The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall was established in 1962 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Zheng Chenggong's recovery of Taiwan. It is the largest collection center and research base of Zheng Chenggong's cultural relics and documents at home and abroad.
The memorial hall is located on a mountain and faces the sea, surrounded by lush trees and a solemn atmosphere. The whole hall is divided into seven parts, exhibiting more than 300 cultural relics, materials, photos, sculptures and models, systematically showing the life and deeds of Zheng Chenggong.
Among the poetry and painting materials, there are Zheng Chenggong's poems and his handwriting, "Zheng Chenggong and Wang Zhongxiao Playing Chess", "The Final Edition of Records of Sea Tours", etc. Among them, "The Final Edition of Records of Sea Tours" (a total of two volumes) is a manuscript discovered in Tongan in 1960, which is a very precious historical material.

Generally speaking, after coming down from Sunlight Rock, you can reach the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall from a small path.
The memorial is a single multi-storey building, which tells the story of heroes.
There are many antiques in it that should be authentic.
In modern times, they are naturally looked down upon, but they were all heroes in ancient times.
But what attracted me most was the warship model
It is done vividly and shows every detail
Even the dust in the corners of the stairs is perfectly presented
If you have time, you should come and visit.
After all, I can still turn on the air conditioner
Of course, the most important thing is to remember history
The Xiamen Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall was built in 1962 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the great national hero Zheng Chenggong's recovery of Taiwan.
In Haoyue Garden, you can see the statue of Zheng Chenggong, and to learn more about his life and deeds, you can go to the memorial hall next to the west gate of Riguang Rock.
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is a well-preserved modern building built by returned overseas Chinese and donated to the country. You can stop by after visiting Sunlight Rock. Now the memorial hall mainly displays some cultural relics about Zheng Chenggong and introduces his life and deeds.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located in the Sunlight Rock Scenic Area. The balcony on the third floor has a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island. You can visit it when you go down the mountain from Sunlight Rock.
│"Alyosha, don't be afraid, the train has stopped above, and the day will dawn when he smiles."
Zheng Chenggong was an amazing and great hero. Although his descendants were suppressed, he was still erected here as a door god facing the east. How glorious and domineering.
With different standpoints, right and wrong, good and evil seem less important. The stone sculpture of Mr. Zheng in Haoyue Garden is tall and mighty. At night, when the lights are on, Mr. Zheng is covered in golden light, sitting and overlooking the islanders, majestic and unrivaled.
Taiwan is in the east, I am on the other side, and the sun rises as usual.
For those who love history and national heroes, you can go and learn about it. The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall mainly displays objects and exhibitions related to the period before his success. I don't think it has much appeal to girls. Finally, Taiwan has always been the inherent territory of our country.
It is located inside the Sunlight Rock scenic spot and is free to visit (provided that you enter the Sunlight Rock scenic area first).
There are signposts on the mountain indicating the way to the memorial hall (probably from the Bo Bian sculpture). That road is wrong. It leads to a side door but that door is not open (see, everyone says the route is confusing). You have to go down from Qin Garden and then go back to the memorial hall on the road at the main gate. The memorial hall is closed for renovation on Mondays. The memorial hall is quite good, but there are not many people. Maybe everyone is not very interested. I walked around it slowly for a long time by myself. It roughly talked about Zheng Chenggong's life experience and his later confrontation with the Qing army and his defeat of the Dutch to recover Taiwan, but his thoughts and actions have always been against the Qing and restoration of the Ming Dynasty, which makes me feel a little too loyal to the previous dynasty.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located here, and we can recall that this national hero prepared his troops here to repay the country's integrity.
Zheng Chenggong: My statue is here to guard the country. I predict that the country will be peaceful and the people will be safe from now on. You descendants are welcome to visit at will.
Indoors, children are not very interested, they just take a look and leave!
