and looking down, you can enjoy the water." In the cool breeze in the morning, this slow and leisurely experience is really a kind of enjoyment. I couldn't help but improvise a little song "A small bamboo raft flows in the river, and the towering green mountains are on both sides..."
It's great to walk in the painting. You have to go early, otherwise it will be too sunny.
Too average, especially the explanation requires tipping, and all the jokes are dirty
Green water and red mountains are a paradise on earth in the southeast
This should be the most pleasant and comfortable drifting, where you can enjoy the scenery on both sides of the river.
I went there during the National Day in 2017. I didn't encounter the prospect of huge crowds of people. The scenery was nice.
If you go to Jiuquxi, please tip for a better experience. Don't save the 20 yuan. The journey takes about an hour and a half. You don't need to buy shoe covers or fish food. The explanation is very good and quite humorous.
The Jiuqu River rafting is very beautiful, with nine bends and eighteen turns, and there are many people
You can learn about the local culture and history, appreciate the most essential parts of Wuyi Mountain, and experience Zhu Xi's feelings when visiting Jiuqu River.
Jiuqu River is a river in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. The scenery on both sides of the river is very beautiful. You can take a bamboo raft here.
The scenery of Wuyi Mountain, Jiuqu River and Jiudaowan are all beautiful in their own way.
The waterscape of Wuyi Mountain is in Jiuqu Creek. Without Jiuqu Creek, the scenery would be half as beautiful. You can enjoy it from a bamboo raft or from a mountain. The water is clear and lovely.
The clear stream water seems to have a magical quality. People passing by take off their shoes and socks and throw themselves into the embrace of the stream, regardless of the scorching sun. It must be said that the ecological environment of Jiuqu Creek is really good. Standing in the ankle-deep stream water, small fish swim around your feet in groups, so happy.
Jiuqu Creek meanders freely as you go down along the creek. On the way you can see the filming locations of Little White Dragon Emerging from the Water and The Three Fights with the White Bone Demon. The Erqu Peak is graceful and elegant, and the illustration "Who is by the water?" is beautiful. The Sanqu is full of boats that have been docked in the ravine for who knows how many thousand years!
Jiuqu River, the filming location of Journey to the West, the boatman will tell you which shot was taken at which location. If it is sunny or rainy, the photos of Shaibu Rock are very beautiful.
Thousands of peaks on both sides of Jiuqu River are in sight, and the green mist is reflected in the blue waves.
Li Gang, a famous prime minister of the Song Dynasty, sang about this:
Wuyi Ancient Cave Heaven has thirty-six unique peaks.
A stream runs through the mountains, its clear water winding around nine bends.
There are rocks and peaks along the stream, and their reflections are immersed in the cold green.
Li Gang (July 27, 1083 - February 5, 1140), courtesy name Bo Ji and alias Liangxi Xiansheng, was born in Wuxi, Changzhou, and his ancestral home was Shaowu, Fujian. He was a famous minister who fought against the Jin Dynasty during the Song Dynasty and a national hero. For the safety of the country and the people, Li Gang effectively organized the defense of Bianjing (now Kaifeng) and repeatedly repelled the Jin soldiers.
Zhu Xi commented on Li Gang: Gang knew that he had a monarch and a father but not his own body, he knew the safety and danger of the world but was unaware of his own chronic illness. Although he was banished and on the verge of death due to slander, his determination to love his country and worry about his monarch could not be taken away. He can be said to be a great man of the time!
The classic project must be experienced, but it is a bit uncomfortable to pay tips.
