You can also fly sky lanterns at night. When you feel tired after dinner, you can just lie down on the beach, swim at night, or walk on the beach. The tide is rising and falling nearby, and the fish fires are dotted in the distance. I can only sigh that the years are quiet and good~

The white sandy beach is backed by lush forests and surrounded by clear waters. It is a natural bathing beach, so Maluan Bay is also the most visited place in Dongshan Island. However, compared with the beaches in Xiamen at this time, it is already very good.

In the evening, there are usually fishermen collecting their nets, and it is a very interesting experience to participate in them and help pull the nets.

Personally, I think it is more suitable to visit Maluan Bay in the afternoon because there are many people there. Those who like bustling places may have a deeper experience. I like tranquility, so I am not too impressed by Maluan Bay. However, the serious and responsible attitude of the lifeguards is still very moving, which is something that cannot be experienced in other attractions (without lifeguards).

The sea here is really clean, and you can even go swimming in Maluan Bay.

December is not the peak season anymore. I bought a house here and come to the beach every day. There are few people and the scenery is still beautiful.

The air in Maluan Bay in November was filled with the smell of the sea and the sea water was gray and turbid.

Beaches all over the world are similar, the only difference is the level of popularity and service facilities. The sand here is pretty good and relatively clean (especially for a free scenic spot with many tourists); there are not many water activities, it seems that there is only sailing, but as long as adults can swim in the sea and children can play in the sand, it is enough to while away the time.

The scenery is average, the beach and water quality are also average, not as good as described, it is over-described. PS: I played sailing and it was very good!

Showering and foot washing are all provided by the shops. Foot washing costs 5 yuan, shower costs 20 yuan. Parking costs 15 yuan. The sand is very coarse, and there are no shells or crabs. There are many people during the National Day holiday. The owner of the hotel I stayed in said that the food is very expensive, so I didn't eat there. I stayed in the county town and drove 8 kilometers away, which is not far. I ate a full meal at the food stalls in the county town for 300 or 400 yuan. In fact, the attractions are similar. There is no need to drive hundreds of kilometers to come here. I just stood on the beach for half an hour and left.

Free beach, many food stalls around, few people, beautiful scenery, clear and blue sea, fine sand, comparable to Sanya, but with much fewer people than Sanya. There are many sea view apartments around, and they are not expensive, suitable for bringing children to play for a few days.

Dongshan Island has two beaches, Jinluan Bay and Maluan Bay. You can choose either one. Maluan Bay is more crowded and is a more mature beach. You can enjoy swimming, water skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and other entertainment activities on the sea. The public facilities for food, clothing, housing and transportation are relatively complete.

Transportation: 5 colleagues took a three-hour train ride from Shenzhen and finally arrived at Yunxiao Station. As soon as we got out of the station, there was a bus to Dongshan Island, 10 yuan per person to Tongling. It was a 1-hour ride, and I was very nervous. Accommodation: I stayed in a 2-bedroom, 1-living room suite diagonally opposite the Maluan Bay Scenic Area for 4 nights. The house was very cozy and clean, and I felt like home. Through observation, I could see that the landlord also liked to travel. He had everything you needed. It cost $389 per night. The landlord was a handsome guy who was very enthusiastic and kind. He patiently answered any questions I had (thumbs-up)

Itinerary: It was already evening when we arrived at Dongshan on the first day. We first went to the place where we were staying to put our things. Since it was close to the scenic spot, we hiked to Maluan Bay to watch the sunset (it was so beautiful that I cried, really). We walked around until 8 o'clock before going to eat (grumbling)

On the second and third days, I worked with colleagues to write a plan, go to the market, and do research. We were not familiar with the place, so we kept taking taxis. The total cost was 176 yuan. I was exhausted. I went back to my place to rest after dinner in the evening for two days. I was too tired to go around.

On the fourth day, I hiked to the beach early in the morning to watch the sunrise and played on the beach until the afternoon (I can’t swim so I could only play in the waves). At noon, I went to the market to look at seafood and bought some fresh seafood to bring back (I took pictures and asked the landlord on WeChat for an approximate price, I was afraid of being ripped off).

The next morning I took the train back to Shenzhen. Here is a brief summary:

①I am very satisfied with the beautiful scenery and air. I would also like to thank the landlord for his environment and attitude. I will stay here again in mid-July.

② As for transportation, it is more convenient to rent a car or drive yourself. Many remote places are inaccessible and there are no direct buses.

③It’s a pity that I didn’t eat much seafood this time because I ate it often there. I didn’t expect the seafood I brought back to taste so fresh and sweet. What a pity.

④ If you buy seafood, it’s best to take a picture and ask the landlord for the approximate price, otherwise you will be ripped off (a kind of fish was sold to me for 220 yuan per catty, and then I asked the landlord and he said it was about 120 yuan, and I bargained, and finally it was 135 yuan per catty! You can’t rip me off)

⑤If you are going to travel, it is recommended to stay close to the scenic area. The sun is very strong. My neck got sunburned and I cried/(ㄒoㄒ)/~~ I didn’t bring sunscreen and the weather forecast said it would be cloudy. I cried!

⑥ It is a pity that I did not go to Guandi Temple to see the wind-moving stone. I will have a chance next time.

Maluan Bay is currently a relatively mature bay, whether it is public facilities or food, clothing, housing and transportation. When it comes to scenery, I personally think it is not as good as Jinluan Bay. Because the development here is mature, there are many tourists, and the damage is serious. Of course, the beach and sea water here are still quite good. The public facilities here are relatively complete, including flushing rooms, public toilets, restaurants, hotels, etc. The transportation here is really more convenient than Jinluan Bay. It is difficult to get a car in Jinluan Bay, but here there are tricycles everywhere waiting for you to ride. For food, it is recommended to eat in some restaurants on the beach. The cost is higher and you can't eat good seafood.

The wind was very strong. The water in Maluan Bay was clear, but there was still garbage on the beach. There were many people there. We arrived at around 4pm. The water was warm and very comfortable. We lived in an apartment nearby. We bought seafood ourselves for less than 400 yuan. We made a full seafood dinner. It was very satisfying.

We went on a self-driving tour. There were too many people on Saturday. We didn't like the food very much. There was nothing delicious. We were very disappointed as foodies.

There is no road here, you can only go by water. The depth is not as shallow as you imagine, and there are undercurrents, so please do not imitate.

While enjoying the sunshine, sea and beach here, I experienced the thrill of windsurfing and surfing, and also experienced sailing myself. Looking at the rolling waves in the distance on the sea, my heart was surging.