This attraction is free. I went in and took a look. It is a museum of Zheng Chenggong. Sunlight Rock is just above the memorial hall. In fact, it looks almost the same from the fourth floor of the memorial hall.
The reason why it is worth a visit is that the introduction to Zheng Chenggong here is very clear and makes me admire Guoxingye even more. I am from Taicang, the starting point of Zheng He's voyage to the West. There is also a Zheng He Memorial Hall here, but I didn't feel much after visiting it.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is below the Sunlight Rock scenic spot. I felt a little tired after coming down from it, so I stopped to rest my feet, eat something, and take a walk to learn about history.
Located in the center of Gulangyu Island, it shows the historical story of Zheng Chenggong's recovery of Taiwan and his fight against the Qing court.
A place to pay tribute to national heroes, a good place to go, it still takes 2 days to play around Gulangyu
The statue is ten times the height of Zheng Chenggong. It is still very majestic. After all, he is the great man who conquered Taiwan. It is worth a visit.
I went there on Monday, but it was closed for rest, so I didn't go in, but looked at it from outside.
The memorial hall is the largest collection center and research base of Zheng Chenggong's cultural relics and documents at home and abroad. The remains of the village gate and water drill platform are still preserved. The whole hall is divided into seven parts, exhibiting more than 300 cultural relics, materials, photos, sculptures and models, showing the life and deeds of Zheng Chenggong in a relatively systematic way.
在日光嚴裡面,下山時順道在門口拍照。
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is right next to the Sunlight Rock, but their sign is not facing one side, so it was hard to find it. I walked around for several times before I found it. The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is not included in the Sunlight Rock ticket, but it is free to visit. It contains some history of Zheng Chenggong and is a small museum. There is still a long way from the gate to the museum, and it feels like I walked a lot more. There are some seating and rest areas outside the museum. This museum is not very big, but it is still quite good.
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall: The whole hall is divided into seven parts, exhibiting more than 300 cultural relics, materials, photos, sculptures and models, which systematically show the life and deeds of Zheng Chenggong. The overall feeling is not as good as the Shipbuilding Culture Museum in Mawei Port.
Unfortunately, it was closed when I went there, so I could only see the front and didn't know what was going on inside.
一個紀念館啦,了解的朋友可以前往。不了解的人就會覺得無聊喔。
Included in the Sunlight Rock attraction pass, the memorial hall is not very big and tells some history of Zheng Chenggong and ancient naval battles. You can learn a lot by taking a walk around it.
To be honest, it is not ideal to have no tour guide to explain. To go to this place, you must understand the history and have a tour guide to accompany you.
Sitting together with the Lord, I instantly felt very powerful!
This is a place that all Chinese people should come and see! First, give a thumbs up to the heroes, and second, remember that Taiwan is our inalienable sacred territory, and it must return to our embrace!
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall, free admission, opening hours: 08:00-17:00, it's nice to go in and take a look
In addition to the preface hall, the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall has seven exhibition halls: "Zheng Chenggong's Youth", "Serving the Country and Saving the People, and Fighting the Qing Dynasty", "China's Treasure Island - Taiwan", "Crossing the Sea to the East - Driving the Dutch to Recover Taiwan", "Working Hard - Developing Taiwan", "Great Righteousness - Immortality", and "National Spirit, Inspiring Future Generations". More than 800 kinds of cultural relics, documents, materials, photos, charts, paintings, sculptures, models, etc. are exhibited to systematically introduce Zheng Chenggong's glorious life.
Success, success, success, hahaha, just take a look
Hero, my idol, looks so much like me hahahaha
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is worth a visit. It is a historical hero. There are relics, models, and scenes in the hall, which are full of historical charm. You can also overlook the scenery of Gulangyu Island from the upper floor.
There is a sculpture of Zheng Chenggong on Gulangyu Island.
Great hero, come here to learn about his great achievements.
Very average, in the summer my legs break from walking!!!