The five stars are purely for the natural scenery. In fact, the boatman was so embarrassed and felt so boring because other people on the boat were unwilling to tip. There are actually three must-sees and must-dos in Wuyi Mountain: Jiuqu River Bamboo Rafting, Tianyou Peak, and Dahongpao! The others are all accessories. If you come to Wuyi Mountain and don't see or play these three, it's like coming to Wuyi Mountain in vain! Jiuqu River Bamboo Rafting is the soul of Wuyi Mountain. The whole Jiuqu River Bamboo Rafting takes about 90 minutes and 9.5 kilometers. 76% of the scenery of Wuyi Mountain can be seen here, surrounded by clouds and mist, and it is beautiful! There are 6 people on a bamboo raft. There is an unwritten rule here. I personally suggest that each person give the bamboo raft boatman 20 yuan. They will give you a full explanation and take photos for you. Otherwise, you don’t know where is which, which is boring. Since you are out to play, don’t save 20 yuan. My boat, because other people don’t want to go out, it’s meaningless for me to go out alone. The bamboo raft boatman was almost frowning throughout the whole process. I could only take photos by myself. It was boring! In fact, it costs 110 to buy a ticket for Jiuquxi bamboo raft rafting alone. Since the ticket does not include the explanation, it is recommended that the scenic spot and the bamboo raft boatman coordinate well and give more subsidies to the bamboo raft boatman, otherwise it will affect the mood of tourists!
A must-see when you come to Wuyi Mountain. It is recommended to give the boatman some tips so that he can explain the whole journey. The duration is one and a half hours
You can see the panoramic view at the top of the mountain, which is a famous landmark in the scenic area.
Beautiful, beautiful, many scenic spots have landscapes similar to Horseshoe Bay, such as the First Bay. Here, there are clear water, green mountains, and Horseshoe Bay. It is very beautiful.
Jiuqu River originates from the densely forested western part of Wuyi Mountain. It has abundant water and clear water. It is 62.8 kilometers long and flows through the ecological protection area in the middle. It meanders through the Danxia landform in the east. It is distributed among the mountains, rocks and valleys and controlled by the deep fault direction, forming a deep river bend, winding around the peaks, rocks and valleys. The 9.5-kilometer river bend is only 5 kilometers in straight-line distance, and the curvature is 1.9 kilometers. The two banks of Jiuqu River are typical monocline Danxia landforms, with 36 strange peaks and 99 rocks. All the peaks and rocks have sloping tops, steep bodies, and gentle foothills. They look eastward, like thousands of horses galloping, majestic and in various shapes. The superior climate and habitat have covered the peaks with a layer of green. The peaks at the foot of the mountain and the crevices of the rocks are all covered with verdant vegetation, creating the wonder of "trees growing on stones" and forming a rare natural landscape.
You need to book tickets in advance and make an appointment. The rafting time is quite long, and the scenery along the way is very good. It seems that you won't get an explanation if you don't pay separately, but you can remember it in your mind, and then there is a museum not far from the boat, which can tell you by looking at the pictures.
It has a bit of Guilin landscape. The most enjoyable part of the trip to Wuyi Mountain is bamboo rafting.
I love Jiuqu River the most. In late autumn, choose a sunny afternoon, sit on a bamboo raft and drift for a while, listen to the explanation, look at the scenery on both sides of the river, feed the fish in the water, and close your eyes to rest. The years are quiet and good, and I love it.
Wuyi Mountain is undoubtedly the best mountain and water in East China, and Jiuqu Creek is its most exquisite part. Sitting on a bamboo raft, you will be surrounded by tranquility with only the sounds of bamboo poles paddling in the water and touching stones. The mountains not far away are of different shapes, and the creek is sometimes calm and sometimes turbulent. You will feel as if you are completely in a painting by ancient literati.
Although I have also taken a bamboo raft trip in Longhu Mountain, which is also part of the Wuyi Mountains and has exactly the same content, what makes it incomparable to Wuyi Mountain is the exquisiteness of the Jiuqu River, which is winding and quiet, and all green. The most beautiful and shocking part of the entire bamboo raft trip is the process of seeing the Yunu Peak. If you like taking pictures, sitting in the last row on the left will have the best angle.
Jiuqu River can be said to be the most essential part of Wuyi Mountain. The most suitable way to enjoy it is to take a bamboo raft. Sitting comfortably on the bamboo raft, admiring the beautiful scenery on both sides, slowly going down the river and passing through one bay after another is definitely a kind of enjoyment. Highly recommended!
I personally feel it's OK, especially in terms of viewing, it feels better than climbing a mountain! It's probably because of the National Day holiday. When queuing to board the ship at the dock, it was very chaotic. There was no staff to maintain it, and queue-jumping occurred frequently. The experience was very bad!
A stream runs through the mountains, its clear water winding through nine bends. Rocks and peaks are lined up beside the stream, their reflections soaked in cold green.
The boatmen are all experienced drivers. Chatting with them will add a lot of fun to the one-hour bamboo rafting, haha. The road goes from Jiuqu to Yiqu. The scenery of the old Wuyi Mountains from the stream is quite good! Try to catch the first bamboo raft in the morning. One is when the boatman is the strongest, and the other is to avoid being too exposed to the sun at noon. Then it is the beginning of a day of good mood travel. Haha, very satisfied. Many beauties cannot be photographed with mobile phones.
Tianyou Peak and Jiuqu River are two must-see attractions in Wuyi Mountain! ! No need to say more, you must come
I went to Wuyi Mountain for the Jiuqu River bamboo raft. I also rode a bamboo raft when I was 7 years old. I still remember it clearly. But now it is better developed and the scenery is also very good. It is recommended to go in spring and autumn. It is very hot in summer. The Jiuqu River bamboo raft ride takes one and a half hours. Each bamboo raft is equipped with 2 boatmen. They are part-time tour guides. Each person needs a tip of 20 yuan. You can take pictures of your friends near Dawang Peak on the way, and you can even experience being a boatman and paddling a bamboo raft yourself.
Drifting on Jiuqu River, I realized that the Nine Bends and Eighteen Turns refers to this place. The mountains and rivers along the way are perfectly combined. The bamboo raft passes through the bamboo forest in the rain, which is very poetic.
The scenery is very beautiful, the ecology is very good, the water of Jiuqu River is crystal clear, there are a lot of big and small fish, the fish rush to eat the bread as soon as it is spread. The mountains on both sides are green, and the air is very fresh.
Jiuqu Creek is a stream on the southwest foot of Huanggang Mountain, the main peak of Wuyi Mountain, located in the valley of peaks and rocks of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. The route is named after the fact that it winds and meanders among the mountains of Wuyi Mountain. It is about 10 kilometers long and has beautiful scenery along the coast, with undulating peaks and clear streams. It is a pleasant experience to go rafting on a bamboo raft. Along the way, you can see scenic spots such as Dawang Peak, Yunv Peak, Yinping Peak, Yunwo Peak, Tianyou Peak, Shaibu Rock, and Sanyang Peak.

Wuyishan Scenic Area Jiuqu River Rafting is the most worthwhile place to go. The scenery is beautiful and the water is beautiful. It is very enjoyable to sit on the bamboo raft. It has a unique style. After getting on the boat, I gave the master a tip. There are six people on a bamboo raft. If you don't give, the master will row faster. There is no explanation, so I feel that giving 20 yuan is more acceptable. There is often water at the bottom of the bamboo raft that will overflow the instep. In summer, you can step on the water wearing sandals. In winter, it is best to buy a plastic rain boot cover at the door to cover your feet.
Jiuqu River is the essence of Wuyi Mountain, and is famous for its nine bends around the mountain.
Jiuqu River rafting, as the name suggests, has nine bends. From Jiuqu to Area 1, the end point is Wuyi Palace. You can take a shuttle bus to Water Curtain Cave and walk along the Wandering Trail to the Dahongpao Scenic Area.
Very satisfied with this place!!! Rainy days have a more rainy taste
Jiuqu River rafting is a must-do itinerary for tourists in Wuyi Mountain. The scenery is breathtaking as you drift down the river on a bamboo raft.
The boatmen of Jiuqu River rafting actually have a hard time. They have to start working in the early morning when it is still light. Generally speaking, they have to run the boat three times a day, and even four times when it is busy. There are two boatmen in total, one standing at the bow and the other at the stern. The boatman at the stern is more talkative. After paying a little tip, he began to introduce us to the whole story of Jiuqu River.
From the origins of the peaks of Wuyi Mountain to the hanging coffins of Wuyi Mountain, from the local customs of Wuyi Mountain to the specialty of Wuyi Mountain, the boatman knew almost everything like a competent tour guide. We sat on the boat for more than an hour, listened to the boatman's stories for an hour, and basically learned about all aspects of Wuyi Mountain, big and small. It was really worth the trip.