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall: It is inside the Sunlight Rock Scenic Area but no entrance fee is charged. I came here because my son likes history and is interested in Zheng Chenggong.
I admire it very much; on the other hand, you can overlook the entire Gulangyu Island from the platform on the third floor of the museum.
After getting off the Sunlight Rock, next to it is the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall. Tickets: Free, but the museum is closed on Mondays due to renovations. Fortunately, we went there on a different day. The memorial hall is very detailed and you can learn a lot. If you travel in a local area, museums and related memorial halls are must-go places, because they are the best way to understand local culture.
Museums are boring as always, but it would be a shame not to go in.
I think you must visit the memorial hall to make your trip to Gulangyu Island worthwhile. There are many introductions about Zheng Chenggong in the memorial hall. Only by reading these can you understand the tip of the iceberg of Minnan culture.
Right next to Sunlight Rock, there is a free scenic spot with very attentive exhibitions. Standing on the third floor of the memorial hall, you can overlook part of the landscape of Gulangyu Island.
You can see this memorial on the way to Sunlight Rock. It is free to visit and can popularize some historical knowledge. You can take a look if you have time.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located in the Sunlight Rock Scenic Area of Gulangyu Island. It is a memorial hall dedicated to commemorating Zheng Chenggong. Outside the memorial hall, there are mortars used in those days, and a statue of Zheng Chenggong in front of the door. Inside the memorial hall, there are text introductions to Zheng Chenggong and items used by Zheng Chenggong in those days!
Those who are interested in history and want to know more about Zheng Chenggong should not miss this place.
This attraction can be said to be the main attraction that most people must visit on Gulangyu Island (of course, you can skip it if you are not interested). The geographical location can be said to be very important. It is located in the center of the island. Next to it is the Sunlight Rock attraction. You can go directly to it from Sunlight Rock. It is free. (Sunlight Rock is charged)
It is a three-story building with rich exhibits. If you read the contents carefully, you can feel that Zheng Chenggong was a great man who devoted himself to recovering Taiwan for 15 years. Through the texts, cultural relics and other items, you will find that Zheng Chenggong was not only an outstanding military commander, but also a scholar with the talent of governing the country. It can be said that he is both civil and military, and is a national hero worthy of respect and remembrance by future generations... It is quite good to supplement some historical knowledge. After all, the textbooks are not so detailed, and it is free.
The environment is good, there are many seats outside, and there are seats on the third floor. The entrance is on the first floor and the exit is on the third floor. You don't have to go back and forth. You can finish the tour in about an hour.
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall
The entrance fee to Sunlight Rock is included here!
Although the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located in the Sunlight Rock Scenic Area, there is no entrance fee. After entering from the Sunlight Rock West Forest Gate, walk a few steps to the left and you will see the memorial hall. The theme building of the memorial hall is the modern building of Gulangyu Island, the Kanqing Villa, which itself is a beautiful scenery.
In the center of the main hall of the memorial hall is a statue of Zheng Chenggong in military uniform, next to which are the iron cannons used in those days and models of warships. There are many exhibits in the museum, including historical materials, large oil paintings, statues, real objects, etc. It takes about an hour to look through them carefully.
Outside the memorial hall is a very unique courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard there is a seated statue of Zheng Chenggong, surrounded by tall coconut trees. The scenery is very beautiful.
If you like Zheng Chenggong, if you like the history of fighting against the Dutch to recover Taiwan, you can really go and see it. Zheng Chenggong is a memorial hall with the theme of patriotism. There are many guns and cannons that Zheng Chenggong used, as well as many weapons and warships. These were considered advanced for that era. However, Zheng Chenggong died at the age of 38. He really died young. God is jealous of talents, and it is a loss to the country. Zheng Chenggong first fought against the Dutch to recover Taiwan, and then fought against the Qing Dynasty to restore the Ming Dynasty. His achievements were outstanding.