The Jiuqu River bamboo rafting can be said to be the main attraction in Wuyi Mountain. The ticket price is 130 yuan, 6 people per raft, free combination, but the ticket is not easy to buy, it is best to book in advance. The river is divided into nine bends, the mountains are green along the way, the water is green, and the peaks on both sides are of different shapes, forming a natural gallery of clear water and red mountains.
The so-called "Three-Three Waters of the River" (Jiuqu River) refers to the beautiful scenery here. The nine bends around the mountains, green mountains and clear waters, the scenery is picturesque and refreshing.
We boarded the raft from the raft dock and disembarked at Wuyi Palace, passing through nine bends from Jiuqu to Yiqu. The water flow of Jiuqu River is not always as calm as you would expect from a sideline. It is still somewhat turbulent in some bends and downhill places. The water is not always as shallow as it seems. According to the boatman, the deepest place is four or five meters or even deeper.
It is said that the ticket price for bamboo raft used to be 100 yuan, and each person had to pay a 20 yuan tip when getting on the boat; but when we bought it, whether online or at the ticket office, it was 130 yuan without discount. The boatman took the initiative to tell stories and anecdotes about various attractions along the way, and did not mention tipping. Maybe it is included in the new ticket price.
There are some well-known peaks that are difficult to see by land, such as Sanyang Peak, Dawang Peak, and Yunu Peak, which have good viewing angles from the bamboo raft. We did not climb these places either, thinking that it was enough to see them on the water. On the stone walls on both sides, the ancient cliff carvings can still be seen everywhere. I don’t know how they carved them in the past-perhaps for the people who carved the characters, it is because it looks difficult to do that they can pretend to be more perfect. All the way, the peaks turn back and the water turns, and the bamboo rafts follow the former one by one to travel between the mountains, giving a feeling of "mountains and rivers are so dense that there seems to be no way, and there is another village after the dark willows and flowers". There are sometimes jagged rocks on both sides of the river, and sometimes there are cliffs thousands of feet high, smooth as a mirror. There are traces of waterfalls on the mountains, and brightly colored stripes hang down vertically. This may be the unique scenery of the Danxia landform in Wuyi Mountain.
Red mountains and clear water, various strange rocks, I love the dolphin face the most ~ a lot of inscriptions ~ the drifting time is very long, passing many scenic spots. There is less water in winter, and judging from the water marks on the rocks, there should be a lot more water in summer. The boatman said it is best to come in May and June, when there are fewer people and more water. I heard that the boatman had private consumption before, but I didn't find it this time, so it should have been rectified.
The Yilan Pavilion in Shangtianyou is definitely the best place to take pictures of the distant view of Jiuqu River. This is the fifth and sixth bends of Jiuqu River. Green mountains and clear waters, cliffs, 360-degree river bends, and boats on the river, winding, very shocking scenery!
"The stream flows through nine bends, pouring out the liquid of clouds, and the mountain light is immersed in the clear ripples." This vividly outlines the beautiful outline of Jiuqu River. So it is said that the soul of Wuyi is in Jiuqu River. The water tool for visiting Jiuqu River is the simple bamboo raft, which the locals call bamboo raft. Sitting on the raft to view the mountains, you can see pictures as far as the eye can see. The red mountains, clear water, green trees, blue sky and white clouds complement each other, presenting the colorful beauty of Wuyi Mountain. Along the way, you can see strange peaks overlapping and standing in the air. The high and low mountains are like flags waving, and the majestic rock peaks are like thousands of horses galloping. It shows the extremely charming uneven beauty in nature. Wuyi Mountain has a history of more than 1,000 years of using bamboo rafts as a means of sightseeing transportation. Because of its large buoyancy, shallow draft, lightness and flexibility, the raftsman only needs to use a bamboo pole to control it. It can drift smoothly through the deep pool, or slide down the shallows quickly; it can cleverly avoid the reefs standing in the middle of the stream, and can turn sharply. People sitting on the raft are unobstructed and immersed in the green water and red mountains in all directions. There is no noise or pollution. You can see the mountain scenery when you look up, the water color when you look down, the sound of the stream when you lean your ears, and the clear waves when you stretch out your hands. There is stillness in the movement and movement in the stillness, and it is a combination of hardness and softness. It can be said that "the bamboo raft flows in the water and the people swim in the painting". Going downstream from the Nine Bends to the First Bend, you can see the beautiful scenery of Wuyi.
Look at Jiuqu River from afar on the mountain, take a walk around it every evening, and marvel at the wonders of nature.
Jiuqu River is located in the valley of Wuyi Mountain, winding for about 15 miles. It is named Jiuqu River because of its three bends and nine turns. The mountains are surrounded by water, and the water flows around the mountains. Jiuqu River can be said to be a changing scene. Each bend has a different landscape painting. The best way to experience the changing scenery of Jiuqu River is rafting. Jiuqu River rafting is different from the traditional rafting. It is to sit on a bamboo raft and go downstream. The bamboo rafting starts from the first bend and ends at the ninth bend. It takes nearly two hours along the way, passing through peaks and gorges, and flowing through shallows, rapids, and whirlpools. Sometimes it is as smooth as a mirror, and sometimes it is thrilling. You can enjoy the strange peaks and rocks on both sides, feel the coolness of the stream, and explore historical and cultural relics...
The scenery along the way is still beautiful. Looking down from above, Jiuqu River is super beautiful, with green water and green mountains...
Jiuqu River, as its name implies, has nine bends. If you buy a map, such as a hand-drawn map (which you get for free when traveling), you can clearly see which nine bends they are, and you can have a clearer view when you are visiting.
[You must go to ride the bamboo raft on Jiuqu River! ] Haha, I think you all know this even if I don't say it. There are so many famous mountains in China, and the beautiful waters are so deep that I don't know how much they are rippling, but the two reflect each other, and the gentle and graceful water flows through the quiet and solemn mountains, which is unique to Jiuqu River in Wuyi Mountain. Sitting on the bamboo raft, walking in the long-flowing water, what you see are the majestic, beautiful or natural mountains. We are fortunate to know this gift of the great beauty of heaven and earth, and our life is worth it.
Very good rafting to see Wuyi, easy and enjoyable, suitable for all ages, much better than taking the ferry on the Li River
1. Jiuqu River Bamboo Raft Rafting (four-star): 130 yuan
According to the rafting staff, the best time for bamboo rafting is the early morning in mid-September, when there is a higher chance of seeing clouds and fog. The bamboo rafting starts at 6:30 am. On sunny days, it is best to make an appointment before 8 am or after 3 pm, otherwise it will be very sunny the whole time!
There are six people in a row, and two rowers. Each person needs to pay an additional 20 yuan tip for the rower's explanation. My experience proves that you still have to pay it actively. Our rower's explanation was very thorough, and the atmosphere was harmonious. The total drifting time was 105 minutes. Those who didn't pay the tip, the rower didn't say a word, and the gliding was very fast. It took 75 minutes to finish. The difference is still huge!
2. Tianyou Scenic Area (three and a half stars)
The disadvantage is that there is only one way up the mountain, and there are many people in the off-season, and the fork road to Yinping Peak has been blocked. In the bustling crowd, you can't appreciate the good scenery.
3. Yulong Valley (three and a half stars)
The scenic area is very quiet, with high negative oxygen ions. The Ming Dynasty silver mine cave on the top of the mountain is very primitive and exciting (there are many bats in it, so timid girls should not enter). The disadvantage is that the water quality is not very clear, because there is a fish pond at the source of the mountain top.
4. A Line of Sky (Three and a Half Stars)
The narrowest part of the road is only 30 centimeters. Fat people are not allowed to enter, as they will get stuck and cause a traffic jam!
5. World Heritage Experts’ Inspection Route (three and a half stars)
There is a route for World Heritage experts to inspect between Yitiantian and Huxiaoyan. It is very quiet and nice.
6. Tiger Roaring Rock (three stars)
You can visit it together with Yixiantian and Yunv Peak, the whole journey takes more than 2 hours.
7. Taoyuan Cave (Xiao Taoyuan) (three stars)
Taoyuan Cave is not actually a cave, but a valley. Turning around the foot of the mountain, the view is suddenly open, as if it is a paradise on earth, and a Taoist temple is being expanded. From Tianyou to Taoyuan Cave, and from Taoyuan Cave to Yunwo, the road is very quiet, and the scenery is on the road.