Well, the building itself is attractive enough for me. There is nothing attractive inside for me. There are some clothes and books used by Zheng Chenggong during his lifetime, as well as some statues, etc. It is not very big, but you can still take a closer look to understand the history. We mainly played on the "balcony" upstairs for a long time (actually mainly for taking pictures). The view from that location is really good.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is closed on Mondays. If you want to learn more about history, you can take a closer look inside.
Worth going, worth going, worth going, worth going, worth going
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located next to Sunlight Rock in Xiamen and is part of the Sunlight Rock Scenic Area. Tickets are included in the Sunlight Rock ticket. The display cabinets in the memorial hall contain relics such as the jade belt, dragon robe fragments, shoes, and seals worn by Zheng Chenggong. Among the poetry and painting materials, there are his poems and handwriting, which systematically introduce Zheng Chenggong's glorious life.
There is a Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall in the Sunlight Rock Park. There is a statue of Zheng Chenggong in front of the door and several ancient cannons placed at the door. There are many objects from that time on display here, as well as the military pay of Zheng Chenggong's army. In the middle, there is a very strange word that experts have verified to be "Zhu Chenggong". There is also a painting of Fort Zeelandia, which was depicted by a Dutch painter at the time - Anping Fort in Tainan City today.
There were many people climbing to the top, so I didn't join them. I went to another top and looked up at him...
The museum is closed on Monday, and it happened that the day we went there was a Monday, so everyone must adjust their time to come.
It has a lot of historical significance, and it's free, so you can go in and have a look.
Arrived at the door, closed on Monday, that's all
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is in the same place as Sunlight Rock. It is free and is actually a historical site, just like the Hulishan Fort.
However, apart from the beautiful building, the rest of the place is not very pretty, just some cannons and some calligraphy.
You pass by this place on your way from Neicuo'ao to Longtou Road. There's nothing too attractive about it, so you don't have to come here as a tourist attraction. However, it's a good place to escape the heat when the weather is hot.
When I came down from Sunlight Rock, I walked along the back mountain and saw this memorial hall. Due to time constraints, I didn't go in to take a closer look. I just took a photo of the sculptures in the garden.
After walking around inside and outside, I didn't see the statue of Zheng Chenggong. After asking, I found out that the statue was over at Haoyue Garden. I remembered something: I remember reading the guide and remembering that it was on such and such a beach. It doesn't look like that here~~~ Hehe. My brain is not working well anymore.
The bronze statue of Mr. Zheng stands majestically, giving the impression of a supervisor.
Haoyue Garden is a memorial garden for Zheng Chenggong. There are giant stone statues of Zheng Chenggong and various large-scale reliefs in the garden, which reproduce the historical scene of Zheng Chenggong leading his troops to the east to drive the Dutch back to Taiwan. Haoyue Garden is located in the southeast of Gulangyu Island, close to Lujiang River. Haoyue Garden is named after Zheng Chenggong's poem "I miss you so much that I can't sleep, the bright moon shines through the white curtains." It is intended to express respect for the national hero and deep thoughts for Taiwan compatriots.
I went to the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall to see the blue sky and white sun.....It should be from Taiwan
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall ~ In short, it is a huge house. It is very cool. It is very comfortable to live here.
Next to the entrance of Sunlight Rock, go in and pay your respects. After all, you are in his territory.
After coming down from Sunlight Rock, we went to the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall, which is open to the public for free.
It is right next to Sunlight Rock, where you can take a look and learn about history.
This is the most unique place in my opinion! You can see the statue from a long distance!
There are free attractions on Gulangyu Island. You must go and see them. The view of Gulangyu Island from the second floor is amazing.
The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is open to the public free of charge. The memorial hall systematically displays Zheng Chenggong's life and deeds through various cultural relics, materials, photos, sculptures and models, and has a collection of more than 400 historical relics related to Zheng Chenggong.
Recommended reason: The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall was built as the largest Zheng Chenggong cultural relic and document collection center and research base at home and abroad.