8. Wuyi Palace and Song Street (three stars)
When I went to the lower row of the rafting, I didn't encounter any tour groups, so it was relatively quiet and felt okay.
9. Wanchun Garden and Dawang Peak (three stars)
Near Wuyi Palace, most tourists don't go there, so it's quite quiet. After crossing Dawang Peak, you can enter Zhizhi Temple (the gate is closed due to family conflicts, but there is a small path), and on the way back, you can pass through Wanchun Garden without going back.
10. Qinglong Waterfall. The water of the waterfall is quite big, but the scenic area is a bit small. If you are fast, you can reach the end in less than an hour. Half of the mountain trails are closed and not repaired, because you have to take the sightseeing bus, which is self-destructive. The ticket is 80 yuan, the sightseeing bus is 20 yuan, and the online ticket is 72 yuan. The sightseeing bus is only 2 kilometers to the middle of the mountain, which is mainly a scam. In short, the scenery is okay, but the cost performance is not high.
11. The Rocky and Flowery Path between Dahongpao and Shuilian Cave (three stars)
It's okay to just walk around, but if you don't have enough time, you don't have to go to these two attractions.
12. Da Hong Pao (one star)
There is nothing much to say, just a big stone with the three words "Da Hong Pao" engraved on it.
13. Water Curtain Cave (1 star)
There are a few drops of water floating above the Water Curtain Cave, how pitiful!
14. Jade Maiden Peak (two stars): a scenic spot worth taking photos of.
15. Yongle Temple (one star): Still under renovation.
Zhu Xi's "Nine-bend Boat Song" begins with a short introduction, explaining the reason for composing the song. "There are fairies on Mount Wuyi, and the cold currents below the mountain are winding and clear. If you want to know the wonders of the place, just listen to two or three boat songs." This is actually a preface to the poem, in order to introduce the chanting of the wonders of Wuyi.
The order of Zhu Xi's "Nine-Bend Boat Song" was to take a boat upstream, but it is more dangerous to take a bamboo raft upstream, so people nowadays tour the Nine-Bend from Pingchuan of Xingcun Ferry, and go downstream from the Nine-Bend to the First-Bend.
Jiuqu River is a stream on the southwest foot of Huanggang Mountain, the main peak of Wuyi Mountain Range, located in the deep valley of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. It is named Jiuqu River because of its three bends and nine turns.
Jiuqu River meanders freely from west to east, and its curves are full of interesting scenes. The "four bends" are where the birth of Little White Dragon was filmed in Journey to the West. Each bend is a unique scene, with shallow waters forming beaches and deep waters forming pools. Visit the Jiuqu River and take a bamboo raft down the river from Xingcun.
(跟團去的)一共十人在竹筏上。景色也很美。可以拍很多的裝B照。講解員泡的茶也很讚。山歌也很動聽還教我們幾句當地的方言。一定要去體驗一下!
The public service is given three stars for the staff at the tourist service center and the telephone consultation. The staff at the tourist service center is basically in a state of inaction. The information provided by the telephone consultation staff is not accurate; but the scenery of Jiuqu River is very good. In Wuyi Mountain, you can really float in the water to see the mountains and climb up the mountains to see the water. The mountains and water echo each other. However, if you take a bamboo raft at noon, you must protect yourself from the sun. You will get tanned in minutes.
I had a fever when I was in Wuyi Mountain, but once I got on the bamboo raft on Jiuqu River, I completely forgot about the fever.
Because of its three bends and nine turns, it is named Jiuqu River. Rafting on Jiuqu River is worth a try, but reservations must be made in advance.
The stream flows among the mountains, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere. It is worth seeing! ! !
I went to Wuyi Mountain during the May Day holiday. The crowded holidays are not suitable for traveling. You can see the terrible crowds in Figure 3. I was not able to move forward by myself, but was pushed forward by the people behind me. I could not stay for 2 minutes before being pushed forward again by the people behind me. Avoid holidays to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Jiuqu River in the green mountains and in the mist is really beautiful. Looking down from the mountain, the Jiuqu River seen from the mountain is majestic and winding, while the Jiuqu River at the foot of the mountain is gentle, with green water flowing slowly. Coming to Wuyi Mountain can purify the waste gas in your body, because you breathe super fresh air.
The view from above and from the water is different. You will see different scenery if you change your position.
Not bad btw, not as amazing as I imagined...
Jiuqu Creek is a stream on the southwest foot of Huanggang Mountain, the main peak of Wuyi Mountain, located in the valley of peaks and rocks of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province. Wuyi Mountain has 36 peaks and 99 rocks. Peaks and rocks intersect, streams crisscross, and Jiuqu Creek runs through them, winding for 15 miles. It is named Jiuqu Creek because of its three bends and nine turns. It is about 10 kilometers long and covers an area of 8.5 square kilometers. The mountains embrace the water, and the water flows around the mountains. Each bend has a different landscape painting. "The nine bends of the stream pour down the liquid clouds, and the mountain light is immersed in the clear ripples." This vividly outlines the beautiful outline of Jiuqu Creek.
First of all, you need to understand the weather. It is not fun to raft when it rains heavily. Then make an appointment in advance. Individual tourists will automatically form a team after entering. Normally, there are 6 people on each bamboo raft, and 5 people when the water level is high. The whole rafting time is about 150 minutes. After getting on the boat, the boatman will ask for a tip of 20 yuan per person. It is better to give it. If you give it, they will introduce each attraction in detail. The whole journey is more relaxing and interesting. It is said that there is also a luxury tour for 40 yuan per person, which means you can stop and take pictures halfway. The scenery on the road is still very beautiful, and the water is very clear. If it is not the rainy season, you can see the fish in the water. You can bring some small biscuits and other things. They will tell you where to feed the fish. The fish are really fast and come in one throw. You can see many attractions along the way. Tianyou Peak is suitable for shooting in the afternoon, Yunu Peak is suitable for shooting in the morning, and there are also peculiar hanging coffins. Be sure to take sun protection measures when you go in summer! The overall feeling of rafting is very comfortable~
The whole rafting time was a bit long and boring. Taking advantage of the May Day holiday, the boatman asked for 20 yuan per person to explain the scenic spots to the six of us on the bamboo raft!
Because I knew in advance that the boatmen charged 10 yuan each and that their commentary was pieced together based on human imagination and various boring dirty jokes, I didn't spend money to listen to their crosstalk!
But the scenery is still good. The mountains in the south are very different from those in the north. The mountains are full of vegetation. Although they are not as beautiful and majestic as Mount Huangshan, they have their own unique charm and feel like a paradise!
It was a very good experience. If I go to Wuyi Mountain again, I will probably take it again.
The most important thing to do when visiting Wuyi Mountain is to go bamboo rafting on Jiuqu River. If you don’t go on a bamboo raft, it’s like you haven’t been to Wuyi Mountain.
It turned out that because there were many elderly people and children in our family, we only planned to play for two days, and the bamboo raft tickets could not be purchased separately. Only three-day triple tickets could be booked online. We planned to buy them when we arrived at Wuyi Mountain. However, when we arrived at the local area, all the travel agencies were out of tickets, which almost became the biggest regret of this trip to Wuyi Mountain.
But, but, but, thanks to the almighty Taobao and Jack Ma, I was able to find five tickets on Taobao the next morning. The merchant was Wuyi International Travel, and they still had six tickets, and they could issue all kinds of discounted tickets. After buying online, I could pick up the tickets at the ticket machine at the scenic spot ticket center with my ID card. The trip was a success!
It can be considered a blessing in disguise. I bought bamboo raft tickets online for Sunday afternoon. If I bought them in advance, I could only go rafting on Saturday. There was a heavy rainstorm on Friday night, and the Jiuqu River turned into the Yellow River with nine bends and eighteen turns. In just one day, it became crystal clear again on Sunday afternoon. Although it was a bit hot, the scenery was really beautiful.
You still have to tip the raftsmen, which is NT$120 per raft, but you can bargain for NT$100. After receiving the tip, the raftsmen will explain and interact with you. After all, the purpose of traveling is to have fun, and most tourists pay the tip.
The waiting time for the bamboo raft was a bit long, almost an hour.
